Speaker 1 (00:01):
This is Sex in the City of Angels podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
Welcome back to Sex in the City of angel.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
We made it to episode eight. Three's a crowd.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
I'm Kayla, I'm Aliah Kai, I'm norm Sakna.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
And Dana still on her eat pray love traveling the world,
living her best life. But she'll be back and she
will be with us soon. So we are three single
women in our thirties here today who happened to love
sex and the city. And we made it to episode
eight threes a crowd. Oh god, it was really good entertainment.
But I think I said this about the last episode.
(00:54):
I don't know, but cringe, bro, cringe for twenty five minutes,
just cringing this.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Yeah, agreed.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
After the classic intro, we see Charlotte falling in love again.
The guys jack so quick she always does. They locked
eyes at a black tie benefit for Epstein Bar and
he was perfect for her. An architect, philanthropists and amazing sex.
And that's what I mean by eligible bachelors like architects,
(01:21):
you know, years like these guys are heavyweights that they
pull and I just I really do love that.
Speaker 3 (01:27):
I really do.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
They at the age or they should be meeting these
heavyweights in a city too, where they could be meeting
them late.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
One night, Jack acts Charlotte, what are your fantasies?
Speaker 2 (01:37):
And Charlotte starts to talk about her career and her
life fantasies, and he's like, no, no, no, no no no,
I met like screwing in an airplane bathroom type fantasy.
She reveals that she always wanted to do it in
her parents' bed. Charlotte's souvanella, she never got out high school.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Can I ask you, I I don't understand that fantasy.
And let me just say, I like weird shit, right,
but I don't understand the whole fantasy of wanting to
do it in your parents'.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Bed's disrespect that's disrespectful.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
It's so disrespectful.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
I mean, I think that I had away from who
had a fantasy of doing it in someone else's bed, though,
But parents, I mean, I can't relate to parents. I
wasn't sexually active and my mom died when I was
in high school, so yeah, but just somebody I love
and cares about, I wouldn't want to have sex in
their bed.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
I just think that that's disrespectful. That's disrespectful.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
Yeah, Like, how does that turn you on?
Speaker 2 (02:28):
I don't get it, and that's definitely not a fantasy.
Jack reveals that his fantasy is Charlotte and another woman
aka a threesome.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
Come, I'm serious, Charlotte. You have no idea how sexy
you are, do you? And the idea of you touching
another woman? God, it makes me.
Speaker 3 (02:51):
Hard just thinking about it.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
I feel like he really manipulated this conversation. First of all,
tell me what your operes are only so he can
get to the point of telling her what his fantasy is.
And Charlotte seems so flattered that he thinks that she's
so sexy, and he like, at at this age, do
you still get like so flattered when a man says
that you're sexy or you're so hot, and you just
get me turned like that's yeah, that's a part of
(03:15):
the manipulation too. He's buttering her up to get her
to do what he wants them to do. However, to
answer your question, yes, I love to be told that
I'm sexy and cute. Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
It just seemed like she kind of didn't believe it.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
I felt like she was like, like, I don't know,
for me, it's it seemed childish.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
She did give childish energy.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
Well, I think that's the issue that the issues that
she doesn't believe it, but she should write she's beautiful. Absolutely,
she's beautiful. But yeah, I take the compliment.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
She's telling her friends in the next scene and they're like.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
Of course he does. Every guy does, are huge right now?
That the blow job of the nineties, what was the
blow job of the eighties? Anal sex, any sex period.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
So they're talking to her about it and like, of
course he does. Miranda's like, don't let him pressure you
into it. It's just a boy to watch you be
a lesbian for a night. And Miranda pissed me off
last episode, But yeah, I like you again, Miranda.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
You're right.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
I mean, if she wants to explore it, she wants
to explore it. It's totally up to her. I just
going back because I saw how he did it. It
was manipulative. It wasn't like a we're here, let's try this,
let's be adventurous. He was manipulated when he said it.
So that's why I'm tea Miranda. But otherwise I do agree,
if you want to do it, go for it.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
Try it out.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
Sam's like, don't knock it till you try it. Miranda's like,
I had a threesome once. I think I was drunk
and I woke up and someone else's.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
Bra Yeah, anything can happen.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
You'll can just switch from It's such a weird experience.
I love the writers, Like, what the hell was that? Okay,
Sam's like, the only way to do it is to
be a guest star, be the girl of the couple, screws,
and then you leave. She's like, it's all the great
sex without the wondering of what it did to your relationship.
And I have to agree with Sammy Joe. If I
ever were to partake in a threesome, it would likely
(04:58):
be me as a guest star. Or I'm completely secure
and married and we are out of the country and
I find the woman and I pick her out and
you guys don't exchange anything at all, and then we'll
go back to America and we'll never see her again.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
Wow, you really thought about that.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
I have that specific I have the exact same.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
But I support that. And Samantha's a very very intelligent woman.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
I don't know if I could ever really be secure
with it though it's an idea of how I would
do it if I do it, But I just can't
imagine getting the image of you and another person out
of my head, and that's gonna make me feel the
type of way.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Can the threesome be two men and me, not two
women in you?
Speaker 3 (05:36):
It can be absolutely so.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
On my own terms, the threesome would be two men.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
That Samantha said, the only way to do it is
to do it that way and then you don't have
to wonder about your relationship. Charlie's like, but you don't
have relationships, and Sam's like, which is why I have
great sex.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
Carry is like, I never had.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
A threesome, and Miranda's like, that's because you have relationships,
so maybe they don't go hand in hand. I've never
had one. No, no, no, I never had one.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
No.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
I don't know about Dana, but I've never been asked
to have one either.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
No, I'm either. Oh I was asked to have one.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Yeah, I got it.
Speaker 5 (06:10):
Go.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
I was on vacation in Mexico and me and a
girl were just really buddy buddy during the trip, and
she met a guy and they were like Kayla Kamire
and I didn't know what they wanted, and I'm like, you.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
Guys are crazy, Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
No, Like I was like a five year old, like
wait what, I'm flirty with everybody, trust me.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
I flirted probably with you norms. I went with everybody.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
But I think the girl took me like a little
bit seriously and she was like, yeah, come join us.
