(00:15):
Good evening and live from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, apparently the paranormal capital
of the US. Tonight is thedoctor John Stamy. Welcoming you to Scary
Cast. We've got a very specialguest. He's a good friend of Scary
Cast. My co host tonight isthe cryptied guy from Hendersonville, North Carolina,

(00:37):
the one and only Christian MacLeod. How are you doing tonight, cryptid
guy. I'm alive and kicking likehell. John. How are you doing,
my friend? I'm doing great.I'm just so glad to have you.
It's always a company have you here, especially especially when we're going to
talk about cryptids. Okay, andtonight, I want to introduce a friend

(00:59):
of Scary Cat who's going to beat a number of our conferences next year,
the one and only the author ofEerie Florida and a number of other
books, and I'm going to gethim to talk about those tonight, the
one and only Mark Munsey. Howyou doing tonight, Mark? Oh?
Great, great, Thanks for havingme. It's been uh been a long

(01:19):
time since I've been back on theScary Cast, so I know it's been
It's been at least three weeks.Hasn't it. It's I think it was
right before the last lizard Man Festivalwas my last time on so oh really,
okay, well that's cool. Apandemic and some other stuff that happened
after that. I you know, who knows, Yeah, the world the

(01:41):
world ended, you know. Nowwe're back. It's all good, that's
right. Now. I've got afriend formerly with the CIA who keeps telling
me the world is going to endtomorrow, Christian you know who that is,
and I can Yeah, no,let's just wait a few days.
Let's get this scary cast. Soanyway, thanks for being here. We

(02:01):
really appreciate it. So now I'dlike for you to tell everybody a little
bit about your recent books. Icame across you when you did Erie Florida
and that was kind of not kindof that was a very cool book.
But tell us a little bit aboutwhat you've been writing recently, especially in

(02:23):
the world of cryptids. Yeah, well, Erie Florida was I've worked with
the late great Charlie Carlson, whohad written Weird Florida back in the eighties,
and we were working on an update. He had done a couple of
self published ones that weren't really doinganything. And I was working with him
on let's make it updated because someof these places have been bulldozed and some

(02:44):
of these places aren't around anymore. And I wanted to put in a few
more cryptids and some other things Ihad discovered into it. And then he
passed away and he was like,no, go ahead and do it.
Carry the torch. I reached outto his family's family didn't want anything to
do with it anymore. I justthe knew him as the weird uncle Charlie.
So you know, thankfully he's buriedin Sandford with a great tomb.

(03:07):
Sons's Master of Weird. So Ialways say I'm standing on the shoulders of
a giant. So but I wroteErie, Florida. I had been running
a haunted attraction in Florida down inSaint Pete Tampa Bay for twenty years,
where we based it all on locallegends and stories, most I had gotten
from Charlie. And then I hada website, and this will tell you

(03:30):
a little bit about it. Itwas it was in a Geocity's website and
we had an AOL address where youcould email us your monster stories or local
legends or ghost stories, and wekept doing that for the Hunter House,
and we did that for twenty yearsand it was finally shut down in twenty
fourteen when we had gotten a littletoo big for our bridges and we had

(03:51):
about ten thousand people a weekend goingthrough my backyard in Halloween time. So
I had all those stories and Italked to Charlie and said, what happened.
So we came up with Eerie Floridaand that was our number one best
seller. And then I said,Okay, well now I want to do
back up in the Mountains where Igrew up, up in the Hallers and

(04:12):
stuff. And they said, no, no, you got to do a
follow up Florida book. So we'relike, okay, publisher, you know,
paying the bills. So we traveledall around the state again, did
ten thousand miles, never left Florida, and we did Freaky Florida, which
was more lesser known off the beatenPath stuff, and I got even a
few more obscure cryptids and things likethat. And after that, because I'd

(04:38):
done those books, I started gettingon some of the TV shows. Did
a couple of the Ghost Hunter showsand a couple things like that, got
a couple documentaries and I'm like, okay, now I can do my you
know, my Appalachia book, andthey said, no, no, you
got to do a ghost book aboutFlorida. So we did our third book,
Creepy Florida, which was also anotherbestseller, and that was all haunted

(04:58):
locations. We traveled Aroun for ayear with paranormal teams and ghost hunting teams
and we crammed that book full ofevery ghost hunted location you could get to
that was legally allowed. We didn'tput any private property or anything like that.
And then they finally said, okay, now you can do your book

(05:20):
about the mountains and the hollers. And I started working on that, and
then twenty twenty happened and I thought, well, that's it. That's the
end of this book. But itactually gave us more opportunities. We started
getting families willing to zoom with usand talk to us, and we got
to go into some of these hollersthat would never have led an outsider in

(05:42):
ever because they thought, you know, this is their family story and all
that. But they thought it wasgoing to die. They thought it was
the end of the world. Sothey started sharing us more stories and we
got a lot of crazy, wonderfullegends and lore and cryptids and all this
stuff. So they came Erie Appallata, which came out premiered at the Mothman

(06:02):
Festival in West Virginia a year ago, you know, a little over a
year ago. So and we dida follow up this year. We're working
on our follow up which should beout middle of next year called Erie Southeast.
So Erie Appalachia was all those cryptidsand stuff all along the Appalachian Mountain
range. And then Erie Southeast isall those stories that were along the coast

(06:26):
all the way back down to Floridaagain. So that'll be out sometime in
April to June area hopefully. Sothat's great. Now I've got an idea,
and ideas come to me when wehave great guests and great co hosts,
because I'm going to talk about avery close friend of mine and cryptid

(06:49):
guys. His name is Elijah Henderson. He is the King of the Hollys
up in northern Tennessee and very nearland between the Lakes. And I'll tell
you what, Mark, since you'rekind of the king of the Hallers a
little bit farther south, would youlike to be on the show with Elijah

(07:12):
Henderson. His father was the greatJohnny Henderson, who was the King,
the King of Land between the Lakes. Would you like him and cryptid guy?
Would you like to be on withme and with Mark Munsey and with
Elijah for the King of the Hall. That's what we're gonna call the episode,
the King of the Holler. Ithink that'd be a great show.
I'm looking forward to that. I'lltell you what what we ought to do

(07:38):
too is seriously, uh, youknow, we should try to get Cumbo
on the show with that, becauseCumbo's probably the best authority on LBO.
I'd say Elijah's second, but whenJohnny was around, I'd say Johnny was
probably the first. But Coombo's He'sdefinitely been up there enough. We should
probably try getting him on the showtoo. Okay, please tell me who

