being a Spotlight guest, just fill out the application below
and I'll be in touch about getting you on. Now,
without further ado, let's meet this week's guest.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
Thank you so much for joining me for another episode
of Spotlight, which is part of my Spiritual Collective podcast.
And I have a really wonderful guest today receiving or reading.
Her name is doctor Katie Williams, and actually I know
her because i was a guest on one of her podcasts,
so I'm really excited to have her on.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
Thank you for being here, Katie. Oh, Sarah, it's so
great to be here.
Speaker 4 (00:51):
Thank you for extending the invitem. I'm really excited.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
I am so excited to reconnect and to have you here.
So yeah, why don't you share just whatever is relevant?
Whatever you'd like to share about yourself and you know
about who you are, and then what your experience has
been with Taro so far.
Speaker 5 (01:06):
Okay, Well, as you mentioned, you were on my podcast,
the Doctor Williams Podcast, and also Doctor Williams's Intuitive Wonderland
podcast and you provided a reading for me on that podcast.
So that is some experience with Taro that I have.
I've had a couple other readings done on the podcast.
(01:28):
And then years ago I showed up in a cool
little shop in Port Townsend and they had a tarot
reader there and I was like, I'm going to do
this on a whim and I went and sat down
with him and he said, well, do you have a
question And I was like no, not really, and he goes, okay,
we'll just see what comes through. And I wish I
(01:50):
remember which card it was, but as he was turning,
he was like, Oh, this is this is great. This
means think big, like you can have it all. And
it was like this big, like exciting kind of reading
for me. And that's kind of probably when I fell
in love kind of with this aspect of spirituality, where
I was like, wow, this is so fun to get
(02:12):
some insight into me and my life and all the
people around me, and I love Taro being used in
that way as a guide and for some insight. So
that's my experience with Taro. As an educational background, I
have my degree in psychology.
Speaker 4 (02:32):
I have two master's degrees, one in.
Speaker 5 (02:34):
Counseling psych and then one in general psychology with emphasis
in cognition and instruction.
Speaker 4 (02:41):
But really I haven't.
Speaker 5 (02:43):
Used my degree a whole lot, just because I also
started my spiritual journey when I was getting my doctorate,
and that.
Speaker 3 (02:51):
Was more fulfilling to me.
Speaker 5 (02:53):
So I kind of took that path and I bring
the psychology like on a little leash with me, but
for the most part, I am spiritually focused.
Speaker 4 (03:03):
So that's meat in a duct shell.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
I actually really love that combination.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
Though you know, of I did the thing, I went
to school, I you know, I have, I have all.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
This information, but then this other thing called to me.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
And it's interesting because with my other podcast, I see
that all the time that you know, you do the
thing that you're supposed to do, and then in the
midst of it, you're like, hm, that doesn't feel right anymore.
And usually there's that whole other spiritual component of like
why and what fulfills you and stuff? So and I
love too how just coming from a you know, a
(03:35):
professional in psychology being able to acknowledge like, yeah, Taro
is not just your average like fortune telling tool.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
It's so much more than that.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
And I'm so glad you had that experience already, something
that allows you to see that it's just so insightful.
Speaker 4 (03:49):
Yes, yeah, I think it's powerful.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
Yeah, Oh truly, it really is. That's why I love
it so much.
Speaker 5 (03:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
So yeah, So I know that we talked pre recording
that you want to focus on money, like what do
you need to know around money?
Speaker 3 (04:01):
You know, calling it in.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
So I'm going to go over this is the spread
that I'm doing is my Higher Self spread. It's just
something that kind of organically created itself.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
And typically it's seven cards for you, I had to
pull clarifier, so there's eight on the table. So I'm
going to go over a theme, past present, feature, energies,
and then higher self messages.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
And so I'm just from a bird's eye view, I
can already tell that there's it's gonna be a little
bit heavy, which means you probably have some stories around money.
