Hello everybody, and welcome to anotherepisode. It's the first episode of
April, and yeah, it wasan incredible way to end the month of

(00:41):
March last Wednesday with the relationship episode. But yeah, today we're just gonna
get into an incredible, incredible episode, something that's like dear to my heart.
But without further ado, let mejust introduce to you my guests for
today. Got someone that you knowvery well, mister TEKOI Bro, welcome

(01:04):
back. Man. How are youdoing? Man? Better do what I
do? What I do? Thanks, thanks for inviting me once again.
Man, like k I don't knowif you know, and I don't know
if I mentioned this the first time, but UZ's nickname is Kutzie, so
yeah, yeah, yeah, hedid. I did all those mbolbing listeners
are like, but yo, Bro, like everyone that's named Kuzai is known

(01:27):
as kutzi. But we're gonna forgiveyou. We're gonna forgive you for that
one. But Bro, like thelast time we met, you say,
the first thing you're gonna do outof lockdown is go to your barber,
Bro. So did you manage todo that? Bro? Listen like,
I don't remember. That's the thing. I think I actually saw Bob rah
before I went to my bob Bye. Hey, dog, do you know

(01:51):
do you know what's funny? Dog? Like? I was here thinking that
you were like you you're not gonnasee your special frame first, but I'm
glad you read yourself. But speakingof special friends, we've got Barbara here
with us. How are you doing, Barbara? And by the way,
Barbara has like an incredible YouTube channel, so I think we're gonna plug you.

(02:12):
We're gonna plug you into that becauseyou're Yeah, the stuff there is
involved in there as well. ButBarbara, how are you doing? I'm
fabulous? And how are you?Because I I'm good. Thanks, I'm
just getting child here by of course, but you know that that wouldn't be
happening for long because you know I'llbe chowing. But yeah, yeah,

(02:34):
you know that's funny because Dougie,is it that great final day by post
side, because that'll be fine.Hey bro, No, I'll be fine.
Indeed, we we have to pullthrough, you know. And today
we're going to be speaking of theblood, which is gonna help me to
conquer a man. I was tosay it, but guys, yo,

(03:00):
guys are we just came out ofan incredible conference and we're just going to
speak a little bit about Easter becauseyeah, a lot of people underrate Easter,
and I think it's it's only it'sonly fitting for us to speak about
it. So getting straight into that, this is a question to both of
you, and I just want tohear your perspectives on this. But why

(03:23):
do you think we celebrated Easter?Circle? We can start with you,
bro, thank God? Why whydo we? I think? I think,
firstly, man oh man, Andthat's that's really something that we need
to understand when it comes to God. Is everything is personalized, everything is

(03:43):
unique, everything is it's not aone size it's all you feel what I'm
saying because all different people and allof that stuff, and that's really for
me at least the story of Easter. And that's what I'm answering the question
I am, because yes, betwe can talk about, yes, the
resurrection of Jesus, but what doesthat mean, you know, and what
it means to me is different towhat it means to Barbara. It is
different to what it means to Kuldie. You feel what I'm saying. So

(04:05):
yeah, man, for me,that why we celebrate Easter. That's that's
the game changer. Like like yousaid, like we chattered about the blood
and all of that, That's that'sthe game changer. That's that lets me,
that's what enables me and empowers meto be able not to just survive,
but to thrive, to go aboveand beyond, to conquer because of

(04:27):
every that that Jesus did in leadingup to the cross, because Jesus was
a dope individual, a dope man. The most personally asked me, you
know, but I cannot access theway he moved and I cannot fulfill what
he's called me to fulfill unless Easterand where what what happened the seven places
he shed the blood? You know, unless all of that that took place.

(04:51):
So yeah, yeah, yeah, that's me, all right, cool,
bro, Thank you for that.Man and Barbara, why why do
you think we celebrate personally? Ithink it's it's sort of like very similar
to what what said, and thefact that it's a very personal thing.
I think for me, Easter there'salways a time of like reflection and just

(05:12):
looking at the way my life hasbeen going and where it should be,
where I'm not conquering, where Ican do better, because if not,
what is the point? What iswhat is the why? What is the
why? Okay, so just keepingyeah, let me let me just keep
you here to answer the next question. But like when when I was speaking

(05:36):
to Takeo, actually I'm on acourt the other day, I was like,
I personally think Easter is more importantthan Christmas. You know, but
Christmas comes with all the you know, the nice things, the presence and
all the stuff I know with Easterdays, the Easter bunny, Easter eggs.
But you know, Christmas is seenon a on a bigger scale then

