I mean, just what was thatlike? Bring the heat? I know
our predictions wasn't you know, anywhereclose to what it is. I think

we went into the game thinking thatwe were just gonna win. That's also
what Gilbert thought. We you know, going into the game thing that we're
gonna win. Obviously, it camedown to a two point conversion during halftime,
so over time over Oh yeah,I don't know, we're talking about
bait hey yeah, LC. They'rea good team. Uh they're not.

There's not a team that should belooked down on their offenses. And they
were definitely less just more sorry morejust win than we thought it was last
year. They just weren't just winningat all. My Duff though. I
mean we knew he was good,but in this game he had what was
it three or four touchdowns? Imean he was unreal. Bryson Luter,

he was unreal as well. Imean they they've got quite the team on
offense, for sure. I meanthat shouldn't be looked down upon. I
mean we put fifteen nine points,they put fifty eight points. I mean
it was a battle of offense.Defense was pretty much non existent from both
ends of from both teams really,so it was, you know, a

game that I honestly wish that forWHS Sports Live. I wish we were
broadcasting that game because that would havebeen unreal to call. But I have
to we have to talk about Jackson. Gilbert. Absolutely that had that Legit
might have been the best performance froma Westfield quarterback. Ever. I think
it's definitely in the conversation. Yeah, people are still gonna say Melvin's better

than Burt. I mean I haven'tseen Olvin play, so you know what,
maybe he might, but I meanBert deserves respect, and I mean,
really, Gilbert, he's just whatwas that seven combined touchdowns in the
LC game. That's unreal. Imean he's four Russian touchdowns. Yeah,

because people doubted the mobility and he'sshowed that he had sixteen carries against Elsie.
I mean they're proving, I guesswith a play calling that they trust
him to use his feet. AndI like how he's also spreading the love
equally to Gabe Bow and Parker andMax. I mean they've all caught They've

all caught a touchdown this season,so he's spraying the love equally and I
think I think that's great for theentire receiving corps and Jackson Gilbert so far
this year is looking like because therewas a quarterback battle going into the year,
it's looking like that that quarterback battle, it really shouldn't have been much
of a battle. But honestly,but to be fair, we haven't seen

Melvin play yet, so I'm notgoing to go that far yet. But
Gilbert looking great. He does lookreally again. And moving on from that
though, it was quite the game, but a lot of weird plays happened,
like the one play going into theIt was the beginning of the third
quarter where it was DeMarcus Cole forelse they tackled him, but then he

gets up and runs for a touchdownthat had to be one of the weirdest
plays in Westfield history, right.I mean, I don't think he went
all the way down, but somebodyhad gotten down. He rolled over them
and kept running. Everybody thought thathe was and so everyone just stopped look
over and then he was running touchdown. I mean, from what I've heard

from guys on the team, they'rethey're like, yeah, his arm,
his elbow was down, and hiselbow was down, his knee was down.
I'm like, I'm like, ofcourse you're gonna say that. But
it also comes down to I guessI can't really speak on it because I
wasn't right there on the field tosee. It looked like he was down,

but he just gobbed and ran andit shocked me. I was I
was like, what is he doing? I thought I thought for sure he
was down. I looked away fromthe television that I looked back and he's
running. It was a very weirdthing. But also speaking of weird plays,
just fourth and the fourth quarter ingeneral was very back and forth.

It was just you score, youscore, you score. And then one
play in particular, Bryson Luder throwsa pass. It gets tipped, but
Jack Jordans for Elsie is right behindis right behind him, gets the tip
pass and runs it in for atouchdown. What was the reaction on the

sideline from that play? It wasn'tgreat? I mean obviously, I mean
guys have to call it just feellike yeah, I got it, and
it's just like you gotta have thatchemistry. And also like, uh,
it was like blatant p I like, right before that, I think one
of our quarters like should the rosyrick right in the back? So I

live in PI either way, ButI don't know. I will have to
say obviously that game wasn't the bestthat we've seen from my defense, I
can guarantee that. But it wasalso great focus from a Jack Jordans to
have the focus to see the ballgetting tipped in then catch it for the

touchdown. So I have to givehim props for that. Good players,
really good players, Oh totally yeah, especially on the offensive event. I
mean we mentioned in episode one thatagainst IAT they louder through what was it,
five different touchdowns to five different receivers. I mean they have a very

