Yeah, Hey, y'all, Welcome, Welcome, Welcome to a new episode

(03:58):
of the Hardy Wrestling Pipe As with the Girl Stephanie Hardy.
For those who may or may not know, because I'm
from Birmingham, I have to say happy Magic City Classic Weekend.
It's a big weekend in Birmingham as we are celebrating
the tradition of the Magic City Classic, celebrating this game

(04:20):
between Alabama State and Alabama A and M Universities. It's
the biggest HBCU Classic in the country. Alabama is the
state with the most HBCUs in the United States. And
it has been a party all week long. And your
girl has been working, but she has also been enjoying
some of the things. And the one thing that I

(04:41):
love and will never apologize for is the beauty of
blackness in my city, and the beauty of blackness in
myself and in wrestling and in all the things. So
happy Magic City Classic weekend to those who celebrate. But
of course, if this is your first time watching the
Hardy Wrestling Podcast, welcome, and I hope you stay on
this journey with me. And if this isn't your first

(05:02):
time watching or listening, thank you for all of your
love and all of your support. Of course, I'm your girl.
Stephanie Hardy, host, a creator of this fabulous platform, HWP
Extra and co host of stephan Kat Talk Wow, the
Best Wow Post show ever, and contributing writer for fan
sidist Daily DDT and color commentator that's been featured on

(05:23):
various promotions such as Battle Club Pro, the Belladonna Division
and Black Girl Magic twenty twenty two and Spartan Wrestling.
And I'm so happy to be before you on this
Friday night to talk about everything that's happening in professional wrestling.
I want to be more consistent as we continue to
finish this year out, and I'm just so happy to

(05:46):
be here to talk about so many amazing things that
are happening in the world of professional wrestling. So without
further ado, we're gonna get into news and gossip ish.
We're talking about all of the current events inside of
professional wrestling that have been reported on and discussed amongst
the wrestling fandom. And we're gonna start with something that

(06:10):
was unpopular but is gaining a little bit of popularity,
and that is the announcement that Money at the Bank
is going to be in New Orleans. Now, of course,
this made people feel some type of way when it
came to the announcement of WrestleMania initially being New Orleans.

(06:35):
Because the Rock came and made the announcement of WrestleMania
being in New Orleans, only for them to scrap those
plans and have WrestleMania in Vegas again due to WW
President Nick con sort of jocking for it to be
in Las Vegas again and seeing as he's from there,
and just seeing all the prosperity that it brought to

(06:56):
the city and all the above. I was there that
weekend was amazing, but it made a lot of fans
feel slighted in the sense that they were looking forward
to it being closer to them when it comes to
the accessibility of WrestleMania being in New Orleans. But WW
sought to make it a little bit better by announcing
that Money in the Bank will instead be in New

(07:19):
Orleans next year. Now, at first it was an announced
it was going to be in early August, but then
it was pushed back to next September. Now this blew
my mind because, first of all, a pay per view
happening the weekend of my birthday is always something that
I'm gonna love, simply because of the fact that anytime

(07:41):
I feel like something that I love about my birthday
as much as I like the more I get older,
is the fact that my birthday gets to be surrounded
by the things that I love more than anything in
this world. And the fact that wrestling gets to have
a greater presence in this way, in my neck of
the woods in the South, with one of my favorite
pay per views that has a special place in my

(08:02):
heart next year does make me feel really warm inside.
Money in the bank on my birthday weekend on a
Sunday sounds amazing. Then on top of that, my cousin
shout out to Saysha in Georgia. She's I don't know
if she's gonna be watching this later, but she messaged
me the other day and was just like, Stephanie, is

(08:23):
this real? And I was just like, Yeah, it is real.
This is really happening. And she wants to go because
since she's been supporting me and also watching a little
bit of wrestling on her own, she's gotten kind of
into it. So we're thinking about making it into like
a cousin bonding type of trip. And I'm really happy
about it because a birthday in the Bayou or a
birthday on Bourbon Street would be absolutely amazing. Plus I

(08:47):
haven't been in New Orleans in like years, literal years.
Last time I went, I was basically a kid, so
I cannot wait for this. I know there were a
lot of wrestling fans who felt a little bit weird
about it, considering it was kind of like a sort
of like a exchange for pay per views and stuff.

(09:07):
But at the same time, I think for me, I
just want to be happy because it's the weekend of
my birthday, so I'm just really pumped about it. And
start saving your coins if you want to go, because
Money in the Bank is getting to be one of
those pay per views that can change the trajectory, of course,
in the blink of an eye, because if you may

(09:28):
or may not know Money in the Bank. The Money
in the Bank match for both the men and the
women is a ladder match, and if you climb up
and retrieve the briefcase within said match, you have a
championship contract within the next year that you can cash
in at any time, anytime, any place within the next year.
So if you win it next September, you can cash

(09:49):
in between next September and the September after that, And
that just adds a level of fund to everything. And
we've definitely seen how crazy everybody got this year with
the Money in the big briefcases with Naomi and seth rawlins.
So yeah, this was a polarizing announcement for some but
for me personally, it made me happy because hey, birthday weekend,

(10:12):
let's go. So yeah, hopefully, you know, as we continue
to roll on in the wrestling journey of things with
ww we'll see how this coalesces. Because Money I Bake
is usually earlier in the summer, like around June July,
so it's going to be really interesting to see how
it works in the placement of things after Summer Slam

(10:33):
and all those things. But also, I'm just worried. The
other pap per view I'm mostly just worried about now
is just if there's going to be an Evolution three
next year, give me an Evolution three and this money
in the bank in New Orleans, and I'm okay, I'm
literally okay. If that's the case, then that's fine. So yeah,

(10:54):
that's all I wanted to say about that. Also in
the news, we have former Ring of Honor Women's TV
Champion Red Velvet making her return to ROH and having
a lot to say about Mercedes Monet winning and becoming
the interim Ring of Honor Women's TV Champion Because of course,

(11:18):
Red Velvet wanted, but then due to injury, she had
to let it go, so and then Mina Shirakawa became
the interim champ. And now, of course Mercedes Monette has
won this title, breaking Ultimore Dragon's record of having twelve
velts at once. So in the midst of that, Red
Velvet is now clear to compete and she is ready

(11:40):
to fight Mercedes Monet whenever she wants to. And I
think that's amazing because a part of me that was
once upon a time where I wrote an article about
Mercedes being the person who would break Athena's record of
holding the Ring of Honor Women's World Champion, but that

(12:01):
has yet to happen, and that match hasn't happened quite yet.
But they have fought each other, of course, because they
fought each other in the owen Hart Cup semi finals
this year and that match was absolutely spectacular. That match
actually made my ranking on Daily DDT as in my
top five, and a part of me just really wanted

(12:22):
them to wanted to see them fight for the ROH title,
but that's not gonna happen. But I am intrigued to
see what Red Velvet does against Mercedes Monday, because and
I'm also wondering how they're gonna present it as well,
because Ring of Honor is on a subscription service and
most of what we do see from Red Velvet is

(12:42):
on ROH and a part of me is wondering, Okay, well,
will she have the opportunity to fight for this championship
on AW television or is it just gonna be behind
the paywall of Ring of Honor? Who knows? But I
am happy for her getting this opportunity, especially being a
black woman and getting the opportunity and just you know,

(13:02):
just continuing to thrive. And I'm happy she's feeling better
because I was bummed out when she got injured and
she was someone who I thought could have gone a
little bit farther in AAW on the AW side of things.
But then, of course, once Ring of Bonnor was revamped
in this way, the opportunity did open up for her
more there. I just wish that Ring of Honor was

(13:23):
just more available in the age of people having so
many subscription services. But you know, either way, I'm so
happy that Red Velvet is jocking for this opportunity to
become the ro women's TV champ again. So big ups
to her getting this chance against the Goat. I'm pumped.

