Speaker 1 (00:00):
The following episode does not constitute medical advice and is
for informational and entertainment purposes only. It's like GPS for
your life. The sky Vibe Show authentic practical astrology in
easy to understand terms with your host Judy Diamond and
professional astrologer Thomas Miller. Fascinating find that in our work

(00:21):
we had this thing that our boss said, can you
do this in an assessment?

Speaker 2 (00:25):
A lot of people have assessment tests. This is very
very very well known.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
It's the Gallup Clifton Strengths assess AX.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
How do you call it? Assessment assessment?

Speaker 1 (00:37):
There we go assessment And the fascinating thing was my
top five and my Coscort Billy's top five were exactly
like to me, are astrology signs.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
And we were completely right on.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
Oh you know, I mean, the whole thing's I got
to tell you something. It's all built on astrology. I
know you did the Gallop the Strengths Finder. Also, there
was a program that's been around since I've known them,
but since the I don't know, nineties, I think it's
been around since the eighties. The disc program. It was
based on four categories that kind of had subcategories dominance, influence, steadiness,

(01:21):
and consciousness. Those were the four DC. So you were
a high D or that means you're you know, you're
an alpha, You're a high C. You're you know, like kumbaya. Well,
I mean think about it. Dominance in astrology fire see
elements influence, air, steadiness, earth, and consciousness.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Water.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
I mean, sorry, folks, but astrologer has been Astrology has
been around since the I don't know, eight thousand BC era.
If you understood astrology, and I mean this is obviously
I'm biased with this. This is why every day when
we look into this, it absolutely is truly amazing. And
I know you guys were excited about the results of

(02:07):
this test, so tell us more.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Okay, So when you take the test, you don't want
to know anything. You just want to do blindly. They
give you one hundred questions. Just answer them what comes
first on the top of your head. Don't think too
hard because you want it to be accurate. So mine
were so me. My top five was input, which is
about collecting and accumulating ideas and relationships.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Ideation.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
I'm fascinated with ideas and the phenomena of finding connections
to share these ideas then there was of course positivity Developer,
which I love developing any kind of situation and strategy
and programs and empathy.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
These were my top five.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
This is so me, it is and it fits my
astrology natal chart to a t. And then there was
Billy's Achiever, analytical competition, maximizer, Relator. And the reason I
bring this up is they are so fitting to his chart,
and I fascinated by.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
This, so I looked at this and then went back
and looked at his chart. He's more driven by Libra,
which fits all of those characteristics in various kinds of ways.
For example, his analytical side that is so air sign
in astrology, so that's Libra all the way. It's all
about the mind. But he has Pluto, which is absolute

(03:23):
all power, everything about, just voluminous power is Pluto, and
for him, it's right on the planet that rules Libra,
which is Venus. And what's interesting about that is it's
in the part of the chart we call it the
eleventh house, but it's in the eleventh house, which is
the world. So he wants to relate to the whole world.

(03:45):
And then his moon is right there in that same area.
In Virgo, there's also analytical thinking. That's right there, say
that we just identified that this guy wants to relate
to the whole world. He does it brilliantly, powerfully. His
voice is so dynamite, you know exactly, And you know

(04:07):
our voices tell us tell a lot about us. I
remember on one of your snippets on in the Air,
Billy mentioned something about that my voice is soothing and calming.
One of my strengths finders was restorative, wanting to fix
things and yeah, let's be calm and come together here.
So you were asking about Libra's influence in his chart.

(04:29):
There's more. His Urinus is also in Libra, right next
to his Mars. So see Billy has these When you
take two planets and put them right next to each other,
side by side, that amplifies the power of it. So
as we were just saying, he has this Pluto Venus
Moon thing going on where he just wants to connect.

