Good evening and welcome to setting it straight with Missus
Gray and her fabulous co host. And that music did
this to me, Guys, I'm telling you, I was just gone.
I mean, we could just play the whole segment in music.
(02:23):
That's what we're gonna do. Anyway, How are you doing,
miss Tray? How's the weather all the way in Virginia?
Speaker 3 (02:30):
Snow flurry, snow flurries.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Oh okay, okay, okay, that's different. That's different. She got
she's got the got the collar on there, so you know,
we know it's a little it's more than just a
cool breeze. She's got the collar on. Oh boy, will
you look gorgeous tonight? I don't know what. I don't
(02:55):
know what what sets you off today, but you are
not that you didn't look gorgeous before, but you just
got to glow on you. I don't know what that is.
Usually that's happening after you've had a time in his
presence and just to knowing to glorify him and to
note that he loves you. So I don't know what
it is, but it looks good on you. Hallelu There,
(03:16):
Mss craik K as always. You know you're doing your thing.
You look, you're all youthful as you are. How's your
day and weekend? Ben? And fine, that's it. Just one
word of answers tonight. Yeah, I mean, ain't nothing, you know,
you know, huh. Glad to be on break, Amen, she
(03:40):
is on break. She finished, and she slid into a
three point eight home base. Just gladly she slid right
on into that thing. Yes she did. Allelujah. One more,
two more semesters and we're done. Take Trey, you're gonna
have to come down for the graduation. I will get
you down here. We'll put you to Airbnb, and she's
gonna party in the area and be but you could
(04:01):
be the den mother, not because I'm not coming over there,
but so we're gonna you were gonna queue it up
and everything, but Trey will be the house mother and
you have to listen to her. We'll give you dates
and stuff. So planning your vacation. Here we go. It's
gonna be a party because I'm walking across the stage
with her. Okay, this is a team effort, and I've
been with her every step of the way. All the
(04:23):
money you don't charge just too. So yeah, I'm going.
And if you got a little refund check for me,
I'll pick it up while i'm there. So and just
pet the name out correctly. But Larry, and she's got
her menus. She's gonna be doing her soul food dinners
and stuff like that over the holiday. Oh yeah, over
the holiday. I think we're gonna do some Italian stuff
(04:45):
and seafood stuff and all that jazz. So and don't
be balking at the price, because a filet of catfish
is no joke. Okay, it's no joke. So we're gonna
do It'll be nice to you, but enjoy her cooking
and her dessert and everything else. We're gonna do things
a little differently and we're just gonna hit the ground running.
(05:05):
So she's gone through two three weeks out of school.
We're gonna we're gonna make it happen. Happen. Her handbags
are on the getting ready to be on the way.
They're getting ready to turn put them on the express trade,
so save your little Christmas money. We don't take no
no debit cards. It's gonna be cash money orders out. Okay,
don't don't be playing anyway. Yep, they'll be on their
(05:29):
boy and we're calling it the limited Edition. And I'm
just so glad that the company is in in in
the States and everything else, and there are more companies,
there's more businesses in the United States, and that's part
of my prayer that America's businesses come back home. You
come back and you land. I don't care how you
got here. You just get back here and let's do
(05:50):
cars everything else and stop balking and stuff that's going on. Guys,
prayers are being answered. You may not like it. It
may not be your prayer point, but it's mine. And
I know mine goes through this roof, through the powers
of Cubolus flowers above, and to the feet of Jesus
Christ into the throne room. I know my prayer gets through.
(06:12):
Can't speak about everybody else, but I know mine do.
So that's why I set it. I write the prayers
down and I had them on this this topic on
my setting It Straight page on Facebook. I shared with
a prophet, Uh Shanika. She's it ends with me. She's
changed the name of her ministry because it ends with me.
(06:32):
But I had to go and I checked my vision
board today. So we'll talk about that in a little
bit and we're gonna go back to topic. Don't don't
think we I'm I don't know what we need to
be talking about. Okay, in writing, I know, But I
have to tell you these things because you have. I
have to tell the goodness of God. And in this
one that she's like, you know, the wealth transfer is
(06:55):
happening as we speak. It is happening. And for those
who believe it, I'm telling you you got to look
to God. But what you don't want to make the
mistake of is say, oh, it's gonna come from here.
Oh no, she owes me money. It's got to come
from No no, no, no, no, no no no no. You're
boxing God.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
God.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
You're telling God. If it don't come from here that
I can see, then I know I'm not gonna get it.
No no, no, no, take that off the this don't
even put you. Don't fix your lips to say it.
And if you said it, repent now in the name
of Jesus. Where our audience at I know y'all out there.
Come on, everybody, come on in, come on in. But anyway, no,
we're not doing that. You've got to trust God and
(07:35):
take the handles off of it. Nowhere in scripture does
he say, now, now, you tell me what you need. No,
I judge you by your heart. I know what your
needs are. I've made you. It's just like being a parent.
I know my children, and even though they're twenty three
years old and thirty years old, thirty one years old,
I know my kids. I know my dog. I know you.
(07:57):
I didn't create my dog, but I know her. I've Hatterson.
