(00:00):
And my mamma died shortly before Ileft for Iraq in two thousand and five,

(00:03):
and when we went through things,we found nineteen loaded handguns. They
were now the thing is, theywere stashed all over her house, under

(00:29):
her bed, in her closet,in the silverware drawer, and we wondered
what was going on. And itoccurred to us that towards the end of
her life, Mamma couldn't get aroundso well. And so this real old
woman made sure that no matter whereshe was, she was within arm's length
of whatever she needed to protect herfamily. That's who we fight for.

(00:50):
That's American spirit, it right there. Jd Vance, Senator Ohio. And
of course now the nominee for VicePresident of the United States is Night three
of the Republican National Convention, andit culminates tonight with the main event.
Not just Hulk Hogan, not justElon Musk. We've heard Dana White,
Eric Trump, but of course theDonald DJT. He will be speaking tonight

(01:11):
for the first time since the assassinationattempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, last Saturday.
And joining us now live for Milwaukeeis Mandy Connell. She's been there
all week Mandy Bark twice. Ifyou're in Milwaukee, Bark Bark. I
am in Milwaukee right now. Weare headed to the airport because our show
is done and we got to flyhome because a Rod's got to work the

(01:34):
morning show in the morning. SoI am going to be watching Donald trump'speech
on TV with the rest of you. And where did you hear Elon Musk
because he's not on the list thatwe just got not too long ago.
I know, I know, Ispeak too, and I've seen that that's
been culminating online. It's been reportedby various sources. But I guess we'll
see. There's been a couple ofDonald Trump promised surprises this week, and
I think he's delivered in some ofthose. He promised that to Brett Baer,

(01:57):
what was maybe a surprise for you, either throughout the convention or last
night in particular. Well, youknow, I don't know if there were
surprises necessarily. Jdvance delivered a perfect, I think pitch perfect speech that laid
out his responsibilities in the campaign.I mean, how many times had he
mentioned the swing states last night?Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania. One of
my favorite moments was when Ohio. The Ohio delegation was doing their oh hi

(02:23):
oh chant, and he looked athim and said, hey, enough for
the Ohio. Look, we haveto win Michigan too, which I thought
was very clever, and you know, it was just a really good line.
So one of the things I wassurprised about is how relaxed jd.
Vance was last night. His wife, who I think is perhaps going to
be a tremendous asset, had alittle bit of a deer in the headlights.

(02:43):
Look, you know, they justfound out what ten days ago,
not even ten days ago, thathe's the nominee, and then she's up
in front of millions of people givinga speech about her husband. I mean,
it has to just be mind blowingwhat is going on. But you
know, the surprise for me hasbeen the discipline of the Republican Party on
messaging this week. Very few peoplehave gone off the sort of prescribed unity

(03:08):
and humanized Donald J. Trump standard. It's been very, very disciplined the
entire week, and it's just beenit's I gotta tell you, this is
like, this is like the biggestPEP rally in the world, right,
and the fact that it was aPEP rally for my team, which just
made it so fun. It justmade it so fun, Ryan, And
now I'm fascinated to see what's goingto happen at the DNC and how that

(03:30):
looks different because we are today onthe media floor that Biden is probably stepping
down this weekend. Now that's allrumors and conjecture, but if that happens,
then everything at the DNC is justgoing to be wild wild and Mandy
County gus line from Milwaukee's side ofthe Republican National Convention. But you had
on a keyword there. And I'veheard this throughout the coverage that I've been

(03:50):
watching on Fox News and Scott Jenningssaid it on CNN. He got repped
up. He's a gen xer likeus Hulk Hogan speaking tonight. Are you
kidding me? He got damped andwas so hoping we would see him on
the media floor and we did not. He was so bummed out. I
was like, yeah, but it'sbringing kind of a little bit of fun,
yeah to the event. You know, he's bringing bringing a little It's

(04:13):
not your mom's Republican Convention. Ithink overwhelmingly that's the takeaway here from from
the messaging. Having Doug O'Brien, that was a shocker, having Doug O'Brien,
the president of the Teamsters, givea scorture of a speech on Monday.
I mean the messaging has changed, the party has changed, and you
talk about opening up the tent. That's what happened this week in my opinion.

