medical professional that should tell you if you get on
a medication and it doesn't make you feel right, whether
if you're a creative person and you stop feeling creative,
you tell your doctor and they transition you to another medication.

So it takes time. I promise you it takes time,
but it's worth it. That's what I did.

So for me, what I really wanted to be honest
when you know I felt myself getting better with my diagnosis.
I didn't want to lose how I saw things when.

I was manic.

I promise you I liked the way I see things
when I'm manic. I like the way I dress when
I'm manic. I just needed to be able to organize
it in my head when it's happening, you know, and
be calm about it. But I didn't want to lose
that at all. And that's what that first world feels like.

until you transition to And your doctor should be open
to it if you one thing, and I'll be honest,
I'll say this real quick.

Let me get overall first, when I went into the
mental health world, I didn't realize truly that I had
a voice. I really thought that I was.

Just supposed to take this diagnosis, take what they tell me,
take this, take this medication, and no, you're supposed to
advocate for yourself and stuff. If you even with a
therapist and you don't like your therpists, you're supposed to
tell somebody and get a new therpist.

You don't let your doctor get all of that. I
can do all of that with all kinds of between therpists.
And I'm gonna tell you what you think is not
because I had a friend who she was looking for therapy,
but she was obsessed with finding a black woman therpist,
and I just kept saying she gotta go through her
journey because for me, my least favorite therapist was the

I have won. My first therapist was a black woman.
Loved her, but then she got promoted to the clinic director.
So I'll let you know how good she was after that.

Every other black therapist that I had up until this year,
I it's a black guy.

to talk to them and understand what I'm telling you.
