(00:00):
Why do you think you can't wina November. I just think this race
is on a trajectory that is veryworrisome if you care about the future of
this country. Joe Biden was ninepoints up at this time. At the
last time he was running, HillaryClinton was five points up. This is
the first time in more than twentyyears that a Republican president has been up

(00:20):
in this part of the campaign.Donald Trump is on track, I think,
to win the selection and maybe winit by a landslide and take with
him the Senate and the House.Wow Senator Michael Bennett, Democrat Colorado with
Caitlin Collins on CNN, And thequestion that immediately came to my mind as

(00:42):
I was watching this jaw agape RyanShuling with you six point thirty km was
why, of all people are Caspermilk Toast hiding under the desk senator who
never says anything? Really, MichaelBennett? Why him? And why now?
I mean, the angriest in themost I've ever seen Michael Bennett get
was on the Senate floor, wasgetting mind ted Cruz and it was getting

(01:04):
really upset, and he sounded likea counselor. Mackie on South Park.
I mean that is the Michael BennettI remember. And then suddenly he's outed
because Caitlyn Collins cites Dana Bash anda private conversation behind closed doors that Bennett
was having with Senator John Tester Montanaand Senator Shared Brown Ohio. But which

(01:29):
of those three is not like theother? It's Bennett. Bennett is not
running for reelection. Tester is inthe fight of his life against Tim she
in Montana. He's probably going tolose. And Sharrett Brown has a pretty
tough race on his hands in Ohio. I don't even know how a Democrat
wins in Ohio anymore. So whyBennett, of all people, and why
now joining us to help make senseof it all? Representative Lauren Bobert she's

(01:53):
there in Washington, of course, she represents the third congressional district. Now
she is running in the and totake the torch from currently Sworning Congressman Greg
Lopez. Lauren, welcome back,Ryan, It is great to be back.
And you know, I did watchthat interview last night on CNN with
Caitlin Collins and Senator Bennett, andI got to say he's absolutely right.

(02:16):
Trump is on track to win andwin in a landslide, and he's going
to take the Senate and the Housewith him, and that's exactly what we
want now. It's interesting because Ihear a lot of the Democrats speak off
the record and in these closed doormeetings or in the halls with no reporters

(02:38):
around. And even during the debate, I had a couple of Democrats text
me directly saying we are going tolose twenty House seats over this. This
is really really bad. We're evenseeing progressives lose their primaries to moderate Democrats.
And that's not even just the faultof Joe Biden was for the debate

(03:00):
even took place. It is theirpolicies. Because people have lived under President
Trump's policies and they have lived underJoe Biden's policies, and you have real
life experiences that show you life wasbetter, easier, for more prosperous under
President Trump than it is under JoeBiden's over regulated bureaucracy that is destroying everything

(03:27):
that hard working Americans are building eachand every day. Looking at the race
itself again, I'm trying to solvethis puzzle as to the Michael Bennett part
of it, Lauren, And thefirst thing that jumps out to me is,
yeah, he's concerned about losing thebattle in the Senate control of the
Senate. He is a senator, that's where he resides. But when we
see these leake polls, Klay Travishad this from Puck News internal polling from

(03:51):
Democrats showing that Virginia is a deadlock, Minnesota is tied, New Hampshire is
actually favoring Trump right now, NewMexico is in play. The next dominal
to fall on this electoral college board, Lauren, is Colorado. Do you
believe Colorado was in play for DonaldTrump? I have always thought that Colorado

(04:12):
could be in play for President Trump, especially the egregious things that have taken
place directed at President Trump. Peopleare tired of a weaponized federal government.
They're tired of a Democrat Party thatgoes after their political opponent and tries to
disrupt quote democracy. In Colorado,Jennet Griswold was the first one to take

(04:34):
President Trump off of an election ballot, and that outraged a lot of people,
and of course the Supreme Court rightfullyoverruled that. But you know,
I think that's the point that youare highlighting here we have Senator Bennett,
who is speaking up, you know, who doesn't often give his opinion,