(04:34):
Yeah, and again that word Katebold Ann, who's got like RBF,
she's pretty icy for CNN even shewas responding to Scott Jennings energy going,
I don't even need a five hourenergy at this point. You're providing
it right here because there's enthusiasm,Mandy, there's optimism, there's unity to
your point, but there's fun.And I don't know how the Democrats can

(04:55):
counter this, can even fake it, because you know they'd be faking it
if at their convention they're trying tocounter this with some kind of optimistic,
soaring rhetoric, unifying message. That'snot what they're built on now, I
think, and I was talking toBuck Sexton about this. Their options are
all bad, right There are nogood options on the table right now.

(05:17):
You're going to have civil unrest inthe party if you nominate anyone but Kamala
Harris. We all know she's adisaster. So they're looking at their prospects
and going, Holy crap, thisis what we've got. We've got to
find the right VP. A lotof people today were talking about Gretchen and
Whitber. As a matter of fact, I heard Tutor Dixon saying that she
thought it was going to be GretchenWhitmer. I don't see two women at

(05:40):
the top of the ticket. Ryan, I just don't think America is ready
for it. And I know itwould enthusiastic, like the base would go
nuts, but I just don't thinkpeople are going to be comfortable with that.
The one name I would keep aneye on if this change does go
down, I'll tell you why Ithink it won't in just a moment,
and that'd be Josh Shapiro, theDemocrat governor. Pennsylvani has handled this shooting
very well. He's been magnanimous,he's been kind of meeting the moment and

(06:02):
talking about Corey Contemporary, the firemanwho was killed. But the reason I
won't think this happened, and maybeyou had this conversation with Buck Mandy,
is because switching out going through allthose mechanics and histrionics and mental gymnastics just
to get to Kamala Harris, thepolling showing she's not doing any better.
In fact, she might be doingworse. So why go through all of
that as a party if you're aDemocrat, if it's not a net benefit.

(06:25):
I just don't see the reason todo that at this point. They're
trying to save the Senate and winthe House. Yeah, right, And
Joe Biden is such a drag onthe down ticket ballot that they cannot afford
to allow him to be at thetop of the ticket. They simply can't
because it's going to absolutely annihilate them. I mean, we could actually see
feasibly, because there's some really toughSenate races going on right now, and

(06:48):
we could feasibly see a fifty sixmajority, fifty six senator majority for the
Republicans if it stays as it isright now. And I think they have
less of a chance of taking theHouse. Obviously they're a little further behind,
but they're desperate right now to savethe seats they've got, and they
cannot do that with Joe Biden atthe top for two reasons. Number One,

(07:10):
he's a drag. Everybody knows thatthe Republican or the Democratic Party has
been lying to them about this man'scondition. So there's a little bit of
bitterness and distrust there. But secondarily, the fundraising has completely evaporated, like
there's no money coming in. Smalldonors know big donors are done. So
if they're going to get money intothe DNC, they have to put somebody

(07:30):
else at the top of the ticket. And that's somebody else. I think
Buck Sexton's right, it's got tobe kama They can't bypass her, and
if they do, they got alot of problems Hornet's nest really if they
do that. And again, I'mgoing to go back to what you and
Buck were talking about. It's bad. It's bad with Biden, there's no
doubt about that. But just whenyou think things are bad, they can
always be worse. And once Kamalais exposed and we truly get a deep

(07:51):
dive on her history and she triesto debate Donald Trump face to face,
it will be a disaster. Ithink there's a vast majority in the minds
of the country that will never votefor her. I think it get worse.
But to that point, Mandy, just to kind of let you go
here at the fifteen minute mark. But for Donald Trump tonight, a lot
of what we heard over the lastweek, and you saw it firsthand,