She was taken from her mom. She was weaned from
her mom. I know you. So please don't don't don't
get this twisted. Hey get even eld. The cake to
the sea is in the house, Thank you Lord. Amen,
So don't take don't do that to God. Don't do
that to God. Say whatever you can do. So that's
(08:20):
why I want you to watch. Go and look up
on my setting it Straight page. If you've not joined it,
please feel free to join it. Miss Tray and our
administrators over but mainly Tray is she sees you coming in.
We will admit you in be playing, don't don't be playing.
We don't ask for comments in there. If we don't
(08:40):
do that, we just want you to see what we're posting. Okay,
So Prophet Shanika and I pulled my Today's the eighth,
the eighth of the month. Every thirty days, I get
to look at my vision board and I get to
check off how he's blessed. I had eighty one supernatural miracles, manifestations, healings, unbelievables,
(09:02):
eighty one things that I've asked for on that vision board.
And yes, you go back and you check, you recheck
things off if it happened, if I sold the book,
I'm checking that off. Yeah, so you keep going back
over it, that's what you do, and you keep counting them.
But I added the decrease, and there was some neat
decrees that she has. And I'm gonna say this briefly
and then we're gonna go on to tonight's show topic.
(09:24):
But this is what I did. Let's see if that's
the first one, fourteen, ten, thirteen, thirteen decrees. Okay, you
decree that your lack is over, God's abundance will flow
into every area of my life, decree that your hands
are trusted to be stored over all that God releases
(09:44):
into your life. Now, I see this is where we
got to stop for a minute, because I know everybody
in twenty twenty, we got all the stimulus money and
everything else. Rent was forgiven, rent back, rent was paid,
and all that kind of stuff to bring the landlords
up to speed up and bring you as well. Well.
But guess what, how can you expect to be blessed? Well,
(10:06):
you don't know how to manage money. The COVID didn't
take away the fact that you were behind in your rent,
and prior to COVID that you were behind in your rent,
and you paid your rent late. You paid your rent
when you want to. Sometimes you act like, well, they
got money, they got other properties. They don't miss that. No,
see that attitude, Your attitude did not some of y'all
(10:29):
attitude did not change in twenty twenty. You think somebody
owe you something, No, you need to work. You need
to work unless you're unable to work. And then you
got a whole battery of testing and proof that you
have to be able to nail that. Okay, So there
are times, I mean, y'all are nice people. I get it.
You give folks to shirt up your back, but you
(10:49):
can't manage money. So how can you expect God to
bless you with one hundred thousand dollars annual career and
you can't even manage three thousand dollars a month? So
if you want to be well, to do well off,
however you describe it, you need to go and learn
money management. Learn what money is supposed to be like,
(11:11):
understand paying bills and not being late. Clean up your credit.
There's all kinds of credit repairing stuff, repairing stuff out there.
You could talk to these credit bureaus yourself. You could
ask them send me a free copy of my credit report,
and you challenge what's on there. After so many years
that stuff supposed to roll off. Guess what, there's just
probably a few people that do that, So you got
(11:33):
to remind them you don't even do that. So no, no,
God's not gonna know. And those of you, you know,
I'm not talking to our faithful for you and nor
my co hosts here, but there's some of y'all out
there that old people money and you act like, you know,
why pay it when I get ready? Oh okay, but see,
you think you're hurting me, You're not hurting me. Kiss
(11:53):
who's checking the list? And more than checking it twice,
because God don't check it twice, unlike Sala Claus. God
don't check it twice once He look and you're not
being You're not in a compliance. You're erased. It's erased.
He still love you, but he can't bless you. So
let's go back to the degrees. That my hands be
(12:14):
trusted to be to steward all that God releases into
my life. I decree that I'm surrounded by those who bless,
uplift and support me. That's a whole two shows right there.
Because there are people who don't support you. They just
in't your life to be nosy, They ain't your life
to be messy. Some of them are monitoring spirits. The
(12:36):
devil set them to keep you off course. And I'm
gonna give you one clue as to who those people
could be. The ones say well you know what, so Trey,
what you doing now? What are you working at now? Well,
I'm still working with it. You're still working with the community.
What's advocacy? What kind of money you make it? There?
You go, don't even talk to that's could be at bel,
but you don't talk to it. I'mbel did you get
(12:58):
that peacn pie? Is it? Ready to just just take
her off? Just don't because she don't support you. She
never did for some reason, she don't like you. I've
shared the story with you when I was adopted and
my dad's twin sister was Jehovah witness now, but they
had their little gin and tonic parties. She would come
and every time she thought the spare room was hers,
(13:19):
and then she came one day. I guess she didn't
hear my dad tell her we got a baby. She
come in in the cribb it's all the nursery. She said, well,
who is that? And she's hated me ever since. She's
gone now and she's the last to go, meanest person
in the world, last to go anyway. Okay, here we go.
All right, let's see say that I'm surrounded by those
who bless, bless uplift me and support me. All leeches
(13:43):
decree and these are declarations you're saying out of your mouth.
You're saying, I decree and declare that all leeches are removed.
I decree that every plan of the enemy. To drain me,
to distract me, or to destroy me is null and voided. No,
and boy, you've heard the scripture. The kingdom suffereth violence,
(14:04):
and the violence takes it by force. This is by force.
