Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi, this is Colby from the Colby Cast and you're
listening to Star Wars Reactions.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Elegant discussion for a more civilized age.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
There's any of your fault.

Speaker 4 (00:14):
In nineteen seventy seven, George Lucas formed.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
A legacy with me.

Speaker 4 (00:18):
I am inspired by mythology. His soaka has become a
passion for many. His legend has become our story, one
of resistance.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
We are like.

Speaker 4 (00:36):
Rebellion and redemption.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
I'm Jay Father.

Speaker 4 (00:42):
This is Star Wars Reactions.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
We'll be with you always.

Speaker 5 (00:50):
Well, Hello everybody, and welcome to Star Wars Reactions. Welcome back,
We're here. I'm gonna have a great episode for you today.
Let's get the introductions out of the way. My name
is Aaron Harrison, joining me as always. He's the man,
the myth, the legend. There is no other like him

(01:12):
anywhere on the podcast world. It is the David Matyrs.
What's up, brother?

Speaker 3 (01:19):
What is up? My brother?

Speaker 1 (01:21):
I'm ready to react and ready to kind of, you know,
just get into some fun stuff here, some fun animation.
But we haven't been able to record on a consistent basis.
It was good to h to get back at it.

Speaker 5 (01:40):
Yeah, it's been we had our great relaunch episode we
were all excited for and went over real good, real big,
and then next thing, you know, last week happened and
you had some family things come up, and I ended
up breaking making a tooth and ended up having unexpected

(02:05):
oral surgery Friday morning, and uh lost all my wisdom teeth.
And it has been a it's been a long week,
my friend. I am still Uh, I still still have
solid foods, soft foods, I should say. So.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
I can't believe how good you look. Man.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
When I had it done, all four wisdom were impacted
right under the gum and UH did it my first
year of college, you know, between a freshman and sophomore year,
And oh my gosh, it's it's no joke, man.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
No it was. It was. I tell you what. You know,
there's pain and then there's dental pain, and you know
they they always you know that. To me, dental pain
is probably the worst pain that I've had. And I've
taken the soccer ball kicked as hard as somebody can

(03:02):
kick it to my nether regions, full blast, and my
tee is still hurt worse than that.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
So it's so it's so tender in there, so tender.
So you're you're looking good, Bud. You sound good.

Speaker 5 (03:17):
Too, Thank you, thank you. I've tried to rest and
real rest the voice as much as possible, so trying
to get things healed up and together again. And yeah,
so we'll see, we'll see how it goes. And uh,
but we got a great episode this week, or we

(03:39):
got for you lined up. We're going to get back
into the groove of reacting to Star Wars and uh,
because there was a lot that happened came out while
we were out over the through the beginning of the year.
So we're going to kick everything off with the Tails

(03:59):
of the under World series. We're going to divide the
Tails of the Underworld into two episodes because there were
two arcs about two different characters. We will do one
character this time and one character next time. And yeah,
just have fun with it. So this week for you,

(04:19):
we are going to sit back and break down the
three episodes of the cad Baine arc. Those would be
all three of these episodes where the story was developed
by Dave Filoni. All three of them were written by

(04:40):
Matt Metchnovitz. Now, the first episode, the Good Life, directed
by Saul Ruiz, The second episode, A Good Turn by
Stuart Lee, and third but not least, the One Good
Deed episode by Nate Villanueva. I like that name. I

(05:01):
can really get some Spanish flare on it vilan Webba. Anyway,
all of them released May fourth five. Good Life is
snapsins of each episode. A Good Life is where two
young friends get caught up in a gangster scheme. A
Good Turn is where Bain reunites with an old friend

(05:23):
who's on the opposite side of the law. And the
Good d Eric excuse me, and the last episode, One
Good Deed Cad Baine and is getting return home to
settle a score aka high noon. So let's uh, let's
go ahead and jump into this and go ahead and