(08:13):
was how subdued he looks, howstoic he looks. He just looks the
humble, humble he looks. Butalso he's been invoking God, he's been
having a conversation with somebody like FranklinGraham, who speaks tonight as well.
How much of that do you thinkhe will lean into with this speech,
and what do you expect, whatdoes he need to do well? I
mean, you know, I don'tknow. And honestly, Ryan, I've

(08:33):
had so many conversations with so manypeople this week. I don't know if
I've already said this on your show, but after the assassination attempt on Ronald
Reagan, he was very open abouthow that strengthened his faith and his relationship
with God significantly, So it wouldnot be outside the realm of possibility when
you, I mean think about howhow carelously close Donald Trump was to I

(09:00):
mean it millimeters away, and thatbullet is in his brain. He doesn't
turn his head at the moment,So yeah, I think he really believes
that this was divine intervention. Nowwill it stick, I don't know,
But right now, I think theman seems very very changed, and it's
going to be very interesting to seewhat happens tonight. I mean, I
can't wait for this speech. Icannot wait to see this speech and see

(09:22):
exactly what he says. He's scheduledto speak for an hour and a half,
so we'll see what happens tonight. But I think that this is going
to be a different guy than we'veever seen before, and it's going to
be shocking, and I hope it'sshocking in a positive way. It'll be
electric, it'll be emotional on thefloor there at the RNC in Milwaukee,
and certainly it's an important time forDonald Trump to maybe redefine a different trajectory

(09:46):
for him, for the perception ofhim. And it's a very important speech
for America because, as Mandy Iagree, we need Donald Trump to win
in November. Mandy, great stuffall week. We so appreciate your time
in joining us from Milwaukee. Safetravels home, Talk to you soon,
all right, I see tomorrow.Rne. All right, Mandy Connell,
right there, you can listen toher weekdays over on KOA from noon to

(10:07):
three. You can subscribe download herpodcast as well. I would encourage you
to do just that. Get someof your text five seven, seven,
three nine. Let's go there rightnow, start those Ryan, if you
would. I'm jealous of this,Texter Ryan. I went to WrestleMania three
and four as a kid. Itwas amazing. Yeah, there was you
had to buy the tickets by phone, and I was this close and Kelly

(10:28):
can see I'm holding my fingers likea centimeter apart to talk, and my
dad into it. My mom kindof buckled and folded, and they didn't
spend money on stuff like this.So my brother and I, you know,
WrestleMania three. The reason I'm sayingthis was in Pontiac, Michigan.
It was at the Silver Dome.It was historic, and it turned out
the crowd was the largest indoor crowdin history, I believe, for any
event. So she goes, well, go ahead and call the number and

(10:52):
see how much tickets are. I'mlike yes, So I call the numbers
like a nine to seven six numberif you remember those, and the recording
said that there were tickets available, but they were going to be like one
hundred dollars each, which doesn't soundthat bad now. This was nineteen eighty
seven. One hundred dollars was aboutlike three hundred dollars now, when Kelly's
saying maybe four. And when Isaid that to my parents, like,

(11:15):
ah, sorry, Ry, youknow, we just can't can't afford it,
and I didn't get to go.I'm still kind of sad about that,
but I watched it on pay perview afterward. I don't know,
Ryan, let me see here. You think somebody with the German name Wagner,
like Wagner would have second thoughts aboutdescribing somebody else as an rosie.

(11:37):
There were quite a few Wagners fightingfor aol Adolf Hitler. I think when
I'm mistaken, Wagner was Hitler's favoritecomposer. Could be wrong on that.
Maybe somebody fact checked me on that. Fact check true or fact check false.
Ryan, empty attic of a brainshriveled human. Yet you brag about
how nice you are. First ofall, I don't think I brag about
how nice I A. I'm notthat nice, ask Kelly. Kelly,

(12:01):
Well, it depends, it depends, right, It depends I can be
nice. You have your moments.I'm a human. What do you want
from me? Well, yeah, you know, you also are hurt like
a one man band, and soyou can get away. Well there's and
I don't want to bring that inthe equation, But you're right. I
mean, I you know, I'mflawed. What I'm going to tell you,
I'm nice to people who are niceto me, But I'm not going

