Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, fundamentals and techniques, that's the key. Right sixteen minutes,
right sixty minute.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
I would like to welcome you to the Sports Talk
on censored NFL edition for the mock Draft. Basically with
the last four picks not really being in, I'm gonna
split the mic a half.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
This is picks one through sixteen.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Number one for the Tennessee Titans, going with your Doorg Sanders,
quarterback out of Colorado.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
I already said in my top twenty five.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
If you know, I went back in four m war
and then Shadul there's different things to like about both quarterbacks.
In this case, I'm gonna go with your door because
I think they basically have Pam Ward and Will Levis,
so they want a strong, long quarterback to make all
the throlls go off script. That's more Will Levers. So

(01:14):
why not give it another try to go with the
safer quarterback. It's your door, and I said, especially when
people saying what Jayden and Daniees has been doing, it's
definitely putting a lot of hype around your door and
what he can do for a franchise. Possibly, So in
that case, the number two for the Cleveland Browns want
with cam Ward, quarterback out of Miami. Cam Ward is

(01:39):
a quarterback I really like man. I got to know
him more so at Washington State. Man nice door threat quarterback.
I said, that's something more so it's your door does
sometimes with pam Ward can do it a lot more often,
even though he prefer to stay in the pocket showing
up his strong wrong So I like him the Browns
the new energy in that quarterback room. I think cam

(02:02):
Ward is a guy who positively started out of the gate,
just like Sanders, just in case they needed with the
injury to Watson again. But James shown that he can't win,
even though he is a fan favorite. Dtr shown that
he can play, but he can't win, so he's more
up a third string quarterback where he belonged.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
So I think bringing cam Ward.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Makes his things up. And number three for the New
York Johns I want with cornerback wide receiver Travis Hunter
out of Colorado. The Jihns is in need of a
quarterback after what happened with Dame Jones. But basically looking
at Drew lock and they still like Tommy DeVito. You

(02:46):
know they have quarterbacks who are serviceable and could possibly
get somebody later with the top two off the board
in this case, but there's no consolation there, you know,
going with Travis Hunter, who could be basically the best
player in definitely special and being able to play both
sides at the ball, they contribute, you know, being at
number one on number two cornerback in their case as

(03:08):
far as need and even.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
A number three wide receive.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
You know, they wide receive, but death chart is pretty good,
so he doesn't really have to provide much on that end,
but they'll definitely need to make cornerback with the main position.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
So I like overall fit the ad Travis Hunter.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Number four for the New England Patriots, I'm going with
pass Russia Abdul Carter out of Penn State. Calder, like
I said, he's not really Michael Parson, but he's a
nice speedy edge Russia, a little bit more financed than
Michaeh to not as strong, still got good strength to him,

(03:47):
you know, how have been at the angles, you get
tackled problems. You know, he could be a good secondary
pass Russian who will actually evolve into that guy. But
in this case, you know, it's not too many top
level players in the draft to me, But he's one
of them. I think the Patriots go that route with

(04:07):
Mike Raboys coach, now, you know, needing that pass rusher
for his game. Number five for the Jacksonville Jaguars O
cornerback Will Johnson out of Michigan. Johnson suffered a few
injuries who's kind of knocked them out of most of
the top three, but he's still one of them. Top

(04:27):
level poins and he even play safety in most cases.
We believe it's that visible basically been compared to Patricks
are chained the second.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
That's a nice camp there.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
He's not really as good as him, but I understand
the comp is definitely a good player number one cornerback
tight Now, I think that's what Jackson will need.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
It's a little bit for a secondary.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
They already have good pass rush going on in front,
but they get a cornerback like Johnson.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Like a lot of players be laid there, so I
like adding them to the mis six.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
For the Las Vegas Raiders, I went with running back
Ashton Genty out of Boise State. The Raiders need pieces quarterback,
running back, wide receiver, and then the secondary, but no
really top quarterbacks left. Similar with the Giants, so he's
got them going with a special player and that still

(05:21):
left in Ashton Genty basically wanted them kind work for
us running back even though he is a little small,
improven they can do at all. And the Raiders have
a lot lesser backs who can definitely go along with them,
you know, the spams and carriers, but gent could be
that guy lead the offense as a need of somebody
other than Broc Bowers and number seven, but the New

(05:44):
York Jets, I went with defensive tackle Mason Graham out
of Michigan. The Jets are losing a few players free
agency or Mike Leeding free players and free agency on
their d line, but they like to provide a lot
of pressure. But of course the main guy's Quinning Williams.
So I think you put a guy like Mason Graham

(06:05):
next to quaint Williams who's going to be getting double team.
Allowed Mason Graham to wrong free and do what he
did in college. He'll be at that quarterback just like
winning little similar to point. I can't say at that level,
but the two together will be a nice deal off
of the Jets in that defense. And number eight for

(06:26):
the Carolina Panthers, I'm a wide receiver tat Roll McMillan
out of Arizona.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
T Mac's basically.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
A top wide receiver for Arizona, constant play maker, six
foot five.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
He's a little skinnier than I like. I know, you
get a lot of you know.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Drake London, Mike Evans Comps, but I don't really see
him as that type of guy. I see him more
in Illeague at the number two, number three, but he
does have number one potential in my eyes. Then sixty five,
I say, more of a Michael Pittman type, you know,
that type. But the Panthers need playmakers for Bryce, you know,
as he continued to get better and show that he's

