Speaker 1 (00:17):
And welcome back to the podcast Say It As It
Is with Brandon and Tyler. This is a special episode
remembering the life of Charlie Kirk. Today is his birthday.
He would have been thirty two years old today.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
And the Trump Medal Presidential Medical Freedom like given me
to Kirk's wife, Erica, God bless her soul. Yes he
has how much on her place? She's running two businesses and.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
Managed to two kids. Yes, oh oh boy, tough lady. Yes,
she's very tough, but she has the Lord with.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
Her indeed, but with uh Charlie, he wanted to be
remembered by one. I think it's better just to let
him say it himself.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
I want to be I want to be remembered for
for courage, for my faith. That would be the most
important thing. Most important thing is my faith in my life.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
And he indeed did want it to be remembered by
his faith. His faith book came first and always, and
it was his bedrock for all of his beliefs and politics,
even though a lot of his opinions could stand alone
without faith, because he did use a lot of reasoning
with it.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
Yes, So the thing about Charlie is that, like Brandon,
said he did put his faith before anything else. He was. Yes,
he was a controversial figure in the United States. He
was you know, just the liberals would say he was
a fascist, he was blah blah blah. He wasn't any
of those and he was just that. He was basically
(01:51):
just or as is the MLK of our time. MLK
got shot and killed for the same reason is in pretty.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
Much political reasons. Political reason says on his badge, although
apparently MLKA had some baggage with them on top of that.
But doesn't just about everyone.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
Well, everyone does exactly.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
And then well, well, well, of Charlie's things he shared,
I pulled up a audio clip and it's just him
talking about how diversity is most definitely not our strength
of You're talking about racial diversity, diversity, but diversity, intellect
and a couple other facets are definitely going to play
(02:36):
that quick.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
Is diversity a strength or a weakness?
Speaker 1 (02:40):
In your point of view?
Speaker 2 (02:41):
Weakness?
Speaker 3 (02:42):
And could you explain why that is? Well, yeah, I
think about it. If you're trying to run a sports team,
everyone has a different play about Well depends do you
mean an electual diversity, racial diversity, philosophical diversity, or cultural.
I think racial diversity is irrelevant. I think that intellectual
diversity is interesting and keeps a society vibrant and keeps
it on edge. I think cultural diversity can be interesting
(03:03):
but can be a big, big problem. For example, if
you import a bunch of people that don't believe in
free speech, and that's incompatible with the values of the West.
And so I think unity is our strength, not difference
as being our strength.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Like pre self explanatory, he also had he used to
not be a fan of the death penny, and then
he went into biblical reasoning and said that in back
in biblical times, if someone like wrongfully killed someone, you
could have the law take their life as well, and
(03:37):
it would be morally okay.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Yes. Remember also, Charlie was not a Trump supporter when
he first, you know, started getting into politics.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
Became one very quickly.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
He did become one, very very quickly, but towards the beginning,
he was not a Trump supporter. He was not a conservative.
He was I don't even think he was a Democrat.
He was a moderate.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Yeah, yeah, he was just kind of closer to the
center and he was still like more center right. And
even when he was life even said, between him and Erica,
who's more conservative? Erica by a mile.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
Oh yeah, his wife is more conservative. Oh absolutely. And
I don't know if you know how many probably millions
of people saw when she spoke at the Turning Port
USA headquarters. You could see that fury in her eyes.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
Yeah, it was that righteous fury and all the prayer
vigils that happened afterwards. Unlike George Floyd who had riots
because of his stuff, but and Charlie, everything was prayer vigils.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
And that's how you can tell between the left and
the right. The left try. I'm just saying this right now,
we're both pretty much conservative at this point. The difference
between conservatives and liberals is that liberals will cause violence.
They will start looting, they will riot, they will create fires,
they will call proubble for the police, all of them,
(05:01):
but a lot of them, the extremely okayer, Yes, the
extreme ones. I'm not saying everyone, I'm just saying the
extreme ones. Why, yes, the well, yes, the extreme right
can be fascists.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
And Nazis and you know, lunatics and lunatics, but white supremacist.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
Yes, we don't condone those actions.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
No, no, no, they're they don't deserve to be listened to. Actually, no,
you should listen to him and then talk to him
to explain to them either wrong, that's as far as
it goes. Their opinions don't matter.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
No, I also wanted to say that Charlie, we we
we hear you up there. We hear you loud and clear.
We're trying to get America back to where it was,
and hopefully you're rocketed it up there with the Lord himself.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
Well, it's like we know he's there because Martyr, Like
it's said that Martyr's automatically just go there.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
Oh no, I'm not saying he's not. Oh yeah, I'm
just saying saying that, you know, you know, hopefully he's
doing a really good job, right, you.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
Know exactly, And like post him getting assassinated, we've seen
how many different like universities like start up their applications
or start their own Turning Point chapters.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
Every five thousand people around the around the country have
started chapters at universities.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
And they're trying to start them up in high schools
even which is wonderful.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
Yeah. They even I read an article about this up
here in Wisconsin. They were trying to do it at
the middle school in Middleton, but the board said no.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
Yeah, it's like it's a non political Okay, it's like
there's it's political. Then organizations political in nature, but the
organization it self is a.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
Political or that doesn't matter to the board. Oh no,
it doesn't because everything's political.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
Yeah, just about everything on most of those school boards,
especially in places like Dane County or Hockey County, are
very very political.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
Like they're anywhere where it's blue.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Oh yeah, absolutely, And that there's enough going on like
wrong with education in of itself, like it used to
be more balanced, especially in more like red areas and
some purple areas growing up and even before we were born,
but not so much enough. I'm going to say this,
(07:28):
Oh say it, you know, I'm gonna encourage it, buddy.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
I think that for maybe the next five, ten, fifteen years,
the Democrats are screwed and they're not. They might get
the House back, but they're not getting the Senate order presidency.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
Oh until I tell you this news. You got a
court case going on that may potentially result in the
GOP game nineteen more house seats.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
Good. So you know, here's the thing I I know
America will never become a dictatorship. No, never. It might
become a one party country down the road.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
And at that point it's like do you flee, yes
or no? It depends on their values.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
Here's the organization. So what I was going to say
before that little little break there, I heard down the
rabbit hole of the liberals that, well, not even the liberals,
everyone that California. Have you seen the Prop fifty ballot?
