(00:00):
How we doing, everybody. Thisis Randy Phillips of the Rough Infenders podcast.
(00:03):
This week's episode is brought to youby the Racing Guys, an MDP
Motorsports Promotion. They are doing twoopen modified races for seventy six laps,
one at Star July six, whichis coming up, and one at Claremont
September one. Both races will payseventy six hundred to win and one thousand
to start. It'll be called thetwenty twenty four Challenge Cup. Some of
(00:24):
the names that will be competing inthis event will be household names you came
to love and modified racing, thelikes of Matt Hirshman, Todd, Pat
Noe, Ronnie Williams, Brian Roby, Woody Pitcat, and much more.
Should be a great event and weshould see you all there. Also,
we would like to thank our podcastsponsor to help us out every month of
this year and all that stuff ThomasWelding, Helger, South Coast Power Equipment,
(00:47):
Ginger Motorsports, Robinson's Race Parts inFab, Brandon's Meat Shop, and
Hayes' Signs and Designs. We hopeyou guys enjoy this episode and let's get
on with the show. Everybody,We earn everybody. You throw ups here
of the Russ and fenders, playFast Soft Time where we talk anything and
everything about racing from ruts to southat various shops. We go on as
(01:10):
an untu, unedited and no bullshit, anyone to just go back to the
pit. Well he fucked up,Kiss my dad. We talk about WRS.
I don't know we got all theserules cues that we see on the
track. I've been waiting for thishome even running. You've been running the
baca oh for like five years, laying inside of me. He's blaming me.
(01:30):
Watch again in the day, RaineJacket, Raine Jacket, I raised
it just like you, Joe David'sdoes I get it? For the wind?
You can talk to various drivers intheir shop where they cut their teeth,
blood, their blood and they maketheir name in the sport that we
love of short track racing on atree and so kick back, relax and
grab a road soda. Inventory thevarious drivers that we go and meet and
(01:53):
now on with the show. That'salways says every time, Oh, you
know we should do this, weshould do that. You're scared, You're
scared. How we doing everybody. My name is Brandy Phillips here of the
roughly finished podcast, and we've beengone for a little bit, but we
are back for the moment, Iguess right now, we're just trying to
figure out when we can find timeto actually do the podcast and everything else
(02:16):
that involves, like the media stuffthat we're doing and all that, So
taking a little bit of a backseat, trying to figure out life while
doing this stuff for you guys. But at the same time we've been enjoying
racetracks controversies all that stuff. FuckingJames doesn't show up for another podcast episode,
so we'll probably be looking for anotherco host. And because I can't
(02:39):
keep doing this and just being theonly person you guys get to listen to.
I appreciate all you that he does, but at the same time,
yeah, we're just over it.I'm over it. Pretty much do all
this stuff by myself with my girlfriendand he pitches it once in a while.
(03:00):
And this is not bad on him. Me and him been good friends
for a while, but I obviouslyknow tendencies and I'm done with the tendencies.
And if people are not going tobe putting their best foot forward doing
this stuff, even though we've gaineda podcast over ninety five hundred people that
do listen to us and do watchwhat we do and all that, whether
they love us or hate us.And we're still making a movement with almost
(03:22):
five hundred off of ten k.If he doesn't want to be a part
of that, he won't. It'sthat easy. But you guys get my
point. It's just just a bunchof stuff that we've been trying to figure
out. We got new equipment,we got new stuff dealing with obviously my
son growing up and everything else thatthat entails. So I apologize that we
(03:44):
are fucking hit or miss on thepodcast episodes and that we can't do it
every week. But half of itis me just being a dad, and
half it is half of it isme waiting on other people just for them
to fucking sit on their thumb. So it is what it is, and
I'm just gonna be blunt, andhe knows I'm just gonna be blunt about
it, and if he feels adifferent way about it, you know that
(04:06):
me and him will talk about it. But other than that, I just
wanted to put that out there foryou guys, Like I just can't keep
doing this all by myself. Obviously. I mean I've done it for years
all by myself, but I feelweird not having someone else to talk to.
