Speaker 1 (00:01):
This is Sex in the City of Angels podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Welcome back to Sex in the City of Agelad. Feel
so good to be here. I'm so excited to start
off season two because season one was a lot. I
loved it all.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
I'm Kayla, I'm Aliah Kai, I'm Dana, I'm Norma.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
And if you guys remember, at the end of season one,
Carrie lost to God damn I okay, uh stalk Big
at church begged me his mama, and then dumped them
When he said no, but I'll take you on vacation,
babes was She was like, I can't do this, tell
me I'm the one. He didn't say it, so she
dumped them. Now we in season two when she's going

(00:56):
through that breakup. She's walking through Manhattan looking like shit
zem Big even where he isn't and she says that
when you break up, there are certain places you can't go,
certain things off limits because they always remind you of
that person.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
She says certain streets, locations, even times a day, are
off limits. The city becomes a deserted battlefield loaded with
emotional land mines.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
You have to be very careful where you step.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
You could be blown to pieces, and that's not even
dramatic I feel. I mean, I never had a breakup
in La, but I did have a situationship, and I've
run into this dude every he'd be coming up and
tapping me on my back, my sister and like, bro

(01:47):
go away, son, I can't stand it. Oh were you heartbroken?
My feeling shower neither here nor there? Embarrassing right Anyway,
her friends pull up on her. They're trying to drag
her out there, like, girl, you gotta get it together,
and she's like, all right, I'll go out with y'all

(02:08):
as long as I won't run into him. Like all right,
we promise you won't run into him. She's like, when
you want to get out of this hostage situation. And
Charlotte's like, don't.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
Listen to her, Carrie, it's only been a month.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
It takes half the total time you went out with
someone to get over them. Do you guys agree with that?
It's so funny.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
I was thinking about this recently, Like I met a
guy recently who I guess he was in this previous
relationship for twelve years, So that's what I thought about, Like,
it takes half the time that you were with the
person to get over them. So I was thinking, it's
gonna take him six years to get over there, and
I'm like, where did I hear that from? And then
we started watching this again, I'm like, oh, that's like
totally aligned.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
He's like six years removed. Oh okay.

Speaker 6 (02:46):
According to Charlotte, is he know did you ask him
where he broke up with her?

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Or they broke up? She dumped him?

Speaker 6 (02:53):
Yeahs like so that so when women break up with
the men, they are like, I find that they have
a hard time getting so You're probably right.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
And he's showed that it was a hard time for
him to get over so yeah, Charlie, Oh yeah. Charlotte
says that's the break that's the break up rule, and
Maranda is like, Nah, that's not it. You just cut
your ties, count your losses, and move on with your
life like that's it and just move on get out
to the next person. I guess essentially is what Miranda
is saying.

Speaker 6 (03:20):
I take that approach for sure.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
I agree with that.

Speaker 5 (03:23):
I mean, I think that approach works. Yeah, I don't
necessarily agree that that's the right way to do it.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
But it works. It does. It does work.

Speaker 6 (03:29):
I think just dating multiple and getting distracted. But you
don't have to sleep with them. But however, you if
you want to sleep with them, cool. But I find
it just like moving on faster, just go out and date, like,
forget this guy I was so yesterday.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Definitely you want to engage with somebody else, you know.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
In this episode, we do we do learn that carrying
big dated for a year, yes, And I feel like
a year is a pretty long time, a pretty long time,
and so I feel like it'd be best if people
take the time to grow and like go through the
process of the breakup, right, that's if you don't, like
if you don't deal with your emotions or like the

(04:07):
grieving or the loss of you know, the breakup of
a relationship. I feel like you never really address your
emotions and you're just like hopping from one person to another,
and I feel like that could be an issue.

Speaker 5 (04:21):
Yeah, I feel like you're taking that trauma into the
new relationship. You need to process, like what do I
learn from this, What do I need to do differently?

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Where do I grow?

Speaker 5 (04:29):
I don't know if you can realistically process that when
you're already mostly involved with someone.

Speaker 6 (04:33):
But at the same time, I do agree that there's
a different timeline for everyone.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
M h, I agree with that. Yeah, well, Mariana's acting
pretty cool right now, but she's like, that's what I do.
I just get over people, and I don't I get
I move on all my life and I check my losses.
And Carrie is like, actually, you're rewriting history right now
because I'm going down like that because she brings up Eric,
who was a love of Miranda's life before you left
her for another woman. Now Randa doesn't even mention them,

(04:59):
but she's like, that's how I gotta Eric. I just
moved on. It's like, girl, we all had those friends.
You gotta give signed are like, all right, I wasn't there.
I don't remember what really happened. But it's sucks when
your friends remember stuff. I tell you that much. Look
look at me. So Charlotte, you get over him by
actually playing everything you hate about them in your mind

(05:20):
over and over again. And that's actually a scientifically proven
psychological fact that ruminating on the negative it's how you
get over them. That it makes sense.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
I love Charlotte for dropping the relationship Gems. I feel
like Charlotte comes with so much relationship wisdom, Like, I
just love the things that she says because I connect
with it so much.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
I agree with Charlotte's statement because when I was getting
through my breakup, one of the things I did do
is I made a list of all the fucked up
shit he did, and whenever, you know, you start missing them,
it was helpful to read that shitty ass list, you know.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Yeah, Oh my god, sometimes you do it so well
you can't remember any of the good, Like why was
I with this person?

