In this week’s Spotlight Series, I’m joined by friend of the podcast, fellow podcaster, and coach AC Bergen Fischer for an insightful Higher Self Reading. In this intimate session, we explore what comes through from spirit and the deeper themes guiding AC at this point in his journey. Together, we dive into topics like surrendering control, trusting your inner voice, and the courageous act of believing that you are already enough. We also reflect on what it takes to open up to limitless possibilities—especially when self-doubt or fear creeps in. This episode is a vulnerable, honest, and uplifting conversation that will speak to anyone on a path of self-discovery, personal growth, or spiritual alignment.

without further ado, let's meet this week's guest.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Thank you so much for joining me for another episode
of Spotlight, which is part of my Spirit Journey Collective series,
but it's a separate series geared towards putting a spotlight
on guests who are here to receive a reading. And
I have a really special guest today. His name is
Ac Bergen Fisher. If you follow my podcast, he's actually
my very first guest from the very beginning of Spirit
Journey Collective, So if you haven't listened to that, I

(00:57):
highly recommend checking it out. It's a great episode. But
first of all, thank you so much for being here today.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
Ac, No, I'm thrilled to be here. I was really
really happy to get the invitation.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
Yeah, I'm excited to connect with you again.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
It's been a while, Yeah, it's I was actually checking
my notes trying to see how long it's been, and
I couldn't find my notes.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
So so it's been about a little over a year.
Because my first episode, I think we recorded it last.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Year in January, so that sounds right. Yeah, not a bit.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
But I still listened to your podcast, and I really
enjoy like your openness and how you know, you don't
hold back with a lot of what you have to say,
and it's you know, it's but I think it's very
therapeutic for the listeners. So I still check out your podcast.
And yeah, and listeners, if you want to check out
his podcast, I highly recommend it.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
It's called in the Blood.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Yeah, okay, well I've actually I'm I'm doing two right now.
One of them is In the Blood. The other one
is call Me Tony.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Oh okay, so there's two, and I'm sure you could just.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Find it with your name, or you can check my
website ac FI s c h e er dot com.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
Okay, perfect.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
I will be sure to put that in the show
notes for anyone that might want to check it out.
But starting with your reading, I know that you're wanting
to go more open to just see what's coming through.
So that's what we're going to focus on today. So
while I go ahead and shuffle, why don't you just
share a little bit about just a little bit about
yourself and then what your experience is with Taro.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Okay, I'm gonna work really hard at avoiding my canned
biography and just try to make things a little bit
more personal today. Which so if I starter and stammer
a bit for anybody who's listening, that's what's happening. Normally,
I've got notes in front of me, and today I've
decided just to freestyle it. So what I do during

(02:48):
the day is I am a life coach. I specialize
in strained family relationships because my background has got a
lot of family hurt and challenge in it, and I
hate to see anybody else trying to navigate those waters blind.
And while I don't have all the answers, I feel

(03:08):
like I'm in a good position because of my experience
to really understand where you're coming from and maybe help
ask questions that will hopefully aid you in finding your
own answers. In my spare time, as we mentioned a
little bit earlier, I host two podcasts. The main one
is called In the Blood, which focuses on how our

(03:29):
relationship with self affects our relationships with others. I co
host that with my brother Jason, who has his personality
is very different than mine, so sometimes our ideas can clash.
Sometimes they work together very nicely, but it's always a
surprise to see how things play out. The second podcast
is Call Me Tony. That is really more personal. It's

(03:51):
about what makes me tick as an individual. Call me
Tony because that's actually how my friends know me. In
the podcast world and the coaching world, I may see
my closest people call me Tony, and that's what I'm
hoping people will do through getting to know me on
that podcast. My experience with Taro is actually extremely limited.