(04:50):
But everything he does he does so well, and he
is analytical about it. I know. You guys pick equipment
apart all the time. There's that same things, just like always,
how can I make it one degree better? You know,
can I improve it a little bit? And I so
relate to him on that. I absolutely do. It's like
and new things are coming into our world all the

(05:11):
time if you just stick with the same old stuff,
always pushing the edge with that. And that's also Urinus.
It's all about new technology in Mars. So it absolutely
reads him like a book, and yes, yours read you
like a book. You mentioned that, you said it matches
your chart very well. Why don't you compare some of

(05:32):
those five points with your astrology.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
The ideation and input is definitely Leo, very much.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
They're very creative.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
The positivity is another sunshine thing, the fire the developer.
Again we're talking creative. The empathy is also Leo. But
I also have Pisces. My moon is Pisces, which are
very very empathetic and saddurn. Yes, and so that the
whole everything about it, and a gel Ersioscorpio rising, which

(06:02):
is interesting because I think that's where the developer might
come in.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
So here's the thing. These corporations have brought in these programs,
and of course Gallup is a huge name in the
whole industry, so it carries that credibility. There's also a
lot of education and science behind it that they have
put in so it's almost like this you can't go
wrong kind of thing. To bring that into a company
and ask the employees, hey, are you willing to take

(06:26):
this personality test? And then you and Billy kind of
found out, oh gee, we're nothing like each other.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
We did this in order to have more teamwork, to
understand how to work with each other, which I think
was a great thing. It's great for any company. But
I said, Billy started to say it, and we talked
about the fact that Billy and I have figured this
out over the last six years, what our strengths and
weaknesses were, and we already connect because we know this,
you know, intuitionally, and we've listened. We went through some

(06:56):
times where we'd say few to each other, and that
was before we figured out, oh, okay, now I know
he's analytical, and I have to kind of back off
in my ideation and get all excited and go, oh,
let's do this.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
Let's I got my input in positivity.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
He's like a hold on so down, let's analytically see
if this is going to work on the show.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
He's brilliant on that. So you can not only cooperate
with that characteristic of his, but you can lean on
it because you don't have as much of that. So
by putting the two of you together, you know, somebody
might have HR years ago, six seven years ago might
have looked at this report from the two of you
and said, oh my god, we can't put these two
on together in the same station. They'll kill each other.

(07:35):
But when you guys learned how to appreciate each other's characteristics,
then you can rely on those. So when he needs
to kind of not be quite as serious and analytical, boom,
you drop in with something out of left field, right
and it lightens up everything. So, you know, so you
can appreciate each other's characteristics and then look at the

(07:57):
genius that would have been missed in Billy and Judy
if some HR person had analyzed this and said, oh no,
we can't do this.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
We balance.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
And I think the reason I love this so much
as far as it connection with astrology, is because you
don't need to take this into this test. And I'm
not saying not to, because I think it was great
and I'm glad I did. But you can just look
at charts and get the same information, and.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
Yeah, you can. So if somebody looks at Strengths Finders.
As an example, you'll see that they have thirty four
different characteristics, and sometimes the characteristic doesn't necessarily it's like
it's not that's the word word, yes, exactly, thank you, right, ideation,
Well that's one of yours, right includer, Well what does

(08:46):
that mean? You know, it's like so you have to
get into the meanings. And of course that's what they
teach in their in their program. Well, same with astrology.
You've got to learn the language, you have to learn
how to fit things together. But this, you know, what
they're doing here is they're putting these different characteristics together
and then yes, they've done the work to see how
they interact with each other. Astrology, that's exactly what it

(09:10):
all is, and what astrology gives you are these little
lines in the chart. If you've ever looked at an
astrology chart, you know, there's all these lines in the middle,
and sometimes it can look.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
Like a really cool Yeah, it looks like a really
cool weird map.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Yeah, it's like this sacred geometry kind of symbolism. Right,
It really is that because all of the planets in
our solar system are in this great big circle around
the Sun and that's where I always stop and say, now,
how did that just happen? So when you figure that out,
call Judy at KLOU and tell her. Please, we're all

(09:46):
dying to know, you know. So they all just fell
into this circle, including our moon and it's orbit around
the Earth and the Sun because we're looking at this
from the Earth's perspective. So it's all out there in
this circle. And they are in different aspects with each other.
So one might be down at the let's say eight

(10:06):
o'clock position on the circle and one might be up
at the two o'clock position. That's an opposition. There's going
to be some stretch between those two positions. And that's
what astrology shows you. It shows you the wiring diagram
so that you don't have to interpret it. It's all
right there. And you can put your chart up, and
you can put Billy's chart up and look at them together,
which we've done. We've talked about that a little bit.

