Check me out at Bella Underscore Lalla one two five.
Speaker 3 (00:33):
We are back from Lalla's little vacation and uh, you
went to Bermuda? Yep.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
I took a cruise ship. I went to Bermuda. It
was absolutely gorgeous. I loved it. It was a beautiful island.
I would back.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
So last week you were talking about not last week,
the week before you were talking about how you were
not looking forward to going on the cruise. You didn't
like boats. You're gonna get seasick. Yep. So what are
the pros and cons of your cruise?
Speaker 2 (01:09):
So I'm gonna start off with this, like, was it horrible? No?
Would I go on another cruise ship. I'll give it
one more chance. I'm gonna That's all I'm gonna say.
But as for the pros, the pros would be for
a cruise would honestly just be the ease of travel,
especially if you're going to a port like that's close
to your house. So going to New Jersey, it was
(01:32):
like an hour and twenty minutes from my house. We
just drove there. We didn't have to take a flight,
We didn't have to go to airport. We don't have
to get up bright and early in the morning to
catch a plane, go through all that. So we just parked,
got to in there. They checked our They scan your
luggage like in the airport, but you don't need to
be there for it. You go through whatever carry on
(01:53):
the same kind of thing, like you go through the
carry on place and they make you put your bags through.
They take your luggage so you don't have to worry
about dragging that on the cruise ship. And they take it,
they search it themselves, and they will put it right
outside your door. So that's great, Like it's easy for
you to get your luggage. It just goes right to
your room. That's a pro. The pros you get to
see other islands without having to take flights, and you know,
(02:17):
going through all that, you don't have to go through customs.
You just get on the cruise ship. It will, you know,
take you to the different islands and then you get
off and you get back on. What else? The entertainment.
The entertainment was great, there was I didn't even get
to do nearly any like all of it. There's so
much stuff going on all day because our cruise ship
had fourteen floors and a lot of the floors are rooms,
(02:39):
but like I'd say, about six of those floors were entertainment.
So every hour had something going on on that cruise ship,
and you couldn't do it all. You couldn't get to
all the shows. So someone who likes the entertainment, that's great.
What else? What else?
Speaker 3 (02:52):
What else?
Speaker 2 (02:53):
The another positive, everyone is like amazingly nice, even at
the poor when you're getting on the cruise ship going
through security, you're used to airports. Airports everyone's nasty. So
I liked that that everyone at the port was really nice,
really friendly, really helpful. It wasn't stressful. And then on
the cruise ship, of course everyone was really nice. They
(03:16):
clean your room every single day, which is great. Some
resorts don't do that anymore, and they just they really
cater to you. Your you have your own like maid
that I don't want to call them a maid, but
they take care of everything for you. So every day
that he would come into or he'd see me out
in the hall, he said, good morning, miss Lauren. Do
you need anything today? Do you need ice for the baby?
(03:37):
Do you need milk for the baby? Like they were
really on top of that. So I loved that aspect,
whereas in a resort or hotel sometimes you don't you
don't know who's cleaning your room. You don't, they don't
talk to you, you know they.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
Yeah, it's probably a different person every day.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
Yeah, so you you know, we got to know him.
And the wait staff was amazing. And cruise ships they
they take workers from all over the world, so you
have it's like a big melting pot, basically huge, and
they have their name tag and it says what country
they're from. They were all so great. We loved our
waiter and waitress. They were amazing, and they started to
(04:11):
know because every night we went to the main dining
room at a certain time, so we got the same
table every night, and we got the same waiter and waitress,
and they were amazing. They remembered our drink orders, they
remembered certain things about the kids like Enzol wanted mac
and cheese and chicken nuggets every night, Angelina like this.
So they were so so freakin' nice. So those are
(04:32):
the positives of it.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
Was there any fights on the cruise?
Speaker 2 (04:36):
No, not that I saw no fights, No fights nothing.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
I saw TikTok a few weeks ago of a big
fight that started on the Carnival cruise.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
Probably Carnival is known for a lot of a lot
of a lot of crap. They say stay away from
Carnival cruises because of the fights, because of the drama,
because of just a lot of stuff going on there.