(12:22):
to be nice to people who wishdeath upon my president or celebrate the fact
that he was shot, or wishthat the shooter had had better aim.
You want me to reconcile with peoplelike that, No, I'm not going
to do that. And to thepoint about Biden, is there anything I've
said about Joe Biden that isn't true? Fact check me on that he's a
jerk, he's awful, he's ana hole. Talk to Tara Reid,

(12:43):
talk to anybody that's worked with theman. Talk to Clarence Thomas about Joe
Biden. Watch that documentary. It'sphenomenal. Gotta do it. Let me
see correction. Here's one. Here'sa fact check. One person the Biden
administration was fired. The fake transwoman, pop play fetish boy woman impersonator
talking about Sam Britton that stole ladiesunderwear and dresses off the airport baggage carousel,

(13:09):
although I'm not sure what the officialreason was that they then was given
the pink slip. That's from Jaredand Boulder. Kelly, Well, I
don't think he actually was fired.I think he left. I think he
was forced out like a resignation.Yeah, yes, but no, the
fact that Lloyd Austin wasn't fired afterthe Afghanistan withdrawal or anybody at the military
leadership. Something went wrong there. There's got to be some kind of accountability.

(13:31):
There wasn't, So we're gonna holdJoe Biden accountable in November, and
then this this Kim Cheatle after theSecret Service breakdown. Like I said,
had the bullet been an inch tothe right and Trump had had his head
blown off, she'd be fired, right, She wouldn't have a job anymore.
All the circumstances are the same, except the shooter just missed. So
she keeps her job because of theshooter's aim. No, and if the

(13:52):
target had been Joe Biden, godforbid, don't want that clipped his ear.
Do you think she still has ajob today? If it were Joel
Biden. No, she's gone, she's punted at the moon, or doctor
Jill Biden for that matter. AndKim Chetle was hired because doctor Jill Biden
liked her. Let's go to thereceipts. These are almost the most fun

(14:13):
part of the show. Remember Joescarburin, Now, if you're a lib
out there, you have lib friendsand they watch Morning Joe, ask them
why, Just ask them why, because if you're lied to. This was
four months ago, March twenty twentyfour. Joe Scarborough looked in the camera
and said, this, start yourtape right now, because I'm about to
tell you the truth and f youif you can't handle the truth. This

(14:37):
version of Biden intellectually, analytically isthe best Biden ever, not a close
second. And I've known him foryears, the presentskis have known him for
fifty years. If it weren't thetruth, I wouldn't say it. Okay,
well it's not the truth. Hehasn't been called on it, he
hasn't apologized for it. So againI'm trying to figure out the liberal brain.

(15:00):
Here, help me walk with mehere. You've just been lied to.
Your intell intelligence has been insulted, and you're going to continue to watch
this crap because here's Joe Scarborough today. When you're told by members of Congress
that they're losing, they're going tolose the House in the Senate if he
stays on the ticket. When you'retold by members of Congress who have seen

(15:24):
the polls that you're losing swing statesand that your numbers are going down in
swing states, in states like Virginia, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Minnesota
are now in play. And whenyour top fundraiser over the past five,
six, seven, eight years istelling you the money's gone, the donors

(15:46):
have all gone away, you know, it's really incumbent on people that are
around Joe Biden to step up atthis point and help the president and help
the man they love and do theright thing. Okay, the right thing

(16:07):
is to honor the will of thevoters who voted for Joe Biden in the
primary. Yeah, I'm going tostick up for Joe Biden a little bit
here. Read James Woods, agenius of a man, one of us.
He had a brilliant take on this, and I completely agree with it.
Why would you usurp the very foundationsof our democracy. Why would you

(16:30):
cancel the votes of millions of primaryvoters Democrats, your own people. The
only reason that Joe Scarborough gave himthat one minute diatribe was that Biden's losing.
Since when was that a criteria toremove a candidate from the ballot,
a sitting president of the United Stateswho had viably won his own primary.
You know, then Dan's gonna saywith primary, Well, they had it,

