Show podcast. I'm GD Diamond, of course, professional astrologer Thomas Miller.
It is the week of love, It's Valentine's Day, and
I know I am not the only one who wants
to know how to find out my love compatibility chart.

I totally agree. I think it is the number one
reason why people consult astrology. They want to know about
their relationships.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
And I have been told by you time again that
there is a formula you can use.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
Well there, I think it's broad, okay, And I'm going
to say this. I think that anybody can get along
with anybody else, or they can be at war with
anybody else, regardless of their signs. But there are some
characteristics that are reflected in astrology that become easier for
us to work with another person's perspective, the way that
(00:53):
they see the world, the way that they operate, and
there are ones that are more challenging as well. So
I think we have to just kind of navigate between
those two and see how the flow is. But don't
think that just because one of these formulas that I'm
going to give you indicates a particular sign is better
that you get with that sign and it works out well,

it may or may not, because a lot of that
is what has that person been through in their life?
How have they dealt with their stuff? Are they masquerading
their stuff? Have they covered it with lies and deceptions
to make themselves look like somebody that they're really not,
Even though it's a compatible sign, If that's the way
they're living their life, it's not going to be good
for you. You see how I'm saying. The variables in here
(01:35):
are just so vast that there's no way we can
pin it down to say, oh, this sign and that
sign are going to work out in the end. It
really takes the person to work something out.

But there is there is a simple formula, and I
do want to say we are going to get into
some astro speaks. So what I recommend is you may
be listening to this in your car or in the
gym or wherever. Listen through it, and then listen again.
Take no, And I will say, before we get to
the formula, I was told, early before I knew much
about astrology, that a Leo, which I am Sun sign,

would get along great with another Leo. Well, that ended
in divorce. So yeah, there's always very Yeah.

A lot of times signs with the same sign in
a relationship because they are so similar in their construct
and the way they see the world that there's not
enough variety, or the way that one LEO does life,
like we were just talking about versus the way the
other LEO does life ends up being too difficult, and
the differences of how they each see it. The other
(02:35):
is thinking that they should see it the way that
they do.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
In other words, he cheated, and I don't see cheating
is a good thing.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
Well there, that would kill any relationship. I don't care
what sign you are.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Well, let's get down to the formula here, and remember people,
this is astro speak, so you'll learn about it.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
I promise, all right, So just go with me here.
It is really a good formula and it will give
you a good idea. But you do have to kind
of navigate into astrology. A good place to start is
astro dot com. That's where a lot of people use that.
You can put up a free chart. If you have
another charting software program that you like to use, use that.
It's perfect. What you want to do, though, is put
(03:15):
the chart. I would either use the whole sign house
system or the equal house system. So in that software,
whatever software you're using, should be a setting of the
house system, and you're going to want to set it
there because it makes the houses symmetric. Most of the
charts today default to a system called placidus, and Placidus
(03:38):
makes the houses different sizes, and that makes this little
technique that I'm going to show you more difficult. So
if you can use equal or whole sign, either one
of those will work. What you want to do is
put up your own natal chart. And we know that
astrology is based on an accurate birth time, but for
(03:58):
this you actually don't even need to have that because
the planets that are in ares are going to pretty
much be in aries and all of that. All you
need to know is your son sign. So Judy, for example,
is a Leo. Her son is in Leo. So from
the sign of Leo, what you want to do is
(04:18):
look to the sign to the left and the right.
So for Judy that's Virgo and cancer. They're going to
be yeah, not so much all right, then go two out.
So for Judy's chart, that would be going two to
the left of Leo, that's Libra and two to the right.
That's Gemini. That's a ding ding ding ding Ding. That's
(04:41):
a sextile relationship to Leo. So that's a sixty degree
angle in the sky and that's favorable.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
So I could see that I get along very well
with Libras and Geminis.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
Well, you get along really good with Geminis, just because
you're both communicators, and that for you is a big
thing in your world. If some he doesn't communicate with
you the way that you communicate every day, or the
other side of that is that if somebody can't just
chill with you after fourteen hours of talking and hold
(05:12):
you and get through a wonderful evening of winding down,
that also is not going to work.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
Right, That's true, all right.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
Now count over three, go three to the left, three
to the right. For you, that would be Scorpio and Taurus.
Those are challenging. Those are square aspects. That's the most
challenging aspect in the sky. Interesting and even though you
are a Scorpio rising, it still would present challenges because

that Scorpio scorpio is going to be conflicting with each other.
There's a saying in astrology that two scorpios if they
get together romantically, it's going to be hot, it's going
to be fast, it's going to be a lot of
love making, some great sex if they don't kill each
other in the end. But those two, you would say,
could be challenging. And yet the best relationship of your