(04:11):
I'm a skeptical person, and up until meeting Sarah, I
would have considered myself to be a strong disbeliever in
that sort of thing. But she gave me a reading
on my podcast which raised so many unanswerable questions for
me that they decided to just lean towards maybe there's

(04:32):
something to this. So I'm hoping for a little bit
more of the same, maybe a few more goosebumps today.
No pressure, Sarah, come true. I'm kind of open to
whatever comes up. So we'll see. I guess right, perfect.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
So thank you for the background and sharing a little
bit more about you, and I didn't know that about
So is Tony your actual name or like your birth
name or is that just like a nick name.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
AC is actually my initials. It's it's Anthony Carlos, and
I never really liked my first name, so most people
just called me Tony in real life. But when I
first started podcasting, I was trying to create a separation
between podcast life and personal life, so I started going
by AC to make a distinction. But the weird thing

(05:23):
is is that as the years went on, more and
more and more people started calling me AC, to the
point where there's maybe like four people who call me
Tony now, and I've just tried to like claw some
of that back.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Now you're like, wait, hold on, hold on, I was
my actual identity a little bit here.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
I kind of manufactured myself and turned myself into something
I didn't want to be.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
That's funny because it kind of reminds me of a
favorite show that had growing up. I don't know if
you've ever heard of Boy Meets World. They have a
podcast called pod meets World.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
They're like, it's a.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Few of the actors going over it, but most people
know Daniel Fischel as Stepanga because that was the character
she played.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
And she's actually like, I don't know if she was
serious about the podcast.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
She's like, I'm really thinking about adding to Panga to
my name because people call me to Pank anyway.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
We're calling that for years, So why don't I just
embrace it.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
Sometimes it's just easier to go with the flow, right.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Yeah, So I just just kind of me think of that.
But so I went ahead and did my higher self spread.
I'm gonna go over a theme, past present, future energies,
and then higher self messages. So once I go and
get started with the reading, please feel free to interrupt
me or comment on anything at anytime. It won't like,
you know, get in the way of anything. Sometimes when

(06:37):
I just get talking, I don't always like remember to
stop and check in, although I've been making a conscious
effort to.

Speaker 4 (06:42):
Remember to do that. Anyway, but don't be afraid to
interrupt me.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
That's specifically why I'm of ready interrupt youse. Once I
start talking, I don't stop.

Speaker 4 (06:51):
Well, we got time. It's all good, exactly exactly. So
I really love this theme for you. It's the note
of Cups, and this is actually a really.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
It's a really beautiful card because it encourages us to
dream big, to think outside the box, to believe that
possibilities can happen.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
So this is where you think about, like what are
your desires?

Speaker 2 (07:15):
What do you want out of life? You know, what
are some goals that you're wanting to reach. And so naturally,
I think a lot of us when we have try
to be open minded and have you know, open our
heart and was like, okay, I'm open to whatever comes
or I want that thing, and I see the door
is opening, so you get your hopes up, you're excited,
and then the door closes. And I think a lot
of us have experienced that in all sorts of ways

(07:37):
in our lives. And I think many of us when
that happens, we shut down, we put a big wall up.

Speaker 4 (07:42):
We're like, I'm not doing that again. That hurts.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
So I'm just not going to open up with this
card here, the biggest invitation is to stay open regardless,
and it's open to receive.

Speaker 4 (07:54):
Open to knowing.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
And it's like a combination of being open and knowing
you're worthy enough to receive the thing that you want,
but also there's a piece of it that's like a surrender,
because you're also trusting that if a door closes unexpectedly,
it's it's not because it wasn't the right thing. It
was just because that particular doorway wasn't the right doorway.
And so a lot of times when a doorway closes

(08:17):
unexpectedly and you know, we feel like bitter or you know,
afraid to like be open to it and to open
anything else at that point. Then at that point when
we well off, when the next door opens, it can't
reach us because we've already closed the door up here,
so we're not even looking for it. It's not something
that we're allowing in. And so this card is all

(08:39):
about keeping yourself open to possibilities, open to dreams, not
like feeling like whatever it is that you desire it
and want is possible. It's a combination of letting it
in but also not having expectations on how it comes.