Speaker 3 (06:05):
Yeah, you're like, holy ship, what the what the fuck
is wrong?

Speaker 2 (06:07):
What did you say? Season one, episode one, I was
a loser ass bitchy man, And that's exactly what I.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
Yeah, that is I truly believe in that you attract
what you.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Are really or who you believe you are. Yeah, got
accept responsibility, but you need some good girlfriends. Like Harry
has Miranda and Charlotte get her out the house and
they're like, we got a surprise for you. Miranda gets
I mean, Carrie gets really over dreshed. She looks absolutely beautiful,
and that repeat it for a jacket, which is okay,
it's okay to repeat clothes, but we just if you
The store Bonus episode you'll get what I'm referencing. She's

(06:41):
really overdressed what they surprised her with. And she's like,
I just think that Big should move out of the
city because I lived here first and I don't want
to have to run into him wherever I am. And
Miranda actually had a really solid point in this one.
She says, you can way too much power.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
You broke up with him, Yeah, right, right right, that.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
Makes you went happy. And I do think she's given
them way too much power, like bro all the damn
times here.

Speaker 5 (07:09):
I want to acknowledge that her process is valid. You know,
you got when you go through a breakups, you got
to go through your motions. It's not a perfect picture.
I'm good, I moved on, I love me, I'm full
of self love. I'm ready for the next. No, she
has to go through the motions. I was surprised that
in Manhattan she's worried about running intohim because I consider
it like a major city. But but I guess, like
when you run in certain circles, you know, like where

(07:31):
the hot spots are, and it seems like they're in
that kind of network.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
So and I think I Lay seems like a major city.
But America is so small, I mean, the world is
so small as a whole, and I run into people
that I don't want to see her, not that I
never think i'll see, and it's like, what the hell
are you doing here?

Speaker 6 (07:44):
Yeah, I've never run into anyone that I knew, like
guys that I've dated. Even like if I didn't care,
I think I would still try to avoid it because
I feel like it would be so awkward, like I
don't claim you after you're the you're the you know
the past.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
I don't know you.

Speaker 6 (07:58):
It's over, I never met you. I don't know this man,
what Pommer say, Like, I never yes, exactly.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
Running into people happens to me a lot of the time,
a lot of the times, even flight attendants that I
happened to learn, it happens to me a lot. So
and it's never always like it isn't always people that
I actually like. It's people sometimes that I don't like
and I just pretend like I don't see him.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
Samanthas still with Little dick Ash James if you remember,
she was with Little dick Ash James in the season
finale of season one. And I'm actually really surprised that
Samantha's keeping this relationship going because why I was shy.

Speaker 3 (08:41):
I'm wondering why, like why?

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Well, I guess she just loves him, apparently. And they
actually pull up and Samantha's all lovey dovey with him.
They're kissing, they're all over each other. He escorts her
to the car and he says, anything bad happened to
my princess?

Speaker 7 (09:00):
Oh God, Samantha, everything is going so great.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
He said he loved her, and he kissed her goodbye
and sent her off with her friends. And they've been
eating for two months now. Two months now is a
long time for Samantha, but she still hasn't accepted his shortcomings.
According to Carrie.

Speaker 5 (09:20):
Why is she with him? I'm so confused. I guess
she really likes him.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
I don't know. But they're at the Yankee Stadium. That
was a surprise, Charlotte. I mean, Cary got really dressed
up for Yankee Stadium and she's there. She's happy to
be there just because she can smoke and drink without
being judged at two PM. And Samantha, she's not happy.
She's complaining about everything. These seats suck. Everything sucks, and
that's what happens when you're getting trash penis in your life. Yeah,

(09:46):
when you're getting trash penis, you do become miserable or
no penis at all, like you're just a little bit cranky.

Speaker 6 (09:53):
Or how about settling just in general over like compromising
who you are and not really getting like having to
sacrifice what you love the most. And I think that
it can be in any other scenario where if you,
let's say that you really like to do something, you
like them, and you're like okay for the moment, and

(10:13):
then you start to build resentment and then you see
them with disgust and the exactly they start repelling you,
and then you're like, why am I in a relationship?
I've been here for like five years now, and then
you're like how did time? So there's a lot of
people in relationships like that.

Speaker 5 (10:27):
That's what happens when you settle, You build that resentment
and you're you're gonna be speaking negatively about your person
behind their back.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
Yeah. Yeah, but Samantha is just like everything sucks, and
Charlotte's like, your life doesn't suck. You have a man
who loves you.

Speaker 4 (10:42):
I don't think you ladies understand the seriousness of my situation.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Samantha shows them just how small James penis is. That
was crazy. That's it, that's it. That can't be real. You, No,
it's real. I believe. Oh, I mean you saw that's
a baby. Yeah. They call them micro penis and scientific world.

Speaker 3 (11:01):
I feel like I had a personal experience with that
first and last time we ever.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
I guess I have to.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
It's sad.

Speaker 5 (11:10):
It was definitely sad, but that was the master for
a flight, so I can't even mad.

Speaker 6 (11:14):
Yes, is it just too small?

Speaker 3 (11:17):
Word?

Speaker 6 (11:18):
Doesn't You don't feel it.

Speaker 3 (11:19):
You don't feel it.

