All right, Psalms thirty.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
One, And you should have it by now, and when
you find it, I would like for you to read
all of it in its entirety when you get home.

But we don't have time to read it all in
its entirety. Some good stuff in there. I'm going to
read verses one through five. I'm gonna skip down to
verse fifteen, and then I'm gonna read verse twenty three
and twenty four together.

But for time's sake, I cannot read all of it.
But I'm going to try and focus on all of it. Amen. Already,
here we go, Psalms number thirty one. I'm coming from
the King James version. You may have a different version.
The words may differ.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
But contextually it will mean the same thing. And there
you will find these words in your hearing. The inscription
says to the chief musician, a psalm of David in
thee O, Lord, do I put my trust? Let me
never be ashamed. Deliver me in thy righteousness. Bout down
thine ear to me, deliver me speedily. Be thou my

(03:49):
strong rock for a house of defense, to save me.
For Thou art my rock and my fortes. Therefore thy name,
say lead me and guide me.

Pull me out of.

Speaker 6 (04:01):
The net that they have laid privily for me. For
Thou art my strength into thine hand. I commit my spirit.
Thou hast redeemed me. O, Lord, God of truth, My
times are in thy hand.

Trust in God on credit.

Trust in God on credit, my brothers and my sisters.

For a job that these organizations and companies will pull
and review what is called a credit report, and on
the credit report, it gives them what your track record
somebody say track record looks like.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
And if your credit is jacked up, you got bad credit.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Whenever you go and apply for a loan, the linda
is gonna look at your credit and based on your
track record that you ain't paid nobody else, they will
decline your loan.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
Amen, Because what a.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Credit report reveals is not only how you paid, but
it reveals your ability, your reliability, and your ability. And
there are some people that you cannot trust and they
do not have a good credit rating. Y'all know somebody
like that that when certain people call you and asked
you to borrow some money, you don't have a problem

giving it to you. An't look at their credit reporting them
based on their track record. They paid you back the
last time you let them hold a little something. But
then there's some of those joking and ask you for
something that as soon as they ask, your mind reflect
and remember.

About the last time you paid.

Some money and gave them some money to bail them
out of a certain situation, and.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
They didn't even call you back.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
They were supposed to pay you back on the fifteenth
and the fifteenth pas.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
And now they act like when you call them that
you ain't doing you a paper.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
So when you see somebody like that that you let
borrow money, y'all know it ain't ain't got a call. No,
don't look at your neighbor, look right here. So don't
nobody get mad at you. But everybody knows that there's
somebody that you let you let borrow some money that
you might as well change that word borrowed. I have
because you ain't getting it back. And in your eyes,

they do not have good credit because you're not expecting
them to do what they said that they would do.
In other words, you're trust You're not trusting anything.

That they say. No one.

I know I gave you this two hundred dollars, but baby,
in my mind I already.

Wrote it off because I know you ain't giving me back.
Can I send something with you.

that God got better than good critics.

God's got the greatest credits all. Can I help somebody understand?
Because God has a track records. I feel about heal
coming already. God has a track record. He has a
track record of sewing up when you need it more.
You don't want to have a witness in there.

He has the track record of making away when there
is no way.

He had the track record of healing your body when
the doctor has walked the babe, and.

That second his hand. He had the track record of
being good all the time.

Is there anybody in this place that can testify that
God has the greatest credit? Because whenever I need, you know,
we always soul long time, I.

Trust in God on credit? Can I can I press
the point today?

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Then here the text, we find that there's a man
by the name of David that's writing this and and
and we don't know the occasion that caused David to
inscribe these words in this thirty first song, but what
we can tell from reading this is that David was
in a struggle.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
Let me say struggle.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
David was wrestling with some things, dealing with some situations
and circumstances that seemed to have overwhelmed them.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
David had anybody here, got some interviews.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
David had some enemies that were trying to destroying him.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
I know I'm hitting somebody here.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
And and when David has these enemies that's trying to
destroy him.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
He's now reaching out to God in the middle of
the struggle with his enemies.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
Can I help You don't understand something that every last
one of us in here, whether you realize or recognize
it or not, you have some enemy. I don't care
how many friends you have on Facebook, all the friends that.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
You connect with on a Facebook, they are not your friends.
I don't care how many family members you have.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Everybody that's in your family that's your kid, ain't your kind.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
And every friend that you can count you can't count home.