You guys got to understand when wedo these two hour podcasts or one
hour podcasts, I'm literally sitting heretalking to myself. I feel like I'm
(04:27):
schizophrenic. I'm serious. So italways helps to have a co host and
stuff like that. And if anybodywants to be on part of this stuff,
like, let me know it's okay, you are healthy your own fucking
words here. I will not standup for people unless I agree for what
they're saying. Other than that,I really just don't go for all that
(04:49):
stuff. But like I said,we're back for a little bit. I
guess probably just do this and justtalk to myself and have you guys listen
to me fucking blabberb out shit. But we had NASCAR weekend. We had
we had fireworks at on the racingsurface for both well yeah, for both
(05:12):
Pass and ACT. A couple ofweeks ago. We also had also Lease
Speedway. We had the big KyleBusch race that we had while NASCAR was
up here for the weekend too.Bad thunder Roads stuff. Coled Custer was
supposed to run at thunder Road, but that's gonna be at a later date
now. But at the same time, we've been running around and all that
(05:38):
stuff. So, like I said, we've we've been enjoying the controversy and
obviously the racing and the hard toogrind and bumping all that race and all
that stuff. So I mean,we're gonna just sit here and ramble maybe,
but like there's some key points thatI want to get into on this
stuff, and people can have theirdifferent opinions about it, all that stuff,
(06:00):
and that's okay, And I'm okayas a man to tell you,
Okay, that's your opinion. Irespect it and move on. Some people
aren't. Some people can't do that. So it is that's the beautiful thing
of social media because then I canjust read whatever bullshit the guy out of
left field can try to tell meabout stuff or all that stuff. A
little nitpick. I want to geton here is obviously the weather hasn't been
(06:26):
good this year, okay, andtracks are either going to get it in
or they're not going to get itin, okay. And it's not bad
for a track to cancel early becausethey're putting out a lot of money before
you spend your fifty dollars coming tothat gate, or if you're racing for
your points or whatever you guys wantto watch two weeks after your first race.
(06:46):
You guys got to understand there's alot of there's a lot of money
put up in the air because ofmother nature, and you guys got to
understand that they cancel it, it'seasier to figure out what they have to
recoup then try to get a showin. Have a bunch of pissed off
fans, have a bunch of pissedoff racers, still have a big fucking
debt, and then obviously everything elsethat has to entail with obviously rene outs.
(07:13):
Obviously we've been on the other endof this stuff. And I hope
people don't take it as me sayingwe should just start racing on Mondays is
like a bad thing. Like Iunderstand why tracks are calling it earlier,
trying to not try to get arace in, or trying not to obviously
lose their ass at the end ofthe day, trying to put on a
show for us, or trying toput a place open for us. To
(07:35):
race for a weekend and suck. You guys, get my point when I
say that, is because the weekend, the week will be great weather all
the way and be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, hot, sunny, all
that great stuff. And then Thursday, Friday starts get a little gloomy spot,
showers all that shit. Saturday Sundaywashers write the fuck out, and
(07:57):
we've done it. We've dealt withit all last year, we dealt with
it three years ago, but it'smore common now. Well, I don't
know what would be a great gameplan to try to figure that out.
But like you guys got to understand, like these guys aren't just calling races
just to call races. They haveto pay all these people to show up
(08:18):
before they even open up the gates. They have to have make sure that
the speedway safety's paid for before theyshow up. They have to make sure
they're paying their what monthly fucking mortgageor whatever the fucking case is, the
least agreement, whatever it is.So yeah, it sucks because they're sitting
there and they're like, cool, the rain's pissing all over everything right now,
(08:41):
I'm making no fucking money right now, and obviously I'm going to tune
on to fucking Facebook and shit likethat, and we're gonna be mad on
Facebook because we didn't try to getthe race. And if a track actually
and I want you guys all tounderstand this, if a track actually tries
to get races in and they're notthere to try to fuck you over or
(09:01):
try to get your money. I'veheard that all my life. It's so
fucking annoying to hear. They're nottrying to well, obviously they're gonna try
to get the fucking race and they'retrying to have a full fucking card go
through before obviously mother nature pisses allover us. You get my point.