stacked offense and it's all led bya mod Duff. I mean last year
he went off against Westfield this yearhe went off against Westfield. I mean,
how do you even game plan againstthe guy like a mod Duff who
can be very effective in the receivinggame and in the rushing game we saw
in the Jet sweep. Yeah,so usually like players like that, like

you gotta take away and nod thefield, like SE's probably gonna run the
seams and like in the flats,so you gotta take away that. But
then I mean all the other seriesthat they have, you know, it's
hard because they also have like studson the outside too. Yeah, So
I mean it's just hard a gameplaying for him. But I mean,
yeah, obviously he's a great player. He's hard a game play for.

But we have we have we haveto talk about next week, week or
this week actually Westfield going up againstZionsville. I mean Westfield their history against
Scienceville clearly, of it's been veryone sided the past decade. Westfield with
a big winning streak over Zionsville.But this Zionsville team starting the year out

two and zero, and obviously thebig name is Eugene Hilton and Luke Murphy
is coming in at quarterback. Hewas the full time starter his sophomore year.
Last year he was not the fulltime starter, but this year,
so far on the year against Pikeand Lebanon Lebanon, he has thrown three
touchdowns to three I N T s. I mean, I mean, what's

the mindset going into this game togame plan against Luke Murphy. Definitely the
game plans to get takeaways. Ithink that's the main part since he's done
three options like, yeah, gameplan for like takeaways, like takeaway,
like discuss coverages like run like Idon't know, like cover two or something,

and yeah, we gotta get takeaways. Wouldn't takeaway battle we win,
like if we windn't takeaway battle onthe game and win like our games.
So I always it's hugely get takeaways. So that's why the main goal I
think it we just have to onboth sides of the ball just be focused
discipline because uh, like coach Gilbertsaid it, it would make their whole

season to beat us, and they'regonna try their best to you know,
knock that ten and oh streak againstus, and while we're trying to make
it eleven. So we uh,as an offense and defense, gotta stay

the winniged Scionsville. But Eugene HiltonI wanted to get into next. I
mean, obviously that last name holdsa lot of value. Son of NFL
legend t Y Hilton, and quitefrankly, Eugene Hilton. He lives up

to the name. Last year againstWestfield, he had a touchdown, nine
receptions I believe, one hundred,one hundred forty four yards. I mean,
Eugene Hilton is absolutely a dog.I mean, but last week against
Lebanon, he had a touchdown andthen he and the ends up. Yeah,

then he catches the ball and goesright into the pole gets knocked out.
I mean, that's hope that doesn'thappen this game. It was he
was running, you know, hejust wasn't looking and right right into the
pole. You gotta give props tohim though, I mean he got hit
pretty hard and still hung onto theball. So my point here is you

can let not let necessarily, butEugene Hilton can have a big day,
but you can still win the ballgame, which is what happened last year,
and I think it can honestly happenagain this year. Cole Ballard went
off last year against Scienceville, andthis year, I think with Westfield,

I think you have to go backto the run game again. Kendall Garnett
last week, it was a verybalanced attack now that I think about it
from last week. But Kendall Garnettlast week forty two carries one hundred eighty
eight yards and then the game winningtouchdown, game winning two point conversion.
And also Kendall, he was doingit all while he was cramped up.

I mean, what an absolute warrior. Speaking of injuries, I'm going back
to the last game. I thinkit was very interesting how the other team
had like so many injuries there atthe very end. And how did you
guys feel every time you saw anotherperson go down. Do you think that
was like on purpose from the otherteam. Yeah. Uh, they they

did it to, you know,to slow down our momentum when we They
mostly did it when we were makingthese long drives and we'll get to the
red zone and I think we're like, I forget what the percentage was from
red zone, but they were everytime we went down to the red zone
you've just seen someone just go togo to the ground for a cramp.