That's still very much alive and well that that's that's
why tear us over here saying okay, let's gently bring
this to your attention so that way there's things that
can be done and change can happen. So we're going
(04:43):
to start off with the theme. And so I pulled
the tower with the theme, and then the clarifier I
pulled for that.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
This is the one that I had to pull clarifier
for is the star reversed.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
So before I get started, I just wanted to let
you know, please feel free to comment or interrupt me anytime,
because once I start talking, I just kind of get
in that zone and I don't always remember to stop
to like make sure you're good.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
So you know, I'll do my best to do that.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
But if you want a comment or something like pops
up you're like, oh my gosh, you need to say
something to that.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
Please at any point.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Or if you have questions too, if it's if you're
not sure it's landing or you're not sure what exactly
it's referring to, you know, you can also kind of
ask about that too.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Okay, Son's good, all right.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
So starting with the tower, which this one it often
gets a bad rep in the Tarot Community. Although I
love this card, it does come with change, but usually
that change kind of comes.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
With the wrecking ball as well, like attached to it.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
And so the first like right out the gate when
it comes to money, the first thing that your higher
self is letting you know is that there is some
really toxic aspects around money that you need to remove.
And so this could be limiting beliefs, this could be
an actual person or environment, but it's it's definitely like
something that anytime you try to get ahead, it's knocking
(05:58):
you back down again. I like to use the analogy
of if your life was like a house. Anytime there's
an earthquake, this is the thing that's crumbling your house.
And most of the time what happens when we get
earthquakes and get cracks or our house is tumbling. Now
we just okay, let's rebuild, no big deal, We're going
to rebuild it. But the invitation is actually to go
(06:18):
to the foundation of the house. Because until the foundation
is actually looked at and certain parts are removed and
then rebuilt, the house is going to keep crumbling. And
usually the earthquake gets bigger and bigger because it's like
higher self like this has got to go.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
And so I pulled a clarifier because I wanted a
little more information on what that could be speaking to.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
And I've pulled the star reversed, and so the star
is a big, deep healing card. It's saying that there's
some really there's some big traumas back in childhood, especially
around money that has.
Speaker 3 (06:53):
Not been touched. And it might not be money directly.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
It could also have something to do with witnessing my money,
you know, you could be it could have been like
as a child witnessing caregivers with money issues. It could
be even like adequacy of self worth issues that now
is attributed and connecting with money in some way. But
the star, the invitation is it's time to go backwards
and see what's holding you back. And it's reversed so
(07:17):
that it's basically saying that there's a lot there in
your childhood that or at least maybe one specific event maybe,
but there's some resistance around actually going there. And usually
it's because it's like ah's it's the big heavy thing
that it's like the elephant in the room you're not
ready to acknowledge, or the thing you sweep under the
rug and you're like, I'll deal with this later. But
(07:39):
the thing when the star is present, especially when it's reversed,
it's basically like.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
No, no, no, it's time, you're ready, you can deal
with it.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
And so I feel like, whatever it is, and well,
there's more here that likely ties into this too, but
that we can dive into, but it's best. There's definitely
something in the money department that is just wreaking havoc
for you. And again, it could be a limiting belief,
it could be an actual person and environment. So it
(08:08):
could be external, or it could be internal, or it
could be a combination of both. But it's definitely anytime
you think your house is good and it's and you're like, Okay,
I've rebuilt it.
Speaker 3 (08:16):
I patched the cracks up, it's sturdy.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
Now it's really not, because it's the foundation is still
very shaky.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
So that's your starting point.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
Okay, I have.
Speaker 5 (08:26):
Some thoughts on that, but I'm gonna wait and I'm
gonna see what else kind of comes up before I
speak to it.
Speaker 3 (08:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:31):
Absolutely, so, looking at your recent past, we have the
Nine of Swords, So this one is saying, especially when
it comes to money, there's a lot of fear and anxiety.
