Speaker 1 (00:01):
This is Sex in the City of Angels podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Welcome back to the season one finale, Sex in the
City of Age. You guys have been writing with us
for twelve episode season one.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
We made it. I'm so grateful. I'm Kayla, I'm.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
Aliah Kai, I'm norm Sahak.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Dana still on her Eat Love Pray, but she's here
with us in spirit. Where for a single woman in
our thirties, as you know, still watching Sex in the City.
And we've been watching all the episodes. I will say
episode twelve.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
For me, I watched it like.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
It just was bad as far as it was great,
great television, great show.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
But baby, why Carrie.

Speaker 5 (00:58):
Why Carry?

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Let's get into it.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
After the classic intro, carries writing about Miranda dating Thomas
John Anderson. Now, she said, like she put Miranda's name
in the column this time around, But who am I?

Speaker 3 (01:11):
Who am I? I don't read her column.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
But she's like my friend Miranda Thomas anyway, and he's
an up and coming New York play right.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
They're having great sex in the next.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Scene and carries like, there's one problem.

Speaker 5 (01:29):
Immediately after sex, he'd hop out of bed and shower and.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
I don't know if that's necessarily a big deal for me.
Per I mean, I don't know, maybe I might be
a little offended. I can't I can't speak to it.
I can't speak to it.

Speaker 6 (01:41):
I mean every time, Yeah, you want to cuddle, you
want to still be in that intimacy. Yeah, it completely
just cuts it off. You know, it's one thing to
do here and there, but to do it every time.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Yeah, yeah, exactly.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
I would want to cuddle or at least invite me
to shower with you.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
I had a guy apologize because you had to shower
or afterwards. You know, I'm so sorry. I'm not trying
to be rid of want to be. I was like,
I appreciate that, I appreciate communication. There you go, it's kay.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
But they had some communication because Miranda decided to confront him.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
She's like, what's up. What the shower was?

Speaker 2 (02:12):
I'm starting to feel like it's me. He's like, it's
not you. He was just always taught that sex is
dirty by the nuns and when he was growing up,
and he got into the habit of taking a shower afterwards.
And then Miranda realized she was dating dut dut dull
Catholic guy.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
When I understand that Catholic guilt is real.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
Hell yeah, I'm a recovering Catholic myself, and they really
do ingrain in you that Catholic guilt for everything.

Speaker 6 (02:42):
Yeah, especially when they're beating into your inner child. It's
got to be hard to overcome.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
Yeah, I feel like I can. Just a little site story.
I think when I was getting ready for my first
Communion again, I grew up Catholic, not practicing Catholic system
at all. I remember, for your first meaning, you have
to do your first confession, confessional right, and so at
nine I came out crying from from confession because I

(03:10):
thought I was gonna go to hell because I didn't
listen to my mom on that one particular week, you know.
And I feel like it really fucks you up. And yeah,
that does fuck you up.

Speaker 6 (03:18):
That confession stuff never sat right with me. We did
go to Catholic school, our parents, my mother grew up Catholic.
I have a great uncle who was a priest, so
I have some attachment to the Catholic community or whatever,
even though it was never in me. But that neother
that confession never sat right with me. Why am I
confessing to a man like, Yeah, you're not God, bro,
who's probably doing what they be doing.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
I'll tell you my sins, you tell me yours.

Speaker 6 (03:43):
SF right self righteousness is wild.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Wow, no disrespect to the Catholic shouts to the Catholics.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
You mad at Marine.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
In the next scene, she's talking to Carry about it
and carries like, do you think the water serves as
a retro baptism kind of thing? Miranda says, if I
knew he was Catholic, I never would have gone out
with him in the first place. They should wear a
sign or something. And I do think that this episode
is about not just Catholics, but religious people as a whole,
which is why it was kind of like these girls atheists, like,

(04:19):
do y'all believe in God? Which if you're not, that's,
you know, your prerogative. But to judge people that believe
in a higher power the way you guys are is
absolutely or that follow structure religion a little bit, you know.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
Yeah, the judgmental Miranda came out for sure. Yeah. She
says people seldom ask their dates religious backgrounds because it's
kind of like asking their partners, how asking their their
dates how many partners they've had, And it's a scary
question that you don't really want to know the answer to.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
I wholeheartedly disagree. But that's just me because I need
a man that love God, love Jesus. You know you
don't love Jesus. Who do you love?

Speaker 6 (04:54):
Yeah, I don't know if that speaks to each and
every that's I don't think that's true.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Yeah, I dated at atheists. He was the worst person
in the world, So never again. Like, you need to
know God, you need to know God.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Anyway, Miranda says he's logical in every other respect, but
about this he's just not. And Carrie is like, well,
he's also clean. You forgot clean.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
He's very clean.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Carrie carries writing her column in the next scene, and
she's like, New York is filled with places of worship,
and it dawned on her that the only time that
she sees people mentioned actually going to these places is
when they're going to a singles mixer.

Speaker 5 (05:32):
She's like, our relationships the religion of the nineties.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Okay, I thought religion was a religion of the nineties,
but sure, sure, I was a baby then, so what
did I know. Anyway, she goes to do her research
and she's going to church because she was raising the
church of don't talk with your mouth full and be
nice to people. Religions I guess wasn't really instilled in
her as a child. So she goes to observe real

(05:56):
church people and they're coming out of church and they're
a luxury fashion designed you know, the Oscar de la
Rentas of it all, And she's like, what's it about
God in fashion that goes so well together? And I
will say, in a lad I noticed that people do,
and then you know people would really do dress.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
You put on your Sunday's best before you walk into church. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (06:18):
Actually, in La the Church, the first church that we
were part of, I feel like I could. That was
the first time I felt comfortable to wear whatever I
wanted I got. They kind of shame me a little
bit for wearing hills. They were like, Oh, you're wearing hills.
That must hurt, that must be uncomfortable. I'm wearing my
flip flops.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
I'd like to dress up personally. Yeah, not that I
not say I will do it, but I like the
idea of it.

Speaker 7 (06:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
The next week I definitely came in the foot flops,
but it's it's more.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
Comfortable from heels to foot flops.

Speaker 2 (06:42):
Maybe sneakers, maybe the little sands, little bricking stocks. But
and then she saw mister Big coming out in his ARMMANI.
She said it was a shock and she saw She
thought the only thing he believed doing on Sundays was
the Yankees. He's with a woman who he puts in
a cab and then walks over to carry and Carrie
is like, hello there.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
He's like, what are you doing here?

Speaker 6 (07:04):
She's like research, No one, Carrie. I would have thought
she was talking me. I'm surprised I didn't come up.

Speaker 5 (07:11):
I'm doing a column one closet Presbyterians.

