another segment of setting it Straight with Missus Gray and
her fabulous co hosts. Hey, co hosts, how you doing.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
I'm digging your hair.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
I'll talk about that in a minute, But Trey, would
you mind leading us in prayer tonight?

Speaker 4 (01:47):
I sure don't.

Speaker 5 (01:49):
Heavenly Father, thank you for another show tonight, which is
your show. Please help us to help others that are
going through something that just don't know where to turn.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
I pray that you build on a fence.

Speaker 5 (02:04):
I had you protection for them that are going through
things financially, spiritually, emotionally those who might be experiencing grief
and loss, and we pray for those persons or having
any father please continue to watch over us as you
do and guide us to have a great show tonight.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
He's prayer asking your name.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Amen, Amen and amen, thank you so much. Yes, my hair,
My daughter came over because she she came back and
I came over. But she between classes and stuff. Then
she and the boyfriend go out for their dates and
they have their mini date and so I said, he
came over and I said, well, you gotta finish taking
my hair. I had the halo braid. And she's like, okay,

(02:49):
I like to I have to give her heads up.
You know that she's got to do that. That I'm
expecting that. But I sat here and I got it
out myself, and I got up to here because the
halo braids, they brush your hair, you know, your hair's
all over here and they do one braid around. So
I was I didn't want my hair to follow my face.
And I'm like, oh my god. So anyway, long story short,
I asked the boyfriend. She brought the boyfriend and I said,

(03:11):
I need you to take my hair. Can you help
me take the rest of my hair down? And she's like, mo,
I said, I'm not talking to you, I'm talking to him.
He's a licensed barber.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
Now, wow, he can do her.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
You know, how are you doing? Take a break out?
And I know you're so nervous and she said, oh,
my mom's tender headed. I was like another heavy hander anyway,
so I said, yeah, just give me a little part,
a little sweep here there, and we'll go from there. So, yes,
this is my hair, guys, this is what I look
like in the fifth grade, sixth fifth grade. It's no

(03:42):
sixth grade picture my mom the moment that was picture
day and she broke afro comb on my hair trying
to comb it out, and ness when she said, I
got to put a perm in your hair and that
was my years of perm ness and uh seventh, my
hair has been natural for seven years now, so I've

(04:03):
always had a permitute. So this is this is natural.
And you know, we got similar hair, so I know
he's probably saying, you know, see where you get it from.
But you need to let your hair breast a little bit,
and you know, because of the braiding and stuff like that,
and all like this stuff. But it's gonna be hot,
and I know i'll have this probably in a ponytail

(04:24):
tomorrow when I get out, because but I want to
see how long I'm gonna let it go. It's really down.
So God is good.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Wow blowing, that's right, and I have to bring it up.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Thank you, thank you, thank you. God is good. Guys,
you know, and in this scripture that we are a
man's glory and our hair is our glory. That's scripture.
So you want to always take care of your hair
to the best of your ability and because it's a
part of you and God regards it and as a scripture.
But and it's also scriptures on how to take care

(05:02):
of the widow. And we'll talk about that a little bit.
But I wanted to give a shout out to some
special people. It's about twelve of them, and I didn't
know where they all lived until I got this special
package in the mail and I've got it on all
my social media because I could not believe that I

(05:23):
knew about maybe five of them. I disgusted, but I
didn't know about the other seven. And you know, to
come together and to make a plan to gift someone
and to be on one accord and you do your part,
I do my part and you're in several different states

(05:43):
has just made this get my gifts. Our scarfs are
kind of overwhelming for me because once I asked our engineer, AKA,
if we didn't if we didn't have her, we wouldn't
be nowhere. We wouldn't be nowhere Miss Rebel, and I asked, well,

(06:05):
what states is everybody? And I was not sure about Charles,
but I knew like the cluster, you know, the main
folks were, you know, in the Mississippi, you know, Louisiana
kind of area, so I thought, and she gave me
all these I was like, what Tennis, what what? Oh, Georgia,
what Colorado and stuff? So it was thank you all

(06:26):
so much from the bottom of my heart. Made my kid,
you know, I think, you know, with Belicia and Donald
are like wow, it just it's spoke for itself. And
thank you for everybody that knitted, everybody that was on
the planning committee, everybody that got all the supplies together,
everybody that handled it until it arrived in my po box.