But they're not there to just liketry to sweep things under the rug or
(09:22):
anything like that. And obviously theythey oh they own pit passes or and
shit like that, so if theydo rain checks, do all that stuff.
But if a track actually tries toget a racing, shut the fuck
up. Jesus Christ. They're doingthe shit that you want them to do.
And then when it rains out,you guys can't be mad because it
rained out. I mean, whatdo you guys want them to do?
(09:46):
Just do hot laps and then fuckingfeatures. We can do that and make
way better racing, And I'm forit. You guys get three laps hot
laps and then features, figure itout. Oh, it'd be a fucking
it'd definitely be entertaining because in asphaltracing, I still don't understand why we
need four hours and twenty seven fuckingset the tires to figure out why we're
(10:09):
running eleventh in the fucking feature whenit comes around. Get my point.
Obviously people make adjustments to obviously getthe winning car that year, that day,
but you get there's a lot ofwasted time, there's a lot of
wasted expenses that we can cut backand stuff like that. And obviously I'm
not someone that's gonna say I ifI own a race, jer I do
(10:31):
that. I think it's a suggestion. If there's weather, inclement weather coming,
fucking hot lapse and features, thereyou go. If we don't get
it in fuck we tried, boys, or we'll just sit here and try
to not lose the track and fuckingget your guys's features out there. You
know what I mean. It's oneor the other, but the biggest thing
(10:52):
is like just a bunch the armchairracers and stuff like that, myself included.
I was a part of that someyears. I mean there was one
year manad Knock that we ran forweekly points and whatever the fucking class is
called. That dear rained every weekend. I think we ran fucking seven races
out of the eighteen that we weresupposed to do because it rained so much.
(11:13):
And I was frustrated because I waslike, oh, fucking the week's
good, let's start racing on Wednesdayor Tuesday, and you know what I
mean. So I've been there myself, But now being on the other side
of it, it's more of afucking catch twenty two for the race owners,
racetrack owners, and obviously the sponsorsfor the night and stuff like that.
I mean, you're gonna go andsponsor a night at the racetrack and
(11:35):
it rains out, fucking sucks. They want to be able to have their
night. Obviously, racetracks want tohave a full card race and not three
feeder divisions, and then they haveto fucking call you know what I mean.
So you guys got to see iton all that stuff. So I
know there's been a little bit ofbacklash on that stuff. About obviously inclement
(11:58):
weather, but there's nothing that youguys can really do except unless we go
Dome race and everybody has to weara fucking oxygen tank and then we'll try
to figure it out from there sowe don't all get CO two poisoning.
We Other than that, the weather'shere. The weather is a thing.
It does ruin fucking racing sometimes. That's my only suggestion, inclement weather,
(12:18):
fucking three hot laps and then fuckingfeatures figure it out in the feature.
Bump up the features all maybe fiveor five laps so they can get the
first five laps figure it out.But you guys get my point, you
know, So other than that,um, as I turned the ringer,
(12:39):
that's the only one thing that Iwanted to get through out of there.
But yeah, no, the KyleBusch night was cool. It was cool
to meet Kyle. And we obviouslymet him at a bad time because he
had to get ready for the raceand stuff like that, but cool dude.
Everybody swarmed the fuck out of himanytime he tried to do anything,
so he just sat in the carmost of the time. He had a
decent piece he called three, butthat that that feature he was just dog
(13:05):
shit. And I'll just say itwas fucking dog shit that set up.
Whatever he had just to loose, burned the tires up that or the thing
was just loose. He went intothe pits four times trying to figure it
out, and it was just dogshit. Almost went a lap down.