(16:52):
the Democrats held a primary, JoeBiden won it, the voters voted
for him. So you can't justwilly nilly decide that the powers that be
within a party. This where Danand I really disagree, and there's some
elements about Dan. He's monarchal. He believes that there's some kind of elite
class that should make decisions for us. I really repel against that. That's

(17:15):
some bs And I'm not going toallow the Obama monarchy to anoint from on
high and their ivory tower, todescend amongst us pleaves and tell us dictate
to us or dictate to the Democrats. No, no, no, no,
we have a better idea of whoyour candidate should be, and it
will be Dame Michelle Obama key keyto the fo with that crap middle of

(17:41):
the country, Americans are not goingto go for that, and they're not
going to vote for that. Timeto check in with Master Services, Master

Find out more online. Go toMassuter dot Plumbing. That's Master Ruter
Dot Plumbing for Master Services. Tellthem Ryan Center. So you have essentially
the entire elected leadership of the DemocraticParty telling him to get out. And

(19:14):
in response to all of this,Biden, the White House has said put
out a statement in response to eachone of those stories. The President told
both leaders he is the nominee ofthe party, he plans to win,
and he looks forward to working withthem on an agenda for next year.
But George, I just don't seehow it is tenable for Joe Biden to

(19:37):
continue as the Democratic nominee president andDemocratic nominee in twenty twenty four when all
of the Democratic leadership is telling himvery bluntly and very directly that he should
get out of the rank. JonathanCarl, ABC News, it's a tale
of two parties at this point. The Democrats in disarray, the Republicans as
united as ever, and joining USNow to talk more about it. She

(20:00):
is the author of Finding My Place. You can find that on Amazon.
You can follow her on x atElizabeth Pipko. She is the RNC spokeswoman.
She joins US Now Ryan Schuling onsix point thirty K. How Elizabeth,
Welcome to the show. Thank youso much for having me. Now
what you just heard, and it'skind of building we're hearing at the RNC

(20:22):
the possibility of Joe Biden dropping outof this race. Now, if I
judge this in a vacuum, justJoe Biden, He's never leaving this race.
Is there any amount of pressure youfeel that could drive him out of
this race? You know what's funnyme? My answer as of yesterday was
absolutely not. I can't see ithappening. I don't think he would do
it, like you said, Idon't think he wants to let go of

(20:42):
that power. And I also don'tthink the Democrats have any other options.
I think constitutionally putting in Kamala wouldbe very difficult unless he also just actually
stepped down from the presidency. Ialso think they have other ideas for candidates
and want to avoid a brokerid convention. Kamala's numbers, obviously, her approval
ratings are even worse than President Biden. So I didn't see it. Now,

(21:03):
I think with knowing how these peopleon the mainstream media are talking about
it, knowing apparently that Barack Obamahas told them it's time to go Nancy
Pelosi as well, out of theshift. It's something I didn't expect,
but it seems as though we areheading in that direction with the leadership of
the RNC. Elizabeth, it isvery evident to me watching this convention what

(21:23):
changes have been made. You cantalk about the party platform, but to
me, it's more about the presentation, the magic that you present to the
public and the undecided voter that mightbe tuning in with Michael Wattley and Laura
Trump yourself at a spokeswoman for theRNC. These intentional changes that you've put
in place for these four days. What was the vision for that and how

(21:44):
was it executed? Yes, soI like how you asked this bically about
undecided voters, because I think alot of people don't realize that's a lot
of who this convention, excuse me, is for obviously, we are here
bringing the party together, and we'reproud to be here united as a party.
But we know that people are watching, They're hopefully watching with an open
mind, and they're watching as independentsand Democrats and as undecided voters. So

(22:06):
for us, it's about letting themknow that most of what they've probably heard
about this party and about Donald Trumpis more than untrue. We want nothing
but the best for all Americans. We want people to realize what can be
if we are unified as a nation, how strong we can be, and
how successful we can be as individualsand as a country. And that's what
we're trying to prove here. That'swhat the magic, truly is. It's

(22:26):
people realizing that we are actually notas bad as people think we might be,
and we want the best for everysingle American, regardless of their background
or political affiliation. Of course,President Trump speaks tonight, that will be
the highlight on everybody looking forward tothat after the events of Saturday. Elizabeth
Pipco is our guest. She's theRNC spokeswoman at the RNC in Milwaukee.