This is what this means. This is how we pray. Now,
so you leach it off of me, you drop off
and you now you know, I know this is gonna
shock a lot of y'all, but I'm a prayer warrior.
I'm just gonna give you that hint. You don't need
to live, my enemies, you don't need to live. I'm
(14:27):
gonna say it right there. I know I've shocked everybody. Misty,
if you're driving, please just pull over for a minute.
And don't want you to, you know, go off the
run off the side of the road. They just pull off.
They want to shock you there. Anyway. I decree that riches, health, peace,
and divine strength of my inheritance. And I also added
riches and wealth second Chronicles, Chapter one. That's conversation between
(14:49):
Solomon and God riches and wealth. So again, I decree
that riches, health, peace, wealth, and divine strength are my inheritance.
I decree that God's favor opens doors that no man
can shut, and opportunities flow to me like a river.
(15:10):
Not my education, not my last name, not who I
know in government, none of that. Know that God, God's
favor opens doors and shut them that needs to be shut,
and keep them closed so that no man, that scripture,
no man can open them. Okay, I that opportunities flow
(15:31):
to me like a river. I can't tell you how
many times this this past week and a half. Last week,
I turned down being a grant writer, and I already
retired from working with the Department of Probation and Correction.
And I got three calls. Already, You ain't nobody called
me all year, just as I'm retiring. Then I get
three calls and I have to tell them, let you
(15:52):
don't have the new list out yet, but I've retired.
They're like, well, can you tell me what you would
have charged? I said, I'm still the cheapest intent. And
I thought about it for a brief minute, and I said, naw,
I'm good. I'm not going back. I decree that I
walk in wisdom, discernment, and alignment with my kingdom assignment.
(16:13):
I decreed that I will not forget God's abundance, and
that my heart remains grateful and humble and steadfast. Now
you know, people go and they play the lottery. Me
and let me get into somebody's mailbox for a minute.
They go and play the lottery. You just gotta be real.
I played it one time with one of my spiritual daughters,
and I felt so guilty doing it. But it was
(16:33):
like a trillion dollars. And I'm like, you know what,
what God forgive me. I'm gonna ask for forgive this
on the front end. I'm gonna ask for forgive this
on the backhead.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
They had the.
Speaker 2 (16:42):
Nervous say, okay, what numbers would I play? You know,
I don't know how to do this stuff. I mean,
I'm standing in the store with the little pencil like, okay,
what do I do?
Speaker 3 (16:49):
Now?
Speaker 2 (16:49):
What do I do? And if you know? And I'm like,
and people do win it. They win the one hundred dollars,
forty dollars and stuff, and they go quickly and spend
it whatever it needs to be applied to. But that's
not that's not what folks who are wealthy and will
all do because their bills already paid, they look to debt.
(17:14):
They handle debt differently than we do than those of
us who are living paycheck to paycheck. They handled it.
Talk to look at rich dad, poor dad. Read that
book again. You know, listen, look, I know we don't
like Elon Musk, we don't like Warren Buffett, we don't
like Bill Gates. But check out some of their comments,
the way they look at money and how they save,
(17:35):
and what books they read. Steve Harvey had to jump
in that pool and say, oh my God, I need
the reading six books a month on how to handle things. Okay,
I decree that that what God has prepared for me manifestfully,
and his perfect timing and his perfect timing. And we
talked about that before. There's a timing to God. It's
(17:58):
not going to happen when you wanted to do and
when you feel you need it. He may not come
when you want to, but He is always on time.
That's a song, and that's scripture. He said, don't worry,
I'm coming, And there's scriptures in the Old Testament. Whether
the angel was caught up because the demons tried to
was stopping him to deliver the prayer request, it's in
(18:19):
the word and that's real. Then that was not gonna
let it just flow. He's gonna he's watching because he's
flying to and fro to see who he can mess with.
And his workers of iniquity are doing the same thing. Okay, uh,
perfect timing and uh and glory to his mighty name.
It's ten of them. And I went and I added glass,
(18:41):
you know, after I checked off mine, I added these
ten prayer points, these declarations to my prayer list, my
prayer point, my vision board. And I was just I
felt so like a little kid, like ooh, I know
God's get rid of the bless I know He's getting
rid of the blessed. And then I got some text
messages and some confirmation stuff didn't expect, and I was like, whoah, God,
you already doing it. You're already doing it. Let me
(19:04):
take care of your people. Let me take care of
that which I'm ordained to take care of. Let me
say this prayer, let me make this phone call, let
me do this, let me sing a new song to you.
I know you got my back. I know you know
what I need and I know you know when I
need it. So I'm gonna just trust you and step
out the way. And that's what many people need to
be doing. You need to get out of his way.
(19:25):
And we've said this before him, We'll see it again.
You need to get out of God's way. Anybody got
anything to say? While I find this email?
Speaker 4 (19:36):
You forgot to pray, but that's it.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
Can you lead us leap? Please? What? Okay? Sure?
Speaker 3 (19:45):
Lord?
Speaker 4 (19:46):
I just think you love for this day and allowing
us to gather here. I just pray that you bless
those who are tuned in Father God, and wherever they
are in life, I pray that you meet them their
Lord and that and continue to be better people through you, Lord,
and allow you to guide us and allow you to
be the main person of our lives and a priority in.