Speaker 4 (08:54):
And I think that that's really hard for us.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
When we think we want something, we try to like
pave the way in our mind and we're like, okay,
so it has to be this ware or this way,
this way, and if it's not any of those ways,
then it's just not going to happen. Versus, that's where
you're more you know, like whatever higher being you believe in.
That's where you're actually surrendering and saying, well, you know
what I desire, you know what I want. Now, I'm
going to trust that the right door, the right opportunities,

(09:19):
the right thing are going to come to me, and
I'm going to just be open and waiting for it
and trust that there is going to be more coming.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
I find the surrender component really interesting here because I mean,
you're describing a lot of what I'm actually going through
right now, and because my expectations have been so like tainted.
I kind of wanted to let go of those expectations
because I mean, I can't predict what's coming. But at
the same time, that knee jerk impulse to protect myself

(09:48):
made me want to throw a barrier up. But I
realized that every situation demands that I kind of lower
that and that I surrender to what's coming, because if
I can't control it anyways, I have to give up,
even if I don't have high hopes.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
I mean, I wouldn't say give up because that does
kind of immediately assume like.

Speaker 4 (10:07):
Sorry, but like be open, you mean, like just kind.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
Of see yeah, yeah, yeah, I just chose words really poorly.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
It's all good, yeah, you know. And I love this
card because it really it.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
So is a little segue. But something that I've learned,
like personally in the last probably the last year, is
how because I'm a very anxious person, and especially when
I'm nervous about something, my mind will just came up
with all these scenarios, like let's say there's like a
dinner I need to go to, like a family dinner,
and I'm like, oh my gosh, I have to go
to this family dinner and there's all sorts of things

(10:45):
under the rug, and how am I going to survive this? Well,
I've learned that whatever I think it's gonna be up here,
it never ever pans out that way ever, And so
I've learned to be more in the moment and just
be like, Okay, well, let's just see how this unfolds,
because it can actually unfold a million different ways. It's
not you know, it's not just going to be whatever
I'm afraid of up here. And so I feel like

(11:06):
that's a lot of what The Knight of Cups is
saying is how can you find a way to in
that surrender no that again like release the expectations, but
knowing what you want, like what is your goal, what
is what you're trying to call in, and then let
it unfold the weight so like the way it's meant
to which may not look anything like we wanted to write,

(11:28):
but allowing yourself to be open enough to say, okay,
so this door closed or maybe this door is are
the right one, but there will be another door that's
going to.

Speaker 4 (11:36):
Be more aligned.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
And I think that's that's really the point, is when
when the door closes, it's not because you did anything
wrong or you have to give up on this thing.
It's it's just not aligned with what you're trying to call.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
In, right exactly.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
Yeah, So that's our theme, which is cool since it
says since it sounds like you're like in the space already,
that's like It's like, this is your theme about how
can you be more open, how can you, you know,
allow yourself to surrender looking at your recent past, I
have the Seven of Swords, and so this one speaks
to feelings of not feeling like you're enough, like feeling

(12:13):
like you're inadequate in some way.

Speaker 4 (12:16):
And so this is where there's a lot of comparison.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
You probably in the past had a tendency to compare
what you offer versus what others offer. You might even
be like, well, they offer all these great things and
it's just me, I only have this to offer. And
so it comes from the space of like I just
I don't have enough to give, or I myself am
not enough. And the thing about this car is it's
it's literally like the exact opposite is no, you are enough,

(12:40):
and if you don't feel like you are, you need
to go back and heal the parts of you that
feel like you worked. But I mean, this isn't your past,
but I feel like there's likely I do feel like
there's healing that's been done around this, but it's like
you're still you're still relearning that, and I feel like
that's part of when a door closes it brings up
your feelings.

Speaker 4 (12:57):
Of not enough.