(10:27):
But here's the thing, and this is the main point
on this whole deal. That strengths finders gives you the
characteristics boom one and done today. You guys did this
in twenty twenty five. What it doesn't do is tell
you the timing of things, and astrology is precise with
the timing of things. The other thing it doesn't do

(10:51):
it doesn't show how you grow. So let's say you
took the test six years ago when you started at KLOU,
and now you did it again six years later. They
came back, so you had a baseline and now you
have today. I actually did that. I did two Strengthsfinders
tests that were about five or six years apart.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
We had people in the session that had taken it.
I would say about ten or eleven people in the
session that had taken it a few years back and
theirs had changed.

Speaker 3 (11:16):
That's the point. If yours is the same as then
you're probably a very stable capricorn. It will continue to
stay that way through your career. My dad was that
way and he had a brilliant career as a stockbroker. However,
for those of us who are on this path of
growing ourselves, if you take the test five years later

(11:37):
and it's the same as five years ago, you could
also ask, well, where's your growth? How are you evolving?
The tests should reflect that, and mine did. They were different.
So Strengths Finder, when see the thing about astrology is
on the moment that you were born. Astrology is based
on a point of origination, So the moment you were

(11:59):
born is the characteristic reflected by the sky as above
so below that you will carry through the rest of
your life. But also from that minute, the planets evolve,
they move, they change, and so do you. And we
can look through about three different lenses to find how
that is affected in our life and where we should

(12:21):
be growing on our own path. And only astrology can.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
Do that if you really are interested.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
There's a thing called evolutionary astrology, which is fantastic, which
is kind of what I think you're talking about, Thomas,
And you do such a great job narrating books by
Stephen Forrest. He is a evolutionary astrologer.

Speaker 3 (12:41):
Yeah, thank you. He's brilliant with it. And his classic
work that I was so honored to do is called
the Elements series Fire, Earth, Air Water, and he puts
his fifty plus years of astrology knowledge into four volumes
and dumped it all in there and that's what it is,
and wow, and then I got to narrate that was

(13:02):
a huge compliment. So I appreciate that, and yes, that's
what he explains, is the journey of the soul. I
like to call it the Google Map of the Soul.
I just did an all day drive yesterday and I
had to have Google Map, even though I was on
the interstates. It's like, you still want that connection with
where am I going and how am I going to
get there and how long is it going to take.

(13:24):
What strengths finders can do is say, well, you're going
to go through these towns along the way, but it
can't tell you when. It can't tell you how much
traffic there's going to be when you get there. It
just says, here are the main points. Here are the
highlights of your trip. So that's where astrology just completely
excels to me and getting ready for this, I did
some look there at that disc system, which has been

(13:47):
around for a long time in relative corporate HR terms,
but when I just saw, oh this is fire, earth,
air water, like okay, hello.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
It's crazy.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
I want to also bring out another thing, Tom, does
you do that thing on the weekends with a I
consider it a financial evolutionary astrology with the finance dude.

Speaker 3 (14:08):
Oh yeah, well, thank you for mentioning that. So I
have a podcast that comes out Monday through Saturday. It's
called fun Astrology, and it's very short episodes and we
look at the sky right now. I got in with
Ray about three years ago and he has been doing
this also about fifty years. And he is a financial consultant.
I think he came up from Goldman Sachs and then
started his own business. Yeah, so he does this on

(14:31):
an international level. Now, this is a sharp guy. This
is a financial analyst that was doing institutional level consulting
in the seventies and he studied astrology to the point
that he could observe that what astrology pointed out are
the cycles of let's say a twenty year cycle or
a thirty six year cycle or an eighteen year cycle,

(14:53):
that all of these correlate to movements in the market
and technical analysis. If you look at a stock chart,
all that is mapping is human behavior, human consciousness, the
herd mentality, if you will. Well, Ray did an overlay
and just realized that the planetary movement on top of
that shows us when these cycles are going to occur.