(08:00):
I don't know this, Timbo CumboBaker. He's uh it was one of
the original uh Bigfoot outlaws. Uh. He used to work with Bear and
all those other guys. Real uh, real knowledgeable guy. He actually used
to work for NASA engineer, brilliantguy. But he's he's been doing crypt
investigations. In fact, he grewup believe was in Alabama, and he

(08:22):
had he's been having big foot encounterson his family property since he was three,
So I mean, he's he's justhe's a wealth of knowledge. But
he was actually at the He hada friend of his he went to he
grew up with that ended up beingone of the investigating officers at the LBL
incident, the original one. Sohe he knows, uh, every Yeah,

(08:45):
he knows. You know, he'sbeen to the site, he's done
videos on it. I mean,he knows exactly everything about that case.
It's it's fascinating to start talking tohim. My my contact up there is
Jesse Doyle. She does the showHellbent Holler, and she's she's literally been
out there a few weeks ago quitea bit. And uh, she was
one of my recent you know, she was one of our research partners on

(09:09):
stuff from that area. But well, I think we should get every let's
get everyone now. No, sheis a friend. She is a good
friend of Elijah Henderson's because they cometo the to last year's Tennessee Bigfoot conference,
which got canceled due to my COVIDcase. Sorry, but yeah,
no, we know about her andwe'd love to have her. We'll get

(09:33):
Elijah, you Mark, Uh,let's see Mark, cryptid guy. God,
it's going to be a mess. It's going to be great. And
then we'll get everybody on there anduh, and I think we'll have a
lot of fun. So I willstart, if it's all right with you,
gentlemen, I will start putting thistogether as ap to try to hit

(09:56):
it up the first of February. With that the first week of February,
would that be okay with everybody thatworks for me? And yeah, okay,
I think Mark should come down andhang out with me and what will
spend the weekend? And you know, we'll do the show. I'll take
them out. That sounds good.I am get them. A couple of
guess to people is that I amnot the investigator. I do not go

(10:18):
I go with bigfoot hunting teams.I go with you hunting teams. I
go with paranormal you know, ghosts, you know hunting teams. But I
am not that guy. I amnot a ghost hunder. I'm not a
I'm there for the stories. I'mthere for the folklore and the history,
but I'm also there for the experienceof the investigators. I like to get
there, Mark, I gotta behonest with you, guys, hit the

(10:39):
trifecta because I investigate all three ofthose things. So there, ye go,
So we'll have plenty to talk about. That sounds wonderful. So I
try to explain that to people.I'm like, I'm a fifty year old
epileptic. You don't see me goinginto the swamps with less. I'm with
a team that can get me out. Yeah. So ah, you want
to get out. I know, well, but that's a different car.

(11:03):
That's different the car. My destinationis getting back to the car. I
don't If we make it to ourother destination, great, but I want
to make sure I make it home. So you know, it's really funny.
I would like to share with you, gentlemen and with listeners. I
have a roommate, the gentleman thatpassed away in this condo before I got

(11:26):
in here. He was he washere four times today, right around the
kitchen area, banging around, andhe was just and he likes it because
I keep the place clean. Ican tell you, boy, if I
if I didn't keep this place clean, if Missus Stamey had not taught me
how to keep a place clean.I think I think this gentleman would be

(11:48):
mad as all fire that this beautifulplace was not clean. But anyway,
yeah, so I know, Iknow how it is to live with a
ghost, and I know how itis to have big that want to talk
to me and be friends with me. At the Georgia Bigfoot Conference. Because
now Mark Munsey and Christian McLeod, the Cryptied Guy, are both speakers at

(12:13):
the Georgia Bigfoot Conference that is Marchfifteenth and sixteenth in Dillard, Georgia.
It's gonna be magnificent and it's gonnabe a lot of fun. And people
are already buying tickets. That's great. Normally tickets don't start selling until the
first of the year. We've alreadysold a fair number of tickets. People
are excited about this. Our keynotespeaker is the great Ron moorehead of the

(12:37):
Sierra Sounds. It's going to bea lot of fun. And Mark encrypted
Guy, we're excited about having you, gentlemen there. Well, I'm excited
to be there. I'm super excitedfor that one. I can't wait so
right and by the way, sinceI have YouTube, gentlemen on here,

(12:58):
I think it's important to announce theNorth Carolina Paranormal Comic Con, which is
going to be in Marion, NorthCarolina, where my fam my mother's family
is from. It's great to goback home, the marry in North Carolina
event of all time, the NorthCarolina Paranormal comicn And we're trying to get

(13:20):
people like John Brunner there who hada big foot nine to one one.
I got some Robin McCrae is gonnabe there, Chris chastain's gonna be there.
We've got a lot of really coolpeople coming. So it's gonna be
an enormous amount of fun. It'sgonna be the paranormal fest that Marion has
always needed. I love Marion. In fact, I am probably in fact,

(13:45):
Cryptid Guy didn't know this, butI'm probably gonna ask Cryptid Guy to
come with me and lead the ghosthunt Saturday night because I've got some places
that very few people know about becausemy family's from there, and we are
going to try to get out tothe Lake to Home Gazebo on the Lake,

(14:05):
which is the most haunted spot inall of Marion, Oh my lord,
and I'm gonna try to get usto get those folks to let us
go out there, so we'll seewhat we can do. But it's going
to be a lot of fun,and it's going to be great having both
of you there. We're gonna havea lot of fun. So thanks a
lot and from all that, allright now, Mark Munsey, what would

(14:31):
you say is your top cryptid storythat you have investigated in terms of you
know, learning about it, andsay the last year and a half,
two years, what is your bestone in the last year and a half.
There was one in Appalachia that reallygot me. A family reached out

(14:52):
to me. They were in Huntingtonand they had gotten letters back in the
day that they kept, and oneof the letters they got was from one
of the cousins, and the grandmabasically kept every letter, right the mamma,
She kept every letter she ever got, and so they had all these

(15:15):
files of letters and they were goingthrough them after she had passed and her
her childhood passed, and so thiswas the granddaughter suddenly finding these drawers with
all these old, old letters, and she'd been reading them and she got
one that was a little odd,and so she reached out to me.
She had seen me on a DiscoveryChannel Robert the Dall documentary and saw that

(15:39):
I had looked me up and sawthat I had done some books, you
know, stuff, and that Iwas looking for stuff in West Virginia and
Ohio. So she messaged me andsaid, hey, I want you to
see this stuff. So we wereup in the area at the time and
researching the book, and we wentover to her place and she showed us

