Astrology is really catching on. Judi has a story about a friend's son that is hard to ignore, and Thomas saw an astrological connection to one of the nation's major Electronic Medical Records programs. Amazing!

Judi mentioned several links in this episode:

Speaker 1 (00:00):
The following episode is not constitute medical advice and it's
for informational and entertainment purposes only. It's like GPS for
your life. The sky Vibe Show Authentic Practical Astrology in
easy to understand terms with your host Judy Diamond and
professional astrologer Thomas Miller. It is another edition of the
sky Vibe podcast show Astrology Show. I am Judy Diamond

(00:22):
along with professional astrologer Thomas Miller.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Thomas, this was crazy.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Last week we brought it up on my radio show
on iHeartRadio with my co host Billy Greenwood, who is.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
A non believer.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
I should say of astrology, I know right, having to
do with how mainstream astrology and popular has become.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Can we play a little bit of that?

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Judy Diamond says a little Skyvibe report this morning.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
This is fascinating to me.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
No, I've been into astrology and that kind of stuff
for years and years and years.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
More practical use of it, not what is your future
going to becoming?

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Hold on time out a second. You just said astrology
and practical use in the same sentence.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Is such a thing. It's crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
So I do this podcast sky Vibe Show. This is
how crazy. It is TikTok has been overrun with astrology
people all you know, all this that if you're a leo,
you know, well, it's been getting so popular that my
co host, who is a professional strologer, said, you're.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Not going to believe what happened.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
This is how popular that astrology has become mainstream. Okay
to this, it's a little thirty second selbite.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
I was registering for actually for somebody else. I was
helping them do this, trying to get on an electronic
medical record system. This is a major hospital system. In fact,
it's the medical record that most hospitals in America use.
It's called EPIC. And when we put the birth date in,
if you hit next, and the next question was we

(01:45):
need to verify that this is your birthday? What astrological sign?
Is this?

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Crazy? Not surprise this.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
I fell on the floor. I was like, you've got
to be kidding me.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
That's true.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Do we talk about how Main's dream it has become
It's crazy.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
He cracked himself up there. That's pretty funny. He was
blown away by that.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
I love it.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
And might I add something.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
I know we've said this before in the past, but
if you're new to this show. I'm going to resay
it at a very very dear friend of mine who
called me up frantic saying her son, who lives on
the West Coast, said hey, Mom, when was I born?

Speaker 2 (02:26):
What time?

Speaker 1 (02:27):
It's really important I know? And she's like, I don't.
Now she's from New York. I gotta look and see.
So he goes, no, Mom, it's really important. I need
to know what my top three are.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
And why and why?

Speaker 2 (02:39):
And so explain that for a second.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
Well, no, tell him why he had to know.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Oh, he had to know. And she goes, why do
you need to know? I mean, you know your birthday?
He goes, no, no, No, I need to know my rising,
my son, and my moon. And the reason why is
because nobody will talk to me otherwise.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Now that's amazing. Yeah, I've used that story so much.
Here is a gen Zier out in San Diego who
can't make friends unless he knows his astrology. That's incredible.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
That's how popular it is become.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Now. The thing that I take from that, having grown
up in Tulsa, so you're in Saint Louis right now,
we know that things move from the coasts to the
Midwest or central part of the country, and it's only
a matter of time before your friends in Saint Louis
and maybe some HR departments in Saint Louis are asking

(03:31):
for the same information. Isn't that going to be incredible?

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Yes, when you see that hospital records are asking for
an astrology sign to double check.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
The birthday, I have a screenshot of it, and I
said it to you. I have the screenshot if you
want to see it.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
I'm putting this podcast episode in a blog, a written blog,
and you can find it on the iHeartRadio Judy Diamond site.
I'll keep a there'll be a link in the commentary.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Lass you can put it up there. Awesome, good, it
really happened. It's really there. Epic, I mean, one of
the biggest in the country of hospital medical records. Now
you think about that. If there is not a stodgier
organ and I'm sorry offending everybody here in the medical profession,
everybody knows this, and there is not a stodgier more

(04:20):
science based profession. If it isn't documented by multiple peer
reviewed studies and research, it doesn't exist. And yet to
register for their EMR, you have to verify your astrological sign.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
That's pretty insane and I think it's very very cool.
Which again, we are entering into this age of Aquarius,
Aquarius being the sign that represents astrology.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
I'm not surprised about that, no.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
And you know, it is so growing and probably the
most popular age bracket are the millennials. Yeah, and you
see a lot of it on TikTok. Is it mostly
in that millennial age brack on TikTok? Would you say?
Or is it even younger? Is it?

