Speaker 1 (00:01):
All is a self elevated podcast when your host Ovator
and eat.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Just Cash Parker.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
The game elevation starts with ourselves, and by learning sh
h VI versions, we can change our lives.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Your only limit is you.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Hey, hey, hey, Welcome back to self Elevated, where we
elevate the mind, body, spirit, business, and then bank accounts.
I'm your host, Miss Jess, and today we're gonna be
wrapping up our month of financial elevation with a message
that's going to hit deeper than them dollars, okay, like
how to feel safe holding money and how to stop

(00:45):
subconsciously pushing it away. Because here is the truth, all right,
It's not always about how much you make. It's about
how safe you feel keeping it, all right. If money
hits your account and disappear heres almost as fast as
it came in, or if you find ways to spend

(01:05):
it as soon as you have it, this episode just
might be for you, all right. We're gonna talk about
what makes us energetically uncomfortable with abundance, and how to
reprogram our nervous systems around receiving, and how to create
the kind of money safety that sticks not just with us,

(01:26):
but makes that money stick in impackets. Okay, so what
does it mean to feel unsafe holding money?

Speaker 2 (01:35):
All right? Let's get into this.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Feeling unsafe with money doesn't always look dramatic, Okay. Sometimes
it's low key habits and patterns that are gonna show up,
like instantly spending as soon as you get paid.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
All right.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
I know a lot of people that do this, all right.
They that saying is you know, living outside your means
or basically it's already spent before you get it right,
or giving away money out of guilt, or it could
be feeling uncomfortable seeing a growing balance.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
You know, this is actually a thing.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
I know that sounds weird, but some people really do
feel uncomfortable with the account going up because they associate
it with, you know, more issues, or they feel like
the more they have, the more they have to spend, right,
or sabotaging your own income streak, or maybe undercharging or

(02:35):
blocking new income opportunities.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
I know a lot of people that undercharge for their
services or their products. I see it all the time,
you know, and this is rooted in your nervous system
and old programming, because if your inner self is used
to lack struggle or survival. Abundance can feel unfamiliar, and

(03:00):
unfamiliar can feel unsafe. Right, So where does that money
fear really come from? And I'm gonna tell you this.
You're not broken, Okay, you've been conditioned. I'm gonna name
some of the energy behind the fear of holding money,

(03:21):
all right. It can be generational poverty or scarcity conditioning,
or fear of judgment from others if you quote unquote
have too much, right, or beliefs that money makes people
greedy and selfish, or previous losses that made you afraid

(03:41):
to hold or save money. You know, maybe you took
a big financial hit for whatever reason and now you
just don't trust yourself with a lot of money, right,
Or toxic lessons like more money, more problems. We've all

(04:02):
heard that. Okay, we've probably all said it too. But really,
you know, we internalize these beliefs and play them out subconsciously,
creating struggle just to feel safe again. But guess what,
you guys, you don't have to live in that loop,
all right? So how do we rewire our system to

(04:23):
feel safe holding money again?

Speaker 2 (04:26):
All right? And I don't just mean a few hundred
or a few thousand.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
How about we think about a few hundred thousand, what
about a million? How comfortable or how safe would you
feel with that much money?

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Right, so let's shift the energy.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Here's how we're gonna start feeling safe and maybe even excited. Okay,
about holding the money that we're all trying to attain,
that generational wealth, that ever growing bag. Then bank accounts
on fluff, and then bills paid automatic, okay, without even
blanket you. All right, So holding money, growing money, and

(05:04):
definitely sustaining abundance, all right. We gotta start celebrating what
we hold and not just what we get.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
All right.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
So affirm and acknowledge every bill that you can pay
with ease, all right. Celebrate that and celebrate savings too,
not just income.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
All right.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
You gotta practice receiving without guilt, all right.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
So let people bless you without deflecting.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Or explaining, and you know, say thank you instead of saying, oh,
you didn't have to do that, or no, I can't,
I can't accept this, you know what I mean? Like
you didn't have to hear no, no, no, have it back, right, like,
don't don't do that. Just receive without guilt, okay, And

