Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hello, one, Welcome to another episode of Slight of Taco,
where I talk about basically the uh taco life from
video games, the anime, manga like novels, basically everything to
do with people who love stuff like that. And basically

(00:26):
what i'm'a talk about today is what maybe like one
or two survival games, Zombie Apocalypse game, Zombie Apocalypse game,
and a anime that I watched. That to me, I

(00:51):
think it's what the anime, it's what I think you
would happen if something like that happen in real life.
It ain't to a point where the I guess the protagonists,
it's overly powered. He ain't got no hidden system or

(01:14):
nothing like that. And what it's called is grim Guard
or fantasy and ash. I'm sure a couple of people
have heard about it, and I'm sure some haven't, but
it's basically it's like a whole bunch of people wake

(01:38):
up in like a dark room. They being it's it's
a cad to an unknown place from Earth, but they
can't really remember nothing about where they're from. They get
like I guess you could say, like the slip up
memories of stuff that they had on Earth. But then

(02:03):
when they think about it, it's like, I guess you
can say they kind of got like amnesia, but the
only thing they can remember remember is they name. They
can't remember if they actually had a family, and when
they do kind of remember, they can't really remember they

(02:24):
name it just like glimpses or shattered shattered memories of
they past life on Earth. And the anime has like
twelve episodes or whatever, and it's like, like I said,

(02:45):
it's like a whole bunch of people that wakes up
inside this room and they have to basically become volunteer soldiers,
and it's like the only way they can make money
in the new world. It's about volunteering and getting trained

(03:09):
in like certain gills, like it's a Thieves Guild, the
Magic Guild, the Priest Warrior in different like gills like
that where they learn skills and stuff to be able
to survive in the world. And the main character is

(03:33):
hor Horror Hero, well the main characters, cause it like
follows this leftover team that got left behind cause they
was like the bottom of the bureau, I guess, And
the main character really follows it's Horror Hero, but it

(03:53):
had other main characters too, then you got supporting characters.
The main characters is from Horror hero was Party, which
our hero is a thief and he's well, he's from
the THI he's the thief of the group and he's

(04:13):
generally he generally helpful and always willing to help out
these other party members. You have Rauta, who's a dark knight,
his brash, impulsel and somewhat the pervert. Well he ain't
somewhat to pervert. He is a perver cause uh he
think about his damn peeking in on the girls and

(04:34):
stuff like that. He got Manato Monato, I think that's
like you said, which is the part of his priest
and he's the actual but he's the leader of the
group at in the first beginning. You got Mogazer, who's
the he basically in the shelf. He cooks everybody dinner

(04:56):
and he joins the warriors guild. He the tallest, the heaviest,
and he basically real nice. He kind of well, I
don't know if he's shy, but he kind of the

(05:18):
a cook, the cook of the group. Chet whatever. You
got Umie, a brave and jetty girl. She's the hunter
of the group. Shaharror she's the I used the age.
She's shy and manly, opening up to Yumie to an

(05:41):
extent Menato, whom she had feelings for, which, like I said,
Manato is the leader. He's the one who picked all
the rest of 'em who got left behind and formed
the group with them. He was protecting them any time
they get like a scratch or get cut or something

(06:02):
like that, and he was quick to heal him until
basically a incident where they start getting good and hunting
the goblins and stuff like that in the forest, and
they basically go to one of the ruins over time
to start hunting. I think that's when it gets into

(06:26):
like the third or the fourth episode. But they get
the big Head Brave or whatever, and go to the
ruins to hunt since they was doing real good in
the forests and one of the one thing needs to
another and they end up having to escape because the

(06:50):
goblins was too tough to well. While they was escaping,
Monato gets shot in the back by uh, one of
the goblins shoot 'em in the bag with a crossbow,
and he couldn't heal hisself cause he ran out of magic.
Helping his teammates or whatever. They end up blaming theyself

(07:12):
cause he ended up dying. They heartbroken and all that.
They end up finding a UH Basically, they end up
finding another UH priest who is not Mary, and she's
basically just keeps to herself. Well, they kind to find out.

(07:36):
Then she lost her whole party. Well I ain't gonna
say her whole party, well, the majority of it, cause
it was like three of 'em that ended up getting
killed in her party and the Cobalt mine and her
and one of the other party members ended up escaping.

(07:58):
Mary ended up blame her herself cause she couldn't heal
her teammates basically sort of what happened to Minatto, and
when he died, she ran out of magic power or
a matter, and she couldn't help her other three teammates,

(08:20):
so one of 'em told the last dude who was
with her to get her and escape. They end up escaping.
Mary been holding on to that since then, But I
ain't gonna tell too much more other cause I think
y'all need to actually see it. But out of all

(08:45):
I liked the anime because don't get me wrong, why
I like other animes too, but I kind of liked
this one more because it didn't got a main character
that ended up getting super strong to the point where

(09:06):
he was being beaten Bosters and anyway, it's like twenty
or thirty levels a high above him. So that's why
I like it. And I mean, if you reach it,
you really want to check it out yourself, you can.

(09:29):
I think it should be on YouTube. It's called grim Guard, Fintashing, Fantasy,
and ash and I think it's on I don't know
if it's on Netflix or Hulu. You might be on
too be. I just wish they would have made uh

(09:54):
second season of it because it was real good. But
the two games that I'm gonna talk about is, like
I said, zombie apocalypse games. They like the closest games
that I think it will be like if it happened
in real life. Like I said, I think these is

(10:20):
the closest, the closest games that I've seen and played
that it will be close to how real zombie hard
what happened in real life. The one is follow Up
seventy six because I think what that basically what happened

(10:40):
was nuclear explosions. People had to hide in bunkers and
stuff like that, and anybody who didn't hide in the
bunkers either survived somehow mutated into goules and federal goals.
Everything mutated and changed. You had super mutants, basically mutated

(11:11):
cockroaches and other things, which would happen if that somebody
had dropped a nuclear bomb or nuclear explosion. You look
what happened to Chernoble nuclear reaction. Fucked up and it's
still a radio weight? Is it still a radioactive order?

(11:31):
If you ain't got no type of suit on you
basically fucked. If you go over there, got mutated animals
over there, probably mutated insects and everything else. And the
next one is state of decay, which I think that

(11:54):
was real close cause, I mean, if it was to
happen in real life, you'll have people who tryna kill
you for what you got. You have people tryna survive.
Gotta go into different places to look for some supplies.
You'll have to find some type of ones. Yeah, place

(12:19):
the damn bunk her down, and you have to find
what material to build a base or fix up your
home to where people can't break in or something like that.
You'll have to find material resources for food, weapons, medical supplies,

(12:45):
and gas for car for cars and stuff like that.
You'll have to be worried about who's your enemy and
who's your friend. Then you might have to worry about
who's your friend and who might turn into your enemy.
Where else your quickest place to find supplies it and

(13:17):
a good place to set up a base or where
you can lay your head down and not have to
be worried about something happened to you while you sleep.
You'll have to find build something to where you can
havel look outs just in cases imbies calm, or just

(13:43):
in case somebody try to take you so you can defend.
But those two games right there is the closest two
games I think to real life, to where it simulates
in real life how apocalypse will happen nuclear bomb and

(14:11):
some type of zombie viral and fiction which the way
things kind going around, and shit, I won't be surprised
if it happen for real. I think that's all I
wanna talk about for the to day. But turning in

(14:31):
you can find you might be able to find a
new game to play, new light and out of to read,
or a animator watch. Listening to my podcast