Yeah. Yeah, so, uhat first it was annoying, but then
uh, coach Gilbert was like,let them do it, but we're still
gonna win this game, and wewon. Yeah. Absolutely. I actually
I really didn't even think about thinkabout that. I yeah, I've never
really thought about that possibility, butyeah, it makes it makes sense.
I mean, slow down the momentumthat you guys were having, especially on

that final drive. Yeah, yeah, it does make a lot of sense.
But going back to Zionsville last year, they did lose thirty five to
ten to Noblesville and round one ofsectional and like you, like you mentioned,
it would make their season to beatus. And right now currently in

the h c C everyone is twoand oh except for Avon, they're owing
two. I mean this, Imean, this is this Zionsville team.
With the way the h CC islooking, they could be a team that
could compete later on. So Iguess obviously we've dominated against them the past

decade. But has the mindset atall changed going into this game like for
us? Yeah, yeah, notreally, just I can't take the same
approach, like you know, theywant to be beat us. They want
to beat us like every year,like where they're circled game. But I

mean since they want to beat usso bad and like it brings some of
them to us because you know,they won like thirty games. We won
three before that. Yeah, SoGilbert always takes this, takes this game
to heart because he brings up thisone play that appened and it was I
think he'd put like a freshman cornerin or something. Then they like faked
a spike and then through a fadefor a touchdown. He said, you'll

never forget that, and then theybeat him ten years in row after that.
Do you think with the with EugeneHilton being in that any of our
receivers are going to be like strugglingor having like a a mindset of like,
you know, do any of themkind of look at a player and

be like, oh, this guy'sgood. Like wait, like our corners
or our receivers the receivers, well, Eugene plays the wide receivers, so
our corners should you know, Idon't know. Our corners should have a
good mindset going into the game.They shouldn't be thinking, oh, it's
Eugene Hilton oh, t Y Hilton'sson. Oh, he's good, He's

fast. I think they just alot of them have good mindsets. So
I think they should do good againsthim. If we just cover them up,
should be a good day for ourdefense. Did you did you mean
by that, like with receivers?Did you mean by that like they're comparing
themselves to Eugene, Like, likedo they feel threatened by like, Oh,
like Eugene Hilton's out here, Likeyou know, I feel like we

have better I feel like we havebetter receivers. I mean, but also
I go, I go to Westfield, I play for Westfield, So obviously
I'm gonna say that. But Ifeel like Gabe. Gabe has a lot
more talent than him. Maybe hedoesn't have the offers like Eugene does,
but I feel like he has moretalent, more discipline. It's not like
I don't I don't want to saythis, but like trio, like the

bow Braun Gabe Parker kind of trio. How does that like affect the team?
Uh? It faces the team well, because if if the on line
has great pass protection, which wedo. Uh, and Gilbert, if
you if you guys seen he haslike a lot of time in the pocket,

which means that they can the water, receivers can do a lot more
what they need to do to getopen, and we have a lot more
weapons. So absolutely, it's alot of tower and bas Yeah. And
I heard I guess from guys onthe team that Zionsville they don't I guess,

I guess they don't blitz very hard. Do you think we saw in
the New PAL game quite often anda little bit in the LC game just
how effective the play action can be. Do you think Zionsville could be fooled
by the play action? Possibly?Probably possibly a safety just gets a little
bit mixed up, thinks it's arun play, but then you run a

deep pass and play. Do youthink we could definitely do that against Zionsville?
Yeah, obviously it's Slicker loves takingshots, which I mean, I
don't have a problem with that atall, but like just calling it a
big play and get over making theright read and even though like we know
that we have receivers, I canjust go up and get it. Yeah,
like all of them can just goup and I go up and get
it. So I mean having thatconfidence as a quarterback even though he's covered

just like kind of like throw itup there. He's down there somewhere.
Yeah, just like honestly, Bubadoesn't really get the credit he deserves.
Like he does so much stuff offdoes so much stuff off the field,
Like he's so locked in a footballI feel like I sometimes I should tell
about like yo, just like pumpthe brakes a little bit, because like
there's like more to life. Yeah, and a lot of stuff that like

was worked on in summer. Iknow there was like a lot of leagues,
but like always getting after it kindof not really focused on any of
like the social aspect, just kindof focused on you know, school and
football. Yeah, he's really he'sreally changed for the better. And yeah,
I respect bo a lot. Hedoesn't really good respect deserves, Yeah,
totally bow. His role with theteam is drastically changed. I mean,

going from a guy that didn't geta lot of playing time last year
to a guy being pretty much thewide receiver two on this team. And
he's proven so far on the yearthat he has been a guy you can
rely on. Four receptions sixty nineyards and a touchdown. I mean,
Bobron is very reliable, and soit's really everyone else in this receiving corps.