(16:00):
these letters. Now, the lettercomes from one of the cousins who was
living in Olympia, Kentucky, andhe was working for a mine in Olympia
and an iron mine. And that'sscary enough, right, And his letter

(16:22):
was very basic, you know, dear Ma, you know, love y'all,
we're doing this, we're doing that, and and you know was you
know, can't wait for the wedding, you know, excited to be back
for the reunion, all these youknow, just typical stuff. And then
it was like down at the bottomof the letter, like the last few
paragraphs suddenly got weird. He's like, hey, weird thing happened at the

(16:48):
mine. We were blasting into anew vein and when we blasted, we
got into a cave chamber and inthe cave there was a dead bear,
and feasting on the bear were threescraggly haired, weird wild people with bug

(17:10):
eyes and long claws, and theysat and looked kind of like toads as
they were eating the bear. Theywere nonplused about our explosion into their cave.
We all ran and refused to workthe rest of the day and we

(17:32):
still haven't been back to work. What do you think we should do?
And then then the last thing wasagain, just hope to see you in
a few weeks. Can't wait tohear from you. Sign you know,
Charles, So odd thing right, sounds very crazy. Cave people squat,

(17:55):
long hair, bug eyes, claws, and this is near you know,
the mind system. You know, the cave system of Mammoth Cave goes right
through their olympia. There's a lotof uncharted caves and stuff. Mate,
So so the obviously something weird. So the next letter is from him as

(18:22):
well as a reply, and he'syou know, we don't know what she
sent back to him, but weget his reply and again it's like a
yeah, looking forward to the wedding, looking for the reunion, thank you
for you know, sending me thefood, blah blah, blah, And
then then it says, so Itook your advice and we told the boss
we weren't going to work until hegot rid of the creatures. So he's

(18:45):
hired gunmen. They came in,they killed a couple bears and a few
of the creatures and carried them out. So now we've gone back to work.
And then it was you know, see you in a couple of weeks.
Okay, now, Mark, Igotta stop you. Do you have

(19:07):
you have copies of these letters?I have picture copies of the letters.
They didn't give me the letters becauseit's part of their family collection, but
I have pictures of them, andright now I'm not allowed to share them
yet because the family still is likethey they were allowing me to tell the
story, but they wanted investigated more, and they want more. Now I

(19:30):
am dealing with a couple of newspaperpeople, because what happened was is we
did find the newspaper article, butit wasn't what you'd think. The newspaper
article we found was an ad fromthat mine and it was the same week
between the two letters where the minewas hiring bear killers. Oh I'm certain,

(19:53):
I'm certain they were. Yeah, and okay, okay, cryptid guy,
this is where I need to bringyou in. You've got a lot
of expertise in the idea of strangenessand strange people and cryptids. I want
to know, off the top ofyour head, give us an analysis of

(20:15):
what you think might be going on. This is this is an amazing story,
Mark Muncie. It really is.Well, I mean, it's it's
incredible. What I like is thesee I've got. I've had this theory
I've been working on for years.I call it the cryptid cave theory system.
And I'm a firm believer that allthe way throughout Appalachia is just a

(20:36):
cave network. And this reminds meof something that happened. Are you familiar
with the Fontana Dam in North Carolina? Yeah, Marth Carolina, Yeah,
and then Natahalia National Force. Soone of the alleged theories on why this
happens. Now, if you thinkabout the backstare back back, I'm sorry,

(21:00):
the backstory on this, it's actuallyfascinating. In nineteen forty two,
they begin construction on this dam,and they've got thirty thousand men that are
pretty much supposedly in the military. Now nineteen forty two. I think you
guys remember what's going on in nineteenforty two, right, we're just getting

(21:21):
the thrones world. Well, themen were usually elsewhere, Yeah, exactly.
Now we're talking thirty thousand men beingused to help develop a dam.
And what they're doing is they basicallyput Fontana, the city of Fontana,
four hundred feet underwater. And oneof the theories about this, the reason
why they did this is because priorto this being done, they were having

(21:45):
allegations of wolf type creatures coming outof the cave systems that were on the
outskirts of town and attacking people. And then the military gets involved in the
next thing. You know, they'reputting it one hundred feet underwater. Now,
think about how the pressure of fourhundred feet at the entrance of a

(22:06):
cave system, all that water wouldjust do we think about the pressure of
water was to do. It fillsup everything in the surrounding area, including
all those dams and everything. SoI think they just flooded out the part
of the cave system, which now, now Christian, I got question,
do you think this was an exampleof of of dog man? That's exactly

(22:29):
where I was going to go withthis. That's exactly what I think.
And then from the description, youknow, Uh, I don't think Bigfoot
is real fond of probably eating orfighting with bears. I think they're pretty
much opportunistic. But sino cephally dogman, that's a little different. They're
more violent of an aspect. Theyhave the clause. You know, most
Bigfoot don't have claws unless you're dealingwith Genosqua, and I don't think they'd

(22:52):
be in that area. That's toofar south. I think I think this
is a sign for dog man,uh, you know with the bugget.
I mean that to me, thatwould make sense this Graggley here, So
I think I think you actually havean account of a dog man uh sighting
there. But the reason why I'mbringing up the Fontana Lake issue is because
I think that whole cave system wasconnected at one point. I think that's

(23:14):
one of the reasons why they floodedit. Because those same specific type of
creatures that were mentioned and uh inin your story, Mark, we're pretty
much the same way they were describedin Fontana before it was flooded. I
was I was thinking more when Ioriginally started reading this was more of the
moon eyed people, which the church, well, that would make sense in
that area. But I mean thatwar drove them into the caves. Yeah,

(23:40):
I mean it's I mean, it'sdefinitely possible. But you know,
I just I've never heard of themoon eyed people, you know, having
claws, and uh, you know, well that's what I was thinking.
I was like, well, maybeif they've been living in the caves a
while, they might have you know, developed stuff like that. But now,
the the fun thing about this mineis it's still an it's still an
operation and to this day, andit is in Olympia, Kentucky have Mercy

(24:07):
okay the name of it, butit is like the first word is a
is a flower that's known for thorns, and uh, the second word is
a instead of walking, if youneed to get somewhere fast, you do
that. So it could be anything, don't you know. You you know,

(24:29):
that's why I'm just keeping it vague. Actually I am. I think
I know exactly what you're talking about. We'll talk about it offline because I'm
pretty sure I know exactly what you'retalking about, because that mine just about
five years after This is home ofone of the worst mind disasters in history.

