This week is a rollercoaster ride! Shawna talks about her frightening late-night encounter when her Vivint security system alerted her to a possible break-in, and LaLa shares her frustration over Shakira’s concert being canceled due to a crushed stage. The girls turn the focus to the fun as they attend Whoopi Goldberg’s "Whoop-Tea" launch party, rubbing elbows with Genesis Infused founders Faye Coleman and Priscilla Wynn, hip-hop artist Kosha Dillz, radio star Kiki Monique, actress Elea Clair, and director John Keller.  Despite forgetting the batteries to their mic and Harlowe light, Shawna and LaLa embrace the chaos, proving it’s okay not to have it all together.

Speaker 1 (00:00):

Lalla one two five.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
We are a little bit in a disarray today.

Speaker 4 (00:36):
My MIC's not happy, your mic.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Is not happy, the stand is not happy. At our
studio is just not happy. We had a crazy week.
We went to see Woopy Goldberg and we'll get into
that later. But last night, I finally I was so exhausted,
I said, all right, I'm going to bed early and
that way I could get sleep and catch up, you know.
So I go to bed at ten o'clock and I'm

(01:00):
and all of a sudden, the alarm goes off.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Well alarm, not your phone alarm, right, my phone alarm,
security alarm, my security alarm, and it's yelling at me.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Broken glass, broken glass in the studio, broken glass in
the studio. I jumped out of bed. My phone starts
ringing they're calling me. My mom is running down the stairs.
She's like, what is going on? What's going on? I said,
I don't know. Somebody's breaking in. So it was the
scariest thing. Long story short, there was no break in,

(01:34):
but the studio light, which has a fan it's about
a year or two old, it completely fell and broke
out of.

Speaker 4 (01:43):
The ceiling, out of the ceil fan. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Yeah, and thankfully it did not hit the soundboard. Thankfully,
it did not hit the computer, but it did crush
my mic. My mic has a big dent in its
little head there.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
So and it's a brand new mic, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
Brand new. So it seems like it's working. And think
you guys can hear me. It looks like it's working.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
But yeah, that's crazy because I my first thought was,
could you imagine if we were sitting here doing the
podcast and the fan just smashed me in the head
because I'm right under it.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Yeah, I mean, but bye, thank god nobody was in here.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Yeah, so we are doing this podcast in the dark.
We have a little side table lamp on. But it's
it's crazy. I mean, what's even crazier is that the
event picked that up.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Yeah, how the hell I don't know how they picked
it up. I don't I don't know if there's like
a censor in the window or something, or a sound
or a sound yeah me broken glass.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
So it had to have heard that sound and knew
to differentiate. Okay, this is a problem, you know.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
Yeah, that's that's amazing.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
And the weird part is is we couldn't you know,
we looked all through the house.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
We could not find come in here.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
She didn't come in here at first. And I played
it back and I said. The guy was still on
the phone and I played it back and I said, no,
something I said, there was glass broken. The guy's like,
do you want me to call nine one one? Would
you like me to call the police? And I'm like, no.

Speaker 4 (03:14):
Not yet, yeah, not yet.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Let them run out of my house.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
I mean, you guys are brave, because your mom was
telling me that she was searching around the house.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
She was she went outside. I'm like, you're creepy.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
When you watch those horror movies, you always see that
one person that's like, hello, hello, walking through the house.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
After that's her. That's your mom.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
I'm like, are you I'm When I watch these movies,
I'm like, no, one would ever do that.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
No, my mom would.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
Well, yeah, I guess so.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
And I even said to her, I'm like, what are
you doing going outside? Just a guys, just want to
see if someone's out there. I'm like, why we have cameras?

Speaker 4 (03:49):
Why?

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Oh my god, you know, and I'm like going through
the cameras and I'm like, maybe they like searched out
the house and ditched the camera, you know, and hid
underneath it or something. I don't know, but it was scary.
Gave me a heart attack. I'm so glad that my
Vince security system works.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
Yeah, that definitely works.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
And that really gives me a lot of faith that
God forbid something happened that you'd be.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
Okay as long as your mom doesn't go looking for
the murderer or the burglar. Like, what the hell's wrong
with her?

Speaker 2 (04:20):
I don't know. And it's not like she could fight
somebody out either.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
I was like, what were you gonna do if you
ran into them?

Speaker 2 (04:27):
We don't even have a bat, Like, what were you
gonna do?

Speaker 1 (04:31):
You know?