I'm resna as somebody because when the going that's tough
hander up, that will leave you all by yourself, but
you don't figure it out on your own. That's a
friend that ain't us anybody know more. I'm talking about it
cause he don't stick.

Closer than that. He'll never leave your offer safe because
he is one that you can count.

Home and that you can trust. Look, they're gonna say
trust the Gods good on credit? Right, trusting God on credit?

What's this? The word credit, Sister Dawkins, is an Italian word.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
We just got back from Rome, and so I learned
a little Italian while I was over there. I ain't man,
I didn't try and learn too much because I knew
I was coming back home.

But I learned enough to be dangerous while I was there.

But it's a word that refers to credito and credito
is a word that means belief.

The word credito and the word credit it comes from
a Latin word, but it also is Italian groups.

It is credito, which means belief. Watch this wats this?

So can I go back and tell you what I'm
talking about it again? Trusting God on credit? Okay, you

what I just told you and told you about what the.

Word credit means that it means belief.

It's simply mean he said, if you will change the
message to trusting God, I won't believe you're trusting God
for what you believe that the me that God has
already gone and come in somebody. It means that you're
trusting God or what you believe that He's able to do. Now,
do I have anybody that's trusting God on prayer? So
I ask somebody that's trusting God for something that he

hasn't even gone yet. You having anybody that's trusting God
for something that you may not even have asking for yet,
but you're trusting on the fact that God will do
it when you need him to do it, how he
will do it and you will be satisfied. And until
he does that, you're trusting the fact that.

Do it as what thing as I ask God to do,

I'm not sick, but if I got sick, I'm trusting
that God will heal my body. I'm taking God, Oh
good credit that God will provide for min The writer says.

First thing, when we talk about trusting God on credit, you.

Gotta have confidence. He's the neighbor, say confidence. Confidence can't
tell you what you gotta have. You gotta have confidence
in God that you served.

And David expresses confidence in God. Look at what he says,

He's expressing to those that he is writing to that
I'm not putting my trust just in anything or anybody.

Right. See, someone has put out trust in the wrong thing. Right.

Someone has put out trust in our money. And then
you find out that you have more month than you
have money. Some of us put out trust in other folks.
And once you find out about your friends and family
and those folks that you're putting your trust in faith
and come this in you.

You're putting your trust in what happens in your white house.

What can I tell you? There are some things that
are being mandated and passed down in the White House
that did not come from God's house. And when I

to put your trust is the Lord, and hold me
in the law, because.

If you trusted that money gonna be help, you understated
your money, even testify who went trust? No, I'm not
gonna make some money, and it will say in God
we trust. So if your money can't.

Can't you trust God?

You just cracty competent.

He says if he if you you watch this, old lord,
can I teach you just a moment, refraankrant.

What I discovered is that as we examine the seed
of this test, that sometimes we want to pass my
words quickly and we don't give him enough of our
attention and concentration and folk us to really understand what
the passage is saying. So I thought that I would
take a little time to teach you this morning.

He says, indeed, comm meaning there's a pause right there.
He's letting us know and making a statement in you
pause he called. He pauses for the cause, and then
he says, oh Lord, come, what's the word lord? The
Lord is capital L, capital old, capital R.

And capital D. If you're reading in a Keen James version.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
You can see, oh Lord, all the words of Lord
are capitalized. Can tell it's blessed be real good, really frankful.
And the reason is bringing blessed me real good, real franklin.
And remember, right, is because as when I begin to
do an understanding of that word lord in the Hebrew,
whenever you find that word.

