Speaker 1 (00:01):
All the Self Elevating Podcast. Your host, I Movator and
Autistic just cost Parker the game with true elevations. With
ourself and my life high vibrasions, we can change our lives.
Your only limit is you. Hey, y'all, Hey, welcome back

(00:24):
to another episode of Self Elevated, the podcast where we
elevate our mind, body, spirit, business, and then bank accounts. Okay,
I'm your host, miss jess In. Today's episode is all
about three simple side whostles that you can start this
month to boost your income, build new skills, and create

(00:44):
a financial treaderado that you have been dreaming for your
whole life and creating life on your own terms, designing
your own rich life as me and my partner like
to call it. So, whether you're trying to just pay
off debt, stack some extra savings, or finally fund that

(01:05):
business idea you keep talking about, then these side hustles
are realistic, flexible, and proven to work. All right, So
grab your notebooks because they're gonna be diving deep into strategy,
set up and mindset. All right. So digital products how

(01:26):
to turn knowledge into passive income? All right? We live
in a time where your ideas can literally make you
money while you sleep, all right, And if you've ever
solved the problem, learn the skill, or even gone through
something that others can learn from, then you can turn
that into a digital product, all right. So think ebooks, templates, guides, checklists,

(01:53):
many courses. All right. You create it once and then
you can sell it over and over again. That's what
you call like ever green products, okay, because they can
continue selling and selling and selling without you ever having
to do another thing to create the product. Market it, yes,

(02:16):
but create it no, Okay. It can sell over and
over again a million times over all right. The the
stock and inventory of said products are limitless. Okay. Now,
platforms like Payhip, gum Road, or system i owe can

(02:36):
help make it easy to host and sell instantly with
zero tech overwhelm. Okay. Other ones that I like are
you know, Beacons is great, stand stores great. You know,
that's kind of the hype right now. But they are
also very pricey. Okay. So you can get started with

(02:57):
some of these other ones for no money. Okay, pay Hip,
gum Road, system Io, beacons Okay. All of those you
can set up right now with no costs. Okay, you
can actually do that with standstore but I believe it's
like one week or two weeks free trial or something

(03:19):
to that effect. Anyway, don't overwhelm yourself with thinking about
paying for something. Just find one that you like, that
it has a free option and start there. Okay, focused
on solving one clear problem, all right. So example, meal
prep for busy moms, how to boost credit fast, or

(03:40):
side hustles for beginners. Okay. The key is don't overthink it.
You want to start simple and launch small. You can
improve later, all right. Digital products build long term income
streams that can grow with your brand. All right. Another way,

(04:01):
it's freelance services. Okay. Monetize your existing skills. So if
you've ever helped a friend with social media or have
written captions, maybe you designed a flyer before or helped
set up a website. That's a service people paid for. Okay.
Sites like fiver, upwork and freelancer can help connect you

(04:25):
to clients worldwide. All right, So start by packaging what
you already do naturally, writing administrative tasks, design research, voiceovers,
video editing, even typing or transcribing. Okay, you get the point. Okay,
And a tip here is to pick one service and

(04:47):
create a clean profile focused on results, all right. At samples,
use software like Canva to create you know, free mock
ups if needed, all right. Also, freelancing doesn't just bring
cash flow, all right, It will help you build testimonials, skills,

(05:10):
and confidence that you can later use in your own business.
All right. And then we come to good old affiliate marketing.
All right. You can earn by recommending what you already
love and use. Okay, You already share things you like.

(05:33):
You do it all the time, a Netflix show, an app,
maybe something on Amazon. Okay, so why not get paid
for it? All right? Affiliate marketing let you earn commission
every time someone buys something through your custom link. All right.
So you can pick like one to three programs that
align with your interests, maybe Canva, Amazon Racketing, or build

(05:59):
business tools like Systemio or even Groove. Okay, if there's
so many different programs. Matter of fact, there's thousands of them.
Almost every company and business has an affiliate program. So
if there's something you love, whether it's a software or

(06:21):
product or whatever. Right, the best way and the quickest
way to find out if they do, obviously, aside from
googling if they do, is you can go directly to
their main website. Usually scroll all the way to the
very bottom, like by the footer and stuff like that. Okay,
and you if they do, you'll see something that says

(06:41):
affiliate program, affiliate sign up, affiliate log in, something with
affiliate next to it. Okay. If they do, they have
a program, sign up for it. Okay. And if you
get accepted into the program, then boom, Now you have
a link and you can promote that product or and
anytime somebody purchases using your link, well then guess what

(07:07):
you make a commission. So don't sleep on affiliate marketing. Okay.
You want to create content showing how you use the
product and drop your link in a natural way. Okay,
try not to be overly salesy about it. Just be like,
look this dope thing or dope product. Help me with xyz.