(24:52):
Exactly. They were trying to blowup another wall and it didn't work,
and then they went to check onthe fuse and it blew up at
least twenty men. And that alsodoesn't list the day laborers or the other
people that they don't can sell considerpeople. So we we think, but
do you think that was done onpurpose? So you think that was done

(25:12):
by you think that was an accident, you think that was actually purpose?
Common expression was it was the curseof the mind, so like mine,
So I'm sorry, but my instinctis that was on purpose. Yeah,
yeah, yeah, that would let'sclose up. We got some loose ends

(25:33):
to die up. Well think aboutthat. Way you get a tragedy,
you know, you can shut itdown. Yep. And it was shut
down for a few years while theybuilt a new route. So yeah,
they got into something they shouldn't haveagain, and let's let's say it was
and you know, we don't knowwhat kind of government interference they had too.
I mean, that could have beenUncle Sam saying all right, here's

(25:53):
what you're gonna do. It's notwhat you want to do, is what
you're gonna do. I mean,there's no you know, I'm a firm
believer that this is all you know, controlled and regulated, you know,
and you know, and to anextent would make sense because it would have
to be. You can't sit hereand tell anyone with any kind of you
know, logical functioning brain that oh, yeah, these things exist and that

(26:15):
the government doesn't know about them. That's ridiculous. I mean, it's almost
comical. They've learned about these thingssince Jefferson. As far as I'm concerned,
I'm going to stop you and I'mgoing to say the government knows everything
about this. They know what's goingon, or at least they have a
really good idea. And you know, it'd be really nice if somebody would

(26:37):
give us a little bit of courtesyto tell us what's going on, because
I think more people than not realizewe live in a crazy we live in
an eerie, weird world. AmI right? Mark Munsey, Yeah,
exactly. And that's why one ofthe reasons this family doesn't want to share
their letters because they're terrified that. One of their comments was they were afraid

(27:03):
an m IB was gonna come andtake me out and take their letters.
They're not wrong, They're not wrong. They're not wrong. Think about Mark,
you're a smart guy. Think aboutHe's one of my theories. Think
about when Jefferson eighteen o four,When Jefferson's got Lewis and Clark doing westward
expansion, and he's gonna map outthe continent the United States, What does
he insist? Who does he insistthey bring with him any Native American influence,

(27:27):
any name, any okay? Insistshe goes, You're not gonna do
it without Native American help. It'sjust not gonna happen. That was done
for a reason. They knew theywere going to run into the hairy man
and slash the wild man as wecall him bigfoot today, all right,
and they knew the Native Americans hadhad a history of dealing with them,
and they knew how to deal withthem, all right. There's depictions.
I think one of the problems thatyou know Meriwether Lewis when you look at

(27:49):
his death, the man shoots himselfcommits suicide by shooting himself in the head
twice with a flint lock pistol.Same pistol, shoots himself, reloads it,
shoot himsel up again. Come on, and then all his original journal
of notes and pictures disappear. Comeon, you know, I think that's
just an excuse me at the beginning. Yeah, sounds like tesla. Yeah,

(28:12):
this is just but think about this. This is just the beginning.
Because if Jefferson knows that, ifyou know, these stories get out or
they start talking about, oh yeah, there's monsters in the woods, there
goes westward expansion. The United Statesisn't going to go around to thirteen colonies.
It's not going to leave the OhawariRiver Valley the same time as Rutherford

(28:33):
Trace exactly wipe out the know, you know, the pre Cherokee tribes and
stuff, But we don't talk aboutthat because we needed the land and it
was before we were thirteen colonies. So and then westward expansion comes years later,
and that's when we do Tralla tearsin the same area, push everybody
out that was that stuck around exactly. But I mean, think about it,

(28:55):
but these these are the indigenous peoplethat knew what was really out there,
they knew how to deal with them. They Clark would have been completely
they never would have gotten where theygotten after one for the Native American help.
I mean that's I mean, they'reblatantly honest about that. And then
when they come back, you know, and they informed Jeffersonto what's out there.
You think he's going to spill thebeans? Of course not because that

(29:15):
would destroy, you know, thefledgling country. And then I love the
fact that you know, you know, years and years later, look who
puts the National park system together. It's Teddy Roosevelt Teddy, and he's the
only one. He writes about theBamman incident. Yeah, he writes about
Bigfoot and he believes it, youknow, in the Wilderness on eighteen ninety
say, he totally believes that story. So I put it in his book.

(29:36):
So you're and if you look atthe park system, at no point
in time if you were a cryptidrunning in the United States would you actually
have to run into a populated areaif you're going through the park systems.
And look at all the problems we'rehaving in the national parks now, all
these people disappearing, all the sightings. I look at the LBL. I
mean, that's just an example ofmore most cryptid sightings occur. I mean
they're always you know, national parks. That's why I love living in a

(29:57):
North Carolina, you know, II live in a hot spot. I
can go anywhere, uh in tenmile areas and get response. One of
the reasons we moved here from Floridawas we were you know, we were
along the whi A Lakuchie and andall that back there. But now we're
up here. We're right on thenot the Haleia, and we're right on
the Bartroom Trail, so exactly. In fact, I'm looking at them not

(30:19):
a heliot Latin trail. So yeah, I've got a lot more we can
look for up here. Yeah.Well, I'm looking at a map right
now of all that that general area. And so I mean, honestly,
like you said, I live inHendersonville. It's right there, you know.
I mean it's it's right there inthe hub of all this stuff,
you know, near Asheville, nearthe Appalachian Trail, this stuff to see
that, you know, the MountainousSea Trail all that. So I mean,

(30:40):
you know, I get all thesereports and it all comes from this
general you know that those areas whereI was getting everything. So that's why
we focused our house hunding up here. Yeah, it's just a good place
to live. You're going to dothis, but it's and think about the
folk or mythology. People don't realize. You know, the Appalachians are the
oldest mountain chain on the planet.Yes, you know, so they range

(31:00):
as the Scottish Islands and exactly andthe Irish Fjords, and it's all that
same mountain range. Just suddenly theworld decided, Hey, let's split apart,
back back when Pangaea, back whenPangee was happening. You know,
this is all one big, happy, smiley place. But I mean think
about it. I mean, thosemountains on the planet, and Lord knows
what history is in these mountains. We just haven't even begun to discover yet.

