These Walls of Unforgiveness

True forgiveness is not just about letting "THEM" off the hook; it's about letting yourself into a new dimension of freedom. The ultimate act of forgiveness was demonstrated on a hill called Calvary.

God has forgiven you. That means you and I were at that cross as enemies of Jesus, while we were yet sinners (Romans 5:8), spitting in His face, gambling for His clothes, mocking His name.

But Jesus looked down at US from the cross and said, “Father, forgive them.” He forgave us before we ever asked for it! He cancelled a debt we could never pay. Forgiveness is not an emotional feeling, it is a judicial decision based on the finished work of the cross. You don’t forgive because "THEY" deserve it.

You forgive because Jesus forgave you.  He died for YOU!

And you must DIE to Unforgiveness.....
