Let's talk some boxing on this episode of The Ring
Kings Boxing about Brian Norman sing you talking about he's

(00:24):
didn't dismissing Devin Haney's power, saying he's not bigger a
threat than sentillions a Vassis of Sasaki. That is absolutely
diabolical work by about Brian Norman Senior down playing Devin
Haney and listen, Brian Norman has power. Let's get this straight.
Brian Norman is a very slick boxer, but you cannot

(00:47):
discout discount Devin Haney's craftiness, his ring IQ and the
fact that he's fought in some big fights. No disrespect
to Brian Norman's game, but we do understand that Devin
Haney is balked up too. We've seen recent pictures. Y'all
probably seen some of the latest pictures about Devin Haney
balking up to deal with Brian Norman Jr. He's not

(01:09):
scared of Brian Norman Jr. He's not. I thought this
was a fight that was supposed to happen a ways ago.
But I understand what Brian Norman and the team wants
to do. They wanted to go and get the money.
But these other fighters, Sabasas, Citilian and Sasaki, you know,
they might be bigger punchers or more power punchers than them,
But you can't discount Devin Haney's punching power. Now. He

(01:33):
is Devon's thirty two and zero and does have fifteen knockouts,
so he's He's not a knockout fighter like Brian is.
Brian twenty eight and over twenty two knockouts, so he's
definitely has more power to his game. But if Devin
Haney is slick, that power won't mean a goddamn thing
in the round. So it's gonna be an interesting match,
to be honest with you, man. So let's kind of

(01:54):
delve in on some of this stuff and y'all let
me know, because there's a lot of people out there
that simply don't like Devin Haney. I didn't like the
situation with him and Ryan Garcia. How that all went down,
but he was able to scrub that loss off of
his record. There were some fights after that which I
kind of didn't like, but you know, jumping in the ring,
all that changes around. If you beat Brian Norman Junr.

(02:17):
If you beat Brian Norman Jr. Via knockout, that is respectable.
I don't think it earns him big time, big points,
but it does shut some people up, at least for
the moment right before we see larger fights. Right but anyway,
comparisons to Cintillion and Savesa and Kuvas, Sorry Kuvas. When
it comes to skill, he's got nothing on Brian Norman Jr.

(02:39):
We're going to show y'all on November the twenty second.
I don't see him as a bigger threat than Centillion,
said Brian Norman Senior to Mill City Boxing about Hani.
I don't see him as a bigger threat than say Kuvas.
I don't see him as a bigger threat than Jensaki Sasaki.
He's believed that hani game plan will be to jab,
move and tie Brian Norman Jr. All night to grind

(03:02):
out a decision victor. However, Norman Jr. Doesn't see that
as impossible because Brian Norman Jr. Has an inch reach
advantage over Handy. He also has more powerful jab, which
is like a power punch. Now Hanny's first true welterweight tests.
Have you ever seen Deva Hanny fight a full fledged welterweight?
What fight have you seen Handy fight that had the

(03:23):
same length as him? That Jose Ramirez and Ryan Garcia.
While you were impressed with the performance, said Norman Jr. Right,
when Norman Junior is driving it is that Handy has
never fought at a full welterweight, you know, full weight
at the weltered division. His last fight against former WBC
and WBO light welterweight champion Jose Ramirez was at a

(03:44):
catchweight of one forty four. That was last May. Now,
Ramirez is not a welterweight. He was past his prime
at thirty three, And say what was past his prime?
But yeah, I guess you would say that, I'd come
to think about it, I guess he's right. So anyway,
baptism by fire. Hani's first real test at one forty
seven will be against the twenty four year old or
an old Norman Jr. On nofhim of the twenty second,

(04:07):
it's going to be baptism by fire for the San Francisco,
California native. Devn is not only fighting for the first
time at the full weight of one hundred and forty
seven pounds, but he's facing the biggest puncher at the
weight at that class. Twenty four year old Norman Jr.
Is the youngest opponent Hane he will face since his
first his first against the twenty one year old Jose
and Genaz back in twenty fifteen. All the same, all

(04:31):
the same, but it takes more than power to win
some of these fights. And like I said, you know
the fight against with him against Ryan Garcia, which Ryan
Garcia has one punch and that's that hook, and he
wasn't watching for the hook, you know, and the hook
called him a couple of times. He was boxing him
good at first until he got a little sloppy and

(04:54):
kept moving moved into that hook, and then Ryan Garcia
showed him what sports looked like. So is but this guy,
he has a But Brian Oman Jr. Is a big puncher,
has powering both fists and is not a dumb fight.
He's very smart and crafty fight. He just doesn't have
the respect yet of being a top This is his
big fight too. I think this is Brian Rmans Junior

(05:14):
the biggest fight of his career to fight Devin Hainey.
And he's a you know, people try to play him
off like he's nothing knowing the riter is correct. Shout
out the Boxing twenty four uh dot com. The writer's correct.
He's never fought at the wealth of class before. But
in the end is this guy is still a crafty
champion that did a lot so far, and I would

(05:35):
advise people to not throw him away on the side, like, oh,
Brian Ormang is gonna come out Dan kill to piss
out the man. I think he has a plan and
it might be involved to kind of work his jab
and doing that's just a smart fight to get in there.
And you don't go toe to toe with a punch,
especially if you're not a puncher, if you're not a
slug that you don't slug with him. You know, you

(05:57):
gotta pick and choose your battles. But Devin Hainey does
have some ability to sting them too. Enough of them
punches add up there, they'll be able to do something.
But he can frustrate Brian Norman Jr. It'll be it'll
be a chess match because I like both these fighters,
and I think got to give Devin Hainey credit for
running into the toughest fight in the welterweight division in

(06:17):
Brian Norman Jr. You gotta give him a credit for
stepping in the goddamn ring at least, because a lot
of these people will run are until they can't run
no more. And I guess see, you had a couple
of fights with it seemed like he was running, But
at some point you got to get in the ring
with a fighter that can fight and and and put
it on the line. So at least for what I'm
seeing on the interview circuit from Devin Haynes, now he's

(06:40):
bulking up to deal with Brian Norman Jr. Will it
effect his speed and this his uh his philosophy and
how do you deal with him? We'll see, We'll see,
We'll see this is gonna be a really solid fight
between two good fighters, man, and and we'll we'll be tested.
So who you got? Put it in the common section below.
Let me know who you guys are picking, Devin Haney

(07:02):
or Brian Norman Jr. This is a fight that's supposed
to happen November to twenty second. Man, and we'll be
here for all that smoke. Man. But anyway, with that
being said, that'll be the end of Ring Kings Boxing Report.