(31:22):
And that's that's the fascinating part, because there's so much out there to
discover. We haven't. It's justbrain new which is waiting to be discovered.
Yeah. I don't think most peoplerealize that. That was the beauty
of this doing this book was gettingall these little stories from all these little
hollers yep, and not you knowwhere. The Florida stories were all pretty

(31:44):
I thought were well known, buteven then it was lesser known stuff from
the darker side of Florida that youdon't talk about, those deep dark spots
when you look at the State. From space, you see all the bright
lights of you know, the coasts, and then you see the big bright
light in the middle, which isDisney and all that. But then there's
those big dark spots all around itwith little pin pricks of light. And

(32:05):
that's you know, the Green Swamp, the Maaca Forest, the Everglades,
and that's where all those big footsightings, Skuncpe sightings, UFO sightings,
all that, that's where they're at. And I and I want to jump
it's just even darker all the wayup. And you know, you got
your bright cities here and there, but the mountains are forever dark. I

(32:30):
want to jump in here with astatement. When I was on Unexplained with
William Shatner, they were interested inthe lizard Man, but they were more
interested in the moon eyed people. And that is something that there has not
been Mark Munsey enough research on,and I think we need to try to

(32:54):
do that because the moon eyed people, I mean that they are Harold there.
We hear about him for over athousand years and there are stories still
to like the eighteen hundreds. EvenMary Joyce. I'll give Mary Joyce credit.
She's got a book that talks aboutthe moon Eyed people? And Mark,

(33:19):
have you had much experience? I'mgoing to ask both of you this
question. Mark, do you havemuch experience about the moon eyed people?
Well, that's one of the onesfor my new books, so I can't
say too much ahead because I'm savingstuff for the for the book. But
because of what I had read inthat, you know, those letters from
the Appalachia book, and I startedresearching it, I'm like, I need

(33:43):
to dig more into the moon eyedpeople. And because they were not just
a mountain creature. They were allover the coasts. They were seen all
over the place. But it wasthe Cherokee that drove them into the mountains
because they got tired of them andthey didn't want to share the land with
them more. And they were calledthe moon eyed people because they couldn't stand
bright light, and so that's whythey would you know, they would tend

(34:07):
to be shorter. And but theother thing is that they supposedly had fair
hair and blue eyes, which wouldhave been way before the European settlers came
over here. We're talking thirteen hundreds, and you know Columbus had and sell
the ocean blue. Maybe the Vikingshad come right, but there are a

(34:28):
thousand years of the Mooneyed. Yousaid thirteen hundred, so you know we're
talking about eleven hundred, twelve hundredpossibly. So, yes, the mooneyed
people were something to be considered.Yes, sure they were. They traded
with the Jeroche, they have recordsof them, They have you know,
documents of trading, you know thoseearly trading documents where they were like we

(34:52):
gave X to the moon eyed people, We gave X to this in exchange
for you know, flint and someother stuff. And you know, this
is long before you know, wekeep thinking everybody was hunter gatherers and all
that, but we're learning more andmore every day that these people had a
very complex trading system all the waydown to Miami with the Calusad tribe,

(35:14):
which everybody thought was just hunter gatherers. But then the whole Miami mystery circle.
Yeah, because they found balsalt axeheads that came from the Ohio Valley
and Serpent Mound culture. So wherethe heck, you know, how did
they get it all the way thereand all the way up? And you
know that's why we start realizing,Okay, this was a lot more going

(35:36):
on than we thought. I thinkthere was a lot more travel than what
people go. You know, that'sthe only way to really explained this.
There was a lot more trade andtravel going on. And what people realized.
You know, I think everyone thinksthat everyone was just settling one specific
area. You know, Native Americansthey were you know, they were nomads.
They traveled with the seasons, youknow, they they had different spots

(35:57):
over the place. So I mean, yeah, some of the a lot
longer than we originally fought, soexactly. Yeah, and that's like in
the Mystery Circle, we realized it'sprobably we thought, oh it was just
a big, you know thing thatwas just there for a little while.
No, we think that might havebeen there for three or four thousand years.
That they stayed in the same plateson stilts, that's what it was.

(36:19):
Weird holes and everything was there. So well that's I mean, but
that would make sense too because ofthe flooding, you know, I mean,
you know, I mean to comeall the time, I want to
live on stilts too. Well,no, that I mean think about the
Etherglades when they flood you know, those those banks, you know how I
mean, you you lived down here, yeah, walled up lake Okajovie.

(36:39):
So yeah, yeah, I meanso that mean that that would have made
sense, makes total sense. Infact, it actually shows you that they
were all a lot more advanced thanwhat we give them credit for exactly.
And you know, I've got somethingi want to interject, being kind of
a little bit of an expert inNortheast Georgia, because I've been up there
seven years exploring the Bigfoot phenomenon, and there are many legends that the Bigfoot

(37:08):
and the white Man traded and werefriends. And I mean I happen to
know. I know where the Bigfootare up there. It's interesting the how
can I put it? The youknow, the government's looking in the wrong
place. They're looking at warl WoonRoad. They're not there, They've gone.

(37:31):
They're somewhere else. And I won'twant to tell. I mean,
I'll be you know, I'll belike a Mason on this one. I
will never tell where they are becauseI know where they are, and we've
got to let them have a placeto rest and reside and hunt and do
whatever to make a living. Butyou know, there are major, major

(37:53):
spots in Northeast Georgia where there aretons of Bigfoot and the government can't seem
to find them. I think it'sfunny. Well, John, I don't
think they can't seem to find it. I don't think they want to,
or they know where they are. They're just leaving them alone. They're not
bothering the you know, the publicexactly, as long as they're not hurting
anyone stealing, you know, uhor or I'm sorry, not stealing sounds

(38:16):
they're hurting anyone or you know, hurting livestock or costing I don't want a
whole lot of money. They're probablygoing to leave them alone. You know
how many stories have we all heardover the years about the government coming in
and taking care of an aggressive plan. I mean, I can think of
three stories right now, just inthis general area alone that I've heard over
the last five years. I catecategorically disagree politely as a friend, because

(38:40):
I think I know a little bitof the dynamic up there, and it
is sometimes terrifying. I have I'veseen things that hard to believe. But
anyway, you know, just northeastGeorgia's it's what it is. And I'm
glad the government doesn't know where theyare, and I won't tell them.