(05:59):
then than Easter. So I wantto ask you this, do you think
Easter is more important than Christmas?Just before we get into what Easter is
really about? More important, I'mnot about more important. I think maybe
they're probably on an equal scale becauseChristmas is where we receive the actual gift,
but Easter's where the power is unlocked. So I don't really think that

(06:23):
there's one more important than the other. I think it's just all about making
sure that you don't really get caughtup in the whole commercial side of everything,
but really taking the time to sitdown consider what the day actually means.
Easter wouldn't have happened if Christmas canhappen, you know what I'm saying,
Yeah, like, yeah, asmuch. It's almost am I going

(06:44):
to do this about chicken or theegg? You feel them saying like like
legit, the the eggs such aclouded Like I'm just taking my head like
yo, say the one. Idon't say needed the other, but like

(07:06):
they equally like magine, I thinkI just put up been a commercial hype
and stuff of things, and noteven just the commercial hype, just that
I think also just like obviously theyoung people, you know, so just
the way in which there's no awarenessas to why, like this is a
big deal you know for some peoplestudies, you know, but what does

(07:30):
it actually mean? You know? For some people it's like okay with them.
But you know, but what doesit actually mean? You know?
So yeah, yeah, yeah,no, one hundred percent, Like I
really hadn't thought about that. Butmoving on, gie, So why is
Easter important? You know, we'retalking of why we celebrated, which one
is more important than the other, but like, why is Easter on its

(07:53):
own important? We spoke a littlebit about the blood and I think this,
you know, yoah, the bloodis just strong. Guys. So
I think there's so much to sayabout this, but just to summarize it
over this episode, bro, Like, why is Easter actually important in our
lives? I don't know who wantsto take it first? Then let's go

(08:13):
and takeo. Bro, Like whatdo you think that? Bro? Like,
it's it's really just about the merefact that Easter is not Easter.
Sorry, but what Jesus down theCross is what gives me the right to
be able to to really walk outthe purpose God has for my life.
And this is why I say that, because at the end of the day,
I'm a human being and I'm goingto mess up enough, messed up

(08:35):
and disappointed many people I've made.Wow, Guys, Like like I'm a
mess you know, Like, yeah, I'm a horrendous like you know,
and God is working on me,you know. But the only reason that
I can still boldly say Lord here, I am Lord me, and still
boldly come to the throne of Graceand still boldly be a child of God

(08:58):
is because the despite the fact thatI as an individual am messed up and
broken have issues for days thinking mannerright, Jesus on the Cross said no,
no, no, no, no, let me take upon that nature
right and then interview do what I'msaying. So that's that's that's the thing
is a lot of times like peoplejust live and this is especially like this

(09:20):
is like I'm going to go there, you know, like in South Africa
particularly, you know, and I'mspeaking because I'm South African context. I
can't think about this and Uganda andall those places because I don't have context.
But in South Africa, if you'reblack, you know, like chances
are you are probably raised in aChristian you know, where you did Christian
go to church, you know,so you're very familiar with like what it

(09:43):
is now was really like my experience, you know, like you're very familiar
with RGE all of this stuff, and it may even be saved but really
living in the freedom of that salvation. You feel what I'm saying, like
like you are, yeah, soso like the gates has been unlocked,
you know, the prison door hasbeen unlocked, but just still inside.
So you're free to go, butjust still inside. And that's what the

(10:07):
blood does. What Jesus did onthe cross is what affords me the ability
to be able to stand strong inauthority space, to be able to say,
no, I bind you, Jesus, Why I bind you, devil,
Why because Jesus went and he literallytook the keys to the gates of
Hades. I can't do any ofthat stuff unless what Jesus did happens.
And that's why I say it's thegame change up, because I can be

(10:28):
saved and still live under the curse. Right, but when the curse of
whatever it is that my family mistakes, my family's made generational curses because of
poverty, because of whatever it is. But Jesus says, it doesn't have
to be that way, because Itook all of that upon me, so
that you don't have to live thatway, you know. So the first
Adam came in Adam and he mushedright, and then Jesus came the second

(10:50):
Adam and all of that upon himself, and he said, so that you
can live freely. So yeah, that's that's really the the profoundness behind is
that. And again everything it needsto be personal. So everything I'm speaking
to you as about is like personal. You know, the identity is very
personal to me. You know,I'm not a yeah yeah yeah, like

(11:13):
like yeah again, I've got issuesfor days, you know, But I
know I know that, I knowthat, I know that, I know
that, I know you know, like you were saying, because I'm fact,
that you will conquer because of becauseof the blood. Yes, academics,
it's a literal garish and all ofthose things, but you will conquer
because because of the blood. You'veseen it before, you know, you
know it. You know that Ican't not my ability because who am I?