Speaker 3 (12:58):
That definitely fits both prepared, asked and present. And yeah,
you're right, there's been a lot of healing done around it.
But I mean, anytime something triggers a past trauma, it
does kind of to some degree open up an old wound.
And I've been dealing with, you know, a lot of
stuff surrounding this, you know, because I mean with my

(13:18):
age and my age increasing and my health decreasing, I
feel like I'm operating a lot of the time of
the diminished capacity, and so there is that feeling of
like not being able to rise to the same challenges
even though the healing was done. It's like a new
set of challenges presented themselves that I don't know how

(13:39):
to heal through yet.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
Yeah, I feel like what came to me when you
said that is it's more about like you've done a
lot of healing, but now it's time to embody what
you've learned, and that I feel like is like the
stuff that you're in now where psychologically you kind of
know how you want to respond to things, but emotionally
it's still kind of in the past, so you're you're
like fighting that inner war is kind of what I'm

(14:02):
feeling around that.

Speaker 3 (14:03):
No, and you're you're dead on with that, because logically
I process things very very quickly and easily. Is the
emotional component that always tends to be the struggle for
me because I I struggle to make sense of emotions.
So I try. I tend to distance myself. I mean
trying to embrace the things I don't understand a little
bit more, which is part of what I'm doing here today.

(14:26):
But I'm still not very good at it yet. But
I mean that'll come with not practicing something right right.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
Well, yeah, and you know, we're always going to be
a nubie at something right, No matter even if you're
you become an expert at something, eventually you're going to
be a n newbie at something else.

Speaker 4 (14:41):
It's just part of part of the journey, right.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
Yeah. I really love your present cards, so I end
up pulling a clarifier because I wanted more information your
The card that I initially pulled is the Priestess reversed,
and then the clarifier card I pull for it is
the Ace of Swords. So I love these together.

Speaker 4 (15:01):
So I'm gonna start with the priests.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
The priestess right off the bat is saying that you're
a very intuitive person. Whether you feel like you're completely
tapped into that part of you or not, it means
that you tend to get gut feelings about things, and
when it's reversed, it's saying that you get the gut feelings,
but you kind of dismiss them pretty quickly because you
probably don't trust them, or you know, coming back to
that I'm not enough. That's usually is part of the

(15:26):
voice when you when you start getting like an inkling,
you're like, oh, but I don't.

Speaker 4 (15:29):
Know what I'm talking about, so you just kind of
dismiss it.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
But it still stands that you are a very intuitive
person that those inklings likely when you ignore them, there's
usually a point in time where you might look back
and be like, I really wish I didn't ignore that,
because I can see why I felt what I did.

Speaker 4 (15:46):
But the thing.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
About especially if someone's more logical, it's really it gets
kind of muddy when you look back, is then you
start questioning, well, did I really get that gut feeling?
That I really get that inkling?

Speaker 4 (15:56):
Is that really what I thought it was?

Speaker 2 (15:58):
So one of the things that I recommend with the
priests to kind of help you get more in touch
with your intuition is writing down the gut fillings you get.
And so the first time, like I usually say, the
first time, just write it down. Just have a paper trail, right,
you don't have to do anything with it, just write
it down. And then and then write down how it
played out, and then write down like, Okay, I see

(16:19):
why I got this gut feeling because this happened. And
so then the next time you get a gut feeling,
you'll have a little more of a trust muscle around it,
and then you can so next time, listen to your
gut feeling and then write down what happened, and then
start kind of like a catalog, so then you have
something tangible to look back at where you can start
trusting that. Okay, when I get these gut feelings, there's

(16:40):
a reason and they seem to it works when I
listen to it.

Speaker 4 (16:44):
If that makes.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
Sense, No, that would actually really help with my logical
mind to be able to say, Okay, this is the
percentage of times when my gut was accurate. Right, I
could decide whether it's a trustworthy reflex or not.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
Everyone wants to talk about their situation or life questions
out loud, and that's okay. That's why my email terwer
ratings are a perfect fit for the inwards seekers, the
ones who feel deeply process everything and don't always have
the words or the energy for a live session. Here's
how it works. You send your question, I tune in,

(17:21):
pull cards, and record a seventeen to twenty five minute
voice message channeling what comes through around your question and situation.
You'll also receive a photo of the cards polled, all
delivered to your inbox within twenty four hours. My intention
is always to honor your journey with sincerity and heart
aligned guidance. If this feels like the kind of support

(17:41):
you've been craving, let's connect. You can find me at
the link below or at www dot spirit Journey Collective
dot com.