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Oh, it's younger, it's more gen Zers.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
I see it tons of the gen z And what
I love about it is the thing that's beautiful about
seeing this is it's actually cross generations. Because as a
gen xer, my friends and I now I'm from southern
California that might have something to do with it. We
all believed in it. We were all into what they
called the New Age now call it the not Now

(05:26):
Age way before this time period. So a lot of
it could be the parents of these gen zers or
the alpha gen that they're finally listening to us and
going oh okay, and the boomers are kind of going,
oh there was something thereafter all, you know, and the
millennials definitely are jumping in. So what I think is

(05:48):
fascinating is the popularity of it is making it less
woo woo weird stuff and actually this is real stuff.
And he laughed at me saying practical, But Thomas, I know,
I say, your serious a lot.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
It really is practical use of it.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Oh totally. And that's why I when I started to
do my daily podcast, Fun Astrology, I wanted something that
was so different from how typical astrologers talk because to me,
I can't go on anywhere and find an astrology conversation
that I can stay with for more than about fifteen minutes.
It's like a monotone drone of stuff that my head

(06:27):
is not ready to absorb. So I tried to make
it bite sized and try to laugh at it. You know,
I say something like a planet is crossing the county line. Well,
any astrologer at any conference would laugh me at ban me,
probably from walking in the room. But to me, it
makes it more just normal kind of conversation than ingress. Yeah,

(06:50):
who uses.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
Ingress or this sex style? This that nobody understands that?
Who doesn't astro.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
Speak sociate, You'll appreciate, Steve Forrest says, now, when you
hear the word sex tile, which is a sixty degree
aspect in the sky, it's two planets that are sixty
degrees apart. It's geometry. I mean, the whole thing is geometry.
He says, when you hear the word sex tile, immediately,
what does your mind go to? Goes to tile tile?

(07:21):
Of course?

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Of course, Oh my mind is racing with things.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
I won't say I'm so bad, but yeah, I.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
Just try to make it fun, make try to make
it light, try to make it conversational, even to where
people can, you know, like not get all bogged down
in the terminology.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
And just a reminder that if there are if it's
still in your mind in your DNA because you were
brought up that this is a you know, blasphemy thing
for the Bible, let's just remind people there's astrology all
through the Bible.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
Yeah, and all through the church history to the original
church history, especially in the Catholic I mean the Sharks
Cathedral in France has astrological signs embedded in one of
their stained glass windows. Crazy, it's embedded in floors that
have been covered up, but I mean it was there
and then it was tapped out because it's so powerful.

(08:16):
You know, there was an example that happened this same
week that you guys did that little bit on your
radio show. Elton John and of course that's just a
brand that you don't have to explain, announced to the
world that he had lost his eyesight, and we put
Elton's chart up and went through it. This is the
detailed explanation of this from an astrological perspective is on

(08:40):
my other podcast called the Old Soul New Soul Podcast
with my co host there Robert Glascock, who has been
practicing and teaching astrology since nineteen sixty five. He cares
that out. He knows his stuff. He's done on almost
sixty thousand readings in his career and has a great

(09:00):
teaching ability as well. And we picked that apart, and
just the short of it is that the key areas
in Elton's chart that cover the eyes and suddenness, that's Urinus,
the planet of quick surprises, and all of the transiting planets.
So everything that was up in the sky when he

(09:22):
made that announcement points to blindness. Wow, now, I mean,
what do you do with that? As far as not
only the accuracy of it, but also this turns the
corner to a whole different conversation. But the fatedness of it.
Did it have to happen? Could it have been avoided? Yes,