Oh yeah, so don't take a Carnival cruise.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
I won't be taking any cruise.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
I mean, if you're I will say, if you're looking
to party and just party, party, party with a lot
of people, Carnival cruise is definitely that. But I would
not say to bring your kids on it. I would
not say. If you're looking for a more just like
chiller kind of cruise, I wouldn't go on Carnival. Based
on the videos I've seen and all the stories that
happen tend to be Carnival, like with the fights, with
the with the issues going on with the drama going
(05:32):
on with people. So that's why I would stay away
from it. Unless I was going, like for a bachelorette
party with a bunch of girls and we wanted to
just freaking get wasted and party all day long. Then
I would go on a carnival cruise.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
Yeah, that's not me. I want to relax, you know,
sit outside on the balcony, uh not fall overboard, not
and tam. That's what I want.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
So then, yeah, you probably would like a cruise because
it's more laid back like on most of them. Now
on for the negatives. So the negatives for me would
be that you are stuck on a ship the whole time.
Now do you notice that you are? No, not really,
unless I was in my room and I was looking
(06:16):
outside the window and I'm like, oh, I can't go
outside walking. I can't go on the beach right now
because we're in the middle of the ocean. And that's
what I like to do when I go on vacation.
I'm not looking to be stuck inside. I like to
because at home, I'm working, I'm inside all the time.
On a resort, I can go to the beach, I
can walk the property, I can go see the nature
and the wildlife. So that's what I like to do.
(06:38):
So on the cruise, I kind of you were stuck
in a lot for events, for everything, unless you were
sitting by the pool, which was another negative. There was
not enough pool chairs for the amount of people on
a cruise ship. There's so many people on a cruise ship.
They get up bright and early to save chairs, and
a lot of times they did. They did have people
sitting there, so it's not like they were leaving them
unattended somewhere, of course, but they got up bright and
(07:01):
early to save their pool chairs. So I only got
a pool chair the last day I was there, so
day five or day five of my trip. Other than that,
we had to sit on the side of the pool
like there was like a little ledge there, thankfully, so
I was sitting there at my feet in the water
the whole time. So I didn't like that aspect. When
I go on vacation to a resort or hotel, there's
(07:22):
usually enough pool chairs out there and I can relax
and lay down, you know, So that was negative. The
negative also for me was just the amount of fricking
people on the cruise ship. It's kind of crazy, like
there's thousands. I don't know the exact number, so I
don't want to exaggerate, but I'm thinking there has had
(07:43):
to be at least three thousand people on the cruise ship.
Speaker 3 (07:45):
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
And you don't see them all at once because there's
fourteen floors. There's a lot, you know, going on, but
that many people, and let's say you have like a
few hundred pool chairs, you're gonna notice a difference on
the pool deck on this cruise itself. Maybe other cruises
are different.
Speaker 3 (08:01):
So there's one pool.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
It was one big pool spread like one part was
a kiddie pool, so it had like the kitty stuff
that it was ice cold, but kitty water park. And
then on there was like a wall separating it where
a stage was, and then on the other side was
the adult kind of pools and they were kind of
kind of cringey, like I don't know, they were dingy.
The cruise ship was old. It was old, so that's
why other cruise ships probably have nicer pools, bigger pools.
(08:26):
And there was only one small heated pool. And because
the water was so cold, and you know, we were
coming from New Jersey, everyone was in that heated pool,
and I have a video of it because it was
just just I get grossed out at that stuff. There
was hardly enough water in it because there were so
many people. Oh you know, you couldn't really swim. There
was tons of kids because the kids, you know, they
don't like cold water. So I didn't like that. I
(08:48):
didn't get in because I was getting grossed out by
the amount of people in the pool. The hot tubs
were awful. There was multiple hot tubs on the cruise ship.
I don't like hot tubs as it is, but when
I was cold, I was like, maybe I'll go on
a little bit. But that gross me out because they
were filled to the brim with people like just soaking
off their dead skin cells and nastiness.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
You know, yeah, hot tubs. Scz me out.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
There's public I know, it's like you're boiling the people's
nastiness off their bodies. And there's cruise ships. This is
gonna come out really really bad and people are gonna
judge me. There's like a lot of old, old people
on the cruise ships. I think cruise ships attract older
older people like old and that's fine, that's great, But
(09:30):
when a lot of them don't seem to have like
great hygiene or they had. This is one man, he
must have been like in his eighties. He had all
these diabetic sores on his legs, like you know, scabs.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
Yeah, my grandmother had them.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
Yeah, and he was in the hot tub and I'm
just thinking like, oh my god, that's just boiling his
scabs and oh I'm getting sick and nauseous thinking about
this right now. And that's not a cruise problem. That's
every hot tub problem. I'm just saying the cruise ships
tend to attract the more older generation.