Speaker 7 (07:14):
Actually I'm an antheist, but they'll tell that to the ministry.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
M atheists says, A lot explains a lot Big. Do
you think he was kidding though, No, no, no, it's
being real.

Speaker 6 (07:28):
But I don't think atheist means worship the devil. It
means you don't believe in any higher power at all.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
So it's a it's a way of being.

Speaker 6 (07:35):
But I don't think it automatically equates the evil person personally. No, No,
I just I personally need somebody who believes in God.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
Personally.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
I think faith in God is the middle of any relationship,
like you need to have a god fearing man, because
you know, I've had an atheist and I've had god
fearing men, and the god fearing men are just better
in my experience.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
I just can't. I can't be with somebody who doesn't
believe personally.

Speaker 4 (07:59):
Or even if it's not a particular specific religion, religion
at least being to like spirituality something like you.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
Don't you know, yeah, I'm not a huge fan of
structured religion, although I go to church, but I definitely,
you know, have my Bible, have my relationship with God
and Jesus, and I just think that's so important for me.
She asked who the mystery woman was and he was
like that you know that he put in the cab
and he's like, that's my mother. He takes her to
church every Sunday. And she smiled. She was like, she

(08:29):
loves that. You never told me that. And he's like, well,
you're right on Sundays. So it's so cute finding got
new key things about your man. She asked, every Sunday
you go to church. He's like right, and they both laughed.
So he's like, hey, I got like some time before
my racketeering class. You want to my racketball game, racketeer

(08:50):
my racketball game, and you want to have some coffee.
She's like, I can'd on a deadline and her cappuccina,
her cappuccino just kicked in, so she has sleeve. But
she sarcastically says, God Bless before she leaves. And I
love the fact that you know she has a life
outside of mister Big. Yeah, that was one of those
small times that we see Carrie just sticking to her life, Yeah,

(09:12):
and not obsessed about him. I thought they we at
least hug her, kissed her something, but.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
Okay, yeah, she did kind of just walk off bye,
God bless.

Speaker 4 (09:20):
Weirdo that one time.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
Yeah, she says, it.

Speaker 5 (09:25):
Was one of those awkward relationship moments where you feel
like you know nothing about the person you thought you
knew everything about.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
It's like you're continuously going to be learning things about
your partner.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
It's only been a few months.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
You're not going to know everything that happened from the
moment this fifty something year old man was born till now, Like, Sis,
calm down, Yeah, you're crazy, She's crazy anyway, She tells
Charlotte and Miranda in the next scene, and Miranda's like,
he goes to church with his mother. Charlotte says, a
man who cares about his mother makes a wonderful husband,
and Carrie thinks it's sweet. Miranda's like, yes, well, yes,

(09:56):
it's shadower after sex.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
That was her on her uh on her.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Carry shit, Yeah she did that last episode too, Yeah
she did. Charlotte can't believe that Miranda's man is still
doing that, and Miranda's like, she suplised he has skin
after all the showers he takes after sucks with her,
and Carrie's like, well, why don't you shower with him.
Miranda's like, nah, I'm scared her pull out across in
some garland.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
That was funny.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
That was after, you know, they find out what Churchie
goes to. She's like, the thing is, I'm trying to
meet his mother.

Speaker 3 (10:26):
You just found out he had a mother. She's crazy
and I love her, but she's crazy. So can you
imagine can you.

Speaker 5 (10:37):
Imagine getting on the good side of his mother is
like closing.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
The deal, which is true.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
I guess you want to get on you want to
mama like you, but you know, and down time, not
in yours, in due time.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
In due time.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
That's when Samantha walks in and she's like, I'm sorry,
I'm late. She had a five hour lunch with Jane's
and then she's like, I'm in love, which is crazy
coming from Samantha. They're all super shocked, and Carrie even
even says that Samantha falling in love is as unfathomable
as Moses partying the red scene.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
Heard it and to her religious her religious metaphors. I
love it. I love the themed episode.

Speaker 6 (11:13):
But this is so for two with Samantha just seeing
the side of her that I think is a little different,
like her falling in love, her being opened to a
potential relationship, and then even last episode where she was
into the celibacy. So it just shows how there are
some layers to Samantha outside of just sex.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:27):
I really enjoyed getting to know this side of Samantha.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
Me too.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
She met James a couple of weeks ago on a
particularly black Wednesday night and she went out and treated
herself to some great music. He walks up to her
and he says it was a meet cute norms m
I couldn't.

Speaker 5 (11:43):
Help but notice how you moved to the music. It's
a beautiful part.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
Well, I love jazz.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
He's like, that's evident. She asked if he's a musician,
and he's like, yeah, I'm a musician trapped in the
body of a Lawyer's so cute, and she's like, okay,
I won't tell anyone. They just have real cute banter
back and forth, like a Rocue connection. They closed the
drink down actually with their cute little banter and conversation.
After he joins her at her table, and then they're
taking a walk in the middle of the night. He
even offers her a glaze Crispy Kreme donut that don't

(12:12):
know look good?

Speaker 3 (12:13):
It did look I wanted a bite. Man reminded me.

Speaker 6 (12:15):
How much I used to love blaze donuting. That was
that really did make me excited. I really haven't been
the same.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
No, they aren't. Nothing's the same in twenty twenty four.
It's all processed. But anyway, that glade was dale nut
from the nineties was something special. And she's like, oh,
it's heaven and I never thought i'd get there. He's like,
why not an angel like you? I love the banter,
but again for me another red flag. If the person
I'm interested in says I never thought I'd get to heaven,
why not just be banter?

Speaker 4 (12:41):
Yeah, it's flirting, honestly, Like I loved, I loved seeing
this whole meat cute unfold. You know, she found love
on a random Wednesday, See you like.

Speaker 3 (12:53):
I love that. I believe in that by herself.

Speaker 4 (12:56):
Yeah, yeah, and you know what, I think, this is
the first time we see one of them go out
on their own, doing their own thing, not looking for men,
and coming from Tamantha. It's also very surprising.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
I agree, I agree, and even more surprising.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
She didn't invite him up. She just wished him a
good night. He wished her the same and asked her
out again. So it was cute. He rubbed her face,
and with that touch, she was surely in love. Now
we're back at the scene with her girlfriends because that
was a little flashback, and she's like, I didn't even
know you could talk to men before James. The only
thing I ever said to men was give it to
me and go home. She tributes Charlotte for her new

(13:36):
outlook on men.

Speaker 7 (13:37):
What did I do all that goals you spouted about
not sleeping with men right away actually paid off. I mean,
if I thought James already, who knows what're we?