Speaker 2 (20:03):
Our lives as well.
Speaker 4 (20:04):
Lord, I just think you got for all that you
do for us. She's the same.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
It's okay for y'all to check me now, It's okay
for y'all to check me. Okay, what I'm weird? What
did you say? Eager? I just had to get it out.
I just had to get it out. You know, it's
just a God is just a wonderment, and I had
(20:36):
to get it out. I had to get it. Thank you,
But please check me. You know we're not going We
got to get. It's all on him, It's all for him.
This is only on God. And there's nothing more I
can say to prove that the wisdom and the and
and the proof is in the pudding. That's all I say.
(20:58):
And I'm just thankful to God. And our lifestyle shows
where we're where we are. We're just as human as
everybody else. I'm just ten percent. But anyway, you know,
it's everywhere and have you don't ever had things in
your mind? You're trying to get thoughts out of your mind,
and it's like I don't want to think about that.
I don't want to think about that. I don't want
(21:18):
to think about that. I mean, the devil is like, okay,
we can't mess with anything else of her this, I
gotta go after her mind, and the flesh just complies, like,
oh yeah, she needs to think about that person, she
needs to think about this. No, I don't because if
I keep thinking and then I'm gonna start talking out loud,
and then I'm gonna conjure the person. Back up. I
don't want these people in my life. We got the
(21:38):
prophetic warning last week. One of the prophets I say,
they're gonna try to come back into your life. They're
gonna try to come back, and you gotta be careful.
Didn't see that was just she snuck right on in.
I say what am? I snuck right on in and
and told no facad no play clothes, no no makeup, no,
(22:00):
no camouflage, just came right in as is, and I'm like, ah,
what was I thinking? So yes, even the very best
of us. The scripture said even God's elect may be fooled,
then said we will be. He said we may be
fooled as well. So you've got to stay, keep your
(22:22):
head on a swivel. You've got to watch and pray.
Everybody's missing God's God's really, it doesn't matter who he's using.
He's clearing up some things, he's making ways out of
no way, he's changing laws. You don't understand that. You listen,
you know you just want a bicker. You just want
a bicker, and your bickering is getting nowhere. You just
have a forty year journey that normally would have taken
(22:43):
eleven days. You're gonna go back to what our ancestors
did in the Old Testament. You're gonna just keep walking
that same path, drawing those say tempting those in encouraging
those same temptations, the lust, everything else. You gonna still
walk in the same beat this time next year, because
it's not gonna do it. Prayer changes things, not your behavior,
(23:05):
not your opinion, not your commentary, not your unforgiveness, not that.
No prayer changes the thing. And it's a proof in
the putting. That's all like an eighty one manifestation in
the last thirty one thirty days. Eighty one things God
did for me. I didn't even ask. It's on my
bingeon board. Write it down, make it plain. So I'm
(23:32):
mina say no comments. Guys, come on trail, you got
something to say. Somebody gotta say something, so you say
say something, say something.
Speaker 5 (23:40):
I mean, I was taking it all then, but it
was just I gotta get watch how I choose my
words on this walk.
Speaker 3 (23:47):
So it wasn't ironic, you know.
Speaker 5 (23:50):
Actually I was listening to a summer similar to what
you're talking about right now, about people and in your
group that you're hanging with, and those that want to
help me grow and those that just want to pull
and tug from you. So and this is just like
right on time. So I won't say the incidence, like
(24:10):
I used to say before, but it's you know, it's
you know, God is showing different things.
Speaker 3 (24:17):
And you know I heard it this morning.
Speaker 5 (24:18):
Now I'm hearing it's the same thing that we're talking
about this evening. But also I was kind of let
to say something and I know you had a comment
for this morning.
Speaker 3 (24:28):
I mean the show about my parents, which I appreciate it,
I really do, but with.
Speaker 5 (24:35):
This and I just want to be transparent here with
with the audience again that this is not my typical
favorite time of year, and for any anyone that going
through something or you know this, if you're feeling a
certain way. You know, sometimes I used to give my
clients or work to, you know, get them to rate
(24:57):
on a scale of one to ten. One not feeling
good at all, Ten you're great, give me a number,
and they would give me a number. I said, Okay,
what would you need what would.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
It need to happen for it to be like one
point higher?
Speaker 5 (25:10):
And our declined, say put on some listen, Okay, let's
get to put if that's going to make you feel better.
Speaker 3 (25:16):
So right now, you know, there's there's a lot of.
Speaker 5 (25:20):
Different spirits floating around the spirit of depression, anxiety, fear,
you know, loneliness, it's a lot of that.
Speaker 3 (25:28):
But have to fight through it.
Speaker 5 (25:31):
You have to try to find a way to fight
through it and find a way that's going to make
me feel better. You know, if it's putting on the
brightest cellar like today, I said, Okay, you know.
Speaker 3 (25:40):
What, let me just put this on it. So Monday morning,
now that it was a bad day, it was a
trying day.
Speaker 5 (25:46):
It really was a trying day. My facial expression didn't
look like this from what my coworkers were telling me,
if they looked like you were upset. But I wasn't mad,
they said mad. Really, I was not mad. I was
just disappoint It's frustrated anytime you work in a human
service field, people are going to do that to you.
