Speaker 2 (00:22):
Hey, hey, hey, welcome back to Self Elevated, the podcast
where we level up our mind, body, spirit, business in
them bank accounts. I'm your host, Miss Jess, and we
are still deep in our hustle and business Elevation series. Okay,
and today's topic is real, real important how to juggle
(00:43):
your side hustle without burning out. Because listen, starting us
a hustle is one thing, okay, But keeping that energy
while managing a nine to five job, your kids, your partner,
your mental health, and your peace, well that's the part
people really don't prepare you for, all right. So today
(01:05):
we're gonna be talking about what burnout looks like, how
to spot it early, and how to build a hustle
that's gonna support your life, not one that drains it.
All right, So let's get into it, you guys, why
most hustlers really burn out. I mean, let's keep it
real here. Most people aren't failing because their hustle isn't good.
(01:29):
They're failing because their energy is mismanaged. And here's what
that might look like. Okay. Common burnout triggers can be
hustling with no schedule or boundaries, trying to do everything
all at once, or comparing your day one to someone's
you know, some other person geer five okay, or not
(01:52):
giving yourself permission to rest or reset. That is a
major one. Also not celebrating progress, including small progress, you know,
and only obsessing over big results. Okay, Because burnout doesn't
always come from doing too much. It comes from doing
(02:13):
too much of the wrong stuff, all right, and without
a system at that. So how do we manage our
hustle like a real ceo? All right? Here's how to
actually build your side hustle in a sustainable way so
you're not running on fumes or literally starting to resent
(02:35):
the thing that you were once excited about doing. Okay,
So get a pen, you're gonna want to write this down,
all right. So the first thing is that you need
to set boundaries with your time, okay, So like two
specific hustle blocks that don't bleed into your work, rest
or family time, all right. And also use alarms or
(02:58):
apps that are gonna protect those windows, like like you
would set for an important meeting, right, and then you
need to pick one focus per week okay, So you
don't need to create content, sell products, build funnels, and
run ads all at the same day and time. Okay,
(03:19):
You just choose your focus for that week, whether it's visibility, offers, content, systems,
et cetera. Right. The next big thing that you're gonna
want to do is build in rest days intentionally, okay.
So don't wait until you're feeling like you're about to
(03:40):
drop and hit the floor to try to have a
rest day. Okay. You want to build them in so
it prevents burnout. Okay. So if your hustle plan doesn't
include rest yet, it's not sustainable. Okay, it's literally punishment,
all right. So you're gonna want to be hustling and
(04:00):
flow over hustling, just in survival mode, okay, So make
sure you put those rest days or even if it's
like rest hours, right, do those intentionally and put them
in your schedule as like a thing to be done.
All right. Then the next thing is that you're gonna
(04:21):
want to use systems and automations early on. Okay, So
think templates and auto responders scheduling apps. That way you
can stop trying to do everything all live and manually. Okay.
So that phrase hustle smarter, not harder, that's where this applies. Okay.
(04:42):
And then last, but definitely not least, you have to
celebrate the small winds like their big ones, Okay. Don't
just wait for a big wind to come along to
feel like you've done something worth celebrating. Okay. So have
you finished your bi maybe you posted your very first offer,
(05:03):
or you sent your first invoice after making your first sale.
You know, celebrate that energy. It's gonna build the momentum. Okay.
So right now it's gonna be time to reflect and realign.
So I'm gonna want you to journal these questions out, okay,
(05:24):
sit with them tonight in the morning, throughout the week,
all right, and remember always answer these questions honestly and truthfully,
don't hold back because it's it's for yourself, all right.
So question one is what part of my hustle has
been draining me the most and why? Question two, what
(05:50):
would a sustainable hustle routine look like for me? And three?
Where can I simplify or automate and my hustle this month. Okay,
So answer those questions and find out those answers. Okay,
it's gonna bring you a whole lot of clarity moving forward. Okay.
(06:15):
So now we're gonna go into our affirmation section, and
you know we're gonna speak this into your business energy,
one affirmation at a time. So repeat after me. I
run my hustle, it doesn't run me. I build with intention,
(06:41):
not exhaustion. I give myself permission to grow sustainably. I
protect my time, peace and creative energy. I am a
(07:07):
CEO and flow, not just the grind. Now, remember every
time you say those affirmations, I need you to say
them three times each Okay you can, and and three
times a day at that so you can do all
(07:29):
of them every day or pick one do them, you know,
one day, one affirmation per day, and you know, morning, noon,
and night, you're gonna say them three times each time.
All right. Now, If you've ever felt hustle burnout creeping in,
this episode was definitely a reminder that it's time to realign.
(07:50):
So tag me at Misjes Official or Missjes Ceo and

because before you go viral and start selling like crazy,
you're going to need to know who you are, what
you stand for, and how to show up online with
clarity and consistency. So this one's going to be for
(08:35):
the personal brands, the creatives, and the future CEOs who
want to be remembered and paid. Okay, So hustle smart,
protect your peace, and build what lasts. Until next time,
remember your only limit is you