(06:48):
Thank you so much. I'm going to ury. I'm looking
forward to cool a little coolness. In the for all
in the winter months, because I will be sporting that,
Yes I will. And when people say, well, where'd you
get it? Oh, this was a gift for my viewers,
our viewers on the podcast. You wouldn't know about it
because you don't even look at the podcast. You don't
even listen to the butt. We come back and we

(07:09):
come back about you could just roll and if you
don't talk to yourself to tell yourself to dial it down,
you know you can get cured away, you know so.
But thank you all God, bless each and every one
of you are now that I know there's some additional

(07:29):
folk out there. You're in our prayers as long as
I say you're in our prayers. It's been a week.
It's been a week. Uh so much anger. O. Things
can get out of out of control so quickly over
a statement over somebody expressing themselves. And there's so many

(07:50):
people in the world. I don't think based on some
of these comments, I'm seeing there's a lot of people
who are in a space that where they can't express
themselves and if they didn't have YouTube or Facebook, they
probably would spontaneously combust. And we have a right, you
have a right to your feelings. But when you say

(08:12):
that you profess Jesus Christ, not just going to church.
But when you say that you're a believer, you need
to kind of sound a little different because you're always
working on yourself. You're always working on your flesh. You're
always taming that thing and telling it, okay, stay down, now,
stay down, Let's do this. Let me think this out,

(08:35):
and I have to read something to you all. It
was so funny. It was funny to me. But as
I told you all that, my thing is, oh, I
don't want to I have a whole different view of
the tariffs and stuff and in regards back pay to
the America, to the United States, and I say, just

(08:57):
don't inflate me. So that was my prayer. That's my prayer.
I know, if there's inflation going on that supposedly is
going to go on or whatever, I get it. And
of course with the anger, with the opinions and the commentary,
that's just gonna trigger it and edge it on you
calling people names, you know, and stuff like that because
you don't like the way they're doing stuff. And I yeah, okay, however,

(09:20):
you need to express yourself. But I'm talking to praying folk,
because I told you my prayer is don't inflate me,
and I just read it before we came on that
amid this is what the federation, the federal the fads
now let me get the right name. Oh god did I? Well? Anyway,
those who the federal government, the Federal Reserve, there we

(09:42):
go that determines inflation, has said amid the teriff turmoil, Uh,
they're really thinking about reducing the interest rates because they
said that we don't even know if it's gonna with
this tariffs, when it's gonna when we're gonna start seeing

(10:02):
that spill out, and also if it's going to have
maybe a little to no effect to where we would
have to raise rates. And the see the head of
the Federal Board of Governor female said that they should
be they should consider cutting it as key interest rates

(10:22):
as soon as the next meeting, which is in what
next month. I'm just reading what's in black and white.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
Well last month they last week they announced that they
kept the interest rates the same because there was no need. So, uh,
this is where it created a big hoopla in regards
to if if everything is starting to reveal that the
the inflation rates should be loosening its grip, that the

(10:52):
federal reserves should be able to reflect that. However, you know,
there there's there's some thing that's not being revealed that
that it's it's it's eying us down to where we
are and and to me and and and this is
just me. And then you know someone is making money.

(11:15):
They don't want to the grip that cash cow is
still giving milk, and they do not want to do
anything because they are they're benefiting from it.

