Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hello, Welcome to Sports Kingdom. Arm your Hostelian Bravo. And
so the Eagles go on to win by a final
scorer of twenty four to twenty. All it took was
the final play of the game where they added.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Some mix of pressure along with.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Coverage downfield, and you could key on what has been
the repeating or repetitive problem of the Cowboys basically which
hopefully won't be so much. The repetitive problem head into
week two is that now that maybe they've established George Becketts,

(00:52):
even though I didn't quite necessarily see much of him.
He may have had just one catch, it's just that
seed him, of course, got the whole boat load of attention.
I think where Dak Prescott's mind is is concerning you know,
he's a type that I think came into the league

(01:14):
with a wonderful story background out of Mississippi State, and he.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Was characterized by.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Many fans, you know, with his background, many many fans
took took by him, and mostly in Dallas, they took
onto him very easily.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
After the departure of Tony Romo.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Fast forward, you know, Nacis were of course braying up
tonight the screws that he's had to have inserted, unfortunately
into him, and I think that's really took taking a
toll on him, you know, I think I think he
just plays too much pressure on himself. When you look
at him on the sideline a lot these days, I mean,

(02:05):
he's on a bike at times, I'm like, wonder sometimes
why isn't he just being cool, calm, collective much times
and much so today we saw him spent almost in
the face of Jaen Carter, but instead John Carter sped
at him and was ejected.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
At the game.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
There was a lightning delay, unfortunately, which is why this
is being lately recorded. But nonetheless, here what a good
turnout this game was for the Philadelphia Eagles. And I

(02:47):
just love the fact that we saw John Hurts really
turned on his rushing attack. I mean, I think it's
given me his best season ever because he knows he's
also going to.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
Have to provide for the Madden cover or Madden curse.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Say Quon Barkley and sae Quon Barkley is someone that
is still not to be under estimating. He had some
good rushing yards tonight. But even though the Cowboys were
from one point russian six point.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Zero yards Park Kerry, and there was not too too
much said.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
But Zach Bond tonight with the double tax with uh
John Carr, they tried to too much implement the newest
addition Adra Jackson. Honestly, I think we we can much
agree that the f the philip Eagles are gonna slowly
implement some of these guys. Jahad to Campbell slowly along progressed.

(03:49):
I felt tonight and passed coverage. But you know, a Door,
I just don't get a strong, great impression, especially since
he's been the lake for a while now. He's a great,
great veteran presence, but also I think not good, especially
as we saw Quinnon Mitchell. He's a high taken first

(04:09):
round pick and he has not shown through throughout the
first couple of seasons. Now in Philadelphia, Cooper dejen he
really got into it with a Dallas player.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
I really liked that.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
I also like the past deflected. You know, he did okay,
but I would like to see more. And again, the
secondary has to step up against the Dallas secondary type
of trio that wants to test them and then go
further to see if they can play much dominant for

(04:46):
secondary defense as well. The top as you're hearing a
lot now about others said such as the Ravens or
the Broncos just just signing Nick Bonito to an extension,
and many other top defenses, and they can go on on.

(05:11):
It's just you know, the Dallas Cowboys though, you know
he saw it smirking on the sideline with Miles Standers.
I really kind of stand that kind of stand. And
this is just the portion of Philip Kingdom now.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
It's just that Jason Garrett was in the tunnel.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
You know, he was smirking away too, you know, because
all smirks and signed and Dallas, you know, run away
in the in the tunnel of our own just really
wanting to defeat away any purposes that the Eagles would

(05:49):
fight back their cells.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
I was listening to Mike.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
Mike McCarthy on the Pat McAfee show, and he was
plainly stating that the Eagles really have much an advantage
these days in terms of the grass field, and if
most of their veterans by now have played advantage to
it and and slick. So I don't know where my

(06:15):
cold Mike comes up with this stuff sometimes, but he
may sometimes be correct on because he was a Super
Bowl champion. It's just, of course, I quite wonders just
for an interesting thrown out fact out there is that
how would it be if the Eagles transition uh to