(07:05):
a real quarterback, so you need to wide receiver and
the weapon to do it. I think adding them to
the next help a lot the playmaker in space. And
number nine for the New Orleans Saints, I went with
past Russia Mikel Williams out of Georgia.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
They'll player. I'm not really his high on.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
I mean I went back and forth between him and
James Pearce right here. But a lot of scouts love
Mikel Williams. That's just saying, you know, he has that
athletic body at sixty five two sixty five, you know
where they just feel like he can be a play maker.
But I don't really see him as a little defensive
band or a linebacker. But they think he can just

(07:47):
be a per pass rusher and send him from wherever.
I thought he could have used another year. But in
this case, I'm gonna go ahead with MIKEL Williams basically
learning from Cam Jordan possibly being a defensive end and
this case with the Saints, or just Pery past rushing
off the edge helping them.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
And number ten for the Chicago Bears. I went with
tackle Will Campbell.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
Out of LSU said, in my opinion, that's a ten
year right tackle in the league. Like I said, I'm
no offensive line google, but now they're starting to say
that Will Campbell is short arms and might have to
play guard either way ten year player if some believe
he's a left tackle. But I know Chicago is trying

(08:33):
to mix up their offensive line even though they do
have down at right at right tackle.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
I mean, I think he could possibly slide over the left.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
He does have the potential or like I said, Will
Campbell can play next to him at guard given a
lot of versatility there. So I'm gonna go Will Campbell
to the Bears, like, add him to the mix. Tough
linemen help them grow their run game.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
Definitely.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
The number eleven San Francisco forty nine Ers I want
with tackle Calvin Banks out of Texas.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
Banks is my favorite tackle in the draft.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
They starting to pick him apart two with the short arm,
saying he popular had to move into guard.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
I mean, I just like his sport work.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
They're like, you know, he had no problem with speed
Russians at all, and he still has their strength. But
in this case, you know, I got the forty nine
ers taking them, but they can plub them in their
guard if they need to, or possibly even train him
to be the left tackle to take over Trent Williams
and do both. So I just like the fit of

(09:37):
having Banks here for the forty niners. Another strong run
linement as well, with fort work to bounce it outside.
The number twelve for the Dallas Cowboys, I want a
wide receiver Luther Burdon the third out of Missouri. Burn
The third was a player listen to me during the
Kyle the season. I kept saying that he could go

(09:59):
top ten, well should go top ten, possibly the top five,
but his quarterback Brady Cook got hurt, so his numbers
kind of suffered. But even still, once you give it
to him in space, an instant playmaker. So I just
like him as a fit taking over for Brandon Cooks,
who's possibly leaving in free agency. I'm sure Jerry won't
pay him again, said Brandon. Third, could be your number

(10:24):
two or possibly even in the slot next to Toll,
Burd and Lamb. I like to fit there, even though
it's not really a Jerrany type of move. But I
say they're getting to play. But it went top ten
at twelve, he'll call it value pick as well, so
I can see the number thirteen for the Miami Dolphins
I want with safety melic I Starks out of Georgia.

(10:48):
He another player that people are really high on. Say,
I like his coverge skills. I like them more than
a corner back than the safety used to absolutely play
maker back there.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
I mean, I don't really think he is the power.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
And his hit I like to see it a safety,
but with the coverage skills in Roman and m his
team has passed now, I could see him being a
free safety in the league. So with both safeties up
for free agency for the Dolphins, I mean, I'm pretty
sure they would like to bring back to Jon Holland,
but they'll have a need for one, so I feel
bringing mat of p stops put him next to Holland

(11:21):
at least let him start off as your main safety
roman back.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
Then they really need a lot of help in the secondary.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
Number fourteen for the Indianapolis coach one with tight end
Tyler Warren out of Penn State.

Speaker 3 (11:36):
Warren is my top tight end in the draft.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
I read like his versatility in a little bit more
of a moveable peace where you can catch, he'll run
the ball, he'll block this overall tough guy, So I
like to fit for given Anthony Richardson somebody nice to
throw at, basically helping his passing percentage go up. For
whoever is that quarterback they decided to set him again,

(12:02):
you never know, but I think Richardson should be that guy.
He's number fifteen, but Atlanta Falons went with defensive end
James Pears out of Tennessee. I'd say I went back
and forth on between him and Michael Williams between the Saints,
so it could be a flood flop for these picks
later on. Well, James Pearce is one of my favorite

(12:24):
past russsent the draft. You know, they do seehim being
a little skinny. You may have to play a linebacker
because of that, but either way you can rush you
off the edge.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
Show him.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
For the last two seasons, Reggie looked at him the
number one pick, so to get them his absolute value
if I might even sneak them, say number nine to
the Saints, but in this case at the Falcons and
a nice past rushing who should help the media.

Speaker 3 (12:52):
The number sixteen for the Arizona Cardinals.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
I went with linebacker edge Russia Jaylen Walker out of Georgia.
He's a player, but also sneak his way into the
top ten. I mean, if he was two inches taller,
they will see him as that absolute pass rusher, maybe
even sneaking in the top five then. But at six
' two most peop don't really want them as that
main pass rushing off the edge. But I believe his

(13:17):
main spoct it would possibly be middle linebacker. We could
do a little bit of everything and even show his
pass rush skills and even discovery skills. He's over all
around playmaker, but the card and them need a little
bit of both by the pass, rusher, all around playmaker,
so I think he could be a star here because
they're still looking for top playmakers in their front seven,

(13:39):
even on the back end as well. But I hope
you enjoyed this, looking forward to give you the second
half real soon more sports needs to come.

Speaker 3 (13:48):
Thanks for tuning in.
