everybody knows Venus is about love. And you know when
Venus is retrograde? Does it mean more divorces? Does it
mean more breakups? Is it a positive? Can we make
it positive?

Oh? You can always make positive out of anything in
the sky and our lives, right, I mean, even when
bad quote unquote bad things happen, a lot of people
are very good at spinning them around to the positive
side and choosing to see that side of the coin. Okay,
So we're recording this in early twenty twenty five, and
we happen to have a Venus retrograde in front of us.

It's going to be from March first, twenty twenty five
to April twelfth. But for folks listening to this five
years down the road, Venus goes retrograde about every year
and a half, so there will be a lot of
them forthcoming. So same thing applies each time. So if

Oh that's perfect, really, what a perfect capturing of of
Venus retrograde. That's it, he nailed it. He must have
written that about a Venus retrograde period retrograde? How do

retro grade? Think of rewords. Whenever you hear a planet

in retrograde, whether it's Mercury, Mars, Venus, Jupiter, think we're
going to go back and revisit things that are thematic
to that planet. So obviously Venus is about love. We're
going to revisit things about relationships. If you are in
a lockdown, tight, wonderful, awesome marriage, congratulations, probably some things

will come up that you want to revisit, and you'll
revisit them in order to make them stronger, and your
relationship will be all the better for the period because
you have built it on a solid foundation. It will
be good and you'll make it better. So well, typically,

and here we are, we spot each other, you don't
know them, stop a second, reviewing your head, what's happened
before to you when you thought it was love at
first sight?

Well, and that's a fly trap really of Venus in retrograde,
and especially this one, because this one in twenty twenty five,
Venus is going to start its retrograde ten degrees into
the sign of aries, which is Mars, which is sexuality.

So you could be in this fly trap of instant attraction,
feel that retrograde pull into the relationship. Quite honestly, let's
just say, want to go jump in bed fast and
it will unwind just as quickly. That's the risk. Now

you may end up marrying the guy, but the chances
are in a retrograde period to start something. You asked
specifically should I start something? It really covers a number
of different things because Venus also rules beauty and we
think about well we create beauty in our homes. So

a lot of people say don't start, like, don't buy
a home during venus retrograde. For example, you can remodel,
you can start a remodel anything, reword repair, what if
you need to do or repair absolutely perfect? Time people
ask about mercury retrograde. Should I get surgery during mercury

retrograde if it's to repair or revitalize something perfect. So
that's kind of a guideline with venus retrograde is you
could start a new relationship, just keep it in the
context of what's going on to support that relationship energetically, Hey,

let's take this one a little slow. I'm really attracted
to you, but I you know, for once, i'd like
to get it right and I'd like this to last.
So how about if we just took a little slower
and you're sitting there looking at your clock, and you
know that on April thirteenth you are in the clear.

How about if we just, you know, let's take it
easy for a couple of weeks, and let's just you know,
let's respect each other's space. And I really would like
to get to know you, and you're visiting things that
are going to be the glue of the relationship should
it survive. But don't take it too far, too fast
at the beginning during a venus retrograde. But ALTI well,

and you know, look, I mean, depending on how you
like to play the field. And that's saying that in
a very respectful thing about dating, right, I mean, it

Depends on what you want, you know, do you want
something for the now or do you want something for
the future, right, And various people have, you know, different
opinions on that. Somebody might say, I am lonely and
I want somebody right and I don't care really how long,
because I can get somebody else. You know. It's like
if it doesn't work out, then that's fine. But I

really would like somebody to go to dinner with and
go do things with and be able to call and
text and how are you doing during the day and
all that. Yeah, I'd like that in my life, but
I really I'm not so much in it for the
long game. So define what you're after, which you should
know anyway obviously, and something might surprise you. Mars is

in retrograde as we're recording this, and it will still
be in retrograde during this period, so Mars and Venus
will be in retrograde together. So some people say, when
Mars is in retrograde, don't start a conflict because the
aggressor the one who starts the conflict will usually lose
the argument. Or if it's a country, don't go to

war during Mars retrograde, you probably will regret it. You
want to be the passivist during that time, and you
can use that the other way too, because obviously, if
somebody is aggressive toward you during a Mars retrograde period,
you can pretty well set your clock, just play it out.

