Cardi B's newest album, am I the Drama, has already
gone double platinum in less than two weeks, certified by
the RIAA. The speed of the certification has sparked conversation,
with some pointing out that previously released hits like Wap
and Up contributed to the album sales count. Even so,

the numbers don't lie. In its first week, the album
moved around two hundred thousand album equivalent units, with more
than half coming from streaming and about ninety thousand from
pure sales including physical formats. Fans streamed the project nearly
one hundred forty six million times on demand, proving Cardi's
pull is still undeniable. While some critics suggest the album

leaned on older tracks for its quick climb, Cardi has
shrugged off the skepticism and thanked her fans for standing
behind her music. She's focused on the bigger picture and
the long term impact of the release. Away from the charts,
Cardi is back balancing her personal life with her career.
She's expecting her fourth child, her first with Stephon Diggs,

but continues to keep her momentum. She recently headlined the
Global Citizen Festival, filling in for the weekend and has