Speaker 3 (10:01):
But you said it was accessible, like handicap accessible. You said, really,
actually it was very handicap accessible.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
Yeah, this cruise ship was that. That was definitely a
pro of the cruise ship. It's very handicap accessible. And
that's another reason I think it does. The older generation
likes it because there was a lot of people on
scooter those like Rascal wheelchairs, walkers. You know, there's ramps everywhere,
there's elevators for everything. So it was great. I think
(10:30):
it was good for that for anyone who's handicapped or
needs to have a walker or a wheelchair. So that
was a pro. The other negatives for me were, like
I said, the amount of people. You're only on the
island for a day and a half, so it's a
little stressful to get to leave the cruise ship. You
have to wait on this long line. They have to
scan your passport, scan your license, scan your cruise ship card,
(10:54):
and then you go out there and when you come back,
you have to go through like like almost like TSA
type thing, like they go through your carryon. They go
through everything. You go through the xtray and the metal
detectors scan everything, which is safe. I'm glad that they
do it, but again it's like a process when you're
on vacation. That's the last thing I want to do
to get to a beach or to explore a country
(11:15):
is like to go through that each time I want
to leave or come back on. And the second day
we went to the beach right next to the cruise ship.
So I went on the cruise to get something for
the baby. So I had to go through that process
like multiple times, you know, running on and get something,
come back out. So it kind of was a hassle
to me.
Speaker 3 (11:31):
So the boat doesn't leave you.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
No, the boat does docks there, you get off and
then you got to be back by a certain time.
So that's another negative for me is I don't like
to be timed. I if I'm exploring a country or
an island, I don't want to be timed. The first
day was great. We had an overnight stay so we
could stay out as late as we wanted in Bermuda,
that was great. But the second day you had to
(11:54):
be back by four, so they really wanted you back
by three thirty. And you're just constantly. All we kept
doing was looking at our watch. You're stressed because it
will leave without you and then you're screwed.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
You know.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
I don't like that, Like I'm not on I told
my husband. When I'm home with work and the kids
in school, I'm constantly on a time schedule, like I
gotta be here. You know how it is for me.
I'm always running like, oh shoot, what time is it.
I have to get the kids, I gotta do this.
I when I go on vacation, I don't want that crap,
Like I don't want to have to look at my clock.
I don't have to worry. I want to worry about
(12:24):
time or stress that stress that you get like, so
that was negative for me and the food. The food
wasn't that great. It was not horrible. I've had worse
in Dominican, like at a buffet at a resort. But
the buffet did have a lot of options, but some
of it was not good, but some, you know, some
of it was. The main dining room food was good.
(12:44):
We enjoyed that pretty much every night. You can eat
as much as you want off the menu, order whatever
you want. You can order five appetizers if you want.
You can order your meal three times. It's not going
to coss extra. That was great, But the negatives for
me with that was that I'm paying to go on
this own supposedly all inclusive cruise ship, and I had
to pay for a drink package for I don't drink alcohol,
(13:05):
but I had to get soda, like I said last time,
iced tea, the virgin drinks that wasn't included, so I
had to pay extra for that. My husband had to
pay a lot extra for alcohol. Then food is not
all included besides the buffet and the main dining room
and this pizza spot, that's all that was included. And
so the nice restaurants, the Italian restaurants, the Steakhouse, Johnny Rockets.
(13:29):
Those restaurants weren't and it was expensive, so we didn't
eat there. But I'm like, I've never gone to a
resort and was like, oh, well, we can only eat
at the buffet in this one restaurant and then everything
else is off limns unless we pay. Like, no, when
we go to all inclusive, everything is included.
Speaker 3 (13:45):
Yeah, that's how it should be.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
Yeah, So I didn't like that aspect of it. And
then I'm at the pool and they were making fresh
popcorn in a popcorn machine by the pool and I
was like, oh, well I can have I want some popcorn.
So it's a tiny little box of popcorn. I went
over there. I said, can I get popcorn? They said yeah,
They said what room are you? Which is normal. They
ask you what room you are and they write it
down or they scan your room card and they did that.