Speaker 2 (11:27):
Yeah, but and that's in the world. Go ahead, I'm saying, I've.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
Got news for you. I got news for you. There's
someone much greater. You're gonna have to answer. No, I'm
just gonna leave it.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
Oh yeah, as a matter of fact, I'm gonna take
it another a little step, a little step deeper. You
don't you won't sleep until you're revealed and exposed. You
won't sleep until it's revealed and exposed. I still go
back to my prayer, don't inflate me now. My god
daughter lovingly text me this morning, my oldest one, and
she said, hey, it's already you know, with what's going
on with these wars, they the Iran is already cutting

(12:01):
off the gas and the oil, so you better go
fill up. So I go to my wah wah, my
trusted gas station, and it was less than it was
last week. Gas was two ninety nine. I filled up
because I needed to anyway, And I'm gonna let everybody
know on the show. Keep your ear out for that. Now,
keep your ear out. Now, we've had plenty, We've had
a few years, even with a Democrat president in between,

(12:24):
to be drilling in the United States. So you should
have found some oil things here in the United States.
If the Bush family made their you know, their tree
is off of it. Certainly, Certainly there's there's oil somewhere
in the United States. So you've had time to drill.
So they now if you didn't do it, that's But
my gas was two ninety nine this morning. It's after
mid morning, and we're watching it toil Belicia, I said.

(12:46):
I texted her, I said, you are you full of
the tank full? She said no. I said, okay, Well
just watch it. Tell me how much it is. So
she went to seven eleven, so she'll tell me later
how much hers is.

Speaker 4 (12:55):
But it didn't hike.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
Here in central Florida, they went down with it.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
We even saw it as low here in where I'm
where I live in Bribard County, it was as low
as to sixty nine what to sixty nine? Wow out
touch on that about the gas and they're tightening. I
read that by them doing that affecting twenty percent the

(13:24):
production of the world. So the other countries that do
not have resources that are found here the affected than
we are. And to answer your question, miss gray of
in regards to that, someone should have drilled and found something.

(13:44):
Oh yeah, they've shot it. But remember it was shut down.
So because it was shut down, needs to get primed,
and it needs to have the production level that it
had at one point time, so they can be able
to start being dependent on our energy instead of the

(14:08):
energy that was being brought in from overseas. So it's
just a matter of replenishing the inventory. And that was
where we were. The energy from the overseas was starting
to shrink while the production was starting to come up.
So eventually it's going to level off. Then we get
the benefit of it because of the lower gas prices.

(14:30):
So if I can just chime in on something real
quick with all of this noise, and I sent the
message to my students who attend the services. And I'm like,
don't listen to the noise because in Matthew twenty four,

(14:51):
verses forty two through forty five, Jesus makes it very clear,
be alert, be alert. You have studied the Bible and
you've read it, and you understand it. All this has
happened because there's something greater that's going to be revealed.

(15:12):
And it's just a matter for us to to to
place our trust in God and and and here, and
I'm gonna I'm gonna, you know, a little nugget here.
God's already written the book. He's already written the story. Yeah,
he already. It's already done. Okay, focus on Christ, just
focus on Jesus. Let it all play out, because in

(15:35):
the end you will see why we had to go
through what we had to go through. Then want our trust.
With our trust on God, we will receive from a crown.
That's what it's all about.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
And and there's just to take you know, tag along
with you. I always ask the question, how many of
you if you knew that you had to train a judas,
how many of you would do it? Now? Knowing the
back back end at all. We're not having another resurrection,
We're not having another crucifixion. But if you knew you
had to train a Judas, and some of you have

(16:08):
had to train a Judas because they took your job,
you were demoted and you had to train the person
was in your coming into your position, how many of
you would knowingly train a Judas. My whole point around
that question is Jesus knew that Judas had to go
do what he had to do. I said this last week.