But I also was preoccupied because there was a lot
(26:09):
going on that I had to handle that we had
to handle that work today, and so you know, just
I look forward to this, this is my Monday nights.
I look forward to that. Then some other things that
I do during the week, I look forward to that.
Speaker 3 (26:21):
And there's all spirituals, all God's work, it's all that type.
Speaker 5 (26:25):
You didn't even know the job is God's work, but
still is the atmosphere not from all times godless, and.
Speaker 3 (26:32):
So fighting through people's stuff.
Speaker 5 (26:35):
You know, people got stuff going on and fighting through.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
That, they're mad.
Speaker 3 (26:40):
You know, I regard my heart against not.
Speaker 5 (26:42):
Only the stuff that I'm going through, but their stuff,
and trying to watch what I say and how are
I word things because I don't want to offend anybody.
Speaker 3 (26:50):
Don't know where people are right now, and so that
that's kind of like a struggle.
Speaker 5 (26:55):
So you know, I was led to kind of say
that because I want people to know things.
Speaker 3 (27:01):
Are gonna be okay.
Speaker 5 (27:02):
And it is trying, and it's cold up here, and
like I said, it was flurries last couple of days,
you know, on and off, and it's very cold, and
that's kind of opposite of what I like.
Speaker 3 (27:12):
I like how to like a longer days. I like sunshine.
Speaker 5 (27:15):
That's my better atmosphere. But since I don't, I have
to make the best of what I have and find
ways it's going to make me happy, smile, putting, you know,
helping out other people that are more vulnerable than me.
Speaker 3 (27:27):
Advocating for them. So just you know, just fight through
and trust out, just fighting on truck out.
Speaker 2 (27:35):
Amen. Amen, and thank you for sharing that. And I
need to do something. I checked. I took a look
at the comments, which you're very negative and very nasty,
and it's not for my regular folks, and I rebuke you.
You may get away with doing that on other podcasts
and other comments, but I rebuke you. In the name
(27:55):
of Jesus. No weapon formed against such shall prosper. And
you're not bringing your nat steak nests here, So you're done.
You're not bothering me, you're bothering God. So God, I
give that these two people to whoever said this stuff
to you. Do what you do best, do what you
do best. We're not that, we're not setting link for that,
(28:18):
and you're not going to do that here. Thank you anyway.
And I'm going to shift to tonight topic, which is
the Nationally Impaired Driving Prevention Month. And to be honest
with you, I really thought it was talking about people
who are impaired, but they're talking more about people not
being sober and they're getting behind the wheel of the car,
(28:39):
which is a flying projectile. It's a moving target type
of thing, you know. So, but I want to take
it even further when you are older, or when let's
say your eyesight is impaired or your hearing is impaired,
you've got to diagnosis. You've got you're probably taking eye
drops and all that kind of stuff. You really need
(29:01):
to take heed on what you're doing, because you're putting
not only your life in danger, but you're putting everybody
else around you lives in danger, even the pedestrians. Over
the past few years, Orlando has had this huge increase
of pedestrians being hit and killed. How you can't see
(29:24):
people and you I mean, but you're they're driving, They're
doing sixty seventy miles an hour in a thirty five
and a forty and they can't stop. They can't and
they're hitting runs, so you know, and it's hard. And
I was talking about, you know, this is the hard
truth when you're not able to do something, when you're
not able to keep up, you know, I felt bad.
(29:47):
We were doing the training with our dog, and thank
god I have, you know, my daughter there. She took
the lead. I changed my name to make her team
lead number one, hand little number one. I had Donald
beheadling number two and I stepped back, even though she's
my support animal. And you know, I got fussed at
a little bit, like you need to be doing. But
I couldn't keep up with the pack. I couldn't keep
(30:09):
up with the group. And this is just regular walking
because I have to look down and I make sure
that the you know, the street, the pavement is straight,
and if it's not, I'm going down. And I'm not
going to go back to the hospital. I'm not going
back through that. I rebuked that in the name of Jesus.
I'm not so my daughter. You know, my kids had
to take the lead in many cases for the bulk
(30:30):
of the training, you know, but you have to realize
what you can and cannot do, not being lazy. I'm
not talking about procrastinators. I'm not talking I'm talking about
when you realize, you know what, I'm not able to
do this anymore. I can't. I'm not able to climb.
I used to love I always want to have a
two story house. I love having the stairs in the house.
(30:51):
But before this happened to me, ironically the house of
I was like, you know what I'm gonna I want
the one story. And the last house we moved into
before we got this one, it was a one story
and it was wide and it was you know, just
long and everything, and I'm like, I like this. It
was facious enough. But I used to. I mean, my
(31:11):
kids grew up with knowing we're gonna have a two
story house. There was no doubt about it. We were
gonna have one. But it went away and had no idea.
Because I changed my mind, I would be ready for
what was gonna happen to me in year number eight
of staying at that other house had no idea, and
(31:35):
even the hospital folks had to come out and make
sure my house, the house was convenient enough, was conducive
enough for me to be able to get a wheelchair in.
I had a hubb around. I had, I mean they did.