(11:35):
I can't because Jesus said so andbecause Jesus did it for me.
So yeah, yeah, I thinkwhat's cool about that is that God literally
expects the baer minimum from us whenit comes to being able to apply the
blood in your life, Like there'sno sort of qualification or you know,
track record that you should have keptin order to qualify for whatever it was

(11:58):
that or speaking about. Do youliterally just have to say yes, that's
all it's about. It's about knowingand then saying yes and then walking out
in it. Yeah. So,Barbara, can you just explain to the
to the listeners what the blood is, because you know, we've spoken off

(12:18):
we conquered by the blood, butthere's a lot of people that actually don't
understand what the blood is. Andyou know, we know that obviously Jesus
had to bleed because he was whippedand everything, right, but what does
it represent, you know, eacheach drop of that blood. So do
you just mind have giving a shortexplanation to those that don't understand? I

(12:39):
think pad one, I can fullyrelate to those people. Okay, I
used to be that person, Likeascension days, good Friday, you know,
we'd all go to the whole forassembly and the head muster always brings
this case speaker and they're speaking aboutGod knows what, and you're always just
sitting there like, yes, definite, the same thing. Yeah, yeah,

(13:03):
but you don't really know what's goingon. And then I got saved
and I get to church and youhear about the cross and the revelation of
the cross, and oh, therevelation of the cross. And once you
have the revelation of the cross, the blood will do what what's in It's
just like okay, yeah, youknow, yeah, yeah. But like
I said right at the beginning, what the blood is is a personal personal

(13:28):
relationship with God. It's you sittingand saying, Okay, this is where
I fall short. Jesus dies,so that I don't have to fall shorts.
It's a matter of me stepping upand acknowledging where I'm at and saying,
God, I'm here, I needyou to fill the caps. And
that's what the blood does. Theblood basically builds the bridge from where you're
at and where you need to be. That makes sense. And there's something

(13:50):
so interesting that you were saying. And I love it because, like you
mentioned the revelation of the cross, and you know, for those that don't
meaning of revelation, it means likesomething's revelled to you. So the fact
that you have a revelation of thecross means that now you can understand what
the blood is about. So youcan't understand the blood without having a revelation

(14:13):
of the cross. Just something thatI think is crazy. That's what was
saying about the whole like it's apersonal revelation at the end of the day,
like before we even get to theblood, you for yourself and you
have a relationship with God. Youfeel me, it's like this and this
is this has blown my mind.Right, I have a relationship with my
mom, you know, So ifif someone comes to me and says,

(14:33):
so, your mom doesn't love you, like I don't even pay attention to
that, you know, I'm sayinglike, I'm like, this is a
joke, Like do you not havedon't you have like go study? Don't
you have an assignment to you?Like? Right? I know that I
know that. I know that that'snot the case. You feel me,
you know, because because I haverelationship with this individual, and that's what

(14:56):
it is, that's what it thoughtsis because you have relationship with God.
Because I have relationship with Backs, right, no one can come and say
anything about Backs that because I knowbecause I have relationship with Backs. I'm
the one's on the film with facts, you know. So because I have
relationship with that relationship with Barbara, whatever they say to me about them that
doesn't corroborate with my relationship with themis immediately dismissed by me because I'm like,

(15:20):
that's not the King, you feelme. So that's where it starts
at the end of the day.Okay, cool, Do I have a
relationship with God because God contraveals somethingto you. If you don't know,
you don't have relationship, like likeinside. And that's where everything ultimately starts,
is having a relationship but for yourself, not through another individual, you

(15:41):
know, because you can fully havea quaintincebus chatting to backs about the fact
that I know or I'm cool withone of her friends, but her friend
is not my friend. I knowthat friend through backs, and that's sometimes
the issue is we know God throughpeople, but it's not like anyone else
spoken stuff here. Oh man,If I'm just sitting with this friend,

(16:03):
it's like, hey, how's theweather? Oh yes, okay. And
that's one thing I hate. Ireally hate shallow conversation personally because I'm like
so much going on, like lifeis really let's chat about the real stuff.
But because I've done a relationship withyou and I we're busy talking about
oh the school there, school there, which is fine, Like I don't
mind, it's just like, let'sget to the integrity because I'm a relationship.
You know, there's there's this isthis is all we can chat about
at this point in time, andthat's that's that's the thing is. It's

(16:27):
it's about you personally have a relationshipwith them, and that's really that's really
what it is. That's really whatwill change your life is not doing things,
doing religious things or going to religiousoccasion and all of that stuff,
because because what happens when all ofthat's taken away, you know, it's
about you and God. Yeah, and that's what Lockdown did to a lot
of people's relationship with God. Relieveit exposed where we're at, like like

