out the Box Shout out to Box the News twenty
four to seven. They had the school, but this was
very multiple different platforms for different boxing family members, and
they talked about Eddie Hearn criticizing the IBF's decision to
allow Usik to retain his title for the Fury rematch.
And I listen, we've all heard the talk about the

IBF wanting to strip Alexander Usik of his belt and
give it to the winner of the Daniel Duboy versus
Philippe Hargovic, that match up that's set up to go
on in June. First, this upcoming weekend, what's going to

be interesting, man, to be honest with you, is you know,
I thought that stripping Usik of the title, just defended it.
We all know that that unification trump's mandatories. We know that,
and he won't be able to defend the title, the
IBF title in the week. It's not going to happen.

So we know based on some information that Andy Hearn
talked about, is that an exemption has been applied, which
should be the case. Be totally unfair for you to
strip them. He just became undisputed. This the first time
we've had an undisputed unified heavyweight champion and the heavyweights,

and first in the four belt era. The last time
we had it was what twenty plus years when Lennox
Lewis did it. So having Alexander Usak, who's been on
the hell of a ride in terms of his boxing career,
coming up from cruiserweight to the heavyweights, a lot of
people believe that he was too small to compete against
the heavyweights, and he tried. He chopped down the tree

known as Tyson Fury. He chopped them down, shut them up,
and that's hard to do with Tyson Fury. You know,
he shut them up, out boxed them, pressured them. I
thought they should have stopped the fight after he was
battered all around. And matter of fact, if we take
a look at the pitcher I got, look at his legs, man,
his knee, his legs, his knees look kind of strange. There.

There was also some rumors about his legs and all that.
But Tyson's getting toward the back end of his career
and we all know that this was his greatest fight.
You know, we talk about the you know, the you know,
the matchup early on in his career against Klitchko, but
this one here, man was a total different animal because

Alexander Usik really took it to Tyson fury and was
able to pressure him and ultimately get the win. So
the IBF is going to allow Usik to retain the title.
So that means the Duba Hargovic matchup doesn't have an
air and of course hearn doesn't like it, because if

you take the belt away from Alexander Usik and you
give it the flip Harkovic and Daniel Duboi, the guy
that is going to match up those guys, whoever wins
that matchup, the next guy is going to be Anthony
Joshua to fight the winner. That's what they're setting it
up to be. What Anthony Joshua would have fought the

winder of the Daniel Dubois and Flip Hargovic matchup, which
could have gave him a slick side way to get
back into belt contention where it kind of roped those
guys back in. Now, let's talk about this man, because
this is interesting. Let me give let me play this

of the fact that an exemption has been allowed.

said that they were open to the rematch. They wanted
the rematch that is contractually obligated, you know, potentially for

I mean, look, when you think about the rematch as
a couple of reasons it couldn't happen. One is someone's injured, right,
which doesn't appear to be the case although it was
a physically taxing fight for both and the other one
is that someone retires or doesn't want the fight. I mean,
some people have talked about what a time for Usick
to retire. You know, he's going to make more money

for the rematch, so unlikely. Probably thinks he can win
the rematch, which I think he's the favorite to do.
And I think, you know, there should be a rematch
because it was a great fight. You know, we were
there obviously, me and we had winning the fight tight.
Some had it a little bit wider, but still a
very close competitive fight. So as much as I want

AJ to fight Fury or Usik, I do think that
rematch should happen, and I'm sure it will come October
in RealD How.

Yeah, I think you're probably right, But how much pressure
if you can even put sort of situation like this,
can you put to make an AJ Fury fight next,
Because it feels like Eddie, if Fury loses this rematch
to Usik, it's gonna be an underdog going into that fight.
If he loses the rematch, does it take an AJ
fight off the table forever?

I mean Fury might walk.

Away after that, I mean not, you know, obviously Fury
wins in the fights for the uners Futy, it's bigger
than it is. If Fury loses, he's still a massive fight,
but they would have both lost. Who sick twice. It's
always going to be a big fight. But at the
same time, you know, we can't worry about other people,

you know, we can't base our career around Tyson Fury
winning or losing. The only focus that AJ has is
regaining the World heavyweight championship. Now, whether that's the IBF
spin off, whether that's Usick, whether that's Fury, we don't
really care. That's just the aim and whoever's got it,
it's got it. You know, AJ is not really focused
on Fury. He's just focused on the belts or a belt.

So we'd love to fight Tyson Fury or hopefully if
there is a rematch, he can do the business, but
obviously he's going to be up against it.

You mentioned that IBF title, and the thinking going into
Fury Usic was that immediately after that fight, the IBF
would strip the winner of that title.

It sounds like there's a little bit of.

you've got the Dubois Hergovic fight happening next weekend in
Saudi Arabia.

Because AJ is involved in that right like he would
be theoretically next in line to fight the winner of
Hergovich Dubois.