They came in and looked like because they were gonna
say that if we didn't think that house was suitable,
we were gonna help you move. You don't have to
get something, you couldn't stay there. And thank god, they
(31:57):
were like, yeah, you got it. You're on a hell
but you know you do it pretty. You know you're
gonna do good. So and thank god. I love my home.
It's it's you know, it's open space, it's spacious, one story.
Speaker 3 (32:10):
I love it.
Speaker 2 (32:11):
And this is what even my next dream home will
be that I'll be building will be one story, but
it's gonna be all and wide, and the driveway way
out two row, two streets long, and everything else I
can see who coming anyway. Yeah, so you've got to
be able. I thought about this. I was thinking about
(32:31):
this throughout the day. You know, looking at my situation,
you know, you just there just comes a time that
you've really got to assess yourself. If you're there are
no changes that you can make. You're you're not able
to walk long distances and stuff like that, or go
upstairs and without your knees going out and stuff like that.
You need to go check your knee caps because they
do leave. They leave us sooner than you think. They
(32:54):
become brittle and everything else. And it's bone on bone
and I heard that subscruciating bang. By the time you
realize it, you know, you don't have any cartilage. You
got to be real with yourself. You go to the dentist.
You ain't been to the dentist in two years. You
could go to the dentist. They're gonna tell you, oh,
you got a whole lot of cavities. Oh my God,
you're a namual is weakening and then lessening and thinning
(33:17):
and all this kind of stuff. Yeah, well, you didn't
take care of yourself. You didn't have the job that anymore.
They provided all those benefits where you could go, g
have your teeth, you know, check there twice a year.
You gotta be honest with yourself. And that's all I
could think about today was, you know, this is about honesty.
You know, am I impaired. You don't know how many
(33:38):
families I had of aging folks who were the head head,
you know, person or primary person in charge. I had
to let them know, you know, you're gonna have to
take the keys. I had to unplug my store. My
mom was a smoker, even despite her Alzheimer's, and she
couldn't find anything. I don't know how she would find
a cigarette. Next thing, I know, she's cutting on this.
(34:00):
We didn't have those gas burners. We had a flat top,
and I'm like, and I wouldn't say anything because of
the agitator, so I just do. I had to unplug
the stove when I left home and come back at
lunchtime plug it back up, fixing some lunch because nobody
would help me to watch her, and then I had
no choice. I had no choice. I had no choice.
(34:21):
Because of safety reasons, I had to place her. I
had no choice. It was more danger dangerous for her
to stay at home by herself. Nobody would help me.
My neighbors, who are all up in age themselves, are like,
oh no, we've never They ain't seen it up close
and personal. And then all of them have suffered from
it since then. So you know, I had to make
(34:45):
a choice. But she lighting up the stove and I'm like,
oh my god, Jesus, you know I had to unplug
the telephone. You know, there's things that you have to
the decisions at times you just you gotta just check
it and say, you know what, when does it come
down to. It's not about pride anymore. It's not about,
you know, showing off of the neighbors or trying to
(35:05):
get with the neighbor. It's not about that. And it's
not even about pleasing somebody in the family. You don't
like the way I do something. When you step in,
you take over, you do better, and you don't. We
don't want to be all you don't want your time
messed up and interrupted, so don't judge me because I
(35:30):
have to look at this. I'm a social worker. Trade
you understand this. I'm in. That's our goal is to
keep families together. Our goal, that's our ethical cold, that's
our mandate. If we could keep you together, we're gonna
keep you together. As long as nobody's getting hurt, nobody's
not endangered, we're gonna keep you together. You can cuss
(35:51):
each other out of you as ll as you don't
cut each other. We're gonna keep you in that house together.
That's our that's our model we meet. Our main decree
is we meet you where you're at. That's a main decree.
Our stitument is we keep everybody together. We unify you,
even though we may not like it, but sometimes you're
all you had and the heartiest thing in my life.
(36:15):
Despite all that I've gone through everything, I'm burying parents,
getting a divorce, of the first marriage, about the divorce
or second, having a husband, just go ahead and die
just I mean, the worst thing, the worst thing, and
it took me years to forgive myself. I had to
place her because it was no longer safe. I could
(36:37):
not leave her a home and I could not go
to work. And I'm all thinking about what am I
gonna go home and find when I go to lunch.
When I go home for lunch and let me get
off at five o'clock, I could get home. I had
no choice. And now because I honored my parents, my
days are gonna be long. That's a commandment. But like
(36:59):
I said that, there were thousands of famis that I
had to tell them. You're gonna have to take the keys,
You're gonna have to change the locks. You're gonna have
to talk to that brother or that sister that you're
not talking to, you haven't talked to in fifteen years.
Because they knew this, They saw this coming, and they
left home. You've got to you got to get help.
And now I don't even know what resources are available
(37:20):
in the community anymore. I'm gonna be calling a couple
of mayors, the mayors, Yeah, a couple of them, maybe
before the holiday, and see what's left? Where do we
go now? Where do we tell people to go for help?
So again, when I saw this the national impaired again,
I thought, it's not dealing with just you know, being
(37:42):
sober or under the influence. People are bathing now, Yes,
bone on bone hurts. This is good. Oh, thank your
eld K. Yeah, I you know this baping thing and
everybody that's that's not just smoke, that's something in there.