There's a lot of stories around money that's that's very
scary to you. So like maybe it's losing the money,
maybe it's not you know, maybe it's not spending it
(08:52):
well or you know, but there's definitely a lot of
fear anxiety around money that you're coming from. So like,
likely this is still present. It's just like this, this
is where you're coming from. It's probably still still very
much alive and well. So with the Nine of Swords,
it's all about your perception. Your perception is something, you know,
something terrifying around money, and I mean it could be
(09:14):
like the analogy is for this is imagine a little
kid being afraid of the dark and they think there's
a monster that they're seeing in the corner of their room,
and they could see like the shape of it and everything,
but when they flip on the light, they actually see
it's a pile of clothes.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
So it's not actually what they think it is. So
the whole thing.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
About the sword suit and Tarot is it's all about
the mind and the lens. We're looking out of the
stories and narratives we're telling ourselves, and so whenever this
card is present. What I usually recommend is write down
your fears around money. What are they get as detailed
as you can, because a couple of things will happen.
One A lot of the power that we're giving it
(09:54):
is just making it seem so big up here.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
When you put on paper, it really takes the power
out of it, and it can help you look at
it more from a logical standpoint. So there could be
you might put it on paper and be like, oh, yeah, that.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Might never actually happen now that I'm getting that perspective,
or you might put it on paper and it still
feels very real, and then at that point I recommend
putting Okay, so let's say.
Speaker 3 (10:16):
The worst of the worst case scenarios happen. What are
you going to do about it? Like come up with
a game plan.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
So again you're taking out the ruminating and the overthinking
and the fear aspect where you're just kind of feeding
the fear and the anxiety when actually the invitation is
to understand those are just there to try and protect you,
but they're not really it's not worth spending your energy.
Speaker 3 (10:37):
On, if that makes sense. It's just like very unproductive.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
And so with that being in your past, that does
make me feel like there has been work done on it,
Like you're aware that that's where you're coming from and
you're trying to change it, and you're trying to be
more aware of like how to use your.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
Mind and not to be caught up in that.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
But I do feel like there is still an element
of you still get caught up, and I feel like
that's kind of playing back into that tower and whatever
it needs to be healed around it.
Speaker 4 (11:05):
Okay, I'll think on the Okay.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
So the next card over is the Page of Cups,
which I really really like.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
It's it's out of a lot of these cards.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
This is kind of like like the guiding lights in
it because a lot of this is more like, hey,
this is something to be aware of so that way
you know you can shift or change it. This is
more like what's what can you use in a positive
way to help you shift it? And so and with
this being in your present, I feel like this is
something that you're already doing and incorporating and high yourself
(11:36):
is like, yes, keep doing that because that's going to
help you in this shift. So the Page of Cups
is like the inner Child work card so it's all
about like getting I mean, so there's a couple of aspects.
There is the inner child work that comes along with it,
Like so I feel like that is.
Speaker 3 (11:53):
Absolutely tying into the star.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
So there is some inner child belief systems and maybe
core memories around money that's still actively affecting you. But
the other side of the page of cups is getting
into your inner child, like getting connected in the sense
of looking at money from like a like a little
kid in wonderment, you know, like not seeing it as
(12:16):
this energetic thing that could go away at any moment,
seeing it as like, what.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
Can I do with this?
Speaker 2 (12:21):
How can I utilize money in a way that's fun,
in a way that's creative, in a way that like
fuels and refills me and being present. And I think
a lot of the problem with money is that we
tend to get in our heads about it, which gets
us out of the present moment. We're either thinking about
how maybe experiences we had in the past or worrying
about how it's going to play out in the future.
(12:43):
But we're not like in the present where money doesn't
really like when you're actually sitting in the now, it
doesn't really have any relevancy when you're just here in
the moment. And so I feel like a lot of
what you're learning and what you're already trying to use
in a positive way is being more present, being more
(13:03):
in your creativity, being more in you know, like living
in the moment and letting it unfold without feeling like
you have to worry about the past or the future.
And so I feel like that is like high yourselfs
like yes, do that. That is going to help you
work through those fears. That is going to help you
get more clarity on what needs to go and and
(13:24):
also be that counterpart to the work that comes with
the star, which is doing some some trauma, you know,
trauma healing because a lot of times that could be
really heavy too, so when you're able to find your
play and your creative expression and a way to like
using creative expression as a way to transmute the trauma
into something else that's more beautiful and more positive.
Speaker 3 (13:47):
So yeah, I feel like that.