Speaker 4 (17:52):
Yeah exactly. That's just a very really logical approach to it.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
And so the clarifier card I pulled because I want
more information about, like, tell me more about this intuitive
side that you're blocking. And so the card that camp
is the Ace of Swords, and this one is it
is all about the mind. So it's all about using
your mind as an ally versus an enemy, and so
with it here, it just it's I think this is

(18:17):
just really speaking to the logical side of you that
doesn't want to be open to your intuition because it's
not it doesn't feel tangible yet, and I think that
that you tend to get caught in that, like that
catch twenty two where you listen sort of and then
you're like, I don't know, and so your mind kind
of takes you on a different route where whereas you know,

(18:39):
instead of using your mind as like more of a
logical tool in this right, because the mind and the
ego is a beautiful tool, but it also likes to
be safe and it doesn't like things it doesn't understand,
and intuition is like you, logic can't understand it because
it's it's like it's like an instinct. What's that we're

(19:00):
looking for? Esoteric thing? And so the mind can't like
grasp it, and so I feel like that's what it is.
It's just saying that when especially when it comes to
this journey you're on about being more open about surrender,
about working through films of not being enough and embodying,
and a big part of that is going to be
listening to your intuition more and being able to kind
of get out of your own mind, out of your

(19:21):
own way, use your mind as a tool to help you,
you know, like trust your intuition versus distrust it.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
No, And that's something I've really been trying to lean
towards ever since our first interaction, because you really did
challenge a lot of stuff about the way I do things.
And I realize that, whereas I've been trying to push
towards purer logic over the last many years, logic is

(19:49):
only as good as the information that we can feed
into it and the perspective we can feed into And
we're lacking information. If we're lacking a perspective, the logic
is weak, right, or is weekend, I should say. And
if we can figure out how to incorporate this intuition component,
which admittedly not good at and I am, as you're suggesting,

(20:10):
like I'm very afraid of for reasons, Yeah, I'm trying
to incorporate it a little bit more here and there.
And I have to say that those times where I
let my guard down and I embrace the intuition to
some degree, successful things tend to be the.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
Result Yeah, that's good though, So I would say, you know,
even as you start this journey, maybe write down those
examples just like as a beginning stepping stone of Okay,
so these are the times it worked out, and now
I'm in a catalog moving forward and really like follow that.
So yeah, you definitely have a lot of Swords in
your reading. And that makes sense because swords is all

(20:49):
about the mind. It's all about communication, it's about logic,
it's about you know, being up here a lot. And
so the next two cards are both sorts. This is
moving into the near future. And so first we have
the four of Swords reversed and then the Higher and
so this is the near future card Energy and then
the higher self message to the near future is the
two of Swords upright, So the four of Swords, this

(21:14):
one is saying that you're kind of mentally at a
bit of an overwhelmed and so moving into the near future,
like right now, it's showing this resistance to give your
mind a break to kind of recuperate and rest. So
the first invitation is how can I unplug, you know,
even if it's only five ten minutes a day, where

(21:34):
I kind of just where you just don't let whatever's
just overwhelming up here. You're kind of setting it down.
You're like, I want to think about slater. I'm not
going to keep letting it ruminate over and over like
and it couldn't even be.

Speaker 4 (21:47):
A long term thing.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
It could be a situation that you need to literally
unplug from right as well. But there's definitely like resistance
I think, and I feel like the resistance is because
you like to try and figure it out. So putting
it on pause, I think almost gives you anxiety, like, oh,
if I put it on pause, then it's still going
to be there. And higher self is like, no, you
need to put it on pause so you can get
a better perspective. And so that's why the higher Self

(22:10):
message is the two of swords. This one is all
about learning how to shut out outside voices you can
listen to your inner voice.

Speaker 4 (22:19):
And so when this card comes up, there's usually.

