two twenty twenty three Shamrock Sportscast.Boys, this is a pretty emotional day,
to say the least. Yeah,for sure, just you know,
it was it was hard to thinkabout how how this year would go.

And I know we kind of talkeda little bit about this last episode,
but the fact that we have alreadywinded down to this point is it's pretty
It's it's fun, like it's crazythat we're already here, but it's also
pretty emotional at the same time.You know, been been such a fun
ride, and today we hope toto sort of just you know, have
some fun with it. We're justgonna talk about a bunch of controversial,

random sports takes, basically anything thatyou could hope to find in a last
episode. We're gonna be there tohave a good time. You might you
might hear some yelling at each other. Yes, so all right, first
question, who's better? Pretty?Where are you? We don't know the
answer to that. I think itwas established in both meetings this year.
Yeah, um okay, Aiden secondsthat in the March Madness Tournament. I

still haven't gotten over that, andI don't think I ever will get over
that. But hey, next year'sor new year, Zach Eadie might come
back. I hope he doesn't getdrafted. He's literally getting projected the last
pick of the draft. That wouldbe so depressing as a Purdu fan.
If he gets picked last. Iimagine he goes the whole draft without going
and then the last pick, thelast pick, Oh my gosh. All
right, and it's not like hecan get like drafted and and um released.

Like if he gets drafted at all, he's he can't go back to
He tried to maintain his eligibility.He did, so if he doesn't get
drafted, he's probably going back.Well yeah, because and there. I've
also heard that they're trying to gethim his citizenship so he can get more

my first question. If Zach Edydoesn't get drafted, he plays another year

at Perdue, wins National Player ofthe Year, does all this stuff,
does his draft stock rise or fallbecause of his age? That's a good
question. I would say I wouldsay rise, because we talked about this
a little bit before we started recordingwith Yokichen the voter fatigue thing, yeah,

where you know, you don't wantto pick the same guy two years
in a row. But if he'scapable of winning two years in a row,
it means he must have gotten substantiallybetter in some asset of his game,
whether that's shooting, whether that's ifhe helps a three point shot,
you know, athleticism, pick androll defense, like whatever that is.
He gets better at one of thosethings, he's gonna, i think,

definitely jump up the boards. Andfor sure, even though like it still
is only a year difference in age. Yeah, you know he's not going
to jump into the first round oranything, but you know, just being
able to pick a guy who hasdone it at a high level in the
highest level conference that proven his plays, Yeah, exactly. So I'm loving
those zachd Love. I'm just eatingmy trick flayer. I mean, actually,

I mean, obviously he's a goodplayer, there's no denying that.
But it's just like obviously his besttrades is hight. He can finish around
the rim, he's a good roomprotector. Only issue is he's a little
slow. But you know, he'sa little he's a little inconsistent around the

rim. Sometimes there's like a couplehooks or putbacks that he shouldn't make that
he misses. And I think NBAcoaches will look at that and see and
say, like, we can improvethat, and he could we get drafted
this year. I'm not really it'sso close like there is it is fifty
fifty. There's no telling what willhappen with a guy like Zach Eady and
as tall as he is. Youcan't not favor him in some aspects.

I mean, you can work onspeed, you can work on if they
want him to cut weight, hecan cut weight. U But it really
comes down to how much trust thatthey have and Zach and form. Let's
just say he does win the NationalPlayer of the Year next year, despite
voter fatigue. Two time National Playerof the Year back to back years.
As you said, you're clearly doingsomething right in terms of scoring and stuff.

So I think teams would have totake that into account. If he
doesn't win National Player of the Year, it has a little bit of a
down year he might get he's screwed. Yeah, I was about to say
he's probably done for but I hopethat's not the case. I hope he
doesn't get drafted this year comes backto Purdue, has another National Player of
the Year year, and hopefully hegoes late first round, late first,

late first. You never know ifthere if there's a teams, like if
you're like the Pistons or something,and you obviously I don't think this year
they're gonna get Lemon Yama. Butno, you need and you need some
height and you need some guarantee points. Just Zach's that guy. I mean,

just to give a simple answer,I would say his stock would probably rise.
He would still probably be like amid to late second. But yeah,

over like the week one schedule forthe NFL. Oh, I mean,

You're Sam's the Titans fan, andI'm a Barrious fan. So we
all have different different teams here.So this is gonna be interesting, all
right, first game starting off hotwith a really underrated team and a kind
of overrated team, the Lions andthe Chiefs. Okay, which one's which,
Who's over Who's over Kansas City's home, Who's would like who's underrated?