(13:44):
I'm pumped about it. And of course Mercedes definitely has
her card full because she is also prepping to defend
the best Young Women's Championship that she won I believe
in Italy if I'm not mistaken, So she's ready to
defend that as well as fight Chris Statlander for the
AW Women's World Championship and possibly form Attack Team. Will

(14:09):
did form Attack Team with Athena to participate in the
first ever AAW Women's Tag Team title tournament too. So
there is just a lot going on in the world
of Mercedes Manet, but there is no rest when you
are the greatest women's wrestler of all time. I said it.
It doesn't matter who else says it or doesn't say it.
I said it. So yeah, it's gonna be cool. I'm

(14:32):
pumped about this journey. Also in the news, we had
Lady Lee, who was formerly known as Genala and also
Lee Larewe in WW getting her first booking in wrestling
for Beyond Wrestlings November Krona or November Canrana That's what
it was. So basically she will appear at the November

(14:56):
fourteenth show in Cranston, Rhode Island, and the promotion announce
this this past Thursday, and the front row is now
sold out and there will be other people on the
show like Shatzy Blackheart and other female talent. Now, of course,
I did mention her earlier this week in talking about
how she had to come online and address the beginning

(15:18):
or the pop out of her relationship with current United
States Champion Iliah dragonoff when other people were being weird
about finding out about their relationship. And then of course
she was on LFG in the first season, but then
of course she did not win, and then she would
make appearances on Evolve and NXC House shows. But of

(15:40):
course she was sadly let go in the round of
cuts that WWE had. But I am happy that she
is still pursuing wrestling in this way and not just
giving up due to the setbacks she's had, because she
has the amazing look of it, and I just can't
wait to see what more she does within professional wrestling,
because she has an aura clearly, so once she gets

(16:03):
everything else together and meld it together in one big
cohesive unit, she's gonna be a star. So I can't
wait to see what Lady Lee has in store for
us in the indies, and I just want to see
her thrive. Also more in the news, Nicki Bella decided
to big up Bailey on her Nicki and Brief podcast

(16:26):
that she has with her twin sister. She decided to
praise her more by describing her as an incredible human.
She said, when we first got there, because you know,
if you want your kids to get in the ring,
you got to get there early before people start to
get in there. And it was cute because Bailey was there,
and so Bailey jumped in with him because I wasn't
dressed yet in my workout clothes. And Bailey got in

(16:47):
there and was wrestling with him and it was so cute.
And then you know, Matteo, her son, kind of demands
a stage or a room. So he was like, hey, guys,
okay on the count of three, but he was but
then he was telling Bailey, okay, now you sit and
kind of put her through an abroutine. It was so cute.
She showed him a lock up and then he took

(17:08):
the arm and he's spinned her around. But she was
so cute with him. I send her the videos this morning.
This is one thing, and you know, I agree, if
I was like to be like Breede, name one person
you could define as the heart of wrestling, would it
not be her? She is not only an incredible human,
so kind and happy, just a really good person, a

(17:31):
good soul. You feel it, you're always around her. She's
always happy to see everyone. She's kind to everyone. She
listens when you talk. She's great at communicating. But she's
just like the heart of wrestling, she really is. She
loves the business. She gives back to the business. She's
a big star. She's such an incredible wrestler. She's really

(17:53):
big in this industry and always will be. She will
leave leave such a massive and huge light. I just
love her so much. And that was amazing to hear
and read from her, because Bailey is just a jewel
of a person and from what we're hearing with how
she was making Mateo feel safe and welcome in the ring,

(18:15):
and just the jewel of a person in general when
it comes to giving back in wrestling, because Bailey at
this stage of her career doesn't even have to do
half of the things that she's doing in wrestling, like
she's going to actually hold a women's wrestling seminar that
she had people email her about online and everything and
just hearing their stories and listening to their emails and

(18:36):
you know, hearing why they got into wrestling and all
the things. It's such a beautiful thing to see her
give back in the way that she is. She is
one of She was like, honestly, I feel like she's
probably number three on my list of in my ranking
of the four horse Women because to of course, you know,
Mercedes is number one. Actually no, I would actually switched

(19:00):
that Mercedes is number one, Bailey is number two, and
Charlotte is number three, with Becky being the number four,
and that's just no shade. But Bailey to me, like,
you like the match in Brooklyn that she had with Mercedes,
doesn't you know, It's like that match does not happen
without the greatness of Bailey too, And it's just she

(19:22):
is someone who is just so amazing and so great
at what she does and in helping others that it's
just like, bro, you just can't you can't buy that,
you can't manufacture it. She just loves everything about the
business and regardless of where her character is, I'll just
always be a supportive of her. So Bailey is awesome.

(19:44):
Nikki Bella was really cool for bigging her up like
that on her show, And I just feel like women's
wrestling and just wrestling in general would actually progress a
lot more if people just spoke positively about each other
more and not you know, with so much anger and
animosity too, because that can be a thing sometimes. So
this was really a great story to hear. Also, another

(20:08):
amazing thing that happened was Leah Vandell, who was, of
course formerly known as Carmela and WWE the first ever
Women's Money in the Bank winner and multi time champion
and stuff. Her birthday just passed. I believe actually her
and my mom's birthday are on the same day, so

(20:29):
her and my mom are birthday twins. It's really cool.
I love libras. She actually retweeted someone else's tweet when
they were talking about how much they miss her, and
she said that she misses the fans too, and I
was just like, oh, that is so sweet, because I
really do miss Carmela, and I feel like the decision
to let her go broke my heart in a very

(20:51):
like quiet way, but it really did, like hurt me
because and even in speaking about Bailey and Mercedes and
stuff like, she came a little bit after them, if
not with them. But at the same time, the way
that she was able to stand on her own two
feet after being a part of somewhat of a faction
with Real One and Big Bill, of course, was just

(21:16):
one of the most amazing things to watch. She was
always entertaining to me, whether she was a face or
a heel, and I wanted to see more of her.
I wanted to see more of her, of course after
she had her child with Corey and everything and had
a healthy baby, and then she just had another healthy
baby boy, which was amazing. Congress to her for that,

(21:36):
But I wanted to see more of her like interactions
with a Tiffany Stratton or with Chelsea Green that just
would have been entertaining because she's just funny no matter
what she does. So to see her get let go
the way she was just really hurt me deeply because
I always enjoyed the Fabulous One like I really always did.