Speaker 2 (08:37):
Oh no, I have not seen that.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
So if you select no on the Prop fifty ballot
in California, it shows who said no and they could
throw those out.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
Interesting.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
Oh and Gavin Newscomb said that he wants to make
California one party state.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
Well, it basically already is that.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
What does that say to you?
Speaker 2 (09:00):
It already kind of is.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
No, no, no, no. But what does that say to you?
Speaker 2 (09:04):
They're lunatics. We should just you should cut off the
southern two thirds of California plus Sacramento and let that
be its own country and then take the rest of California.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
And keep it till south and north California.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
No, basically the eastern portion of California and the northern
like third above Sacramento.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
Also, have you seen that there haven't been riots in
any other state besides California.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
There's only been riots in like blue states and cities,
especially over the n stuff.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
By the way, this weekend they're having another No Kings
riot in Chicago and around the country. And just to
protest ice, they're doing their job. They're getting the illegals
out of here. Yes, there might be some cannon fodder
in the mix, but they look at them and they
let these people go.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
Yeah, and to circle it back to Charlie, Charlie, they
only wanted people come here legally and peacefully, not like
just cause problems and do stuff illegal here illegally and.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
Just here's here's my thing. If we didn't have this
problem with illegal immigration, I think Charlie would have still
been here today.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
Yes and no, because you also have the TV news
media that kept on going to fascist, fascist, nazi nazi
blah blah blah blah blah. And during that pot and
then you have the Democratic leadership doing the same thing.
They were doing the exact same thing. And when you
have people like just that gets into their head and
they're like, oh, we're just going to say hey, and
(10:32):
then just they'll take a pot shot.
Speaker 1 (10:34):
Just remember everybody, when they start shooting people, that's how
you know they went too far.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
Indeed, that's that's always how this STIFI staff.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
I've seen so many videos with people are like, yeah,
we need to bring bike political assassination. I'm like, political
assassination A was never legal and b is never condoned
by the American people, like, you should never do it. Yeah,
just don't do it?
Speaker 2 (10:59):
Bad idea you want do you want to get like
sentenced to death? Do you want to be put in
jail for us their life depending.
Speaker 1 (11:04):
On Oh no, that shooter who shocked Charlie is getting
the death penalty.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
No, oh no, no matter what verdict already happened, and
they chosen death by firing squad. From my understanding as
to double check, they have to double.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Check that good because he deserves it. You kill somebody
with a bullet, you should get killed with a bullet.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
Again, it's in the Bible, and it's like the only
time it's allowed otherwise, don't do it. End of story.
Speaker 1 (11:35):
Yeah, it's one of those ten commandments. Shall not kill,
show murder, murder.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
I'm pretty sure it's just murder.
Speaker 1 (11:42):
It's no, it's dole. Shall not killed.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
Gotcha, I have to go back and double check everything
and I haven't read mine in a couple of weeks. Well,
that will do it kind of like have stuff that
we also need to do, like just arriving like uber
door dash et cetera, et cetera.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
Right, this was kind of a retake of when Charlie
actually got killed.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
Right, Well, that was just more of our one in
like immediate reaction. This is like the after effect and
what's going to happen in the future, you know, and
what we hope is going to be better and everything
has been turning out so far again from those arts
to again be better. And I I know, like Charlie's
(12:28):
a like it was a Cubs fan and he got
like the Cubs gut eliminated by Milwaukee in Game five.
That was a fun game. I fed off that energy,
but like that series was like the end of the
road from Milwaukee. LA is a very very healthy team
and when you have a healthy superteam, that super team
(12:50):
becomes a buzzsaw. Otherwise, that's about it. We do have
a music event coming up on my side. So if
let's say you wanted to attend the sum Free Community
Band concert at Central Heights Middle School Auditorium at three pm.
It's a free concert. We do have a donation receptacle
and one of the pieces we are doing is Bohemian Rhapsody.
(13:12):

(13:36):
chire pieces that I handpicked to go on the channel.
And we have a discord that's not in use. If
anyone wants to like make them more lively, I'm sure
we would welcome. Otherwise, we're just gonna leave that be
and just let it rot.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
Else.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
No, I don't get anything else.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
You, I don't have anything else, all right? Then?
Speaker 2 (13:56):
In that case, here from Yells whenever we were at
that time of year where we're just gonna be doing
averaging of like twice some month uploads. Yeah, so you'll
hear us maxim a skin within the next week or
two h