But I was like, nah, I'm good. And they did it,
you know, without me, and you saw no.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
No no no no, no, no no.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
We had a huge house and we had a huge house.
And I just found out the tea the next day.
But yeah, no, did I did get asked for a threesome.
I feel like a couple was feeling me out before,
but they've never they never asked directly. But there was
times where I was like, why did they want me
to spend the night, Like why do they always want
me to come over? But they never said anything directly,
So yeah, for sure, that that's what that was. It
(07:03):
was my time of the month anyway, too, so that's
another thing. But I don't think I would have done
it had it not been my time in the month,
although I was drunk the whole time.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
I just I don't really.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
You know, I don't know, not really my thing yet,
but Charlotte says.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
This is my favorite. Samantha's respond oh yeah, Charlotte's like
she hasn't had one, and no one's surprised. Samantha's like,
of course not you and a threesome you you won't
even wear a thong.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
Up.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
Charlotte's like, Jack thinks I'm really sexy, and Miranda's like,
he's buttering you up for the threesome.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
Right on, right on the nose, but out context and
without being there. Randy, you're a hater, bro, Like.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
If you if you didn't see the scene for real,
frow and I'm just telling you as my friend that
my man wants to have a three seme. Me thinks
I'm really sexy, and you're like, girl know he like.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
Like he she should have validated Charlotte because she is hot.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
She is hot.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
He's buttering you up.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
Yeah yeah, he gets you thinking that you're hot, and
then boom, you're kissing another woman while he beats off,
and Charlotte's like, oh my god, please don't say it
so graphically, but it is what it is.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
If it's you know, walks like a duck wax like
a duck. It's a duck.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
Sam still giving advice and says, just make sure the
other woman isn't the front youse, somebody random that you know,
you know, you meet at a bar, find some random
Shmandam and Charlotte's like, I don't know, i'd want somebody
I'm comfortable with a friend like Carrie. Carrie's like, oh,
I'm flattered, but you know what I want someone experienced
(08:36):
like Samantha. Samantha's like, oh, that's so nice. But you know,
there's always something really sexy about a first timer like Charlotte.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
And Miranda is.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
So offended that nobody Randa. She's upset, then nobody chose her.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
She's like, oh.
Speaker 5 (08:53):
Great, no forget about me.
Speaker 4 (08:55):
Oh god, you guys.
Speaker 5 (09:00):
It's like it's like picking teams for Dodgeball over again.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
I would have comforted her, like, girl, you know, I
bone you. You know they are like, oh right, they
definitely didn't know her ouch. But I don't know if
i'd be mad. I mean, I can't say because I
haven't been in that experience. But they are a friend group,
so I guess if they're all like choosing each other,
and then you don't get chosen. I guess I could
feel like a personal slight, but it's hypothetical, like why
you're so mad? Just the feeling of being left out
(09:27):
that never feels good, no matter what age, no matter
how secure you are. I mean, why be mad? Beyond
that moment? You know you We'll get into it.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
But she did wagth too much, way too much. You
ain't wrong, Carrie ponders.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
Was Samantha right or were threesomes the new sexual fronts here?
No question, guys are infatuated with threesomes. But when she
starts looking around, she realizes three SMEs are actually everywhere.
Three is actually the number of completion of the universe.
It is that's nice?
Speaker 3 (09:54):
Are yeah true?
Speaker 2 (09:56):
Three threes are our thing, triangles, threes, everything happens. But
she's like, I look around, I realize everything's three. He's fat,
low fat, non fat, first business Economy, Moe, Larry Curly.
Maybe we aren't meant to only be you know, two,
Maybe we're meant to be threesomes.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
Maybe it's the relationship of the future.
Speaker 2 (10:15):
In the next scene, Sam's having sex with her little
married man and he's like.
Speaker 4 (10:22):
I love that you're not my wife.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
I love that he's complimenting her skills the way you
do that with your hips.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
My wife, Ruth doesn't even get on top Ken's thirty seven.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
He's a wine importer and he's unhappily married to Ruth,
a designer of modular office furniture, which is just like
a boring career boring guys.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
I guess they're on like a little law.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
So he's like this that prayers, like this affair is
the most exciting thing that has ever happened in him.
I just feel like it's taboo, Like who wants a
friend that sleeps with married men unapologetically? Like I don't know,
I feel like Samantha's behavior is a little unacceptable in
my opinion.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
Yeah, I feel like it's important to call out your
friends certain situations.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
Yeah, I mean, I just I really feel bad for Ruth.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
You know, it's not only are you cheating on me,
but you're bad talking me and like I just damn say.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
We hate to see it, Yeah, we hate to see
it or poor Ruth. Justice for Ruth. Charlotte.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
She just had another fantastic day with Jack dancing for dyslexia,
and it starts pointing out women at the party, asking
if Charlotte thinks they're hot. A woman walks up and
asks if either one of them has a light. Charl's like,
I don't smoke, and she's like, that's a shame. Jack says,
did you not see that she was flirting with you?
Charlotte's like, nah, she was flirting with you. I just
(11:40):
wouldn't like it, you know, if I was Charlotte, who
is this woman?
Speaker 3 (11:43):
Why are you coming up? Get out of here?
Speaker 2 (11:45):
But I guess are open to the idea of a threesome,
So I guess it's acceptable that she's just being flirted
with y'alls a couple.
Speaker 3 (11:50):
I mean, was she flirting now?
Speaker 2 (11:51):
The way she said it, the looks they gave, I
think it was kind of you know, yeah, it was
a little something. Something walks up to a couple and
just starts flirting. Writer, when you're writing about threesomes, I
find it funny that they're at a Dancing for Dyslexia
event and they met at like an event for Epstein Bar.
So it's just like they're doing all these charity events. Yeah, like,
but then looking for threesomes at the same time, right,
And then I also thought.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
Charlotte's hair was so cute with her twisting. That's such
a style even from childhood. Yes, very nostalgic. I didn't
know white girls did that. Jack's like, Charlotte, you're such
a turn on.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
You had no idea. You're giving off this sexual energy
all the time. It's like your fire inside of you.
That woman be crazy not to be flirting with you.