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Oh God, Well, thankfully everything was okay. My MIC's little damaged.
There's a hole in the ceiling, there's glass in the.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Carpet, there's glass everywhere everywhere, but.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
We the show must go on, and we are here
in the chaos of it, and yeah, we have a
lot to talk about, so we had to make it happen,
you know. But thank god for Vivent and that that
speaks volumes of that company and how their camera in
the living room. It wasn't even in the studio, it
was in.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Yeah room, it's in the other room.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Picked up the sound of broken glass and alerted them
and they alerted you. Absolutely amazing. We're gonna have to play.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
Or put up the video. I'm going to the glass breaking.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Yeah, I'm definitely going to because I couldn't believe it.
It was just, you know, alert after alert on my
phone and they even emailed me. That's you know, they
called me, They emailed me, they sent me alerts to
my phone and you know, yeah, got asleep.

Speaker 4 (05:30):
Well thank god. But yeah, crazy crazy night for you.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Oh yes, and you had a crazy weekend last weekend
you went to see Shakira.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
Yeah, do you guys remember I was talking about it.
I was so excited to see her. I love Shakira.
She is just my role model. I look up to her.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
She's beautiful, she's talented.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
And my husband had bought me these tickets for my birthday,
and my birthday's on Christmas, so it's been a long
time I've been waiting, and he booked a trip to
Boston because it's in Boston. So like, oh, we'll spend
a night, you know, we'll go to dinner, make it
nice without the kids.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
Well, we get there, get all dressed up for Shakira.
We go to this nice, beautiful restaurant in Boston and
we finish our food and I'm like, all right, we're
gonna walk to It was in Fenway Park, the baseball
field over there, and we're gonna walk there. Was like
about half hour walk, I think. And as we're walking
and thankfully, my husband opens his email and he's like,

(06:26):
no way, this must be a joke. This must be
a scam. I'm like what what. He's like, no, no, no,
this has to be a joke.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
Like what is it.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
He's like, Shakiro's the show was canceled. I'm like what
it goes on in in a half hour, Like, what
do you mean it's canceled?

Speaker 1 (06:40):
You know.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
He's like it says it's canceled and there's no reason
for it. Unforeseen, Yeah, unforeseen circumstances. And I'm like, I
was so upset. I just like and he immediately starts apologizing.
I'm so sorry, babe, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry.
I'm like, it's not your fault. He's like, I know,
but this was your gift. You've been so excited for it.
I'm so sorry. So I wanted to find out what
was happening. So I we walked and we passed a

(07:05):
fire department, the Boston Fire Department. And you know how
the firefighters they just always sit outside in their little garage.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
Yeah, chilling.

Speaker 4 (07:11):
So they're just chilling. I'm like, we need to talk
to them. They're gonna know.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
And they're like, yeah, the stage, the stage got crushed.

Speaker 4 (07:19):
I'm like, what.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
So Shakira's show, she always has this beautiful back their screens,
like big, big, big screens that play whatever she's showing
up there, you know, like flames or whatever that goes
with her concert. And because I've been to her concerts before,
that screen, a huge, massive screen was not hooked up
properly and it fell and crushed the stage and the

(07:43):
stage collapsed. So thank god it happened before, so she
didn't get hurt or the fans didn't get hurt.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
I wish it happened after the.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
Show, that would have been better, but yeah, yeah, it
crushed the stage, so they had to cancel her show
and then the next day's show of Jason L. D
and he was gonna be playing there. So a lot
of people were upset. A lot of fans are upset
for both sides. I was very upset. Yeah, so yeah,
that was my crazy weekend. And they haven't talked about
spoke about rescheduling it, so god knows when I'll see

(08:13):
her next.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
You know.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
I think it's crazy that she didn't put out a
statement un till like days later.

Speaker 4 (08:19):
Yeah, I was very upset, Like that's not like her.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
I've had tickets to her concerts that have been canceled
before when she had a health issue, and right away
like she put out this long post.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
She was really upset.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
She was crying like in the video and this one.
She didn't write anything. There was no post, there was nothing,
and a lot of fans are you know, rightfully so
upset about that.

Speaker 4 (08:42):
You know, like you talk to us.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
Tell us what's going on, apologize even though it's not
her fault, but just like guys like, I'm gonna we're
gonna figure this out.

