Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to Spacing Out with BB and Jason this week
covering Battlestar Galacticas season three, episode four, Exodus, Part two.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Yes, welcome back.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
I'm Baby and I'm Jason, and this is spacing Out
where we get to dive into a piece of science fiction,
specifically Battlestar Galactica, And if we want to discuss anything
involving spoilers, we will wait till the end of the podcast,
otherwise we won't be spoiling anything past this episode, which
is Battlestar Galactica Season three, episode four, Exodus, Part two.

(00:38):
This aired on October twentieth, two thousand and six. Written
by Bradley Thompson and David Weddell, was directed by Felix
Enrique Alcala, and we once again have no specified survivor count.
In this episode, Colonel Tye poisons Ellen, his wife for
her betrayal, and the Galactica and the Resistance on New

(01:00):
Africa launch attacks against the Cylons, which allows the humans
to escape on the ships. These Cylons evacuate the planet
Baltar and the Cylons come across the Child Hera and
then as Galactica is facing destruction, Apollo swoops in with
the Pegasus, allowing the Galactica to escape, and the Pegasus

(01:20):
is sacrificed, and then the celebration ensues as everyone is
reunited almost everyone.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Vibe check. Did we like the episode overall? How does
it stand the test of time?

Speaker 3 (01:36):
All? Right, BB, what did you think?

Speaker 2 (01:38):
I like it?

Speaker 3 (01:39):
It was good.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Second, all the little strings were tied, but it's still
lacky with some something look forward to in the next episode.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Yeah, it kind of like HiT's the reset button in
some ways where we get back to We're going to
get back to what Battlestar Galactica has been with them
back on Galactica and on the search for Earth. We
can also tell like everything's not going to be the
same as it was.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
No, things have changed, people have changed. Yeah, eyes have
been lost, lives, I've been.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
This is easily one of my favorite episodes. Yeah. Yeah,
it's just it's a really big episode. It's really exciting,
and it's got a lot of payoff for stuff that's
been set up for several episodes, and it's like it's
also kind of heartbreaking at the same time, especially around
Colonel Tye. And yeah, so it's just a big one.
Every not every episode can be this episode, Like, you

(02:33):
have to really build to it, and you have to
have all these established relationships with characters. It's probably an
expensive episode too. It's so action packed. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
They had a lot of space scenes with CGI and stuff,
lots of battle explosion things.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Yeah. So yeah, I just think it's a really impactful episode.
It tends to choke me up, like to choke I'll
dare you turned my emotions into it.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Joke trivia time? What facts could we uncover for Exodus
Part two?

Speaker 3 (03:07):
I mentioned this before, but Exodus was conceived as one episode.
It was expanded into two episodes, and that's the reason
they aired the first two episodes of the season as
a two part permire because they didn't want to spend
too much time on this new Kaprica storyline. But since
the episodes were so expensive with all the new sets
and locations, that splitting the episode into two parts actually

(03:29):
helped financially because they got kind of two for the
price of one in a lot of ways. And it
also serves as storytelling as well, to really fit all
that into two parts instead of cramming into one. These
sets of the Pegasusts occupied a lot of space and
so They never intended the Pegasusts to remain on the
show indefinitely. They were just looking for a way to

(03:50):
find a meaningful way to destroy it in order to
free up some studio space. So they figured it out
in this episode. That's funny, which means we'll have some
new sets come in this episode. One an Emmy Award
for Outstanding Special Visual Effects for a Series.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
I bet it was when the Dama shaved his mustache.
It really got them out of the edge.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
Yep. Definitely wasn't the Galactica jumping into the atmosphere and
launching vipers.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
That was really cool. And then then it disappeared again
and next to that gate and there was like a whoosh. Yeah,
because normally we see it in space and it's just
a quite riep. When it was near the ground with
gravity and all these other effects, it was really cool.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
It was very cool. But according to their science advisor
Kevin R. Grazier, if the Glaciaga were to jump into
an atmosphere of a planet and then free fall to
the surface, that the gravitational forces would rip it apart
long before it hit the ground because of its size
and shape. That's what I thought, So they took a