(04:55):
especially on you know, someone likeChristian or Collins show, and you know,
he's speaking up. But I wonderif that's to help these Democrat congressional
candidates in Colorado. You had AdamFrish come out and say that Joe Biden
should resign, that he should notbe the Democrat nominee. And I'm wondering

(05:17):
if they are looking at this pullingand saying, we don't have a senator
on the ticket this year, butwe do have these congressional races. Colorado's
eighth congressional district is a toss updistrict. I believe Dave Evans can win
that his opponent, who is currentlythe incumbent, she only started voting bipartisan
lee this year because it's an electionyear and she understands that the voters are

(05:42):
not wanting this extreme agenda that theyare seeing from the Democrats. But just
real quick, I've kind of goneon a long time here without letting you
ask a question, But I wantto say, like, what what can
I say to my colleagues on theother side of the aisle other than I
told you so, right, Ryan. Republicans have been saying for years that

(06:03):
Joe Biden is an incompetent leader, and I can't believe it's taken them this
long to realize it. From lyingabout meeting with dead European leaders at the
G seven to saying in an interviewthat he was proud to be the first
black woman to serve as vice president, the saying that his uncle was eaten
by cannibals, and and this hasbeen the most corrupt cover cover up job

(06:26):
Biden administration since Sdr hiding the factthat he was in a wheelchair. This
is absolutely extreme and is a nationalsecurity crisis. But I've called for the
Oversight Committee to subpoena Kevin O'Connor,And this is important. This is the
Biden's White House doctor, and Iwant him to answer about his quote clean
bill of health, that he hasbeen complicit and in this fraud of of

(06:53):
a of a presidency. And weknow that the commander in chief is absolutely
compromised. And so what's terrifying aboutthis is that our allies and our adversaries
are also seeing this, and Americalooks weak and the world is less safe.
With Joe Biden in charge. It'sa great point you make up at
the house races, and she's inone. Representative Lauren Bobert joining us currently

(07:14):
representing the third district, running inthe fourth against Tricia Calvarisee, and when
you look at kind of a risingtide lifts all boat scenario, Lauren,
I think you astutely pointed out thatthat court case with regard to Trump even
being on the ballot, that manypeople in the middle, unaffiliated voters here
in Colorado may have been severely agitatedby that move that was draconian, that

(07:35):
was fascist, and try to takea candidate for one of the major parties
off the ballot so voters didn't evenhave him to choose from. I think
there might be a lot of spiteout there. There's definitely an enthusiasm gap
between our side and the Democrat sideright now, and it's a race that
clearly is becoming Donald Trump. Trump'sstrength versus Joe Biden's weakness. When you

(07:59):
look at all of those aspects inyour own race against Trisha Calvaresi in the
fourth, how do you think itimpacts that race? Well, First of
all, Ryan, who I don'tthink that this is much of a race
in the Cholera in color of fourthCongressional District. Uh, the fourth district
does not want a progressive Democrat representingthem. We have seen how extreme that

(08:24):
they will go, especially in Colorado. Just five years ago, our state
was so much stronger than it isnow. We had a better economy,
we had better jobs, and wehad more freedom and less regulation. And
so this, this Democrat track thatwe're going down is something that is being
widely rejected through throughout our congressional districts. And that's why the eighth district is

(08:50):
such a toss up race and DaveEvans has has a great chance at winning
that. So I'm certainly not goingto take the fourth district, being a
largely Republican district for granted, ButI'm also going to do my part to
ensure that we take the eighth,we hold the third, and help these
other folks who are in tight racesthroughout the district. But you know,

(09:13):
going back to the ballot issue andpeople seeing this fascist move, to this
dracronium move, as you say,to remove a candidate from a primary ballot
and disenfranchised voters, well, wewere shouting at that time. If they're
doing it now to this candidate, they will do it in the future to

