Speaker 1 (00:13):
Hey, and welcome back to the Soul Podcasting podcast, the
place where soulful creators and visionary entrepreneurs learn to amplify
their voice and grow their influence with purpose. I'm Dimitrio Zinga,
your podcast strategist and founder of the Soul Podcasting Collective.
This is your quick Tip episode Midweek, packed with insights
that you can put into action right away. And remember

(00:35):
that as of this summer twenty twenty five, interviews have
been dropping on Sundays and longer solo episodes land midweek,
so make sure you subscribe for the full mix. All Right, Today,
we're answering a question that I get a lot, and
it's what's the best day to publish your podcast? And
it turns out that this isn't just about timing. It's
about aligning your release schedule with your audience's listening habits

(00:58):
and your content strategy. So I'm breaking down why this
matters and how you can pick a day that works
for you and your listeners. So tip number one is
know your audience's routine. Most podcasts drop early in the week,
so that would be Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, because people
listen during commutes or work hours. But if your audience

(01:20):
is entrepreneurs who binge content on weekends or parents who
listen in the evenings, then your ideal day might be different.
So look at your analytics or just ask your community
when do they have time to listen, and then publish
when your audience is ready. That's half the battle. Okay.
Tip number two consistency beats any quote unquote perfect day.

(01:42):
So while day choice matters, showing up reliably is more important.
Pick a day that you, as the podcaster, can commit
to week after week. Don't switch around too much because
your listeners come to expect your episodes and that builds
trust and habit. So I recommend picking a day that
fits your production schedule without stress. Now quick note, if

(02:05):
you want help analyzing your podcast's performance or building a
content schedule that fits your lifestyle and your audience, I
offer personalized coaching and done for you services, so you
can head over to Soulpodcasting dot com to learn how
I can help you to get clear and consistent with
your podcast. All right back to our tips, So my

(02:26):
next tip for you, Tip three is to use publishing
day to boost your marketing and once you pick your day,
lean into that day schedule your email newsletters, your social
media posts, and launch your announcements around that release time.
I personally like to publish a midweek and schedule posts
to drop right after to maximize that visibility. But when

(02:49):
your marketing aligns with your publishing, your podcast gets a
bigger boost. So try to connect those two things where
you're not only scheduling your days to publish your for
your podcast, but also how you're going to market that effectively.
And lastly, and this is a super short episode, guys,
but I just wanted to drop you this encouragement to

(03:10):
let you know that this is something that I am
hoping to help you with on this show, on this
podcast as a free resource, but also I would love
to help you as your personal podcast coach. Just remember,
choose a day that fits your audience and your schedule.

essentially be your secret sauce. And if you want that