(09:45):
But probably somebody that would have had to been changing
things back in the nineteen sixties and seventies, because I'm
sure a lot of his lifestyle back then, with the
drugs and everything else, probably led to this vulnerability. And
that's why knowing the chart and to me, why I'm
excited about this thing that's coming because parents, all these

(10:07):
gen zers are just a decade away from being parents
and really raising these kids, and they're going to raise
them to know their chart, and these gen zers are
going to educate themselves to know where these critical points
in our life are, like the Saturn return at twenty
nine and the Urinus opposition at forty two, and these

(10:29):
other key points in our life when things happen that
we need to be prepared for that. Some wise parent
could have looked ahead in this chart of their son,
their budding young musician, and said, you know, I know
you're getting ready to step into this culture. You're already there,
but just know that there's some payolas down the line

(10:50):
in your chart that I see that you might be
pay attention to and here and here and here is
what you might think about. And I know, telling a
twenty year old any thing like that is probably. But
once these kids see how real this road map of
their life is, then they're probably you know, what's the
next generation going to think about astrology?

Speaker 1 (11:12):
I think they'll think of it more in terms of
the same way that people go to church every Sunday.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
I think it'll be hand in hand. I hope, I'm hoping.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
And I see it in the difference between my son
who's a gen Zer and his big sister is the end,
the very end, almost in the middle of a millennial
and a gen zer.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
She still is on the end of Eh.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
I don't know, you know, but she's a Capricorn, right,
she's a Capricorn?

Speaker 2 (11:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Yeah, a little more.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
And he is totally In fact, he has asked me,
He and his girlfriend both have asked me, what do
you tell me about my sign? Tell me about Gemini?
Tell me about can Gemini and Lieber get along? You know,
they're asking me all this stuff and they totally believe it,
which is fantastic.

Speaker 3 (11:54):
Okay, you know, so this is something funny. So what
year was he born?

Speaker 2 (11:57):
He was born in nineteen ninety eight.

Speaker 3 (11:59):
All right, do you know so amazing? You can't make
this up. So in nineteen ninety eight, Neptune, the planet
of spirituality, had just entered Aquarius. Oh, the sign of astrology, wow,
and Uranus, which rules Aquarius was Inaquarius in nineteen ninety

(12:23):
eight by about nine or ten degrees. And that is
a double triple, no wonder. These kids are all over it.
It is wired into their soul and spiritual DNA.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
And his friends born you know that year. They're all
like that.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
They're all very interested and open to astrology, and it's
almost as if they already knew it without realizing it.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
Well, how do you explain to me otherwise that the
sign that rules it and the two planets that govern
the areas of spirituality and astrology are all infused into one.
And here's a whole generation that has taken over social
media technology Aquarius to espouse their belief and their fascination

(13:09):
with astrology. And you know the other thing is that
they also were the Harry Potter generation, yes, which completely
changed the whole paradigm of Like you said, you were
talking about California was doing this back in the sixties
and seventies. Yeah, way ahead of everybody else. And it
was it was those fruits and nuts out there in California,

(13:31):
you know, the woo woo granola crowd and all of that.
And I get it. I mean, and we don't want
to be woo woo. We want to be practical, like
you were saying. I don't like the wou woo either.
I don't want to hear all this marshmallow stuff about
blah blah blah. Show me what works. Yeah, and I
will tell you when one of the superstar musicians of

(13:52):
our era goes blind and it's all over his chart,
that's something I can't walk away from.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
Exactly, Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
And there's some great other episodes if you go back
to Old Told Newsole, which is that podcast that you do.
Great podcast, by the way, there is a lot of
astro speak. But if I can follow it, anybody can
follow it that you and Robert brought up. You did
a whole episode with the guy from Friends and his chart. Also, oh,
Matthew Perry, Yes, great episode death.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
By drug overdose from his Friends.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
In his chart. In it, it's in his chart.

Speaker 3 (14:29):
It's all over his chart.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
I definitely say after of course, you subscribe for free