(05:45):
get our reactions going. Let's start with our initial reactions, David,
and I'm going to pass the floor to you, my friend,
and let you get our reactions going.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Yeah, I think for me to start, I just thought
about ranking these. I just kind of that was my
first inclination. Usually I give all kinds of thoughts, but
I just after watching this, it's almost two months ago.
Tomorrow will be two months May fourth to July fourth,
so we're just under two months since these came out.
But if I were asked ranked three tales of series,

(06:17):
I would rate Tales of the Jedi number one, Tales
of the Empire number two, And of course Aaron and
I have talked about well, probably should have a different title.
And then this one number three, literally in the order
in which they came out first, was the best, second
best there and this is me I feel like they've
progressively gotten not as good, kind of going down a

(06:39):
little bit, not tons, but some. And second, of these
two arcs, I prefer the Assage arc over the cad
Bane arc. And maybe just kind of a third initial
point would be there are some good messages in this
cad Bane arc that everyone can learn from, and I'll
discuss those more in arc talking points.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
How about you, buddy, Very good, very good.

Speaker 5 (07:01):
You know, I was really excited when they announced Tales
of the Underworld. You know, I've really enjoyed these tales stories, uh,
tales of stories, Tales of the Jedi, Tales of the Empire,
not so much Tales of course Underworld. I was all
excited for hoping you could redeem themselves, and they did
to a certain extent in my eyes. You know, I

(07:23):
was really excited because it was supposed to be about
cad Bane and a Sage Venturess. These were going to
be great. You know, I'll save my venturous comments for
the Venturess episode, but for cad Bane. You know, this
this arc left me wanting. Honestly, it felt like an
I mean, honestly, this this whole arc felt like an
old gangster movie set in Chicago where childhood friends ended

(07:45):
up on opposite sides of the law, with you mix
in the movie high Noon, the old Western high Noon.
I mean it was I mean, there's nothing really explosive
about this. You know, cad Bane has been a great
baddie since the Clone Wars, and then he brought him
back in Bad Batch. I mean, there's a lot of

(08:06):
great things about this character, the mystery, the swagger, the
sheer coldness, and I in my opinion, I don't know
if we even really needed this arc because part of
it is that mystery. You know, when we got the
background on Boba Fet, did we really need that, as in,

(08:32):
you know, some of the background of him being a
clone and stuff like that, did we really need that?
You know, granted, if we wouldn't have gotten that, we
wouldn't have met Daniel Logan. But hey, you know, we
take them good with the bad, you know, and you know,
Logan being the good part. But you know, this was
one of those things that we we I don't know

(08:54):
if we really need it, because the question you got
to ask is does this arc and does the story
being told enhance the character that we already love, And honestly,
in my opinion, it didn't. It honestly took him from
a bad guy that I liked to a bad guy

(09:17):
that I honestly don't like. It's you know, I you know,
part of me wants to go all George Lucas on
this and pretend it's the Holiday Special and black it out.
But it's here, so let's let's do it. I mean,
it does have its good things, and you know, and

(09:39):
then that's one thing we always said when back when
we were doing Resistance is you know, there were a
couple episodes through Resistance that were just like so bad,
but there was still good things we could talk about
even though the story was.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
Just so bad.

Speaker 5 (09:55):
And there's still some good things in this to talk about,
even though I did not enjoy the story or felt
like it enhanced anything at all. But let's go ahead
and jump into a few things here in our talking points.
I know you hear in the notes you you've got
something written in here for a mini psychology corner, and

(10:17):
I'm gonna let you jump right into that. But first
before we do that, though, Colby Colby, Yeah, I mean,
I love Colby cast I love I love Colby man
a great guy. But Cad Baines's name is Colby.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Yeah, I don't how do they do?

Speaker 1 (10:40):
I don't know the point of it, you know, it's
not Yeah, I don't know why they didn't just leave
it like Nero. His friend was Nero in all three episodes.