(14:09):
But that's normal even for things that are included. Come
to find out, popcorn is not included. You know, you
pay these thousands of dollars to go in a cruise
ship and the popcorn bag was not included. So that
costs three dollars and fifty cents. Not a huge deal,
but what the frig? I just we spent thousands of
dollars ago in this cruise and you're gonna nickel and
dine people for popcorn? You know, really, I'm not used
to that. The ice cream was free? Who was shocking,
(14:31):
because that's I feel like that'd be more expensive than popcorn.
But the ice cream, like soft served by the pool,
that was free. Very weird. Just as a resort girl.
This was all very weird to me. And then you
were stressing out like what am I? What's free? And
what's not free? Like I don't know, you.
Speaker 3 (14:45):
Know, yeah, that would bother me.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
Yeah, So I didn't like that. So that's negative for me,
and I'll give another cruise ship another try. This was
an old cruise ship. It was almost twenty years old,
so I would highly recommend if you're booking a cruise,
look for what year it was made, what year it
took its made in voyage, because a lot of things
were a little dingy and old, especially like the pool area.
So I'm gonna try for a newer cruise for my
(15:10):
stepmom's taking us again next year. And I just said,
let's look for a newer cruise, a bigger cruise. I mean,
bigger cruises me more people, but they seem to have
jammed a lot of people on the smaller one, so
I guess there's no way around it.
Speaker 3 (15:25):
Did anything go wrong, because every time that you go
on vacation, something goes wrong.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
Oh yes, of course, and that we always say that.
We always wait for it every vacation. We're like, what
day is something's gonna go wrong? We want to get
it over with because then we're good, you know, then
it's smooth sailing after that. So of course, in a
true a la la fashion, something went wrong and I
had to do with me. We went to this gorgeous beach,
Horseshoe Bay in Bermuda, and we were all hanging out
on the beach and you had to bring everything with
(15:53):
you because you don't have a hotel room to go
back to, like you leave the cruise. You have to
make sure you pecked everything for every situation, you know.
So we had our sneakers, we had our wallets, we
had everything. I had my wallet with me with cash,
my license, which you need or you can't get back
on the cruise ship, my room key card, all that,
and Mike didn't take his wallet. He had this under
(16:14):
waterproof thing that he had on his neck that only
fit his credit card, his license in his room caate,
it couldn't fit mine. So I'm like, ru, what am
I going to do? You know? So I wanted to
go swimming with everyone. Everyone was in the ocean, and
I was afraid to leave my wallet just in the stroller,
you know, in the in the beach bag. So I
was like, oh, I remember this TikTok hack. And the
(16:35):
TikTok hack is when you're at the beach and you
just buy some if you don't have a kid, buy diapers,
you know, or if you have a baby, take a diaper,
a clean one, put your wallet, your valuables in the
center of the diaper, wrap it up as if it
was a dirty diaper, and then put it back in
the diaper bag, or put it in the sand under
your beach blanket. So if someone tries to rob you
(16:56):
when you're in the ocean, they're gonna come across this
dirty diaper and not think twice about it. They're im like, well,
that's probably shit, you know, Like they're not going to
open it. Who's going to open a dirty diaper or
a rolled up diaper? Not me. I mean, now they
probably have seen these tiktoks and they do.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
But yeah, yeah, so this is what I did.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
I'm like, smart idea, Lala. I wrapped my wallet in
cash in this diaper, clean diaper. I put it in
her diaper bag and I zipper it up and I
put it under the stroller. Well, we're there at the
beach for like five hours, and when we go to leave,
we want to go up to the bathrooms and get
showered and all that. We go up to the bathrooms
and I want to take a shower because my husband
already did. And I said, can you take care of Jelina?
(17:37):
Can you change her diaper? And I'm going to go
take a shower. He's like, okay, cool, I'm totally forgetting
about my little hack. I did I go take a shower?
Get ready? You know, we leave, Jelina is all clean.
We get on this bus and it was expensive as
ten dollars a person to get us thirty minutes into
the next town. And our plans from there were going
to be to walk and explore and go eat in
(17:59):
this town. So we get there, it's like thirty minutes away,
and just as we're about to park. I'm just like
it just clicked in my head. Check if you have
your wallet, you know, like check that the diaper's still there,
because I'm like, shit, Mike changed her diaper. My husband's
OCD as you guys know, he's very like a neat freak,
so he's on top of things. He's not these typical
lazy men who would see the dirty diaper in there
(18:19):
and go uh and just ignore it. No, my husband's
on top of shit, you know, which is a good
thing and a bad thing, like for this situation. So
I immediately open the diaper bag and it's not there.