That's a bad day when when theNASCAR guy shows up and he's very talented,
(13:28):
and anybody that knows Kyle he's talented. So and then he goes and
he tried, he tried, likeal but that set up was fucking dog
shit. So it is what itis. Fucking water under the bridge now
because fucking a couple of weeks lateron that but Saturday, we were gonna
go to uh Star, but Starmoved up their time, so act and
(13:52):
passed. They moved up their times, which conflicted stuff that we already owned
up to to go and do.So we went and did that, like
we said, but we were gonnatry to get both in if they still
started at the same time. Actrace. They had controversy at the end
with Jimmy Renfrew absolutely moving Gabe Brownout of the way for his first act
(14:16):
went up twenty twenty four. Obviously, there was a lot of yelling at
Star Past. They had Derek Griffithand I was on and I still am
on Derek's side. I get hewas using them up, but holy fuck,
how many times? How many lapsare you gonna wait for the guy
to try to figure it out whilethe top four is waiting for him?
(14:39):
And get my point, He's justtrying to go And I mean, I
talked to everybody involved in and obviously, if you can't give him a lane
up top, then he's just gonnafucking use the rear end of you.
And if that's the case, thenthat's what it is. But if DJ
actually just did the same thing thatDerek was doing for the past five fucking
(15:00):
laps, waiting for DJ to eitherfigure it out or get the fuck out
of the way, I get he'strying to win the race. Don't get
me wrong, I'm not losing sightof what he the fuck he was doing.
I understand what he was doing. But at the same time, if
you're getting moved, you're getting movedfor a reason. And obviously some racers
get that and some racers don't.And man, there was a lot of
(15:24):
commentation. If you went to highside. I was like, well,
the guy's running the fucking middle lane. He can't really go to the high
side of the guy because anybody that'sever raced fucking Star there's no grip up
top, and yeah, there's justnone. There's really not. Some guys
get it to make it work, but it's it doesn't stay there for long,
you know what I mean, Anddeep in the field, deep in
(15:46):
the race. Obviously tire fall offis the fucking thing. But he had
to run down the back and Idon't know how many times he let DJ
collect it after absolutely getting his nosechopped off by him. But to that
be said, people just thought Derekwas racing dirty, and Derek's never raced
dirty in his damn life, andhe'll race you aggressive, but it's nothing
(16:08):
malicious or anything like that. Yeah, they run three or four times and
just didn't get the room and didn'tget try to go to the high side.
Guys running the middle doesn't one ofthe fucking We watched the fucking race.
Wherever I was, I was stillwatching the damn races, So just
a punt job back. That wasthe only thing that I was like,
what the fuck? I was like, well, I guess that's what it
(16:29):
is. And obviously they they exchangedwords after the race, and after seeing
the replay, I would understand whyDerek was pissed off and all that shit,
and I get it, and Ialso get DJ side getting annoyed by
getting moved up and moved out ofthe way. But I get that you're
(16:52):
trying to win the race, butsome days it's not just not your day.
So punting the fuck out of theguy after he just finally finely made
a door to go, it wasjust fucking just fucked it. But yeah,
so but you get my point, you know what I mean. Yeah,
So that was that, And Igot a lot of backlash about that
(17:15):
shit, and we just put itup as like we get why Derek's mad,
we understand why DJ did it,but at the same time, like
what the fuck? And we gotbacklash a little bit, and then it
was just split fifty to fifty downthe fucking comments and people are gonna have
their comments, and that's okay,And like I said, if if that's
your opinion, I will respect itand go about my life, and you
(17:37):
should do the same fucking thing, believe it or not. But obviously I
had the hate messages and the cryingepisodes and all that shit, and it's
adorable just that. I don't Idon't care what shirt you wore to choke
yourself to sleep at night and raffleoff some knuckle kids whoever's racing shirt.
(17:57):
At the end of the day,we just called it flat out, straight
up. So obviously that's our opinion, and there's that. But I appreciate
the hate mail. I loved that, sent a lot of people hearts back
or kissing faces or shit like that. We wouldn't have anything to talk about.
(18:17):
If DJ did the same thing backDerek, we would just call it
hard racing right there. But whenyou take the tires off the ground and
ship them out and is what itis. I guess Derek should have done
that ten laps before and just absolutelycleaned the dog shit out of them.
I don't know whatever. The peopleare their own maker of the shit out
there, you know what I mean. So it is what it is.
