No episódio do Tecnoversas desta semana vamos dar continuidade a série de programas sobre três projetos da Escola Politécnica da UFRJ que foram contemplados com o Selo ODS Educação 2024. A certificação reconhece a participação efetiva de organizações educacionais, públicas e privadas no alcance das metas da Agenda 2030, especialmente a ODS 4, que visa garantir uma educação inclusiva, equitativa e de qualidade para todos. Vale lembrar que a Agenda 30 da ONU é um plano de ação global, adotado por 193 países, que define 17 Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável e 169 metas para erradicar a pobreza e promover um futuro sustentável e mais próspero para todos até 2030. Neste segundo programa da série, vamos conversar com Osvaldo Rezende, professor do Departamento de Recursos Hídricos e Meio Ambiente e do Programa de Engenharia Ambiental da Escola Politécnica da UFRJ, que recebeu o Selo ODS Educação 2024 pelo projeto de extensão Planejamento Urbano-Territorial para Incremento da Resiliência a Inundações.O trabalho busca integrar soluções de engenharia, arquitetura, urbanismo e paisagismo para mitigar riscos de inundação na bacia do rio Piraquê-Cabuçu, na zona oeste da cidade do Rio de Janeiro.