They're going to end up on the losing side. So
you could do that with Venus retrograde as well. In
other words, if somebody is pushing in the relationship, you know,
the relationships are always on different levels.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
There's never a different There's never for me anyway. I
never have had a balanced relationship. I look at my parents,
they had a balanced relationship till my mom passed. It
seems like there's never a balance for me.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
You know, always in relationships, one person likes the other
more than the other likes the looks like there's always
one that's more into it. Well, you just have to
realize if you're being the more aggressive person in that
relationship during Venus retrograde, chances are it might work against you.
The passage good one take the passive side, and then

if you can both be on that perspective and both agree.
And look, if you're into astrology, I mean you know
your friend in San Diego who said, Mom, I can't
make friends unless I know my big three. Well, it
would be perfect because over your early dates you just say, hey,
I am super into astrology. And let me just tell
you right now, ven if you didn't know, Venus is

in retrograde, and they'll probably jump in and interrupt you
and say, oh my god, yes, I know Venus is
in retrograde and we really shouldn't go too far too
fast here. We ought to take it easy. And they'll
know that Venus is out of retrograde on April twelfth,
and then you know, oh wow, I'm waiting for you.

You know, it's like yeah, or if they come back
and you say I don't believe in that stuff, then
they're not right for me.

Exact check please, yeah.

Exactly, that's so true. Now let's go to a happy couple.
You know, you take billion as life, Melissa, or you
take well, my mom passed last year, but my mom
and dad you have a wonderful relationship, and maybe they
have an argument during a Venus and retrograde.

What would you suggest, for one, because it starts in
arees and Mars is also the god of war. Don't
get into immediate conflict.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
Take ten seconds or longer and think about it.

And see. This is also where astrology can guide a relationship,
because if you're in a relationship where you can talk
about this with your partner, I mean I could only
be in a relationship of that nature. Now me, I
do six astrology podcasts a week. It's our seven or eight.
I mean, we're talking astrology. We are talking astrology in

my home. That's it, you know. But a couple who
is acknowledging what's going on in the sky would both
be aware and they would know that. Look, well, first
of all, I don't want to come after you for
something you left your shoes in the middle of the
hallway again, because if I make that an issue, I'm
going to lose. I'm going to be eating some leather.

You know. It's like I don't want to. So what
you do then, is you you know the count to
five theme, well, count to fifty or count to twenty.
Go in separate rooms, go get away from each other
and just say, hey, let's let's take a little break.
Let's cool it down. This is a Mars break, and
you just use what you know as both being comfortable

talking about astrology and just let's don't heat this up.
This is an aries situation. Venus is in aries. We
need to review here, so we need to come back
when we can both review and reconcile positively. So let's
just go, you know, let's go chill and then we'll
come back and we'll work this out.

And if you are somebody who is single, you know,
I just had this thought, Reword, how about if you
return inward and return to the love of yourself.

Good time to work on yourself. For sure, it is.
And I'm not saying avoid dating or avoid even people

whatever the popular ones are today. Be on there. But
just realize that this is a six week little space
when you want to approach things differently compared to the

Once it's over, you got a long runway.

It's a good time to reevaluate what it is that
you really want. In a relationship. Why return to the

to be? Is it because I I'm lonely and I'm
going to bring up something that was said to me
by a friend supposedly. I thought it was a very
weird thing. I've been friends with this man for a

very long time, just friends, always used to work with
him in broadcasting. And he said it very joking, passive,
aggressive joke. If you know what it means. He said,
you know, Judy, here's the thing about you. Okay, what
he said, You're You're not the type of woman that
a man necessarily wants to be with forever. He said,

You're like that fantasy. So what does that mean? He goes, yeah,
that's why you've never had a long term that worked.
And that killed me, just about kill me. And I thought,
is that true? Does that mean I really am going
to be alone the rest of my life? Because he
said that, and I had to really think about it
because I hit hard and I don't know why he
(15:55):
felt he should say it at that moment. He said,
I was too much.