Speaker 5 (11:20):
You don't feel anything, and you look at it, and
you want to look at it because I want you
to think I saw that.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
Imagine if they ask you to suck it, I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
Brandon gets all into the Yankees game and she's telling
them all about the new Yankee. He is a hotty.
Apparently Carrie's thinking about her dating stats and she's just
like I guess, because she can't focus on the only game.
Who would you know? Baseball is boring? But she's thinking
about how she you know, striped out and her dating
and all her relationship ends and breakups. And as she's

(12:00):
thinking of that. A fly ball right goes into the
audience or whatever the stadium. She catches it. They then
go to the locker room and the next scene to
get her things signed, her ball signed. Carrie's drunk at
this point. She's had a lot of beers at two
o'clock in the afternoon, and you know, we've all man
that I got not day drinking. Yeah, so she is
waiting for the cute yankee and he comes out. They

(12:21):
have some cute bandster back and forth. And I guess
those beers gave her some beer muscles because courageously she
asked him to the Doche and Gabona party.

Speaker 7 (12:31):
What you told me to get.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
Back in the game.

Speaker 7 (12:35):
Yeah, with some balding CPA or other boring rebound guy.
Nobody rebounds with the new yankee.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
Well maybe it's a new Carrie, Carrie says, And can
we just acknowledge like I would be so mad at Miranda,
not like in real life, like I probably wouldn't react,
but I make a mental note like I will never
tell you my good news ever again.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
Yeah that was.

Speaker 6 (12:57):
Because first of all, yeah, started to cut you off.
But the fact that she encourages her to just rip
the bandit off. Go ahead, put yourself out there. She's
doing exactly what you encourage her to do, and instead
of supporting her, you're hating on her.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
Like mad because.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
Mad, I'm mad that they making her. They're making Miranda hater?
Why are they? There was no need for them honestly.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
Well, we understand toward the end of the episode why
Miranda's acting the way she is, But in this moment,
I mean, and it all boils down to hater ration
and it has everything to do with her, nothing to
do with Carrie. But yeah, like, why are you mad?
You should be like, yes, rebound with the new Yankee, Yeah, exactly,
not like rebound with something fuddy duddy. How dare you
rebound with a stand up gentleman? Like why what you says?

Speaker 3 (13:42):
That's what I'm saying. Like, they really make Miranda seem
like a hater or just like like a loser sometimes.
You know that one episode where she really wanted to
get a validation to be chosen.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
Yeah, and you know.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
It's been multiple situations where they really make Miranda seem
like a loser and she's gone.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
I agree.

Speaker 5 (14:01):
There was a couple when I was frolling for sectional
social media, there was either love or hate with Miranda.
There was so much that said I'm Miranda, I'm Miranda,
Like I saw so much that said that compared to
like Samantha, Charlotte and carry.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
But then there was also just as much hating Miranda
for it.

Speaker 5 (14:15):
If she didn't acknowledge where she was coming from at
the end of the episode, she would have been a
true hater. But she You know, sometimes we as people
do feed into unhealthy emotions and it's good to be
able to acknowledge them later, like that was all me,
That wasn't you. If she didn't do that, then she
would have been like, get rid of that girl, cut
her off, our girl. Samantha's really going through it because
they all left and she's still hanging out in the
locker room, just trying to get a peek of a

(14:37):
grown man, Penis.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
I could just see what a normal one looks like.
That's what she was giving in the minute of like Yo,
can you get out of here? I really enjoyed that
it was so unapologetically staring. I felt like, if that
was a man, that would be completely unacceptable, Like you're disgusting, Sam,
You got it, But I didn't get to see. I
enjoyed the slow motion, the men, the nakedness. I was.

(14:59):
I was there Antha trying to get a peek. So
Carrie goes to writing her column in the next scene
and she's like, well, Charlotte, right, are we going to
get over love in a slow and painful way? Are
we supposed to just throw ourselves back into the game
and a world we're leaving each other is more frequent?
What are the breakup rules? We go to the streets.

(15:19):
Whatever you do, man, don't cry, because if you do
get back together again, then like you're the guy that cried.

Speaker 4 (15:28):
No call or see him till three months has passed.
That's how long it takes to lose the weight you
put on when your breaking up.

Speaker 7 (15:34):
People.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
Whatever she wants, but don't sign a motherfucking thing.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
Change your name, change your phone number, change your jump
They're all bumbs. I'm with alask girl. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (15:48):
I think for me, my rule is and I'm not
a breakup, get back together type of person, but I
do believe that when you break up, keep it to yourself.
For me, that's the way I abide by it. Only
because when you get back with them or if there's
a possibility they come back, you look like the crazy
one talking all this crap, and now your friends have
this animosity towards them, and then they had them and

(16:10):
then like I love him again, and it's just like, you.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
Ain't wrong, Dana, you ain't wrong. However, that's just my role. No,
I feel like I respect it. I feel like, you know,
I just meet my girlfriends when I'm going through things,
you know, like I just need it. But at the
same time, they never forget that you say never. It's
a real whack.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
And then it's so awkward because then we are hanging
out with you and the other person like nothing.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
Yeah, and say hi to him, Hey, nice to see
you again.

Speaker 5 (16:45):
I can't fake it, like, can you tell me some stuff?
And I already see dude for who he is.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
I'm done. I don't not like this, dude. I am
not impressed. You fake it well.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
I won't go to dinner with you.

Speaker 6 (16:54):
And I'm sure you're.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
Very around people that you didn't like that I was
eating people.

