Hola, amigos! Today we are going to read 3 interesting poems in Spanish. I will be reading the poems in Spanish very slowly and you will try to understand word by word. You will be learning some interesting words and new vocabulary and also you will be improving your listening skills in Spanish. I will translate the poems in English and then read in Spanish again in a normal speed but explaining some words at the same time..

‘En las noches claras’ de Gloria Fuertes
En las noches claras,
resuelvo el problema de la soledad del ser.
Invito a la luna y con mi sombra somos tres.

‘Despedida’ de Alejandra Pizarnik
Mata su luz un fuego abandonado.
Sube su canto un pájaro enamorado.
Tantas criaturas ávidas en mi silencio
y esta pequeña lluvia que me acompaña

‘La montaña rusa’ de Nicanor Parra
Durante medio siglo
La poesía fue
El paraíso del tonto solemne.