Yeah, and as I understand it, there's already been an exception,
so very unlikely, you know, I think I get both
sides of the argument. You don't really want the belts
to be fragmented, but then you've got a guy that's
been ordered ages ago, and he's been waiting and waiting
and waiting. So it was my understanding that the Furyustic
fight took place on the condition that the winner has
to fight Hergovic with no exceptions. I don't think that's

going to happen next week for Hergovich Dubois for that
to be on the line, but maybe the winner of
that AJ's next in line for the IBF would have
to see. But you can't just ignore your mandatory challenger
for like two.

And I get the whole point of yeah, but it's
great to have an undisputed champion, But what if you're
the shoes on the other foot, and you're this guy
who's been mandatory and now he goes out and beats
Duboir and like, and now he's told no, actually you
can't get your world typed shot till the summer of
twenty twenty five. It's like, it's not fair. So I
get both sides of the argument. But I do expect

that IBF belt to come vacant, but very unlikely for
next Saturday.

Unification. Man, this is an old boxing thought process unification.
Trump's mandatories all the time. If Hergovic was the undisputed
unified heavyweight champion, he would understand that idea. Now, ultimately
I don't agree with Herme's assessment. I mean, he represents

those guys, so of course he's going to say that
because he wants the belts loop back around some kind
of way to aj which if Alexander Usik continues to
hold those belts and challenge as that spot, I don't
think there's a heavyweight fighter currently that can beat him.
I mean he doesn't come in and he doesn't dance around,
he doesn't play games. He comes in and takes business.

He doesn't hot dog and show boat and do this
type of stuff. He goes in there and take care
of business. And shame on people that go in there,
hot dog, because they're gonna ultimately lose his Tyson Fury did,
I don't think there's a heavyweight in the current heavyweight
division that can take down Alexander Usik. I'm gonna be
honest with you. He beat AJ and beat AJ squarely.

In both those fights. He would totally outclass and Aj
is a good fighter, but it's levels to this stuff,
and Alexander Usik just he just just he gave him
a box, he gave He gave Aj a boxing class
in both those fights, and he's gonna do that. Even
though Tyson Fury is a skilled, big guy that can

fight like a little guy, at the end of the day,
Alexandusik is a smaller fighter that is a better fighter
in terms of his boxing then Tyson Fury is. Tyson
Fury is a big guy that has a lot of
plus to his game if he can work behind a
long jab. He had some success in the fight where
he was able to catch him with a couple of
uppercuts and do some stuff, but he just stopped throwing.

He wasn't as active past those six rounds as he
was supposed that he wouldn't need to be. He would
have to condition himself to constantly be at that pace
that he was doing between the round one and six.
He has to constantly fight Usik at that pace to
be able to beat him, and I don't think he
can do that. As it showed in the first fight,

he kind of his pace slowed down and when that happened,
alexand Duzik was able to get close to him and
really start using combination punching and really affect the Tyson Fury.
That overlooping shot where he hit Tyson up and the
nose right there, that begin everything to start falling apart
for Tyson Fury. So the next matchup, as we see

the rematch, and it's alway already been something where they
talked about a potential rematch between these fighters. My opinion is,
like most people are mandatory fights unification, Trump's mandatory. It's
a shame with Philip Pargo of Hargovic had to wait
so long. You know, it is what it is. So

he'll get an opportunity after the rematch, because like I said,
under you undisputed. You know Trump's mandatories and Trump's it
all the time. It's just a bigger deal and a
lot of people officiate that, so they understand that. So
at the end of the day, after the Tyson Fury
matchup in October, Dan, you look at Philipe Hargovic in

the new year sometimes, so he'll get an opportunity in
twenty twenty five. So he asked the first and foremost
before Philip Haargovic has to take care of business against
Daniel Dynamite Dubois and saw they Arabi. He has to
do that first before he worries about any other situation
outside that. He has to concentrate on Daniel Dubois because

Dubois is not going to be an easy fight for him.
So Hargovic's a big, physical fighter. But at the end
of the day, like I said, Daniel Dubois is somebody
you might want to watch out for. It don't look

about Mike tom Tyson experiencing a medical scare on a
flight to Los Angeles. US covered Boxing twenty four had
the scoop as they talked about it, and former heavyweight

champion Mike Tyson reportedly had a medical emergency on a
Sunday flight. The fifty seven year old Tyson was coming
from Miami to LA when he suffered a medical problem,
and it reports that Tyson suffered a quote apparent medical
scare end quote. It is unclear whether the medical problem
will affect Tyson's next fight against YouTuber Jake Paul on
July the twenty, more than likely not. The two were

fighting professionally sanctioned boxing match on Netflix, Netflix PPV and
ATMT Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Now what pretty much was
it was, now it's coming out that you know Mike
Tyson and it says so was right here. A representative
from Mike Tyson's camp told The New York Post. Thankfully,
mister Tyson is doing great. He became nauseous and dizzy

due to an alls or flare up thirty minutes before land,
and he's appreciative to the medical staff that were there
to help him. So and also situation occurred with Mike Tyson,
and ultimately it's a good sign man. But I don't anticipate.
There's no official word on this situation. Just to let

a Sebastian Fundora for a title shot. That was interesting.
When this came across my desk, I was thinking about, how,

a bloody matchup between Uh, Sebastian Ferandora and Tim Zue
where the last couple of fighters that Sebastian has been
fighting has been guys that have been pretty pretty good boxers.
Tim Sue's a pressure fighter. Uh, He's a guy that
wants to go pop up pop with you. And Sebastian

