the Harvest Festival that's coming up at Saint John American

Lutheran Church on October eleventh, eleven am till two pm.
And there's a lot of fun stuff that happens at
this event, isn't there, Ryan?

There is. This is a great annual event that Sant
John puts on year after year. The great cause of
what it goes to the free will offering events. So
we are going to be serving up some soups which
range from chicken noodle, chili potato, and then we're gonna
have those who love pies, We're gonna have all different

kinds of pies available to try it. We're going to
also be having a fake sale of a lot of
good good treats plus one of my favorite, the Lefsa
the Norwegian lefso yeah, as well, we're going to have
many different silent auction items from different seamed baskets to
look through and as well as some process to the

sky Force game for this upcoming season, so many things
to kind of check out. Some of those donations will
benefit Lutheran World Hunger, Angel Food which is a distribution
that we provided at Saint John as well as the
Super Bowl School District Angel Food Funds, which is always
a great cause.

Absolutely again, the Harvest Festival, it's going to be here
before you know it. It is October eleventh from eleven
am till two pm. That's on a Saturday, free will offering,
so if you want to come out and be a
part of it. But there's a lot of fun stuff,
like you was saying, soup and pine lunch, bake sale,
silent auction, LEFSA. I'm a LEFSA fan as well. And
here's the thing. I did not grow up having LEFSA

when I was a kid. You know, we didn't have
that at my family events. But then as I got
a little older, I have several people that we're in
my life that had lefs at their family events, and
I'm like, wow, this is amazing why and I never
had this before. It's good stuff, isn't it.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
It's great stuff. I love it. It's always the thing
that seems to sell out at all these different church
functions that go on throughout the city, and so I'm
sure it will be a hot item for selling really quick.
So come on out right at eleven and we'll be
looking to have fun with this selfcoming event.

and that is on West thirteenth Street in Sioux Falls.
So if you are not a member there, you're still