(06:36):
a turf field in the near future, because there's according
to sources that they will transition to a dome. But
I wouldn't like that because you know, the Cowboys already
have that, or I just think I just think lincod
and Financial Field is great. So anyways, I hope you

(07:00):
could listen to this portion the shows sports CUMUUS dot com.
I just seen that alone on battery, but hopefully you
could be still listening. So here we go. Eagles have
won twenty four twenty over the Dallas Cowboys, and again

(07:25):
what out of victory? And this was Brian Schaheimer's first
time as a Dallas Cowboys head coach, and they're talking
about it the announcers, how Brian play aspired tonight in
his faith towards his father, Marty, who's up there on

(07:46):
the whole time list of two hundred wins.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
And Marty, I remember, was a great.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Head coach, most particularly back not only in Kansas City
but also San Diego. Really grew fond of his days
there and uh, everyone knew it was Unfortunately never won
a super Bowl, much like Brian is trying.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
To win one now on Dallas.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
There was a great bled to one point from savon
Diggs tonight, but uh, you know, you know, Murray a
great audition early on in the quarters. You know, I'd
like to see more, and I think they're they're doing
well so far. You know, justin Newson, he's been around

(08:28):
the league for a long time. You know, they got
they got, you know, certain pieces. You know, they're just
gelling along in terms of salary cap position positioned after
the departure of Michael Parsons, which I'll never get.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
Into on this show because I think it's just till.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Blasphemous, but you know, it's just that, uh basically basically,
you know, because because I mean, uh.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
The details are pretty short.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
You know, it's just whenever you're gone a morning show,
I shall not name. It's just you know, I'm not
I'm not too intrigued. And the details are basic that
he wanted more money over three solid years, so he

(09:25):
got it. He's a Green Bay packer and he wasn't
present in this game. And other than that, you know,
Doron Bland was talked a lot about going into this game.

(09:50):
But the Eagles, meanwhile, in terms of their wivesiters say
a lot a lot of talk to their wide receivers
didn't happen to show up at all. Joanne Dotson, however,
you know he he made some good catches. I wasn't
too I still wasn't too pleased though, despite what you
may think about that topic, I still wasn't pleased with

(10:14):
Dots and I still wasn't pleased with Brown. In fact,
I've never been too pleased with Brown. If you've ever
ever heard of my commentary on Bran and uh DeVante Smith.
For the most part, you know, these announcers know it.
The best players of them all for the Eagles on
offenses have always been jail and Hurts and see kuon Barkley,

(10:37):
and it's always referred back to the toush Bush, which
it did tonight again successfully. And they they managed to
know to cope along with uh the offensive line versus
the other the other offensive line and basically went after,
you know, the Eagles trying to undermine what they had

(10:59):
gone up against in terms of some of their deficits
on defensive pressure from last year, leaving such as Josh Sweat,
Milton Williams, and now including Brandon Graham who was presenting
the Eagles prior to this game. And so there was

(11:23):
just a list of so much things. But you know,
I mentioned there was fighting, and I went on the
lightning turned out there were actually Eagle cowboy players for
you hugging.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
There was Sydney Brown down injured. I hope he's okay.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
But you know, the Eagles, you know, next man up,
of course, you know, uh will will out of out
of Clemson.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Shipley.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
I thought I made a huge impression tonight. May have
only done a few snaps, but based off getting known, well,
you know, it's just I think, guy, you know, you
can certainly you can certainly come a long way just

(12:32):
after I thought Besmo rookie season. I mean, he really
looked much more better and different tonight in my own impression.
And that's that's even sparkling away from the fact that
that the Eagles lost Johnny Wilson due to the season,
and it's a huge Danner as we allude back to

(12:54):
the fact that the Eagles have now offensive coordinator Kevin
Patoula and Mike McCarthy today was right on the Pat
mci Show about that. One thing in particular is that
there's really no shakes about Ken Batoo at the moment,
you know, and you know, it's just obviously enough buying
Sean at home played a much better game tonight than Patua,