(16:51):
super sorry to jump in, bro. So is it revelation first being relationship
or relationship and revelation? Relationship thenrevelation, that's revelation. I think revelation
comes as a result of the relationship. Yeah, one hundred percent, because
you won't get it, Like andyou know what I'm saying, like you,

(17:12):
if I don't know why, orif I don't know you, I
won't understand why, because that's whatrevelation is. It's like, uh,
you know, like I'm trying toI try to be finding I wanted to
be finding. A synonym for revelationis epiphany, which is like not that
much of a help, but likelike yeah, like I won't if I
don't know the person, I won'tknow why the person is doing what they're

(17:34):
doing. And that's the revelation isthat is that you are unfailing. You
are revealing, right, because that'sthe the verb form of revelation. You
are revealing right, what it isthat you would like me to, how
you'd like me to move, whatit is you're about. You know that
doesn't happen if I don't have therelationship. I can't reveal something to someone

(17:56):
I don't know, you know.Yeah, so Bob, we're talking about
Easter, right, so now right, you know, we know what the
blood does, we know what theblood did. We know it's about personal
relationships, right, so you know, I think one of the most important
acts that Jesus did was was toyou know, come back to life and

(18:22):
tell us what the resurrection of Jesusactually means on its own, you know,
the day that he came out ofthere too. You know, why
was it so significant for the humanrace because he can't cut down, you
can't get death you know something, the laugh of being so serious you do
conquer death, and it's it defieseverything, like you can't, you can't,

(18:48):
you can't fight, you can't.I'm trying to englishize this as best
as I possibly can, but it'sit was the turning point because it's like
the devil does something and he thinks, Okay, now I finally got them.
But then Jesus does the exact oppositeof what was expected, is to

(19:08):
just carry on living his life. And then it's like, oh, what
must happen now? And it literallyjust shows you just how big and how
powerful Jesus is because hey, man, really rely fully fully like that the
Resurrection of Jesus right number one,it's like the greatest aple fool's joke eight

(19:30):
in the history of history. Guys, do you understand, Like you thought
you killed this guy? Then he'slike, good morning, surprise, you
know what I'm saying? Like, what is this? Guys? Like he's
dead, Dan Sand, He's dead. He's dead, like he died,
not sleeping for a long time,he's day, not sick, he's dead.

(19:51):
Then, see, guys, soyou're and how dope is that?
That's like, oh my goodness,Jesus, so was the Undertaker before the
Undertaker to undertake? Couldn't you can'tI'd like to say, like it's fully
defied everything that you know, Likeyou think you know, and then this
man dies and you see him die, think you see this man die.
Then then you see him on Sundaything ticketing, ticketing, think thinking thing,

(20:17):
Now he's coming out of the Ithought you're gonna I bet you're gonna
do the Undertaker song. That notimagine Jesus running out of the tea tangle.
So so yeah, guys, it'sjust as bad as people. He
bro, Like, I'm sorry tocut you off, bro, but like

(20:38):
the crazy thing about when you know, you say he conquered death, it's
not just literal death obviously he youknow, he rose up again, you
know, in the physical. ButDave represents a lot of things. Hey
like it. It signifies you know, poverty straight to whatever, and you

(21:00):
conquered all those stuff, you know. And I think for me that's why
I'm like, yo, Easter isreally important because now when I'm depressed,
I remember on the Cross Jesus conqueredthere, you know, when I'm getting
child by a course, I remember, well, Jesus conquered there and I
don't have to worry anymore. AndI think that's the that's the greatest thing

(21:21):
as a Christian, knowing that youdon't have to live in worry. Bro.
Like it's crazy because like the thingis like it's in the Bible,
like death has lost its thing becauseit has that is like the absolute final
thing that you can ever do toan individual. You feel me is like,
you know, killed it because whenit's done done, But if death
doesn't even get you down, whatis it that can? You know what

(21:41):
I'm saying, and that that's thething is that death has genuinely lost it
sting. That's why it's so importantman, And this is this is why
for me personally, like my myheart. I was chatting to a man
yesterday and we're busy speaking about mystudies. I tell them I being my
family all of that stuff things Okay, now cul cuckoo. Then I was

(22:02):
like, yeah, a plan todo. Then it's like, oh okay,
cool. Then you're going to America. Then I'm like no ways,
Like like what do you mean I'mgoing to America? You know, because
I really have a burning passion forAfrica. It is burning people, It
is burning. It's oh my goodness, gracious me, right, it is.
You know that you have is insaneand paralleled, you know what I'm