This is one of the best receivingcorps and that I can even remember
in Westfield history. I mean,Gabe is a legitimate was Depez oh yeah?
And game oh yeah, and gavefreshman gave phenomenal. Yeah, Gabe
in his freshman year was I thinkhe was like what was he like a
top ten freshman receiver in the country. Oh yeah, for sure. I

think he led the team in yards. Yeah, I mean yeah, like
six hundred yards. I mean,but yeah, that was obviously up there.
But that Ian Bruck too, neverforget and Buck absolute legend. I
Buck cannot don't tell me that heruined the game for us. He's the
only reason we were even in thatgame to begin with that diving catchman stay
game. And yeah he dropped thatone pass, but like that's not Bruck's

vault. Like Bruck reason we wereeven in the freaking game. Are there
really any other players on this otherteam that you guys are like super concerned
about kind of looking out for anyanyone on the D line? Man there,
their D line isn't great. Butalso I said that last week,

So yeah, uh, if ifwe can uh just block our nose the
nose because we've always had a Idon't know what's the what's the problem,
but the past two years we've hada problem, uh with not blocking the
nose, and nose gets through theline and kills Kendall. Uh So if
we just blocked them up, well, should be fine. They're linebackers.

Like we've been playing it all weeks, the linebackers. Doesn't they barely blitz.
I think they said, like Ithink my coaches said like ten percent
of the game that they'll blitz,which isn't a lot. So if we're
just gonna worry about the D lineas much as we can, and then
we'll worry about the linebackers. ButI don't I don't think their secondaries all

that great. Their secondary last yearwas pretty good, but uh, I
don't think they'll be amazing. Andyou don't think that'll switch. I mean,
it's he just going off of lastyear. Uh. I don't know
how much returners that they have fromlast year. But again, they're not
a team that should be knocked obviously, like you said, they're two and
oh yeah, they shouldn't be knockedthere in the ACCU. So it's gonna

be a good game. I can'treally say a lot because I said a
lot last weekend. It was fiftynine fifty eight. So I'm gonna keep
my mouth shut and then just play. I mean, to be fair,
I think all of us need tokeep our mouths shut. I mean,
I think, what was my predictionthere was like thirty eight to thirty yeah,
thirty eight seven? Yeah? Yeah. I worried about that undefeated season

been some very key players who havebeen great throughout the for the defense throughout
this year. I mean Anthony Feltrinelli. He's been incredible. Twenty tackles on
the year, He's averaging like tentackles per game. I mean we've played
two games, but he's been incredible. I mean, good Vine up front,
he's been great, and I thinkthe corners they're looking for vengeance against

Eugene. Yeah, they're looking forvengeance against Eugene. Andrew Lisky, Jake
Good, they were both going upagainst Eugene and he is getting his revenge

in the state. He's a great, great leader and uh what I know
he's playing my backer now, butso his main roles TB and like,
let's set every time we're doing perimeter, which is just like screen Joel.
So it's like I don't really likea scooter or something. He always kills
me every time. I don't likegoing up gets. It's not fun,

thing I really like about Liskey twohe has experienced playing the wide receiver position,
so he has the mindset of likewhat a receiver might be thinking as
well, and like what route they'rerunning possibly. And he's also a very
tough guy. We've seen it throughoutthe past couple of weeks. He's very
tough, hard hitter, and that'sthe kind of guy I want on my

team. He's gonna have a bounceback they and also going back to my
prediction of forty thirty eight ten,Kendall Garnett is going to have a big
day yet again. I think onehundred and fifty yards is in the cards
again because I think the linebackers inthe D line. I don't think they'll
and with you right guard, Idon't think though, I don't think they'll

be able to catch up. Ithink Kendall's gonna have a huge day and
it's going to be a run heavyattack. So yeah, thirty eight to
ten is my prediction. Yeah,before you were talking about with Andrew Lisky,
Like, I think it's really importantto like a lot of the players
as well, always saying to haveleaders, people who are good on and
off the field, and you canjust see that a lot with Lisky and

a lot of the other players.But I agree with you that Kendall Garnette
one of those players. Honestly,he's as as much as he's not a
senior, but he's still a reallygreat leader on and off the field,
and I think he's Yeah, Ithink he could definitely go above yea to

really one main guy, so Ithink you know they're gonna come attack,

but like they don't have one mainguy like Westfield's, like they're all one
person like Westfield's DS, Like they'rejust great all around. So I think
Zionsfield's gonna make adjustments and try tofind that main guy against But like Tristan,
I don't think Tristan's letting anybody in. All right, hey, no,