Speaker 5 (17:01):
I'm thinking about my friend when I'm around her. Baby dad,
I do not I'm not nice to him.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
He's a jerk. Okay, I know I've done that with him.
Like now, it's time for the Dojaygabaa party. Carrie's getting ready.
She's already late, she said. The Yankees running ten minutes
late and she's twenty minutes behind. That's the story of
my life.

Speaker 6 (17:20):
Child.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
But she as she's getting ready, she stumbles upon a
picture of her and mister Big and she's like, rule
number one of a breakup lead all the pictures where
he looks sexy, oh boy, and you look happy. Really,
that's very true. You have to delete the text threads,
delete all the when you're ready.

Speaker 6 (17:40):
I have all the proof just in case, Like I
just look back. I'm like, let me see I have
just like in conversation, if it comes up, I'm like, oh,
this is him, you know, or like I'll look at
the messages to remind me, like, oh damn, this is
how I was feeling at this time. I'm glad I
blocked them.

Speaker 5 (17:57):
It's not her when you really like them to have
that there like to reminisce over it.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
No, yeah, I know, and I delete the threat. That's
what I'm really done with you, even though JK because
they can't. I got know the messages from a year ago.

Speaker 6 (18:09):
So first of all, but you can undeleted, not after
thirty days is done.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
I deleted text, but I took pictures before I deleted it,
and my therapist at the time told me that don't
put any pressure on yourself to delete anything that you're
not ready to delete. You and them when you're ready.
And when I was ready, I burned everything.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
Yeah, yeah, I see.

Speaker 6 (18:31):
I knew people that for Valentine's Day we did a
Galentines They all brought a picture of their ex to
burn it. Why did they get back with them? One
of the girls is getting married to them, So this
is just this is why I'm like, do you But okay.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
They burned it. Then they did a se.

Speaker 2 (18:51):
They at the party and it's a home run for
fashion heavy hitters and attendance. Charlotte is dating a new guy,
as we can expect because Charlotte don't right, Charlotte don't
have a man arm. She's dating Paul Erickson. He's VP
of record of a Record Labels Classical and Jazz Division.
Stuff's gonna change your mind.

Speaker 7 (19:11):
His concentration and emotion and phrasing, it's fucking magical.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
He was handsome, smart, eclectic, the perfect match for Charlotte,
except for one minor snack.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
You like the way that she used the worst snag
that was cute, terrible. His snag is that he keeps
grabbing his bowels in the middle of the party. Is
he like scratching his balls? I don't know what he's doing,
but Charlotte like holds his hand, like to stop him,
because you know, Charlie's a class act. But she's not
going to be like yo, chill her friends. But she's
gonna try and play it off like give me your hand,

(19:45):
and that's what she did. But they peeped. They peeped
your man grabbing his penis. And then Karen gets distracted
because she sees mister Big again at this party, and
guess who ain't there mister Big. She is illusional, is
losing and chats she's been obsessed. And then Charlie's like, oh,
what's wrong? I thought I saw mister Big. And then

(20:06):
Charlotte's like, oh, do you think he'll be here? Carrie
lied as you should see your girlfriends of Cornadana and
said no, I don't even think about her.

Speaker 4 (20:16):
Break up rutle number two. Lie, it's a lot easier
than a bidding. That's why you invited to be Yankee
and why you maxed out your credit card to buy
the dress.

Speaker 2 (20:25):
Carry gonna make a bad financial decision, person, and foremo
was that right? But mister Big never made an appearance,
and that's always a disappointment too. When you want to
see her exual you look bombing with this bomb ask
He's like, please please please walk in here. It ain't
never do so, yeah, that's gonna happen to her that night.
He didn't. So she decided, how right, let me actually
get to know this new Yankee or whatever. And they

(20:45):
have a little flirt back and forth, and then they
start making out and she's like, here, I am exactly
one month after my breakup making out with someone else.
But you know I probably would have made out with
somebody a little bit sooner her personally, Yeah, person, you
know you're not about to have me down it out,
that's first of all. But the next day she's with
her friends and she did that check me, John, because

(21:07):
she's in page six with the Yankee looking accident, and
that's about to do it. That's the way you do it,
and you definitely need a friend like Samantha Baye. Dress
just paid for itself.

Speaker 3 (21:19):
Big is gonna say this and die.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
Carrie is still playing a coolick. I don't want him
to die. Samantha's being a real friend, Like, girl, you
ain't got a line in me. I know what you're
doing with that dress in a Yankee, you know, I
know you girl. Well, Maria is like, hey, guys, everybody,
look at a new poem pilot. Look at this ignore
they're uninterested. Charlotte brings it right back to page six, like,
oh my god, but look at you on page six.

(21:44):
I think that you should also be happy that your
friend's in page six.

Speaker 5 (21:47):
I feel like that's definitely a topic of conversation. I mean,
I don't know if Carrie's always for I mean, you know,
she's she's you know, somebody. She was on the side
of the bus. So maybe her being in the newspaper
isn't a big deal. But that is the way to
get over your ex, or to show your ex that
you've moved on, to be like in the paper with
a Yankee, equally successful man, popular, a man that Chien
man is likely a fan.

Speaker 6 (22:07):
Of, and younger.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
Oh my god, it just as rich, if not richer.
Stop playing with me. Randy's still annoyed.

Speaker 7 (22:16):
Why are we still talking about him?

Speaker 2 (22:18):
He heard her, He's out of the picture. It's over.

Speaker 7 (22:21):
Let's talk about something else.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
Okay, he ain't cheat on her.