(21:56):
So of course I know she's doing a great job
as an advocate for mothers and of course maternal health,
and she's being an amazing mom and stepmom to Corey's
children as well as her own children with him. But
if she ever decides that she wants to step back
into the ring, I'll definitely support it because mss ma'am

(22:17):
is amazing. I always thought she was amazing, and I
felt like there was a level of credit that she
didn't really get a whole lot of when it came
to her en ring work, because of course there was
always so much talent around, but what she gave was great,
and I feel like it just deserves a little bit
more respect and a little bit more adulation. So I

(22:41):
miss Carmela. I miss her so much, and if she
came back, I'd be super pumped about that. So yeah,
I miss your girl. Then in the news, we have
Athena speaking of her. In the swing of things, she
chatted with w f AA in Texas about her own

(23:03):
women's wrestling show that she was promoting, and then of course,
something else that came up was aw and his Women's
Tag Tournament, and something else was brought up was the
possibility of AW having an all women's po E Slash
pay per view, and she revealed that aw CEO president

(23:23):
Booker everything all the things. Tony Kahan has given thought
to an all women's show in the past, but the
cards haven't fallen into place as of yet. She is
quoted as saying, absolutely, I know TK has absolutely thought
about that. It's just about timing when those When it
comes to those things, we have the best roster in

(23:45):
the world. I know everybody says it, but we actually
do have the best roster in the world. I do
know that that is on his brain. It's been on
his brain since I've been in AW. At least. It's
just about timing, and I really do hope it happens
because I am a sucker for an all women's car.
I have a whole show about an all female promotion

(24:06):
with WOW. I loved being an Evolution this year. I
loved going to Empower years ago and how that was
basically the jumping off point for my wrestling media career
in terms of interviewing people and stuff like that. So
when it comes to all women's cars, those just have
a special place in my heart. So if AW were

(24:27):
to ever do one, I would definitely hop on a
plane and go wherever it is. I will go to
wherever it is. And the thing about a w is
along with ROH. They have enough talent to do it.
They have enough talent to do it, and they have
a bit more openness when it comes to people on
the NDIS possibly participating you know, in it as well.

(24:50):
So I hope somewhere down the line they do do it,
so I can go on a trip and see, you know,
this show, because I love the amount of talent that
those women have, and some of those women, you know,
don't get a whole whole, whole, whole whole lot of
shine the way that they deserve. So do an all
women's pay per view. Do it? Do it, do it,

(25:11):
do it, do it. Don't make us wait fifteen years. Please,
I want to do it while I'm able to move,
So let's do it. Let's let's not wait super super
duper long. Let's do it do it next year like
or even the year after that. Just do it soon, please.
And I'm glad that Athena was the one who got

(25:32):
to talk about it, because she is a history maker
when it comes to women's wrestling, even right now, being
if not the longest reigning ro OH Women's World Champion
at this point. She just does a lot of great
things for Women's Wrestling, and I'm just so happy that
she was the one to talk about it the way

(25:52):
that she was, so big ups to her for bringing
it up. And I'm really hoping that this happens for
AW because it would be cool. And in a bit
of somber and sad news, Sir Moe, who formerly wrestled
in WWE, whose real name was Bobby Horn, passed away

(26:13):
and he had been dealing with multiple health issues over
the summer. He was only fifty eight years old, which
really is not that it's not that old necessarily, it's
still relatively young, and he talked about the health issues
that he had been facing on social media. He said
that he had a major intestinal surgery and had for

(26:35):
his colon that had not really worked properly in three years.
Then earlier this month, a fundraiser was started to help
him with his medical bills following a diagnosis of septic
shock and pneumonia, and book Pro Wrestlers shared the news
of his passing late Sunday night, and they stated, as quote,

(26:57):
it is with great sadness that we share the news
that Bobby Horn, known to wrestling fans around the world
as Sermo of men on a Mission has passed away,
and of course people know him from being half of
Men on a Mission with Maybel, who was also known
as Viscera as well, who is also sadly no longer

(27:18):
with us, a tag team that swept the US with
their infectious charisma. He worked in WWE throughout the mid nineties,
but almost completely retired from the ring by the early
two thousands, and he had his last match in twenty twenty,
and plenty of wrestlers got on social media to pay
tribute to him. He was also a former ww Tag

(27:39):
Team champion. Mark Henry wrote, rest in peace, Sermo. We
crossed passed many years ago, but it was great to
make your acquaintance again, even though it was late in
our lives. And Adam Pierce, the Raw general manager, stated
that he was saddened to wake up to news that
Bobby Horn slash Sermo had passed. Bobby was always good

(28:01):
to me, keeping in touch with little messages over the years.
God speed, Mode. I appreciate you and the time we shared.
My heart goes out to his family, friends and all affected.
And Leilani Kai, who you may or may not know,
was one half of the first women's match to ever
happen at Rustlemania. One stated that he was always kind

(28:24):
to me, always smiling, joking around, and treating everyone with respect.
When you were new or didn't quite fit in yet,
Bobby had a way of making you feel welcome. That
meant a lot back then, especially on those long road trips,
when being a part of the locker room family mattered
the most. So it seems like a lot of people

(28:45):
were affected greatly by his life, and I'm so sorry
for those friends and family members who lost him. And
it seemed like towards the end he really did try
to fight a lot of the things that he was
going through, But there isn't a sense of defeat in this.

(29:10):
I'm glad that on the other side that there is
no pain, that there is no sickness. And I hope
that with all that I've heard about him, because I
wasn't as familiar with him, because if they said that
was in the early nineties, I didn't watch wrestling until
the mid nineties, I hope that he has reached the

(29:33):
other side where there is nothing but light, love and
no pain forever more. And yeah, I hope that everyone
that's affected by this is doing okay and sharing great
memories of him and just keeping your loved ones close.
You guys, just keep everyone close, and just reach out

(29:55):
and say hi to those that love you, and just
keep everyone because times might get hard, but as long
as we have each other, we can get through anything.
And you just never know what people are going through.
So just continue to spread love and positivity and rest
in peace to sir Mo. And with that in mind,

(30:19):
we will end News and Gossip Fish and move into
the special segment where now I will be giving my
NXT Halloween Havoc predictions predictions. So we're gonna start with
the women, and this was a very dramatic turn of

(30:43):
events which I will talk about a little bit later
in the show, but Blake Munro will be fighting for
the NXT Women's North American Championship against Zaria because of course,
on the show this past Tuesday, soul Ruka stated that
she had injured her knee in her match in the
tag team matches she had with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss,

(31:07):
and she had on a cast and everything, and it
looked like she had a lot to say and she
was sad about not being able to fully compete, so Zaria,
of course, loving her friends so much, decided to defend
a championship in Solruka's honor, and of course Blake was
laughing at it, thinking it was just another feeble attempt
to keep their friendship together when it's bound to fall apart.

(31:31):
And it just seems like now she's just bound and
determined to just yank them apart and use the championship
to do it. This is what this has all has
been leading to. And the thing that sort of saddens
me about the situation is that we have not seen
Zaria have a great opportunity like this at all, because

(31:56):
a lot of people were very excited about her being
on NXT and making herself known as a dominant superstar.
But then, of course she became friends with so Ruka,
you know, and they accomplished a lot together. But then,
of course so Ruka became North American Champion, and then
she also became Speed Champion, and Zaria hasn't won any

(32:19):
championships at all, and in their last attempt to get
her a title, so Ruka wound up tapping out. And
it's just at what point are we going to see
Zaria really step into who she truly is and who
she could be, you know, as a cham A part
of me wants to believe that it'll happen here, But
I just have this very strange feeling from the way

(32:43):
that so Ruka was looking at her lift up the
title and defend her honor against Black Monroe on Tuesday,
that something else is afoot. I really have this big
prediction that Zaria will be on her way to almost
defending the title, but then Soul Ruka will probably either

(33:05):
stop her or get in the way of her defending
a title just to keep Zaria from having it somehow,
and at the risk of Blake winning it, maybe she'll
just keep Zaria from it. I feel like something like
that could happen, or maybe you know, Soul will cost

(33:25):
them the entire match and the match will get thrown out.
I don't know. I just feel like something dramatic might happen,
where of course it'll lead to the possible end of Zuruka,
which will be heartbreaking, But at the same time, it
just feels like the cracks have been forming little by little,
which is something that I do like about the storytelling,
is that the cracks have been forming little by little

