Up until social media made its way into the world of communication and entertainment, us as Ghanaians did not realize that a number of our slangs were actually similar in spelling and/or pronunciation to other non-Ghanaian slangs.

There have been some confusing moments on social media where non-Ghanaians thought we were referring to a different situation.

To clear up these hilarious confusing situations, we discuss five (5) Ghanaian slangs (with their comparisons) that are often mistaken for other slangs.
