I want to let you know that I am marked
on a dangerous adventure on yesterday. Yesterday, I decided that
I needed to stop by the mam. It's a dangerous
adventure because this time of the year, you have everybody
out trying to get that last bit of shopping in

and as they're out and about there they are looking
for that right gift for that special somebody, no doubt,
no doubt, somebody made a.

List and now someone is looking down the listen at
the last minute, have decided and.

Discovered that I have not finished what I should have finished.
And even though Christmas is not about us giving gifts,
but about the gift that we have already received, there
are many of us that still.

Participate in the act of giving a gift.

are some gifts that just don't fit everybody.

I learned a long time ago that you do not
buy a woman a household appliance for a Christmas present
unless you put sit on her list or she asks
for it.

And there are some of us that have received gifts
that we have done. What it's called regifting. Look at
your neighbor and say regifting. And what that is is
somebody by you an ugly sweater or a tie or
something that you think is hideous.

Take the name tag off the box, put it in
a different package, and give it to someone else. It's
called regifting. Look at your neighbor and say regifted. But

that there is a gift that we all can regift.
And that is the gift of Jesus Christ. Every now
and then, because you have him in your heart, you
ought to save him with somebody else.

observed a lot of people. I observed people in line.
I observed people complaining about how many people were out

in this season of given, that there is one person
that is the best gift giver that there is, and

laced it in swept, wrapped it in swelling clothes, and

gift was so great that even the simplers had to

If we were to examine the season the text, this
text is invited to capture our imagination and attention and
talk about a man by the name of James.

You know, there are many different James in the world
and James in the Bible. This was not James the
Disciple and some of y'all wondering about James. No, this
was not James Evans a good time. But I want
to let you know that this James here, he did
experience some good times.

Because this change was the half brother of our Lord
and savior, Jesus Christ.

own brothren was not considered family by Jesus.

tell you that this holiday seeson, one of the greatest
words that will see inscribe, one of the greatest words
that we'll talk about, that we'll sing about, is a
three letter word that is simply called joy.

Say John, now cannot preak for just about thirty seconds.
They'll let you know that joy and happiness is not
the same thing, because you can be happy but not
have joy. Happnness is based on what is happening around you,
but joy is found on the inside. You can be
you can still have toy. You can be sick and
still have talk. You can not have the things that

you want and still have toy. Because this joy that
I have, the world didn't give it to me. If
the world can't take it away, he said, my brethren,
count at all joy all since he said, count y'all

a reason I have some joy.

to indulge.

You're gonna fall mental barriers, trials, test and timtations. But
Jane is saying, in the midst of what you're going through,
in the midst of what you've been through, and the
mint of what's happening to you, in the midst of

around you, that because you know who you belong to.

He said, If anybody lacks your wisdom, let him ask

is saying. James is saying every good and perfect gift
comes from above.

have necessarily a gift from God, because Satan, the work

of evil, can give you a gift to the way
that you tell.

And perfort can I say right now for just a moment,
because there are some things in your life that walked
into your life that God didn't allow. That God didn't ordain,
but God allowed. Let me correct that God didn't ordain
for that zero to walk into your life, but because
that's what you wanted.

Gift is not useful to you, cannot say with you
that it doesn't fit the criteria of good and perfect.

meaning God is giving us something that is useful.

it didn't come from God. Let me talk to the

he is. I don't care how good looking he is.

If he don't have a tao be, if he talked
to you like you ain't a human being, that's not
a useful man. And that is not a gift from God.
I wish I had somebody. You can't be conceived, my
brothers and sisters, because the Father will put a gift

it wasn't from God. I wish I had about five

of one of my favorite gifts that I ever received.
It was especially designed Dallas Cowboy bicycle. Can I say
with you? I don't know what happened to that bike,
but somewhere along the way it acted like the cowboys.
This bike lost this life, even the fact the bank

begin to lose instead of winn.

Bike got hold, I had to get rid of it.

not good and perfect. It was a good gift at

That when God gives you a good and perfect gift,
it does not get outdated, and it does nothing.