She'd be crazy not to be into you, mastermine. Listen,
it's just hard to believe.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
At this point, he's sounding a little bit like a predator.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
Now, okay, calm down, sir, Like, all right, I don't know,
just you're doing too much.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
Charlotte opens up and says.
Speaker 4 (12:50):
I think she put her hands on my leg.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
So Charlotte's opened to the idea. I think she put
her hand on my leg.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
Yeah, you know, she wouldn't give blow jobs. But she's
really ready to happen to a three soome and the
guy I'm naking me. Seriously, all you gotta do is
tell her she's sexy. The bow Jop guy didn't tell
her she was sexy. Jack couldn't wait. Should I ask
her to join us? And Charlotte just smiles. That night
she had a dream of Jack having sex with another woman,
(13:18):
the woman from the party to be exact. She walks
in and they both reach out their arms for her
to join. She wakes up just really excited and turned
on about that dream. When I usually have dreams about
my man having sex with another woman, I wake up
ready to fight.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
But yeah, yeah, I've definitely been mad from dreams before.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
But you know, Charlotte's open to this idea, and she
just finds it really, really hot because he finds her hot.
And the next scene, Miranda's talking to her therapist about
nobody choosing her for a threesome. She's talking about a
dream she had where she's in the sandbox with Carrie,
Charlotte and Samantha and they won't even play with her.
She's like, plenty of people should want me for a threesome.
(13:59):
And the therapist are you attracted to your friends? She's like, no,
but if your friends won't go down on you, who
will a lot of people?
Speaker 3 (14:08):
Yeah, you gotta take it to the therapist.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
Like you that hurt at your friends that you don't
even want, like a breakdown over it really is triggered
that in her child, like the dodgeball.
Speaker 1 (14:19):
Get it together Miranda.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
Charlotte shares her dream with Carrie in the next scene,
and she tells her she really enjoyed it. Carrie's like, well,
that's good. Dreams are a great way to experiment, which
is true. I guess if she didn't wake up angry
and it's something that maybe she should be open to.
Speaker 3 (14:32):
Right, I agree.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
Right.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
She asked if she should do it because Jack says
she has a filure inside of her. Carrie's like, they
have a cream for them.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
Carry's so funny. But Carrie did give her some solid advice.
She's like, hey, if you want to do it, do it,
but don't do it just to make Jack happy.
Speaker 3 (14:51):
I mean, do we disagree with that?
Speaker 2 (14:53):
I do think you don't want to do things you
don't want to do to make someone happy, but it
seems like Charlotte wants to do it. And I think
that in relationships you do want to know what makes
your partner happy and then you compromise sometimes, like you
gotta do things to please your partner. I think that
that's acceptable to a certain extent. I don't know that
I agree.
Speaker 3 (15:11):
With Carrie's advice, like carry shut the fuck up.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
You can't be given exactly.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
I'm like so sounding so so righteous.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
Well, I think that you didn't make a good point,
like if you want to do it, do it, but
don't do it just to make him happy. I think
that it's becoming a little bit obsessive in their relationship,
you know what I'm saying, Like do they have anything
outside of this? It seems like that's all they talk about,
which is something like is that something you were even
thinking about or talking about before? Like what?
Speaker 1 (15:35):
Exactly? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (15:36):
And Charlotte had a response like what if it brings
us closer? And Carrie had a really great response to that.
Speaker 4 (15:42):
She said, sweet, don't you think it's weird that you're
thinking of sleeping with someone you don't know to get
closer to Jack? But how well do we ever know
the people we speak with?
Speaker 3 (15:51):
And Carrie just thought that was so great and so deep.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
She thought, like she compared Charlotte to the Dalai Lama,
like that was amazing. But I don't even agree with
that you should know the person you're sleeping with. I
feel like they're promoting just having casual sex without knowing somebody, which, again,
in the nineties, women needed to be liberated in that way,
so I get if we're taking it back to that
time period why that was just so groundbreaking and why
(16:15):
we needed that as women, and now we just kind
of find gotta find a happy medium because I mean,
you can't sleeve with people you don't know, that's all
your prerogative for sure, but you know you're letting them
into your bloodstream. You could have children, Like sex, is
it something to be taken lightly?
Speaker 3 (16:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:29):
But on the other hand, Carrie's advice, Okay, fine, like
you know it makes sense, but I'm like, girl, you
you do crazier shit than that.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
Shut up, you give yourself some advice. Charlotte got a man, Okay,
always always husband, but uh, Carrie's like, if Charlote's thinking
about three simes, then everybody must be thinking about threesomes.
She opens up the newspapers and she sees all the
ads for threesomes. She's like, who actually writes and answers
(16:59):
these ads?
Speaker 5 (17:00):
Ads?
Speaker 3 (17:00):
We're like, we go to the streets.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
Fall Street, Honcho seeks too horny gal pals Bertestampton FESTI
my summer home, No fantis please.
Speaker 5 (17:09):
Sweet suburban school teacher seeks two men to the film
The Wildest Fantasy. Do the black or hispanic p the
on time, I Hate Your dick Now.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
X Files fanatic twosome seeks skilly lookalike for abduction fantasy.
Speaker 3 (17:27):
Me gorgeous with big boobs. You a couple with class.
Speaker 4 (17:31):
Let's experience everything the city has to offer.
Speaker 2 (17:34):
I'm into museums, float jobs, theater and golden shallows.
Speaker 3 (17:40):
Freaks out there? Okay, thanks God nice. Well that's the thing.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
They were out during the day and they look so normal,
and I think that's what they were trying to normalize.
Speaker 3 (17:47):
Like these people, they look normal. Do you not see
the woman who said you be black and horsemanic and I'll.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
Be an old lady from like a horror movie?
Speaker 3 (17:57):
Do she look like your normal Karen that you could
see at the now.
Speaker 1 (18:02):
Fanatics? You know they're interesting folks.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
Even though these like descriptions were cringe, I'm like, how
would I post like describe myself in these ads?
Speaker 3 (18:14):
If you were looking for a three esome you be
two guys? Like what did you say earlier? I'm not
even that clever with like the writing. I can't even think.
Speaker 1 (18:23):
I'm like, I kind of I kind of thought about something.