Who's over? Oh, underrated asthe Lions overrated as the chief Man,
I think it might be the otherway around. Okay, the Lions are
a little overrated. Okay, yeah, they they got almost a five hundred
record last year, coming off ofa terrible year year prior. But the
Chiefs just came off of a SuperBowl. Patrick Mahomes. You could put

Patrick Mahomes with a middle school widereceiver corps and he would go and he
would beat the Lions. That's crazy. I don't know. I don't think
it is. Patrick Mahomes. Bythe end of his career, it doesn't
matter how many rings he has onhis finger, he will be the greatest
quarterback of all time. He's moreskillful and has more ability than Tom Brady,

especially with how the game's developing.I'd say that's only a little far
fetched. How many a little bit? How many? He has two super
Bowls so far, right, correct, and he's been a full three or
four. He lost to Tampa andhe lost to No. No, he's

five years of being a starter,three of the times he's went to the
Super Bowl. Two of them.He's one. That's nuts. Now that
now that you say that, like, if he can keep it up,

short to found a ton of success. But Wilson is such a more filled
out figure, right. Young isskinny, and we saw that last year

he's in trouble, Whereas Wilson couldsustain that just because he was filled
out more. He's thick. Yeah. Um, next game that we've got

going on, Bengals at Brown's.There's no really competition here. Charlie John's
gonna have a two hundred and eightysix yard day, two touchdowns, five
catches. Let's go with the Bengalshere. Um, although even though it's
in Cleveland's Deshaun Watson is like stilllike kind of unproven after his whole incident.

Um, Nick chub Mariy Cooper shouldbe traded. He does not deserve
that. Yeah, but like behindAmari Cooper, the Browns have no wide
receiver depth. The Bengals have literallyall the wide receiver depth in the world
and added some good defensive pieces.I think there should be no brainer.
I think the Bengals will take thatone. Bengals are a Super Bowl favorites.

Let's not forget what happened last yearwith the Bengals. Though started off
oh and two, did not lookvery good. Remember that Week one game
against Pittsburgh. Oh my gosh,Burrow through four picks. Yeah, something

Speaking of division rivals, Week one, Jaguars at Colts. This is the
lowest ticket price or ticket prices ofany game, Um, this and this?
Do you think that is this Weekone? I don't know, probably
because two under performing franchises going atit. It is in Indie. So

if I'm not if I'm not upat ball State by this time, or
if I have like an off day, I'll certainly be at this game.
But you're wrong. I think thelowest is the one below it, which

Colts will win this one. AnthonyRichardson and Josh Downs that connection will be

which I feel like we need tobuild up just a little bit more um.
But yeah, I feel like it'sa really easy win. We can
win against the Jaguars at home,but in Jacksonville we just can't do it.

but the ceiling of a party building. Yeah, but if he plays

Trevor Lawrence has proven himself taking abig jump last year leading the Jaguars from

a terrible season prior to a divisiontitle. They add Calvin Ridley, Travis
Etn took a bid big leap lastyear. I don't really see the Jaguars
and I don't really see a scenariowhere the Jaguars lose this except for if
Anthony Richardson just completely balls out,which he could. You never know.

Richardson here is we obviously know heloves to get outside the pocket scramble.
That was his specialty at Florida.How's that gonna work Week one against first

to bring in a guy off tendays after being cut from the Browns to
come play Week seventeen because Willis wasunable to like, he was unable to
play well. He didn't eclipse onehundred yards, couldn't eclipse fifty passing,

when Willis was going to be drafted. It was like, you know,
is this guy is he an NFLplayer? And I think that pretty easily
and quickly found out that he's notan NFL player, and uh, I
mean, and then playing like Libertyfootball not really having the best competition he

NFL hidden talent there, but youknow, obviously the big answer is you'd

probably not be ready. It's justcrazy a thing that he was like mocked
to go like six at some point. Yeah, the Titans went just so
many different directions a couple years atthe quarterback positions. Levis is looking fine
and Mini camp though, yeah hewas, he was looking fine. I
will say he will probably make atleast one start this year, Levis,

because Tannahill plug hurt, Tannahill probablyget hurt, or he'll just he might
just straight get benched. If youguys were doing that bad um, which
I really don't hope that's the casefor you, but as a Colts fan,
that would be pretty sweet. Ifyou guys were just sucking only against

Titan, and you honestly that youcould honestly with if you tank enough,
you could get enough draft capital towhere you can trade back and you don't
really need a quarterback and you canjust trade back from the one and get