Ferdora was able to stand in there. He took a
lot of shots, he got blooded, he got his nose bust. Uh,
he was leaking blood. Sebastian Fandora, I think he got
gash really bad. And uh, Tim, excuse me, Tim Zu
got gash really bad. He was bleeding. It was a nasty,
bloody fight. They should have stopped that fight, by the way.
It was all these guys bleeding all over the place.
I thought that was incredibly ridiculous. It should have been stopped.

But it was still an ultimate, really interesting fight. To
see uh, Sebastian Fandora and Tim Sue go at it,
and ultimately Sebastian was able to claim uh the belt.
But now Errol Spence is back into it. He's back
trying to make a way into a back in box,
but not as a wealth to wait this time. He's

trying to get the junior middleweight crown from Sebastian Fandora.
And this is one of the situations where you look
at so, okay, we know what Terrence Crawford's got lined up,
what he's attempting to do, but now here comes Ero Spencer,
and everybody's waiting to see what Ero Spence do. We
know the stuff about what happened with him and Dereck James.
They ended up pretty bad, and you know, at first,
you know, and you think about that camp man that

they had with Derek James and Errol Spence in the
ad the Charlos or how things have changed man since that.

title against the WBCWBO Junior middleweight champion Sebastian Fandora, and

and he yet he's a world title ahead of most

than the contenders if he'd been ahead of him at
one fifty four, so he's being vaulted to the top
of the division. He's never fought to get the world
time shot against the two belt champion for Dora. So
a lot of people feeling this way that Spence is

using his name and his influence that getting the opportunity
to step in there and try to get the belt,
which is nothing new, man. I mean people do this
stuff all the time with guys that don't deserve or not.

other guys that is supposed to really step in and
get an opportunity and not getting a chance to shure

what they can do. But let me share this article

more of a proven pay per view fighter than Crawford,
and it's a fight with a better chance of making
money for Fandora. So would that be the case? Well,

in Arlington. Spencer's track record of pay per view fights

Lewis did it. So having Alexander Usak, who's been on

known as Tyson Fury. He chopped them down, shut them up,
and that's hard to do with Tyson Fury. You know,
he shut them up, out boxed them, pressured them. I
thought they should have stopped the fight after he was

his knee, his legs, his knees look kind of strange. There.

There was also some rumors about his legs and all that.
But Tyson's getting toward the back end of his career
and we all know that this was his greatest fight.

Alexander Usik really took it to Tyson fury and was
able to pressure him and ultimately get the win. So
the IBF is going to allow Usik to retain the title.
So that means the Duba Hargovic matchup doesn't have an

give it the flip Harkovic and Daniel Duboi, the guy
that is going to match up those guys, whoever wins

AJ to fight Fury or Usik, I do think that
rematch should happen, and I'm sure it will come October

Because it feels like Eddie, if Fury loses this rematch
to Usik, it's gonna be an underdog going into that fight.

to be fragmented, but then you've got a guy that's
been ordered ages ago, and he's been waiting and waiting

fight took place on the condition that the winner has
to fight Hergovic with no exceptions. I don't think that's

going to happen next week for Hergovich Dubois for that
to be on the line, but maybe the winner of
that AJ's next in line for the IBF would have
to see. But you can't just ignore your mandatory challenger

of way to aj which if Alexander Usik continues to
hold those belts and challenge as that spot, I don't
think there's a heavyweight fighter currently that can beat him.

fight like a little guy, at the end of the day,
Alexandusik is a smaller fighter that is a better fighter
in terms of his boxing then Tyson Fury is. Tyson
Fury is a big guy that has a lot of
plus to his game if he can work behind a
long jab. He had some success in the fight where
he was able to catch him with a couple of
uppercuts and do some stuff, but he just stopped throwing.

He wasn't as active past those six rounds as he
was supposed that he wouldn't need to be. He would
have to condition himself to constantly be at that pace
that he was doing between the round one and six.
He has to constantly fight Usik at that pace to
be able to beat him, and I don't think he
can do that. As it showed in the first fight,

he kind of his pace slowed down and when that happened,
alexand Duzik was able to get close to him and
really start using combination punching and really affect the Tyson Fury.
That overlooping shot where he hit Tyson up and the
nose right there, that begin everything to start falling apart
for Tyson Fury. So the next matchup, as we see

the rematch, and it's alway already been something where they
talked about a potential rematch between these fighters. My opinion is,
like most people are mandatory fights unification, Trump's mandatory. It's
a shame with Philip Pargo of Hargovic had to wait
