Scammers are posing as Geek Squad representatives, targeting victims through calls, texts, and emails, hoping to drain wallets and digital accounts. Don’t fall for the scare tactic.How to Protect Yourself Verify the Caller – Never trust an unsolicited message—confirm you’re speaking with the REAL Geek Squad at Best Buy.  

Use Official Contacts – Best Buy provides direct phone numbers—call them first before engaging with any suspicious messages.  Never Click Links – If you receive an email, delete it immediately—don’t click, don’t reply, don’t engage.  Report It – Notify the Attorney General or local police to help shut down the scam.