The dirty diaper is not there, or the clean the
clean yeah, hack diaper is not there. And I have
the sinking feeling of my stomach and I actually started
(18:40):
punching myself or smacking myself in the head because I'm
so angry at myself, and I'm pulling my hair, sting.
I'm not gonna say it, but the F word multiple times,
what's wrong with me? And I'm hitting my head and
my brother is in the seat next to me and
he's like, what's going on, what's going on? And Mike
is up you know, two seats in front of me,
and he's like, what did you do? What did you do?
(19:03):
What did you forget? Because he knew he knew, you know,
And I said, did you throw out a diaper? And
he's like and his face went white and he goes
what was inside of it? I said, my wallet, my license,
my catch and he's like, are you freaking kidding me?
And he's shaking his head, and my brother's screaming at me.
He's like, you're an EFN idiot, You're an EFN idiot, law,
(19:24):
You're an affan idiot. My brother's screaming at me, and
I'm just like hitting myself in the head because I'm
just so upset.
Speaker 3 (19:29):
There was any other people on the bus with you.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
There was a few others, and they were just like
they didn't know what to make of the situation. The
bus drivers now he's getting panicked, like what's going on?
What's going on? So he pulls over to wherever he's
gonna let us off, and my husband says, my wife,
you know, she threw out her wallet. And the guy
was so confused, like, how do you throw out your wallet?
Speaker 3 (19:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (19:48):
And uh so I didn't know what to do. This
is the stressful part is that you're in another country.
Number One, you can't just call over to that beach
and be like, because that's in America. I would have
called over to the little beach hut there and said, hey,
I threw my wallet out, But you don't have service
in another country unless you buy it, and which we didn't.
You don't have service, there's hardly a Wi Fi anywhere.
(20:08):
You don't know how to get back there. You don't
have your own car. So my husband said to all
of us, just get off the bus, sit here at
this picnic table. I'll take the bus back and I'll
go searching for the wallet. And we knew it was
a thirty minute trips, so we're like, we're gonna be
here for an hour or longer if he's looking for it,
you know. Yeah, So that's what happened. He drove, he
got back on the bus, the bus driver took him
(20:29):
back to the beach. Thirty minutes. He searched through the garbage,
and then I was like, I didn't know how to
get in touch with him. Luckily, I went to a
restaurant across the street to get Wi Fi and in
case there was WiFi at the beach, I couldn't remember
if there was, but there was one at the restaurant
up top, and my husband was smart enough to go
to the restaurant and he called me from there and said,
(20:50):
I found your wallet, and I breathe a sigh. Oh
my god, I felt so happy. I was praying to
Saint Anthony the whole time, you know that the Catholic
Saint Anthony, Say Anthony, Oh yeah, I was praying that
my sister's praying, and uh, he got the wallet. He
came back to us, but it kind of it ruined.
It ruined our you know, our moods. It was very stressful,
especially in another country. So we got my wallet. It
(21:12):
was fine, but it was funny. He said. People were
staring at him that he's this man is sorting through
a dirty trash can on the beach and then pulling
out a dirty diaper or what they assume is a
dirty diaper and opening it and putting it in his pocket.
So he's like, people probably thought I was taking baby shit,
you know, Like I was like, oh my god. So yeah,
(21:33):
that was what happened. We made the best of it.
It just we had a It took us a little
we ate. We felt better. But they're not gonna let
me live that down. My husband's like, stay off, TikTok,
don't do any more stupid hacks. I'm like, well, it
could have been a good one if I told somebody.
He's like, yeah, if you have told someone, So that's
the thing. If you're gonna do it, tell somebody.
Speaker 3 (21:53):
Well, since you were on vacation, I used the clear
light red light therapy. Oh my god. I did not
realize how bright the light was. I forgot.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
Yeah, I guess that's why she said that some people
like to use those.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
Year I goggles. Yes, so I need to get me
a pair. I can't believe that it made me feel
so relaxed.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
That's that's how I felt too from it. It just
was like a calming effect, you know, just a very
chill like I don't know, zen out, you know, zend
out to it. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:27):
Even the cat, even Leo, like he came up and
laid next to me, and I don't know if it
bothered his eyes. But yeah, I mean like I turned
it on and my mom's like, the whole neighborhood is
going to see it.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
Yeah, it's pretty bright.
