Originario della Puglia, cresciuto con le canzoni di Lucio Battisti, trasferitosi a Roma per frequentare il Laboratorio di Alta Formazione Musicale Officina Pasolini, Valerio ha trasformato la musica nella sua più grande passione.
A otto anni dalla pubblicazione del suo primo Ep "Vado di fretta" oggi Valerio può vantare un ricco curriculum musicale: ha vinto diversi premi (come il Premio Discovering Dalla), ha lavorato come autore per l'editore Warner Chappell Musica Italy, ha scritto per altri artisti (come per Ermal Meta, con il brano "Ercole" e per J-Ax con "Una terra di felicità"), nel 2019 ha fatto aprte del collettivo artistico Adoriza, vincendo la prestigiosa Targa Tenco per l'album "Viaggio in Italia- Cantando le nostre radici".
Il suo album disco d'esordio, Quarantena, nel 2020 ha visto la collaborazione di importanti musicisti della scena musicale romana come Piero Monterisi, Emanuele Brignola, Francesco De Nigris e Ramon Caraballo Armas. L'album è stato inserito nella cinquina finalista alle Targhe Tenco 2020 per la sezione "opere prime".
Lo scorso Giugno è uscito il suo ultimo singolo: "Non ti ho mai detto".