Speaker 5 (10:54):
Yeah, I mean, I guess it's, you know, a discon thing.
I mean, yeah, you know, you go in and take on.
I mean, I like, you know, you look at the
bad guys of the Old West, Billy the Kid and
stuff like that. That wasn't his real name. His real

(11:15):
name wasn't Billy. Billy the Kid wasn't Billy, uh, I
mean he had it was a pseudo ym is a nickname,
and I guess cad Bane could be his nickname.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
But yeah, yeah, I mean, at.

Speaker 5 (11:30):
Least have something to do with the word Cad like
you know, maybe Carrotine. I mean, I'll just throw spitball,
right Cardine. Yeah, but you know it is it is,
you know, good for you Colby, Uh you're Cannon.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
Now, buddy love we love him. I I just don't.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
I don't get it here in this case. You know,
Dan says it a lot. Names mean a.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
Lot, and so I just leave it. That's me. That's
me on that one.

Speaker 5 (12:08):
Well, yeah, I mean a lot of you know, you
sit there and you look at through history. You know,
your name is who you are. Your name is everything,
your your reputation is attached to your name, and you know,
and that's your name is what's when when you're dead
and gone, your name is what lives on and how

(12:30):
people look at that name is how people are going
to remember you. And you know, I mean, I just don't.
I don't see the need to give Kad a different name.
But yeah they did, so yeah, I mean, I just

(12:52):
I don't know, man, that that was one of the
one of the things I was not I didn't enjoy
about this episode.

Speaker 1 (13:00):
I agree, it's one part of of of why And
you said it in your opening remarks, I does it
add to the lore to the mystery, to the swagger,
to the coldness. No, that's just one part, you know.
And so you know, and it's okay. You know, usually
you and I, you know, we're very pm a positive

(13:22):
mental attitude, and we're very balanced and stuff like that.
I think, you know, it's just okay that we're not
as hip on on this arc and some of the
stuff they did in it.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
You know, that's okay.

Speaker 5 (13:34):
Yeah, And and and the thing is what and that's
one thing that you and I have always agreed on
is there's going to be things. And we've said this
a lot through through especially when you know, the last
Jedi came out and Resistance and uh that of course
everything with Acolyte that happened in Book A Boba Fett,
you know, and even with Visions. You know, there there

(13:55):
are going to be things that some people like that
other people don't, and vice versa. You know, you really
enjoyed the first season of Visions.

Speaker 3 (14:05):
I did.

Speaker 5 (14:06):
It was all I could to make it through once
so we could review it. It's you know, it's not
going to be fair, but and that's fine, and I'm
totally and that's I'm totally cool with that. And the
people that that are good with it and love it. Dude,
I am stoked that you got something you love well.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
And if we if we said that we liked everything,
is that really intellectually honest right?

Speaker 5 (14:31):
Exactly?

Speaker 3 (14:33):
No, it's not. You know, it's.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
Okay and our listeners, our listeners have stuff they like
and then stuff they don't like. It's okay, we love
Star Wars, but it's okay if we don't like certain
certain series or certain shows or certain.

Speaker 5 (14:46):
Arcs exactly exactly, and for me, this arc was one
of them. So but yeah, but it is what it is,
you know. I it was still you know, it's still
animated Star Wars. It's still something good. I mean, the
whole thing, the whole arc wasn't bad. It had its
good points, and apparently it was deep enough you pull

(15:09):
the psychology corner right from its guts. I did so
tell us about it.