Let's talk about girls golf, andI mean, it's been quite the
week. I mean, we haveto talk about just how incredible this girl's
golf. We have to go backto Sam Brown in the Hall of Fame
Classic gone this Saturday, hole numberfour, hole in one. She at

the Hall of Fame Classic. Iforgot I forget the location anyway, Yeah,
hoh, hole in one. Imean she's been Her and Addie Coy
have really been, I guess,just incredible for this Westfield golf team,
and they've been one of the bestin the state. They also competed on

Monday and had a pretty good performance. So this girl's golf team is honestly
girls golf. Every year it seemslike they are one of the best teams
in our school. But this yearthey look great. All right, moving
on, let's talk about soccer.Boys soccer, and let's go back to

last Wednesday. If you heard thebell, maybe you didn't. Let's go
back to last Wednesday. Let's talkabout Oliver Church. Church header to win,
Yeah, game winner against Franklin Central. Talked about that a lot,
and I mean Oliver and even afterthat, he had a hat trick performance

against Northwestern on Saturday. So fourgoals in the past week for Oliver Church,
and he's really brought Westfield back fromthe dead starting the year out oh
and two. I did not knowthat. Yes, I would say back
from the dead. I mean,oh and two to start the season.
It's not the it's that was reallydramatic. That was very dramatic on my

part. But oh and two tostart the year, it's not the best
start. But I think since thenthree and two, I mean, Oliver
Church has been the man. Fourgoals he shout at Church. Yeah.
And also then you also have guysbrother brother connection. Yeah, you also
have guys like yeah yeah with Benalso guys like Ellis Nickel Oliver Smith who

are also you know, providing thescoring for Westfield. So yeah, boys,
soccer is definitely looking pretty good,especially with Oliver Church playing the way
he's playing. And I also dowant to talk about I want to talk
about girls volleyball and the Yorktown Classicover the weekend, and how it started

off not great. They lost theBelmont, who ended up winning the entire
Yorktown Classic, and then they lostthe FWCL. But then after that they
really picked it up. A twonothing to win against Crown Point and then
a two nothing win against McCutcheon.But unfortunately they finished at the fourth in

the Yorktown Classic. But still,I mean, they started off not so
hot, then they bounce back lateron. Chloe's suit take has been incredible.
She's really been, I guess,a main, a main key player
for this Westfield team so far.I believe throughout the entire day she had
a combined twelve kills and the twoin the two wins. So Chloe's suit

take has been incredible. Absolutely keephearing her name come up like she's just
on top of things. Yeah,I know, we talked about her all
the time on the Westfield Sports Show. But let's go in and talk about
I guess move on from school sportsand I'm gonna give you all a question
around the room about the national landscapeof sports tonight, I guess Thursday night,

at the time this recording, wehave college football. My floor of
the Gators going up against Utah,it's gonna be great. If I want
to ask you a question, ifyou any player NBA, NFL, MLB,
college football, college basketball, whatever, is there a player I guess
who's a player in your opinion thatif you wanted to take their career and

start it all over. You feellike they had the talent but then something
went wrong. Who's that player?Like all time, all time, could
be any any sport. I gottathink about this here. I'll go first
of while you're thinking, and forme, I'm gonna go with probably my
favorite athlete of all time. I'mgoing to the NBA with this one.

I'm going with Danny Granger. I'mgoing to use Lewis School. Yeah,
another legend right there, But noDanny Granger. People forget. At one
point he was him and Durant.People were debating who would you rather have
him or Kevin Durant. When KevinDurant was first coming into the league.

Oh totally Danny goer. But peopleforget, this guy was averaging twenty six
a game, is like a twentyfive year old and before the injured he's
he was. He was an allstar level player player quite frankly, and
he was unfortunately playing on a prettybad team as his co star was Mike
Dunlevy and dun Leavy. I mean, no, no disrespect whatsoever, but

you gotta have a better number two, Danny Granger if it weren't for the
injuries, which the injuries started comingand then Paul George took his spot as