Speaker 3 (22:38):
It's it's so bright you could you know, the way
it was positioned, you could see it like through the windows.
Speaker 2 (22:44):
Yeah, so you gotta be careful someone might be driving
by sail. Oh there's a red light special in that house.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
Well that's what my mom said, and she's like, you
better watch what you're doing.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
Yeah that back in the day, that used to be
a sign. You know.
Speaker 3 (22:59):
Did you check out the heart low light?
Speaker 2 (23:00):
Oh my god, yes, I love the mini, the portable one.
It is like a magnet on it and it fits
right on my mag safe of the back of my iPhone.
So I was able on my trip to film some
things with with the light. It has a little mirror
on it so you could see what you're filming too,
or like if you're holding the camera facing you, you
could see the view that you know, the phone is getting.
(23:21):
Which that was awesome. That's like really smart. But yeah,
it's great. And then we have the one in the
studio that we were playing around with, and I love
that it has the barn doors on it that kind
of it directs the light where you need it to
be and the different filters, the color lenses. I had
blue on Showana earlier. It was really cool.
Speaker 3 (23:40):
Yeah, it was. It started out green though.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
Yeah it was. It was a green one. Then I
did a blue one. I did a red one. But
when I when you play with the lighting, so you
can change the warmth of the lighting to a cool
to a warm setting. So it's gonna something's gonna look
like more led light, and then it's gonna go to
that warm old fashioned light, which you know, depending on
what you need for your photos or your video. And
then the brightness levels and it gets really bright. I
(24:05):
almost need to show up with it.
Speaker 3 (24:07):
It did.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
Yeah, So and then they have the filters so if
you want to give a new, like a different ambiance
to your photos or video. I like that too. So
that was really neat, and it's portable, charge it and
you can put it on a tripod, you could put
it on a handheld. We have it on our ring
light because the ring lights are you know, they're kind
of old school. Now I'm feeling like it's out with
the Ring Light and more towards this. So this is
(24:29):
the Hoble Light, the Hoble Light Mini we had, and
then the Harlow, the mini portable one I love, and.
Speaker 3 (24:35):
We're going to use it to film some future videos.
Speaker 2 (24:38):
Yes, yeah, I use it for my vacation than the
portable one that I take on my phone and the
other the Hoble Light Mini. We're using for product reviews
for filming our podcast, and it's been a game changer
in how our videos and photos look. So I'm excited
to play with it more because I am new. I'm
new to this, so I am learning its features and
learning the right positioning. So it's really it's a really
(25:01):
great product for creators. You don't have to be a professional,
like a creator or up to a professional. A lot
of professionals I've read use this and they love it. Yeah,
So how's your diet going with all your health issues?
Speaker 3 (25:14):
It's going okay. I guess I'm mostly gluten free and
dairy free. I han't had milk in like a month
and just absolutely like killing me. I just want like
my hot chocolate, you know.
Speaker 2 (25:28):
I know, But it's it's okay.
Speaker 3 (25:30):
I went to the doctors yesterday for a follow up.
All the tests come back fine. All the scans. I'm
going for a scan actually very soon, in a little while.
I have to leave, so we'd have to cut the
show a little short this week. But yeah, I mean
everything's come back. Fine, I'm watching what I'm eating. I'm
(25:52):
doing better, but I'm still swollen and they do not
know why. And also my sea reactive protein, I believe
it is, is elevated, which means there's inflammation in my body.
So they don't know. They really have no idea what's
going on. Maybe this cat skin will tell something.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
I'm hoping. I'm hoping.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
I have to tell you that we got these meals
in the male. They're called Eat, Clean and Go, and
they are so good. They're healthy, they're fresh, the meatpoles.
I had the spaghetti meatballs and the meatballs were really
like they were like homemade meatballs.
Speaker 2 (26:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (26:36):
And then I also had a chicken meal. It was
chicken and pasta, and the chicken was so freaking good.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
Was it tender?
