taking the Al West. Front of Mariners was the key scene.
So they started like a scene, ended more like a
beat plus leaving me giving him that beat. As far
as the bats, you and Alvarez never really took this
step into being the household name. You know, he did

have a solid season, He just wasn't hit as many
own runs early in the season as he did late.
Solid season by you and Delva Rez another one there
top players and Kyle Tucker stuffed the injury early in
the season which really hurt their production, which contributed to
the slow start. I mean they had a good death
in the outfield anyway, but just didn't play up to

their normal production like players like Chas McCormick and Jake Mayers.
Mayors was pretty consistent, but McCormick definitely wasn't the player
that he was last season with injuries hitting him as well.
The main stars. Alan Breckman, he got off to a
slow start before really really getting hot, showing who he

as well. So he had to roll with Nathan Eobaldi
from my Red SoC Recorse, who've been with the Rangers
for a little while. They showed what he's worth, you know,

Kamar Rocker giving him innings. I really liked him finding

Kamar Rocker more towards the end of the season. He
was a highly titled pitcher coming out of Vanderbilt. He's
only twenty three, twenty four, so he still has a
lot of growth to him. I know he didn't really

he ain't want the best short stops in the game
Boy receiver. Of course, he suffered injuries yet, but he
was very hot for and after the injuries, Marcus Simeon

championship run, just really had the down year even as

him last year, but then I wasn't really there this
year and he wasn't really getting on base as much.

his backup anymore giving him a breather, or he really
was the main catch up his season. He just didn't
really perform. The same young player Josh Young who was
fighting with Gunner Henderson for the Rookie of the Year
last year. He got hurt early in the season. They
really missed their production, not really replacing him. Having caught

another young player showed up for the postseason.

So they expected locker room in this season, but he
never really made that jump last season about him real
down year, But they did find in the outfield White

Pictures for Strickland Alex would neither one of them even

lot of teams are going to give up some players

Is catchers left over who they thought, you know, to
show a similar growth was at a loss of price

despite some inconsistency early in the season, definitely get hot
on the power to really show who he was later

Similar with first baseman Ryan Nooda. He was another player
that showed power in the last season. Came to this

home right here and there. They found a good find
in outfield of Brent Rooker, but they possibly should have
traded on the deadline. He's more of a veteran player,
but definite was more of a fan favorite. Very consistent,

nice home run here. They did have an injury concerns book.
He held his own this year for him. Similar with
a young player Lawres Butler proved to be all around
solid player, show and speed that they still bass play
defense in some home runs here and there and cover
a lot of ground. Solid fine on Butler. So it
looked like they're building outfield. Then maybe that's why they

didn't want to get rid of Rooker with the Phillies.
Really wanted a lot of teams just to make the
playoff push better. Himself Brown hit a lot of on
runs for him, solid move sticking on the him, he's
very underrated for them. So I gave the a C
plus using the aids of the bottom feels. This year
they showed a lot of growth, stating a lot of

games showing a lot of fight. Say, the pitching not
quite where they needed to be for to help them.
So there's a lot of shootouts. But you know, they're
able to see with their bats, possibly see some players
that might not stick around long term, but they continue
to have talent pitching in and bat so I can
see where they did it. Get into a new State

City stadium, the whole nine decided to be going forward.
I mean, I'm sure they'll probably spend some money to
ask some veterans on both sides, which to help even
more the growth, so they'd be a whole different team
the next couple of years. I gave a seat plus

Angels being a C. I said, I really liked them

bringing in Row in Washington. You know, one of the
top development coaches around the game. Ever, so he was
born and developed a nice young staff.

for the playoffs, but he felt like, you know, with
him around him in the leadership role, they still had

was a nice player showing some good some good power,
and we needed said a nice hot streak. I think
they're thinking about putting a Dell in Montiac probably the latoon,
which would actually work well for them being left in

put them in the platoon to solid home right here

getting a little getting a little too happy with the
power over them, but said the team needed the runs

But as far as the pitching staff, the picture staff,
they don't really have anybody specialist stands out. Was a
lot of veterans we're supposed to have been read Datmas,
possibly Tyler Anderson, who I thought they stole at the time.
They trying to be more average and good picture. Small
move by the Dodgers letting him go, but they didn't

really have the run production at Toms early in the
season when they needed, which led to a lot of
losses early in the season in their record despite good eris.
But then the ERI started to rise later in the season,
so it was kind of exposed that these are more

been a lot better with Trout, so I factored that.

only twenty three, twenty four, so he still has a
lot of growth to him. I know he didn't really
get the dubs he kept he already love still show
good stuff out there. So curious to see what he
does going forward. As far as the bets, you know

he ain't want the best short stops in the game
Boy receiver. Of course, he suffered injuries yet, but he
was very hot for and after the injuries, Marcus Simeon
continued to be veried for death Dallas guy seen him

He didn't really show as much power prior season.