(22:48):
When you look at the week sofar, Elizabeth, to this point,
what has really jumped off the pagefor you stood out as a highlight and
maybe one you weren't expecting might actuallybe the same for both. I think
the unity that I have felt hereit's something that has certainly stood out,
but also something I wasn't expecting, maybe because it's my first time at a

(23:08):
convention, or maybe it's because thingshave changed so much after that assassination attempt
on Saturday. But it's just feelsas though everyone has moved past these last
two years of division. We've justdecided to put that aside, put the
country first, put our souls first. The fact that we are all humans
who want the exact same things, even if we have different ideas for how
to get there. That's putting on. That's what we're putting first, because

(23:33):
I think we realized what can bewhen things get too dangerous, when things
get too divided, when things getsimilar to what we saw on Saturday.
Right, So for me seeing peoplethat I know might disagree with me on
certain things, even though we're allpart of the same party, sitting here
completely united, completely excited for thefuture, knowing that we're all on the
same page, and what matters tous now moving forward It's been incredibly special

(23:55):
and even surprising, because I didn'tknow how good that could feel, right,
I didn't know how magical the feelfor all of us to kind of
see Donald Trump, by the way, kind of stand up on Monday and
walk into the arena, that wasunprecedented. People didn't know what was happening.
He obviously was forty eight hours afteran assassination attempt, and we were
all just so happy he was okay. At the same time morning for the
life that was lost on Saturday,at the same time excited for the future

(24:18):
for this country. It's a millionemotions at once, but it feels as
though we're all finally on the samepage. Could not agree more. Elizabeth
Pipco, our guest RNC spokeswoman fromAfar. From a distance, Elizabeth watching
on TV, A lot of ushave noticed a visible change in Donald Trump.
And I don't mean that necessarily asa knock on him. He just
seems a little bit more subdued andfocused, and perhaps this experience has changed

(24:42):
him in a fundamental way. Haveyou sensed that, either in your interactions
or observations of him at this event? I have you know, you're not
the first person to say it.Everyone I know has actually said something like
that, based on either interactions withhim or actually just seeing him and his
expression walking out into the arena theselast two nights and everything we've heard from

(25:03):
him. Look, I don't knowwhat it's like to survive in assassination attempts,
but I can only imagine it changesyou, right I feel like a
changed person just knowing that I witnessedthat on Saturday, knowing that I was
watching the screen and not knowing forabout a minute there if he was okay
or not, if we had losthim or not. I feel like a
changed person. I'm sure his familydoes as well. I know that they
do, so I can only imaginehow he feels right now. And I

(25:26):
think for a lot of people, what I keep saying is the most human
side of Donald Trump is going tocome out now. I think that's actually
his best side. And it's alsoaside that I have told people for years
is his best side, and theymight not have seen it because of the
way he's portrayed in the mainstream mediabecause of what they may have heard about
him. But I think after Saturday, this is the perfect moment both for
the country and those that may notsupport him just yet, and for him

(25:48):
to come together in really just humanemotion, because this is the darkest point
that I've seen for our country andquite some time. I'm sure most would
agree with that, and only inthe darkness can you truly the light again,
right, So I'm excited for that, and I do think that he
is going to embrace the moment inthe best possible way that he can,
and we look forward to that combinationnight with his speech. Elizabeth Pipkow,

(26:10):
our guest RNC spokeswoman, We've seenthe list of speakers for tonight. We
know that the Reverend Franklin Graham willbe one of those, Dana White,
UFC, Tucker Carlson, Eric Trump, Hulk Hogan as well. There were
rumors, Elizabeth, maybe you canclear this up for us that Elon Musk
might be there tonight. Is thattrue? I have heard the same rumor
that I do not believe that's true, and he will not be here,