(09:35):
other candidates. And the very partythat's running on quote saving democracy wants to
now disenfranchise millions of voters on theirside of the aisle who showed up and
voted for Joe Biden. Like, you can't make this stuff up. The
Democrats had made their bed and nominatedanother loser. Really, and I can't

(09:56):
wait for President Trump to end thisentire thing victoriously with his third election.
When for president, Representative Lauren Bilbertjoining us, curious to get your take
on this. Lauren, do youthink Joe Biden will remain as the nominee
for the Democratic Party up until theelection? Well, Brian, we want

(10:18):
him to be the nominee. Idon't want him to be the president because,
as I said, this is anational security issue. You know,
this is why I'm not opposed toChip Roy introducing the resolution to invoke the
twenty fifth Amendment. We have seenJoe Biden's cognitive decline, and now even

(10:39):
Democrats are admitting to it. EvenJake Tapper is over and over again giving
examples of how embarrassing Joe Biden's dailyperformance is now not just at the debate,
and so for our country's sake,Joe Biden cannot be anywhere near the
White House. But also, Idon't want go up against someone else in

(11:01):
this election. You know, ifif they bypassed Kamala Harris, which would
really be a shot in the footfor them, because this is their black
diversity inclusion person that they have putup to be vice president and would bypass
her for what maybe a young whiteGavin Newsom. You know, that kind

(11:22):
of goes against the entire DEI brandof the Democrat Party. But Joe Biden
has, you know, said thathe's staying in the race. There are
some Democrats who are still saying thathe should remain in the race. But
then you have the Nancy Pelosi's ofthe world saying, well, it's up
to Joe, and whatever happens,we're going to support that. I think

(11:43):
it disenfranchises their voters and it's justanother chief shot by the Democrat to try
to prevent election interference just four monthsbefore an election and and further confused voters,
rather than sticking with the guy thatthey've been running this entire time.
Lauren I know you've had some issueswith Speaker Johnson asf I, but I

(12:05):
think one brilliant move that could beright on the horizon, and I spoke
about this with Greg Lopez yesterday ashe arrived at Capitol Hill is to introduce
this Save Act to be voted upon, the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act that
would ensure you would have to havea government issued vot voter ID in order
to participate in our elections, andmake the Democrats vote against this. Put

(12:28):
these senators like John Tester, sharedBrown, if it makes it over to
the Senate, make them vote againstit, or make Joe Biden veto it,
because I don't see any rational argumentagainst this bill, do you?
Absolutely not? Ryan. And Sobefore I was ever a congressional candidate and
had a thought of doing this job, I actually helped with petitions and gathering

(12:54):
signatures for a ballot initiative in Coloradoto safeguard Colorado elections, saying that you
had to be United States citizens tovote in Colorado elections there at a state
level. Now, that initiative didmake it to the ballot, but it
was voted down, maybe because wehad illegals voting in those elections, or

(13:15):
maybe Democrats or truly that extreme thatthey are okay with this kind of election
interference. And folks who are nullifyingAmerican citizens vote by allowing people who are
not citizens, whether they're here legallyor not. You know, there are
those still here on visas that qualifyhere to register in elections under these open

(13:39):
loopholes, and so securing this ata federal level saying only Americans can vote
in Americans elections, only US citizenscan vote in the United States elections.
This is the most common sense legislationthat we could pass. And it's actually
unfortunate that we even have to considerpassing legislation like this because it's happening all

(14:01):
throughout our country. So I wouldlove to get Democrats on the record voting
against this. I'm sure that wewill see many of them, if not
all, oppose this legislation. Theyhave already opposed a similar legislation for the
District of Columbia and also for thecensus requirements. We want the census to

(14:22):
have the number one question b Areyou a United States citizen? And the
Democrats all oppose such question being onthe census that takes place every decade,
and so they are showing all thetime they're true colors that they want this
voting block. They want the invasion, the human trafficking, the child trafficking,
the drug trafficking, the cartel havingoperational control of our southern border.