(16:29):
I believe, or we wouldn't be here. This story would
have ended. The Bible would have ended a long time ago.
There would be no nothing here, nothing, It would just
go to nothing. Probably we don't even know. We don't
even know. So yes, don't get don't take everything you
hear on Fox News or CNN or MSBC whatever, okay,

(16:53):
and and Forbes magazine and and and breads and all that. No, no, no, listen,
but ask for wisdom. Like my cousin Solomon did. He
inherited everything that his daddy had. He goes and it
wasn't until the evening after he had what prayed and
he left the offering. And I want to talk to
you all about how y'all look at money, because I

(17:15):
believe that this is something. Well, the people I know
that's in debt, that is way below the poverty line,
their view of money is really different. And we'll talk
about that another time. We don't have time tonight, but
I want to put that out. The way you view money,
it's very key to how you spend, how you saved,
how you work just to pay your bills versus working

(17:38):
to leave that legacy and inheritance to your children's children.
That's a whole you know, it's a whole thing. We'll
talk about that. You still have to watch and pray,
and again you need, like Pastor said, you got to
study your word. We're not making this up. We didn't
go to a conference and hear this from someone. We
have studied the Bible itself and studied means. To have

(18:01):
your pen and pad ready, and your pencil whatever your
writing utensil is, and your highlighters. If you come to
my house, I've got cups of pens and highlighters and
sharpies all over the place because I never know when
I'm gonna grab a word. I see a word or
hear a word, and I want to get those scriptures
down because I can't remember everything, not trying to. You
have to study the word. And like I said last week,

(18:24):
it's more than we're beyond. It's application time. And now
it's like now when we get the final realm of lifestyle.
First you teach, you get taught. You be the student.
You learn, you read, you study, You meditate on his
word day and night. You watch and pray, you fast

(18:45):
and pray. You enter his course of thanksgiving and praise.
You give up your first fruit. You're tithe, you're offering.
It all runs simultaneous. Then after a while, after you
become that student of the word, then you move into
it's application time. You to put into practice what you've learned,
what you've studied. And I think now this in this

(19:06):
end piece, this last piece, this last leg, this last trek,
even if it's for a thousand more years, it's all
about lifestyle. Now, it's lifestyle. It's not about what you know.
And you know what title you have. And and even
though I'm a highly educated young lady, education has this
place in my life. But I'm a student. I'm a
child of the King. That's more important than me. He

(19:29):
gives me my strength, his word strengthens me. Amen. And
now it's here. I told you, I've been telling you.
We've been saying it's here, that it that's coming. It's here. Now.
We don't know what we don't We didn't know what
was gonna look like. We didn't know it was gonna
get in going to Hollywood and revealing exposed over there,
and we didn't know it was gonna expose human trafficking

(19:50):
and all this cop We didn't know what it was
gonna look like, but we knew that it was coming.
That it is here because every arena is affected. Every
arena is affected, education, business, small business, church, Every arena
known to man is now affected. And it's just peeling

(20:11):
that banana or cutting that onion, or peeling that onion
because we don't know what the next layer is gonna
look like. But it's here. And there's no rumor of
war Russia and Ukraine, Iran in Israel. There's no room.
That's not a rumor that's real. But we've heard forever
rumors of wars or I heard Turkey was gonna go
after sweeping. I heard that, you know, this was you know,

(20:35):
and Denmark is going out to Switzerland in it but
it was just it never came in the thing. I know,
I've really over exaggerated those two those countries, but for
the most part, there was rumors. Nothing came to pack
and there are wars now and we're here. So, like
I said, everybody to each his own, I'm not here
to criticize nobody at this time. I am not here.

(20:58):
Well you know if it was me, uh uh, I
don't even have that as a part of my vocabulary.
I know what I need to be praying about. And
guess what, that which I have prayed about is come
to pass. I'm seeing results. I'm seeing resolution. I'm seeing
conversations between people who don't want to talk to each other.
I'm just watching. I'm telling defective prayers, effective prayers, praying

(21:21):
strategically and specifically. And I told you what I prayed about.
You can go after terriffs. Sorry, y'all, y'all, y'all lost,
y'all borrow a lot of money from us over the
billion years we've been in existance. But don't inflate me.
Don't inflate me. And there's some there's that, there's there's
there's money out there that's been found. Okay, I want