(26:32):
unfortunately. Though he has been incrediblysupportive and vocal online and in interviews,
and we're obviously grateful for his supportand anyone else's right, he seems kind
of like the most obvious choice forsomeone that could maybe encourage the undecided voters
to come over because he is sosimple and what he wants and what he
advocates for, it's just success andsafety for this country, much like Donald
Trump. So he would have beena great speaker. I don't think he'll

(26:55):
be here this evening, but Iknow that he will be very, very
helpful in the coming months. Speakingof that healthfulness from Elon Musk, Elizabeth,
this announcement that he made, andit was rather quick after this assassination
attempting, immediately endorsed President Trump hopefor his recovery and pledge an insane dollar
amount on a monthly basis to helpthe campaign. What specifically will the contributions

(27:17):
Elon Musk makes be going to inthe campaign? So I believe he's actually
getting to a specific pack. SoI can't speak on what they do,
but I can say that all theefforts that I know of when it comes
to our campaign and the RNC gotowards making sure people get out to vote.
It goes towards election integrity, whichis so important to a lot of
people. We have legal teams workingon that, we have volunteers that we're

(27:41):
recruiting working on that. We're goingto have an incredible operation of poll watchers
and poll workers and people coming togetherto make sure that they feel good about
this selection, right, Because theresult is important, but so is the
emotion that we all have when wewake up on November six. Because of
the United States of America, noone should have concerns about the election and
its integrity. So the money thatwe raise, the money the campaign raises,

(28:03):
all goes to incredible causes here andincredible things that we need to get
done so the American people can feelconfident in the selection and the efforts that
we are putting in for them, because we do answer to the American people,
right, and I don't want themto ever forget that. That's a
key point, Elizabeth, because there'sso many people in our audience, this
one right now that you're talking toin Colorado, which may very well be

(28:26):
a swing state. You may agreeor disagree with that, but a lot
of voters I've spoken to that arelisteners of this show. They have concerns
and they're a bit discouraged by whathappened in twenty twenty with the ballot harvesting
and the changing of the rules. What assurance can you give, What degree
of confidence do you have from theleadership on down that all of this type
of shenanigans that we fear, whetherit's Maricopa County, Arizona, Atlanta,

(28:48):
Georgia shutting down because of water mainLeague, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania notoriously corrupt,
Detroit, Michigan, my home state. There was some high jinks there as
well, Milwaukee where you are rightnow. These are areas of particular concern
in swing states. Can you describethat effort in a little bit more detail.
Yes, of course. So wehave countless lawsuits around the country right

(29:11):
now. It's over eighty lawsuits ongoingin the country in several different states.
These have to do with either voterid laws or mail in ballots for example.
Until when these mail in ballots canbe counted, there are countless efforts
going on around the country, bothto fight this kind of behavior, but
countless efforts going on to try torattle us as well and try to make

(29:32):
sure that these elections are not heldwith integrity, which is what we fight
every single day. I hope peopleknow that we do have legal teams very
committed to everything going on here.We have election integrity teams. We have,
like I said, volunteers that we'rerecruiting. We're looking to get one
hundred thousand. We want people aroundthe country knowing everything that's going on with
this election. Like I said,it is important to us, because it
is important to you. We knowthat Donald Trump cares about this, We

(29:55):
all care about this. But theeffort that's being put in here is not
specifically for Donald Trump. It's forthe people. We don't have a country
anymore if the American people do nothave hope and faith and confidence in their
elections, and that's very important tous. I'm glad you mentioned Colorado possibly
being a swing state. I thinkbetween our efforts and a cori Donald Trump's
incredible leadership, unfortunately also Joe Biden'sfailures, a lot of states are becoming

(30:18):
swing states. If you look atPoland in Nevada and Minnesota, Virginia,
New Mexico, New Hampshire, andeven Colorado. There are a lot of
states that are in play that wecould have never expected. So who knows
what happens to Colorado and what happensto the map in November. Very true.
Just one more question, Elizabeth You'vebeen generous with your time. Thank
you so much. Elizabeth Pipco ourguest. She is the RNC spokes one.
And that is your personal history,Elizabeth, because you and I share