Speaker 2 (22:21):
An element of wanting backup or approval for someone else
to like support your your thoughts or your beliefs on
something before you fully embrace it, like almost like you
want to make sure you're not the only one thinking
this way, so you want other perspectives to like chime in,
so that way you're like, Okay, I got this, you know.
And so the thing about the two swords is actually

(22:43):
the opposite. It's like, feedback is great, but I mean,
especially when it comes to big decisions, this is a
specifically more round a decision card. So again it's like
when you make big decisions, you tend to like ask
other people in your life, like is this.

Speaker 4 (22:54):
A good decision? Am I making? This is good? What
do you think?

Speaker 2 (22:57):
And so the invitation around the two swords is yes,
you can get the feedback kind of like like you know,
if you want to just have like logical ideas already
down on paper, but when it comes to actually making
the decision, you have to sit with yourself and figure
out what feels good to you, even if whatever was
on that paper does not align with what you're feeling.

Speaker 4 (23:16):
It's about because, and I like.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
To say this too, whenever we ask other people for
opinions or advice, we put their opinion on such a
high pedestal. But likely your decision isn't going to impact
them very much, but it's going to directly impact you,
which is why again coming back to your intuition, why
being able to really connect with yourself and what feels
good to you is the most important place to be

(23:38):
when making big decisions. So I do feel like with
these two togethers, I feel like the four sorts of
saying you need to unplug so that way you can
take time to sit with yourself and get your own
perspective and not hear all the outside shatter.

Speaker 3 (23:53):
Okay, that's actually great insight. For a lot of years,
I used to use meditation as my opportunity to unplug
a little bit each day, and like you say, just
like put not like sweep anything under the rug, but
it just sort of take that space where you're kind
of like stepping into a different room for all the
mental clutter. Yes, and it was really helping me to

(24:16):
hear myself and to achieve clarity and you know, more
confidently approach whatever was going on at the time. But
over the last I can't even say how long I've
just sort of fallen out of the habit of entering
that meditative space on a daily basis, and it's sort
of more become like like an emergency intervention I hold

(24:40):
for myself rather than just standard maintenance. And it's really
got me thinking that maybe that's something I should be
incorporating more strongly again like I used to.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Yeah, I mean, yeah, absolutely, especially if that's what's coming
to you. I would definitely sit with that because if
that's what's coming you, likely that's like your own higher
self is happing on the shoulder, like, Hey, this is
this is what you need, and this is what's going
to help you moving into the not in your future,
but the like the higher self message cards.

Speaker 4 (25:10):
So I have two.

Speaker 2 (25:10):
Cards here which I find super interesting. The first one
is the Seven of Wands reversed, and then the second
one is the Seven of Cups reversed.

Speaker 4 (25:23):
The Seven of Cups.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
When it's when it's upright, it's like you're in this
space of indecision and you're kind of like trying different
things to figure out what is the thing that you
want to focus your energy on. When the seven of
Cups is reversed, it means that you pretty much have
already made a decision, like you already know which route
you want to go or which thing you want to
put your energy into. You've already kind of like decided, Okay,

(25:48):
I think this is this is what feels good to me.
After kind of trial and error with other things, and
then so I feel like and then the next card
over is the eight of Wands reversed, and so this
one actually want to pull one more card on the
aid of wants because I'm trying to figure out which
which where.

Speaker 4 (26:05):
It's trying to go with it, because I'm not entirely
sure the one second.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
So I feel like, well, first of all, I feel
like when you when you take that that time for
yourself to you know, pause and listen inward, I think
you're going to find a lot of your own voice
and your own intuition. I think that that's going to
help make clear what the seven of Clups is referring to,
because I do feel like the seven of Cups like
it's saying that you already kind of have an idea,

(26:31):
but it's so muddled that you're like, it's not clear.
It's kind of like when you're trying to find the
right radio station and it's kind of like in between
what the actual station and another station, so you're like
I can't fully hear it.

Speaker 4 (26:44):
Like I feel like that's what it is. So the
Eight of Wanes reversed.