(21:42):
my five thousand dollars. That's the number floating around. I
want my five thousand dollars. And also our governor was
talking about you know that homestad money again, I want
my thousand dollars by December, because the Bible says, what
you have not because you don't ask, you have not
because you asked nothing. Our head pastor, you're chomping, And
I'm then I'm going to get into widowhood and stuff,
the elderly and stuff.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
Go for it. I just want take what you just said.
And and this is what I mean by this show.
Actually it's run by God. You go to Second Thessalonians,
chapter two, verse three says and I'm going to read
the New Living translation. So this way it's a whole

(22:25):
lot easier to digest it. What was the chapter chapter two? Okay,
and it says, don't be fooled by what they say.
You just said, don't listen to the media, right, okay,
for the day will not come and this is the
coming of Christ until there's a great rebellion against God

(22:50):
and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the one who
brings destructions. So this is why, this is why we
have to understand not to panic because all of this
has to happen first, and we're and we're we're guiding you,

(23:11):
we're preparing you. And it's so funny, you know. And
and I'll close out with this. I wrote a paper
exactly what you just said.

Speaker 4 (23:20):
Of course you did.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
That student, what you just said, and and.

Speaker 3 (23:27):
The title is personal disciple making. Here's a paper. It
was a sermon I had to write for my school.
And exactly what you just said is what I put
in here. So I'm telling you, folks, this is a
spirit driven show and I'm gonna bring out the street

(23:49):
out of me. We don't play. I'll just leave it
at that.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
Amen, you see that you saw that trade, right, you
saw he had to justice up that. We don't. We
don't play. We don't We're not making this up. We
don't want you to be hurt. And more importantly, we
don't want you to be surprised. We don't want you
to be surprised. And for some reason, Amen, hey Elda
k that's Tennessee is in the house. We don't want

(24:15):
you to be surprised. We don't want you to say, well,
uh uh okay, like okay, God, what do I do next?
What's my next? For the kingdom? I dare you to
ask it, what's my next? But if you're studying your word,
you'll know you have to pray without ceasing. You got
to study your word to show your self approved, to
rightly divide the truth. It's a whole sentence there. It's

(24:38):
not just study and show your self approved. What proved
to do what nobody would ask me. It's the rest
of the verse. So you could rightly divide the truth?

Speaker 3 (24:46):
Amen?

Speaker 2 (24:47):
Amen, you know. And and the Devi was such a duplicator,
he's such a rep he can't he can't think of
nothing on his own. None of things that says Satan
fell from was dismissed, thrown out of heaven. He he
has never been able to make up something on his own.
He can't because he got he what. He was there
with the word. He was there when they made the word,
they talked the word, They spoke the word before the

(25:09):
scribes even came along to document the word. So all
he knows what he's been, what what heart? That's only no,
my God, that came fresh from heaven. Come on now,
so those of you and I know it's not my
faithful fe but whoever will see this later on and
go back and accidentally fall in this because it's eeheart,

(25:31):
or or because it's on I Tunes or whatever, and
you fall and you're captivated. What they gonna say next, Well,
I'm talking to you. That's that's what I'm talking to you.
Who you want to follow? You know yourself. You want
to come up with your own things like you don't
think nobody will see through you. You're not a threat
to us. You don't bother us. You wasted your time
because you don't think. My God, who sits I looks low,

(25:52):
don't even already know what you're gonna do. We don't
know what you're gonna do until you do it. But
God already knows what's in your heart, and he's waiting
to see if once it goes from the heart to
hear what okay, what they're gonna do? Because the next
thing is coming out your mouth, your behavior, Cut it out,
cut it out. You're not full of humps, now, pastor,

(26:12):
because pastors are pastor, pastors pray for everybody. Those of
us who represent the other category, the other jobs, goodbye, goodbye.
So let the door hit you because we don't have time. Now.
Now it's time. And the beautiful thing is that blessings
are coming. Blessed God is getting ready to pour. I
was at the story the other day and I just

(26:33):
felt that the Holy Spirit just felt I said, ooh,
what you getting ready to do? You getting ready? You
get ready to bless our socks off? You think you've
been blessed?

Speaker 3 (26:42):
You don't.