Speaker 4 (08:49):
She put up like a small.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
Statement days later that really wasn't anything her usual, Like
usually she's very empathetic and all that, but I don't know,
maybe something. You know, she's probably stressed too, because it
did cancel her other shows too, right, you told me.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Yeah, it did cancel a few other shows. The whole
Jason Aldeane thing. It's weird to me because each artist
brings their own stage usually.

Speaker 4 (09:14):
I don't know, maybe I know, she brings her backdop.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
Maybe Fenway Park has their own stage that, you know,
because it's a baseball field, so like, no, this is
the stage.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
That we're using, you know, we I don't know.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
Yeah, you know.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
I but yeah, that was crazy, very disappointed and hopefully
I get to see her again soon.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
We made up for that. We had a very exciting
week last week. We got to go to Whoopee Goldberg's
whoop Tee launch party. We had a freaking blast.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
Oh my god, it was amazing. It was like so
much fun. We didn't know what to expect at first,
you know, no, but it was great.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
So many amazing people. They're nice friendly. Everyone was so
like welcoming.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
You know, they were all so sweet. The music. I
loved the music. It took me back to high school.
It was all like R and B music and me
and Laala were just singing and dancing along. Whoopy Goldberg.
She was the sweetest.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
Yeah, like I loved her from a child. The Sister
Act was my favorite movie.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
I still watch it. I could.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
I've watched that movie probably fifty times in my life.
You know, I was shocked when I met her at
how amazingly sweet she was. She was so nice, how
she connected with you. And Shauna can vouch her this
because she's met a lot of celebrities. When you meet
some celebrities there, they don't they don't care.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
They don't care to talk to you.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
They don't care to look you in the eye, they
don't care to connect with you.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Yeah, they're kind of like, all right, here's an autograph,
here you go.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
And get out of my way. But whoopee, Like nope,
she connected right away with Shauna, talked to Shauna forever.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
I know she recognized me.

Speaker 4 (10:52):
She recognized Shauna.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
I walked up.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
She's like, I've met you before. And I'm like, I
don't think so.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
And she lives in our area, like you know, in
our Hudson Valley, so she could have seen her in passing,
but she maybe it was crazy that she like took
the time to talk to you, make the connection with you.

Speaker 4 (11:10):
Just she was so nice.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
I can't And then I had like a fangirl moment
when now I'm talking to her and like I shook
her hand and I'm like, whoopee, you're my biggest fan.
I loved you and sister act you're my biggest fan.
And She's just looking at me like uh. And then
I realized what I said, and I got all embarrassed
and I had to walk away. I'm like, all right, goodbye,
You're my biggest fan, with like what the hell's wrong

(11:33):
with me? But I was just, you know, a little nervous,
but she was really nice. My husband wanted to meet
her like quickly, and she was in the she was busy,
but I'm like, hey, my husband wanted to just shake.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
Your hand, said she said, bring him over, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:47):
Bring him over. He came.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
He he shook her hand and said, he said, love
your work, and he was going to leave her alone,
and she said, She held his hand tight and she
goes and what's your name?

Speaker 4 (11:56):
Looking him right in the eye, and it.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
Shocked us all, Like she didn't have to do that,
like she cared for that interaction with him, you know.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
Yeah, but she was like that with everybody, even you know,
even her friends. Her friends came. There was a lot
of media there, a lot of you know, other celebrities,
but she connected with each person.

Speaker 3 (12:15):
Yes, yeah, this She is an amazing person. She was
an amazing actress when we were kids. And I am
so excited for her and Genesis Infuse for their the
Whooped Tea that they came out with, and they're all
the other CBD infused drinks that they do sell, but
Whooped Tea was delicious.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
Oh my god, it was delicious. And you know, I've
never My uncle owns a bunch of CBD stores, actually
one very local, and I have never tried any of
his products ever.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
Yeah, because you were you were afraid you're not gonna
like it, right, Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
Yeah, And I like the the feeling of getting high
scares me. I don't know why, but so I figured,
you know, maybe I'll bring like a bottle of water
to whoop teas thing. Wow. Let me tell you that
drink was too good. It was so good. I came
there with a headache. The a leave that I took

(13:15):
earlier in the day did not help. The whoop tea though.
Took it right away, within like a half hour.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
I know.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
It's amazing.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
It is amazing what God's green Earth has given us
in natural medicine.

Speaker 4 (13:28):
You know what I mean? Yeah, that is that is
natural medicine, and that's great.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
Yeah. So I'm gonna stock up on it.