Speaker 3 (26:47):
It was tender. It was like, uh, like a chicken cutlet. Basically,
it was really freaking good.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
I could my problem a lot because finding these meals
that have meat that's not dried out, and that's great that,
you know. I didn't try the chicken, but I tried
the Moho pork last night and it was so tender too.
So's that's that's really hard to do when meals that
are being reheated, you know.
Speaker 3 (27:13):
Yeah, and they're fresh. That's why I like it. And
they deliver right to your door.
Speaker 2 (27:18):
Yeah, they say that they shop, they cook, and they
delivered it right to you. They're like home cooked meals,
but they do it clean. It's a lot of natural foods.
They're not putting junk in there. If you read the ingredients,
there's nothing, nothing, no chemicals in it. It's just exactly
like if I made a meal at home. That's what
it would be, you know, like the seasonings and then
the food. No preservatives, which is great. And last night,
(27:40):
actually I came home late from a course concert. I
was so tired. It was almost eight o'clock at night
and I'm like, I'm starving. I didn't feel like cooking dinner.
Everyone else had her to read eight because I got
their late. So I opened my fridge and thankfully had
my eat clean go meal in there, and it was
the twelve hour marinated pork pulled pork with the platinols.
It's like a banana fried banana, which you know, I love,
(28:01):
and it was so amazing. I didn't use the microwave
because I'm trying to get away from that. So I
put mine in the on the stove and it came
out so good. It tasted as if like I just
made that, you know. So yeah, it's great and it's
good for me because I'm doing like the Keto diet.
I mean, I've gotten off that, but I'm dieting. So
this is a great portion control and if I wanted to,
(28:24):
if I'm doing a certain diet like the Keto, the Paleo, Vegan, whatever,
you can go on their website and customize your meal
for the week of all Keto meals, all you know,
vegan meals. All this meals will high protein, all gluten
free meals. And that's great. Because I started this Keto diet,
the hardest part for me has been prepping and finding
(28:46):
the time to prep, finding the will to prep like
I don't want to do it, and knowing what's the
right foods to use because I'm just learning all this
with Keto. So this is a great way to just
make your life easier or go online and say, okay,
I'm doing this diet and then it'll show you all
the meals that will fit your lifestyle or your diet.
(29:06):
And and it's clean eating, which is even better.
Speaker 3 (29:09):
Yeah. So their website is eat Clean to Go dot com.
If you want to order it from them, head to
our website Shawana and Lala dot com and click on
the eat Clean to Go so good And they really
are like homemade meals. So the video I did for
Musele's the hair Solution for because of my thyroid, I've
(29:34):
been like losing it so much hair. I have like
a huge bald spot h But the video is finally out.
I'm so excited so that everyone could see my hair transformation.
Now it really works, And the best part about it
was the the solution. You put on put it on
your hair like one to two times a day, morning
(29:54):
and night. I always did it at night though, and
it put me to sleep.
Speaker 2 (29:59):
It smells it's like rosemary. I don't it has like
a very uh. I don't know what's being smell.
Speaker 3 (30:04):
Yeah good, yeah, yeah, but I don't know what's in it,
but it smelled like rosemary to me. It just put
me right to sleep.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
I loved it.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
You don't see results overnight. It took me about what
would you say, six months to almost a year.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
I'd say less than that. For you, like we started
seeing some hair growth within three months and then yeah,
like to get the full blown like yeah, maybe closer
to six months.
Speaker 3 (30:30):
Yeah, yeah, so I really like it. You could check
out on my video. It's on our website and social
media pages, and we love Musli. I've used it for
my acne, when I had my thyroid issues. You used
it for a few things.
Speaker 1 (30:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (30:47):
I use the I cream. I love the I cream.
I use the body, the KP body for my arms
because I have KP, like the little tiny bumps. Sometimes
I get them in the winter and that has been
grief with that. I have the anti Asian cream from
my face that I use at night, and I've noticed
a huge difference in my skin. And it's I'm getting old.
(31:08):
There'll be forty this year, so I need all the
help I can get.
Speaker 3 (31:11):
I know. I was just thinking about that, like we're
getting really old.
Speaker 2 (31:14):
I know, I hate it.
Speaker 3 (31:16):
I'm gonna be thirty six next week, Oh my lord.
Speaker 2 (31:19):
Yep. And then it just keeps going downhill from here.
Speaker 3 (31:22):
Well it started going downhill at like twenty five. Yeah,
and that's our show. Thank you so much for tuning in.