Speaker 3 (15:13):
Yeah, yeah, you know.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
As I went back and watched them again to prepare,
it really jumped out to me. I thought, yeah, let's
do let's do the ani psychology corner. And I wanted
to do it on two psychological concepts.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
One is greed and the other one's anger. You know,
with greed.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
You really see it start to develop over time, and
Laslow really feeds that, and the two boys at least
tries to and Cad really goes for it. You know,
it's not easy to rise above it. You know, you
start getting nice stuff and you want more stuff, you know.
I think about the current political climate. You know something

(15:52):
I've told my clients and I've I've had I've been
really helping my clients from all the political parties since
really the twenty sixteen election, and I've really talked about
how I think it's almost like we have to get
away from political parties and understand that this is about
about money and who has the most. I think about Congress. I,

(16:16):
you know, I would like them to vote themselves term limits.
I think all Democrats and Republicans would love to see that.
I haven't heard any say no, I don't want that,
you know, And and you know they always seem to
vote themselves a raised when it comes up. They never
seem to vote that down. Aaron, I want you to
be able to do that. I want all of our
listeners to be able to vote themselves.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
Arrays.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
I would like to, but guess what, I don't get
to But the reason I bring that up is because
you know, part of the challenge becomes a lobbying, you know,
and it's what I thought about, you know, a real
message of greed through what you know Filony's doing here.
And I see that in Congress. You know, when you
throw a pile of money at these people, guess what

(16:59):
they're going to. I asked you to vote the way
they want you to vote. And so these are big
issues that we have to get past as humans, right,
greed and lost. And then here's anger. You know, I
was watching this and you know, Cad he loses his
best friend, you know, Nero, and then he loses his
significant other Aaron her and then ultimately a son. Right

(17:22):
because of this emotion anger that comes so quickly, you know,
I was watching it and I really liked how that,
you know, there's a real lack of seeing reality when
Cad says to Neiro, quote you took everything from me unquote.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
Old not true? Right.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
Anger just blinds you. And again it's not easy to
rise above anger. I was covering it with clients today.
I was talking about the three emotions before anger, hurt, fear, frustration,
and I think that was pretty helpful to my clients,
and it's something that I readly recredible. And I'll just
quickly as as a little mini psychology corner, just remind

(18:04):
our listeners about Aristotle's challenge. And Aristotle's challenge was can
all of us show it's three components? Three components? Can
you show the right amount of anger at the right
issue at the right time, And if you do, that's
a real good presentation of anger or frustration. And so

(18:26):
there you go, a little mini psychology corner.

Speaker 5 (18:29):
There we go, there we go. And for the record,
I did vote myself a pay raise, walked into my
boss's office and she laughed at me and told me
to get back to work. So that went over really well.
You know, you know, it goes back to you know,
you were going through everything, and it kind of took

(18:49):
me back to master Yoda. Fear leads to hate, Hate
leads to anger, anger leads to suffering, and the truth
in that is universal no matter what. So well done,
well done, you know. To me, the one good thing

(19:10):
about this the best thing about this arc was that
final episode One good Deed. Because I'm a big Western fan.
I love my Westerns. I love John Wayne, Oh, I
love the Duke. I will watch I will I will
watch John Wayne movies all day, every day if I

(19:31):
could and mix it in some Star Wars. But I
love John Wayne and Gary Cooper as well. High Noon
fantastic one of the greatest westerns of all time. High Noon.
If you have not seen it, go back and watch it.
You know it. Gary is Oh my gosh, beautiful, beautiful movie. Excellent,

(19:52):
excellent movie. And to me, this this episode, this five,
the third episode of this arc one gadd was literally
just a tribute to high Noon because cad Bane comes
in the shuttle at noon, he shows up at the

(20:13):
police station a few minutes after noon. How does it end? Gunfight,
a showdown in the street, cad Bane versus Nero, I
mean literally one on one, and how does it end?
Walking off into the sunset? This was a West this

(20:35):
episode right there, pure and simple Western, hands down. You
have cad Bane who was built filled with just anger
and hatred at his best friend because he feels his
best friend double crossed him, has taken everything from him.
Like you mentioned in your psychology corner, he is just
rage pen especially after being in jail and imprisoned by

(20:58):
his best friend.