Speaker 2 (26:50):
It speaks to okay, like I start with the ad
of wants upright because it always makes more sense.

Speaker 4 (26:55):
I think the a of wants upright speaks to like
the time is now.

Speaker 2 (26:59):
Like if you're a surfer, you're out in the ocean,
a big wave is coming. You're either gonna ride it
or you're gonna miss it, right Like, That's usually what
the energy is when it's reversed, it's kind of like
it comes in different ways. But when I'm picking up
is more like the wave is coming, but you're afraid.
You're afraid of the wave, and it's a very fast

(27:20):
moving wave. So it's saying that when you make this decision,
when you fully are like committed to this is where
I want to go, this is what I want to do,
it's like, yes, jump on the wave, take it now.

Speaker 4 (27:29):
But right now there's like resistance around. And so the.

Speaker 2 (27:33):
Clarifyer card I pulled is the five of Swords reversed.
So the five swords speaks of feeling like things are
really messed up, like just horribly messed up.

Speaker 4 (27:44):
It'll never be okay again.

Speaker 2 (27:46):
That's like the energy that's making me scared of taking
the wave because you just feel like it's kind of
a hopeless situation. And I like to use the analogy
of imagine someone took a beautiful vase, which is like
your life and smashed it into a million pieces, and
you're just like.

Speaker 4 (28:00):
It's broken.

Speaker 2 (28:01):
There's no way to put this back together again, but
there is you can still put it back together again,
and nothing is ever so.

Speaker 4 (28:08):
Broken that it can't be repaired. And then if you
I don't.

Speaker 2 (28:12):
Know if you're familiar with it's a Japanese culture thing
where they actually will rebuild pottery with gold and it's
a way of like making it perfect again but perfectly
imperfect kind of a thing. It's that same idea, and
so it's with the five of Swords being reversed. It
does be to an awareness. So basically like you're aware
that you feel like it's hopeless, but there's a part

(28:33):
of you that knows you're going to get through it
because you've gotten through things in the past, but you're
still getting st're still it's like that the internal war.

Speaker 4 (28:41):
So I love the awareness to this. Essentially, this energy
wave is coming.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
You're you kind of know what direction you want to take,
but you're scared because there's a part of you that's
like it's too it's too broken to be repaired. And
then there's a part of you that knows better is
what I'm feeling. So there's like this inner war going on.
I feel like what And that's why the intuitive card
is coming up and the four of Swords and the
two of sorts. It's like you have to reconnect with

(29:07):
yourself to get tuned into that right radio stations, so
to speak, so you can see the clarity of Oh,
I see this is the thing, and this is the
energetic way it's going to take me where I want
to go.

Speaker 4 (29:19):
But you have to first find that in yourself. If
that makes sense.

Speaker 3 (29:23):
It does. What I wrote in my journal a couple
of weeks ago is that I felt like a kid
who was overwhelmed, and I'm like waiting for a grown
up to come and fix everything for me. But then
at the same time, I'm wrestling with this unwanted realization
that I am the grown up and nobody's coming. So
it's like, there's these things that need to get done,

(29:45):
and I'm the one who has to get them done,
and I know from past experience that I'll surprise myself
with the solution, but right now I'm stuck in that Oh, like,
what is that solution?

Speaker 4 (29:58):
Me?

Speaker 3 (29:58):
Like, I just I don't know, and I don't want
to figure it out. I just want to sit here
and feel sad and small for a little while.

Speaker 2 (30:08):
I think that there's a reason why the Night of
Cups is your theme, because I think your biggest challenge
is still believing that things are possible, being open to
you know what's going to come, and then through that
openness and taking space to connect with yourself, you're going
to find that answer. But you have to be open
to that next door. That's what I'm feeling.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
Yeah, I can't argue.

Speaker 4 (30:33):
With you, So that's the reading. Do you have any
questions about what came through?