(07:32):
You should totally check it out or you know, simple
stuff like that. Okay. And you want to focus on
trust and consistency, not the hype. All right, So when
people see actually use what you share, they're going to
buy quicker with less hesitation. Okay. But if you're like promoting, promoting, promoting,

(07:53):
but they don't ever see you using wearing, having, et cetera. Right,
then it might not be received as well and create
more of that. Man, they got it, they use it,
they love it. I need that, you know, And that's
that's what we want to create. And over time, affiliate
income become semi passive and will stack on top of

(08:17):
your other streams. All right. So this is where that
multiple stream income ideology plays a hand. Okay. Now, next
is the reselling and flipping, all right. You want to
turn unused items into cash, all right, So you don't

(08:37):
always need to start something new, because sometimes money is
sitting right in your house, all right. So clean out
your closet, your garage or storage and list things on Facebook, Marketplace, Poshmark,
or mccari all right. Start with what you already own.
Then graduate into flipping all right, thrift fines, yard sale deals,

(09:00):
or even clearance items that can resell for more money.
All right. People underestimate how fast you can earn a
few hundred dollars this way, all right. And it also
clears space, and it's going to give you momentum. That
first sale often reignites motivation to do even more and
to keep going. All right. Now, micro content creation, okay,

(09:26):
getting paid for posting. Now. Look, I know I told
y'all three ways, but really I felt like it wasn't enough,
which is why we're actually on option number five here,
which is the micro content creation. All right. So platforms
like Facebook, reels, TikTok, and YouTube shorts now pay creators

(09:49):
for their views, engagement, and performance, all right. And you
don't need a huge following, but you need consistent, quality
content that's going to connect, all right, So start with
your phone. Create short, valuable or entertaining clips tied to
your niche, whether it's motivation, lifestyle, tips, reviews, et cetera. Right,

(10:12):
monetization really can come from platform payouts or brand deals
or affiliate links or driving traffic to your own offers. Okay,
there's lots of ways that you can think of monetization
on social media outside of just the views and engagement. Okay. So,

(10:35):
like I always say, it's best to have something to
offer the people you're engaging with as well as trying
to earn that in that Facebook monetization check. Right, So
you know, if you're a Facebook creator and you don't
have a product, then maybe think about creating one, or
you know, you can find somebody that has great already

(10:57):
done for you products with rights to resell it and
then start making money right away, not only utilizing the
product yourself, but reselling it right away to make your
money back and start earning more money. Okay. And if
you don't know anybody like that, ding ding ding, Hello, knock, knock, knock,

(11:19):
I'm right here, okay, you can surely come to JMP
empires dot com. All right. I have lots and lots
and lots of resources from courses to books, to digital
products to PLR products, which is the you know, the
private label resell rights I just spoke about, and motivation

(11:43):
and then you know, it's just a lot. It's just
a lot going on there, right. So if you go
to JMP empires dot com, you can go to the
main page, or you can forward slash VBC, which stands
for a Virtual business Card, and that will take you
to my personal business card page with select things already

(12:04):
picked out just for you to help you on your journey. Okay. Now,
the secret is you want to pick a theme and
post often, all right, Let people grow with you, not
just watch from afar, all right. So I hope out

(12:24):
of those five ideas, one of those resonates with you
and sounds to you like something you can for surely
get to doing today right away and making you smote
lap all right. So with that said, I'm gonna give
you three journal prompts. All right. I want you to
write these down, answer them when truth resonate, marinate in

(12:49):
them answers okay, and then implement what you need to
implement to elevate. All right. So journal prompt number one,
each of these five side hustles fits my lifestyle and
skills the best right now. Journal Prompt number two, what's

(13:13):
one action step I can take within the next forty
eight hours to get started? And three? What limiting belief
about starting something new? Am I ready to let go of? Okay?
Now you know we're gonna get into these affirmations, all right.

(13:35):
I've got five of them. You can do one each
day or all five every day, just as always, make
sure you repeat each one three times, three times each time,
like I like to say. All right, So right now,
I'm gonna say one, you're gonna repeat after me, and
we're gonna move on to the next one later when

(13:56):
you do them on your own three times each time,
all right, New opportunities flow to me easily and often.
I am capable of creating multiple streams of income. My

(14:20):
skills and ideas have real value in the marketplace. I
attract clients, customers, and cash with confidence. I am building wealth, freedom,

(14:42):
and legacy on my own terms. And so it is
you guys, Now listen up. Next week, we're gonna be
shifting a little. We're gonna be going from building wealth
in your business to building wealth in your body. Okay,

(15:03):
because what good is the bag if we don't have
the energy to enjoy it? Right, So we're gonna be
talking rest, reset, and routines that fuel your grind, all right,
So until next time, Remember the biggest difference between a
dream and income is action. So where you are, start

(15:27):
where you are, use what you have and believe that
you can. And remember your only limit is you

The Burden

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