Speaker 3 (21:00):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (21:00):
And now he finds out that his significant other has
ended up marrying his best friend, has that since passed away,
and he has lost literally in his eyes, he has
literally lost everything. But little does he know little Isaac's

(21:25):
running around. That's a separate topic but we'll get into.
But I mean just that, that just the intensity of
that showdown, the the the just the hatred that cad
Bane had. You could hear it dripping from his word

(21:46):
as he's talking to Nero in that scene. It's it's
just so rich and so well done and executed. What
were your thoughts, especially on that final arc in the
especially there at the end with the show down, how
it all went down, What were your thoughts on that,
even to the build up.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
Well, you know, I think what hit me is again
I'm still in my psychology corner, and let's just go
to let's traumatize a young kid watching a gunfight and
your dad is shot right in front of you, by
your biological dad. I mean, you're just talking all kinds

(22:27):
of issues here. This is more than a mini psychology
corner now, this is a full blown therapy sessions for years, Okay,
for Isaac. This is the stuff that keeps me in business.

Speaker 5 (22:39):
My friend, right, job security for David.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
Job security, right.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
Just it's you know, how many of us have seen
someone shot and killed, you know. I mean, so you
talk about intensity, I mean, I don't want anything to
do with that, even people who go buy a car,
you know. I was I've talked to a lot of
my clients about this. How easy it is for us
to get traumatized. If you see a car accident and

(23:08):
you see the body over there under a bag, you
don't even see the body, but you know the person's dead,
that can be traumatizing for people.

Speaker 4 (23:15):
You know.

Speaker 1 (23:16):
So for this young kid to see this and just
watch it, it's you know, I usually do my you know,
suspension of disbelief, and but I really was noticing that.
I was like, man, I really wish this was more.
He didn't see it and then he ran over later,
you know, or something like that, you know, but he's
watching it. He's right up there on the steps. But

(23:36):
like you said, it's intense stuff, and uh yeah, but
very traumatizing.

Speaker 5 (23:44):
Oh very much, very traumatizing, you know. And that's what
kind of made everything just so intense through this episode,
especially this last episode of the arc. It was just
made so intense because you do have the the gambit
of the kid being there, you know, And it's honestly,
I honestly will say I did not I expected there

(24:08):
to be a shootout, especially when they lined up on offsite.
But I half expected the kid to get shot because
I expected him to run down in front of his
dad as they were drawing. That's kind of what I
was expecting. And then and then uh Nero to be like, dude,
you just killed shot your kid, and then Cad then

(24:30):
of course Kad bad and then go all stoic and
and shock and then turn and walk into the sunset
and leave his friend there to pick up the pieces.
But you know, he didn't get That kid lived And
of course the female runs in. It's like stay away

(24:50):
from him, walk away, and just and everybody just lets
him walk away. Yeah, he just shot the sheriff. The
dude shot the sheriff, and you're letting him walk away. Well,
he may get three or four shots off before you
get him, but you are there were enough people there
they would.

Speaker 3 (25:09):
Have got him. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (25:11):
Yeah, again mention of disbelief, that's right, but yeah, it
was to me that was the best part of this
whole arc was that final episode because of that, that gunfight,
that whole high noon, high stress, high anticipation, high anxiety situation,

(25:34):
because you have Kine who's just bent on revenge and
bent on anger, being fed by his anger, and you
have Nero who is just waiting. He he doesn't you
could tell he holds no ill will toward Colby. He

(25:55):
was raised different. He holds no ill will toward Colby.
He he's protecting his son. He's protecting Colby's son. He
has guarded Aaron's secret all these years, and it's one
of those things that and when he tries to tell
tell Cat and Cat's like, now I'm done talking, he

(26:16):
just flicks his toothpick away and goes for the gun.
At that point, you see the realization in Colby are
in Nero that all right, this is this is not
the man I knew And I think honestly, Nero knew
he wasn't walking away from that fight. Oh I knew

(26:39):
he was. I think deep inside me, I feel Nero
knew he wasn't walking away from that gunfight.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
Yeah, he was resigned to it, you know, He's really
resigned to it, you know. And it goes back to
we talk about the human heart where these are duros, right,
but you know we're using you know, fiction to talk
about humanity, right, And you know it's always it's always

(27:07):
tough to see this when when good people get caught
literally in the crossfire in this case, the direct fire
of bad people.