(04:54):
little artistic liberty to give us an awesome shot.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Yeah. Yeah, because that shipped that look like it was
built to kind of trate an atmosphere.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
No, but I did hear like Ronald D. Moore was
like the kind of defending it being like the ship
we've seen it like take nuclear blast, so like we
don't really know what it's made out of, but it
can take a hell of a hit.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Yeah, deep space dive. Let's break down some of our
thoughts on the episode. You can share your thoughts with
us through email, Facebook, or Twitter. We may use your
comments on an upcoming episode.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
We start off with Apollo and Dee and Apollo he's
struggling with his orders to stay out of the battle.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
He's very supportive, and then she talks about how she's.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Like, you're and I love a damas.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Yeah, like I don't care who you are, but your
last name is why I married you. She wants to
be a Madama.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
So Colonel Dye, he sits down with Ellen to talk
about how she betrayed the Resistance, gives her a drink.
It's poisoned.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
It takes the drink.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
Well, yeah, I do have a question of like does
she know what's happening? Knows?

Speaker 2 (06:06):
I think she knows. For the drink, yeah, I think
she knows, like or maybe she's expecting it to be whiskey,
because you know that guy probably does drink a little
Irish coffee in the morning.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
Yeah, I don't know. I feel like it's a little
open ended whether she knows or not.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
But I think it's interesting that she has that monologue
about how she would frack anyone and do anything to
protect him.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
Yeah. She kind of makes Tye's choice a little more
easier because she's like, I would do all of it again. Yeah,
I would sell out anyone.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
I would do like I didn't mean for people to
get hurt, But I'm not ashamed of my choices because
you're here now. And that was pretty admirable. I think
for her, even though what she did is flawed, she
stands by her reasoning because she's she cares about him deeply,
and it's deeper than just like a sexual connection with them.
They're married, they're partners, and I think she had a

(07:02):
hard time living her life without him for however long
he was in there.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Yeah, So it's not like you can't see her side
of it. Because you clearly can, which makes it that
much more like heartbreaking.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
I was surprised that it just took one sip for
her to just keel over.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
I thought he was just like drugging her so he
could sneak her in. I misread the whole situation. I
didn't think he was killing her until she didn't show
up at the end and I was like, oh, damn,
he really killed her.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
I thought it was just like, you know, tuck her
away and she just kind of appears later like she
did in the beginning, just randomly shows up. No, but
he straight up murdered her. It was interesting that it
was poisoned too, because he could have done it a
different way. Poison preserves the body, so it's not to

(07:54):
like mutilate it in any way. It's kind of it's
typically associated with women because it's a gentler way of dying.
Maybe I don't think it is personally, Like, I think
being poisoned would probably be more gross. In my head,
I imagine somebody getting sick instead of just quietly limping

(08:15):
down and passing out. Yeah, I imagine like vomitying diarrhea,
like real sick poison.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
Yeah. Whatever, poison that was was really efficient and not messy.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Yeah, fictional poison, movie poison.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
Yeah, I mean it could have been something that was
like a heavy sedative that kicks in before the actual
poison goes to work.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
But yeah, I've heard poison referred to as like a
like a women's weapon before. Yeah, like they say that
on Game of Thrones. Actually, but I think because it's
like not a aggressive, violent way of killing someone.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
No, it's non confrontational. You can do it slowly over time,
and it's inconspicuous. I think it's more clever in a
lot of ways as a way of killing somebody.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Yeah, there's definitely premeditative meditative.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Oh yeah, I can't say you would accidentally poison somebody.
Well maybe you can't.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
I mean you leave your poison laying about. Someone else
could have picked up that cup.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Yeah, no, but she she they drained it after, Like
I was interested. I did feel bad. I didn't, but
I seriously did think that it was like, oh man,
he's going to pick her up later, right.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
No, they were saying like if he doesn't take care
of it, someone else was going to. So then all
the action starts and on the surface, you have the
resistance detonating all their explosions and destroying critical infrastructures as
Galactica does its jump into the atmosphere. We already talked
about how awesome that was was worth mentioning again and

(09:48):
launching the vipers like as it's burning through the atmosphere
was a really cool effect too.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
Yeah. I like that hot Dog was like, this is new,
ready to do something different.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
I remember when he was just a nugget.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Now he's doing like high level stunts that have never
been done or tried before. I thought it was interesting
that the cylons were basically running around with their heads
cut off, like a chicken with its head cut off,
not the silons with their heads cut off.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
Sorry that analogy got away from me. But they were
basically panicking, which we're not used to seeing them panic.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
They were already trying to deal with like the aftermath
of last episode when the prisoners escaped to the execution,
Like they're trying to figure out, like where do we
go from here?