(18:41):
So yeah, I know, Leetoo. Great tidbit I got to hear
was the driver say that glad thecar went well and even though with all
the drama this year, and obviouslyhopefully that driver obviously understands all the drama
that has happened this year is becauseof that driver, and he made good
on it. The next Fallen Fryriday, Uh, this past Friday, we
(19:03):
went up to Claremont. We enjoyedour time up there. Oh, I
skipped over NASCAR. NASCAR, wedidn't even go so I had boone NASCAR.
If you ever been to NASCAR isnot the place for a two year
old, and if anybody would known. So we just hung out and just
did what we needed to do forthat weekend and enjoyed our time with Boom.
(19:25):
But LJ came up and he wasHe showed up at Lee. We
had fun there. Sam showed uptoo, so back to Yeah, we'll
just go back real quick. SoSam Messick came up. We sponsored him
to come up here and bring bringthe car from Waterford up. So great
to see Sam and all the allthe people that from Waterford and just to
(19:47):
have a great time at the endand watch fireworks and all that shit.
Even with the rain delay that happened. LJ came up. I won three
beers. Shout out to Joey deRyron for winning me beers. You started
deep in the field, so Ipicked you. I was like, ah,
he's pretty good. Long run.So we got him and he won
(20:07):
me three beers, so I oweyou three beers. But nonetheless, yeah,
so we had fun doing that. They came up, they went and
tried up here, great shout outcame in P two Andrew Harmon got bounced
for aluminum lower control arm in therear or both of them. I don't
know if it was one or two. I only I only heard him one,
(20:30):
but I was wondering if it wastwo. But you get my point.
So yeah, but yeah, So, like I said, we went
up to Claremont. Enjoyed it,enjoyed it. What the fuck is that?
Enjoyed? Well, backtrack a littlebit here, because now we're trying
(20:53):
to do this. See, thisis why I should do this every week
and not fucking wait on other fuckingpeople to figure out their fucking life here.
Uh So, NASCAR Weekend we didn'tgo because obviously boone a lot of
recks in the Mod Mod race thatwas definitely not needed. John McKenna,
Andy Seiss, fucking all that.Andy Seys got fined for flipping Austin Beers.
(21:18):
The bird we all chipped in andpaid to fine for Andy. Obviously
you don't really see Andy get animatedthat much, so it was obviously rightful
for him to be doing that.If he is doing that. Uh but
yeah. So at the same time, LJ got arrested for being drunk in
(21:38):
public. Again. Whoever the fuckcalled the cops on some guy sleeping?
You need to stop going to NASCAR. This happens everywhere. Just let him
be. If they're not dead, you're good. Keep it moving. Who
the fuck calls cops on someone sleeping? I want to I want to know
where he was found and then whowas around, because I'm gonna find who
(22:02):
did it and never be near thembecause they suck. They must be the
worst at fucking birthday parties. JesusChrist City ordnance fucking things pinned up on
their fucking fridge making sure everybody's notshooting off fireworks the fourth of July and
shit like that. That's that typeof person. Fucking horrible. They're not
(22:25):
dead. Keep it moving, youknow, we got a call it caught.
So anyway, James was like twotimes a legal limit a three not
three, but two times a legallimit, a little about point three over
double the legal limit that night andUh. Yeah, so we had to
try to figure that out. Uh. Shout out to Andrew Hills for going
(22:47):
to get him mad at the drunktank after he finally came under the legal
limit, got arrested last night, was bailed out at like six pm when
he finally came underneath the legal emit, so he was toasty. So we
got to see LJ and stuff likethat, and obviously had the whole crew
(23:07):
together and all that stuff, soit was cool to do that. And
yeah, so yeah, that's whatwe did that day. Sunday was a
wash. I believe that day,Friday, Friday of this weekend, because
I don't know if this was twoweeks ago, a week ago, I
can't remember. We got to startdoing this right after ah. But yeah,
(23:32):
so this Friday we went up toClaremont. We went and enjoyed people.