Speaker 2 (13:47):
We haven't had sex, so yeah, she hasn't had sex yet,
but she plans on doing it soon.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
And Charlotte's like, ahh, that's great.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
But she says a little awkwardly, and then we know
why she says it like that because Carrie narrates that
the idea of Samantha possibly being married before Charlotte shook
Charlotte to the core, so she had to take drastic measures.

Speaker 7 (14:05):
Girl.

Speaker 6 (14:05):
That bothers me so much when it comes to friendships,
like being like that low level or underlying layer of
competition and I want it for all of us, but.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
Not before me, Like I can't stand that energy.

Speaker 6 (14:17):
And I've come across people like that to the point
where you got to go out and do some extra
shit to make sure you get it before I do.
I hate that an extra shit is right because Charlotte
took her as to a psychic and the psychic is
reading her cards and she tells Charlotte, great.

Speaker 7 (14:33):
Success in your future, but I do not see marriage. Well,
how can you just say that like that? I mean,
what about my feelings? Honey? I'm a psychic, not a shrink.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
And after acting like that because your friend's happy, you
need to see your shrink.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
And the next scene, Carrie is asking Big about his
mother because she just can't get over it. He has
a mom and she just needs to know everything.

Speaker 4 (14:58):
Now.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
She's like, I want to I'm going to come to
church with you. He shocked, and he's like, you want
to go to church. He's like, she's like, you're saying, look,
I'm the Antichrist or something. He says, it's not that.
I just never thought of you as a church type.
She says, what type of man. He's like, well, you're
the most incredibly beautiful intelligence type.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
Oh that's that was sweet.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
Big knows how to talk to Caro. You know, she's crazy.

Speaker 4 (15:23):
Let me calm it down.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
And he asked what religion are you and she's like, well,
I'm not a religious religion in particular, but I'm open
to all of them.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
I'm like seven eleven.

Speaker 4 (15:31):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
He's like, oh, he says, like seven eleven. She didn't
say that, but she says, I don't want to go.

Speaker 5 (15:37):
To church with you and your mommy.

Speaker 3 (15:40):
How about the Sunday Well, it's.

Speaker 5 (15:43):
Just a private little thing.

Speaker 7 (15:45):
My mother and I do, just the two of us.

Speaker 6 (15:47):
I would respect that personally. I don't even see myself
taking that personal. It's a private thing between him and
his mom. You witnessed it yourself, so you know he's
really with his mom.

Speaker 3 (15:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
I don't get the need to be a part of
his situation with his mom. I'm like, you don't need
to be a part like I need private time with
my mom. I spend a lot of time with you.
To let me spend my time with my mom.

Speaker 3 (16:08):
You know, I knew her away.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
Before I knew you, and I want to continue to,
you know, have my special moments with her without you
girlfriend for a couple months.

Speaker 4 (16:16):
Yeah, And I feel it's a little crazy, like she's
inviting herself, which is crazy to me because first of all,
he's never mentioned the mom. He didn't mention that he
goes to church on Sundays. Obviously, if he was interested
in bringing you along, he would have mentioned it, right.

Speaker 3 (16:31):
Right, But he didn't. He didn't asked.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
So he sees the upset in her face, and he's like,
all right, you know what, you want to go to
the Caribbean next week?

Speaker 3 (16:37):
And she's like, I can't afford it.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
He's like, it's all right, I'll buy the tickets and
you just buy me a big margarita when we get there.

Speaker 6 (16:43):
I was gonna say, that's just like a typical big
like deflection and it was a good one. Tip, but
you're not about to be my mom. But I will
take you to the Caribbean, a really good one.

Speaker 4 (16:52):
Yeah, I would have taken it.

Speaker 3 (16:54):
Heck yeah, let's go.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
Heck ye, watch your mom in the next couple months.
And that is a step in their relationship. I think,
like we we saw them in bed all last episode
and then you know her getting rejected left and right
now he wants to go on vacation with you. That
is a pivotal step in a relationship. Okay, and he's
paying for everything all you got to.

Speaker 3 (17:17):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
Anyway, Miranda's back cam and sex were her guy and
he goes take a shower and she doesn't want to
let him get up because with her boundaries to these bitches,
I mean, to these women.

Speaker 3 (17:27):
She's like, here, stay here for a second, snuggle. Isn't
this nice?

Speaker 7 (17:31):
You know?

Speaker 3 (17:31):
Yeah, that's nice?

Speaker 2 (17:32):
And wasn't a shower snatches away from a real quick
he didn't say it like that, but that's how he
felt on the inside.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
I just saw it. Yeah, yeah, And she's like.

Speaker 5 (17:40):
There's nothing sinful about sex?

Speaker 1 (17:42):
Oh really, well, thanks for clearing that up. And what
is that the gospel according to Miranda? What are you
gonna tell me next? That God made the body? And
if God made the body and sex is an expression
of that body, how can anything made by that God
made body be considered sin Well? Yeah, it's a mixercle

(18:04):
I'm healed. Oh you're free to go work with the lepers. Now,
I guess this means I'm not going to hell.

Speaker 3 (18:10):
Great news.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
Thank you, Miranda, Thank you for saving my immortal soul.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
He went crazy.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
I think the reaction was a little bit excessive, but accurate.

Speaker 3 (18:22):
Bitch, you barely believe were you to tell me she
just made a suggestion?

Speaker 2 (18:26):
No, like, no, it wasn't a suggestion. It was like,
sex isn't sinful? You could like, you're you're changing my beliefs,
You're triggering my issues.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
Who the hell are you? Who the hell are you? Miranda?

Speaker 4 (18:38):
I respect that, I respect everyone's religion. But he's a
little crazy. Yeah, that's a little traumatized Catholic man that
I would run from.

Speaker 3 (18:48):
Yeah, he's like needs healing.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
I just also think Miranda again wasn't respectful of his
boundaries though, Like when you disrespect somebody's boundaries, you're who
knows what reaction you're going to get.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
It wasn't excessive.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
Yeah, but at the end of the day, you don't
have to leave because guess what, by the time he
gets out the shower, he doesn't want you here.

Speaker 3 (19:07):
He doesn't want to see you when he gets out.

Speaker 6 (19:09):
He's just because she likes suggests. He's trying to help
you out. Like, you know, you don't gotta go crazy.
You don't have to think of yourself as some terrible
person for doing something that you're naturally going to keep
on doing anyway. So I continue to feel guilty about it.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
I don't know. I'm kind of on his side. I
think Miranda is his boundaries.

Speaker 4 (19:23):
Man, Yes, I get that, but I feel like he's
being a little ridiculous because if he really believed sex
was sinful, he wouldn't be having sex with women unless
they were married, right right. So I feel like it's like,
you can't use religion here and there, you know, molded
to fit your your specific I don't know, like like

(19:45):
his lifestyle exactly, thank you.