(30:41):
something. I'm a first generation American. On my mother's side, they immigrated
here from Serbia was then Yugoslavia,a communist nation. Your parents are from
the former Soviet Union. You areJewish as well. Tell us about the
experience that's helped shape you into becominga conservative Republican and how you got there.
Love. Yeah, so I'm gladto share that. I don't share

(31:03):
that with too many people, soit's really nice, and people understand where
I'm coming from. So if Itell people all the time, I don't
feel even political, right, Idon't consider myself political, and I ironically
say that as the spokeswoman for thisparty. And that's because I'm doing this
because I love this country. Right, I don't think that this is political
for me. I have one partythat I believe stands for this country and
one that simply does not. Thiscountry has given my parents, my grandparents,

(31:26):
my family absolutely everything. I cango on and on. I'm sure
you and I can share stories abouteverything that our parents went through right just
to get here. My story,my parents' story, it's one that's extremely
sad, it's one that's extremely complicated, and it's one of thousands because so
many people will risk everything to cometo this country. My parents came with
ninety dollars each in their pockets. My father lost his father basically in the

(31:49):
process of coming here. I nevergot to meet my grandfather. They went
through so many trials and tribulations herejust so that I can have the life
that I have now. And Ithink when people tell me the American dream
doesn't exist, I say, excuseme, and my parents came here with
ninety dollars in their pockets, andI'm the face of the Republican Party,
So the American dream is alive andwell, you can do absolutely anything in

(32:10):
this country as long as we continueto fight for it. That's why I
do what I do, and Iwill never stop doing that because this this
country deserves that and so much morefor all of us. Very well said
and a true American success story. You can find her book A Fascinating Story
to Tell on Amazon, Finding MyPlace, Making my parents American Dream come
True? And yes I can relateto that. Elizabeth Pipco, RNC spokeswoman

(32:32):
Live for Milwaukee. Elizabeth, thankyou so much for joining me. I
look forward to the next conversation.Thank you so much. Hope he talks
in all right, Elizabeth Pipco,Right there, your thoughts, your response
five seven, seven, three nine. Start those texts, Ryan, I
will finish the show with them whenwe come back after this on six point
thirty. K ol Just but Godthe craped up and slipped away with I

(33:16):
think that that happened. Like misterTeal, who has named his companies after
things in the Lord of the Ringsseries of J. R. R.
Tolkien books. Lord of the Ringsis a sort of favorite cosmos for naming
things and cultural references for a lotof far right and alt right figures,
both in Europe and the United States. Peter Teele names all these things after

(33:37):
Tolkien figures in places, like hiscompany Pallanteer, for example, like his
mentor, like Peter Teel, whohad given him all his jobs in the
world. Mister Vance also, whenhe founded his own venture capital firm with
help from Peter Teel, named itafter a Lord of the Rings thing.
He called it Naria na Ar ya, which you can remember because it's Aryan,

(33:59):
but you move the end of thefront. Apparently that word has something
to do with elves and rings fromthe Lord of the Ring series. I
don't know how did people watch thiscrap? I mean, honestly, that's
Rachel Maddow implying that if you readTolkien, if you like Lord of the
Rings, you're far right. Sothat's why I played that version that excerpt
from ramble On by led Zeppelin.I guess Robert Plant and therefore Jimmy Page

(34:23):
and the whole band are far right, which I'm glad to hear, quite
frankly. But there are all kindsof Tolkien references in Robert Plant led Zeppelin
songs, just erroneous on its face. I don't know what Robert Plant's political
leanings are. I would suspect thatthey're not toward mind. But Rachel Maddow,
the more desperate this race gets, the crazier crap you're going to hear

(34:46):
from her. From Joe Scarborough,Mika Brazinski Joy read it is a carnival
of clowns and in joy the show. That's all I can say. My
thanks to Elizabeth Pipko for joining usin the previous segment. Mandy Connell as
well this hour. Enjoy Donald Trump'sspeech tonight. We'll talk about it tomorrow

(35:09):
here on six thirty. K out