(14:46):
They want this taking place so theycan have that forever voting block that is
beholden to their party who granted themaccess into our country and gave them taxpayer
benefits. Representative Lauren Bobert joining usrunning in that fourth congressional district to succeed
now interim Congressman Greg Lopez, whowas serving out the rest of the term

(15:09):
for ken Buck Republican convention coming upin Milwaukee next week, Lauren, will
you have a speaking role or yoube appearing? When can people tune in
if you are. I did notaccept the speaking role at the convention,
but I will be there. Iwill be present, and I'm happy to
support President Trump, eager to seewho he chooses as his VP pick,

(15:33):
and I'm excited to move forward withthis general election and onto November fifth,
so we can have a real commanderin chief come twenty twenty five who actually
cares about putting the American citizens first, and having an America first agenda that
benefits us so we can then helpour allies throughout the world, because if

(15:56):
we continue down this course we're onnow, there is not going to be
in America to stand for our alliesas we have in the past. So
I'm looking forward to just reinvigorating theAmerican spirit here in our country, getting
the policies right that are currently hinderingAmericans from growth and prosperity, and just

(16:19):
unleashing our potential under this administration thatI hope will be sworn in in January
of twenty twenty five. From yourperspective, Lauren, and you may have
met and talked to many of these. I'm sure you have. Senator JD.
Vans Ohio, Senator Marco Rubio Florida, Governor Doug Bergham North Dakota.
And we're also hearing recently maybe GovernorGlenn Youngkin Virginia as maybe being on the

(16:42):
shortlist for President Trump. Do youhave a personal preference, you know,
I think that all of these folksare great in their own own way,
in their own unique way. Youknow. JD. Vance, I think
that he would be someone who isstrong as a Senate president. Right,
the the vice president is the presidentof the Senate. And I think that

(17:04):
JD. Vance could take a lotof the the roles that have been advocated
to Senate leadership and really have acommanding presence in those chambers, in that
chamber and uh and be able toexecute a lot of the duties that that
should be fulfilled by that role.Uh. These other folks have done great

(17:26):
in their own areas at at promotinglimited government and personal responsibility and freedom and
prosperity. But then there's also alot of other great names as well.
You know, Congressman Byron Donald,my friend out of Florida, is one
of those that I've heard floated around, and you know that he would be
a strong advocate and partner uh toserve alongside President Trump as well. So

(17:52):
I do have full confidence that PresidentTrump will make the right decision, uh
the most qualified. This isn't somethingthat is you know, I was a
position that he's going to choose justbased on gender or skin color or background,
but on who can actually execute thejob to their best ability that will

(18:12):
benefit America. Find out more abouther campaign Lauren for Colorado dot Com.
It's Lauren for Colorado dot Com runningin that fourth congressional district against Tricia Calval,
racing and trying to take that torchfrom Greg Lopez going forward. Lauren,
always enjoy our conversations. Have funat the convention next week. Thanks
so much, Ryan, Talk toyou soon, all right. Representative Lauren

(18:33):

humorous comments from Donald Trump as hewas at Derel, one of his golf
courses in Florida last night. He'sletting it rip. He's staying in his
lane. He's focused, he's disciplinedin his messaging, and he's running right
now a winning campaign. Back withmore after this. Ryan schuling on six

(18:56):
point thirty kow Okay, I'm lookingat the weather forecast and it's been adjusted

Ruter Dot Plumbing. That's Master RuterDot Plumbing for Master Services, and tell
them Ryan sent you. I Calleau. Dana Bash reported that you. Senator
John Tester and Senator Shared Brown allsaid during that launch that you don't think
President Biden can win in twenty twentyfour. Is that true? Well,

(20:25):
it's true that I said that, and I did say that behind closed doors,
and you guys and others asked whetherI had said it, and that
is what I said. So Ifigured I should come here and say it
publicly. Oh, No one cantrust anyone in Washington anymore. The media,
with their usual alliances with Democrats, normally they could say things off the

(20:47):
record, or they could bury detailslike that. But now that it's fashionable
to come out against Joe Biden orcriticize him or ask for him to be
removed from the ticket, the mediawas not going to spare Michael Bennett any
quarter. And again, I comeback to my conversation with Representative Lauren Bobert.