Speaker 4 (13:36):
I think I am too.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
It's out of stock already. I saw on the website
yesterday because I went to order it. But I am
going to stock up when it is back in order.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
And I thought it was gonna have a funky taste
because honestly, Sean and I we don't drink alcohol, we
don't smoke weed, we don't do anything.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
I thought it was gonna taste like smell like pot.

Speaker 4 (13:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
So I was kind of nervous to take that first
sip because I'm we don't we don't drink anything like
that or do anything like that.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
I did smell it before I drink it.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
Of course, I didn't want tom like I'm not gonna
smell it because maybe I won't drink it. But it
had no The taste was like it was sweet.

Speaker 4 (14:10):
Tea mixed with lemonade. So it was just like the
half and half.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
And yes, that's exactly what it tasted to me. And
one of the founders, I don't know if she's one
of the founders or Fay or Priscilla. No, it wasn't her.
It might have been one of their relatives or somebody
that works there with them. She asked me what I
thought about it. I had told her. I said, my
uncle owns, you know, a bunch of shops, and I've
never tried his stuff. But here I am, you know,

(14:36):
trying whoopees. So she thought it was funny. And she's like,
what did it taste like to you? And I said, honestly,
it tasted like Arnold Palmer.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
Yeah, and that's what will be.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
Not that she wanted Arnold Palmer, but I heard her
when she was talking. She said that she loves half
and half, like the sweet tea and the lemonade, and
that's what she wanted.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
Them to create for her. And she's like, they nailed it,
And they did. They nailed it.

Speaker 3 (14:58):
You would just think you're drinking a regular half and
half because it was. I didn't taste anything different in it.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
No, I didn't either. It was so good.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
It was mild, it wasn't too sweet, which I don't
like too sweet. It wasn't too sour from lemon. It
was just the perfect balance.

Speaker 4 (15:14):
And the pina.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
Colada I had, I liked it. I liked the whoop
tea better the flavor. The pinaclatta was good too. It
was just a little too sweet for me, but a
lot of people they were raving about it.

Speaker 4 (15:24):
But my favorite was the whoop Tea.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
And the founders of Genesis Infused. They are women owned,
black owned, super talented women, super nice. We talked to
them too, and I am just so proud of them
and excited for the future of Genesis Infused.

Speaker 4 (15:40):
And we will, Sean and I will definitely be buying.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
And spreading the word about them because we really truly
enjoyed the drinks and their company. They were really amazing people.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
And we're gonna try and get them on the show
later on in a few weeks when everything calms down
a little bit.

Speaker 4 (15:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
So a lot of people have asked me how I
balance the show, the events that we go to with
being sick, How did you handle all that? You know,
like it's a lot, and it is a lot, and
I don't know how I handle it. Sometimes I just do.
And Laila, you have two kids, you work, you do

(16:24):
the show, you have your side business.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
Yeah, I think that's why I'm just neurotic and like
losing my brain cells.

Speaker 4 (16:33):
Yeah, it's hard, It is hard. I don't know. We
both have our different size of this.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
You know, you don't have kids, but you have a
ton of health issues, and that is taxing in itself.

Speaker 4 (16:45):
That takes a lot of time.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
It takes a lot of energy, It takes a lot
of your mental emotional.

Speaker 4 (16:49):
Health, you know.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
Then me, it's yeah, I have no time. I feel
like I'm constantly running. I'm constantly rushing through my day
of these timelines, timeline for this, timeline, for that, timeline,
for the kids. When I got to pick up my son, Well,
I got to make dinner tonight. Did I have dinner?
I have to go to the grocery store, the show,
the editing videos, my side business, Like, yeah, I don't

(17:11):
I don't know. I don't know how we do it,
Like you said, we just you just do it. You
don't have a choice, you know, you don't have a choice.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
I think I tried to prioritize my days, like and
things that I have to do, you know, like going
to the city. I blocked that day out weeks ago. Yeah,
so I knew, all right, I'm gonna need Wednesday and
Thursday completely blocked out to get ready, and we still

(17:40):
forgot stuff.

Speaker 3 (17:41):
Yeah, and you'll see our videos that we had to
use our phone because our microphone broke, and then the
two piece We've bought a new mic to bring and
one of the pieces fell out of the box on
the way to the city, so we couldn't even use
the microphones.

Speaker 4 (17:57):
The tripod are light.

Speaker 3 (18:00):
It was just this is the chaos of it, and
we just had so much going on at that moment. Oh,
we forgot batteries, the batteries for the other thing. Yeah,
so it was a learning experience for Shauna and I.
We have done interviews before, but they were never it
was usually on our time, and like we we had
a set time to meet with one celebrity, sit down
with them.