See I'd file that under the category that everybody has
a navel and an opinion. Thank you for sharing yeah,
I guess. So, Yeah, there is one thing I would
say to our single friend or you know, people ending
a relationship wanting to get back out into the field.
There are so many different areas of this, but one

thing I would say is during a venus retrograde period,
and especially during this one, if you wanted to be strategic,
it is going to be a hot time to have
people come back around for one and to go out
into the field and probably find some connections. You just
have to realize take it slow, gotcha.

to talk about this so that people can be empowered
to use this energy. There's a vibration in the sky,
in the ethers around us that's going on with this

strategically use it. Don't get caught up in something. This
is where you can be conscious. So now you make decisions. See,
I wanted to ask you why I don't have as
much experience with this. So when old relationships come back around.

So let's say that your phone starts to light up
around the first of March. Here they come right, just
like we predicted, and you are like, oh my gosh,
why would you entertain talking to one, especially if you
know there was closure that this didn't work for me?
And here's why, why would you not more than have

a friendship conversation, Oh hey, how are you doing? Good
to hear from you? Is everything good in your life?
But no connotation of hey, let's go out to dinner,
let's get back together. Why do people come back around
to old relationships.

I've never understood that you're asking the wrong person because
once I'm done, I'm done.

Well that's a Leo characteristic.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
Yeah you don't. I'm done. And so but I do
have many friends that do go back and then they
wonder again, why did I do this? And it's insecurity. Okay,
it's a fear. Now I have that same fear. But
not so bad that I would go back to something
that didn't work. I have the fear of being alone,
of course I do, and so when this gentleman said

that about my life, I'm just going to be alone,
it just hit into my own fear. But I did
step back and evaluate and said, you know, I kind
of like my own company. It's not the end of
the world, you know, but that is it. That's the
number one fear I think. I think that people that
do that have is well, if I don't, then I
might not get another chance at being at love, or

I might be alone the rest of my life. I
think the main thing is that I have a very
difficult time and this comes with friendships too. Is relating
to people because I go down these philosophical rabbit holes
and they just don't go with me, and then I
get bored and they get bored.

You've got Pisc's moon, You've got Saturn in Pisces, You've
got Chiron in Pisces. That's exactly what you were just describing.
That's a context of you and your scorpio ascendant. So
even though you're out there with your Leo, you're in
here with your Scorpio and your Pisces. Yeah point, I'm

pointing to my chest. You know, you're inside as you
process everything through that spiritual filter.

be karmic. But also if you really wanted to, and
sometimes I think it's us. We hold back our energy.
We've got our wall up. In other words, we need

