getting a bounce back win over Avonthirty eight to fourteen. And the one
thing that really stood out to mewith Westfield I think was Jackson Gilbert's performance
quite frankly, fourteen for twenty two, two touchdowns, had that sixty seven

yard bomb to bo Bron. Whatwas your biggest takeaway from Jackson's performance.
I've just had a great game,bounce back game, but yeah, it
was good for his confidence. Sothat's a great game. Yeah. I
think it was a great game becauseespecially going up against Fishers, who's tough,

but not like Brownsburg tough. SoI think it's a great Browns back.
And he's confident. Oh yeah,Jackson Gilbert, I mean he's already
a very confident guy. And wegot home, was playing the drums and
I mean, Jackson Gilbert, veryconfident guy. I've always respected that about
him and his poise, especially inthe pocket, both on and off the

field. In the pocket, verypoised and avon. Though, let's just
talk about Mason Reynolds his performance theirquarterback. Thirteen for twenty one, one
touchdown, one interception, Very pastheavy. Team definitely could have been worse.

teams on it. That might havebeen the biggest marginal of las Sex brave
on or no. Oh. Yeah, I mean that definitely makes a lot
of sense put up, like there'stwenty eight to fifty or something. Yeah,
And the one thing I want tobring up Colton Vonder saw had an

unreal performance. He had two sacksin the game, and I believe tackle
wise he had fucking pull it uphere, I guess. Oh, and
then he also had six total tackles. An incredible performance from Colton Vonder sar
and as far as tackles go,really everybody was like kind of spreading the

love when it comes to that.There was pretty much everyone was getting in
on that. And Drew Law withten tackles, I mean he's been Yeah,
he's been unreal this year at MicahWebster obviously with twelve I mean,
Mike, I would not be shockedif Micah had double digit tackles every game
this year. I mean, he'sbeen unreal this year. But the main

thing I want to get into isFishers coming off a twenty nine to twenty
three win over Franklin Central five andtwo on the year, Westfield looking for
their fourth straight win over Fishers.What have you seen from them on tape?
That like really pops that like outto you. I mean, they're

really tough. I mean they onlyreally play two coverages. Do you know
any of what coverage? Oh anyof their coverages? Do anything like about
like coverages? Yeah? Yeaheah.So they play a lot of cover three,
so that's where the corners fail.And then there's one high safety Cover
three three man yeah yeah yeah.And then they put a lout of Cover

eight, which is just like manlike the corners play man and the safeties
are they're both back and aren't thesafeties like that their safeties aren't? They
like a bit smaller too, alittle bit they everyone small corners like five
eight. But he's pretty good though. Oh number it wasn't number two.
They did number two. Actually,yeah, yeah, they're pretty solid on

defense, and obviously they've had somegood wins. They wat say, HFC,
if I won, probably they probablyshould have won that game, but
it went to overtime. Yeah,I mean, and like you mentioned,
so I you talked about man coverage, I guess with the corners. Do
you think you're in the wide receiverroom. It is the mindset going into

this, like win your matchup.Oh yeah, for sure, it's what
it is every week, nail doit's run skinning report. Yeah, obviously
when your mashup, dominate, makeit, make every play you can.
And that perimeter blocking is a hugething. My premier blocking goes under the
radar, but it's really important becauselike if you can't buck and safety,
they're exactly every time. Oh totally. So yeah, perimeter blocking has been

the key aspect every every game andgoing into Fisher's the guy I want to
talk about is their quarterback Bennett Gorrak. And Gorrak right now in the year
has thrown eleven touchdowns four interceptions.They didn't enter the stats from last week.

I'm sure he has more of eitheror and quite frankly, Gorrak first
full year as the Varsita starter,he's looked pretty good. What's your biggest
takeaway from Gorrak? I mean,just by like what you've heard about him.
I haven't heard much about him.I'm not gonna I don't really play
defense, so I mean if he'seither be five to two and two losses

too, like the best teams inthe state, then it's pretty good.
Yeah. He has eleven touchdowns andfour interceptions, so I think if you
can bring the pressure, it candefinitely make more interceptions happen if we can
bring the pressure on them. Ohyeah. And the one thing I want

to bring up though with is hehas has not had a game all year
where he's thrown over twenty five passes. I believe. I think they're more
of a run heavy team. Obviously, that's what you expect from the HCC,
but it's not like a terrible likea one sided kind of thing.