Speaker 5 (22:26):
I mean, I was wondering why they're so mad at
Big already, Like I.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
Mean, I guess riding for your friend, Like your friend
is hurt, but your friend hurt herself. I mean I guess.

Speaker 7 (22:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (22:35):
They were together a year and he didn't want her
to be his mom, so he was playing her at
a certain position. And that's something to be upset about,
but to be so disdainful.

Speaker 2 (22:45):
They all agree to talk about something else. A Miranda,
you right, let's talk about something else. There's a moment
of silence, and then Charlotte was like, I got a problem.
My Boyfriend's like I'm gonna go pay the check. I
can't do this. Like, bro, calm me a single ass down.
I'm like, it's all right, it's all right. At least
she wasn't hating on just Carrie. So she walked away,
and then they get into it. They get into it.

(23:07):
She's like, my man won't stop touching his balls, he
won't leave him alone. Samantha's like, yeah, I know. Carrie
told me I had to I didn't know what that was.
Oh my god. So Sam's like, listen, they're just always
trying to draw our attention down there, like it's not
that serious. And She's like, I don't know. He comes

(23:27):
from a really good family. He went to Brown University.
I don't think he's that. She's like, well, does he
have a pair of lol hanging ones? And they just
low and they just get in the way of everything.
And Charlotte's like, I don't know, I haven't seen them.
Samantha's like, what, you've been dating for three weeks. You
haven't seen his penis? Like three weeks, it's not that long.

(23:48):
Like these women are crazy. Charle's like, how would men
feel if we just went touching ourselves all day every
day down there? Samitan care like they'd love it. I
really would not. If he's bratching it like like itchy, Yeah,
that's what looks like he was doing.

Speaker 3 (24:05):
Yeah, what is it? Is it? Because they gets stuck
and then they need to.

Speaker 5 (24:09):
Like sometimes I hear it get stuck to like the thigh.
One time I saw a man adjust his manhood and
it turned me on the way he was doing it
didn't turn me on.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
It was like itchy. It was like it was big
and he had like movie somebody with a pair of
low hanging ones. He never touches himself. He wears the
appropriate undergarments that like, you know, work.

Speaker 6 (24:34):
Do you think that he was touching himself so that
like to turn her on? Or it was just like
they're itchy.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
It looks to me and you're just like, yeah, I
didn't like it. I didn't like it. But Miranda comes
back and they're still talking about those damn balls. Miranda
ain't got time.

Speaker 7 (24:51):
Okay, that's it. I'm all we talk about anymore is
big or balls or small dicks?

Speaker 4 (25:02):
How does it happen that four such smart women have
nothing to talk about but boyfriends.

Speaker 7 (25:06):
It's like seventh grade with bank accounts?

Speaker 2 (25:08):
What about us? What we think? We feel?

Speaker 7 (25:11):
We know?

Speaker 2 (25:12):
Christ?

Speaker 7 (25:14):
Does it always have to be about them? Just you know,
give me a call when you're ready to talk about
something besides.

Speaker 2 (25:21):
Men for a change.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
Shut the hell up, Miranda. That's all you do every day?
Why is today different? You know?

Speaker 6 (25:27):
When I watched that episode, I for sure felt that
way where I felt like all they talk about is them,
Like they put such an emphasis, like an emphasis on
men and what they were not good enough doing, Like
they put like their energy, all their energy, their feminine
energy went into men in a negative way, like they

(25:49):
were giving their best versions and getting drained by them.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
Yeah, all they do is complain about men and also
complain about how they wanted men immediately.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
Yeah, I feel like it was their real experience. It's
what they're going through with their men.

Speaker 5 (26:02):
I feel like if I'm going through something with my
man and I want to express it to my friends
and my friend reacts the way Miranda did, I'm You're
not my friend like Samantha specifically, I'm going through this man,
through this situation with this man. This is my man,
and I'm really going through this and you know me,
you know the type of man how I move right.

Speaker 2 (26:18):
This is something different for me.

Speaker 5 (26:19):
And I need to process that and express that as
long as it takes me to process and express.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
That, of course. And I agree.

Speaker 6 (26:26):
However, it was just like with every guy up until
this season the first episode, like they're still like men,
like they revolve around men and the conversations about men.
It's not like she started off with mister Big from
the first season and then they broke up and then
they're like, oh my gosh, some heartbroken. I want to
hear you all. I want to listen to you. I
want to be a support of friend. But like with

(26:48):
every other guy they were dating, it was always that.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
I feel that I think it is sex and the city,
and I think that you can't be a part of
it and be like when you when you want to
talk about skipp or whatever you want to talk about,
you and us all the there for you, but now
that you don't, got nobody to hear about our ship. Agree,
that's not cool, Bro, that's not cool. But the girls
hurt Miranda out and they actually feel guilty. They're like
looking at each other like, oh, Miranda checked single women

(27:11):
everywhere and it's like a mouse entered single woman. But
yeah she did check mate.

Speaker 6 (27:16):
I mean yeah, she could totally. Like she sounds like
a hater for sure, after like where she went and
said to carry so.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
Charlotte and carry go shopping and Damantha, she's back to
having sex with a little dick ass James and she's
trying everything. She just wants it to work. And I
love all the baseball references that they're using to describe
the sex that she's trying to have but to no avail.

Speaker 5 (27:41):
Child, So you have the coach the hell out of him.