Speaker 2 (10:37):
Guyas tells them go away, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
Like why are you what are you getting out of this?
Like this clearly is not working, and.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
They refuse him. Initially, they're like no, we're staying. We're
gonna nuke them if we have to, We're gonna hurt them.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
It was a really interesting fear that they had that
if they were to leave the humans alone, that after
a few generations, the humans are likely to come hunt
them down and kill them again because we would tell
stories to our children, they tell stories to their children,
and then like that would just lead to them getting
hunted down again, which is interesting coming from a species

(11:14):
that turned around the hunt the humans.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
Yeah. Yeah, I think it is interesting that they're I
don't understand their point of view. I guess in a
lot of ways, they're very alien to me, even though
they're not technically aliens. They're from the same place that
the humans are. But I feel like the humans probably
have the same fear, like if the cylons were to leave,
they're going to be like, what's to stop them from

(11:38):
coming back? So why wouldn't they stop telling stories and
continuing to stay prepared to fight a battle?

Speaker 3 (11:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (11:45):
I thought Baltar was being kind of brave in a
lot of ways for him, where he tollls them to
leave and he tells them like this back and forth
has to stop because it doesn't get us anywhere, And
that's a very good point. When do you say enough
is enough? In war?

Speaker 3 (12:02):
Yeah, and then one of the Deanna's offers Guyas to
join up with them, which we don't really see what
happens to Guyas at the end of this episode.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
Yeah, I'm worried about him after this episode because I
don't know if he like is a stowaway on one
of the ships, or if he ends up going with
the Cylons because that was an open invitation, So I
don't know what's going to happen with him, and I
think that open endedness is like how this show keeps
you coming back for more.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
Yeah. I mean it's easy to kind of forget because
there was so much else going on and other things
getting wrapped up, but yeah, we The last we see
of him is this him and Caprica six running off
to get wherever they're going. They don't really say. Before that, though,
Gada pulls a gun on Baltar and he's basically letting

(12:52):
out all his frustrations from this last year.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
Yeah, for real, Gata is like, I've had enough of
your shit. You need to die, and Balt's like, you're right,
you're right. But I could also say this, which is
a very Baltar thing to do.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
True, but it looked like part of Baltar was as
ready to die if Gata was willing to pull a trigger.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
I don't Yeah, and that he really pushed him too,
when he went all up in his face and like
he pretty much almost put that gun right in his mouth.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
Yeah, there wasn't like any panic in his eyes when
he did that, as you would expect from Baltar.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
Maybe because it wasn't a Cylon, because he felt like,
you know, this is a human. I'd rather die at
the hands of a human than a Cylon, because he
was really scared of the silence. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
And Gaeta feels like that Baltar has basically runned his
reputation because he's going to be seen as someone who
stood by Baltar's side.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
I mean, I don't think he's wrong. I really don't.
Even if he came out as the informant, still, he's
definitely lost a lot of credibility. I hope they give
him his job back at the GALACTICU.

Speaker 3 (13:57):
Yeah, well, we'll have to see how it all pans out, because, yeah,
a lot of people went through some shit.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
And I can't believe Baltar let Deanna have the baby.
I can't believe I knew Deanna was gonna know that
baby because Deanna was like looking for that baby. But
I babies, I don't know if they're that distinct. And
then to never have met that baby but know it
right away, that's wild.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
Well, I mean she's probably making some leaps because she
went to that oracle.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
But yeah, so that baby is now in Cylon hands.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
Yeah, we'll see how they treat that baby. They don't
even have breast milk for it.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
So in the battle, they do this thing where well
it's kind of cool though, like we don't really know
their full plan. We don't really understand what they're up
to for part of it because they send out these
drones to make it look like they have both battle stars.
They're attacking in orbit right.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
They're headed right towards you.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
Yeah, and that's what allows the glac to get to
jump into the atmosphere, and that really damages the Galactica,
though it is not in good shape after doing that.
It's almost like it's not built to be in the atmosphere.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
And I think they were only prepared to deal with
so many of those little spur.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
Shaped ships the Bay Stars.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
Yeah, they when they had four, They're like, we're not
going to be able to take four. Yeah, they weren't
anticipating them to jump in so quickly.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
It was like really interesting to see Adama like pulling
cables and wiring stuff in there in the CiCe, like
very hands on. We don't really see that from him.