Speaker 2 (13:49):
I feel like you're already kind of tapping into that,
and high your self is like yes, yes, and yes,
keep doing that.
Speaker 5 (13:56):
All right, I'm going to offer a little bit now, Okay,
if anybody wants me to tie this in. What came
to me at first is when I was younger, my
parents were divorced. My dad was kind of the one
that was tight with money, and money.
Speaker 4 (14:11):
Was there was always a lot of friction about money.
Speaker 5 (14:15):
And at one point when we were fighting, I literally
said to him, I feel like you love money more
than you love me.
Speaker 3 (14:21):
So here's a really deep seated.
Speaker 5 (14:24):
Belief and a connection with, you know, one of the
most important people in my childhood.
Speaker 3 (14:29):
That is associated with money.
Speaker 5 (14:32):
Another time, we were leaving the store and I had
pennies left like I'd gotten changed, and it was pennies,
and I threw them on the ground because I wanted
a child to be able to find them, because when
I was younger with my grandmother, we would find pennies
and it was like a fun thing we did together.
And my dad got so mad at me, and he said,
you don't throw money away. So here's the foundational stuff
(14:54):
that you're referring to as far as in the present
that the things that I'm doing now that I've been
thinking about and recognizing is I am already living a
lifestyle of one where I don't have to make money
because my husband is supporting me. I'm at home, I
don't have to work. I'm living the life of somebody
(15:18):
who has a lot of money, but I'm not focused
on that as much right I'm always forward thinking, future
thinking what can I do to bring because I want
to support him as well, and I have that pressure
I put on myself instead of just going, wow, I'm
already living that lifestyle. What do I love about what
I'm living right now? And really aligning with that energy
(15:42):
that's really already.
Speaker 3 (15:43):
Present for me? Yeah, wow, that's interesting, especially with that
landing in the present where it's like it's almost like saying, hey,
I mean and I would say, especially with the rest
of what I'm seeing here, I would definitely say, there's
absolutely that is being called in to do for yourself
and it's and it's more about you and your relationship
(16:05):
with money and how to better that. But I just
love how the present card is like, yeah, you have it,
Like you know, you're in this.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
Space of creativity where you're in this space where you
don't have to worry and you could be more present,
and yet there's still around it. And then you did
ask about money, so it high yourself is like Okay,
you asked, let's show you what, right, So moving into
the near future, I've got two cards, and I kind
of feel like this could be even like, I know,
(16:34):
we talked about whether or not you want to tie
career in and purpose, and I kind of feel like
it's hinting a little bit to that too, So it's
like you're getting a little bit of that. So the
first card is the eight of Sorts, and then the
next card is the higher Self message to the near future,
and that's the Three.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
Of Pentacles reversed. So when it comes to the.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
Future card, I always, I mean often there will be
one on the table, but I don't always like to
give it a whole lot of attention just because it's like,
this is where you're headed. But it's just a projection, right,
It's what do you do with this information will also
shift what comes into the near future. So this is
more like heads up, you know. I definitely feel like
(17:14):
this is also present energy for you. It's not just
it's not just coming from the future. I feel like
this is more like the invitation is what are you
going to do about it? More so, if that makes sense.
So the Eight of Swords is similar to than Nine
of Swords, and that it's all about perception, it's all
about how you're feeling the situation. But it specifically talks
(17:34):
about feeling stuck or feeling trapped, or feeling like your
hands are tied. So when it comes to money, when
you like really when it comes for you, like I think,
I think this is more like for you calling in
money for yourself, not because it's like you have you're
taking care of, you have a roof over your head,
you're being supported. I don't think that's you're not worried
about where that's coming from. I think this is more
like for your relationship with money. For you specifically bringing
(17:58):
in money, you feel like your hands are tied. You
feel like there's no way forward and you're stuck. And
so the invitation is to work on that. And so
what the Eight of Sorts is inviting you into is
broadening your perspective and understanding that the feelings of being
stuck and trapped is all up here, it's not actually reality.