Speaker 2 (27:45):
You were stuck.

Speaker 4 (27:54):
At the bottom of the ninth tried there's two balls
and two strikes. The coach had no choice but to
bring in a pinch hitter.

Speaker 2 (28:03):
What's that? It's my vibrator. I thought it would be fun.

Speaker 4 (28:10):
I think just might be more fun.

Speaker 1 (28:12):
And that's not a problem, isn't it?

Speaker 4 (28:19):
But there was no joy in Mudville. Mighty Samantha had
struck out why.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
Is dude so de lulu? Like you all know what
it is, bro.

Speaker 6 (28:28):
See, That's that's where I was so annoyed because it's
just like, first of all, she wanted to make you
work with him, and then the fact that he's taking
the little joy that she was having away from her
because he didn't his ego was gonna get you know.

Speaker 3 (28:42):
Yeah, and the fact that she turned it off, Like
I was really surprised by that. It was by Samantha,
Like why would she agree to Like yeah.

Speaker 6 (28:52):
I don't even think it's offensive, Like that's not just
sweet one, that's normal.

Speaker 3 (28:55):
Listen, if at this point your dick isn't doing it,
let's bring in the toys and you should be open.

Speaker 6 (29:00):
Even if your your d is doing it.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
It's okay.

Speaker 3 (29:03):
Still exactly toys, toys all the way.

Speaker 5 (29:06):
You want me to get off, don't you. It was
funny because vibrators came out of nowhere, like you need
to reach for it. Yeah, you know, like a strap on.
I think that that would be like an easy solution
here for him to use the strap You.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
Can't ask a band with a dick to put on
a fake dick.

Speaker 3 (29:23):
That's okay, then, just then we have time to.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
At least let him use his fingers. Why you use
the vibrator? Go Norms is savage.

Speaker 6 (29:37):
How do you strap on a like a strap on
on a d based on his size?

Speaker 2 (29:42):
It's not an issue one The next sea, Charlotte's over
her man too and him grabbing himself in his digging
in the way, so she decides to buy him some
good support briefs. He apparently is super offended by that,
and you're already out shopping for me.

Speaker 1 (30:00):
Was weird.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
That was so weird. He's like, this is too fast,
you're doing too much. I don't know where you think
this is. Oh, but you want to sleep with me.
I spent with you in three weeks.

Speaker 6 (30:10):
First of all, I'm thinking about your.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
D He was like, don't do that.

Speaker 5 (30:15):
I don't know why she couldn't just have a real
conversation with him about it, and everyone told him why,
what her intentions are?

Speaker 2 (30:20):
She just let him misunderstand. Yeah, yeah, she sure did,
and he she got dumbed for it, so he dumped
her and they were together for three weeks, and true
to Charlotte's form, it took her exactly a week and
a half to get over him, which in past episodes,
I think Charlotte has gotten over men sooner because she
has a different man every single episode, but we just
don't know the timeline in those true because we didn't

(30:43):
know that they did it for a year. Miranda, she's
taking all right, because the way she ran was crazy.
But Miranda's taking a walk after deciding that she's the
only woman in New York that has any real perspective
on men. And as she's doing that, she runs into
Eric Asshole, you know, the one that dumped her for

(31:03):
another woman who she rewrote history about and is with
the woman he done dumped her for. This woman is
dressed terribly, she looks awful. She's hiding behind poles.

Speaker 3 (31:14):
Don't do that.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
Don't do that. She did look awful, No, because she did.
She wasn't dressed like Carrie was dressed. When Carrie wanted
to run into mister Big, she did look bad. She
did look she did look awful, and then she hid
behind something and she ran away in the most Why
did she run like that?

Speaker 3 (31:34):
Very it was like a casual nighties outfit. I thought
it was cool.

Speaker 2 (31:39):
So she hid behind the pole and she ran away.
But Carrie, she's with the New Yankee and she's at
a bar, and she actually runs into mister Big this.

Speaker 4 (31:49):
Time as she made his way through the crowd. I
felt calm. I had accomplished the perfect first movie. I
looked good, I felt good, and I was with the
New Yankee.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
And don't get much better than that, now, ya yay.
So then she introduces them to the New Yankee and
he's like, oh, I know who you are. I'm a
huge fan gluck to season.

Speaker 6 (32:11):
That's right, and.

Speaker 2 (32:11):
Band candled it constantly. Are you a huge fan of
I mean that's how I would feel personally. They were
real classy about it. Big was classy. She was classy,
and after he said hi to her, he looked at her,
he touched her. He said, I saw you in the paper.
You never looked better. And then he walked away. And
then there's this slow heartbeat, which I knew what that meant.

(32:33):
You know that that's just how you feel, like just
my heart is just following out my butt, like it's
just so overwhelming, like all my emotions are just all
over the place. The yankee offers her another round. She's like, yeah, sure, own,
and then they're walking. He said, hey, my buddies are
at this place. You want to come. She's like yeah,
and then he's like, all right, let me try to
kiss this weird bit. And as he starts to kiss her,

(32:56):
she cried in his mouth, all.

Speaker 6 (32:58):
Right, it's not you, this is this is really embarrassing.

Speaker 4 (33:02):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (33:04):
No I don't think I'm okay.

Speaker 4 (33:06):
I just I just cried in your mouth. I just
I can't. I'm just not I'm not ready.