Speaker 3 (19:47):
I mean, if he's.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
Keeping it within himself and he's not making it your problem,
he just wants to take a shower. I think that's
either you want to leave because he does that that's
what he needs to do to feel comfortable. Then you
can leave if that makes you uncomfortable. But to try
to change that about him when that's what he needs
for his own spiritual relationship with God, that's not your
place to get into, like that's what he needs.

Speaker 3 (20:06):
Either walk away if you can't deal with it, or
shut the fuck up.

Speaker 6 (20:08):
Man to think she was trying to help him out,
I think you don't gotta go in. I respect my
boundaries and Randa, I'm gonna have to do this, you know,
but y'all gotta She activated him the relationship.

Speaker 2 (20:19):
The reaction was excessive. I will I will give you that.
I will definitely give you that, but you know what,
He dumped her, and six months later, he used that
exact same speech in its hit off Broadway.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
Play Shower of Shame Inspiration Period. That's why I love
the creatives. They're so attractive.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
You got make that money off your life experiences.

Speaker 3 (20:40):
Anyway.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
Meanwhile, downtown, Samantha is about to have sex with James.
He expresses that he loves her, and she's like, I
love you too. Perfect James and their perfect relationship.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
Put it in.

Speaker 5 (21:05):
Samantha said a little prayer that he was kidding. It
wasn't that.

Speaker 3 (21:10):
Sounded like porn.

Speaker 4 (21:14):
Uh listen, that's very cringe and I feel like.

Speaker 3 (21:19):
Tv H.

Speaker 4 (21:20):
I've been in that situation before, and it was the
first and last time I had sex with that man.

Speaker 6 (21:25):
I too have been in a similar situation. I have
a lot of respect for this person. They were very
skilled with you know, the other areas of sexual interactions.
But I guess it's it just speaks to why he
was so freaking nice and perfect.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
I like, when you got a big dick, you don't
act like that.

Speaker 4 (21:42):
So did he make up for it with other stuff?

Speaker 3 (21:44):
Yeah? With courtship and romance yea.

Speaker 6 (21:48):
Oh the person I was with, Oh yeah, with courtship,
with romance play.

Speaker 3 (21:53):
Oh yeah, he was.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
Very he was very Yeah I I I too have
been in that situation.

Speaker 3 (22:00):
And yes, it's also just.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
It's hard to respect you a little bit. You know,
if I get mad, you might as well just be
a bitch. That little thing gets the fuck out of here, bitch.
But that was younger, Kayla. I'm better now, but I
can't do it. I can't do it.

Speaker 3 (22:17):
I feel so bad too because men can't help that.

Speaker 6 (22:20):
Or I don't like, do you have to grow up
seeing yourself a certain way, leaning into certain energies to
manifest a certain member or is it just you can't
help that. You gotta play the cards you're dealt.

Speaker 4 (22:32):
I think I wonder if you know how they have
that pump. I wonder if it really like enlarges the
does it really I want to want to Yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Heard you can't get a surgery or something to make
it a little bigger, help yourself out a little bit.
But I also think, and I don't know in your situations,
but he had a little dick personality, and he had
like an inferior, insecure personality. And he was also like
he was one of the few people I've dealt with
outside of my race.

Speaker 3 (22:58):
And he was like, oh, you you've probably only been
with big black men.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
Too, inferior, And it was like, you have a little
dick personality on top of having a little dick, and yeah,
at least be confident. Yeah, confidence is key because I've
had some little dick black men, but they don't even
pop up in my mind. It was that little dick
personality that you had with your little dick.

Speaker 4 (23:17):
Okay, but what's okay, let's clarify what's little dick?

Speaker 2 (23:20):
Right?

Speaker 6 (23:21):
There's little dicks, and there's like I can't even feel
it inside him, yeah, you know, and there's like baby pnis.

Speaker 2 (23:26):
I've never had baby Benis. I mean I felt something.
I felt something.

Speaker 4 (23:29):
I would say little would be like smaller than four yeah.

Speaker 3 (23:34):
Like three inches hard, like a fucking gerkin.

Speaker 4 (23:36):
Yeah, like a little child. I mean I measure it,
but yeah, I mean and you know, you know it's
small enough for you not to feel it.

Speaker 2 (23:44):
Yeah, I've never I've never not felt anything. That's that's crazy,
that's crazy.

Speaker 3 (23:50):
Yeah. But anyway, it's sad.

Speaker 5 (23:53):
It is.

Speaker 3 (23:53):
It is sad.

Speaker 2 (23:54):
It is sad because you know, women probably have issues
where they can't get like, you know, wet or something,
but there's like lube and things like that for them
to work around. I don't know women can work around
their issues whereas men. Unfortunately, that's just what you got it.
It's yeah, I agree. Anyway, Carrie decides to go to
church with Miranda. You know what, I am.

Speaker 4 (24:14):
Really confused as to why rigid ass Miranda would do this.
How does she bomboozle her into this.

Speaker 3 (24:23):
Because her best friend wanted to look at mister BIG's mom. Yeah,
like he cared for her.

Speaker 6 (24:27):
Like even when even at the end of the scene
when Kara gave her the out, Miranda state, like, I
wanted to make sure you're okay. So I think she
was really supporting her friend. And at the same time
she was ready to go.

Speaker 3 (24:35):
Yeah, like they did. She wasn't trying to stay stay.

Speaker 4 (24:37):
Okay, fine, I'll drive you, but I ain't going in.
I'm gonna stay in the car and wait for your ass. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
I mean I just would have to like try to
talk you out of it, because this is a little
bit ridiculous. It's like, we don't we don't gotta do this,
Like I really don't have to do this.

Speaker 3 (24:54):
Yeah, that would be more of my approach.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
But they they ride or die stupidity and all, like,
let's let's to be stupid looking together in our stupid
ass hat.

Speaker 3 (25:03):
Sitting in the top of them mount.

Speaker 6 (25:07):
It's like he stalked his ex wife and now you're
stalked at him and his mom. This girl's crazy, crazy curvagin.

Speaker 3 (25:14):
It can't be that bomb. But at last, here we are.

Speaker 5 (25:18):
As I watched mister Big standing quietly next to his mother, tall, proud, respectful,
I think I fell a little bit more in.

Speaker 2 (25:26):
Love with him.

Speaker 3 (25:28):
Let us pray, we're out of here. Miranda was ready
to go, so they said, let us pray.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
But as you heard, Carrie stood up, dropped the Bible
off of the pew, the top pele, and it falls
all the way to the bottom. Miranda screams. Mister Big
turns around.