(33:48):
and then everything could fall apart, and Blake Monroe, you know,
who is such a star at this point from everything
that she's done in the past, of course everything she's
doing now, she just might winness championship. So I'm predicting
that Blake Monroe might win this title. But I'm also

(34:11):
open to the possibility that this match might come to
a note contest somehow due to the interference of soul
Ruka and revealing that she actually isn't that injured. I
don't know, but that's just what my prediction is. Also,
in terms of the women, we have only two women's
matcheses go around for Halloween Havoc. We have Tatum Pasley,

(34:35):
our spooky, spooky, adorable girl, going up against j C.
Jane for the NXT Women's Championship. Now, Tatum Pasley has
really come into her own. I remember the very first
time I saw her. I loved the way that she
moved in the ring. She impressed me a whole whole lot.
But when it comes to her character work as sort
of like a scream Queen two point zero, I really

(34:59):
like it doesn't scream, but every time I look at her,
she just reminds me of Daphne, and she just looks
like she could be Daphne's long lost child, and I
just love just what she gives in terms of her
creepy vibe and everything else like that. And it's just
really great to see her rise up, especially after losing

(35:21):
her friends in Shatzi and Priscilla Kelly formally known as
Gigi Dolan, and then of course rising up and then
eventually befriending the Culling and now she won this battle
Royal and she has this chance, and Izzy Dame seems
to be on the same page with her and seems
to be supporting her, whereas j C Jane was just
calling her a weirdow and just being mean to her

(35:43):
and all that stuff. And a part of me really
wants to believe that Izzy and the rest of the
Calling could have Tatum's back in this, but there's just
and even but even with that, if Izzy's just out there,
she's still outnumbered by Fallon Henley and now Laney Reid,

(36:04):
who's a much stronger member of Fatal Influence. So sadly,
as sad as this makes me, I'm gonna predict that
jac Jane is just gonna retain the NXC Women's title.
But I feel like we're gonna get a star making
performance out of Tatum Paxley because this is her first POE,
which blew my mind when she said it on Tuesday.
I was like, what, that's crazy. But I am happy

(36:27):
for her and she's definitely gonna show out. But then
I just really feel like jac might retain. But then
you also have another test of friendship because Izzy might
feel that she should have gotten that opportunity. There's a
lot of stirring of the pot that Jac did within
their friendship when it came to the way that Battle
Royal went. So yeah, there's a lot of friendship stuff

(36:48):
on the line with this Halloween havoc this year with
the girls. So I'm predicting that Jace Jane will retain
and Tatum's gonna do a great job. But there's the
factor there of Izzy and fatal influence too, so we'll
see what happens, but I'm predicting JC. Now moving into

(37:09):
the predictions for the men, we have a tag team
match with Javon Evans and the TNA ex Division champion
Leon Slater, who's been impressing me a whole lot as
a plate going up against Triple A's La Parca and
mister Iguana, who's just a fan favorite due to him
and Layesta. I'm very excited to see this match simply

(37:32):
because of all of the bouncing and all of the
flying we are gonna see. It's gonna be so sick.
They're gonna tear the house down. It's gonna be like
Mega Lucha Power Ranger vibes, and I am just really
excited about it. I don't even know who's gonna win.
I just feel like whoever wins. Regardless of who wins

(37:53):
and who loses, we win as fans because we just
get to see all of that awesomeness take place. Like seriously, Leon,
Javon La Parca and mister Iguana, It's gonna be fire.
I'm just predicting that this match is gonna be fire.
Oh my goodness. I think I'm gonna predict that Javon

(38:16):
and Leon are gonna win, and hopefully as they win
and give their partnership some time to breathe, they will
find their way back to each other going against each
other one on one for the ex Division Championship. I
want Javon Evans to get some gold around his ways
because he just deserves it. But this match is really

(38:37):
hard to predict, but I think for now I'm just
gonna predict Javon and Leon. They're gonna win. They're gonna win,
and it's gonna be fine. But either way, we win
as fans because we get to witness that it's gonna
be cool, bouncy two point zero. I love it. And
then we have this dastardly match. We have a Day

(38:58):
of the Dead match between l Eho Did Doctor Wagner Jr.
Versus Ethan Page for the NXC North American Championship. Something
that my boyfriend observed the first time he saw L.
Eho's championship was the fact that his title that he's
currently holding, which has lots of it, has all of

(39:21):
Central America down to South well down to South America
on his title, and then you have Ethan Page's title,
which has all of North America on it. So basically
their titles complete each other on a map. That is
some major geography going on right there. With that, with
those titles, it's really interesting. It's like they complete each other.

(39:43):
It's really awesome. And I was so happy he mentioned
that because I was like, oh, Wow. That hmm, that's interesting.
And I will say this, I'm intrigued to see what
a Day of the Dead match is because I've never
seen one before. And number two the day of the
concept of Day of the Dead in the Mexican tradition.

(40:04):
I just love it because it's like their way of
reconnecting and sharing memories of people who have passed on
and remembering them. I respect that tradition so so much,
and it's just very beautiful the way that they celebrate.
So this being a part of Halloween, because both holidays

(40:24):
are sort of intertwined with each other as more and
more each year, I think it's I think it's really
great in terms of the partnership with Triple A and WW.
I like that they're mixing those two together. This is
kind of hard here again, a very hard match to predict,

(40:45):
but I want l Eho to win the match. I
want him to win the match because some because I'm
not entirely sure who else could challenge Ethan Page at
this point for the North American Championship. If you do,
let me know in the comments, which I should have

(41:07):
said earlier in the show, like if you have anything
you want to say, or add to the show. Please
tell me in the comments. I love interactions, but I just, hmm,
it's just really hard. But I think I'm I think
I'm gonna predict l Eho is going to win the
match because it just seems like something he's a bit

(41:28):
more familiar with, even though Ethan page Is just wants
to claim that he's just that dude and he just
doesn't need, you know, preparation or whatever. I don't know.
I just I want l Eho to win so he
can hold both of those belts and just complete the
belt thing. So yeah, but I'm definitely intrigued to see

(41:49):
how this match goes, because yeah, it's gonna be cool.
And then we have another spooky match. You have the
Broken Hearties, even though this picture they don't look too
broken going up against dark State. Could be any member
of Dark State to fight for the NXT Tag team

(42:09):
titles in a broken Rules match. Now, there was a
report out there saying that the Broken Rules match wasn't
going to be cinematic like we're used to seeing from
the Broken Hardy universe. But I will say how it
was very refreshing watching NXC this past Tuesday and seeing
the Hardy compound with all of the Hardy kids and
Rebby playing the piano and them going into the Lake

(42:31):
of Reincarnation. It was awesome. I love that I'm biased,
but either way, I've I am predicting that the broken
Hartys will win simply because as tough as Dark State is,
I just don't think that they're tough enough to get
past the spooky Shenanigans of this match. They're just not.
It's either going to be very serious and spooky, or

(42:52):
it's gonna be hilarious and spooky the way that that
one match went with that Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes
and when they were in that haunted house, It's gonna
be hilarious. It could be hilarious or it could just
be one stupid spooky to the point where they're they're
just running and just running, scared and they just can't

(43:14):
take it anymore. So, yeah, I'm predicting the Hardys are
gonna win. Am I biased? Yes? Do I care? No? Yeah,
Hearty supremacy over here. And finally, when it comes to
the to the NXT Championship, we have Trick Williams versus

(43:39):
Ricky Saints, the absolute one, This is like a battle
of two bad bitches, Like it really is in the
best way possible. These two men have so much swags,
so much ego, so much ooh that I'm just not