There's more balance there. But stillthey like to run the ball more,
and I don't blame them. Iyou commit running back Kobe Martin over seven
hundred yards, twelve touchdowns, andseven yards per carry. I mean,
the guy's great and it kind ofreminds me, though I hate to be

this way, kind of reminds meof having to deal with Garrett Cheryl a
couple of weeks back with Brownsburg.I guess, other than like stacking the
box, what should be Westfield's Iguess mindset of stopping the run this time
around, which I think going intoBrownsburg they were doing very well. I
don't know what happened against Brownsburg withGarrett Cheryl, but quite frankly, I

guess, how do you stop aguy like Kobe Martin. I mean,
they got another assignments. There's multipletimes where I could safety was outside conten
and then they run a ton ofoutside so yeah, yeah, and then
he bounces outside for a touchdown.That happens a lot in the game.
So he's gotta know your matchup,gotta be disciplined option. You gotta know

that he's their number one option.Yeah, we'd much rather have their quarterback
run the ball. Oh yeah,then because their quarterback go rack. I
believe he's whenever he takes off,he's averaging about seven yards, which you
might think that's a lot, butfor a quarterback, not not really considering
that he's carried the ball thirty ninetimes. So I guess I just want

to get your opinion on this.How do you stop a guy like Kobe
Martin. I mean, we sawon the Brown for a game that we
just couldn't stop Garrett, So Ithink we have to have a linebacker and
a safety kind of like following him, kind of just making sure he's not
getting too much open space, andwe get to kind of collapse on him.
Yeah. And speaking of the safetiesthough, that that might be an

issue. I don't know Jackson Floydhis status for this game. Yeah,
I didn't think so. Uh,Deacon Drew Law the safety, Oh yeah,
I mean Drew Law. Matthew Spencergot off an injury. I'm not
sure, but Drew Law he's beena guy I have not I did not

expect going into this year for himto be what he's been. I mean,
he's just been unreal this year.I mean especially, I mean tackling
wise, he's been everywhere. Ibelieve he even has some tackles for loss
too. I mean he's been great. And then you know, diving on
fumbles. I mean he's been doingeverything this year for this Westfield team.

And the guy is also very quick. And that's what you expect. I
mean last year with baseball on thebaseball team, they use him as like
a pinch runner and like whenever,like Nick Alm, they're our catcher at
the time. Whenever like he wouldget on base, which was pretty often,
the guy was very disciplined. Theywould put Drew Law in there,
and Drew Law would take off.I mean he's very quick, and he's

very intelligent too, because he hadto be very intelligent to be a pinch
runner, to know when to goto second base. But we're not talking
about baseball. That's not until likeMarch. But now Drewa is studding like
he gets injured a lot. ButI remember his first time coming back from

practice, he had how only mhe tackled everyone to the ground. Wow,
it's like what It's not like he'sthe biggest kid in the world either.
I mean, that's kind of whya lot of people counted them out
in a sense. But he's beenyou know, everything and more. Now

with Fisher's they're middle linebacker and alsoan edge rusher. I want to talk
about these are like they're two keydefensive players for them. Carter Imes their
middle linebacker. They say he onlyhas forty four tackles, that's not true.
He definitely has more nine TFLs.That's crazy tackles for loss and for

a middle linebacker, three sacks ispretty good. And just on the scouting
report, I know you're an offensiveplayer, so you know you know more
about Carter Eimes than a lot ofpeople. What have you've been told about
Carter Eimes throughout this week? Obviouslyhe's a great player. Yeah, I

know more about their Sami backer becauselike going against oh yeah, I mean
they're Sam's a good player, isnot very physical, but their bandit who
like puts off he has in dend. Mostly he's really physical and he's
a great, great player. Likehe blitzes a lot. Blitz his a
lot in the begend. That's whyit's a lot of sacks. Yeah,

he scrapes over the top pretty faston the outside run. So he's a
physical player and he likes to blitz. Yeah. And then it also doesn't
help that you got Brady Wolf thereat edge rusher who has also has nine
tackles for loss in three sacks.But for the middle linebacker to be doing
that much work in the backfield ispretty impressive. Even if he, like

you mentioned, even if he doesblitz a lot, it's still very impressive.
Now, this Fisher's team, veryhigh scoring offense. I believe they've
scored over forty points three times thisyear and their lowest amount of points was
against a with twenty one. Imean this is going to be, I

think a high scoring matchup. Andlet's get to our official score predictions.
Anyone can begin. I'm gonna goforty. Do my math, quay,
I do forty thirty five Westfield ontop. Wow, So you're expecting a