Speaker 3 (25:49):
And the whole congregation, and the whole congregation.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
He's a psycho ass girlfriend up there, the one he
just told, I just want to do this to my mom.

Speaker 6 (25:59):
And then she waits unapologetically, tries to cute and shit.

Speaker 3 (26:04):
Right, and what else can we do?

Speaker 2 (26:06):
All right, let's say, let's say you're here, where where
we are, where carry is? In this moment, we decided
to be nutty. We decided to stalk our boyfriend and
his mom. Now he saw us at the church that
he just asked us not to go to. Lord knows
you never been before. It's our riding day. I'm sure
we have a deadline, but anyway, here we are. He
sees you, what do you do?

Speaker 6 (26:26):
Yeah, I guess she handled it the best way. I
probably make some cringe face personally and like a deer
in the headlights, because that's just me. And then think
of my lie the whole time I with Miranda and
probably definitely stayed until the end of the service.

Speaker 3 (26:38):
Yeah, there's no lie in the world.

Speaker 6 (26:40):
But we wanted to go, Miranda, my girlfriend wants to go,
and Charlotte said, this is the best church on the
East Side.

Speaker 4 (26:45):
But she was trying to She was trying to hide
her crazy for cute like it's like for you know,
like she was trying to play cute. No.

Speaker 3 (26:54):
Yeah, she did good. Yeah she did as good as
you can be, as good as you can do.

Speaker 2 (26:59):
At the end of the sears, Carrie is waiting for
Big and his mother because you know, why not he
told you he didn't want you to meet her.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
He don't know that this is a private moment. But
I'm gonna wait.

Speaker 2 (27:08):
Right Yeah, and she sees him come out.

Speaker 3 (27:11):
She's like, Maranda, go away, go aheay, there you go.

Speaker 2 (27:13):
So I's fixing her hair, takes her hat off trying
to look out cute, and he's like, oh, were you
that young lady that was making all that noise. She's like, eh,
it was the slippery gloves. She has a little small
talk with the mother like isn't this a lovely church,
and she's like, oh, yes.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
It's lovely. It's lovely, mother.

Speaker 5 (27:30):
This is my friend, Carrie. I searched her face looking
for the light of recognition, but there was nothing. Carrie, Carrie.

Speaker 3 (27:39):
I'm just gonna go and say goodbye to the pastor.
It was lovely meeting you, not Carrie Carrie playing yourself
with a second.

Speaker 5 (27:50):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (27:51):
I'm just like, yeah, I'm cringing.

Speaker 2 (27:53):
Carry carry mister Biggs right there, and I'm saying cool
I heard the first time.

Speaker 3 (27:58):
Lovely me either.

Speaker 4 (28:01):
Keeps getting worse and worse.

Speaker 3 (28:03):
It really does, it really does, and.

Speaker 6 (28:05):
Carries like your friend, Carrie, Ugh, that's not cool too,
Like am I like, I mean whatever, he has his boundary,
but you can't be introducing me to people as your friend.

Speaker 3 (28:15):
If i'm your girlfriend, bro, it's my mom. I told
you I wasn't ready.

Speaker 4 (28:18):
For you to meet, and you're acting crazy.

Speaker 3 (28:20):
Why are you here?

Speaker 6 (28:22):
That's why I just feel like, well, you said he
introduced it as a girlfriend, but that ain't his girl.

Speaker 3 (28:26):
It's not his girl, girl not locked in in And
I'm like, it's only.

Speaker 4 (28:30):
Been a couple of months months, like to carry tell
her mom exactly, why is she judging him or expecting
this if she's on doing it herself.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
You act like you've been with this man for a
year that six months, Like we're not in our teenagers,
twenty years. We got to run and tell our parents everything,
our family everything, Like wait.

Speaker 4 (28:49):
Are we really arguing that they're not together together right now?

Speaker 3 (28:53):
I think doesn't.

Speaker 4 (28:54):
I think they're together.

Speaker 3 (28:55):
I think they are too.

Speaker 4 (28:56):
I feel like, yeah, I.

Speaker 6 (28:58):
Think he's probably still dating multiple ways and having fun.
If he's not dating multiple women, he's just having fun.
I think he's just taking his time to be there
at the end.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
Think he's divorced, he's of a certain age, he's moving
with intention, he's taking you seriously, just at his own pace,
and you're like, we need to be here because this
is what here means to me, Like.

Speaker 3 (29:18):
No, that's you.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
Like, I'm taking you as seriously as I can right now.
Just give it time. But you know, she did get
upset that she says it's friend, and he's like, you
showed up here after I asked you not to.

Speaker 3 (29:31):
What are you testing me now? Why the sudden interest
in me and my mom?

Speaker 2 (29:35):
And she asked if his mother even has heard of her,
and he's like, my mother doesn't need to meet another girlfriend.
He's had girlfriend, and he said he'll introduce her as
his girlfriend when he's sure.

Speaker 6 (29:49):
I mean, just because he's had girlfriend doesn't mean it's exclusive.
But we can agree to disagree. Maybe she's his girlfriend.
I just don't think they're locked in. I don't know
if he's wifey.

Speaker 3 (29:59):
I'd be hurt.

Speaker 4 (30:00):
I'd be hurt though if he he with his responses.
But again, she she had it coming.

Speaker 2 (30:07):
Yeah, she put herself in that position. M He's just like,
I gotta do things on my own time frame. She's
like time frame. She just keeps repeating everything he says.
And he's like, She's like, we've been going out for months, months, months,
and he says we'll get there. Just have a little faith.

Speaker 4 (30:23):
Faith.

Speaker 3 (30:24):
Yeah, bitch, you hear everything I'm saying. But mister Bing's
a little bit more respectful, Thank god, because.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
Girl, get out of here. I'm so annoyed, like, this
is my Sunday with my mom. Why are you even
here trying to fight with me? I'm so annoyed. He's like, listen,
we're going on vacation in a couple of days. Right now,
I got to get my mom home. We'll talk about everything.

Speaker 3 (30:42):
We're we're on vacation.

Speaker 2 (30:43):
He's like, all right, go go. He's like I already was, no,
I'm kidding. He didn't say that, but he does go.
And then she's sitting in church alone and Miranda comes
back and said she didn't leave because Carrie didn't seem fine.
She tells Miranda that Big introduced him, introduced her to
his mother as a friend, and his mother never heard
of her, And she's like that's not a good sign,

(31:03):
is it? And I just think that again, they're they're
at the point where they're going on vacation together.

Speaker 3 (31:08):
Like the relationship is having growth.

Speaker 2 (31:10):
It's not like there he's still making out what women
at parties in front of you. He's not still you know,
whatever other stuff he did this season. It's growing at
his pace and you could choose except that or not.
You know, yeah, but you can't force things, like she's
trying to do.