It definitely didn't get on base much as prize seasons,
but he did show his power late in the season
we needed, but just not hear no vaiting as much.
A lot of strikeouts there. Nate Low at first base,
I said his brother, but Tampa Bay Josh Low with
Nate lowill played a solid they getting on base, nice
average day about him. Definitely stay consistent for them doing

the season. Not much injury concerns there. Got to Jonahan,
who had a really good season last year during the
championship run, just really had the down year even as
far as swinging. He was more consistent. Back's powered to
him last year, but then I wasn't really there this
year and he wasn't really getting on base as much.

I don't know if it's not having Mitch gobb as
his backup anymore giving him a breather, or he really
was the main catch up his season. He just didn't
really perform. The same young player Josh Young who was
fighting with Gunner Henderson for the Rookie of the Year
last year. He got hurt early in the season. They
really missed their production, not really replacing him. Having caught

another young player showed up for the postseason.

Last year, really getting his really getting his time to play.

So they expected locker room in this season, but he
never really made that jump last season about him real
down year, But they did find in the outfield White
Langord out of l s Un one of them players.
He came in doing his thing, so really covered for
Evan Carter. That's up there, really covered for Evan Carter

not taking the next step. Solid season by Lanthor's another
player I can do it all. It's not really the
biggest player around sixty to one, but Langlord definitely special.
You know, lsu Guys is not a play seem in
the season there they just didn't really have the pitching
that they were weak when they come back expected to

come back. Of course, he didn't want to move off
their backs. With y'ash Young out, Evan Carter is trappling
really moved the other veteran pieces, so the injury of
the Sea go seeing not really playing the same would

overall in the league. But at this point injuries the
AEE the whole nine and they're getting paid pretty healthy
if you see them now, so you know I go
next for the A's being a C plus as a
lower market team, they didn't really spend much money in
the off season.

They decided to spend all veteran.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
Pictures for Strickland Alex would neither one of them even
really showed up for him. I mean stripling gave the innings.
Would they kind of saw what it was pretty quick.
People wasn't gonna do much. They were just supposed to
provide a veteran presence for younger picture staff just you know,
saw some growth, especially had the last seam.

They ain't one of.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
The best closings in the game. Mason Miller smartly decided
to hang on to him and only twenty five. A
lot of teams are going to give up some players
for him locked in the contract. The team that don't
really have too many pieces of smart move hanging on
to him. The catcher, they gave up on Shane Murphy
who I mentioned with the Braves going where Shane langle

Is catchers left over who they thought, you know, to
show a similar growth was at a loss of price
right over pay the probably both Langa Liz, you know,
despite some inconsistency early in the season, definitely get hot
on the power to really show who he was later
in the season played that they really expected to take

the next step.

Is like g Love second base didn't really take the
next step.

Show a lot of inconsistencies this year, didn't show much
power to his game, either rising he had played. I
like looking for to seeing a better sea of him
next year. And another player that they expected big things from.
That's the Arrible Reeves who showed up last year, but
he sat injuries this year didn't really do much this season.

Similar with first baseman Ryan Nooda. He was another player
that showed power in the last season. Came to this
season pretty cold, judicial power at times, and was surprise
home right here and there. They found a good find
in outfield of Brent Rooker, but they possibly should have
traded on the deadline. He's more of a veteran player,
but definite was more of a fan favorite. Very consistent,

nice home run here. They did have an injury concerns book.
He held his own this year for him. Similar with
a young player Lawres Butler proved to be all around
solid player, show and speed that they still bass play
defense in some home runs here and there and cover
a lot of ground. Solid fine on Butler. So it
looked like they're building outfield. Then maybe that's why they

didn't want to get rid of Rooker with the Phillies.
Really wanted a lot of teams just to make the
playoff push better. Himself Brown hit a lot of on
runs for him, solid move sticking on the him, he's
very underrated for them. So I gave the a C
plus using the aids of the bottom feels. This year
they showed a lot of growth, stating a lot of

games showing a lot of fight. Say, the pitching not
quite where they needed to be for to help them.
So there's a lot of shootouts. But you know, they're
able to see with their bats, possibly see some players
that might not stick around long term, but they continue
to have talent pitching in and bat so I can
see where they did it. Get into a new State

City stadium, the whole nine decided to be going forward.
I mean, I'm sure they'll probably spend some money to
ask some veterans on both sides, which to help even
more the growth, so they'd be a whole different team
the next couple of years. I gave a seat plus
just for not standing at the bottom. Last for the
Angels being a C. I said, I really liked them

bringing in Row in Washington. You know, one of the
top development coaches around the game. Ever, so he was
born and developed a nice young staff.