Speaker 4 (18:18):
It was like, you know, this we knew was a lot.

Speaker 3 (18:21):
And we're you know, we were as prepared as we
could be. We have to do better next time.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
But I think for I think for our first time
in like years, it went really well.

Speaker 3 (18:31):
I think we did good. The phone picked up, the
interview is really great. Yeah, and so next time it's
going to be one hundred percent better. But it was
a great experience for Shauna and I to learn to
and to know what to do next time and what
not to do next time, you know.

Speaker 2 (18:47):
Yeah. And I think that comes down with the thought
of not having it all, you know, like we want
it all. We know how to go get it. We're
very good at being go getters. But it's the idea
of not having it all, you know. It's okay, yeah,
that we don't have it all together. Maybe one day

(19:08):
we will, I hope.

Speaker 4 (19:10):
So I hope I have.

Speaker 3 (19:13):
Yeah, I agree with that, Like we were kind of
at the stage now where we're like all right in
the past, that would have ruined my whole evening of
oh my god, we lost that piece of the mic.
Oh my god, this MIC's not working, and I would
have had a panic attack. But even though yes, Sean
will tell you, I was like thinking about it way

(19:33):
too long, longer than I should have been thinking about it, like,
oh my god, I wish we had it.

Speaker 4 (19:36):
I wish we had it. I was more chill than
my old self.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
Would be, and I'm like, yeah, it's fine, we're gonna
make it work. Just relax, and I'm proud of myself.
I'm proud of me and Seana for not freaking out.
And we made it work, you know, we made it work. So, yeah,
we got to ditch that having it all attitude because
it's good.

Speaker 4 (19:55):
That's more stress than it's worth.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
Yeah, it really is. And you know, I will say
that I think we were very professional there. Yes, you know,
we looked like we had our shit together, even though
we did not. Nobody knew, you know. I talked to
a lot of people there and I'm like, oh, we
forgot her my you know, the mic broke this. We've
got batteries and they're like, really, well, we couldn't tell

(20:19):
what you tell. Yeah, so and the sound on my
phone actually came out really good, it did. I was
very shocked.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
Yeah, before we got there, like we dressed, you know,
we made sure we dressed to the nine, you know,
and Seanna got there before me, and she was a
little nervous She's like, I think we're over dressed, and
my husband was like, tell her, relax. It's better to
be overdressed and look professional and look like you give
a crap about the.

Speaker 4 (20:44):
Event than to not. And that's I said to Sean.
I'm like, let's no, we look good. We're good.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
You know, we look like we respect this event like
we are. We think highly of this event, and we
think highly of ourselves, so you know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (20:58):
I think we were great. I think we looked good too.

Speaker 2 (21:01):
You know, we did, even though everything was last minute.
We went out on Wednesday looking for alphits and got
her hair done, got her nails done.

Speaker 4 (21:12):
Those were last minute Alphas. We both bought them the
same day together.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
Yeah, the day before, like we were both thank god,
you know, thank god we went shopping because I'm like, ah,
we're not gonna find anything, but we did.

Speaker 4 (21:22):
We found two winners, and we looked beautiful.

Speaker 2 (21:25):
I think I think we did too.

Speaker 3 (21:27):
The other thing we forgot that I was really upset
about was our har Oh mini light and I raved
about this on the show before. It's it is like
the mag safe light. It clips right onto the back
of your phone like magnetically. You just put their boomit's
on there. It's secure and it's really bright. You can
change the coloring the lighting, and I really wanted to

(21:47):
use that for our interview, and I think it would
have been great, absolutely amazing for that.

Speaker 4 (21:53):
Yeah, lighting in there sucked. It was really bad.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
Story, it was not the best. And ring like it's
are really they're going out of style.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
Yeah, you don't want to walk in with a ring
light kind of anymore, Like that's not you know, but
this one was perfect.

Speaker 4 (22:08):
It's small.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
If it right on the back of your phone, you
don't even have to take another case for it because
it could just stay.

Speaker 4 (22:12):
On the back of your phone, you know.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
And so I'm really I'm really frustrated with myself for
I was just so frazzled, you know what I mean.
Like for me, it was I had to get a
babysitter for the kids. My babysitter's car broke down, so
I had to go pick them up. They lived forty
minutes away from me, get them back, get Seana, get
you know, like my husband, he had to drive us
to the city. It was just a lot, and I
think that played into us being so forgetful with things.