I'm like tall and thick, hacking your red head looking
for whatever they did.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
Yeah, I would have to meet somebody organically, and what
to do?
Speaker 3 (18:38):
I know, I know, I know.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
Oh god, I'm like single bachelorette looking for a business
class flight to the Middle East.
Speaker 1 (18:46):
That okay, let me work on mine.
Speaker 3 (18:49):
Okay, okay.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
Carrie thinks that she's the only person in New York
who still believes in a one on run relationship and mister.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
Bigger and her having an actual sleepover.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
He's asking her what tie he should wear, and she
chooses one.
Speaker 3 (19:03):
You better be careful.
Speaker 4 (19:05):
I could get used to this.
Speaker 3 (19:08):
I love it. I did. I'm sorry. I know he sucks.
He sucked last episode, but that is just adorable.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
And she's like, there's this feeling when you put a
man on a tie that's even sexier than taking something
off of him. And I think he felt it too,
because he's like, what are you doing from lunch to that?
I could swing by between meetings, maybe for like an
hour or so.
Speaker 3 (19:27):
Yeah, I think so.
Speaker 2 (19:27):
I think that's a good like I don't know if
the word is love language or like just a way
to be intimate without being intimate, but it made me
wish I knew how to tie a tie.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
Same girl.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
And I did learn like a couple of times, like
I had to wear one when I was a waitress, Like,
and I had to wear a tie, So I did
learn how to tie it, but you know, completely forgot.
Speaker 3 (19:44):
Yeah, not something I remember.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
The flirting was cute, for sure, it really was.
Speaker 2 (19:49):
But she's like, I can't I got to interview somebody
and he's interested in her life.
Speaker 3 (19:53):
He's like, well, you got to interview somebody about and she's.
Speaker 4 (19:55):
Like, threesomes ever done one?
Speaker 1 (19:59):
Sure?
Speaker 4 (20:01):
Really?
Speaker 5 (20:03):
They too?
Speaker 4 (20:05):
My ex one.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
At that moment, she tied the tie a little bit
too tight and chokes mistern. That was funny, buck. It's like,
don't ask questions that you can't handle the answer to.
She really bothers me.
Speaker 1 (20:17):
Bro.
Speaker 2 (20:17):
He was just kissing shorty on the lipside of party
last night, Like, what you mean, has you ever had
a three selast night?
Speaker 3 (20:25):
She'd be playing herself. She asks, Oh, you've been married.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
He's like, yeah, I thought I told you, and he
gets all nervous and walks away cause he's no, damn well,
he ain't.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
Ever tell her that he was married.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
And the next thcene she's telling her friends about the
wild sex big hat with his ex wife and they
don't have wild sex. They have sweet sex, and wild
sex always beats sweet sex. And Miranda's like, but he's
not with her anymore. Carrie assumes it's probably because they
stopped having wild sex, like, oh my just tells herself
all these stories. That drives her crazier than she needs
(20:56):
to be over a situation.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
She needs to calm now.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
And my friend's like, Samantha, how can you She's like, well, yeah,
you stop having wild sex.
Speaker 3 (21:05):
Get bored.
Speaker 2 (21:06):
That's why Ken's fucking me. His wife won't even give
him a blowjob. Oh justice for Ruth. I feel so
bad for her. They're sitting here, Oh lord, yeah.
Speaker 3 (21:16):
She's telling her friends what they talk about in the bedroom.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
Now your friends, No, I won't be giving my man
blowjobs and I won't.
Speaker 3 (21:21):
Get on top.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
Oh lord, justice Ruth. But Carrie's like, what is that
supposed to make me feel better? Miranda's like, listen, Sam,
Ken's not going to leave his wife for you.
Speaker 3 (21:30):
They never do. And Sam's like, thank god, that's what
makes it trouble.
Speaker 2 (21:35):
So Sam doesn't want him, but Miranda still wants her
friends because they're trying on lipsticks and Miranda looks at
them like.
Speaker 4 (21:40):
Does this color turn you on? It's a little bit orange.
Speaker 3 (21:47):
Not yelling their friend at all, let's be fair. I
guess they don't know that she's going to therapy over
this situation.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
Sam and Miranda advise Carrie, like, you know what you
gotta do, bro, just check out the And again, this
is before social media, this is before the internet. So
I guess if you're checking out the action, you gotta
be badshit crazy.
Speaker 3 (22:07):
I can't believe they advised her to do this.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
Yeah, I think that's really crazy from all of them.
Encouraging your friend to go meet with the ex wife. No,
why for what?
Speaker 2 (22:19):
I mean, like kind of to kaylet's point in a
social media world, Yeah, you might look up the X.
You're gonna scan their page. You're gonna see what you're
gonna do that. I don't know if anyone would not
admit to doing.
Speaker 3 (22:29):
That or I don't, but we do. I mean I do.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
Yeah, I mean was too, But I'm not gonna encourage
my friend to go meet with her. Yeah, Like she's
already going crazy because she found out that he has
an ex wife. Why would she meet her? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (22:44):
And Carrie's like Charlotte was right, how well do you
know the people that were sleeping with She knows that
she didn't even know Big Head. Well, now she knows,
but she didn't know big was married. Now she knows
he has an ex wife named Barbara who works in publishing.
So Carrie has the great idea to pitch her a
book that she knew Barbara will reject, but at least
she would just get five minutes face to face with her.
Speaker 3 (23:06):
This is psychotic behavior. This is committable behavior.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
I think.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
So you could have went on the company's website looked
up the staff, so I'll picture the girl. But you
gotta like full blown schedule a meeting.
Speaker 3 (23:16):
That's just wow.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
This is this is like restraining order, Yeah, exactly. And
then she gets to the office. There's a frumpy looking
woman who comes out and grabs Carrie and she like
really lights up in the face because she thinks that's Barbara,
I guess. But the woman's like, I'm gonna take you
to Barbara. Barbara's hot, Barbara's real hot, and she's kind
of the opposite of Carrie. Brunette, straight hair, confident, saying,
(23:40):
you know, but Barbara's actually a huge fan of Carrie's work,
and Carrie's like, oh man, she has good taste and
she's beautiful. Could it get any worse. She also sees
that she's the chairman of the Special Olympics, so Barbara's
that good. And Barbara's like, okay, so what's your pitch.