(39:01):
Bigfoot knows that Bigfoot could be standingout, might be standing outside my door.
Bigfoot knows I'm not gonna tell him. I'll lie to him and I'll
tell them somewhere else. But anyway, so back to you guys, because
this is this is so much fun. As we're as we're exploring cryptids from
Mark Munsey's book and all that, and especially oh god, the moon,

(39:23):
Mark, I'm going to ask yousomething. Can I, under the uh,
under the guise of a non disclosure, can we talk about me finding
out a little bit more about thisbecause I might have some information for you.
Can we talk at some point?Yeah, well, definitely, I'd
love to hear what you got, because I said, we're still in final

(39:45):
edits on it, so I cansqueeze more in as necessary. But I've
got a Florida cryptid that I wantto bring up because we're coming up on
its anniversary. Oh gosh, whatis it? All? Right? Well,
there was the you know, thisis going to go a little south
of where you were visiting their cryptoguy. This is down in Fort Myers

(40:15):
and Naples area. It's actually ina place called Port Punta Gorda, which
got hit by hurricanes pretty recently andPort Charlotte Harbor. Now I'm about fifteen
miles from that right now. Yeah, where are you. I'm in Dinnesota
right now. Oh yeah, you'rereal close. Then, yes, very

(40:35):
close. So yeah, down PuntaGorda. They had this thing come through
and it was nineteen I believe itis nineteen thirty seven, and it was
called the Florida Alabama Hurricane. Itwas before we named the hurricanes, and
and this was called that because itwent from Florida and hit Alabama. Well
that happens a lot now, butback then that was news. This was

(40:57):
in the early days of tracking thesestorms. But this was I'm sorry,
it's twenty seven, twenty seven,So it's during the Great Depression. And
now this storm goes through, itgoes right up the coast and it did
what storms that we've seen happen attimes, where it sucked all the water
out of Port Charlotte Harbor, rightand as it went up the coast,

(41:22):
and everybody runs out to get allthe fish and crabs and everything feed their
family for a while. Right, this is a great windfall for him,
but you got to grab it quickand get back on the land because the
water is going to come back ina hurry. So one family, according
to the legend, saw what theythought was a pirate chest out deeper,

(41:46):
deeper, deeper away. So theygo further out than anybody else to try
to get that pirate chest open fortreasure. It would save their family from
the depression. And they start bangingon the chest. They can't get it
open. It's locked. The waterstarts coming back. They finally get into
the chest and it's cannonballs, souseless to them. But they now the

(42:10):
waters come back and they have nowhereelse to go. But they see this
mound over on the side and whatlooks like a tree on top of it.
So they're like, okay, well, obviously the water doesn't get that
high. Let's run back to that. But the water keeps coming, and
you know, they're climbing up onthis little hill, and then the water
comes back and the hill starts floating, and they're like, oh gosh,

(42:32):
this is an upturned boat. We'regonna get washed out to see. This
isn't taking us where we need togo. And then they look down and
they see they're turning away from thecurrent, and they look down and they
see flippers and they realize they're onthe back of a giant turtle and it

(42:55):
takes them back to shore, andnobody believes it. It's a folk tale.
The family's insane, this couldn't havehappened, and it goes away.
It's just one of those folk talesright of South Florida. But then nineteen
sixties come around and Port Arlotte Harboris now a naval reserve base and they

(43:20):
had a diver out cleaning the harborand he gets a scare, sees something
giant swimming in at them, andthey think it's a sub. It's a
Russian sub, right, so thewhole base goes on alert. Now we
have the report of the base goingon alert, and we have the report
of what the diver said he saw. He's like, we realized it wasn't

(43:42):
a sub. It was a giantthirty foot diameter turtle that was coming into
the harbor the same place where thatfamily was supposedly saved by a giant turtle.
So a base goes on alert forthis thing thirty years later in the
exact same location. We don't reallyknow how long these turtles live. We

(44:07):
don't know how big they get.We have seen loggerhead turtles about eighteen feet
in diameter, which is big enough. But if this is correct and that
naval report is official, it wouldhave been the largest loggerhead turtle ever reported
in history at thirty feet in diameter, that which could have easily been confused
for a sub So I like tothink the giant turtle there is a wonderful

(44:31):
cryptid that may have been real. This family story suddenly isn't so crazy anymore
because now we've got naval evidence backingit up. Well, I mean the
other thing is, you know, well, I think it's it's very much

(44:52):
possible. I mean, you knowwhat, We've only discovered five percent or
explored five percent of the seas. You know, we're finding new species all
the time. You know, twelvethousand species a year usually found. Most
of them were microbes and insects, but still we're finding big stuff all the
time. And I always say whenI hear something like this, I have
one word that pops into my headseala camp. Yeah, that's all I

(45:15):
got. And you know, ifthese turtles are big enough, they stay
down deep enough, and we're nevergoing to see them. I mean,
you know, I I scuba diveI'm a commercial diver. You know,
I've done underwater salvage under you know, hard hat diving and uh you know,
I've dove in that area many times. And I fact used to go
to Venice and do shark teeth youknow diving. And it's the stuff that

(45:39):
could be out there you just neverknow. I mean Florida, I mean
there's there's caves, freshwater caves thatare ten million years old. You know,
they've got fossilized you know, stuffin there that we still haven't even
really figured out what they are.So, I mean it would not surprise
them. Are incredible. You won'tthink I'll think about Florida caves. No,

(46:00):
they really don't, because they thinkFlora's just flat. Well it is
flat, but there's part of itthat's not really flat. I mean that's
up towards the pantanel and stuff, but hollow down there. That's why we
think exactly and people don't really thinkabout that. But I mean, it
would not surprise me in the slicebit to have you know, who's to
say, there are you know, loggerhead turtles that don't suffer some kind of

(46:20):
gigantism, you know, I mean, you know the turtles get big man,
you know, I mean look atsome of these things. You know,
when I was a kid, Iused to do out of lumbo Key,
we used to do turtle releases, you know, for all the turtles
and uh, you know, I'msure you remember that when you were down.
I mean they're still doing that anduh, you know there's some good
sized turtles out there, you know. So I mean it would not surprise

(46:44):
me. And thinking about where thatspecific area you're talking about, Look at
the inlet, I mean, lookthe way the harbor's design. Naturally it's
naturally deep water, so I mean, you know, it'd be a perfect
place for them to come in andyou know, wait for food to come
in. So I mean it wouldnot that surprise me. Studies but not
at all. Yep. I thinkit'd be awesome to find out because I

(47:06):
found the naval report and then puttwo and two together and was like,
oh, hey, nobody's ever mentionedthat these two things take place at the
same place, you know, yearsapart. And you know, I like
to think that I've proven that thatfamily wasn't crazy, So well, I'm
sure they appreciate it. Yeah, thanks Wain crazy. Yeah, yes,