in your chart. That's your rabbit's foot, that's your like chip,

and especially this one, because this one in twenty twenty five,
Venus is going to start its retrograde ten degrees into
the sign of aries, which is Mars, which is sexuality.
(06:25):
So you could be in this fly trap of instant attraction,
feel that retrograde pull into the relationship. Quite honestly, let's
just say, want to go jump in bed fast and
it will unwind just as quickly. That's the risk. Now
(06:46):
you may end up marrying the guy, but the chances
are in a retrograde period to start something. You asked
specifically should I start something? It really covers a number
of different things because Venus also rules beauty and we
think about well we create beauty in our homes. So
(07:06):
a lot of people say don't start, like, don't buy
a home during venus retrograde. For example, you can remodel,
you can start a remodel anything, reword repair, what if
you need to do or repair absolutely perfect? Time people
ask about mercury retrograde. Should I get surgery during mercury
(07:28):
retrograde if it's to repair or revitalize something perfect. So
that's kind of a guideline with venus retrograde is you
could start a new relationship, just keep it in the
context of what's going on to support that relationship energetically, Hey,
(07:48):
let's take this one a little slow. I'm really attracted
to you, but I you know, for once, i'd like
to get it right and I'd like this to last.
So how about if we just took a little slower
and you're sitting there looking at your clock, and you
know that on April thirteenth you are in the clear.
(08:10):
How about if we just, you know, let's take it
easy for a couple of weeks, and let's just you know,
let's respect each other's space. And I really would like
to get to know you, and you're visiting things that
are going to be the glue of the relationship should
it survive. But don't take it too far, too fast
at the beginning during a venus retrograde. But ALTI well,
(08:33):
and you know, look, I mean, depending on how you
like to play the field. And that's saying that in
a very respectful thing about dating, right, I mean, it
is playing the field how you like to do it.
It could be a great time to play and to
have fun because there could be a lot of sizzling
attraction out there. So if you wanted to take a
(08:54):
six week period and go have some fun, nothing wrong
with that. I'm not you know, saying either way, just
know what energy you're working with, so be a.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
Little bit more cautious as you dip your toes in
the different pools of love.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
Depends on what you want, you know, do you want
something for the now or do you want something for
the future, right, And various people have, you know, different
opinions on that. Somebody might say, I am lonely and
I want somebody right and I don't care really how long,
because I can get somebody else. You know. It's like
if it doesn't work out, then that's fine. But I
(09:30):
really would like somebody to go to dinner with and
go do things with and be able to call and
text and how are you doing during the day and
all that. Yeah, I'd like that in my life, but
I really I'm not so much in it for the
long game. So define what you're after, which you should
know anyway obviously, and something might surprise you. Mars is
(09:54):
in retrograde as we're recording this, and it will still
be in retrograde during this period, so Mars and Venus
will be in retrograde together. So some people say, when
Mars is in retrograde, don't start a conflict because the
aggressor the one who starts the conflict will usually lose
the argument. Or if it's a country, don't go to
(10:16):
war during Mars retrograde, you probably will regret it. You
want to be the passivist during that time, and you
can use that the other way too, because obviously, if
somebody is aggressive toward you during a Mars retrograde period,
you can pretty well set your clock, just play it out.
(10:36):
They're going to end up on the losing side. So
you could do that with Venus retrograde as well. In
other words, if somebody is pushing in the relationship, you know,
the relationships are always on different levels.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
There's never a different There's never for me anyway. I
never have had a balanced relationship. I look at my parents,
they had a balanced relationship till my mom passed. It
seems like there's never a balance for me.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
You know, always in relationships, one person likes the other
more than the other likes the looks like there's always
one that's more into it. Well, you just have to
realize if you're being the more aggressive person in that
relationship during Venus retrograde, chances are it might work against you.
The passage good one take the passive side, and then
(11:26):
if you can both be on that perspective and both agree.
And look, if you're into astrology, I mean you know
your friend in San Diego who said, Mom, I can't
make friends unless I know my big three. Well, it
would be perfect because over your early dates you just say, hey,
I am super into astrology. And let me just tell
you right now, ven if you didn't know, Venus is
(11:47):
in retrograde, and they'll probably jump in and interrupt you
