Second King's Chapter four, verses one through seven. For your hearing,

In order for us to understand and appreciate this thing
called life, it's oftentimes necessary for us to look back
over our life and to examine and.

Evaluated those people and those things that have impacted us
and made a difference in our lives. My brothers and
sisters that want you to know that there is no
person outside of God himself that you should be closer
to than your mother.

is the one that you met first.

this day and time, what we lack is we lack
mothers that pour out into their children.

to where grandma and mothers were the kind of mothers
that we grew up around, I believe that the world
would be a better place.

About folks for our kids going to school and shooting
up schools. We didn't worry about some of the level
of disrespect that we see in this community among elders
and those that are adult. It doesn't matter how old
you are, these young people will cuss.

Because that's what was poured into us. And I want

that God uses.

Can I walk through this text list, I bore your
faces and keep you too long. Here in this Texas
is a great passage of scripture. I love this particular
passive scripture because it tells us about a man by
the name of Elisha, not to be confused with Elija.
Elija was the one that came and preached and proclaimed

and was carried away. And God did allow Eliica to
pick up the man of where Elija left off. Here
it is Elis was a man that loved the Lord.
He was a prophet and he didn't care who liked
what he had to say. He said the truth, the
whole truth, and nothing but the truth. But here in

this passage of scripture we.

Now, like I always say that, in this particular passage
of scripture, this woman doesn't have a name. And since
she doesn't have a name, you can insert her name
right where her name is absence all.

Other than this, we know that she is the wife
of one of the prophets that had died. Period is
here it is her husband is dead, and now she
comes to you, Elisha, because before her husband died he
had some debt.

Right because he died without paying the debt.

Now the occbligation is on her to figure out how
to pay his debt.

And because of the magnitude of the debt, she.

Could not pay the debt now as it relates to
his debt, and that there needed to be some deliverance
because her two sons were about to become a part
of the creditors a credit to pay off the debt.
She comes to a license because her two sons are
about to become slaves. And she comes to a license,

and a license says to her, what do you want
me to do?

What do you have in the house? He said, ain't
got nothing. Buzz off.

He said, okay, that's fine, and that's all you got.

Here's what I need you to do.

I need you to go borrow some vessels. Don't borrow
a few, borrow a bunch of them.

And when you get into your door house, you shut
the door, you and your two sons.

back and have a visit.

But she doesn't ask him for something based on what

Her husband was a prophet, and her husband was a worssiper.

I may not have a lot of money, I may
not have materialistic things, but it's one thing that you

if the father died, that the son took care of

to her lifestyle. That is trying to close the door

Now, the first thing that she does is communicate. The
Bible says that she goes to a license, the man