Speaker 2 (15:30):
Well we don't have him at half capacity either. True,
normally he has a full crew, but.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
Yeah, it's never been that chaotic in there. And then
it gets really dramatic because they basically have to throw
in the towel.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
Yeah, I can't believe He's like it was a pleasure
to serve with you. I had never thought i'd see
Adama just like take defeat right, just like that.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
Yeah, and then like the camera pulls way back and
like the music and it's like, oh shit, is Edward
James almost leaving the show or something, because but swooping
in it's a little little lead obeying his orders destroying
a very valuable ship.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
Right, a very nice ship compared to Galactica.

Speaker 3 (16:06):
Yeah, you know, if they had they'd plan this out,
they should have switched the Battle Stars around so that
they could keep the nicer one, but.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
Then the show wouldn't be called Battlestar Galactica be called
Battlestar Pegasus.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
A little rebranding.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
Now I watch No Pony Show. I thought it was.
I thought that then, Like initially, when Pegasus goes in,
I was like, oh, so now he's going to sacrifice himself.
But they all evacuate and I'm like, oh, thank god,
why didn't they do that with a dama, Like why

(16:43):
didn't you guys just evacuate? And that's like a distraction
while you all just go back to the Pegasus. But again,
this show is called Battlestar Galactica, not Battlestar Pegasus, so
I get it.

Speaker 3 (16:54):
Yeah. Well they also Glactica had all the Vipers that
were in the action. So yeah, Pegas has went there
empty handed.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
With guns out, buns out, and I.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
Think they take out one based Arthur guns, they crash
a ship into another one, and then like.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
A shrapnel gets another one.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
So it was pretty well executed overall, pretty successful other
than you know, you losing one of your biggest assets.
What else do you want to talk about? We'll talk
about Kiara.

Speaker 3 (17:24):
Yeah, well, Andres gets into the prison, helps break out
the prisoners, he finds Starbuck, rescues her, she wakes up,
and then she has to go back for her child
Casey and Honders is like, what the fuck are you
talking about?

Speaker 2 (17:36):
And then she's met by homeboy what's his name.

Speaker 3 (17:40):
Leo Bin Yeah, and then like in their whole battle
of wills, like I don't know who really won, Starbuck
gets to kill him one last time, but he gets
her to say I love you and kiss her and
kiss her, and then later he kind of gets the
final blow when she realizes that's not her child at all. Yeah, yeah,

(18:00):
and messes with her.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
I told you she shouldn't have had caught feelings for
that baby. She shouldn't have never thought about that baby
in any way other than a dirty little baby, stinky baby. Buttholes, No,
I just I had a hard time believing or yeah,
I had a hard time believing that Starbuck would fall
for that, but whatever, I don't know. It feels very

(18:24):
like written by a man who has this idea that
like all women want children and have a soft spot
for children. And I'm just I mean, I couldn't tell
you how I would react if something like that happened
to me. But I'm I'm a skeptic. If I don't
remember giving birth to that child, then I'm not going
to feel attached to it in a way that or

(18:46):
even like growing up with that child, like having that
child with me like every day for like a year,
and eventually there will be feelings. But I've known you
for a couple of hours and you don't even talk, Like,
I don't know. Connecting to children is different than connecting
with something else. So like maybe she's open to it,

(19:07):
but I don't. I don't know if she should have
been that open considering the source, you know what I mean,
Like if it was at home and she was like
with anders in the camp and they like told her
she had a baby, and like they just left it
at the camp, that'd be different than her being imprisoned
by this crazy cylon. So I don't know. It's definitely

(19:31):
psychological warfare going on in there, And I don't know
how she's gonna be after this.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
She's gonna be embarrassed that she told people that was
her child.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
She only told three people, so she think she's gonna
be okay.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
No, Like that definitely messed with her head quite a bit.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
Yeah, she was definitely glitching.