and say, oh my god, yes, I know Venus is
in retrograde and we really shouldn't go too far too
fast here. We ought to take it easy. And they'll
know that Venus is out of retrograde on April twelfth,
and then you know, oh wow, I'm waiting for you.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
You know, it's like yeah, or if they come back
and you say I don't believe in that stuff, then
they're not right for me.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
Exact check please, yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
Exactly, that's so true. Now let's go to a happy couple.
You know, you take billion as life, Melissa, or you
take well, my mom passed last year, but my mom
and dad you have a wonderful relationship, and maybe they
have an argument during a Venus and retrograde.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
What would you suggest, for one, because it starts in
arees and Mars is also the god of war. Don't
get into immediate conflict.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
Take ten seconds or longer and think about it.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
And see. This is also where astrology can guide a relationship,
because if you're in a relationship where you can talk
about this with your partner, I mean I could only
be in a relationship of that nature. Now me, I
do six astrology podcasts a week. It's our seven or eight.
I mean, we're talking astrology. We are talking astrology in
(13:03):
my home. That's it, you know. But a couple who
is acknowledging what's going on in the sky would both
be aware and they would know that. Look, well, first
of all, I don't want to come after you for
something you left your shoes in the middle of the
hallway again, because if I make that an issue, I'm
going to lose. I'm going to be eating some leather.
(13:25):
You know. It's like I don't want to. So what
you do then, is you you know the count to
five theme, well, count to fifty or count to twenty.
Go in separate rooms, go get away from each other
and just say, hey, let's let's take a little break.
Let's cool it down. This is a Mars break, and
you just use what you know as both being comfortable
(13:47):
talking about astrology and just let's don't heat this up.
This is an aries situation. Venus is in aries. We
need to review here, so we need to come back
when we can both review and reconcile positively. So let's
just go, you know, let's go chill and then we'll
come back and we'll work this out.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
And if you are somebody who is single, you know,
I just had this thought, Reword, how about if you
return inward and return to the love of yourself.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
Good time to work on yourself. For sure, it is.
And I'm not saying avoid dating or avoid even people
are on their social apps and their tender and they're
whatever the popular ones are today. Be on there. But
just realize that this is a six week little space
when you want to approach things differently compared to the
(14:37):
rest of the year. Yeah, and because Venus only goes
retrograde every eighteen months, you have a long space in between.
Once it's over, you got a long runway.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
It's a good time to reevaluate what it is that
you really want. In a relationship. Why return to the
you know review? Why? Why is it do I want
to be? Is it because I I'm lonely and I'm
going to bring up something that was said to me
by a friend supposedly. I thought it was a very
weird thing. I've been friends with this man for a
(15:11):
very long time, just friends, always used to work with
him in broadcasting. And he said it very joking, passive,
aggressive joke. If you know what it means. He said,
you know, Judy, here's the thing about you. Okay, what
he said, You're You're not the type of woman that
a man necessarily wants to be with forever. He said,
(15:33):
You're like that fantasy. So what does that mean? He goes, yeah,
that's why you've never had a long term that worked.
And that killed me, just about kill me. And I thought,
is that true? Does that mean I really am going
to be alone the rest of my life? Because he
said that, and I had to really think about it
because I hit hard and I don't know why he
(15:55):
felt he should say it at that moment. He said,
I was too much.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
See I'd file that under the category that everybody has
a navel and an opinion. Thank you for sharing yeah,
I guess. So, Yeah, there is one thing I would
say to our single friend or you know, people ending
a relationship wanting to get back out into the field.
There are so many different areas of this, but one
(16:20):
thing I would say is during a venus retrograde period,
and especially during this one, if you wanted to be strategic,
it is going to be a hot time to have
people come back around for one and to go out
into the field and probably find some connections. You just
have to realize take it slow, gotcha.
Speaker 1 (16:40):
Don't let that it's not a bad thing.
Speaker 2 (16:42):
Oh no, not at all.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
I mean, nothing in astrology is bad. I mean if
somebody tells you, if they're suppose an astrologer and know
what they're doing, they're not going to say it's bad