We went and handed out Miller Killershirts. Appreciate everybody that did order
do the pre order all that stuff, for all your donations and all that
stuff for obviously Aaron and obviously meputting them together. So we appreciate all
you guys for doing that. Wehave another shirt order coming for that,
especially after Friday Night's fucking bullshit perusual, but at the same time time.
(24:00):
So yeah, we went and enjoyedClaremont this Friday with every with obviously
the Ache and crew and all thoseguys. So Outlaws had triple triple twenties
for their thing puer stocks, theyhad ridge runners, six shooters, sports
(24:22):
and mods and obviously super streets. The first lap of the first segment,
half a lap of the first segmentfor the Outlaws, Jeff Murray and Guy
Karen took each other out down thebackshret. Guy was definitely not clear down
the back and just kept going up. So they all enjoyed the grass paps
(24:45):
that heads out into the pits togetherwith significant obvious damage for all that,
but get a point, you knowwhat I mean. So that was that
was spicy. I was watching theguy behind them fight his loose car and
turned to the left and obviously theywere all parked together and I was like,
damn, like that's different. Soyeah, so that that happened.
(25:11):
Cole Littlewood went on to win thatrace. Outlaws Segment two, Guy Karen
and Jeff Murray went back to whatthey are we're doing all this year,
and that's battling each other. Theyfinished first and second. In the second
segment, Cole came in third, and then Cole Littlewood came in third again
behind Guy Karen and Jeff Murray.Uh, but with obviously the first melee
(25:33):
that happened in the first lap halfa lap in the first segment, Cole
Littlewood walked away with the win, which is awesome because that's an act car
with just a hole cut in thehood and a big, big wing in
the back that was still three inchesshort of what he needed to have,
So big congrats to Cole Littlewood.Over there, David Smith picked up the
(25:56):
win in the Pierce Sox. Adrian'sMyth came in second, Amy j Cox
third, Kyle Kenny fourth, andKeegan Taber rounded out the top five.
For the pure stocks out there,Adrian came on strong late, uh,
battling his way up to second. So congrats to those guys. And it
was a hell of a race,uh Ridge runners Uh. Jesse Cludier picked
(26:23):
up the way, Aida Way Whitesecond, James Rhodes third, Jesus only
we drop everything here, drop mybeer, We're all right, uh,
James Road third, Richard Morocco fourth, and Seth Drone Uh fifth For that,
(26:45):
So that was pretty much uh dry, to be honest, them hopefully
that class gets bigger. It's gettingthere. They're trying to do all that.
They kind of get those guys upand all that stuff. So,
uh, we'll leave that one tothe And so Nathan Wenzell went and talked
to him for a little bit beforethe features obviously rolled out. Hell of
(27:07):
a guy with a tape measures keptmeasuring the same damn gas stick twenty seven
fucking times just to make sure hehad enough gas for the feature and all
that shit, but picked up thewin. Hayden Grinning your second, Bradley
Sahensky came in third, Tyler Larryfourth, and Andrew Martell round out the
top five for the Sportman Mods SuperStreets. Brandon Gray picked up another win
(27:30):
at Claremont Motor Sports. Part puton a clink for the most part,
but crystall in Quist gave him arun for his money for a little bit
and then obviously faded back just atad, but Brandon Gray picked up the
win. Crystalline Quist came in second, Matt Sondhalter with his freshly new mustache,
(27:52):
came in third, David Green slipfourth in Joe Tatrow rounded out the
top five for the Superstreets, andlast but not least, the six Shooters,
which was the only controversy that wehad it up at Claremont's Speedway was
obviously Aaron Aiken and Steve Miller Jr. They don't get along same with Senior.
(28:14):
They don't like her because she usedthem up at Lee and least she's
pushing them out of the corner whenshe was making contact with him. I
still don't understand why they were mad, other than she brings a good piece
every week. Anyway, the caseis, we're handing out shirts that day
and Miller, these guys they've alwaysknown, been known to go low.