(47:31):
one of the big things on ourpodcast Eerie Travels is we always say report
it, report it, report it, please just put it somewhere and whatever
you feel as a friendly place, because we like to say, you know,
you know, crazy uncle Joe sawa bigfoot in the seventies on Route
three, and so he's crazy uncleJoe. But then if you look at

(47:52):
some reports and there's like seventeen peoplesaw a bigfoot on Route three and you
know that same year, Wait aminute, crazy Joe inc. He's you
know, he saw something so well, I mean that that always makes some
money. You know. They alwayswant to that's the go to to,
you know, discredit anyone. They'recrazy. That's the agiest way to discredit
someone. They're crazy. They're crazy. Well, a lot of times these

(48:14):
crazy people actually end up telling it. You know, they've been telling the
truth. It's just so hard tobelieve it that, you know, until
the evidence pops up or they getssomething else happens to verify their story,
you know, and then maybe they'renot so crazy. You know. The
other thing is this total could bea big leather back too. You know,
I was, I was just I'mjust flipping through here, and they

(48:35):
can get two and a half meterslong. Yeah, you know, so
what you say eighteen eighteen feet indiameter and that's the biggest ever caught.
But that you know that this,if the sighting's correct, that's thirty feet
in diameter, which is twice thatBut that's huge. But I mean,
what's to say that it's up therethere's a specific species that has gigantism or
they're they're they're you know, they'rejust we don't know how they get but

(48:58):
we don't know. I look atthe loossal squids when I was a kid,
that was a legend. Of courseit was cracking, was square,
you know, all that's all that'sridiculous or you know, you know that
there's no such thing as Magladon's Megladon'snever existed and all those and you know
found them. Now we're finding them. Yeah, and that's some creepy stuff,
right, that is like, okay, these are real. We're taking

(49:20):
it back. You don't you don'tget to play with it anymore crypto.
It's not science. So well yeah, I mean that's the funny thing is
like you you know, it's it'sonly a matter of time before they find
something. You know, you know, we go deep enough find something,
you know that that moving the meg. I don't know if you've seen that.
It was it's definitely a cheesy movie, but the premise of it is
solid. Peter Yes, I mean, I mean, you know, he

(49:44):
wrote Jaws. I mean, heknows what he's doing. So, I
mean, you know, but youyeah, So, I mean there's there's
there's no reason to say that it'snot possible. I mean, like I
said, when you've got a plant, three quarters of the world's covered by
water and then you've only just youknow, preme much explored five percent of
it. You know, we haven'treally even talked about the Antarctic or the

(50:05):
Arctic. Oh, I mean,we don't even really know what's in there,
or or if we do, orsomeone does, they're not telling us.
I think it's that's the only countrythat all the countries are honoring.
It's yeah, exactly, these arecountries that never agree on anything, but
that they all say, yeah, are called fear is what that's It's called
fear. You only don't go someplaceif you're scared of it. It's like

(50:29):
me, you know, I seeall these things that buzz Aldriance talking about
on the Dark sit you know, all the things like it's coming out now,
you know, like he's you know, he's talking about how big the
spaceships they sew up there, andhow much more advanced they were, and
all of you know, and Iknow he's you know, he's he's still
on the original heroes for that wholeera, but you know, it's now
he doesn't care what people say,so he's just telling him what he's just

(50:52):
he's at that point, and he'snot the only one that's done that.
So eventually someone someone that's that militaryyou know, experience or or contact with
whatever is down there, whatever's inthat area, is gonna start talking.
You know, how far I mean, how how was How do we know
Admiral Bird wasn't just crazier that allthose stories aren't crazy? You know,

(51:13):
Excuse me, sir, don't evengo with Admiral Bird. I'm going there
of our country still in this historyexactly, and real Bird knew what he
was talking about exactly, and everyonejust kind of dismissed it. And then
remember, they shut him up.The segment gets to South America, they
starts talking, they just shut himup. You know, if we still.

(51:36):
Yeah. How many destroyers have welose? Seven? Was it seven?
Destoris? John? Yeah. Andthe fact it's like we had Brooks
Agnue on here. Brooks did agreat job because brilliant Bird and Brooks is
coming back. Brooks is going tobe with us at Georgia Big Book.
Now, you're gonna love Brooks andBrooks Agnew is going to be at the
Georgia Big Book Conference. This isgoing to be incredible that he's there,

(52:00):
and this is our opportunity to talkwith him and and really get into what's
going on with Admiral Bird. Imean, that's why we've got him.
That's why we try to have thegreat guests. But like you encrypted Guy
and Robin Haynes at the North CarolinaParanormal Comic Con, we try to have

(52:22):
the great guests so that we cantalk to them and find out what they
know. These people know a lot. So we're just thrilled to have him.
You know, it would be awesome, John, Honestly, I'd like
to have these two. I'd liketo have him and Brooks sit down and
talk because that that right there, that'd be the worst price of my ticket.

(52:43):
I'll tell you that right now, just to have you guys sit down
and chat. I just sit there, shut up, and listen. And
I don't do that a whole lot. Taking note I've got I've got a
lot of military contacts that have beentalking to me about a lot of strange
things, and it's been fun.Well some of that, you know what's
funny. Some of the old militaryguys I talk to, you know,
you know, they find out Ido, you know, cryptid research or
stuff. They look at me andthey just kind of shake their head and

(53:07):
you can tell they want to saysomething, oh yeah, but they can't
and they don't think it's crazy becausesome people say, oh, that's just
ridiculous crazy. I have never hada former military person or someone that works
for the FEDS in some capacity andeither the parks department or you know,
police or or but they they knownot to go on record because the minute

(53:30):
they do, they get transferred.I have never had I have never had
a park ranger look at me likeI was just a lunatic. Oh no,
I had other people look at melike I'm crazy, but a park
rangers that happened. Never park rangers. They know way more than they're you
know, they and what's fun isif you'll talk to one at a location.
I'll be like, hey, Iwas at the Kingsley Plantation I'll never

(53:52):
forget, just south of Jacksonville, and I was like, hey, do
you know about Old Red Eye oryou know the White Peacock or some of
these other legends in this area. And they're all like, ah, you're
crazy, we don't. We don'ttalk about that. And then as soon
as I step away, this otherpark rangel come running over to me,
and I'll go, all right, look, we're not supposed to talk about
it when you're the building, butlet me tell you where this is where

(54:13):
we saw Red Eye. It iswhere we saw the Horde of Ghosts and
the silver Peacocks out there. Ihad one lady I can't it was.
It's not far from where you areright now. She's a beautiful, nice
lady, just a nice girld, just just a sweetheart. She was like
almost like a grandmother. And shewas of that kind of kindness, you
know what I mean. She wasjust yeah, and uh, I had
a big Foot T shirt on andshe walks up to me and uh,