(21:07):
If you're just tuning in, youmissed it. We started the show
with her and it'll be on thepodcast. But you heard what was said
there, Shared Brown, Ohio senatordemocrat in a red state in a very
tough battle in this election cycle,John Tester in an even tougher battle against
Tim Sheehey and Montana that one's likelygonna flip. West Virginia's going to flip.

(21:29):
And there you go. There's theSenate, it's gone for the Democrats
and the Republicans take control. Soit would make sense that Senator Bennett would
be concerned. But he's not upfor reelection. John Hickenlooper's not up for
reelection. We don't have a singlestatewide race in Colorado this time around,
So why would Michael Bennett be theone to come out and publicly state this?

(21:51):
You could say, while he gotcaught and at least he's owning up
to it. I give him credit. He fest up, He didn't try
to deny it, but the factthat it was him. When I was
watching this in real time and Itexted both Dan and Kelly and me like
you got to see this, Isent a screenshot like why Bennett of all
people, and why now a senatorfor Colorado should be a safely blue state?

(22:15):
Right? Well, maybe not?And again here's the money quote from
Bennett when he's asked about why hethinks Joe Biden cannot win in November.
Why do you think he can't winin November? I just think this race
is on a trajectory that is veryworrisome if you care about the future of
this country. Joe Biden was ninepoints up at this time. At the

(22:38):
last time he was running, HillaryClinton was five points up. This is
the first time in more than twentyyears that a Republican president has been up
in this part of the campaign.Donald Trump is on track, I think
to win the selection and maybe winit by a landslide, and take with
him the Senate and the House andmaybe win it by a landslide. I

(23:00):
mean, Michael Bennett's not an overthe top type individual on any level,
So for him to say something withthat much gravity, you know he believes
this is going south and doing soin a hurry, final portion of this
quote again in a sit down interviewwith Caitlyn Collins CNN last night. For
me, this isn't a question aboutpulling. It's not a question about politics.

(23:22):
It's a moral question about the futureof our country. And I think
it's critically important for us to cometo grips with what we face if together,
we put this country on the pathof electing Donald Trump again. So
you're worried that your party is notjust going to lose the White House if
Joe Biden is at the top ofthe ticket, but that you're also going
to lose both chambers of Congress.I think that we could lose the whole

(23:45):
thing, and it's staggering to me. I mean, Donald Trump's already been
president. I thought he was theworst president that we've ever had. You
may think that, but the Americanpeople, Senator Bennett, think differently.
They could lose the whole thing, says Senator Michael Bennett. And he's not
alone. Here's a usual suspect inalliance with the President, Joe Biden.

(24:07):
I am deeply concerned about Joe Bidenwinning this November. That is Senator Richard
Blumenthal, who stolen valor claimed thathe served in the military during Vietnam.
In Vietnam, he lied. That'shorrible, but he's concerned. Another part
of this story, before we getto the Trump quotes that I want you

(24:30):
to hear, and I want youto listen. What stands out to you
about this quote from Chuck Todd NBCNews, formerly the host of Meet the
Press. But I had a cabinetsecretary two years ago, right, okay,
two years ago all out of theblue, asked me, do you
really think he's gonna he can't runagain like this? And I said,

(24:52):
well, you have more interaction withhim than I do. And they said,
I don't have a lot of interactionwith him. This is a pretty
senior cabinet secretary. So and thiswas two years ago. What stands out
to you about what Chuck Todd justsaid? Why are we only hearing about
this two blanking years after the fact, Chuck Todd, he just outed himself.

(25:19):
This is a mainstream media that isnothing more than a propaganda arm for
the left, for the Democratic Party, for the Biden administration. They were
running cover for him. He justsaid it out loud because that information would
be concerning, would it not hadyou heard it two years ago? But
he buried it. He didn't mentionit, he didn't bring it up.

