Brandy and Monica were on top of the music charts, and, oh, and 'Sex and the City' aired its first episode. Welcome to 'Shortcomings,' a new 'Sex and the City' podcast from Sam Bush (aka @bravohistorian) and Chris Lewis. They're going all-in on our problematic fave — the memories, the men, the fashion, and, of course, Aidan's obsession with KFC. Sam and Chris will recap all 92 episodes of the series, two movies, and whatever the revival is. So grab a cosmo and join Sam and Chris in taking a critical eye to a show that changed television.

We made it to the end of season four and we can only hope that season five is looking up, because we didn't love this episode. So much so, we really barely discuss it. So disclaimer - the Girls talk in this episode is little to none. But, I think we sort of made some points. Either way, we love you deep!

We've reached the middle of Season 4 and wow what an episode, but before that we discuss our feelings about the upcoming Summer House (this was recorded before the s9 premiere), one of us is confused by Chickenfry, and we begin to ponder what's to become of Shortcomings when we finish Girls. Oh, we woke up on the wrong side of the bed! The discourse has become toxic and we have to get these Beyoncé-haters and Craig apologists in their place. And then we take on a pretty important episode in Girls transition. Hannah is struggling in Iowa, Marnie and Desi are compartmentalizing, and Shosh is the only adult on this damn show. Take a listen!