(28:34):
And obviously there's new traits happening andall that stuff. Great with the video
and all that stuff, and whatI saw infield, there was no reason
for why he tried to fucking putthe car to the outside of Aaron knowing
that he was better off the corner, which I will give him to go
underneath, which she always did tohim all the time. Tell you guys
(28:56):
this, I don't know if itwas on purpose, and I'm not gonna
say it was on purpose. I'mnot I do not believe it was.
I think it was a racing incident, but it was also a racing incident
that didn't need to happen, especiallywith the history that they all have being
competitive six shooter drivers. I guesswe should say. I mean, Aaron
goes and runs different divisions and allthat stuff and puts on the clinic there
as well. So but you getmy point. Aaron never had a fucking
(29:19):
problem with these guys and all thatstuff, so they just kept flipping her
off and shit like that, whichI don't understand how that's good for anything,
but anyways, fucking kid put itto the outside. Obviously, the
situation that you don't need to fuckingput yourself in right reared Uh, Aaron
Aiken put her in the front stretchwall, either an accident or not,
(29:44):
still was an avoidable incident that didn'tneed to fucking happen. But you get
my point. Uh, But yeah, so yeah, that happened, and
like I said, he's still thebiggest cock blow of six shooters, that's
for sure. But at the sametime, if you know the history and
you do do that shit, obviouslypeople are not myself, people are gonna
(30:07):
look at it and be like, what the fuck, why what is that
needed for? And stuff like that. If anything, she's lifted your tires
off the thing, her whole rightfront stoved you still didn't think you did
anything wrong, And obviously no oneis gonna take fucking action for the shit.
So I'm all for fucking controversy andrivalry and all that shit, but
(30:27):
people are gonna get their shit totalsoon, and it's only gonna come to
a head real quick. And I'mjust gonna let everybody know that. That's
why it happens, especially in theshipbox divisions. No offense to anybody.
Everybody understands what I'm saying there.I raise a shipbox myself. If you
do take offense, fuck you.You get my point. Obviously that we
(30:51):
all put our same time into thesethings, and obviously not the same amount
of money, but at the sametime, still the same time, still
the same all that stuff. Soif they want to continue, Aaron and
all those guys are pretty good toa bloge to play along with the whole
show. But at the same time, it wasn't needed stupid. Honestly,
(31:12):
it was the dumbest shit I've eversaw. I get that you got the
run, But I mean, you'renot there and there in containment seats and
there's no spot mers and you hitmy point, you know, Okay,
you really have to be at someone'sdoor to actually make that thing clear.
(31:32):
But I think that it was justa racing incident. Was it stupid?
Fuck? Yeah it was. Sohe'll probably not think it was dumb.
He probably thinks he's a great ideawho cares regardless of the fact. Nothing's
gonna fucking happen. Pretty usual,so we'll just see what happens next weekend.
But at the same time, itfelt bad for Aaron and all that
stuff, having the right front stoved. I've never had a problem with the
(31:56):
aching crew. I don't know whyso many people fucking have a problem with
her or the crew all together, other than she wins in a female or
whatever it is. Yeah, she'saggressive, but if she's pushing me out
of the corner, I would definitelylove a person to push me out of
the corner so I know they're fuckingfaster than me or had the better run
(32:16):
to me then into the corner, because then I'm like, oh, okay,
cock blow is fucking just die bombingtoday that's awesome, you know what
I mean? So I get it. But yeah, so yeah, that
was that. Yeah, yeah,I mean Thompson raced. I heard all
(32:39):
the top three street stocks got theirball joints taken. I don't know if
that's right or wrong or why.I haven't seen fucking shit. It's always
the Connecticut places that don't fucking putout anything. Brian Roby got fucking tossed
from Sea Konk for a motor andhe he's going back and forth with try
(33:00):
Track. So that was a greatfucking write up and obviously read for myself
while I was at work. Yeah, so yeah, what else happened?