Speaker 4 (22:37):
But I am.

Speaker 3 (22:39):
We have another few interviews coming up. We're going to
Nashville in a couple of weeks, and that is right now.

Speaker 4 (22:44):
It's already in my suitcase. I put my I pre.

Speaker 3 (22:46):
Packed some stuff and that's in my suitcase. I am
not forgetting it.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
And is the microphone in your suitcase?

Speaker 4 (22:54):
I hope? So that's scary, right, I don't know. I
will check when I get home, but I did.

Speaker 3 (22:59):
I did bring it in my room, so who knows
if it made it to the suitcase. But that's remind
me tonight and it's going in the suitcase. Everything, the batteries,
the microphone, everything.

Speaker 2 (23:07):
I have to give you the SD card, so remind me.

Speaker 4 (23:09):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
So.

Speaker 3 (23:10):
But this Harlow Minu, which we've talked about, it is
something that every influencer photographer, you should have it, or
if even just for normal people, like if you want
better lighting in areas or make your videos pop, pictures pop.

Speaker 4 (23:25):
It's a great thing.

Speaker 3 (23:25):
It's small and you can stay on the back of
your phone, you know, when it's not really in use.
I wouldn't keep it on there forever because in case
it gets damaged. But I love it, and we actually
have a code for that LB.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
T M ten and that is for ten percent off.
And if you go to our website Shawnaandlala dot com,
just go right down to our blog and you will
see the blog post Harlow Hobo Light and click on
that and it'll take you to their website to purchase.
So right now we are going to jump into our

comedian Kosha Dills.

Speaker 4 (24:05):
Hey, what's up.

Speaker 2 (24:06):
How are we doing?

Speaker 4 (24:07):
We are doing good. Are you excited to be here?

Speaker 1 (24:10):
Yeah? I'm excited. I really don't kind of understand a
little bit of what's going on. I seem a little
bit chaotic, but you know, I'm here for it. I
assume I'm at a purple carpet versus I'm at the
whoop Tee event. Well, you know Whoopedie Woo. Right, last
genesis I had was a Sega Genesis, so this is
obviously a little bit different.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
You know, you remember that the Nintendo's.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
Store open today. I got Sega Genesis. Listen, I'm a
big fan.

Speaker 4 (24:35):
I just bought Whoopies book.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
So I wanted to show respect where I come and
support and I really like to know a lot.

Speaker 4 (24:42):
But that's awesome. I'm excited to try it. Have you
tried it yet?

Speaker 1 (24:47):
No, I'm sober. So I don't think it's a big
thing that you know, but I'm here. I'm supporting. I'm supporting.
That's it. I don't know what else I could do,
you know, I show, I show to support.

Speaker 4 (24:56):
But oh, you're a drink tryer.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
You're a drink tryer, try the drinks.

Speaker 4 (25:01):
I'm more of a Seltzer.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
Guy, you know. Yeah, listen, I'm more of a Seltzer guy.
And then these ladies they made the thing. Is that
is that true? They made the drink. Wow, I'm trying
to make my bed. That's about it. I don't like
to but to me, I'm listen. I'm excited. I was
coming to a steak house. I was like a steak Whoopy, Goldberg,

(25:25):
Sega Genesis. You know, listen, I had to win, win,
you know.

whoop Tee is one of our beverages in partnership with
WHOOPI Goldberg super excited.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
What was your inspiration to make the tea and to
collaborate with Whoopee?

Speaker 5 (26:14):
Well, a couple of things really. First of all, we
love Whoopee. Whoope's real, we want oh yes, and we
wanted to create something that was good and good for you, right,
So we all know that tea has medicinal aspects, but
what better than whoop tea ten milligrams of thac hemp derived,

(26:36):
you know, something that can help you with anxiety, pain, inflammation,
all the things in the background by also having a
great experience. And that's what Whoop's about, having a great experience,
being real and also making certain that she's focuses in
champions women.

Speaker 4 (26:51):
That's a big deal.

Speaker 5 (26:53):
So you women owned brand, Minority went owned, Baron been
in existence for the last six years.

Speaker 2 (27:00):

Speaker 4 (27:27):
That's so amazing. So you directed her song it's called
and when is that coming out?

Speaker 3 (27:32):
We don't know.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
We're submitting to festivals right now, so we'll.

Speaker 3 (27:35):
Be looking for that.