Speaker 4 (31:26):
Exactly, let the relationship grow naturally and stop trying to
impose these expectations.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
Yeah, Rand is like maybe him and his mom aren't
that close. And Carrie's like, girl, don't lie to me
in church because now she'll religious. And Carrie says she
can't get inside and that's her issue. She wants to
be inside mister Big and he's not letting her in
at the pace that she wants to be let in.

Speaker 4 (31:53):
And again she's constantly trying to force things on him. Yeah,
and you know, like after the second her third time,
give it a rest. Yeah, it's it's not it, that's
not it.

Speaker 3 (32:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (32:06):
And I feel like Miranda, like she's very cynical and
honest a lot of the times, and I feel like
when she really needs to be with Carrie, she isn't.
And yeah, beats into it too.

Speaker 7 (32:17):
Well.

Speaker 3 (32:17):
She don't want to carry why she's down, that's true.

Speaker 4 (32:20):
But yeah, but I feel like sometimes, you know, at
least with close friendships, you need that honesty sometimes, like
if you see me going crazy for this man, talk
to me, like tell me, you know, try and speak
some sense to me. Please.

Speaker 2 (32:38):
At least that's and you know what the friends to
talk to when you need that. I think she needed
to talk to Samantha in that moment. Smanth would have
been like, you're doing too much.

Speaker 3 (32:47):
I just want to think.

Speaker 5 (32:48):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (32:49):
And the next scene, Stanford invited everyone to a party
and it's the debut of.

Speaker 3 (32:55):
A new fragrance called Fallen angel. I just love the.

Speaker 2 (32:59):
Writers dummies, but Stanford is his boot. Stanford once everybody
need his bull. They were shopping for cattle's earlier that day,
and Stanford's like, we turned into one of those couples
that I hate and I love it for myself pretty much.
So Stanford then asked, carry are you excited to go
on your vacation with mister big. She feels like it's
a consolation prize for not letting her into his life.

Speaker 6 (33:21):
Nothing is ever good enough, and it's okay, Like you
don't have to settle when you don't want to settle,
but don't drive yourself crazy in the process.

Speaker 3 (33:29):
You got to pull a Charlotte.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
Yeah, yeah, you just want We want it all when
you want it all.

Speaker 5 (33:37):
He wouldn't introduce me to his mother.

Speaker 3 (33:39):
All right, Carrie, I'm gonna go back and hang out
with my bull.

Speaker 2 (33:42):
Good luck with that. God bless is my fragrance party.
That's how I would have reacted if I was Stanford.
But people be dealing with carry shit for whatever reason.

Speaker 6 (33:49):
And he did introduce you, he said, Mom, this is Carrie,
my friend. He didn't just bust a quick left when
he saw you the.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
Cab mo, Mom, gotta go, got go anyway, Miranda, she
runs into Skipper at this party because apparently Stanford invited
everybody in his roll of decks, and Skipper's like, I've
been thinking about you since they broke up.

Speaker 3 (34:14):
Did you have? And she tells.

Speaker 2 (34:15):
Skipper tells her that she looks great, and she returns
the compliment, and then Carrie Nary read it a few
months apart. She had a new light on Skipper, or
it shed a new light that he doesn't shower right
after sex.

Speaker 3 (34:27):
So of course Miranda has to bother Skipper again.

Speaker 4 (34:29):
You know what I thought, she called him. I didn't
realize they bumped into each other or they were at
the same event.

Speaker 6 (34:35):
Yeah, I was surprised she was nice to him. I
was expecting her like, well, her eyes are get annoyed
by something he did, But no, she was nice the
whole time.

Speaker 4 (34:41):
She's nice when she wants sex from him.

Speaker 3 (34:44):
Yeah. True.

Speaker 2 (34:45):
The girls get Samantha into the bathroom and they have
to get the rundown on James.

Speaker 5 (34:51):
For you, what's going on?

Speaker 7 (34:53):
Why are you crying?

Speaker 3 (34:56):
James has a small dick.

Speaker 5 (34:57):
Oh well, it's not the end of the world.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
They're very supportive friends. They tell her size isn't everything,
and then Samantha says.

Speaker 3 (35:06):
What about three inches?

Speaker 4 (35:08):
Hard?

Speaker 3 (35:10):
Is he a good kisser? The fuck cares? His dick
is like a girkin, the small little pickles. It's so cute.
How Samantha is like having a breakdown. I don't know.

Speaker 6 (35:20):
I just thought it was adorable because she doesn't always
show her weakness like this or need this level of
consoling from her friends. And yeah, they really showed up
for her. Oh yeah, Samantha, Like we said yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:31):
And Samantha feels like a really bad person and she's like,
I'm a terrible person. Miranda's like, no, you're not. You
just had expectations. And she's like, why why does he
have to have a small penis? Which is true, man,
it's always something bro eighty twenty. He was perfect. I
loved him. Ah, I can't even feel it. That's what
Samantha says. She's like, I like him, and they're like,

(35:52):
oh wait, you like him now, because last time you
said you loved him, But now it's just like Miranda
tries to make a relatable joke, as she always does,
and she's like, one time she had a really small penis.
It was the size of like a mini pencil. She
couldn't tell if he were trying to fuck or erase her,
but they started. Then she starts to problem solve, like
there are ways to work around it.

Speaker 3 (36:13):
The Samantha's like, I don't want to work around it.
I love a big dick.

Speaker 2 (36:18):
When I blow him, it's like nothing. So Miranna is like,
is it something that you can talk to him about?
And she's like, no, it's the one thing that we
can't talk about. So Charlotte asked, well, how was he
with his tongue? Which I love coming from Charlotte, that's
just right there.

Speaker 4 (36:37):
Because she's happy that Samantha is gonna be the first
one to get married.

Speaker 2 (36:42):
Probably on the low, you're right about that. Charlotte left
the party to go see another psychic who told her
again that she's not going to get married, and she's cursed,
but they offer, They're like, we can remove the curse
for one hundred dollars, and that's when Charlotte was like
all right, yeah, now, you know, you can only get
so far with Charlotte before she's like.

Speaker 3 (37:00):
Okay, yeah, not doing this.

Speaker 2 (37:01):
So she stormed out, and then she realized that she
was being really foolish and refused to give into the
idea that she's cursed and that she'll never get married.
All she had to do was keep believing because she
knew it would happen.

Speaker 6 (37:14):
I love that for Charlotte, and I feel like in
this episode with religiosity, it showed Charlotte trying to go
into other elements of higher power and seeking answers that
aren't quite through prayer, and then it just kind of
showed like the scam on the back end, like they'll
tell you something, but then they'll try to get more
money out of you to breathe the things that you want.
So I just thought that was a cool thing to see.