See, we're not gonna have muchbecause it's just it's just just me,
(33:20):
you know what I mean. ThunderRoad they had their Myers contained a triple
Crown night up at obviously a goodold thunder Road street Stocks. Josh Lovely
came in first, Trevor Jakes second, Zach Odett with a hell of a
run, came in third, deAnd Switzer fourth, and Parker Gage probably
fucked that up. Around out thetop five for the street stocks, Marcel
(33:44):
Gravel picked up his first win oftwenty twenty four. I believe. Scott
Dragon came in second, Chris Robertsthird, Brandon lamp Here fourth, and
Cody Blake around out the top fivefor the Late Models Flying Tiger same same.
Sam Karen was lights out three secondlead to the win for the first
(34:07):
leg of the triple Crown for theMyers Container Flying Tigers whole thing. Brandon
Gray came in second. Sean Flurry, who has been out of a race
car for some time so that's coolto say, came home third, Logan
Powers fourth in. Jason Pelke roundedout the top five. Road Warriors heat
(34:29):
race. Don't understand why the fuckwere punting people in heat races? Then
mad that we got black fag forthe heat race, because then if you
just punted the guy you got rightreared into the first turn, then you
were doing burnouts while it's red flagbecause you just put that guy firewall into
the turn on whatever the case mayfucking be, just dumb. So yeah,
(34:52):
so Bert Duffy though picked up towin our favorite potato. Nate Brienne
came in second. I don't knowwho was third because it says Tyler Wheatley,
but he finished fourth, so we'lltry to figure that out. I'm
sorry whoever did finish third for thatnight, but yeah, I mean,
(35:12):
we're just trying to figure this shitout. Obviously, we'll bring you guys
as much content as we can.You guys have been absolutely lights out for
this stuff, no doubt. Andat the beginning of this we listed off
obviously our sponsors up of the Roughand Vendors podcast that did that does help
(35:35):
us out. But at the lastbut not least, well not last but
not least, but our sponsor forthis episode alone is The Races Honoring Racers.
Guys. H came to us toldus we we gotta drum up some
some buzz for the the Racers HonoringRacers race that is happening at Star Speedway
(36:07):
July sixth, and the second oneis gonna be at Claremont September one.
Each race is seventy six hundred towin in a thousand to start and they're
planning to start twenty four cars forthat stuff. Some of the entries is
(36:29):
wood he pick At, Jeffrey Battle, Matt Hirshman, Brian Ruby, Ronnie
Williams, Todd, Patnode, alist of other people, probably Teddy Hodgen
will try to be going for thatand all that stuff. So it's gonna
be a great race. And theseguys have been doing this for some time,
and we went to a couple oftheir races, the Racing Guys and
(36:50):
the Mike Parks in Deepeat Motorsports Promotions. They're doing the twenty twenty four Challenge
Cup, so they'll have shirts obviouslyat Star Speedway and Claremont both July sixth
and September first of this year.Like I said, seventy six to win.
I'm sure there'll be a couple loanrace heroes from obviously those tracks that'll
(37:15):
try their bet best bet against someof the heavy hitting modify drivers that we
do have up here in the Northeast. But this is a great thing all
together. We appreciate them sponsoring thepodcast episode this week. Great dudes got
the talk with Steve and all thoseguys for a little bit before obviously doing
all this stuff. So I'm sorryit was just me. Hopefully James could
(37:38):
have been here next time, butlike I said, I'm not gonna wait
around for people anymore. I gotto put out content for you guys to
enjoy. I appreciate everybody that doeslisten to us. Appreciate everybody that did
buy a Miller Killer shirt. We'llhave more coming We'll have more shirts coming
out and stuff like that if youguys want to buy those. We're just
(37:58):
enjoying the summertime, raising our kid, enjoying what we can in and out
of race, and just enjoying ourtime. So I'm glad I could do
this. I know it's gonna bea short episode because usually when I talk
to myself, I really don't wantto do it for long, and I
usually just skip out a lot ofshit, and it's not on purpose.
I just get nervous and don't wantto fucking talk about most shit. But
(38:20):
you get my point. Appreciate everybodythat does help out with the podcast.
Do appreciate everybody that does listen andall that stuff. So thank you guys
for listening. We'll catch you upon the next one when we have it.
Thank you.