(05:52):
you need to set holding.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Goals, not just earning goals.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
So we got to ask ourselves, how much do I
want to comfortably keep in my account this month? Okay,
that's a big one, and like stick to it, right, Like,
no matter what, you gotta make work some other kind
of way or figure out or struggle through or thug
it out with you know, eat some mom and whatever

(06:20):
you might have to do to stay true to.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
That holding goal.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Okay, do it all right, And visualize peace and not
fear with you know, having higher amounts, and obviously with
higher amounts come higher responsibilities and et cetera. Right, so
you need to be able to picture your bank balance
growing and your bodies stay calm and your mind feeling.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
At ease truly, okay.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
And then also to create a money safety mantra and
use it every day, say it every single day, like
for the next year. And then once it's basically embedded
in you pick another one and say another one every
single day.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
All right.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
You can say it along with your affirmations for the week,
say it in the morning, at night, you can say
it anytime you want, but just make sure you're always
saying it to yourself in your head. Out loud, writing
it down. You can put it on a sticky note
on your mirror in your bathroom, you know, constantly have
it going through your mind.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
You can do a mantra like it is safe to
have money right, nice and simple, okay, Or I hold
wealth with confidence and peace, or maybe money stays with
me and multiplies. I like that one. I think I'm
gonna do that one for myself. But if you like it,

(07:49):
you know, you can use any one of these, or
just come up with something of your own along these lines,
right and repeat it constantly. Right, that's the key. So
let's take it inWORD. Now we're gonna get into the
journal prompts for the week, and I want them to
like help you shift your internal money dialogue.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
All right, So.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
Grab your pen, grab your paper, open your note, or
download this episode right now. Okay, so you can come
back to this if you need to. But the first
journal question is what emotions come up when I think
about having more than enough?

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (08:36):
What emotions come up when I think about having more
than enough?

Speaker 2 (08:42):
All right?

Speaker 1 (08:43):
The next question, what old money beliefs or fears?

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Am I still caring? Okay? Be honest with yourself Remember,
these answers are.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
Only for you, unless you're sharing your journals with other people,
which it's totally fine as well. But these answers are
just for you to read, so be honest. Even if
you don't like your truth, just still give it.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
And the last question, how can I begin creating a
sense of peace and safety around holding large amounts of
money and or savings? Okay, Now, let's breathe in, real deep,

(09:32):
and we're gonna speak these affirmations into your new money mindset. Okay,
you're gonna also write these down, gonna play them back.
You're gonna save them later, you know all the things
I always say, save them multiple times a day, three
times each time. Right, Okay, But for right now, we're

(09:53):
gonna breathe in and you're gonna repeat after me. It
is safe for me to have money. I no longer
fear overflow.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
I expect it.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
I trust myself to hold, manage, and multiply my wealth.
Money supports my purpose and my peace.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
I feel at ease in abundance.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
Now, if this episode happened to give you the breakthrough
that you didn't even know you needed, okay, tag me

Speaker 2 (10:53):

I really would love to know, all right.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
And if you want to be on the show, or
you have something to add to anything I've talked about,
or you have a money story that you want to submit,
could be a good one, could be a bad one,
could be one that makes us all want to think
twice before doing X, Y or Z. Right, like a
horror story of something that you did that was like

(11:21):
an epic fail or an epic win. Anything right, hit
me up at I Radio at JMP empires dot com
because you already know we elevate better together, all right. Now,
next week we're gonna be switching lanes. Okay, We're going
into business and hustle mode.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
I'm gonna be dropping.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
Real steps for how to start a side hustle even
if you're broke and busy.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
Okay. So whether you're trying.

Speaker 1 (11:48):

extra income flowing in on the side, I got you,
and I'll be plugging my hustle book blueprint. So get

Speaker 2 (12:01):
All right.

Speaker 1 (12:03):

building a life that holds it with ease. Okay, and
until next time, remember your only limit is you

The Burden

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