because there's always two sides of the coin.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
Well, this is why we try to do what we
do here and on the fun Astrology pop Cast and
Old Soul New Soul that I do. But we try
to talk about this so that people can be empowered
to use this energy. There's a vibration in the sky,
in the ethers around us that's going on with this
(17:15):
venus retrograde energy. Use it, know, what it is and
strategically use it. Don't get caught up in something. This
is where you can be conscious. So now you make decisions. See,
I wanted to ask you why I don't have as
much experience with this. So when old relationships come back around.
(17:38):
So let's say that your phone starts to light up
around the first of March. Here they come right, just
like we predicted, and you are like, oh my gosh,
why would you entertain talking to one, especially if you
know there was closure that this didn't work for me?
And here's why, why would you not more than have
(18:02):
a friendship conversation, Oh hey, how are you doing? Good
to hear from you? Is everything good in your life?
But no connotation of hey, let's go out to dinner,
let's get back together. Why do people come back around
to old relationships.
Speaker 1 (18:15):
I've never understood that you're asking the wrong person because
once I'm done, I'm done.
Speaker 2 (18:19):
Well that's a Leo characteristic.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
Yeah you don't. I'm done. And so but I do
have many friends that do go back and then they
wonder again, why did I do this? And it's insecurity. Okay,
it's a fear. Now I have that same fear. But
not so bad that I would go back to something
that didn't work. I have the fear of being alone,
of course I do, and so when this gentleman said
(18:44):
that about my life, I'm just going to be alone,
it just hit into my own fear. But I did
step back and evaluate and said, you know, I kind
of like my own company. It's not the end of
the world, you know, but that is it. That's the
number one fear I think. I think that people that
do that have is well, if I don't, then I
might not get another chance at being at love, or
(19:06):
I might be alone the rest of my life. I
think the main thing is that I have a very
difficult time and this comes with friendships too. Is relating
to people because I go down these philosophical rabbit holes
and they just don't go with me, and then I
get bored and they get bored.
Speaker 2 (19:27):
You've got Pisc's moon, You've got Saturn in Pisces, You've
got Chiron in Pisces. That's exactly what you were just describing.
That's a context of you and your scorpio ascendant. So
even though you're out there with your Leo, you're in
here with your Scorpio and your Pisces. Yeah point, I'm
(19:47):
pointing to my chest. You know, you're inside as you
process everything through that spiritual filter.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
M hm.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
Now for you and your chart, your seventh house is
governed by Taurus, which is Venus, so you better really
get ready. But also you have the north note of
the moon, and we won't get into the details of this,
but also the part of Fortune is another significant piece,
(20:19):
and Jupiter is just almost right there in your relationship area,
so you have for you. Relationships are always going to
be karmic. But also if you really wanted to, and
sometimes I think it's us. We hold back our energy.
We've got our wall up. In other words, we need
(20:40):
some shelter. But if you wanted a relationship, you could
have one from your chart. I mean part of fortune
in your seventh house. That's the relationship piece of pie
in your chart. That's your rabbit's foot, that's your like chip,
that's your ace, you know, the joker in a card.
It can be anything like you can play it anyway
you want. It could be an ace. You've got that
(21:03):
in your seventh house, and Venus rules your seventh house,
so I mean, there's no good reason why you should
not have love. Now. Your venus is like mine, it's
in Virgo, which it doesn't like the sign of Virgo.
So there's a little bit of stress fracture right there.
But other than that, I mean, it still is Venus
(21:23):
and Taurus is a wonderful sign to rule the seventh House.
Because you want a practical and you want a lasting relationship.
You just haven't found the right match to sync up
with the spiritual side.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
That's the issue. Yeah, that's the problem, exactly the issue. Yeah,
and I cannot. I just I can't relate to somebody,
to people that aren't don't have that that spiritual depth.
Speaker 2 (21:49):
As I like to say, Well, maybe hang in there.
Because of all these changes that are taking place in
our world. The one hope that you and I are
holding out for is that the whole tide floats all
the boats right, and as the spiritual tide rises, maybe
a bunch of guys out there will actually get it.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
I don't know, we'll see.
Speaker 2 (22:12):
Hold out. I don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (22:16):
I want you for everyone else. I don't know if it,
but I mean, you know, you.
Speaker 2 (22:22):
Gotta keep trying. I keep trying. I keep trying.

Yeah, I know, I know, I just I think that
it's more of just okay, review retro I like the
r s. However I can do it well.