(22:26):
saying. So, yes, thingsright now may seem desperate. Things right
now may seem like like, youknow, desolately, may seem like,
you know, like there's no hope, there's no tomorrow. But if Jesus
con death, what is if Jesusconquered death, what is sickness? If
Jesus conquered death vision, If Jesusconquered death, what is disease? What

(22:49):
is poverty? What? What? What are all these things that clague us
as Africans? What is unemployment? If Jesus conquered death. And that is
why I can be a person whohas hope for the tomorrow, because I
know that Jesus, Guys, hesays on the Cross, John nineteen thirty
right to less time. It isfinished. It's done, like guys,

(23:11):
we're moving on like the series isfinished now, you know, it's over.
There's not another season coming. Okay, we're done, like signs a
little bit like it's a bit,you know, And that's why we can
go forth and be people who ineverything that you do because it's done,
like Jesus took care of them.Yeah, it's finished. Yeah yeah,
and Jesus just that swag man likesorry, there's just a side, guys,

(23:36):
but you're just imagine you're dying andthen your last words are it is
finished in three days later? Whatup? It ain't you finished? But
now I'm kidding guys, but no, that's just that's just in case.
So just getting into some fun questionsbecause you know, we are competitive people,

(23:56):
because we are human beings. SoI got a little bit of a
trivia. Uh, I've got sometrivia for you guys. Who should I
start with? Who should I startwith? Who knows? Who thinks they
know Easter? No? This isthis is this is war Barbara, this
serious stuff. Okay. Let melet me start with teco bro. Where

(24:22):
did the Easter bunny legends begin?Germany, England, Spain, for Italy
Germany? One hundred percent? Onehundred percent, So that's one point,
that's one point, he Barbara,no pressure, no pressure, but from

(24:49):
your Christian Barbara. Where did theact of painting Easter eggs originate? From
Russia? Croatia? Crazy? No, that's wrong. You see, you
should have let me finish. Youknow, you're the people that don't answer

(25:10):
the questions. But so do youwant to hop onto that onto that I
will after this? No, Ido know what? Okay, back back
to like those people who like youknow, you receive like your exam question

(25:30):
paper, right, you see questionone like take questions like I question for
like I because it's like get tosomething I know. Then you get to
christs and it's like you've only donehalf of question one. So yeahs personally,
I was I was gonna say Russia. Hey, that was gonna be

(25:51):
my answer, you see, becausethey those little get those little yeah,
yeah, yeah, Okay, no, you guys, you guys, you
guys are close. But it's it'sthe country next to Rassia. It's Ukraine.
But I think I think you guys, you guys, I think that
was a good good try, agood try. But okay, so it's

(26:15):
the one zero two taco and thenticco. Your next question and your last
question. By the way, ispresels used to be associated with Easter,
true or false. Pretzels used tobe associated with false. All right,
so yeah, that answer is wrong. It's true. Pretzels actually used to

(26:38):
be associated with easter. So I'mjust I'm literally just, I'm just the
messenger, bro, I'm just themessenger here. These affects, you know,
did I just want to get thequestions right. That was so much
like like confidence, like embarrassed. You know, you know when when you

(27:03):
when you get out of examine, you think you've child died, right,
and then it turns out that you'vebeen child all right? Cool? Last
question? I think this one isan easy one. In Germany, it
is illegal to dance in public onGood Friday. True or false. Ex

(27:26):
Germany is a rough country. It'sillegal through a fall in public. I'm
gonna go with the answer is wrong. It's true. In Germany. It's
actually illegal to dance in public yousee Friday in some states, in some

(27:52):
states but most states. But ah, yeah, guys, I think,
yeah, you are right and wrong. I think we'll give you a half
mark. But either way it cyclewins because he had one full question correct,
so I win by association. Yeahyeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

(28:12):
I feel like I'm wheeling on thatone because that stuff. But guys
has been terrific having you guys yettoday, And I'm sure for those people
that did not understand what Easter isall about. Have a little bit of
a picture when it comes to EasternNow, so thank you for coming on,

(28:33):
Barbara and Circle. Thanks so thankyou for having no problem. And
yes, listeners, we are donefor today and I just want to thank
and Barbara once again. Barbara again, Like I told you guys, has
an insane YouTube channel. So Iam going to plug you with that.

(28:55):
I'm gonna put the link in thedescription. Yeah, apparently she's gonna win
the South African and the best YouTubeSouth African person. Apparently we're on the
street. Yes, we're gonna plugyou with it that. But yeah,
guys, thank you guys for reallylistening to this podcast. We hit a