Lord, capital L, capital O, capital R, and capital D.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
What this is the Hebrew name for God. Oh, y'all
still ain't weakly. But let me help you understand what
this word is referring to. Well, is God is self existent.
What it is also referring to is that not only
is God self existent, but God is everlasting.

The south, but let me bring it and put it
together for you and put it right before you. When
it says that God is self existent, can I call
some of those old saints that have gone on?

But you would hear them say something like this when
we talk about the law, and they would oft the
time say that God don't need any help, that he's
God all by himself. No neighbors say, neighbor, He's God, Oh,
by himself. That means he's self existent. That means that

he doesn't need anybody to do anything. God ain't like
the plants in your house.

He don't need to be water. God ain't like you.

Well, you got to have a meal every now and then.
But God is good and all the time.

God is good.

He's self existent and he is whatever it is he
needs to me. He's ever lasting meeting. He's like that
in the Zaza, buddy. He keeps going and going and
going and going, and when you need him he will sew.

Up and show up. And so he'd in here. Know

It from everlasting said never lasting, he's gone. So David says,
in you, God, oh Lord, in you, self existent one,
in you God, that everlasting God.

He's making it know who his Lord is, can't anybody else.
He's expressed the comfidence. This blessed me real, real good.

Because as I begin to study that word Lord, y'all
know what else I found out. I found out that
it was the covenant name of God. I said, received
by a man's in hendclassing that it's the covenant name
of God.

Can't tell you what that means. That means that when
you see the word capital L, capital old, capital R,
and capital D.

In many situations, he's getting ready to make a covenant.

word lord, you're asking him to be a promise people.

my trust is still up in you. I might not
even see my way out, I might not know how
to get out, but I'm putting my trust in you.

Good credit, trusting you on credit because even though I'm
in it now, I know.

You don't bring me out.

He's expressing companies, he said.

He says, don't let me be a same. These laghbors say,
don't be a same.

Can't tell you what I when I thought about when
I looked at that word, don't don't be a same
I have to look at that word of saying that,
and that word is saying can't you with the first
it refers to disappointing, that says it also refers to.

Try, and also is referring to the lay okay, can

and your praise is predicting on what God is doing
in your life. Let me help you understand that that's

God on credit. But I had a problem with the
last part this be clause of verse number one.

Because I know that God can and will deliver. How
many of y'all are that. I didn't have a problem
with him saying deliver me, but I had a problem
with how he was asking.

God to deliver him. He says, deliver me, wies in
thy righteousness.

Okay, okay, maybe maybe maybe that didn't get to you,
but that got to me.

Because I'm a study of the Word, and I like
to study God's words. And I know that the Bible
says that our righteousness is as filthy rags. Okay, come here, somebody,
you still ain't with me? I understand that the Bible
says that none but the righteous shall see God. I
also understand that if the righteous was scarcely making.

So if righteousness, if we are aquaiting our righteousness to
the righteousness of God, it would not seem to bring
south based but rather condemn nature. Can I gonna let

about Paul because we just got back from Rome, and

Romans, chapter number one, verse number seventeen when he said
that I am not a saying number.

The Gospel that revealed God's righteousness. What says from faith
to fail? In other words, when David is proclaiming that
he woke the God God to deliver him in his righteousness,
he's expressing God to give him grace and mercy, because the.

Gospel revealed that God is a God of grace and mercy. Okay,
y'all don't believe me, let me go.

Okay, I'm gonna have to go there already, Sister Carlum,
because somebody don't believe that the gospels reveal God grace
and mercy. Can I prove to you that the Gospel
reveals God grace and mercy, God sole love, the word
that he has only the guys and the sun gave

and bust by the answer of Christ. What said, righteousness,
according to the Bible has been imputed? Wait a minute,

when I tell you what this word imputed meanings, The
Bible says that because of Jesus death, burial and resurrection,
righteousness has been imputed unto us. Okay, okay, I said,
trusting God on credit. But can I help you understand,

imputed simply refers to an accounting term where God has
credit and righteousness.