(44:03):
entirely sure the ring will be able to contain all
of that aura at all. And this they sold me
on it, And I'm gonna talk more about why they
sold me on it the further we go into the show.
But I am just so happy that these two black
men get to authentically be themselves and fight for this

(44:27):
top title. And as much as it might pain me
to say it, I just feel that this match might
be Trick's last NX team match. I'm not entirely sure
if anybody else has thought about it or said it
out loud per se, but my I feel like one

(44:49):
of my biggest predictions for this match is that this
might very well be Trick Williams's last NX team match.
And Number one, it comes from the reasoning of him
having accomplished so much in NXT. He's won the championship twice,
He's been North American Champion, even though that was only

(45:10):
for like a few days, but he still won it.
And he stepped out of the shadow of being Carmelo
Hayes's you know, hype dude. Like he stepped out of
that shadow and became his own star, and he got
much better. You know, he got way way, way, way,
way way way better at wrestling, and he was, you know,

(45:31):
at the beginning of his journey. He became TNA champion.
He's done so much. And then my other reasoning behind
this possibly being his last NXT matches the time, something
that always stays with me for so many reasons is
the fact that when the whole mystery of who attacked

(45:55):
Trick Williams was going on, and while Carmelo Hayes was
fighting to get his NX championship back from Ilia, dragonof
Trick Williams made his big return after the attack during
the Carmelo and Ilia match, And it's funny how time works,
and he walked up to Carmelo, stared at him, you know,

(46:17):
and helped him up after he lost the match, and
just looked at him like with sort of like this
dead stare, you know, and he was standing above Carmelo
who was laying on the mat, and this was kind
of the moment where he sort of just it was
like him stepping out on his own into his own
power to a degree. So to me, it would only

(46:39):
make sense from a full circle standpoint because that was
at Halloween Havoc two years ago, that this would be
his final, you know, his last hurrah. So I really
think with this possibly being his last NXT match, Ricky start,
I mean that starts. Lord, I'm sorry, Ricky Saints is

(47:02):
going to retain. He's gonna ultimately retain. Trick and him
are going to have a barn burner of a match,
but Ricky Saints is going to ultimately retain the title,
and Trick might be going up to the main roster
at this point because he just has everything he needs.
He just has it and it really might be his

(47:23):
time now. So yeah, but if I'm wrong, I will
one hundred percent say that I'm wrong, because I'm not
afraid to be wrong. I know that. Excuse me. I
know I don't have all the answers, but you know

(47:44):
it's cool. So yeah, those are all of my predictions
for NXY Halloween Havoc for those who are just need
to be reminded of it. You see the day up there.
Halloween Havoc is tomorrow at seven Eastern six pm Central
on Peacock and on Netflix internationally. I know it might

(48:07):
feel a little weird and confusing because there's the whole
ESPN thing blah blah blah blah. But NXT's po's are
still on Peacock, so you can watch it there in
the United States and watch it internationally on Netflix. And
this is funny for me because it's Magic City Classic
Weekend and they decided to put this on this day
and it's just like, but it's not their job to

(48:30):
care about that kind of thing. But still, I just
think the timing of it is just really hilarious. But
those are all my predictions for NXT's Halloween Havoc. I'm
really excited about it. And now we're going into what
I liked in wrestling this week. It was a lot.

(48:50):
We're gonna start with the women on RAW. I loved
the performance that Maxine Dupre gave in her Women's Inner
Kind Of Championship match against Becky Lynch. This woman tore
the house down in her hometown of Sacramento, California. She
popped off and I've been waiting for this version of

(49:12):
Maxine to step forward ever since Becky. You know, gave
her that pep talk. I want to say it was
last year backstage, how she wanted to see more from her,
and it just seems like the more she works, the
better she gets. It's just awesome to see Maxine really
step into her power and train a whole lot more

(49:35):
and watch the passion that she has for this and
want to get better. And I just love it. I
just love it so much. And if it just weren't
for that, you know, screwy finish, she probably would have won.
But she still is motivated to prove herself and possibly
win some gold at some point, and I'm absolutely here
for it. So Maxine did a fantastic job. I enjoyed

(49:58):
how well she did against Becky Lynch. She did phenomenal.
But in the midst of this discourse, which was something
that happened in the match that she had, which was
a non title match with Becky Lynch, everybody just kept
asking where is aj Lee, Where is aj Why isn't
she coming out helping Maxine, Where's aj They are fumbling her,

(50:19):
where's aj No something not saying that this is one
hundred percent because I don't know aj I don't know her.
But when she came back. It was a huge moment.
It was amazing. We enjoyed seeing her back in the ring,
you know, getting in Becky's face and beating up everybody

(50:40):
and beating even beating up seth rawlins, you know, and
stuff like that. Was great. But I feel like something
in this age of us wanting everything to be the
way that we wanted because we love it and love
wrestling so so, so, so so so much, I think
we're forgetting that these are human beings. And she mentioned

(51:04):
on her first raw back that she was doing some
that she had done some mental health work, and that
she to a degree, suffered from levels of anxiety and stuff.
But and my thing is, it's just like, well, if
she was dealing with that sort of thing while also,
you know, maintaining her writer life and doing all kinds

(51:26):
of other things, why can't we be understanding of that.
There have been people, one of them whom is one
of the biggest stars in the company, who have a
limited schedule and they can go do movies, do photo shoots,
do so many things and then come back and pop

(51:47):
up every now and again, and everybody will still pop
and be happy about it. Why can't a woman do
the same thing. Because Aja is not just a wrestler.
Now she is a wrestler, she's also an author. She writes,
you know, her own comic books, and she also writes
for TV as far as I know, and she has

(52:08):
other projects going on. So with that being the case,
it might be some time where we might not see her,
and that's okay, because she deserves to have, you know,
the run of her life as she so chooses. And
if we can sit around and be okay with someone
like you know, Rum and Rains or just anybody else

(52:30):
having a part time schedule and all the above, we
need to become okay with a woman doing it too.
And she'll be back when the time is right, and
that's okay, you know. And I'm not going to sit
here and pretend like I wasn't one of those people
sort of pushing for her to win the women's Intercontinental

(52:51):
title and take it off Becky Lynch. But at the
same time, you know, we need to give her her
time to process everything and then and then come back
when she's ready. So it's gonna be okay. It's gonna
be okay. But the other girls deserve shine too, And
I feel like that shouldn't get lost in the sauce

(53:12):
of things. So, yeah, she'll be back, and I'm happy
and we'll all be happy when she does come back.
And we also can't be quick to say, oh, well,
this return for this veteran was fumbled because it's this
and they're not on here, you know, consistently all the time,
da da da da da da. Well, because they're veterans
and they have other stuff going on in their lives,

(53:35):
we gotta relax a bit and let these people live
before they just pop back on our television. It's not
like back in the day when they were just wrestling
full time and that was just it. It's okay. And in
speaking of veterans on Raw, we got an interaction with
Nikki Bella, of course, because she came to the aid

(53:58):
of Stepaniel Vi care her match with Roxanne, because of course,
Roxanne and Raquel proceed to attack Stephanie and she came
to her rescue and Stephanie was very grateful for it.
But Nicki Bella gave off the impression that it was
sort of like hidden under the guise of look, I've
been here for years. I know that there are people

(54:19):
who could very well attack you afterward or you know,
put a target on you, so you need to really
watch your back. But a lot of people read it
as her saying you really need to watch out because
very well, because I could very well want to come
for your championship too, And I would be very interesting
in seeing how Nicki Bella would adapt to a wrestler