Speaker 3 (19:51):
Laura Roslind. She escapes the planet back aboard Colonial one,
she takes her seat behind the desk.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
She's like, I'm taking my own a home like a
badass bitch.

Speaker 3 (20:02):
Yeah. Tom's Eric even calls her dramatic for it. She
is a drama queen. And then it's interesting that Jammer
was one that had to help escort escort her to
the ship. He was like, I didn't do anything. Yeah,
he's really on edge that people know what he's done
as a cop. Yeah, that's mostly what happens in the episode.
At the end, we have a little celebration with everyone

(20:24):
celebrating a dama and getting off their ships.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
Was it just me or did it sound like they
were saying pajamas, pajamas.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
Everyone was excited for the pajama party, A dumb, dumb.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
It sounded a lot like pajamas to me. Maybe it
just says a lot about where my mind is that lately.
I thought it was weird to celebrate right then like that,
because you're still doing a headcount, you're missing babies, Like,
I don't know, I don't think after the trauma of
run away from being an occupied space that you right

(21:03):
away you feel like, oh, yeah, let's celebrate. I think yeah,
I'd definitely be cheering, I'd be clapping, and I'd be like,
thank God, we're home. But I don't think i'd be
chanting some singular person's name, because it's a team effort.
Nobody was celebrating Tie and he had just as much
to do with this rescue.

Speaker 3 (21:21):
Yeah, and I think that's that's a very valid point
that the show kind of let's hang there, because yeah,
Tie is the last time the Dama saw Tie, Like
he was all clean cut in uniform, and like when
he steps off that ship.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
Like he's dishovel dirty and definitely he needs help flocking,
Like yeah, you can tell, like, yeah, he's just really
been through it, and it really like it undercuts all
the excitement, Like as an audience member, you should be like, fuck, yeah,
they did it.

Speaker 3 (21:52):
They got out of the New Kaprica, like they pulled
off this mission. But then like you're kind of there
with Tie and like he's experienced all this law and
you see him just like walking alone through the crowd
as they celebrated Dama.

Speaker 2 (22:05):
And then they cut to Kira and the realization that
she was never a mother, she might never be a mother,
and that all of that experience was based on a lie.

Speaker 3 (22:13):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
And I think that was really interesting too, that they
the juxtaposition of this explosion of celebration and then these
individual moments of grief. And I think this show really
does do well when it depicts grief. That's something that
I've noticed with this show a lot. Like a lot

(22:35):
of shows, I don't think they get it sometimes, but
I think the actors are really good at it too,
Like the nuances of the facial emotional responses that a
human can have to a deep sense of sadness, not
just like a shallow like frowny face or tear, but
like something that's deeper than that. It's more sorrowful. Sorrow

(22:58):
is that a word. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
I don't think that's a word as well be I
don't know.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
It's just the capacity for pain is high, the rewards
are high, but the pain is also like on the
same level, and I think this show likes to show
how they can exist together. There's moments where, yes, we
accomplished this great big thing, but at the hear of
the costs, here's what we lost because of that whole experience,

(23:24):
and I think that's what makes this episode like really
good in the end.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
Yeah, and at the very end, a Dama shaves off
that mustache to symbolize the end of this era.

Speaker 2 (23:35):
And back to like this old way.

Speaker 3 (23:38):
Yeah, and you know he's got to look good for
Laura when they see each other.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
Yeah, I can't have Whiskers kissing her astral queen.

Speaker 1 (23:47):
Who was the standout character in the episode, who was.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
Your astral queen?

Speaker 3 (23:55):
My astral queen is going to be Colonel Tie. I
think now we've talked to enough about it. I just
like all the trauma he went through and the lack
of recognition he got for all his efforts, and I'm
giving him the recognition now as an astral queen. I
was also considering picking Lee for swooping in and saving

(24:15):
the Galactica. That just didn't have the emotional resonance.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
Yeah, I think I think I agree with Tye as well,
because he had to do a really hard thing. He
loves that horrible woman. Yeah, and he's still like I
think he still was willing to like let her go
until Anders was like, you don't do it, somebody else will,
And he took that as if you don't take care
of her humanely, then somebody might make herself, and he

(24:42):
didn't want that, so he took it upon himself to
lay her gently down and let her pass. I can't
believe she's gone. She was in like a flash, like
just randomly showed up. Everyone thought she was a cylon.
She had to take a test and everything, and now
she's gone, just like that.