(18:18):
And so I like to use the analogy of like,
let's say you're in a locked room and you're trying
to break down this door. You're throwing furniture and yourself
at it, like you're like pounding on the door. It's
not budging, but you're so focused on the door you
don't see the open window that's right next to it.
So I mean, essentially, there are hundreds of ways forward.
(18:39):
You're not trapped, but your mind says I can only
go through that door, and that door is not an option.
But it's just saying that that particular door isn't an option.
There are there's the open window, there's you know, all
sorts of ways out here, you.
Speaker 3 (18:53):
Know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
So yeah, so it's starting off with coming and I
feel like that's where that Nine of Swords is also
speaking to that fear. I think there's a fear around
understanding that you're not actually trapped, and I think that
there's an element a lot of us. It's like the
flip side. We think we're afraid of failure, but we're
actually afraid of success. I feel like there's that aspect too,
(19:15):
where maybe you're afraid of having money because you are
so and coming back to the trauma, it could be
that you don't feel like you can handle money very well,
so you'd rather someone else have have it, So you're
afraid of being successful, because then you're afraid of what
you'll do with it when you have it. Whereas you
know that page of cups, I really love that for
you because I feel like cat yourself as like that
(19:36):
freedom you feel now because someone else's hand handling it
is something that you could absolutely have while you have
it too, Like that freedom, that creativity, and that being
a child and having fun with it. You're allowed to
do that, And I feel like that's probably a lot
of the work is the fear, the feelings of being trapped.
Speaker 3 (19:56):
Like all of that I think is around you being
able to play, being able to just call it in
and know that you're allowed to and it's your right and.
Speaker 1 (20:05):
Not everyone wants to talk about their situation or life
questions out loud, and that's okay. That's why my email
tower ratings are a perfect fit for the inward seekers,
the ones who feel deeply process everything and don't always
have the words or the energy for a live session.
Here's how it works. You send you a question, I
(20:27):
tune in, pull cards, and record a seventeen to twenty
five minute voice message channeling what comes through around your
question and situation. You'll also receive a photo of the
cards polled, all delivered your inbox within twenty four hours.
My intention is always to honor your journey with sincerity
and heart aligned guidance. If this feels like the kind
(20:47):
of support you've been craving, let's connect. You can find
me at the link below or at www. Dot spirit
Journey Collective dot com.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
Okay, there's another word here, but I'm just gonna say
the opposite of frugal. You know, like you're allowed to
do that, to be free with your money or not.
It's your money, but you're allowed to have it to
make that decision. So the reason why I think that
movie The Inner Future is speaking to your your career
slash purpose is because of the Three of Pentacles reversed.
Speaker 3 (21:22):
So I love this card for a couple.
Speaker 2 (21:24):
Of reasons because it really challenges you to focus more
on accommindation. It's like a two way street, focus more
on yourself, but also in doing so.
Speaker 3 (21:34):
You're going to be bringing people together.
Speaker 2 (21:36):
So, first of all, the Three of Pentacles speaks to
knowing what your gifts are and putting your energy on
your gifts and not worrying about where you fall short,
not comparing yourself to other people, especially, you know, especially
if if it's other people that do similar work to you,
it might be easy to be like, Wow, they're really
good at this, and I I I'm not that good
at that, and so you then you kind of feel
(21:57):
like the well and then I think what happens too
is we tend to then put our energy into things
that we're not as good at because we're thinking, we're
thinking we're making ourselves better, but that's not our gifts.
So now we're pouring energy in that it's something that's
not something we're naturally good at, versus what we're being
invited into.
Speaker 3 (22:12):
What are you good at? What in your work do
you see as your superpower that you know that you
bring to the table in a way that other people
can't do it in the same way that you do it.
And so first, the first part of the invitation is
keep your eyes on your own paper and stay in
your own lane and really just focus on what you're
good at and bring that to the world.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
But by doing that, you're now giving people the space
who have gifts that are different from yours to show
up and meet you where you lack, and vice versa.
And so like this particular card. You see these people,
they're coming together, they're creating this collaboration. And so that's
why I'm thinking like this is I feel like this
(22:55):
is saying that for you a way too away.