(25:41):
Then again, ask yourself, whynot? Meanwhile, at Durrell in South
Florida, home to one of DonaldTrump's numerous golf courses, golf was the
theme. This is vintage Trump. This is the good stuff. I'm also
officially challenging Crooka Joe to an eighteenhole golf match right here underous Blue Monster.

(26:08):
Considered one of the greatest tournament golfcourses anywhere in the world, one
of the great courses of the world. It will be among the most watched
sporting events in history, maybe biggerthan the Wryter coup or even the Masters.
And I will even give Joe Bidenten strokes aside. Ten strokes that's

(26:30):
a lot. That means twenty strokesin case you don't play golf. I
will give him ten strokes aside. And if he wins, I will give
the charity of his choice, anycharity that he wants, one million dollars.
And I'll bet you he doesn't takethe offer. I would bet he

(26:52):
because he's all taught. That's theTrump. We want that breezy confidence,
that air of inevitability, not overconfidence, it's not arrogance. Tough on
the issues as he was into thedebate, but don't say anything to take
people's attention off of the Joe BidenHindenburg currently going down in flames. Keep
it light, keep it breezy, keep it positive, keep it focused.

(27:15):
Come up with something like that.It was Joe Biden in the debate that
challenged Donald Trump to a round ofgolfers. As long as you carry your
own backs, What do you sayabout that bell, Joe? Are you
going to be carrying a bag?How about one club? Could Joe carry
one golf club, the length ofgolf course. I don't think so.

(27:36):
So this is the contrast that we'reseeing. It's confidence versus insecurity of all
the Democrats. Its strength of DonaldTrump virility on one side. Dare I
say toxic masculinity of Donald Trump onone side, and weakness and withering and
fallowness and gray ashen deteriorated Joe Bidenon the other. That's the contrasts.

(28:00):
That's the winning message. We'll getto a moment of Biden. And there
are several intermingled when we come backafter this timeout, along with your text
five seven seven three nine, sendthose to Ryan. I'm asking you the
question today, why did Senator MichaelBennett come out and say Joe Biden cannot

(28:21):
win, not that he might notwin, that he will not win in
November? Why Bennett out of Colorado? And why now? Five seven seven
three nine Start those texts, Ryan, back with our moment of Biden after
this on six point thirty k howand now your moment of Biden with the

(28:44):
forty sixth President of the United States, Joseph R. Biden. This is
a moment when Norland on the dreamingscheeming screaming. You know, I come
from a household with the three betwe weren't poor, but we weren't nothing

(29:08):
left over the end of the month. And but you know, three bedroom
house, four kids, grandpap livedwith us, someone lived with us full
time. I look back now,I wonder how my dad handle us in
wolf. But anyway, the factis that so many of my my uh
will because this way, I'm verypleased to today all NATO members are making

(29:30):
the plate to expand our industrial base. President Truman said, quote, we
hope to create a shield against aggression, the fear of aggression, and permit
us to get on with the realbusiness of creating government and society and h

(29:52):
more minorities, more women, morelabor. I'm serious, think about it.
That's what we are, That's whywe're strong. What's okay? Now,
I got to explain that last part. What happened there was in a

(30:12):
gathering around the White House, anunexpected move toward the microphone by Joe Biden
was unanticipated by his staff. Sothat's why it's muddled. The beginning,
muddled the end. This was notpart of the script. He goes on.
Mike starts going off tangent on DEIstuff or whatever. Then they cut
the mic. Then they cut tothe dial tone that you heard. The

(30:34):
audio tone there just totally out. They unplugged the whole thing. And that's
not the first time that has happenedto Joe Biden. He's talking about thin
walls in his house, and youknow he can't get a Truman quote right
there. During this NATO summit thatthey're hosting, things continue to crumble for
Joe Biden's campaign. And coming upafter the top of the hour, Steve

(30:56):
Gruber, good friend of mine fromback home in Michigan. I would say
he's pre eminent conservative voice on radioin my home state. He has a
unique perspective on the race in thatall important swing state of Michigan, and
also his suggestion on who Donald Trumpshould choose as his vice presidential running mate.