Speaker 3 (30:41):
Nothing specific? I mean it just just like the last
couple of times we spoke, it's like I'm just I'm
stuck here. When you're like, okay, how does this work?
My analytical mind wants to cut it open and see, okay,
what are the moving pieces? But instead I'm trying to
force myself back to the surface, and it's like on
the surface, it's just trying to think, like more on

(31:04):
a personal level, like what do I do with this insight?
What do I do with this information that's been offered
because I mean it definitely it ties in very, very
well to what I've been I don't want to say
just struggling with what I've been sitting with what I've
been going through. Is it's not all been challenged, right,
but trying to weave in the experience and the healing

(31:26):
with the overwhelming nature of certain things.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
I would say you actually answered the question already when
you mentioned how you used to meditate to to have
that pause.

Speaker 4 (31:38):
And that was more of a maintenance thing, but you
haven't done it in a while.

Speaker 2 (31:42):
I really think that that's the first step, and I
feel like taking that space for you is going to
start opening more doors for you and going to bring
you the clarity you're looking for, because until you actually stop,
that garbled sounding radio is just going to continue because
they're not making the space to find that that clear voice.

Speaker 4 (32:00):
Inside of you.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (32:02):
I realized too that now that you remind me of
the meditation component, I kind of feel like I need
to adjust what i'd said about like how i'd fallen
out of that meditative space. I realized now I think
I've been in the meditative space, but it's been taking
the form of like worry which I'd like to describe
as meditating on like the negative or meditating on the

(32:25):
unpleasant unknown, Whereas maybe it's not like I want to
necessarily brainwash myself by meditating on the positive, but I
think I need to get like all these conscious thoughts
out of the way otherwise I'm not really fully benefiting
from the meditation space. I've or tainted it with my
own nonsense.

Speaker 4 (32:46):
Yeah, so that's definitely ace of swords. Energy.

Speaker 2 (32:48):
Ace of swords is you know, like I said, your
mind is your biggest ally, or is your biggest enemy,
and when you're on the negative thought train, that's when
it's working against you, and it's and usually when the
negative thought train starts to go, it's a lot harder
to stop it versus being more conscious of up, Nope.

Speaker 4 (33:04):
We're not going there today. Like yes, that's a possibility,
but we're not going there today. And the thing is
another another thing.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
Too, when you think of like anxiety, I'm gonna totally
I don't know if you've seen the movie Inside Out too.
It's a Disney kids movie. Oh my gosh, it is
a kid's movie. It's and this is the second one.
First one's met but the second one is really good
and it really breaks down like feeling your emotions.

Speaker 4 (33:29):
And it breaks It just broke down anxiety perfectly.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
Like anxiety's job is to prepare for all the options
to keep you safe and then and it's going to come.

Speaker 4 (33:38):
Up with all the bad scenarios.

Speaker 2 (33:40):
And in the movie, you see this particular anxiety character
just freeze because it's like this happened, this could happen,
this coul happen, this could happen, and it puts them
in like a fight or flight state and they're just
in this like freeze or you know, like the the
deer in the headlights kind of a thing, you know.
And and another character named Joe I came up to
Anxiety and said, but are these things happening right now?

(34:06):
And Anxiety said, no, okay, so let's focus on what's
happening now instead of what could happen, because that hasn't
happened yet and it may not happen at all. So
I feel like when you're in a state of worry,
it's like you're giving your power to what may or
may not even be happening or ever happen, versus being
present enough to just be what is happening in this

(34:29):
exact moment right now and kind of coming.

Speaker 4 (34:33):
Back to that center.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
No, it's fair. I love that, Like, that's such a
good breakdown, great movie.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
I got it from the movie, Like I just watched
it with my daughter the other night, and I'm like,
this is so relevant. I mean, it's it's geared towards kids,
but which is perfect. But as an adult watching it,
I'm like, oh my goodness, this is so good. But yeah,
so I'm really glad that that it sounds like it

(35:01):
resonated and gave you something to take from this. And
of course, when this is out in a couple of weeks,
you'll have a chance to re listen to it too,
you know, and if you want to have more notes
or anything. But yeah, thank you again for joining me today.

Speaker 3 (35:18):
No, as always, like just absolute pleasure. I love sitting