Speaker 3 (22:58):
I mean, I think there's more work that has to
be done.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
But one of the tools to help you shift your
perspective around money is I think it's almost like, don't
even worry about the money part. Like I mean, obviously
you know there is work a while calling that in,
but I feel like it's like, focus on what you're
good at.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
Put your energy where you are lighting up the room
and you're fulfilling yourself and you're you know, you're doing
what you know you're really good at, and I think
naturally money is gonna come. And then I think when
you do.
Speaker 2 (23:25):
That as well, you're now bringing people into that same
energy as you, where you're helping them showcase their gifts
and you're helping them put their gifts out there because
they're different from yours.
Speaker 3 (23:38):
And so now you guys are collaborating and coming together.
Speaker 2 (23:40):
So that's where I'm feeling like, you know, a big
part of your working through your money blocks is actually
going to be through your career and purpose. I feel
like it's like a again of do feel like they're
they're all morphed together in a way.
Speaker 3 (23:52):
Yeah, that's why I joined them.
Speaker 2 (23:56):
Yeah, and see I wasn't sure how to put it together,
so it just came through for us, you know.
Speaker 3 (24:02):
But yeah, I feel like.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
The more you're in your purpose, the more you're doing
what you love, it's you're going to be naturally compensated.
But I think for you you need you have these
blocks that literally is almost like I don't want it
or I can't have it, or these ideas and this
narrative around if I have it, then what. So I
feel like it's yes, being in your career is going
to be a big life changer, like really really truly
(24:24):
being in your career because I think also part of
the owning your gifts is letting yourself be compensated for
those gifts. So I feel like that's another aspect is
really allowing that in. But yeah, it's it's a It's
interesting because I feel like this is going to help
you broaden your perspective and being a place where your
ray to start shifting.
Speaker 5 (24:46):
This is speaking to something I've been focused on lately
because what if I don't use what I've been doing.
What if I spent all that time in school and
I don't use any of it? Right, there's that that's
kind of scary, Like you don't become a doctor and
then not use it.
Speaker 4 (25:03):
People don't do that.
Speaker 5 (25:05):
So I have that fear of what if I want
to be a party planner? Like what if I'm good
at that and that's what I was meant to do,
But I wasted all this time on a degree and
I have to let that go and just follow what
feels good to me, what lights me up. And that's
what I hear you saying.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
I want to give you a different way to look
at it, a reframe. What if you did all that,
you learned everything to the degree. Yeah, you're not using
it in the way that you expected or planned to.
But who's to say everything you learned from that isn't
going to plug in somewhere else? And what else you're
doing which you may not have had the skill set if.
Speaker 3 (25:45):
You didn't do the degree first?
Speaker 5 (25:47):
Well, I mean psychology applies anywhere there are people, right, yeah.
Speaker 3 (25:51):
Yep, So I would look at that like, where what
have I learned through my degree that is actually showing
up every single day what I'm already doing and can
also show up in my future and whatever I want
to do.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
Yeah, that way, it doesn't feel like it's wasted, because
I personally.
Speaker 3 (26:09):
Don't feel like anything's ever wasted.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
I think that we wake up when we're supposed to
wake up, and some of us are do that sooner
than others. But I do feel like we gather what
we're supposed to gather for a reason, and then later
on you're like, oh.
Speaker 3 (26:23):
My god, that's why I took that class.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
You know, like it makes sense now, but I think
it'll it all will come into play. So that and
and by doing that, you're also releasing this idea that
it was all wasted or all for nothing, because I
don't think it was really good.
Speaker 4 (26:38):
That's wonderful.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
Thank you, You're welcome. Okay.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
So the next two cards, they're very much in the
line of the changing your perspective and beliefs around money,
and so I feel like that's ultimately the same is
it's like you have the perfect container to do this work,
and you know what, both both being so reported financially,
so you don't actually have to worry about money and
(27:03):
being in a space where you can explore what are
my gifts and what do I love to do? Right,
So you have the perfect container for that. So now
it's like the biggest invitation is okay, So now there's
some serious beliefs we.
