The Forgotten Side of Early Goth Metal

When we think of Gothic Metal we often think of the early hybridization of death and doom or the drearier side of hyper produced Symphonic Metal, but throughout the early to mid 90's there was another side to the burgeoning goth metal scene. One filled with even stranger genre blends, and a degree of experimentation that has since been forgotten. We take a look back at these unremembered projects of yesteryear and attempt to reestablish the Kvlt credibility of a sub-genre that is laughed at by some, and completely disregarded by others.