(54:42):
like Stephanie. I think that would be a very interesting
match to see. It would be really cool. But you know,
they also want to have a tag team match against
Roxanne and Raquel. I will be open to that as well.
So yeah, I hope Stephanie knows that she can't be
too trusting. But at the same time, I also it's

(55:04):
also nice to see her have a little bit of backup. Also,
I just really love how that entire this entire thing
just has here again amazing Hispanic women at the center
of the story, with Raquel, Roxanne, Stephanie, and Nikki, Like,
that's amazing, love that, love that for them. That's amazing

(55:25):
representation right there. Then with the women on Wrong, we
had Becky Lynch get Paul Hayman together in such a
way that I felt her words burn my skin, Like
because of course Paul Hayman is sort of living in
the afterglow, if you can call it that, of the

(55:45):
vision turning on Seth Rawlins. And then of course, now
Seth is out for the foreseeable future, and Paul was
trying to woo Becky, and Becky of course wasn't having
it because when it all falls down, going to be
on the side of her hubsand hut bluh, her husband.
You know, she's going to be on her husband's side.

(56:07):
And that just makes all the sense because duh, she
loves her hot husband. And so she basically she called
him a penguin penguin faced prick, and I was like, oh,
and she said, look, Seth knew you were going to
do this. He doesn't care about you, my erring fellow.
He doesn't care about you. He was only using you.

(56:30):
And please best believe when you come back, regardless to
what Neppo Baby you attach yourself to, he's coming for you.
He's going to kill them, only because he doesn't truly
care enough to kill you. And I was like, Becky
really reached into some dark stuff there, and I've never
seen her reach in before, but it makes sense because

(56:52):
she's angry. She's very angry, and she's the conduit right
now for Seth Rollins not being able to say all
the things he wants to say. So I like it.
I like it a lot. So that version of the
vision is dead. Clearly, Becky isn't interested in that. She's
gone out of that. So she stands by her man,

(57:18):
her man, her man, her baby, her baby, her baby.
Shout out to meganis Dallion, I love lover girl. It
came out today, was great, huh. And when it comes
to the men of the Vision, they of course came
out and gave Seth Rollins championship to Adam Pierce because

(57:41):
Adam had to strip him of the title because he's
going to be out with his injury, which is something
that really bummed me out a bit. And what really
bummed me out even more about the situation was the
fact that when you think about it, people on social
media on Twitter were showing the parallels between Naomi winning

(58:06):
money in the bank and Seth winning money in the
bank this year because they won the briefcases earlier. They
cashed in, albeit, of course Seth did in a very
dramatic fashion, which is you know, of course, and Naomi
did hers and in a dramatic and amazing and surprising
fashion and left us with whiplash that I will remember

(58:29):
for the rest of my life and get chills thinking
about forever. But I'm still not over evolution. Guys. They
both cash in. They both won both versions of the
World Heavyweight Championships, only to have to give those titles up.
But the thing that bugged me though, was the fact
that you had people online saying that Naomi had to

(58:51):
give her stuff up due to injury. A pregnancy is
a pregnancy, it is, but isn't an injury in the
sense because mind you, I know I've never been pregnant,
don't really plan on it right now. When you're pregnant
with a life and you're bringing a life into the world,
it does hurt, you know, and you do have to

(59:12):
recover from it. But I feel like naming something like
bringing life into the world and injury just feels wrong.
It just like, it just feels kind of wrong. It
just feels like, look, she's just out because she's going
to be a mother, she's creating life. It feels weird
for people to equate that to an injury. That just
felt really weird for people to be saying it like,

(59:33):
she's not out with injury, she's bringing a life into
the world. Guys. Come on, I understand she's out, but
it's not like she's out because she's hurt. She's out
because she's pregnant. She's having a baby. Guys. My god.
It's a lot of you know, catastrophe attached to this
sort of thing. But you know, I do think it's

(59:57):
interesting the parallels of it, because I had never thought
of it that way. But let's not talk about Naomi's
pregnancy as if it's an injury, because it's not. It's life.
It's a life giving miracle. So yeah, but yeah, Seth
had to give up his championship even though he was
not there, but we do wish him a speedy recovery

(01:00:19):
and I hope that he does get better so he
can get his lick back, you know, because we need
that for the streets. And then, of course, on Monday
Night Raw, we saw the crowning of new world tag
team champions in the form of what the Internet didn't
deem them, Team aj Lee, AJ Styles, AJ Styles and

(01:00:41):
Dragon Ly. They surprisingly took the championships off of the
Judgment Day, which is which now leaves them with only
two titles in the form on Dominic Mysterio, who is
still the Triple A Mega Champion and the Intercontinental Champion,
so he's the only one with championship. Finn and JD
are mad about it. Roxead is trying to relax people

(01:01:04):
who she shouldn't be relaxing. But you know, we'll let
that marinate later. But AJ and Dragonly won the titles,
and I think that's really cool and it gives something
fresh and awesome. So I'm hoping somehow. I guess the
New Day will challenge for these at some point, if

(01:01:24):
not go for something else, because Kofe did participate in
that Battle Royal, which I will talk about in a minute,
and I would just love to see that both of
them do single stuff and just support each other. But
you know, I don't know, but big ups to them
for winning the tag titles. That was really cool. And
when it comes to this messy Battle Royal, not messy

(01:01:46):
in quality, but just messy in the way that it
ended Jay and Battle Royals this year, it's really funny
because he won the Royal Rumble for what it was,
and then he wound up winning the title and then
he lost the title on all the things, and something

(01:02:07):
that's taking him over is the fact that Roman has
gotten into his head so much so to the point
to where he feels like he has to take on
his characteristics in his old, old characteristics in order to
win the title again have glory. And that makes me
feel so sad because he's feeling like him in his

(01:02:30):
regular form that he won the title with isn't good enough.
And that just makes me so sad because everything about
you was good enough the first time. Why change that
just because you have somebody whispering in your ear. Yeah,
you can get opinions, and you can hear people's opinions
back the end of the day, what are you gonna do?

(01:02:51):
What are you gonna do? You know, to drown out
the outside noise and make the decision that feels what's
best for you. And it just feels like all of
the darkness is really taking him over so and it's
taking him over so much so to the point to
where he's even sacrificing his brother's glory for that, and
that was so ugly. I was just like, so you

(01:03:12):
gonna do that to your twins who hasn't even had
a chance to shine. Okay, you don't lost a plot officially,
So now we got Jay Huso versus cm Punk because
of course cmpunk won that triple threat to become number
one contender, of course before the injury stuff happened. So
now they're gonna fight a Saturday Nights main event, and

(01:03:34):
I'm really stoked about that because I want cmpunk to
get that title back because he should have kept that
title at Summer Slam, but mister stunt Queen Seth decided
to show us you know, he could be dramatic and
cash in and just ruined Cempunk's night with his fantastic

(01:03:56):
four gear on, which bummed me out. So yeah, Jay
might mess around and lose because his brother is running
around being angry at him and all the above. I
really I'm just gonna need Seeampunk to win that title
because it's been too long and he needs to get
his lick back. So I'm pumped. It's gonna be cool.