Speaker 2 (33:13):
So then she goes and she didn't go home. Instead,
she goes and makes a phone call and she's like,
I know we're not good right now, but I just
need I just need you. And I don't know if
we were supposed to think that she was calling mister Big.
But I've seen in the show way too many times.
I knew who she was calling, and I wouldn't have
called it. First of all, just so y'all know, agreed,
I wouldn't have called her.

Speaker 6 (33:33):
She's tired of your bs and you're gonna call her
to tell morebus And like, I can really see.

Speaker 5 (33:37):
Charlotte or Samantha being truly supportive in that moment, So
you really called Miranda?

Speaker 2 (33:42):
That was just like, so, yeah, I don't I need support.
I need real support, and I hate it ass support.

Speaker 3 (33:46):
I'm just glad she realizes she's not writing I'm glad.

Speaker 2 (33:50):
That's true that you gotta look at the silver lining.
But she tells Miranda that she ran into mister Big,
and she knows that there's stuff weird between them right now,
but it was a lot, And Miranda said.

Speaker 7 (34:04):
That's my stuff, it's not you. I saw Eric on
the street today and I hid. After two years, I
forgot how hard it is. You just take all the
time you need.

Speaker 2 (34:17):
Okay, yeah, to admit her wrong, listen to her. So
I'm happy that she did call Miranda. Carrie says, the
fries are cold, and they laugh and they just reconnect
because's Carrie ends the episode with some real solid words
she says, and finally, the.

Speaker 4 (34:37):
Most important breakup rule. No matter who broke your heart
or how long it takes to heal, you'll never get
through it without your friends.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
And that's real man. Friendship keeps us afloat, And that's
how the episode ends. Yeah, I really, I really liked
the episode.

Speaker 7 (34:54):
For sure.

Speaker 6 (34:55):
I'm glad that she was self aware and she's you know,
but I think it's just he's always given him a
way too much credit. I just know that I really
want to be objective and on judgmental, so I'm just
going to keep it up.

Speaker 5 (35:09):
What do you mean way too much credit? I feel
like they dated for a year. She's going through valid
emotions with the breakup, right, but.

Speaker 6 (35:14):
Every time she's talking about him. How can you get
over someone you're constantly talking about and like every conversation
is about him with your friends. You cannot move on,
And then you see him like you want to see him, right,
And then you're dating, you're moving on, and then you
can't even kiss the guy because you're crying over another guy.

Speaker 2 (35:35):
You're like, go cry in your freaking room or your house.
Go go home, cry it out.

Speaker 6 (35:39):
Don't like be weak bitch.

Speaker 2 (35:41):
He got her weak, that's what he got her. So weak?
Have you ever been weak like that? I have, But
I cry that weakness so much like I do not
let myself get to that position. I cry for every
for everything but my misery. Don't love company. I'm definitely
going to do it in my room and you're not
going to know. Yeah, but that my girlfriends will.

Speaker 3 (36:03):
Like Dana said, I am really trying to be understanding
towards Carrie, but she's not doing anything to help herself.
Like again, you just you just ended a one year
relationship with this person that you're completely enamored with. Process it, like,
why do you want to get over it immediately when
you clearly know that you love him? You love him

(36:24):
so just And I'm glad she ended it right. It's
not like he broke up with her and all that stuff.
She ended it because she knew that she deserved more,
she knew something, she had some self.

Speaker 2 (36:33):
Worth, you know.

Speaker 6 (36:34):
But to just let a dwindle throughout, I don't know.
I'm just I don't come to me. Just don't come
to me if you're a Carrie, Okay, because I will.
I will I give you some tough love.

Speaker 3 (36:49):
But I do feel for Carrie.

Speaker 2 (36:50):
I was there before and to you know, yeah, Dana's
definitely not the friend I'll call.

Speaker 1 (36:58):
You.

Speaker 6 (36:58):
I get it.

Speaker 2 (37:01):
I would.

Speaker 3 (37:01):
I my really, my high school bestie was going through
really bad breakup and I did. I invited her over.
I listened to her. We did arts and crafts.

Speaker 2 (37:14):
So I could be there for you.

Speaker 3 (37:16):
I can, but Carrie, I don't know if i'd be
there for Carrie.

Speaker 6 (37:20):
Yeah, Like I know, I know, like I'm very self aware.
I'm not the one you come to, but I'm not
the one. Like I don't go to other people either,
Like I know, I've practiced to just do a little,
just keep thinking, and that's why I have chagpt too.
You know, that's that's the thing you guys for the
new technology.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
Yeah, I mean, yeah, I'm with that. I keep thinks
to myself more.

Speaker 6 (37:46):
It's healthy because then when you reflect and you sometimes
you overreact right in the moments, sometimes can be impulsive
and then we're like, good thing, I didn't say much
because now look at it, look at me, I'm back
with him, or look at me, I'm talking to him again.
I just want to save us from all that animosity
and my peace of.

Speaker 2 (38:04):
Mind moving forward too. Yeah, I told her too much, all.

Speaker 5 (38:08):
Right, But now it's time to get into the cringiest
moments of the episode.

Speaker 1 (38:13):
Bruh.

Speaker 5 (38:14):
So the first one is Miranda's awkward moment when she
was meeting the Yankee. It was just like so uncomfortable.
He was like, so, what you're gonna assume me if
I don't give you my number? Like he didn't make
it any easier for her. And not only that, the
three girls, all four of them, I don't know if
y'all notice the way they were looking at him, They
like they were possessed. I thought they were like vampires
from sinners, Like they all looked crazy. The way they

(38:36):
were looking at him. They let they wanted to eat
him up. So it was just awkward all around.