Speaker 3 (37:33):
Yeah, back to Miranda Ruin in Skipper's Life, do you.

Speaker 2 (37:37):
Want to spend the night?

Speaker 1 (37:38):
The night?

Speaker 5 (37:39):
Oh yeah, a whole night. I knew we'd get back together.

Speaker 7 (37:48):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (37:49):
Every night I'd light a candle and say a little prayer.

Speaker 2 (37:54):
You're a freak, would you and even say a prayer,
light a candle and other religious play. And she calls
him a free because that's her outlook on religion and
everything that you know revolves around it.

Speaker 3 (38:06):
But we're a skipper man. Maybe I find that.

Speaker 6 (38:09):
A little weird because he dumbed her last time they
were together, so you could have had her. I mean,
she didn't want him exclusively, so maybe he's just in
his boundaries and it's okay. Maybe he wanted her to
come back to him the way he wanted to have her,
versus the way she wanted to have him in her life.

Speaker 4 (38:23):
And I don't. I don't feel bad for Skipper anymore.
I mean, first time, maybe, second time, third, No, he
look he's loving it, so I don't feel bad for him.
It's like in Spanish, we have the same leuis tela
ma lavina. He like, he loves it. He loves being
abused by Miranda, so let him have it.

Speaker 3 (38:43):
Yep, if you like it, I love it. Mm hmm.
That's what we say in English.

Speaker 2 (38:50):
Samantha's still trying to desperately believe that love is stronger
than sex. She's crying the whole time she's having sex
with James. He's like, are you crying?

Speaker 3 (38:59):
She's like, I'm just so happy.

Speaker 4 (39:03):
You know.

Speaker 6 (39:04):
She really must love him because the Manta keeps it real.
She she ain't out on the truth, and I was
surprised by that.

Speaker 2 (39:11):
Yeah, honestly, if I'm crying while I'm being intimate, I'm
just gonna have to pull the plug.

Speaker 3 (39:15):
I can't do this.

Speaker 2 (39:15):
My body is rejecting this in every way, shape and
form of the word. So whatever them. Back to Carrie,
she's all packed for her trip. She stayed up all
night questioning her faith and faith mister Big comes to
pick her up for their vacation.

Speaker 3 (39:32):
He's rushing.

Speaker 2 (39:33):
He's like, let's go, hurry up, Harry up, We're going
to miss the plane, and she tells him.

Speaker 3 (39:36):
Hold on a second, put the bags out. Put the
bags out.

Speaker 7 (39:39):
I like those old religious movies. You want to voice
from thee up, just tell.

Speaker 3 (39:45):
Me the line.

Speaker 4 (39:46):
This bitch is crazy, like before vacation, Like, there's no
way to excuse this one scene. Or do you think differently, Kayla,
because you love carry.

Speaker 2 (40:00):
I do relate to Carrie on a lot of levels.
And I do think that this was excessive. Like he's
telling you, we're growing, he's telling you to have faith.
I think you got to take things day by day.
You're going on vacation with the most perfect man of
your dreams where you could do whatever you want with
him in the Caribbean for how many days?

Speaker 3 (40:19):
Like enjoy that? Tell me I'm the one. You can't
tell somebody to tell you that.

Speaker 2 (40:24):
And even if he did say it in that moment,
wouldn't you feel like he was just saying that to
appease you rather than that's what he wanted to share
with you in that moment because he truly felt it.
But that really be enough for you? It's just it's sad.
It's sad.

Speaker 4 (40:37):
Yeah, you know, like Dana would see, she's been a
what is it a pick Mesha pic Mesha? And also
like Carrie. So you don't break up with the guy
after you find out he's dating multiple women, but you
break up with him after he done. He sets a
boundary and he is not ready to introduce you to
his mom, and so you break up with him. Make

(40:58):
it make sense.

Speaker 6 (40:59):
This women don't respect bounce it and she just continues
to spiral. It's like the more she gets in with him,
the more she needs from him. He gives her, you know,
a little bit more, a little bit more, and she
just keeps eating more than what she's getting until the
point where I guess it's breaking, Like I just can't
take it anymore.

Speaker 4 (41:15):
And you know what, Carrie needs therapy. She really needs therapy,
these fucking traumas. Yeah, so she doesn't keep reacting or
getting triggered and acting crazy.

Speaker 2 (41:27):
Crazy, right, But he looks around and he can't do it,
and she tells him, if you can't do it, I
can't do this.

Speaker 3 (41:34):
Well, she didn't say all that, but she's like, I
can't do this.

Speaker 2 (41:36):
I can't do this. He's like, Carrie, just get in
the car, please. She refuses, and she's like, I love.

Speaker 3 (41:41):
You, but I can't. He can't say it back. He's like,
so that's it, and she shakes her head. Yes. So
he gets in the car and leaves, call up his
next moot, like yeo.

Speaker 6 (41:51):
Out to the cribinat with somebody else, And he left
her ass on the curve. I gotta catch my flight.

Speaker 2 (41:58):
I was always going to the caribbe it mae me
a nice little you know, woman that's been kissed by
the sun and a little supermodel over there. But anyway,
she stands on the corner watching him leave, and there's
a song playing No Regrets in the background, and I
think that's indicative I guess how she feels in that moment.
But she did say she cried for a week after
she left, but she realized that she had to have

(42:20):
faith in herself that I.

Speaker 3 (42:24):
Would one day meet someone.

Speaker 5 (42:28):
That I was the one due.

Speaker 3 (42:32):
And that's the season finale.

Speaker 2 (42:33):
She's going to meet somebody that's going to be sure
that she's the one within a couple of months of dating.

Speaker 4 (42:39):
Also, like, why are you giving the power to the
other person, Like what you should be worried about whether
or not do you think the person you're with is
the one, not the other way around.

Speaker 3 (42:51):
Well, she knows that he's the one, She's sure he's
the one.

Speaker 2 (42:54):
She just wants the the feeling reciprocated. I want you
to feel this way about me as well, because I
think she she she missed Big is everything to her.

Speaker 4 (43:03):
Yeah, but I think that if your person isn't making
you feel reassured, I mean in a normal situation, not
this Carrie, Big situation, right, But if they're not making you,
if they're not reassuring you, then yes, But like Carrie's
taking it on a whole other level.

Speaker 3 (43:22):
I agree.

Speaker 6 (43:23):
Yeah, she just did way too much, way too much,
and talk to herself out of this relationship. But I mean,
I guess she's finally accepting that it's just not what
she wants. He's not meeting her standard. But she just
does things at the worst time at least so St.
Barts would have changed anything.