I didn't think that you'd be interested in your ldren's books.
(24:00):
So I guess with all the stalking that Carrie did,
she didn't realize that she's a publisher for children's books.
So Carrie had to pull a pitch right out of
her ass, and she couldn't do the one that she prepared.
So that's when she comes up with the grand idea
of a picture book about a little girl named Kathy
who has magic cigarettes. Whenever Kathy lights up, she goes
(24:21):
anywhere in the world, like, oh what shout out to
New Jersey's like, she can go to New Jersey, Aruba.
Like this girl is definitely pulling it out of her ass.
And Barbera's just as crazy because she's like, oh my god,
this is amazing. I was dying to do something with
the edge and this could be great. Carrie's like, oh man,
this is even worse. She's smart, beautiful, and she gets me, Damn,
(24:45):
she's gonna have to kill her.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
She's gonna have to kill her.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
And the next scene, Sam runs into Ken and his
wife and then Ruth.
Speaker 3 (24:53):
Justice for Ruth.
Speaker 2 (24:54):
She sees the two, She's like, oh, do you guys
know each other? And Samantha's like yeah, sure, Can's like
not not really and then speeds off and Samantha's like, oh, fuck,
I just messed up.
Speaker 3 (25:05):
I just messed up. So she knew that she got
kind of caught up because.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
Ruth is looking back and Samantha's looking back, and it's just.
Speaker 3 (25:12):
They Ruth built that energy.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
A woman knows.
Speaker 3 (25:17):
Justice Ruth.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
Miranda, she's talking to her therapist still, and this time
she had a dream that they all got into a
cab together and they didn't let her sit in the
back with them. She hadn't sit in the front with
the cab driver.
Speaker 1 (25:33):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (25:34):
The therapist like, it seems like you're still mad about
being sexually rejected by your friends.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
Miranda says, would you do a threesome with me?
Speaker 4 (25:44):
I think we need to talk about While you're asking me.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
That even the therapist is rejecting her, it's rough, rough
go around for Miranda. She's like really seeking validation hard,
like for something that you don't even really want.
Speaker 1 (25:57):
She's like, is that a no.
Speaker 3 (26:00):
In the next scene, Carrie's in bed.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
She's in bed with mister Big and she's having visions
about Barbara. She's nibbling on mister Big and he's liking it,
and then vision Barber's like nibbling his ear.
Speaker 1 (26:14):
Loves how sweet? Let me show you how it's.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
Really dombe Carrie. She gets upset, she gets in her head.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
She pulls away from mister Big, and BIG's like, what's
going on here?
Speaker 3 (26:24):
She blames on the column.
Speaker 2 (26:26):
Yeah, she's just really getting in her head about this
man's relationship prior to her, and it's.
Speaker 3 (26:32):
Just way too much energy.
Speaker 2 (26:33):
She needs to move on, and she put herself in
this position by meeting with the girl like with good
do you think was gonna come of that?
Speaker 1 (26:38):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (26:39):
True? And she's like, you know, I guess they're comparing
us at threesome.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
She's like, even when you're in a one on one
relationship like her in Big r this episode, She's like,
even though it's just us two in the bed, somebody's
always been there before you, Which it does that matter? Carrie,
you're there now. Stop the girl's always going to be
the case when you're in a relationship, so you it's
best to work on yourself so you're not thinking about that.
And yeah, appreciating the present and where he is right now.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
I feel like it just speaks to her her psychotic
ways of thinking.
Speaker 5 (27:09):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
But she did ask Big after she lied about and
said it was her column. Big picked up on that,
and he tried to comfort her.
Speaker 3 (27:17):
He's like, I tell you.
Speaker 4 (27:18):
I was married because it was a long time ago.
Speaker 5 (27:21):
Welcome alienation of affection followed by divorce, and.
Speaker 3 (27:27):
I do want to acknowledge that.
Speaker 2 (27:28):
He was, like, I thought I told you before, But
now he's like, I didn't tell you because I knew
it was so long Like lie.
Speaker 3 (27:34):
Yeah, he's caught in a lie.
Speaker 2 (27:36):
He doesn't tell her the full truth, and I wonder
there's really no excuse for it. But you gotta know
at this point that she's crazy.
Speaker 3 (27:43):
Carrie.
Speaker 2 (27:44):
Okay, yeah, I mean she showed it. She showed it
way too many times for him not to know.
Speaker 5 (27:48):
Uh huh.
Speaker 2 (27:49):
But the next day, Carrie goes out to lunch with Barbara,
and did you notice that she had straight hair?
Speaker 3 (27:55):
Yeah, I sure. Did you know she's trying to look
like Barbara A little.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
Crazy, a lot of crazy.
Speaker 3 (28:00):
Actually, she had a lot.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
Of guilty of that. I did that back in college.
I stalked my current boyfriend's ex girlfriend and I saw
that she had on like that T shirt with the
collar under that look that look.
Speaker 3 (28:11):
So I but how old were you that look?
Speaker 1 (28:15):
Okay, carry thirty two, thirty three?
Speaker 2 (28:17):
Yeah, because I did that back in the day too,
Like my boyfriend's always wore really nice weaves.
Speaker 3 (28:22):
Going back, they weren't so nice, but I got a
weave then I put me pants is But okay, younger,
I'll be damned. I'll be damned. I'll be damned. So
she goes to leg with Barbara.
Speaker 2 (28:37):
She has a shape, straight hair, and unfortunately the higher
ups didn't like the smoking kid, so they shot the
book down. And Barbara's like, listen, the publishers didn't like it.
I did, but hey, you know, I can't get your
book published, but I would love to be your friend.
Carrie's like friends. So they two hours for short days.
(29:01):
Carrie was sleeping with the enemy.
Speaker 5 (29:03):
So never been married once a long time ago, Kelly,
what happened? He had a wondering eye wandered right over
to my best friend.
Speaker 3 (29:13):
God damn, wow, that does bad. That is really man
big ship.
Speaker 1 (29:19):
That doesn't sound like alienation, affection a lot or a cheater.