Speaker 3 (27:13):
Need to undo and deconditioned. So the first card is
the Harafont Refirst and.
Speaker 2 (27:21):
This one is is a pretty heavy card because it
specifically handles conditioning and programming. It talks about how, you know,
everyone in society was given beliefs, expectations, narratives about what
we should do with our life, right, and we all
have different versions of that, but we were given it
(27:43):
by society, by our family. This is who we're supposed
to be, This is how we're supposed to live our life,
and you've got to do it or else. And the
thing with the hairrafont is the biggest invitation is to
actually like really just take inventory, like really look at
everything you were given and actually ask yourself, is this
(28:03):
really me? Does this actually resonate and slowly peeling back
those beliefs. And so when it comes to money, a
lot of your fears, a lot of the things that
are holding.
Speaker 3 (28:16):
You back and making you feel trapped. It's it's in
your belief system around it.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
So with the Herarifont, it's all about turning your attention
inward because we're as a society, we're also taught.
Speaker 3 (28:30):
To look outward for all the answers.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
And with the Harafont specifically, it's like, this is more
about what you are being called to, what resonates with
you having that self sovereignty and by in order to
find a self sovereignty, you have to really look at
your relationship with money, your beliefs, what you witness growing up,
(28:53):
what you were told, you know, what you know caregivers
expected of you with money. So part of that's with
what you were shared with your dad, you know, when
you went to school. I mean there could also be
this whole thing like you were sharing did you pay
for your schooling? Because if film and someone else paid
for it, there might be this obligation of, well, they
paid for this, so I should.
Speaker 3 (29:14):
Do this, you know.
Speaker 2 (29:15):
So there's there's all these belief systems around money that
you know, you're really being called to look at and
with it being reversed in this sense, I do feel
like in a way you've already started the process, Like
I think you already are starting to realize that just
because you were told it, it doesn't mean it's true.
(29:36):
And so I feel like you've started the very beginning
of this work. And so I feel like that's why
the towers here are the Nine of Swords, the Eight
of Swords. It's like you're right on the precipice of
just fully diving in and just immersing yourself in these
questions of who am I, what do I believe? What
do I want to believe? See, that's the other flip
side of the question. There's the what do I believe?
(29:58):
Because I was told to believe it. But then the
flip side, and the fun side is when you get
to say, okay, so this is what I was told,
but what do I want to believe instead? And then
shifting it because we do get to choose what we
believe and our beliefs. Also, that's where we manifest, is
from our core beliefs. And so I will say, which
(30:20):
is leading us into the next card, which.
Speaker 3 (30:22):
Is the Seven of Wands. Which the Seven of Wands
is about being triggered. It's about feeling like you need
to defend something, and can come a couple of different ways.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
Sometimes someone is just the mirror for us, whether they
like it or not, and they're pushing our buttons, and
we lash out at them because we feel like we
have to get defensive and they're just the wrong person
at the wrong time because everything we're lashing out has
nothing to do with them.
Speaker 3 (30:48):
So sometimes that happens, or sometimes we have to be like, hey,
I need to draw a boundary because this is an overstep.
But in order to know the difference, you need to
be aware that you're being triggered enough to be like, wow, okay,
I'm getting defensive.
Speaker 2 (31:03):
I feel like I need to, you know, lash out
what's going on, and kind of checking in before you
lash out, you know, or before you take action. But
I feel like that's right next to the Harafont because
a lot of the Harafont work does tend to come
with backlash from those that gave us the beliefs.
Speaker 3 (31:23):
And you know, they.
Speaker 2 (31:25):
Gave it with good intentions. It wasn't like they were
trying to hold you back or stifle you, right. They
gave it to you because that's what they believed was
the rest the best thing to do.
Speaker 3 (31:35):
And so part of the Haraphont work is discerning how
to gently. How does you know with grace say thank
you but no thank you?
Speaker 5 (31:47):
Oh my gosh, I just got hit with this visual
of taking pennies every time I go.
Speaker 4 (31:53):
To the grocery store and throwing them in the parking lot,
like to get over that.
