fucking episode that we have here. This past weekend, we
went over to New River as James was a big
fan of and helped out our buddy Sammy Pachitt because

right there. Yeah, that was good. It's not about it
at work. I was like, I fucking try to figure
it out. But yeah, So we went over to New River.
I showed up late, got to sit at the pitgate
thing to where they allow us over and nothing's going on.
I'm like, hey, can I cross? He's like, you gotta wait.

I was like, for fucking what what are we waiting for?
There's nothing on the track. You have late models lining
up for fucking tech, So can I go. He's like, yeah,
they said it was okay. I was like, thanks, love
that place. So the organization's great. Well, I get it
to try. And I'm not saying it like that. I know, stop,

I'm not saying it like that. I was just confused
what he said. No. I was like, why what I do?
Why can't I why can't I cross, But yeah, no,
we went and helped out Sammy and uh yeah, I
mean we had a bad fast car. He brought a
bad fast car. Like I even looked on Facebook Marketplace
right after. I was like, I need that for a

I've had a stick shift, but even being an automatic

Yeah, and it was fast. I'm glad they took out.
I guess like the competition was really bitching about they
have a breakout rule at New River where you can't
go under a certain time, and all the competitors were
complaining about it all year. So for this big they had,
it was called the Bomber fifty two b fifty two

bombers Erase, it was fifty two laps. You did twenty
five and then you got ten minutes to check stuff
on your either your nice car, your junk box, whatever
you decided to bring that day, and then you went
back and did another twenty five laps or will it'd
be like twenty seven. So yeah, they all did that,
and then they saw Sammy's name on the list of

drivers in and commence bitching. Like straight up, everyone just
don't Sammy does it right. We've had him on and
we talked about it before. Where you know, there are
certain rules where it's like, oh, two grand's the max
and all this. Well, if you find a car that's
under two grand, that's you know, hit a deer or

hit a tree or but it's a nicer car and
you do the work to make it raceable and driveable.
I mean that to me is fair. It's fair game.
There's a lot the divisions are you either have the
nicer cars and the people that work on their stuff,
or you have the guys that pull it out of
the woods every weekend and use the practice to get
the leaves out. I mean there's literally two kinds of

people in this division, and it does cause some bullshit.

Well yeah, but I mean to be fair. When I
looked at race monitor and he was like a second
and a half faster, I was like, God damn dude.

We were the only ones that literally we had temp Gage, tire,
temp Gage, we had all your people. They run it
like it's an actual race car because they are still
racing and it's just embedded in a well you get
what I'm saying. Like they race it like it's a
late model almost.

They they scale it at home. They do all that,
and they try things, and that's what you gotta do.
You went in at the shop, not at the track.
So and you know, I'm one of those culprits that
pulled the car out the woods on the Friday night
to go to Wake County. I knew I would like yeah,
like that. I knew I wasn't gonna like win. I
was just out driving having fun.

Hell, I got a couple of thirds and a couple
of fists, and I thought, I thought it was a
fucking amazing you know what I mean, it was awesome.
Most of the time. I just showed up to have
fun and hope maybe something happened where the top five
would get wrecked and you'd be able to come out
on top.

But I do say they need to just have a
split the division and have like a B class where
it is nothing. You know, you can have a car
that you just pull out the woods and have fun with,
and then have a class where you can have like
the nicer cars but still kind of be in any
car class, because that's what it's called. It's called any car.

So you know, have that class where the guys want
to actually work on them, but some of us can't
afford fucking late models. I mean, that's just that's just
the truth of it, you know. And if you're doing
it all out of pocket, it's hella fucking expensive. I mean,
the Thanksgiving Classic that's next weekend at Southern National, it's
pretty pricey and you didn't win them much unless you're
in the late model stocks. Like, it's it's just, you know,

they didn't have the breakout rule because we would have

because you know how hard that would be to be
that slow.

What was it like in nineteen a nineteen seconds or
like it was either fucking eighteen one.

I know when they first did it was like twenty,
but then they kind of gave it a little bit
because cars were getting faster.

I mean I get it, Like those cars are fucking fast.
Like he's even got a fucking automatic track. The wole
fucking thing with them steerwheel with a you just hold

But so we had fun. I mean, the other the
good part about the whole night though, was that late
Model race.

The Model race was good. I mean, it was clean
and green.

It was cool because you watch these guys, they're trying
to save tires. A one hundred and thirty one lap race,
last three quarter track, like literally the leaders were almost
two of them and they were just cruising. You had
guys that were they take off on the outside because

no one everyone's being easy, and they'd pass three cars
around the turn and then they'd get to the lead
and then they try to slow down and another car
would do it, and it got really good. Then we
had that one. I don't remember what the caution was for.
Shout out to the forty seven. I'm just gonna say
now that dude went lat one dragon frame sounded thing
like the thing too for forty two. Yeah, he was

scraping frame. Sounded like thing was on fucking seven cylinders.
And that dude was just driving his heart out the
whole time. And he mean he was up to the
top five.

He was doing good. Towards the end of it.

Were literally like that would be if the leaders would
have just like raced as hard as they could and
they stayed like the would have got lapped like it
was close.

Yeah. So the thing is is like they didn't have
a mandatory fuel stop, So this is why they weren't
saving tires. They were just saving fuel because.

was one hundred and thirty one lap race. Typically what
wasn't set in the driver's meeting that they ran out
at like one. Yeah, so like halfway through, like the
half of the race, I wish it was on like
a streaming things.

So they do it there, they do it their own.

Oh that's right, yeah, they do so, but like for
like most of the race, you could see that people
were just like sitting there and then what was it
like it was like lap it was the one when
Riley Neal when the stack up happened.

That was like thirty nine. The second attempt at lap
thirty nine to go, thirty nine to go.

whoever was in front of Clay Jones spun him, and

Was doing good until he hit the inside wall and
then it messed it up a little bit, but he

clean race too, which was the best thing about it was.

seven of them in one group, and then you have
like a second and a half two seconds out, there'd
be another group that was big and they were they
were getting a little after it but saving at the
same time. Yeah, they were all all over each other.
And then you had Lapsovich and what did you say?
His name was krant Krantz, And I mean Lapsovitch and

Krantz both actually got in a wreck, but we didn't
get we couldn't see it. Doing so well, which comes
back finish is fourth.

I honestly, I think they were doing driver intros, I know,
but like they did that, I think they had some
g SPOCKX races which we didn't go over there.

on the right rear because it was a little bigger,