Speaker 5 (27:18):
Absolutely, yeah, absolutely, absolutely. So you know we're wrapping things
up here in this discussion of this cat Bane arc.
You know, we we have a character who we we said,
the question was asked when when we were doing our openings,

(27:42):
how does this add to his character? How is this?
How does this add to the character of cat Baine.
You know, he's the bounty hunter, he's cold, he's heartless,
he's a young, lean kidnapper, a holocron thief, kidnaps children,
breaks into the Senate. I mean, does all this mean

(28:05):
bad stuff and he's a bad friend and he's a
deadbeat dad. It doesn't fit. It really just doesn't fit.
And point point question, David, did this enhance the character
of cad Bane for you?

Speaker 3 (28:26):
No, not at all.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
In fact, we've we already hinted at, you know, at
least with the name and then the rest of this
the mystery, there's just less is more here, Yeah, lesson
is more, less is more and so no, I didn't
feel like it did that at all. And that's a
bummer for me because I really like this character. You know,
I've loved him through the Clone War so good, so good.

Speaker 5 (28:51):
Oh yeah, absolutely fantastic character. And I love Cad. Baine
was a bad guy I liked liking, so you know,
I to me, I agree, it did not add anything,
if anything. Like I said in my opening, it kind
of took a bad guy I was I liked and
made me not like him more.

Speaker 2 (29:12):
So.

Speaker 5 (29:14):
All right, well, let's start get things wrapped up here
and get things going. Kick off our final reactions. Uh here,
and I will I will take it. Take it first, David,
and then let you go.

Speaker 3 (29:29):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (29:29):
You know, like I said, there's always something to like
in everything. I've said it earlier in the episode and
I've said it before, you can always find good in something.
And like I said throughout this discussion, the third episode
to me was the best of the arc. The High
New Nest Showdown was extremely well executed. Not no pun intended,

(29:52):
but extremely well executed. And the only question that's left
left me asking because is what happened to Isaac. Where's Isaac?
You know, you gotta tell us what happened to Isaac.
You don't tell me Bain has a kid and just
leave it hanging. I now need to know what happened

(30:13):
to Isaac, and to kind of piggyback on what David did.
I know in his opening he ranked the Tail series.
So I will end my closing with the closing reactions
to their final reactions to with my rankings. For me,
number one was Tales of the Jedi, hands down by

(30:34):
far the greatest they did. Two for me is actually
Tales of the Underworld. Three Tales of the Empire, because
I absolutely hated Tales of the Empire. I hated it.
There's just no way around it. I will definitely find
good things to say about it, as we did when
we reviewed it, but I did not like it at all,

(30:55):
and I just couldn't add to me, had nothing to
do with the Empire, the story stated. So yeah, that's Tales.
That's that's my ranking. So David, taking away, my friend,
what are your final reactions to the Bayne art.

Speaker 1 (31:10):
Yeah, well, it's pretty consistent with the whole theme of
this Reactions episode.

Speaker 3 (31:16):
And you know we've We've talked a good number.

Speaker 1 (31:18):
Of times on this Pack podcast about whether we need
more background on characters. You know, Aaron has talked before
about well, you know, oh wait, there's gonna be a
Han solo movie.

Speaker 3 (31:27):
Do we need it?