Speaker 5 (31:57):
Negativity that I experienced as a kid, like allowing myself
too because I get joy and believing that kids are
going to get joy from that and I can do it.
Speaker 4 (32:08):
Yeah, maybe I can heal that by doing that.
Speaker 3 (32:11):
Now absolutely, Oh I love that. Yeah. And then comes
right back to the president and the inner child work too,
you know, is you're basically you're showing up for that
inner child that felt squashed. Right, everything gonna cry real Yeah.
Speaker 2 (32:27):
So I will say like, on this journey, don't be
surprised if you get people pushing back. That's part of
the process, and that's where that's when you check back
in with yourself, especially before you find yourself in that
defensive you know, that place where you have to get
defensive and fight back. It's checking in and being like okay, wow,
being really triggered around this, what is going on? And
(32:49):
do I need like do I agree with what they're
trying to hand me or do I need to gracefully
say thank you, but no thank you, and that could
come with I mean sometimes people get really upset over
that and then you know, and it could cause a noe,
you know, like a divide sometimes and hopefully you hope
that they eventually come around and support you.
Speaker 3 (33:09):
But this is this isn't about them.
Speaker 2 (33:11):
This is about you, yeah, and reconnecting. So I feel
like from a bird's eye view, with money, it's you're
you're safe, you have the right container to play with with,
you know, receiving it. I think it's about changing the
perspective around what will happen if you start to get
(33:32):
successful and you start to make your own money, and
really kind of looking at those questions and looking at
the beliefs around it.
Speaker 5 (33:39):
It's really wonderful for me. You know, this is a
reading unlike I've ever had, and I've had many because
I usually just step into it and go, just give
me whatever's going to come through, and I always get
some kind of positive message because I think, you know,
generally speaking, spiritually speaking, things are always good and always
(34:00):
out for you, and it's really easy for spirit to
bring that kind of thing through. But I'm really happy
that you offered me this opportunity, and I have to
be honest with.
Speaker 4 (34:11):
Everybody right now.
Speaker 5 (34:12):
I felt some shame in asking you to focus on
money for me. You know that's easy to do when
you're saying I want to know about this. It's because
you're lacking in that area. And I felt like I
had to step into a kind of space of bravery
in order to lay this out there and allow you
to bring this message to me. But this is probably
(34:34):
the most helpful reading I've ever had because I allowed
myself to be vulnerable and not just say well, whatever
comes through comes through, which is a really easy thing
to do. I've said, no, this is an area that's
really specific to me that I want to focus on.
I've been working on this, how can I get better?
And it was a heavy kind of reading, but in
(34:56):
the best way, because it's what I needed to hear.
I just want to thank you so much for that.
Speaker 3 (35:03):
Thank you so much for being vulnerable and for your feedback.
And it's helping me too a lot, actually, because it's
so funny, I just did reading before this before we
jumped on here for myself for human design. One of
the things about what I'm meant to do and.
Speaker 2 (35:21):
I've struggled with it, but after doing this this other reading,
I thought, you know what, I'm just gonna embrace it.
Speaker 3 (35:27):
Part of my gift is provoking what people and it's
supposed to be you know, the whole purpose is to
help people hear what they need to hear, even if
they don't want to hear it kind of a thing.
And so it's just hearing that feedback is really helping
me like, Okay, now I'm supposed it's okay that it
(35:48):
brings up big feelings and it has that kind of
a reaction because that's what that's what my gift is
is focusing on not focusing on that, but letting that
come through, and it does say, you know, doing it
a way that's like graceful, that's not you know, I'm
not like trying to but it's being that messenger. And
for some of the.
Speaker 5 (36:07):
Heavier topics, the way this whole thing unfolded for us,
it really is a beautiful.
Speaker 2 (36:12):
Thing, absolutely because it's you know, we're there's a reason
we're all we're all here doing what we're doing.
Speaker 3 (36:19):
Right. So I guess, well, thank you so much again for.
Speaker 2 (36:26):
Connecting with me and being open to being a Spotlight
guest and being open to the messages that came through.
Speaker 4 (36:32):
That really was my pleasure in my honor.