He's shitty.
Speaker 2 (29:25):
Yeah, and yeah, Norms, he definitely lied about why they
got divorced, because.
Speaker 3 (29:29):
There's one thing to cheat. Are you the best friend
for sure?
Speaker 1 (29:32):
Okay? Are y all still liking Big then?
Speaker 2 (29:36):
I mean, I will admit I have hated it Big,
and historically I've hated it Big, like I was pissed,
you know, in the future episodes to come. But at
this age, I just feel like I blame Carrie for
dealing with him.
Speaker 1 (29:48):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (29:50):
As Norms, yeah, at this point, he's not to be trusted.
He is not He's not a safe space. He is
just a good time mm hmmm.
Speaker 1 (29:59):
It's simple blimplain ye take it for what it is, right, yeah,
m hm.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
And I guess that also hurt Carry's feelings because Barbera's like,
what about you?
Speaker 3 (30:08):
Are you seeing anybody? Carrie's like no one special, crazy
like nuts behavior.
Speaker 1 (30:18):
That's I'm saying they're men for each other. They're both
shitty people.
Speaker 2 (30:22):
Just yeah, yeah they are and just like I don't
even know what's the fatal attraction. Like I would just
be so like how calculate people can be to come
and pitch a book to me, to go to lunch
with me, to talk to talk to me about.
Speaker 3 (30:33):
My ex husband, Like that's just crazy. That's like fighting.
When I find out, we'll believe like it's going down. Yeah,
And that's definitely like say the hell away from you.
Speaker 2 (30:41):
You're nuts, You're big nuts. But in the next scene, Ken,
he's calling Samantha. He's like, I left my wife.
Speaker 3 (30:47):
I love you. I told her about us, and Samantha's
like wait, what huh you what you did?
Speaker 1 (30:52):
Who's who is this?
Speaker 3 (30:56):
He's like it's Ken. She's like hold on, I gotta
call on my other line and it's Ruth. Ruth is
like I don't know you, but I can learn a
thing or two from you.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
I know you're sleeping with my husband and I'm willing
to join you too in the bed. Samantha's like what, no, now,
what the hell? And then she ends up just hanging
up on both of them. She's like listen. Carrie says
she's a guest star, season regular, series regular.
Speaker 3 (31:21):
Not in her contract. Her play on words. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:25):
I do love the play on words, and I love
that Samantha's consistent, you know, she she You can judge
her for all you want for sleeping with married men,
and we do, but she ain't. She ain't playing like
this is what I want, this is all I want.
It's not like a girl trying to convince herself for
trying to convince her her friends that she's the cool girl,
the care the care free girl.
Speaker 3 (31:45):
She genuinely is that.
Speaker 2 (31:47):
Yeah, Whereas in the first two episodes, I did feel
like she was trying to convince herself and putting up
some front, but it sounds like, yeah, that she's now
confidantly stepped into.
Speaker 3 (31:55):
Who she is.
Speaker 2 (31:56):
Fake it till you make it. She faked it in
the first couple episodes, and now she may it. She's there,
but I made it.
Speaker 1 (32:02):
Yeah. Yeah, But I feel really bad for Ruth. She's
so broken. You know.
Speaker 2 (32:08):
That's awesomes to call his side piece and convince her
that we're very happy and we're always going to stick
it out.
Speaker 3 (32:15):
Like why your man's on another line telling you her
she loves you. Justice for Rooke. I hate it so much, Charlotte,
she's on another date.
Speaker 2 (32:25):
With Jack, and she seems really interested in fulfilling his fantasy,
and Jack still just that is obsessed with the idea.
Speaker 3 (32:31):
He's looking around the party and he's like.
Speaker 4 (32:34):
Who's here?
Speaker 2 (32:35):
Is your title? Charlotte picks the blonde dressed as a peacock.
They all have masks one at this party, by the way,
it's a masquerade. Charlotte winks at the blonde, very awkwardly
and un sexy, by the way, but Jack thinks she's hot,
and the blonde actually winked back. Charlotte and Jack begin
to fool around at the party. They go upstairs and
(32:58):
Charlotte is like, another fantasy of is to have sex
at abarty, So they start doing just that. They start
getting hot and heavy, when that blonde that she just
went d at walks right in and she's like, can
I join you? And they start having the threesome more
or less before it was.
Speaker 4 (33:13):
Jack who plunged first. Apparently someone else's fire was a
little stronger than Charlotte's. She was not the guest star
in this fantasy.
Speaker 2 (33:20):
The blonde and Jack just kind of start having sex
and bump Charlotte right off the bed, which I find weird,
Like do you want a threesome or not? Jack, Like,
what do you want? Do you want me to watch
you kiss somebody else? I found it a little weird
that he didn't involve Charlotte, Like what was that about?
Didn't even notice when she left the room, like we
want to see other women, just leave with other women.
I guess that the other woman had a hotter fire.
(33:41):
You forgot Charlie was even there, said.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
It's probably just his mo like this is his way.
He proposes a threesome so he can sleep with other woman.
That's it.
Speaker 3 (33:52):
Yeah, yeah, I guess so. And it was manipulation.
Speaker 2 (33:56):
From twenty seconds into this episode, it was like, okay,
all right, we see right through you guy got the
nerve to have Charlotte pick the girl. Okay, that's your
idea to want them to bump her off the bed.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
I have to walk out with my head low.
Speaker 1 (34:14):
You're rightily, I hadn't. I hadn't even thought about that.
Speaker 2 (34:17):
Meanwhile, just I hope you can hear me shaking my
head through this microphone.
Speaker 3 (34:22):
We're going back to Miranda.
Speaker 2 (34:28):
Miranda answers one of those ads that Charlotte, I mean
that Carrie was reading earlier. I don't know if it
was the exact AD, but I guess that's where she
found this couple. She met them downtown, she answered AD,
and it's a couple that's open to a threesome. The
couple gets really excited that she walks in. They're like,
oh my god, what a relief.
Speaker 1 (34:45):
You're normal.
Speaker 3 (34:46):
You're actually, you know, not bad looking.
Speaker 2 (34:48):
You won't believe the other people that we've got.