And people are laciness thing too, even even even you know,
(38:03):
in the regular world. However, you get it through the
displa lacing stuff making you go crazy, making you want
to take your life, making you see things that are
not there. Why are you doing that? That's not helping
you because you got to buy it. You got I
don't care if you grow. You still got to buy
stuff to make it grow, and devices and stuff. And
(38:25):
you're you're under the influence. I don't care. Even the
very best of y'all, you're under the influence. And I
don't need you driving alongside me. I'm trying to get now.
I got to go back to leave it four day
in the morning to go run my errands when the
roads are clear, because I mean, you're just drag racing
(38:46):
and you got those those nuts out there doing that mess.
Then I've got my seniors who are driving around with
the disabled placard hanging from their mirror when it says
do not drive with this. It's on the card on
the placard. You need to read it. Do not drive
(39:07):
with this hanging off your mirror. You're supposed to take
it off, and then when you park, that's when you
put it on there. And then I saw this lady
once again getting out the car. Ain't nothing wrong with her.
I can't see it, but you that's how that's your
mother or your aunt or your grandfather or whoever you transport.
That's their placard. And you're gonna you know, you're gonna
(39:27):
park your able body. You could go do and park
where you need to park, and you don't, and you
make me have to circle the pracket lot to find
a parking space. The thing says do not drive with
(39:52):
this decal on your mirror. It says it on there.
It's in blue and white, and you totally disregard it
because all of y'all just and you're right on my tail.
You can barely see you leading up on the and
my kids have mind, you know, they can't hear you. Right, Yes,
(40:12):
I know the wrongs which is us, and there's nothing
they can do because they gonna roll up for me anyway.
So now I got to leave earlier so I could
try to think that I'm safe, go ahead.
Speaker 3 (40:30):
So I'm just gonna say about caraman as well.
Speaker 2 (40:34):
Your mood.
Speaker 5 (40:35):
You know, if you're angry, that is, you know, causes
you to impulse of driving. So if something is making
you angry before you get in that car, say your prayer, relax,
moosaw whatever, whatever, just get yourself together, because traffic can
(40:56):
make you upset. People driving certain I know, make you upset.
But I remember years ago when they're talking about if
you have the light, if you missed the light, okay,
it might be God will say, okay, I don't want
you don't need to go to this light right now,
or find something else that it could take your mind
(41:17):
off of being stuck in traffic. You know, something else,
medicate or listen to some good music or something like that, because.
Speaker 3 (41:25):
I know it's trying time.
Speaker 5 (41:27):
They were trying before, but they really are trying times
right now.
Speaker 3 (41:32):
And folks, you need to just kind of take keys
to what's going on and try to make sure that they.
Speaker 5 (41:42):
Cautious, you know, very very cautious, because you don't want
to do anything that would harm someone else while you're driving.
Speaker 3 (41:50):
And so.
Speaker 2 (41:53):
If you haven't gotten it by now, I don't know
what to say, and it's not thank you trade for saying.
And you know the world is aspiring right now and
there is only those who really believe in God. And
we're holding on with studying his word to encourage us
(42:16):
to give us hope. I'm not looking at man to
give me hope. I'm looking at God's word and what
he has promised to give me hope. I am praying,
hoping that God hears my prayers. I am. I'm studying,
I'm singing a new song. I'm keeping gospel music playing
throughout the house because I need to hear something that
could take my mind off of crazy stuff. You're not
(42:40):
the only ones out there. You got to do whatever
it takes. And people are angry. People are talking to themselves,
people are bumping you don't even they don't even see you.
People blowing their horning and life just turn green. And
I got three cards in front of me where you
think I'm going. People are just unsettled getting bad news.
(43:03):
The lady had that she was out and she's well,
I didn't say that. I didn't say that. Why are
you taking it? And I'm like you in front of
marshals and I can't help, but assess what you're saying.
Because I'm listening to I can hear it. Then I
went somewhere else and somebody talking about the co worker.
(43:23):
I'm like, oh God, let me. I don't want to
I don't want to be around it. This is not
the time to judge. This is not the time to judge.
It's not the time to point fingers and point out fault.
And if it wasn't for you, no, because it's not
gonna get any better out here with your naked eyes
seeing and your naked ears hearing, it's not gonna get better.
(43:46):
Right now, some of us are calm because we already
know about the storm. We already know, we already have
everything we need for the emotional and and and and
and the finance and the economical storms that are brewing.
So that's why I can we can sit and say,
(44:06):
you know, you gotta you gotta catch this, and you
gotta get it right, and you gotta work it out
for your family. What's gonna be good, what's gonna be safe?
You gotta do it. You gotta take care of yourself.
We can't say it anymore. We can't, and we're not
gonna be here.
Speaker 3 (44:23):
Forever and I thank you.
Speaker 6 (44:29):
Go ahead add on to the like melancholy because sometimes
you know, I used to do it years ago, getting
a funk and listen and have these sad songs.
Speaker 7 (44:40):
No what what what I've learned to teach people that
I work with as well, find some something funny, no,
when to say when, No, when you've had enough and
you need to step away from it.