Speaker 3 (43:40):
But you always.

Speaker 2 (43:43):
Act like a wife the whole vacation. You know, I'll
handle the reservations, the plan, do a little maybe not
cooking because learn know she can't, so don't scare them
away more.

Speaker 3 (43:53):
But yeah, you could you had time.

Speaker 2 (43:54):
You had time, maybe have him introduced his mom by
the time you got back from vacation the way you
put it on.

Speaker 4 (43:59):
Yeah, I really want to know how long you've been dating?

Speaker 3 (44:02):
A couple months?

Speaker 4 (44:04):
What is that? Like? What three? Four months?

Speaker 5 (44:06):
Sure?

Speaker 3 (44:06):
Okay, let's wrong with that. Maybe like six? I don't
know that.

Speaker 6 (44:09):
I mean they had mad, you know, episode one to
episode twelve, her friends have had mad, different boyfriends.

Speaker 3 (44:15):
The relationships last a week maybe two? Maybe?

Speaker 6 (44:19):
I mean we don't know their timelines either, but I'm
just saying they had hell like Maranda had a three
month dry spell. Oh true, true true, Oh shit, but
that being says fit nine months. But still Skipper came
back seven times. Now it's time to get into the
cringiest moments of the episode.

Speaker 7 (44:37):
Ruh.

Speaker 6 (44:41):
So the first one we have is Carrie insisting that
she go to church with mister Big and his mom,
and after he tells her no, it's a private moment
for him and his mom, she slows up to the
church anyway with Miranda after Big you know, told her
not to. So she clearly just doesn't respect boundaries and
she showed up to the church and totally embarrassed herself
in more ways than one, dropping the Bible to assuming
his mom knew who he was. The next moment is

(45:04):
Miranda once again contacting Skipper, well, once again inviting Skipper
back to her place to stay with him, after already
knowing she just don't want this man, so continuing to
just toy him along and play with him.

Speaker 3 (45:17):
Randa, leave that man alone.

Speaker 6 (45:20):
And the next one is Samantha not realizing James had
already put it in when it was in like Okay,
I'm ready after all that moan, and I thought they
was doing it and then damn it was already in.
And the next one is Miranda not respecting her her
boyfriend's boundaries for the needed to take a shower after
sex and trying to get him to convince him that

(45:43):
sex is not a sin and he doesn't need to shower.
Just respect that man's boundaries, but also and then getting
her ass dumped after sex. So not only I'm not
going to shower when I get out on what you hear?

Speaker 2 (45:57):
Embarrassing well about Davis carry at the church with that
dumb ass hat making that dumb ass scene. Ah for
the whole congregation carry carry. I just I hate it all.
I hate it all.

Speaker 6 (46:11):
Yeah, same at the church, especially the part went she
was like carry carry And for me, it's more cringing
than dropping the Bible.

Speaker 4 (46:19):
Like I really felt embarrassment. Yeah, I felt it throughout
my body.

Speaker 2 (46:23):
Rights like I'm like doing the show prep like with
its face, like the whole face, like h yeah, all right,
so that's the cringiest moment.

Speaker 7 (46:34):
Bruh.

Speaker 4 (46:35):
Now let's get into sex and the social media At
Jada Pinkett's Burner account, watching Sex in the City for
the first time. I'll be thirty six is coming Satch season.
Carrie really asking this man before they're supposed to catch
a fight. It's crazy as hell. I haven't really seen
Big be wrong yet, but I'm only in season one,

(46:56):
so cringe.

Speaker 2 (46:57):
Jayda pike is burner account. Did you not see a
make out with a girl at a party in front
of Carry?

Speaker 3 (47:01):
He didn't make up.

Speaker 2 (47:02):
It's an exaggeration, but she didn't come up and GISs
him on the lips, like the fuck anyway? That that
that episode, I was mad at mister Big, But all right,
Dada's burner account.

Speaker 4 (47:12):
I don't know. Big has definitely been bad wrong. I
mean in many.

Speaker 3 (47:17):
Episodes, Carry has been worse.

Speaker 4 (47:21):
Okay, Now, let's this TikTok from Alexandra. Alexandra plays this
scene where they're literally about to go on vacation and
Carrie says this. Sarah Jessica Parker plays this role so
well I forget she's acting. You can literally feel her desperation.

(47:42):
She wants this man to yearn for her so bad. Yes, fringe,
let's get into the commons. I need a sign yet
ignores the billions of obvious red flags. True, her not
spending all of his money will always piss me off.
At this point, I'm rooting for Big. Yeah, slightly.

Speaker 3 (48:04):
Lightly.

Speaker 2 (48:05):
One of the comments is like he didn't not wait
a second. They were like, literally, he was like, okay bye.

Speaker 4 (48:12):
Another comment, Carrie, just get in the fucking.

Speaker 2 (48:14):
Car right, free trip somebody's business. Last Someone's like, I
love Carrie. Oh, we've all been there.

Speaker 3 (48:22):
Who's we?

Speaker 2 (48:24):
I mean, I've been relatable to Carry in a lot
of these episodes, but this one, this last scene, no
immediately now.

Speaker 4 (48:30):
Also, baby, sometimes you gotta live in the moment, true.

Speaker 3 (48:34):
Take it a dad a time boo.

Speaker 4 (48:35):
Right.

Speaker 3 (48:35):
If any moment was to live in a moment, was.

Speaker 4 (48:37):
That one exactly.

Speaker 3 (48:39):
Somebody's like, oh, I would have went on the trip
and just enjoyed myself.

Speaker 4 (48:42):
Okay, Carry the sign is the paid trip, right, mm hmm.

Speaker 3 (48:47):
Somebody's like Big didn't give a damn.

Speaker 4 (48:51):
I'm gonna start watching this show and take and taking
notes on what not to do.

Speaker 6 (48:55):
Yes, period, I learned a lot about what not to
do when this whole first season.

Speaker 3 (48:59):
H this first season was amazing.

Speaker 6 (49:02):
I really enjoyed it. At the end of the day,
I love the show. I love these girls as much
as I love to hate them.

Speaker 4 (49:07):
I love them, Yeah, I mean as much as Carrie
pisses me off and Big pisses me off. I really
love I love to hate them. I love to hate them.
I love watching the show and I have fun. It's fun.

Speaker 2 (49:21):
Yeah, yeah, a lot of takeaways from season one, A
lot of things learned about these girls, a perspective I've
never seen before, you know, watching Sex and the City
under this view, you just you just get a different
a different perspective on these girls. And they are just
complex characters that you can't help but love. Can't wait
to get into season two with you girls. And that
was season one, Sex and Stuff. Yeah, Sexy the City