(54:37):
she was guiding people. It wasjust one of those It was one of
those trails were like there was justsomeone there and it was kind of busy,
so I just had someone guiding, you know, hey, this one,
this one, go this way.And she looked at my T shirt
and says, you don't believe inthat stuff, do you? And I
said, well yeah, and shelooks at them, she goes, she
looks around, she smiles at me, and then just points to a tra

(55:00):
and we just went on that one. So I mean, it's it's it's
funny, you know it is,and people don't get it unless you've been
doing this. And I've been doingthis for twenty six years now, and
it makes me laugh because I lookat the way things used to being the
way they are now. People areso much more open about stuff now,
Oh, specifically cryptids, you know, the Navy exactly, the Navy footage

(55:20):
coming out and oh the UFOs andall that. Oh my god. Yeah,
it's help so much because I gotletters from people who had seen things
over you know, fifty years ago, were like I knew I wasn't crazy,
and please, you know, takemy take my information, and you're
the creepy Florida guy. I gota UFO sighting. I saw in fifty
seven. All right, well youknow what about it? You know it's

(55:43):
awesome, you know it's hilarious. My own mother, my dear sainted mother,
who I'm visiting right now, nota big believer in the Bigfoot.
However, she's actually seen Betty andBarney Hill and a speech engagement in Portsmouth,
New Hampshire. That's where they're originallywhere my mom was from. And

(56:05):
I was, now, check thisout, Mark, this is gonna be
something you're gonna be laughing. Ihave the original full documentation of all of
Betty and Barney Hill's papers. Wow, and that includes the UFO citings,
the CIA documentation in the FBI.You would not believe how far in the
depth the US government gunvall with thoseguys. Oh yeah, I'm still going

(56:29):
through it. It is bath somemk Ultra experiments with them. There was
there was yep, No, thatwas just by I say, they've got
mk Ultra, They've got the CIA, they got the FBI Operation Project blue
Book when it was Majestic twelve, they got things from Heineck in there.
I mean, it is crazy. And I've been doing all this research on
it, and you know, Igot all this information and it made me

(56:50):
laugh because I had no idea.My mom had actually seen them talk,
and they were also Betty and BarneyHill. They lived up in Portsmouth,
New Hampshire, and I've been towhere their account was. But he was
also the male man for my grandparents, so they loved them. They thought
they thought he was the nicest guyin the world. And my mom had

(57:13):
actually seen him speak. And I'mjust sitting here thinking to myself, Now
here's a woman that doesn't believe inBigfoot. You know, good religious woman
doesn't believe in Bigfoot, but damnedaliens are real that we get at every
convention we do. When I'm atyou know, Mega Con or Dragon Con.
I do a lot of public speakingat the big comic book conventions,

(57:35):
and people will come up and it'slike, you know, I just don't
believe in Bigfoot, but I didsee a UFO. Yeah, And then
or they will be the opposite, you know, I don't believe in UFOs,
don't believe in ghosts, but Isaw a bigfoot yeah. And then
it's it's so funny how it's yo. Even but when we started this,
I mean all of us, we'vebeen doing this for a while you remember

(57:55):
when it was the UFO people won'ttalk to big good people, and big
people won't talk to the ghost people. You know, it's funny, is
we were John and I were talkingabout this about two weeks ago, and
it's funny. There is a hierarchy, all right, and it does because
okay, here's that guys. NowI'm a member of Moufon too, which
I love because Moufon's records are justthey're incredible. Move on, move on.

(58:21):
Looks at everyone else like they're crazy. Yep, all right, but
they're on the top, all right. Then you have the paranormal people.
Paranormal people think that the UFO andthe Crypti people are insane, but ghosts
are real. However, then youget the paranormal people looking down on the
crypti people. Now everyone looks downto the crypti people because they think they're
crazy, because there ain't no waythere's some North American prime maate running around

(58:43):
the woods. We would have documentthat's ridiculous. You're crazy, blah blah
blah. No social things are werewolf, none of that could possibly exist,
all right, and who did thecrypto? The people look down on no
one because we're at the bottom. So we're looking at everybody needs to buy
a copy of Liz Man Companion. It's available on Amazon dot com, the
latest book. Please buy a copyof Blizzard Man Companion. There it is.

(59:09):
Where am I gonna get my autographedcopy of all those mark Here Florida,
Hererie, Apple, Atchia, FreakyFlorida, and Creepy Florida. All
will be available at all these eventscoming up. So I'm looking forward to
podcasts and listen to more stories.I've got listener stories that are just amazing

(59:30):
that some of the things people havesent us uh and uh and and and
every one of them is like,uh, I know this sounds crazy,
but that's how it always starts. That's always how the best story starts.
This is gonna sound insane, butbut dot or or what. They'll come
back. It's like you said earlier, they'll come back to talk to you.

(59:51):
They'll laugh at you at first, and you see them look around.
Then they come running back to you. Hey, have you ever heard anything
like this? Yep, yep,yep. I I swear I had a
dream where a hell hound into myhand. It came out from under the
bed, and I didn't believe it. But then I smelled sulfur and I
smelled smoke, and then my wifesaid, Hey, did you smell anything

(01:00:12):
weird last night? Because I thinkI saw a flaming dog walk through our
house. And it's like see.And they didn't tell each other for three
days. Yeah, because they thoughteach one was crazy. So that's about
the communication, Mark, It's allabout the communication and what happens when one
of your best friends says, John, I've never told you about this,

(01:00:34):
but that thing that followed me pastthe cemetery on whatever road near Statesville was
a hell hound and you get chillsup and down your spine. And he
knows what he's talking about. He'snot anvy. So anyways, and so,
gentlemen, I got to say wewere coming up on our witching hour.
This has been the most fun thatyou can have with your cryptid jeans

(01:01:00):
on. It's so much fun talkingto you, gentlemen. And we'd like
to have you back quickly, andwe're gonna we're gonna talk about doing something
the first part of February, andit's just gonna be great. So I
want to thank Mark Muncy, authorof Eerie Florida and everything else. Mark,

(01:01:45):

in every cracker barrel in Florida andup and down the Apple Watch and trail.
You can find the Erie Apple Watchespretty good. I'm just gonna have
you make them out to me.I want to buy them from me at
the events. Man, that's justhelp me at that. We'll be in
that event. I can't wait.I'm looking forward to it. I'm gonna