Speaker 4 (34:53):
Thanks, Sorry, are you doing anything tonight? Let me just
be clear here want to do.
Speaker 2 (35:02):
So they agree that they want to have the threesome
with with Miranda, and I just want to also say
that they compared the other women like they said that
they were like but ugly. They weren't like, oh my god,
you're so stunning. We're so happy, like like you're just
not but ugly. And that was enough for Miranda. She's like, okay,
let me just make a quick phone call.
Speaker 1 (35:21):
Girl. She even busted out the push a bra, the
statement necklace.
Speaker 2 (35:25):
Yeah, put on her best self just to be told
she's not bud usy and you and yes, we wouldn't
have a threesome with you. That's all she needed to
hear somebody say yes.
Speaker 1 (35:38):
Also, the guy is supposed to be thirty Okay I was.
Speaker 2 (35:43):
I was like, wow different, Yeah, they are different. Ken
from Ken and Ruth's relationship, he was only thirty seven.
Speaker 1 (35:49):
Yeah, oh my god, and Ruth looked oh much older.
Speaker 2 (35:59):
Miranda, she wasn't even interested in this threesome since like
literally says she had to make a phone call and
snuck out.
Speaker 1 (36:08):
Why, Like, you go through all of this and then
you should sleep them hanging.
Speaker 3 (36:11):
And that's what Carrie said.
Speaker 2 (36:12):
He got the validation that she needed all that for Yes,
I want to have a I would pick Miranda for
a three.
Speaker 3 (36:18):
She's a pick me. That's like I got girl day.
They would say she's a pick me.
Speaker 2 (36:22):
And she did this last episode of Skipper, like you
you're on his relationship just so you get validation that
you can still get him back. And you did the
same thing kind of with this couple. Yeah you now
they're like, oh my god, her we but the they're
talking to their therapist, right, the therapist if.
Speaker 3 (36:38):
They if they have a threesome with them.
Speaker 2 (36:40):
People are so weird with their ulterior motives. I can't
with the fakeness, Like you come out to full blown
dinner with us into our ad just to sneak out,
like you could have just said, yeah, you know, I
am busy tonight. You gotta right you have making a
phone call. They probably waiting for you for like forty
five minutes, laming each other.
Speaker 1 (36:58):
It was you.
Speaker 2 (36:59):
It was you, Like, now, you caused the whole fight
with this couple, freaking Miranda's they're.
Speaker 1 (37:03):
A little crazy.
Speaker 3 (37:04):
Huh Okay, they're nuts. Our girls are crazy, but we
love them.
Speaker 5 (37:11):
So.
Speaker 2 (37:12):
In the next scene, Carrie is saying how she didn't
see Big for eight days, but they go out to
dinner and he was like the food was good, and
she's like, yeah it was. He's like, actually the food
was horrible. And we're talking to each other like strangers.
Speaker 3 (37:24):
What's going on here?
Speaker 4 (37:26):
Look, tell me you have an ex wife.
Speaker 5 (37:28):
You tell me you guys had a three way Yes,
I asked, but you dropped this big bomb and you
don't even give me any details.
Speaker 4 (37:35):
You don't even tell me why you broke up.
Speaker 3 (37:38):
I cheated on.
Speaker 4 (37:39):
Yeah, I know she told me at lunch.
Speaker 5 (37:41):
I know.
Speaker 3 (37:41):
You know she told you two steps of head ahead.
Speaker 2 (37:46):
And the only reason you'd being honest now is because
you know I know the truth. I wonder when the
wife knew first of all, she probably knew from the pitch.
And I also want to know how often you'all talk? Yeah,
I mean that's the bottom line.
Speaker 1 (38:00):
Yeah, i'd be a little upset about that. But why
are you getting mad about him not sharing information that
technically he doesn't really have to share? Agreed, because it's
past relationships, right, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (38:12):
Well you don't have got a marriage. I think that
that's different. I don't want to know if my partner
was married before, but you don't need to know how
they cheated who With his answer earlier, the alienation and
lack of affection could have led to the cheating, you know,
so maybe it wasn't quite a lie doctor when he
always says cheating isn't the problem, it's the symptom of
a problem. Yeah, And I feel like it's only going
to open up a can of worms in their relationship.
(38:32):
It's just going to further make her insecure, which it does.
Speaker 1 (38:36):
So And he probably didn't share this because he sees Carrie.
He knows Carrie is crazy. You know, why would I
share this with you? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (38:43):
Bad shit man? That ship?
Speaker 2 (38:45):
And why why is he not mad that she contacted
his ex wife and went to lunch and pitched a book, like,
how much do you know, sir?
Speaker 3 (38:51):
I'm a little embarrassed. She must be really good in
the bed.
Speaker 1 (38:56):
He was probably like, I'm gonna let you make a
fool out of yourself. Yeah, you knew you.
Speaker 2 (39:03):
And she's like, that's another thing you didn't tell me.
You still talk to her? Mister Big never answered anything.
It was like I talked to all my ex wives.
Ha ha ha, here's old buddy. But she's like, I
do not find that funny. He explains why he had
a threesome and he's like, well, we had the threesome
because we're both we both must have been looking for
something or someone else. And then he with all his game,
he's like me, Carrie smiled, but she said they were
(39:27):
looking for someone or something else. Carrie got really happy
in the face then and then he's like, do you
kniss it for me? And then Carrie goes in for
a passionate kiss. Because that's all mister Big had to say.
I ain't even a direct ask a question. Putting back on, okay,
(39:48):
Carrie is.
Speaker 1 (39:49):
Like playing her really well?
Speaker 2 (39:50):
Yeah, players her really well, because Carrie says, and then
it was.
Speaker 4 (39:54):
Just the two of us, and I realized the real
appeal of the threesome. It was easy. It's intimacy, that's
the bitch.
Speaker 1 (40:03):
Girl fighting is not intimacy. I'm just saying, yeah, that's true.
Speaker 3 (40:09):
I'm just confused. I'm confused by the whole thing. I
don't I don't know what's going on here. I'm confused too.
I did like the quote, Yeah, I agree Carrie. Quote
Carry quote, Carry gonna come through with quote.