(01:04:17):
But Jay is losing the plot. He needs to find
a quick find it please. And also in terms of
finding losing the plot, he found somebody else's baby, so
the baby was yeating with the usos and that was
such that was like the cutest moment ever and she
probably had no clue what was going on, but she

(01:04:37):
wasn't crying, so I guess that's a good thing. The
ussos are just really good with children and babies because
they're just like, oh my god, children, babies, their fathers.
It's great. So that was really sweet. And I hope
that that child grows up to be more a bigger
wrestling fan in their childhood and their adult life than ever,

(01:05:01):
and then they'll be like, oh, well, Jay held me
one time, so I bragg different, So that's gonna be cool.
Now moving into NXT, I love that Izzy was standing
up for Tatum and Tatum was really speaking confidently when
it came to her confrontation with fatal influence in JC Jane.

(01:05:23):
I love that dynamic there, and I also loved how
Izzy wasn't letting the stirring of the pot, you know,
get into Tatum's head and all of the above, which
just adds more fuel to the fire for tomorrow. So
I did talk about that a little bit more, but
I did love how she was there for her, so

(01:05:43):
that was really cool. Something I did not love, however,
was the NXT girls dumping out Kolanie Jordan's stuff because
she's the TNA Knockouts Champion and was assigned to be
on t TNA for the show. Now I'm like, well,
what did y'all want her to do? Y'all wanted her
to literally like turn her back on the brand and

(01:06:06):
she's the champion of and you know, just be with y'all,
and y'all threw her stuff out, so y'all just want
her to get ready in the bathroom Like that just
wasn't fair to me. Plus not to mention since the
showdown is over, what's the point in doing this now?
Like why are we doing all of this now in
reaction to it? Like that just made no cease. Like,

(01:06:29):
if she's the knockout champion, I honestly think and instead
of throwing her clothes out, maybe you guys could step
up your game and actually challenge her instead of doing
this middle school type stuff like that was just really dumb.
I hated that so so much. It was loser behavior
and I didn't like it. But then I also hated
the fact that Kelane decided to get an attitude with

(01:06:51):
Jordan Grace, who was just trying to help her and
all of the above and be y'all like, oh, well,
you don't have a championship in NXT, right, And I
was just like, that was very blow to built. That
was unnecessary. And I'm sitting here like you're talking a
whole lot of stuff for somebody whose stuff just got
thrown out, Like girl relaxed, but still it was rude,

(01:07:14):
and I felt like that was just trashy. So put
her stuff back in the locker room, put some respect
on her name before she winds up slapping off, because
I honestly feel like Klanie is just being a little
bit too nice and she needs to get buck again,
if not a little a little bit more buck, because
it just needs to happen. So yeah, and then of

(01:07:36):
course you had the interaction with Soul being hurt. Like
I mentioned in my predictions, I honestly feel that there's
something darker afoot with Soul being hurt, and she could
very well, like Seth Rollins, be faking an injury just
to show some more I guess, show something else for

(01:07:58):
her character. I'm not sure, but I just feel like
there's just something else cooking or brewing in her mind
that might wind up costing Zaria and their friendship in
the end, so that's gonna be pretty dark. It did
feel weird for Able to be out there with Soul
because it was kind of giving that she was going
to give up the title and she was legitimately hurt,

(01:08:19):
but it was just something in the way that Saul
was staring at Zaria when she held up that title
over Blake that just kind of gave something else. So
I can't wait to see what unfolds with that tomorrow.
So and then, of course, like I mentioned earlier, you
had the Hearty Compound make its grand return to its

(01:08:41):
grand return to television with WWE, so that was really awesome.
They were walking about and Jeff was limping still and
I was just like, Jeff, for you, Okay, why are
you limping please? But then of course they went inside
the Lake of Reincarnation and came out as broken Mat
and brother near so dark state. I hope you got

(01:09:04):
your your diepies, like Kso would say, because it's spooky time.
It's spooky time now moving into aaw dynamite. Something that
made me said and Loki irritated me was that I
was looking forward to Mercedes having her celebration for winning

(01:09:27):
twelve belts and it winds up getting destroyed because of
Harley Cameron and her puppet Manet, her Minie Manet as
she calls her. And then the cake was out there
and it winds up getting and she winds up getting
tossed like she winds up getting tossed like into the

(01:09:51):
cake by Chris Statlander because of course they have that
beef going on because they're about to fight for the
aw Women's World Championship, and they ruined her her hair,
her face, like in her makeup by bashing her into
the cake and through the table. And I'm just like,
Mercedes deserves more of a celebration than this. She deserves
more respect than this. How y'all gonna do the goat

(01:10:14):
like that? But then Mercedes clocked Harley Camera's tea and said,
weren't you just asking me to be your tag team
partner a few weeks ago? And now you're disrespecting me
at my celebration exactly? Mak it make sense? But you know,
I don't know it. I feel like she deserves a

(01:10:36):
better celebration. My boyfriend is saying, wow, I don't know
what what the wow is for, but thank you for
your comment. Babe, I love you, so yeah, she deserves better.
And then, of course, with her still having cake stains

(01:10:56):
on her face, Athena confronted her backstage and actually wanted
her to be her partner for the tag team for
the women's Tag Team Title tournament. And I'm just like, so,
is this how she gets belt thirteen? Is it? Because
of course I love the idea of her winning all

(01:11:18):
these belts, and I hope she gets to twenty at
some point, but I'm not gonna lie. If I had
to choose who I would want to win the whole
tournament and actually become the first champions, I would actually
want it to be Anna J and Taye Kwanti. And
the reason why I want them to win is simply

(01:11:39):
because of the fact that they just have been, Oh
I lost the picture. They have just been, you know,
a solid tag team since AW started, and it's like
first couple of years before there were there were tag
team titles for the women, they were just a substantial
and strong tag team. So I feel like for them

(01:12:01):
to be the first ever once, I would really appreciate
that and love that a whole lot more So, I'm
definitely bigging up an A J. And Tykwonti to be
the first ever aw Women's World Tag Team Champions. Also,
I think it's kind of shady that Athena didn't ask
Billy Starks to be her partner. You ask the woman

(01:12:24):
who could very well take you're always title if she
wanted to to be your partner. That's weird, but okay,
I'll take it. I'll take it. But ultimately I do
want aj to become the first ever champions because that
would just that would just hit right in all the

(01:12:45):
good places. So yeah, now moving into oh I went
too far, Moving into SmackDown, something that I really loved
was Chelsea tried to recruit Julia to be her on
her secret hervist and Julia not being interested in any
of it. But then of course you have Keana James,
who was prepping for her match against Tippy Stratton Tonight,

(01:13:08):
walking up behind her and calling Chelsea a discount diva,
and then shell all Chelsea heard was up a diva.
And I just love that because ultimately Chelsea Green has
said it's documented that she said that she would have
been you know, awesome for the diva's era, which she
would have been, but you know, calling her a discount

(01:13:30):
Diva was very very like Shady. I was just like
dang Keana, but Keana definitely looked great with her outfit
and everything. And she said that Julia is booked up,
you know, for the foreseeable future, so she will not
be able to be a part of your secret hervist
and then she took her away, and then Julia said

(01:13:51):
a rivederci and just walked away. But what I don't
have a picture of is what was going on in
the background, Miss Mama's. Nikki Cross, the badass who's been
getting in Solo's cohas face with the Wyat six, was
orbing around in the background, just woo like a ghost.