I mean it was tough. They lost so Tani, but
nothing off season.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
They didn't want to give him out, you know, just
holding on the hole that he might give him a
hometown stay, hometown discount.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
That turned out not to be the case.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
A better team Local and the Dogs, of course, but
they still had Mike Trout who was supposed to lead
the way. Trout started off playing pretty well as usual
what's up, and his injuries took him out. Trout's been
suffering pretty serious injuries the last couple of seasons, but
this one, you know, he really needed them for the
old tany and him looking forward to even thing with

his team despite not really having the talent all around
for the playoffs, but he felt like, you know, with
him around him in the leadership role, they still had
a chance.

So it was tough to see him go down early,
especially after players for well.

They were able to find players like the catching Logan
Ohive with a lot of experts love.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
They say, you got an old school game to him,
but nice power back there.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
He did suffer a couple of injuries, but it's a
young player for the most part, very good season. Taylor
Ward was another player who's been grown with Trout in
our field, but he had to take the next step
Trout and no time well with Trout injured and no
time gone, so it's good to see war and take
over their leadership role or buy power and needed and

your team to be consistent. Despite suffering some injuries of
his own, he got a solid seems not a veteran
news TiVo who always played second base, third base, shortstop.

So he just got on fire after a while, and
then they could have moved of him. A lot of
teams one of him and decided to keep him around
for his production.

I don't feel they're able to buy the player like
Mickey Monny had show good power, I said, but just
getting on base. Just wasn't really consistent, even though he
did have his hot streak and hot moments after a while.
But definitely see some power of his game, some potential
for to stick into the outfield full time, even as
a DH maybe, but the way he plays, he's an

athletic players. I think they wont him on the field
as well. Joe Adell, who they picked up in the Nationals,
was a nice player showing some good some good power,
and we needed said a nice hot streak. I think
they're thinking about putting a Dell in Montiac probably the latoon,
which would actually work well for them being left in
the righting Moniac Lefty del righty. That'd be smart to
(17:30):
put them in the platoon to solid home right here
as they both south of Cole Streets. Just I guess
getting a little getting a little too happy with the
power over them, but said the team needed the runs
best with trout out Joe stop zag Netto as a
player that I really like. He's been having a solid
season since last year. I say he's more of a

on base guy, even though he does surpriseet with some power.
There's a lot of potential there they find in different players,
younger players that bill in the spots we needed. Third
baseman Anthony Rendon, who a lot of people called out
and not loving the game. Seemed to do everything he
could not to play in the game this year, and
in fact that when he did play. But I think

about time he give it up and stop stealing them chicks.
But as far as the pitching staff, the picture staff,
they don't really have anybody specialist stands out. Was a
lot of veterans we're supposed to have been read Datmas,
possibly Tyler Anderson, who I thought they stole at the time.
They trying to be more average and good picture. Small
move by the Dodgers letting him go, but they didn't
(18:34):
really have the run production at Toms early in the
season when they needed, which led to a lot of
losses early in the season in their record despite good eris.
But then the ERI started to rise later in the season,
so it was kind of exposed that these are more
I say, C plus to be minus veterans, and that's
kind of the production.
Speaker 1 (18:53):
They gave more a C plus effort, I said.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
The advance was more so going at a C plus
to be minus effort without Trout and the more a
B minus effort with Trout, I said. Ron Washington continued
to develop the young players. Young players continue to get better,
so they do have some people to grow with, and
the veteran pitching staff really helps me.
Speaker 1 (19:12):

Speaker 2 (19:12):
It's hard to find pitching, so at least these guys
do out of play. Not really coaching there, just trying
to make sure that these guys stay on their game.
But they could use a little bit more production and
definitely a top player to lead the way. Were nice
age will help out, I said. Wrong Washington did what
he came to do. It's development going on. They'd have
been a lot better with Trout, so I factored that.
(19:33):
And they stayed competitive all year and never really gave
up on the wrong Washington of course, so you see
they love playing for him. I said, see grade there.