Speaker 2 (40:18):
But that's how the episode ends, with another romantic interaction
with Carry and mister Big after she didn't get her questions,
againswer none of them. Every lie to you? I want
to be more mad about, Like why'd you lie? I mean,
it's just did you still talk to you?
Speaker 1 (40:31):
X y?
Speaker 3 (40:31):
She he over her updates you on me? What else?
Speaker 1 (40:33):
She said?
Speaker 3 (40:34):
Right right? How did I even come up?
Speaker 2 (40:36):
Like, oh, I had lunch with Carrie Brad y'all like
y'all check in over you so often about her lunches.
Speaker 3 (40:40):
Been knew he was dating about her pictures?
Speaker 1 (40:42):
Yeah, okay, so wait, so Barbara did know Carrie was
dating Bag from the beginning.
Speaker 3 (40:48):
Then we don't know that.
Speaker 1 (40:50):
I want to know.
Speaker 2 (40:50):
I want to believe that, Yes, Carrie thinks she's playing
Barbara and inviting her to you know, coming to picture book,
going out to lunch, not into who she's dating, picking
my brain for all the information when bitch, I already
know exactly who you are. Well, she is chairman of
the Special Olympics, so she has something's going on for her.
Speaker 3 (41:09):
Like she has a good head on her shoulders.
Speaker 2 (41:11):
So she's not no fuddy exactly exactly picking up what
I'm putting indeen.
Speaker 3 (41:16):
And that's how the episode ends.
Speaker 2 (41:18):
Good stuff, all right, let's get into the cringiest moments
of the episode.
Speaker 3 (41:21):
We have three ruh.
Speaker 2 (41:26):
So the first one is Carrie going to BIG's ex
wife to lunch and going as far as to pitch
a fake book deal to her. Just all levels of desperado.
Like I know it's pre social media, but you could
have found another way to just see what she looked
like and find out a little bit more about her.
You didn't have to do the most. It's like the
next one Miranda's desperate need for validation after her friends
(41:46):
didn't pick her for a threesome. She even had to
ask her therapist if he would have the three somewhitter.
She had to answer her ad just to get somebody
to say, yes, we picked you, we will have a
thres with you, so she can leave and feel satisfied
and walk home and finally stop having these dreams.
Speaker 3 (42:00):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (42:01):
The last one is Ken's wife Ruth calling Samantha and
offering to join them in the bedroom as a result
of him cheating on her, Like, your problems are so
much more deeper than you joining them in the bedroom,
just like I don't know, walk away.
Speaker 3 (42:14):
Get on top, give a blowjob, walk away.
Speaker 2 (42:17):
He is beyond justice for Juke.
Speaker 3 (42:21):
Justice for Ruth.
Speaker 2 (42:23):
And she knew the half a little chem was saying
to that other about her, she would not well. But no, honestly,
I'm gonna have to give it to Miranda, just because
it went throughout the whole episode. Yes, and your therapist
even rejected you. Her friends gave her no validation. She
only got validation from an AD And that's just hopeless.
Speaker 3 (42:45):
That's hopeless desperation. I just can't agreed, Miranda.
Speaker 2 (42:49):
Yeah, all right, Wow, that's the cringiest moment of the episode.
Speaker 5 (42:54):
Bruh.
Speaker 1 (42:57):
Let's get into sex and the social media at ak Marie,
are you watching season one of Sex and the City
and Big honestly tried his best with Carrie's crazy ass.
Oh my god, Yes, yeah he did.
Speaker 3 (43:11):
He tried his best.
Speaker 2 (43:12):
I mean he's continuing to entertain her despise the red
flags that she is as well as whom as a
fire cracker in the sack she really must be, she must.
Speaker 1 (43:21):
Have that they're both walking bread flags. Okay, yeah, I agree,
that's it. At Aubrey Mariah fourteen, feel like I'm being
sworn into womanhood because I am starting Sex in the
City from season one, episode one for the first time.
Speaker 2 (43:39):
I do think like if a woman has not watched
Sex and the City, it's kind of like, where have
you been?
Speaker 5 (43:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (43:46):
What's going on?
Speaker 5 (43:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (43:47):
Where are you from?
Speaker 3 (43:48):
Where you watching with this podcast?
Speaker 1 (43:50):
Tell your friend at Cody Dominic, Binch watching Sex and
the City again as a grown woman is sickening. When
I was younger, I thought Carrie was just a regular dummy.
Then you grow up and realize Carrie was top tier
stupid all the way up until the last day he'd
(44:12):
trying to avoid hanging out with Carrie. Oh my god,
Cody Dominic, so true. I agree with you at Sweet
City Angel, I will never understand that Carrie Bradshaw hate
comments about her personality and in perfections, because the very
point of Sex in the City is that this curly haired, crazy,
(44:32):
chaotic woman in New York City has problems and flaws
and it's not a simple perfection because no one is, yes,
but like there's a limit and she surpasses it.
Speaker 2 (44:45):
I agree, though, I think that she's doing things that
real women probably do every day in their thirties, probably
in their forties and their fifties, and it might be
a reflection of how much one needs to heal. But
I do think she's speaking to, you know, the real
stuff that people go through. Miranda near her validation.
Speaker 3 (45:01):
That's true, that's all. That's all very true.
Speaker 2 (45:03):
I think these girls are so real, so relatable, which
is something that we don't necessarily get with social media
and everything.
Speaker 3 (45:09):
Everybody's playing a role like they all got it together.
Speaker 2 (45:12):
I can't really say I relate to these women one
hundred percent, but the feeling and the actions I do understand.
Speaker 3 (45:18):
I do understand.
Speaker 2 (45:19):
I wouldn't go as far as they go, but I
can't say I haven't thought about it.
Speaker 3 (45:23):
And it's also a TV show, so they're going to
give us what we need. Via the dramatics of it all.
Speaker 1 (45:27):
M She's yeah, I mean I give Carrie props, but again,
learn from her, don't make her same mistakes.
Speaker 3 (45:35):
There you go, So the people watching it today learn
from M.
Speaker 2 (45:38):
And that was episode eighty.
Speaker 3 (45:42):
We're definitely going to see you for episode nine.
Speaker 2 (45:44):