(01:14:12):
And I'm wondering when is she gonna challenge Julia for
this United States Championship? When is that gonna happen? Because
I'm pumped for that. I am very pumped for that.
I want to see it. I need it in my bones,
Nikki Cross versus Julia book it now. I need it

(01:14:33):
because we need more title defenses from Julia. Julia might
be bullying Tiffany now, which is strange because I mean,
she could be a two belt champion. But at the
same time, I really want to see the Women's United
States Championship. Defend it a whole lot more than it is,
whether it be on TV or even a pl E,

(01:14:55):
because at this point it's just falling, falling, falling, and
that's not fair. That's not fair at all. It should
be creating new stars on bigger platforms and not just
being an accessory that you see on the on a
free TV show. Sometimes we need to do better. So yeah,

(01:15:16):
and in speaking of women's matches, Tiffany and Keana did
a phenomenal job. Something that I love that they did
do on the show is that Michael Cole did mention
how they fought each other for the NXC Women's Championship,
and of course Keana wound up, you know, losing that match.
But yet that match was really good because both of

(01:15:37):
these women are very evenly matched when it comes to
their gymnastis background and everything. A lot of the high
flying and flipping Keana can do, so she matches up
with Tiffany Stratton in that way and they were definitely
just giving it to each other. It was really great.
I enjoyed it. I wouldn't mind seeing this match happen again.

(01:16:00):
I need to see more Keanna James wrestling on my television.
I need it because yeah, I just I'm just happy
to see these black women be excellent. And yes, Keana
James is black and before so we can get that
part out of the way. Keana James is a black woman,

(01:16:21):
She's mixed, and I just want to see her wrestle
more like, she's good as a manager and she's great
as a talker, but just let her wrestle and she'll
be awesome. And she was awesome tonight. I really thought
she was gonna win, but of course Tiffany won. But
then after Tiffany one, she wound up getting attacked by

(01:16:42):
both Keanna and Julia, you know, and she was getting
beat up, and I was just like, okay, so at
what point, like who's gonna help her at this point,
who's gonna help her? Who's gonna help her? And then
Jade comes out, you know, helps beat them off of
her or whatever, and so she actually lifts up the
arm of Tiffany as have to say, yeah, here you

(01:17:05):
are you one. You know, I wanted to help you
be the nice person, right wrong. She decided to clean
Tiffy's clock, knock her the heck out beat up on
her behind the commentary desk, throw her into the commentary desk,
throw her into the steel steps, and then she stepped

(01:17:25):
on Tiffy's knee. She stepped on her knee. Her gray
hair like, her hair wasn't even like the silver hair like,
it was silver and black underneath, and it was cute
and it was fierce, and her outfit was giving, like
she was going to a rock concert, like a punk concert.
Like she looked like a punk baddie and I loved it.

(01:17:48):
She looked so cute and she was just ough. It
was just giving, it was giving villain and I loved it.
And then she still had the scar on her face
from when she got cut from her last match, and
I was just like, she looks like a badass. Stop it.
I was supporting it, and I was just like, yes, Jade.

(01:18:09):
And then Kathy Kelly got an interview with her and
was just like, look, you know, can you tell us
why you did what you did? And Jade said that
she got tired, Like basically, she was just like, look,
she learned that the world does not reward patience. Instead
of waiting for it, I'm just going to take it.

(01:18:31):
And I love that mentality because sometimes in life you
got to stop waiting on things and you just got
to take it into your own hands, now, mind you, Like,
I've had to learn to try sometimes I have to
learn to let things go. But then there are really
sometimes where you just gotta just grab life by the
horns and just take it. Especially being a black woman,

(01:18:55):
you gotta take it. So I loved it. I was
just like, yeah, I'm here for it. I'm here for it.
I'm so here for it. I support Jake Carkills rights
and wrongs. I love it. I love it, I love it.
I love it. Go Jay go, Jay go Jade. I'm
here for it. Love it. And speaking of love, my man,

(01:19:21):
my man, my baby and my baby and my baby,
we had this energy with Alistair Black and Zelena Vega
and shall this entrance knocked me on my butt because
what do you mean? Alistair's entrance music starts the way

(01:19:41):
it does, but then the first thing you see is Zelena,
you know, in her face, and then she bends down
and starts being all flexible and moving like a snake,
Like what do you mean? Like the gaggery was on
display here because you have Alistair walking and brooding but

(01:20:03):
then you have Selena just sort of just curving around
him like a snake, and it's just like, ooh, it
just looks like it just grabs you. It's just so
and rapturous, like what oh oh oh like ooh, it
was just really cool. I was just like Selena girl. Ooh.

(01:20:29):
The flexibility was just gagging me. I was like Selena.
But then it's like with the way she was looking
at him as she was swirling around him, I was
just like, uh, do y'all want to be alone? Do
you need to do? I need to close my eyes
because it was just giving what it needed to give.

(01:20:51):
It just gave dark, sinister love and it was just
like whoa like I just it was just really cool.
And just with the way that she was watching him
in the ring and moving back and forth and even
getting involved in a match like she used to in
NXT and stuff, it was so cool. It was almost like,

(01:21:13):
I mean this in the best way. It was like
Alistair Black was Lord Boldemort and Zelena was his Naghini.
If you're into Harry Potter, That's literally what it gave.
And it was amazing. Now, of course I know Lord

(01:21:33):
Baltimore and Nagini weren't a thing per se, but that's
just the energy that it was giving. It was just
oh the necessary evil. Loved love it, Give me more
of it. I love it, loved it. It was a sleigh.

(01:21:54):
And then we had Carmelo. Carmelo, he it's making his
presence felt Kathy Keller was really working it out when
it comes to these interviews tonight. He you know, she
asked him, you know what's going on with you in
the miss and he basically said, look, when you put

(01:22:14):
your hands on me, all bets are off. That's I mean,
I'm paraphrasing. And he said, look, you put your hands
on me. I put my hands on you. At this point,
we're even so now I'm just trying to focus on
what's rightfully mine. And then he referenced the fact that
he sees the support and the love that people are
giving him on social media and how much he appreciates it,

(01:22:36):
and that felt very genuine, like it wasn't Carmelo talking,
like it was actually you know, the real him talking.
And that felt really good because we'd be screaming your
name out here, Carmelo, like we're really we really want
him to get his things now, because it just feels
like it's been far too long in comparison to how
quickly everybody else has been going. And I just now,

(01:23:00):
of course, everybody has their own journeys, and just because
you win everything immediately does not exactly mean that you're
always you know, destined for a certain path or you
know that your work is always the best, because even
Jennifer Hudson did not win American Idol, So that's fine.

(01:23:23):
But at the same time, you know, I'm glad that
Carmelo said that in that promo and that he's ready
to prove himself and just ready to focus on being him,
and I'm glad he said that. And then in the
midst of this, kit Wilson gets in his face and
talk about toxic masculinity and stuff. But then Carmelo's like, Okay,

(01:23:44):
if you want to talk all this trash, let's fight
next week. So yeah, it's gonna be cool, but something
tell me, we're gonna see the mis try to, you know,
interfere somehow, and it's just gonna get real heated up
in here. But I was just happy to see Carmelo
get this, and I'll be happy to see him fight
Kit Wilson, but I do miss Elton Prince. I miss

(01:24:06):
pretty deadly as a collective. I need them back. So yeah,
and I think that's it. That's really all I liked
from wrestling this week. And there was one more thing
I wanted to discuss, just in terms of the mystery

(01:24:26):
of who attacked Jacob Fatu. There are a lot of
people who feel like, maybe excuse me that even though
Drew McIntyre is like the prime suspect, there are people
who think that it might be Randy Orton who did it,
And that is something I wouldn't put past him, because

(01:24:49):
he's been sneaking about things like that before in order
to get what he wants. He's not above emotional manipulation.
So we just gotta wait and see how this happens
and all the above. But wrestling this week was really cool,
and it's only gonna get cooler because of tomorrow with