Speaker 1 (31:28):
And sometimes you think yes, sometimes you think no, Like
I think about background, like sometimes it works and Or
season one and two in the background there versus what
we knew of and Or and Rogue one. I mean,
you talk about being successful and just like incredibly successful,
and I'm glad to get all that background, and I

(31:50):
love that background on and Or, and you know it
just it worked so well. And I think that's pretty
much across more people agree with it. You know, sometimes
it doesn't work. A Book of Boba Fet, you know,
getting more of that it was kind of cool. But
he's another one who the mystery right, didn't someone tally

(32:11):
up the amount of minutes he was showing in like
Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi or something
like that, And you know, we we got more, but
I I could have done without Book of Boba Fet.

Speaker 3 (32:23):
I could have done without Book of Boba Fet.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
I really loved first meeting Boba Fet in the holiday
special in animated form and then of course seeing him
in the movies and stuff.

Speaker 3 (32:34):
But leave it that way.

Speaker 1 (32:36):
Like I said, it's hard to know if you're the creatives,
what works, what doesn't work, and or it worked. I
don't think it worked in book of Boba Fet and
here I don't think it worked with uh, you know,
cad Bane.

Speaker 3 (32:49):
So I say, leave the.

Speaker 1 (32:50):
Mystery, and I wish they would have left it with
Boba Fet.

Speaker 5 (32:54):
I agree. I agree, Very good, Very good. Now for closing,
we got homework, folks. I'm going to give you all homework,
and David, you got homework as well, because I've already
done this. I did it this afternoon for our for
our review of the Ventress arc, which won't be this

(33:39):

say welcome back. It's great to see Star Wars reactions
back on the podcast feed. You've been really messed.

Speaker 6 (34:38):
I'm looking forward to hearing more of your reactions to
on or season two and to Tales of the Underworld.
I'm even looking forward to hearing some more of the
dud jokes. I might have to think about that last
one a bit more, perhaps, but anyway, glad you're back.

Speaker 2 (34:56):
Love you guys, Speak soon and have a good one.

Speaker 5 (34:59):
Thank you so much for that, Dazz. Appreciate you setting
that in. And it's good to be back and behind
the mics again. And I can guarantee you, whether you
want them or not, we will have more Star Wars
Dad jokes.

Speaker 3 (35:16):
I love you, Dazz, all right, all right.

Speaker 5 (35:19):
All right, So with that, you know what that means, David.

Speaker 3 (35:24):
Yeah, the end of the show. We're done, right, wrap
it up.

Speaker 5 (35:27):
Right, it is the end of the show. We're gonna
wrap things up and end it the only way we can,
the only way we have done, and that is, of course,
with the infamous Star Wars Dad joke of the week.
Are you ready, David?

Speaker 1 (35:46):
I am.

Speaker 3 (35:47):
I'm ready for this, buddy.

Speaker 5 (35:48):
All right, here we go and I will throw this
out too. This again joke was again provided by Adam Jung.
He said, before our hiatus, he sent me an email
had like three or four jokes in it. They were
all great, so I was told him I was going
to use them. Now that we're back recording, we're using them.
So here we go. This one is what was the

(36:13):
occupation of the Gamorian who fell off the roof of
the cantena.

Speaker 1 (36:19):
What was the occupation of the Gamorian who fell off
the roof of the cantena.

Speaker 5 (36:25):
I'm not sure, but he sure wasn't a bouncer.

Speaker 3 (36:28):
Oh what, that's a good one. That's good.

Speaker 5 (36:42):
Thank you so much, Adam. That was a great one.
Uh he sure wasn't a bouncer. Yes, yes, yes, indeed
he wasn't. So all right, all right, all right, well David,
why am I going all Matthew McConaughey on us?

Speaker 3 (36:58):
Now? It just works, apparently it does.

Speaker 5 (37:02):
So with that, my friend, it's been a blast getting
behind the mic with you again.

Speaker 3 (37:08):
Yeah, we're gonna we're getting back at this.

Speaker 5 (37:10):

to thank everybody for joining us this week. Thank you