Speaker 2 (26:42):
You don't even know. You don't even know He's getting
ready to do it. And I want to gently segue
into our topic tonight because it's International Widows Month and
I just want you to know because many people have
disregard when I became a widow.

Speaker 5 (26:59):
I don't know what that was.

Speaker 2 (27:01):
I don't people are like, oh, you know, for a minute,
gave me some cards, sent me some money, brought some
food over for the kids, you know, for the us
to eat. Then all of a sudden it just stopped.
And I'm still I'm like, okay, So most people you
know Orlando don't really know me, as well as some
folks from my hometown. But I'm what you call a
delayed reaction person. I can hear the news, I can

(27:22):
make the arrangements and things like that. It's after everything's over,
after everybody's gone, after the kitchen is clean, that's when
you need to come find me. So, but the folks
up here in Orlando wouldn't know that. So everything you know.
And then I had one person to say, yeah, okay,
you know you've been a widow. And I'm like, what
are you gonna say next? Because I've got fourteen verses.

(27:44):
God is the father of the fatherless and the defender
of the widows. That's one out of fourteen scriptures concerning
the widow. And it's always coupled with the widow and
the orphan. It's always coupled that. Those two are those
two populations, widows and orphaned children, motherless fatherless children are

(28:04):
always coupled together. And God said, don't don't get this twisted.
I need you to take care of them. So, younger people,
if you know of some folks, go blow their lawn,
go knock on the door. Do you need some grocery?
Because our lives change and we don't know how to pivot.
Depending on how long the person who passed on was

(28:26):
suffering was ill. My mom was ill for eight years.
And I watched deterioration. I watched it. It took her.
Alzheimers just took her personality, took her mind. She didn't
even know my name for four years until God intervened.
And I know you all know the story. I'm gonna
say it real fast, just as a reminder because I

(28:46):
got some newbies on here. I got a calls in church,
thank god, the nursing homes right next door to the church.
I got. Somebody beated me. The nursing home beaped me.
I went to the payphone in the lobby. They said,
your mom's balls are backing up. We're sitting into the hospital. Okay.
Went to the pastor, said I need you to pray
my mom. Is you know open next door, and to
send her to the hospital. He prayed real quick. I

(29:07):
was out of there, and I wore red and black
that day, red and black that day. Went to the
nursing home. I walked straight through. I never check in
or get a backage. I just walked straight through, went
to the first count, and then as I opened up
the main doors, all of these folks in the wheelchairs
and then were gnarling and drooling and everything else, said
get the behind me, Satan, and they parted. So I

(29:28):
went to the desk, and I said, I'm here from
my mom, and you know, give him the name. And
they're like, oh, she's in the cafeteria. And I looked
at him and said, y'ah, so stupid. You just I
guess I just got a call that she's going to
the hospital. Things are backing up in her but you
took her to the cafeteria by this time. My mother
cannot sit up straight in a wheelchair, so she's posed

(29:48):
if she's sitting up, if she's in a wheelchair, if
she's out of her bed, then she's posed to the wheelchair,
meaning that she's tied to the wheelchair. And I'm already okay,
I got tired to fight. This is it. I got
to get my mom. Make sure my mom's go into heaven.
Long story short, go in there. Everybody's in there, the
aids are feeding the patients. I can't see my mom.
My mom is as dark as my hair. Still can't

(30:10):
see her. And I stood up and I said, Lord,
you promised me. As my dad fell dead in my
arms and my mother called his name out, I looked up.
I said, God, you gotta help me make sure she
makes it in. They got to be together, just because
they took care of me. You promised me, and I
did this and I looked down and she was right

(30:30):
in front of me. Puse it to the chair.

Speaker 3 (30:32):
She was murmuring.

Speaker 2 (30:33):
At that point, bcoma and cataracts had covered her eyes.
And I'm looking and there was an aid at the table,
and I said, mommy, and she I said, God, you
promised me. I got to get her to you. This
is who I am. I gotta get my mother to you.
And all of a sudden, I push up window and
I can see the blue sky and a window went up.