life could be a Scorpio or a Taurus.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
You know, I date a Scorpio and he wasn't romantic enough.
Like I was good with the sex and all that.
That's great because I'm into that, but I want romance
and he was not romantic at all.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
Well, and that's because it's a fixed sign. If somebody
is not romantic, Seeing his chart construct might have been
such that he didn't have that in him. Naturally he
would have to develop it and obviously has not. Yeah,
then keep counting. So we're now going to go four
to the left and four to the right. For you,
(06:39):
that would be Sagittarius and Aries. And that's a ding
ding ding ring the bell again. Oh, those are favorable signs.
And then the last two would be Capricorn and Pisces.
So that's counting five to the left, five to the right,
Capricorn and Pisces. That would be back in the Yeah, category,
it could be good. But yeah, maybe maybe.

I'm a Pisces in my moon. That might work.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Oh, that definitely could work, because that's an emotional connection.
Have you ever dated a Pisces.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
I have, and it was very, very connected emotionally. But again,
the not committing this way or that way drove me crazy. Yeah,
because those are very loyal.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
Yes, exactly. Leo's are incredibly loyal and when they are done,
they are done. The door is closed, no looking back. Yeah.
Now what about the sign that's directly across, so for you,
that's Aquarius. Well, that gets interesting from a standpoint of
an aspect, it's a more challenging aspect. But we also
(07:42):
know that opposites attract. So that's the same thing that
I was just saying, as you would have to approach
it from the perspective of maybe this could work, but
there also might be enough differences that we just would
rather say this is exhausting. You know, it's a great relationship.
I love you, I think the world of view, but
I'm exhausted. And that's what that could also represent.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
And might I say, had I known this before, I
would not have screwed up with an Aquarius. I dated
who I thought could be it? Why because I didn't
know about an Aquarius. Had I known, I would not
have pressured him so much to commit, commit, commit. He
already liked me a lot, and they if there's one
thing an Aquarius says is don't tell me what to do.
(08:26):
Do not, do not, do not, do not, And he ran.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Yeah, if you were pressuring him to commit. And and
really anybody could backpedal from that, but especially an Aquarius absolutely,
because they do beat to their own drum.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
And we would have been great had I known this
in advance. But I pushed too much and he ran.
And they will ghost you. An Aquarius will ghost as
fast as the LEO will leave. So that was it.

You know, now that you know what you know and
what you know about astrology, how could let's do a replay.
Let's do a you know the game film? Like, okay, Yeah,
it's Monday after the big game on Sunday and we're
sitting in the locker room and we're watching the film
from the game and we're coming up with a new strategy.
What would your next play be different if you had
it to do over?
Speaker 1 (09:08):
Wow? Well, first I would find out what their side is.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
Well, let's say, with this Aquarius guy, what play would
you run differently in order to have a different outcome.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
I would give him his space, because I understand needing space.
I need my space, and I would have given him
as much space as he needed.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
Now you know what would add a little extra twist
to that even how about separating, pulling back even a
little and becoming a little bit more mysterious, pull out
that Pisce's moon of yours and make him chase you.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
Ooh see that's smart. That is absolutely smart, And yes,
I would have been something could have been great, because.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
An Aquarius will figure out some kind of a radical
way to have coralled this little redhead who seems that
she's running the other direction but doesn't want her to get.
Speaker 1 (09:55):
Away, right, yes, yes, yes, yes totally.

Now that's how you can use use the characteristics of
the signs in your favor, where you say everything else
about this checks off. I love this guy, the romance
is excellent. I'm into that he's a little bit aloof
which is a characteristic of Aquarius. So now that you
understand that, you go, ah, okay, I can be okay
with that, knowing that that's who he is. And I

have a Pisc's moon and I'm a Scorpio rising, so
I can be this little mysterious shadow sometimes and not
that I'm playing with him. I'm not manipulating him with it.
I'm working with the energies. So I'm just going to
pull back a little bit, just enough that makes him
want to lean in instead of run.

Away, exactly. And you may be in a relationship where
something similar is going on. You might be married and
you're considering divorce. Maybe finding this stuff out might actually
help your relationship work.

Oh absolutely, once you learn the characteristics of the energies,
and then you can apply that to your specific relationship,
to the partner, to the person how they are wired,
because it's not just their son's sign. It's everything. It's
all their life experiences, it's their parenting, it's the geography
and the culture in which they grew up. All of

that fits right and then but you can step into
that with the use of astrology and apply something just
as simple as this, And I guarantee you that guy
would have been chasing you.