Speaker 3 (44:52):
We look at it and then step back into whatever
the stuff is. But try to. And I know it's hard.
I know it's very hard, and.
Speaker 5 (45:01):
My transparency, I'm telling you just looking at different things.
So I intentionally don't stay on the news for a
long time. I'll look at us okay now and I
flipped to see what another station is saying.
Speaker 3 (45:14):
And said, well, where'd they get that from? I don't
see that. So you have to weigh it.
Speaker 5 (45:18):
Find something commony, turn turn it on, having music, something
that's gonna make you get up and dance. You know,
I don't know videos. I love skating, so I'll try.
I follow a lot of skating videos. So you know,
just things are just gonna uplift me. But you gotta
find a way that's gonna uplift yourself as well, and
(45:40):
it's a lot of things that can impair us, especially
while driving that's a car.
Speaker 3 (45:46):
It can do damage not only to yourself but to
other people.
Speaker 5 (45:49):
So just try to be mindful and if you know,
reach out, maybe develop a circle of support of people
that you know that you can reach out to, uh
at a drop of a you know, a diamond if
you're going through something. And I, like I said, being
transferred again a few years ago, crossing bridges became struggle
(46:09):
a challenge for me. Bridges and water across bodies of water,
and in Virginia their bodies of water, and so it
got to the point like I was like.
Speaker 3 (46:19):
Nervously shakings, So what is this? I've remember what is that?
Speaker 5 (46:23):
And so I had stopped doing that for a while
by myself, but then once I graduated, I mean gradually,
I would call somebody if I had to, because I
worked on I had worked across water to get to
my clients. So I would call a friend and say, hey,
I'm getting there, talking to you good. Yeah, that can't
take my mind off of it. Once I gots okay,
(46:44):
I'll cross it.
Speaker 3 (46:45):
And I would do that coming back home.
Speaker 5 (46:47):
So just find something that's going to help me through
that whatever that is, that's that's just my thing.
Speaker 3 (46:52):
You know, I'm pretty sure everybody has stuff going on.
Speaker 8 (46:56):
I just want to add although you know, I agree
with all that you guys are saying as far as
like whom missus Grave was mentioning about, you know, safety
and stuff. I think it's just very important for people
to get their kids into something active self defense. There's
a lot of trafficking going on and they're being very
loud about it now. They don't care about being secretive
(47:18):
about trafficking. And again, the internet is free, so teaching you, okay,
how to box, teaching them how to defend themselves, even yourselves. Like,
I feel like everyone should take a self defense class,
matter if you're a woman or man.
Speaker 2 (47:30):
It is kind of going based off of last week.
Speaker 8 (47:32):
God led that conversation last week, but we're supposed to
go into self defense. But I just want to add
that in because it's becoming not safe. Like I had
to call one of my people today because a man
just kept staring at me oddly, and I'm like, I'm
always on my p's and q's, Like, you have to
be aware you're surrounded, you have to be aware of
who's around you.
Speaker 3 (47:51):
Even in the store.
Speaker 8 (47:52):
I know who's on that al I just passed, you
know what I'm saying, Like, that's how you want to be,
not paranoid, but away.
Speaker 2 (48:01):
You need to be aware.
Speaker 8 (48:02):
It's very important at a gas station, whether you go outside,
do your errands alone, whatever.
Speaker 4 (48:08):
Case may be, you need to be aware of your surroundings.
Speaker 8 (48:10):
Like I was a little skeptical, that skeptical of the man,
and I made sure I have my people on speed
now just in case because we were not doing that today.
Speaker 3 (48:19):
Thank you.
Speaker 8 (48:20):
But God is our almighty provider, He's our almighty protector. Again,
you need to pray about your plans of what you
plan to do or what you want to do, and
be sure it's okay to do prior to doing it.
Like if you give you if you feel in I
don't think you need to be doing it, that should
just tell you you shouldn't be doing it. But if all,
(48:42):
if you don't get no warning or anything like that,
then you straight. But just going to God about that
because it's just very important in these times right now.
It really doesn't matter if.
Speaker 2 (48:52):
You're a woman or male, right amen, And don't matter
the age either, It don't matter the.
Speaker 3 (48:57):
Age yea, and when you made it to your destination,
I could check the buance.
Speaker 2 (49:06):
Yeah, yeah, I know my kids could you know they really?
I'm like, no, you're supposed to text me when you land.
You're supposed to text me when you get there, and
what address you're going through?
Speaker 3 (49:16):
You know?
Speaker 2 (49:16):
Where is this at now? Which one?
Speaker 3 (49:18):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (49:18):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (49:19):
You know?
Speaker 2 (49:19):
And I'm sitting here like, Lord, send my and I
will send my angels quick. Go find them, go be
with them, even though their angels have been released. But anyway,
our time is up. Guys. I tell you we could
go at that, and you know, ms kay, remind me
next week. You know, we could talk some more about
self defense. Bring me into that. Remind me you take
you could take the lead even if you have to, Okay,
(49:40):
after we pray. But anyway, we thank you guys. We're
gonna see you next week, same time. We're praying for you,
same station. Night night. Great job, guys, great job.
Speaker 1 (50:00):
Because because pass
Speaker 4 (50:07):
Spo