(30:55):
When the window went up, she sat straight up in
the chair and I looked at her and there was
no fin over her eye. And I said, mommy. She
said yes, Lisa, Hey. I said, okay. I said, mommy,
I need you to repeat after me. And I let
her through a sinner's repentance prayer. There's all kinds. Whatever
God told me to say, I said it. She repeated
after me. I said, Mommy, you're going to be in pain.

(31:16):
And you can't call Daddy's name. You can't call Aunt
Mary's name. Her sister Alice named her sister, her brother
uncle Fred and uncle sammy uncle, saying you can't call
none of the names. She said, okay. I said, no,
I need you to call on Jesus. I need you
to call on Jesus. I said, can you say Jesus?
She said Jesus. I said, no, say Jesus. She said Jesus.
I said, okay, who I said, Mommy, you didn't know

(31:38):
I had a little boy. I had a son. She goes,
you did. I said, yeah, I can't bring him in.
These too many demons in here. She said, yeah, I
don't want you to bring him in. All of a sudden,
the windows start to go down. I could see the
window and the window would go down, and then she
was going down. She was going back, just going back,
and I started to cry. Then I said, Jesus, get her, please,
get her, just be waiting on her. She's please for

(32:01):
what they've done for me. It gave me their best.
They didn't have much, but I didn't know it, and
you promised me. And she went down. I said, Mommy,
I love you. She said, I love you too, and
then she went back to her position. The aide was
sitting there and she just had to school. She was
just I said, you need to feed him, you miss,

(32:22):
cause she's like, and I walked out. My mom went
to the hospital. I gave me another week with her,
but I know she went to heaven because he promised me.
He promised me. I gave my life to him for
them for the rest of their years, just so they
can make it in so. I have a deep love
and respect for my elderly, and that's what most of

(32:44):
my nonprofit work that I do and will resume doing.
You're to honor your elderly. I know, I know this
has been history. I know some of you are not
talking to your people. I know I know this family drama.
I know been there, done that, and your point and
your point, no trade took care of both her parents.

(33:05):
We don't even think about it. Oh, I'm sacrificing my life.
The devil is a liar. You to honor them, you
don't have to roll out the red carpet. You don't
have to go and take them a bottle of wine
every time you see them. No, that's not honor. That's
not honor. The honor is okay, what do you need? Well,
you can't live with me because of our history, but
I'll find you a place to live if you're hungry.

(33:26):
Let me know God, wherever my parents are, wherever my
mother is, wherever my father is that left me all
those years ago, that left me as an orphan, wherever
they may be. If you have given your life to Christ,
you are forgiving people left and right. You're forgiving people
left and right. I don't I know the dirt.

Speaker 3 (33:45):
I know it.

Speaker 2 (33:46):
I'm a social work. I've heard it all. There's no
new story out there. And if you've got adult children
living with you, everybody needs to be paying their peace
now at this point, they probably can't go out there
and get an apartment or whatever. I don't care how
they keep saying that it is, but everybody needs to
be paying their bills in your house, if they eat,

(34:06):
they need to be a part of the grocery. You
need to cut this out. How did you raise your child?
I'll go ahead and to take a minute.

Speaker 5 (34:12):
You know, we only do what we can do, you know,
as caregivers. But I think, Wisha, I know you took
care of your parents, you know, And I know that
dare in heaven. So they were children of guard and
so are you and you're you're you're passing that on
to your children. And I know that and it's you know,

(34:34):
caregiving or or or being a caregiver is not easy
at all, the day to day struggle.

Speaker 4 (34:42):
Each person handles it a little differently.

Speaker 5 (34:45):
And but we always want the best for our loved one,
you know, we always want the best. And so knowing
that you know you've done all you could before they
left here, can rest easy. You know, honor their mother
and their father, and your days will be long. And
I saying it right, and your days will be long.

Speaker 4 (35:04):
And so I know a lot of us have some.