Speaker 3 (24:59):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
Wow. I kind of want to give them my astral
queen to her now for standing by her convictions and
her actions. Yeah, I'm going to do allan tie right.

Speaker 3 (25:10):
Get the ties tying up the astral queens. All right. Well,
I think we've talked through this whole episode here, So
that's the end of the main part of the podcast.
If you want to stick around for spoilers, then please
do so. But if you haven't seen the show and
you don't want to be spoiled on what happens in
the future episodes, then now's your time to make your Exodus's.

Speaker 2 (25:32):
Put our living stereo Stylus.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
In this group.

Speaker 1 (25:37):

whole series, now is the time to say goodbye. Remember

(25:58):
three two one.

Speaker 2 (26:02):
Now you ready for spoilers?

Speaker 3 (26:03):
I'm ready for spoilers? Are you?

Speaker 2 (26:05):
Yeah? What happens to Guyus?

Speaker 3 (26:08):
Guyus is gonna get on board the cilon ship and
live with them for a while.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
How does he become a cult leader after that? I
still don't remember. How does he get into, like, get
so deep into the enemy lines and still have the
capacity to come back and have a cult A very
beautiful followers, the sexiest followers I've ever seen. I mean,
there's no ugly people on Galactica or within the Colonies

(26:37):
that I've seen yet.

Speaker 3 (26:38):
No, not really.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
Maybe Calli, but even then, she's moderately attractive. I wouldn't
say she's ugly.

Speaker 3 (26:44):
I just don't like her.

Speaker 2 (26:45):
I didn't see Kelly in this.

Speaker 3 (26:47):
Episode, No, I don't think we did. But what we
did see for the first time was all twelve Cylons
in the same episode. And it's also the last time
we're going to see all twelve Cylons for quite a while,
since our good friend Ellen is a Cylon yeah, and
she'll be back.

Speaker 2 (27:06):
I was wondering if Homegirl that hangs out with Roslin
Tory Tory. Yeah, I was wondering if Tory had one
of those Silon moments where they black out and do
Silon things, like when Sharon like stole the explosives. You know. Yeah,
I wonder if she had one of those Silon moments
and actually she was the one who like murdered everybody

(27:30):
but the baby. What that's my theory.

Speaker 3 (27:33):
No, I'm just trying to picture it.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
Because she's a cilon. She can probably kick some ass
and if they don't expect her coming, like, she could
probably take care of all of them fools.

Speaker 3 (27:44):
Yeah, what else do you got? So even though we've
left New Kaprica at this point, we do have a
pretty big flashback episode coming up in episode nine of
the season, which will take place on New Kaprica for
a lot of it pre Silon occupy, so just when
they're living there during that year, and we'll see why
a lot of their relationships are more strained, especially with

(28:08):
like Kara and Lee, and yeah, we'll get a little
more backstory and what's been going on. We will also
see the Pegasus again in a flashback movie called Razor
that comes at the beginning of season four. We'll be
back with the Pegasus and some of its crew, including
Admiral Kin.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
Admiral Caine, kind of demon Woman.

Speaker 3 (28:29):
And yeah, we also Glactica is going to continue to
have a lot of the damage that it occurred in
this episode. Everything doesn't really reset, all the effects continue
to last. Do you have any other spoiler comments questions?

Speaker 2 (28:45):
What are they doing with that? Maybe just kind of
like put in up crib or something.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
What are they doing with it? Yeah, Well, the the
Cylons believe that their God has told them to be
fruitful and multiply and they've been I'm able to do
that biologically, so that's when they started experimenting with humans
see if they could breed with humans. And the only
successful child from that is Parah. That's why they are

(29:11):
so interested in her, and they call her the shape
of things to come interesting.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
Okay, that's it all right.

Speaker 3 (29:16):
Well, it's a really fun episode. So thanks for joining
us and we will see you next time for episode five. Collaborators,
so say we all, so say we.

a nap.