Speaker 2 (38:39):
Miranda was definitely awkward.

Speaker 5 (38:42):
The next one is Charlotte's boyfriend scratching his balls in public.
As someone who does care to a certain extent about
my public image, especially when I want my man's and
then to here like my friend told my other friend
about it, like that would really get me, like, y'all
over here to talk about my man scratching his balls too.
I had a radio remote one time and I bought

(39:03):
one of my hood boots and he put his hands
like in his pants, like like he was home or something,
and I had to like tell him to stop.

Speaker 2 (39:11):
I was like, oh, so embarrassing.

Speaker 6 (39:12):
See, but at least you said something.

Speaker 5 (39:14):
Yeah, of course, you know, she said anything could have
made the difference. I could have buen a man. The
next moment is Miranda running like a goddamn idiot when
she saw her former love of her life with the
woman he left.

Speaker 2 (39:26):
Her for on the streets.

Speaker 5 (39:28):
I feel like she should have just stayed behind the
pole until she regulated and could have walked away, Like
you don't have to rush to get out of there.

Speaker 2 (39:36):
They walk past. You're going actually, ain't thinking about.

Speaker 5 (39:40):
You love each other, but damn, like even to see
the man that you loved with the woman he left
you for. I've never been in that position, and damn,
I hope I probably run. We got some good ones.
The next one is carry crying mid kissed with the
yankee over big and begging the Yankee to go.

Speaker 2 (40:02):
Leave me, get out of here stream like she really
legits her trying.

Speaker 5 (40:10):
This suit guy, like she's weak, She's weak, you can't
hold in your cristil you get home sick. I agree,
I mean, I don't you just saw him, but damn.
I mean they had got her weak like she is
in love with the.

Speaker 2 (40:23):
Okay, okay, I ain't crying the Yankees' mouth. No, but okay,
let me get a Yankee. I'm gonna have to vote
for the way Miranda ran because why would you run
like that? It's like why, Yeah, there's so many other.

Speaker 5 (40:44):
Vote I'm gonna go with carry crying in the Yankees mouth.
I just feel like it was uncomfortable. You ruined it.
You begged him to leave you. He didn't want to
leave you, so then you walked off and then he
walked off. Definitely a damn, but that was all uncomfortable.

Speaker 3 (40:57):
I'm gonna vote for Carrie for that same in since
to because mostly for her little speech afterwards.

Speaker 2 (41:06):
Yeah yeah, all right, Well this is a te cringiest
moment versus craziest moment. Let us know what you think
at sex in the City of Angels, right, Okay.

Speaker 6 (41:13):
So now we're going to do sex in the social media.
So at this Kiance said watching sex in the City again,
and man Miscarry ignored a whole lot of red flags here,
and I'm only on season two, episode one.

Speaker 2 (41:27):
There's some red flags, but I don't know.

Speaker 6 (41:31):
Maybe Carrie crying.

Speaker 2 (41:32):
I mean rewatching it. I think that you know, she's
the red flag big time. Yeah, I agree.

Speaker 6 (41:38):
Well, maybe the friendship too.

Speaker 2 (41:40):
Red flags and the friendship.

Speaker 3 (41:41):
Yeah, Miranda, you hater at Andrea. I'm watching Sex in
the City for the first time ever, and why are
people sole relationship obsessed? Use your hands. It's not worth it.

Speaker 2 (41:54):
That's so true. I mean it is true, and so
let's not because companionship matters. There's nothing like companions unfortunately
at Libro, help help help.

Speaker 3 (42:04):
I'm finally in season two of Sex in the City,
and I'm rooting for carrying mister big chat? Am I doomed?
Am I so cooked?

Speaker 2 (42:13):
You might get what you want?

Speaker 6 (42:15):
You might just get it at Off, Taylor Gray says,
I'm want season two of Sex and the City, and y'all,
Miranda is so miserable and always tries to drag everyone.

Speaker 2 (42:27):
Into her misery.

Speaker 6 (42:29):
That's my girl, but she wants everyone to be unhappily single.

Speaker 2 (42:33):
Laugh my ass off. In this episode for shell duh,
she really is showing it for sure.

Speaker 5 (42:39):
She never respects other perspectives or experiences. She projects her
stuff once everyone.

Speaker 6 (42:44):
Yeah for sure. Okay, so the last one, says at Ayo.
Meme says, I just started season two of Sex and
the City and what the f was going on with
Miranda's hair?

Speaker 1 (42:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (42:58):
I think they did her dirty, the dirtiest in season two.

Speaker 5 (43:01):
She looked like the cedar checkie. Yeah, where she's being
compared to the season CHECKI but it's literally from season
two episode.

Speaker 6 (43:09):
Why do we keep blaming the writers and all of that, Like,
let's just say that is actually the style back in
the days and.

Speaker 2 (43:15):
That's who she was. You don't think she would choose
nobody has a style from back in the day. It
just didn't look on her. But if they wanted to
type past her to look a mess, then yeah, I
mean I've watched a lot of shows from that time
period and she was lacking. But let us know what
you think. Make sure you follow us at Sex in
the City of Angels, follow me at the Kayla, Austin
at Yogi Underscore.

Speaker 6 (43:36):
Elia at Dayana at Norms, and we'll see you next time.