Speaker 5 (35:07):
Longevity because of the honor of our parents, mother, father,
or you know, grandparent or whoever you know taken care of.
But it's you know, sometimes it's bittersweet, you know, strugglers
still there, missing them, miss the times. But you know,
as long as you got them in your heart, you
know they're okay. Because right now, the way these times are,

(35:30):
I don't I wouldn't have want my parents.

Speaker 4 (35:34):
It's too much.

Speaker 5 (35:35):
And I'm so very sorry for a lot of the
children or young people that have to experience what's going
on right now, or have experienced the education system. It
was different when I was coming up. We learned a
whole lot of things, not just educational stuff related to
you know, math or English. We learned how to treat

(35:58):
other people, We learn lifelong. Just my heart is heavy
for people trying to navigate life right now, especially if
they're young.

Speaker 4 (36:10):
And so that's what I have to say right now.

Speaker 2 (36:14):
I sent a thank you to the guidance counselor from
the from Donald and the Twins Elementary School, and she said, no,
I thank you because they were raised with assured an
assured foundation. I had no problems with your children and
they were so mannerable, so I need to be thanking you.
She said that. To sit that to me today, I said, God,

(36:35):
bless you if I got to give you your flowers.

Speaker 6 (36:38):
But yeah, and I'd like to just just throw out
there too, if anyone is you know, has any issues
or want to no resources, or just want some kind
of moral support, if they are airgiver currently or have
lost someone, you know, I can say, reach out, you know,

(37:02):
reach out to us, because I think we tried to
be as transparent and genuine as possible and about the
grace of God there go.

Speaker 3 (37:09):
Ay, I have to just simply say that we, you know,
for for a long period of time, I when I
was born, my mom was forty two years old, and
I know that wasn't It was a handful and my
mom did her best. And that's something that we all

(37:32):
have to understand that not you know, sometimes even my
dad did the best he could, even though he had
his issues. But the bottom line is they did the
best they could. Me being for a time I was
a single dad and I did the best I could,
and even though I struggled. They kids don't. The kids

(37:57):
today don't look at it at the older folks as
people who care or or wise or people that have
gone through some things. Some kids feel that they have
all the answers. And if my question is, if you
have all the answers, then why did God need us
to bring you into the world. You know that that's

(38:19):
just something that we have to take it to consideration.
The bottom line is that, you know, God utilized us
to be the parents, and God.

Speaker 2 (38:29):
Help me and my daughter. I can see the work
God is in my son is But God, Amen, l K,
thank you Amen. You know what.

Speaker 3 (38:38):
My mother passed of Alzheimer's. My sister is going through
Alzheimer's now, and my sister is.

Speaker 4 (38:44):
Eighty eighty eight, and.

Speaker 3 (38:48):
He knows my older brother and everybody else. I don't
exist in her life, but I understand what the sickness
is and that's something that we have to be able
to help others who are struggling, and that way we
can be able to be a support. And we're not

(39:09):
trying to be a hindrance. We're being a support and
that's what's what's key. And you know, you may think
you know, but we've we we ran into the wall
four or five times to know. So we're giving them
some good advice and kind of close out. For Timothy
five to three, does take care of any widow who

(39:33):
has no one else care for her. It's that's instructions
from the Apostle Paul. And we have to understand the Bible,
God's word, and the Apostle Paul was the mouthpiece and
he had ascribe right now what he told to say.
So it didn't say take care of any particular widow. No,

(39:55):
take care of all widow. And that's that's what we
we as representation of the Kingdom. How we help others
is a representation of Kingdom of Christ. That's how we
have to walk.

Speaker 4 (40:11):
We walk with the.

Speaker 3 (40:12):
Authority given to us representation of the Kingdom. That's how
they the world will know who are is this life
a then.

Speaker 2 (40:23):
So thank you all out there in viewership land. We
appreciate you. We feel your hearts and everything else, and
you know our hearts as well. We love you with
the love of God. We thank you so much for tonight.
But that's it, and we got one more Monday in
the month of June. Can you believe that one more Monday? Anyway? Anyway,
y'all be blessed and be watchful, be listening for God's

(40:48):
direction that night. We love you, Papa,