(31:17):
So you won't want to miss that. Five seven, seven, three
nine, that's the text line.Let's get to some of those. Your
theory is as to why Michael Bennett, of all people came forward and said
Biden cannot win, and why nowFrandy says that Bennett might be the most
dispensable. Kelly, you had asimilar theory along those lines, I said
weakest. So Bennett being the weakestmeans what that he would be more likely

(31:41):
to go on and defend himself thanany of the other ones, So he
wouldn't just tow the line when hegot called out by Dana Badford and say
exactly okay. And he's also alame duck, whereas the other I don't
know that he's a lame duck.He can keep running if he's not termin
limited out as a senator, stillrelatively young. I call him a lame
duck just because I don't think hecan win again his record, doesn't you

(32:07):
know? Interesting you bring that upbecause I think we're at a watershed moment
here. And when I asked LaurenBobert earlier this hour Congresswoman Bobert about whether
or not Colorado's in play, shefirmly believes that it is. I think
it is, but it's on theperiphery. The reason I say that are
the other states as dominoes falling beforeit. States like Minnesota, like Virginia,

(32:29):
like New Hampshire, like maybe evenNew Mexico. Nevada's already gone,
and Nevada voted for Hillary and forBiden. They've never voted for Trump,
but they're going to this time around. It sure does look that way.
The next domino to fall would beColorado. I'm not saying it's likely or
probable or anything like that, butit's within the margin of concern for a
Democrat like Senator Michael Bennett and NewYork State. There's continuing anecdotal evidence,

(32:58):
polling data, in information and comingout of New York. This is a
single digit race in New York. Now, Donald Trump might still lose New
York by seven eight points, butthink about that. Donald Trump lost New
York by I believe it was twentythree points to Joe Biden twenty twenty.
If he only loses New York byseven or eight, that is a calamity
for the Democrats. It surely meansa national popular vote win because the anchor

(33:22):
weights think about it of California andNew York, with Los Angeles, San
Francisco, New York City, Buffalo, et cetera. They're weighing down that
popular vote number supposedly in Biden's favor, But New York it's on the periphery
of being competitive, and if youhave to spend money on Colorado and New
York and you're the DNC in thispresidential campaign. This is another reason why

(33:46):
I believe that Dan Kaplis's theory aboutpolling Joe Biden is faulty. There's about
one hundred million dollars waiting for JoeBiden if he becomes the nominee. That
can be transferred to one per person, and one person only. That's Kamala
Harris. If they punt the wholething, they go Gavin Newsom or Gretchen
Whitmer or even Michelle Obama. They'vegot to make up that entire deficit of

(34:08):
fundraising in less than four months. And if you're going to rehabilitate name id,
Gretchen Whitmer is nowhere near that levelto be able to compete nationally in
a race like that, she'd beset up for failure. Any advisor too
or don't touch that will run twentyeight. Donald Trump won't be on the
ticket. It'll be wide open onboth sides, including our own. We'll

(34:31):
have time to staff it, tobuild up to it, to campaign,
to get the dollars raised. Whowants to run a shotgun campaign in less
than four months be set up tofail lose, and then your entire legacy
is stayed from that point forward.I just don't see it as a rational
path from that perspective that standpoint. As I mentioned, my friend Steve Gruber

(34:52):
will join us next. I thinkyou'll find him very interesting to listen to.
He hosts a morning program in thestate of Michigan that airs between six
and nine am Eastern Time, sobetween four and seven am here we'll get
his thoughts on the race in thestate of Michigan, the status of Gretchen
Whitmer, and his surprise pick forvice president that actually makes a lot of
sense. Back with that after thison six thirty k