very high, high scoring on bothsides, close battle. I'll go I
think Westfield this is a team thatlast week got the ball rolling on offense
after only pulling up seven points againstBrownsburg, pulling up thirty eight, especially
in the second half. They werejust as a unit, We're incredible on

offense in the second half and reallyin the second half of the Brownsburg game,
obviously a lot of JV on JV, they looked pretty good. And
this Westfield team, I think they'vebeen a second half team all year and
I think I could definitely see Fishershaving a first half lead over Westfield,
but that's not gonna last very long. Give me Westfield same amount of points

as last week. Give me thirtyeight to twenty eight. I was thinking
twenty eight, thirty five, twentyeight. That's fair. Now, before
we get into our final topic,let's get some other sports that I wanted

to mention. Obviously, girls golf, we have to bring it up final
time this year. We're gonna bringit up here because there are season's over.
And Sam Brown, your individual girlsstate champion, had a score of
sixty eight in round one, ascore of seventy three in round two.
She's been everything and more everything thatyou could expect. She's been that committed

to Purdue for a reason, andshe's been incredible. And Addie Coy,
people don't even think about how greatshe performed. Seventy three tied per second.
I think it was the first timesince nineteen seventy six. I think
that two teammates were first and second. But unfortunately Carmel ended up taking home
the team championship. So that wasI guess interesting how that panned out for

Westfield. I mean, as ateam, they performed very well, especially
with Coy and Brown, and SamBrown had quite the career here at Westfield.
Now that it's coming to a close. And we look back on that
boy soccer losing to Carmel in thesectional. It's rough. I mean,
it was a very up and downseason. There were times where there was

a little If they were more consistent, I think that would have really helped
them in the long run. Whenthey actually did hit that wave, though
they hit it pretty well, Imean, the scoring would come in bunches,
and like Faith Christian last week,they had multiple different guys scoring goals
like Ellis Nickel, Oliver Oliver Church. What am I saying, Yeah,

Oliver Church and yeah, I meanthis Westfield soccer team. Church. He'll
be back next year, Oliver Church, I believe. I believe so,
and the future is bright. Andgirls volleyball sectional draw came out playing going
up against Zionsville. That will bean interesting matchup girls volleyball another team.

I wish that they hit that wavea little bit more and they were I
guess a little bit more consistent.That's the one thing I would say.
And now the one thing I wantto talk about is we'll get to our
final topic. MLB playoffs. Atthe time of this recording, we're getting
into the division series and in thewildcard round. Every single series was a

sweep. I mean that's wild.So give me your World Series and your
winner starting with anyone World Series isBraves out of the NL. They're NL,
right, yeah, Hey, giveme Braves out of the mL and
give me the the Astros. Arethey a wow? And your winner Braves?

Wow? I mean, you knowwhat, that's wild. That's my
exact same prediction. I would normallypick my Dodgers quite frankly. But the
issue with that is, you know, pitching is our issue. We have
Clayton Kershaw at our number one,which is good. Then you get to
number two, Bobby Miller or rookienot good enough. Number three Ryan Pepio

Westfield legend not quite. I meanhe's he's good, he's good, but
number three in the playoff rotation notquite yet. Maybe than Emmett she it
just isn't good. And Atlanta pitchinghas been pretty solid. I mean,
Spencer Strider, he's a strikeout machine. Charlie Morton has been looking great as

of late, and of course theMVP in my opinion, Ronald Acunya and
Matt Olson's also in the running.There so is Sean Murphy. I agree
with the Braves and Astros. Everyoneon the roster, Yeah, I know.
I mean Austin Riley is an absolutehome runner. Marcella Zuna has thirty
that's crazy to think about Ozuna fromthe Braves and Orlando Arcia at short stop

or second base? Sorry no,yeah, yeah, shortstop Orlando Rcia he's
been a breakout player obviously, OzzyAlbi's I mean they have a stacked lineup
and the Astros people have kind ofthem out. But quite frankly, this
team they're built for October every year, and now that they have, you

know, a first round by awild card buy, I think no one's
stopping them, especially like inexperienced teamslike the Rangers and the Orioles. I
don't expect them to really compete withthe Astros. And I agree Brazen five
quite frankly. So what's your okay? So if we y'all are having in
same protection, I'm gonna flip it. Oh I'm gonna do a rematch of

last year Astros and Phillies. Okay, I don't so you think the Phillies

Turner to the mix. And TreyTurner had a very slow start to the
year, but he's definitely improved onthat, especially in the month of August.
He really was like one of thebest players in the NLF White Franklin