(15:16):
And he's built a very substantial international, worldwide business based
on that. Well, he writes a free newsletter and I
read it every Saturday, with his permission and blessing. So yeah,
it works out that if you want to hear what
they're forecasting now in these crazy turbulent times, he's going
through it brilliantly, week by week, picking it apart.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
Again.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
It's what I like to use, that evolutionary or timeline,
which only astrology seems to be able to do.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
Yeah, it's this, and you know, for those of us
who study it, we always are like wow, just continually
blown away, and we shouldn't be. It's like the cardiologist
who cuts the chest open to do an open heart
surgery and he goes, wow, this thing is beating. It
shouldn't be a surprise. It shouldn't be oh wow, the

(16:08):
look the heart's up here. It's like, this stuff should
just be Okay, here we go. Here's the entry path,
and here's the procedure, and it's all exact and it's precise,
and it really can become routine for the cardiologist because
he's done it so much and he knows exactly what
to do. Well, when you look at all of this
and you know that these things are coming and they're happening,

(16:30):
and I got to tell you right now everybody's like,
what in the world is going on. It's going on
exactly like the chart says it should be going on.
So we're looking at the headlines and not surprised.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
I highly recommend Thomas's sites because that's where I started
to learn very the basics and starting to be able.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
To learn more and more on my own.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
In fact, I was at a party yesterday for a
friend and I was able to pin down every single
person I met astrology sign just by talking to them.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
And I am not that learned on it. It's only
because I've been listening to you.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
No, it's because I've been listening to you and I've
been kind of like finding out things about them, and
they just look at me like, how did you know that?

Speaker 3 (17:13):
You know, well, you know one of your things. Let's
see which one of those that might be here.

Speaker 1 (17:18):
The well input is you want to accumulate information, yeah, and.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
Have relationships, Well there it is, Okay, there it is? Yeah,
yeah exactly.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
And connections, ideation, I mean.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
And that developer thing. So you know, this is interesting.
I'm so glad that iHeart brought that in and one day,
I know, because the millennials are so into astrology, right
now that astrology readings are going to be offered as well,
and it won't be some woo woo tainted boogeyman kind
of thing, because you can all of a sudden look

(17:50):
and say, you know, this might happen in your life
in this next twelve months, and boom it does, and
everybody can be ready for it. And then those HR
people are going to be saying, well, strengths finders can
tell us that.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
I'm telling you already, gen zers younger than millennials, they
are looking for more information with astrology, looking for jobs
that suit their astrology. And the gen zers that are
hiring those young leads in the twenties, the managers they're looking,
let's see if I want to hire.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
Let me look at this guy's charts. Oh, it's there already.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
It's there. Yeah, and it's powerful. Okay. I got to
tell you a funny billy story. I was on a
trip not long ago, and I was in my sprinter van.
So I was tooling around. In other words, and with
a sprinter van, when you tool around, you see something
interesting to you in a particularly a nice, little quaint
downtown area, you pull in. Well, I saw a little

(18:45):
ice cream shop and it said old fashioned ice cream soda,
and I haven't had one in decades. So er that
old sprinter pulled in and I jumped out and ran
in and sure enough, Judy, it was an old fashioned
soda fountain. I love out of the past. They had
a music playing on the on the station. Well, I
didn't pay any attention to it at first, but when

(19:07):
the lady was making my soda, I tuned in to
a very familiar voice. And I was in the Florida
Panhandle and here's Billy on an iHeart country station while
they're making my ice cream soda. I was like, Oh,

(19:28):
this is too wild.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
That is funny. I love that to be with a
company very very long time. He's on a lot of
stations and there there you go, there's ever yeah.

Speaker 3 (19:39):
And that's what I'm saying, is his chart just screams
all of that, and it's uh, he found his path.
Well so did you.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
So if you are interested in more information and you
want to find out just even the basics, I would