(13:16):
luckily enough, just has to go back to the playbook
tomorrow or the next day and be prepared.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
So you know, you know, and uh, I.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
Guess you know, he goes, you know, definitely for the
most part, try to play it up the whole and
you know, just ignore. I guess certain players like I
didn't really hear much anything about Mazie Smith. You know,
there has been so much negative talk about him, and
so you know, uh, the goals can only maybe do

(14:04):
so much to eliminate possible factors on certain terms of
the field they want to get get get tour at.
But in all certain certain circumstances, Uh, you know, I
would say for the most part, the Eagles played an

(14:27):
excellent game tonight.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
They are now want to know.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
And tomorrow is uh pallo, you know, tomorrow night, it's
how pallo.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
Between the Kansas City Chiefs and Chargers.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
Everyone's rolling in that to be exciting matchup slash divisional time.
Now excitingly enough, people are saying, oh wow, the Broncos
are actually supposed to be the number one team going
into this season according to the Athletic.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
Most exciting, exciting. But I think I think.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
Maybe people are jumping the gun a little bit on
the Broncos in my opinion, that's just me. But anyways,
I want to hear your take in the comments section,
and again I.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
Want to.

Speaker 1 (15:39):
Zip it on Philly Kingdom for our fans out there
that pay tribute possibly to that tonight a little bit.
And of course the scheme tonight that tremendously took place
between the Philadelphia Eagles and Cowboys, and I don't think
it was too too great. But in the end, of course, uh,

(16:01):
the players gave it. They're all. Once they really got
back out from the weather delay, they they of course,
you know, came out with an upstage dwarf. Of course,
as you heard from gathering sources and again, and there
was a lot of talk from Mike McCarthy about how

(16:23):
Dak Prescott still working much on his three step drop
and most importantly he is a play action passer, but
he's just still working on things, you know, and that's
definitely important if he's going to still keep around with

(16:44):
the Dallas Cowboys as they still have multiple draft picks,
as many people are.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
Exciting, and Dak Prescott is.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
Someone that just has to keep in mind of spreading
out the offense. And that's the way he did pour
execution on tonight of what the announcers called it on
basically was that he did not spread out the offense
just when they called it towards the end.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
And uh that that toy vert.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
I would really just if, as the coach called it down,
they didn't really feel comfortable throwing it at George Pak's
as latest time of year to earn a contract ay day,
but unfortunately, they you know, had other plans and uh,
you know, you know, I don't really think Ceedee Lamb

(17:40):
is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.
Go much more into depth about that later, but.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
You know, I guess that about does it.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
You know, I really wanted to see more a little
bit out of like I started to say, Zach Bond,
especially Nolan Smith and Nolan Smith really had one great
I mean actually it was it was It was probably
one of his best tackles or sacks I've ever come

(18:31):
across in recent memory.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
I mean, he's he's gonna have a great season.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
But uh, but then uh, I just think that uh
the Eagles got to think about getting some key players
back though, and uh focusing ahead, most specifically about Joel
Carter returning and then also uh uh Nakobe Dean because

(18:57):
Nakobe Dean, Uh I can certainly help out inside the middle,
especially as alf that's a line tormented a little today
in Dallas, his offensive line. And I'd say one more
thing for those Eagle fans Phili Kingdom.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
Go Jon Carter. I mean we talked.

Speaker 1 (19:20):
I remember talking about Joe Carter when he first got
drafted Georgia, and I said, this guy's not maybe gonna
make the NFL. And uh he uh turned out to
just have a nice smile today on his face. He
just walked it off clearly after Dak Dak Prescott, who's

(19:41):
not a good sport you.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
Know, you know, uh it was it was certainly.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
A good moment because he left it all to the
next man up as the Philadelphia Eagles still were able.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
To go on and win.

Speaker 1 (19:58):
You know, was Vic Fangio who it was the oldest
defensive coordinator in the NFL that put in the work
and they went on to win as a solid team victory.
So that's it, and thank you very much.
